And that is that the truth from President Trump will be so shocking and so difficult to believe that many will not think it is possible. Big Media has kept most of the Joe Biden facts hidden from the public that many Americans have never heard the truth about Biden before.”
That last bit in bold is the key. President Trump’s job was to present the truth Big Media kept hidden from the American public to the American voter. Some think that President Trump was too aggressive and helped veggie Biden to avoid answering questions but Veggie Biden was going to follow instructions from his masters no matter what. Some suffer from esprit de l’escalier and wish President Trump had said what they wanted to hear the way they wanted to hear it. But understand this, the job was to get information to the public that Big Media wants to keep hidden.
Look to the date. Today is the last day of September – which is the last day of the third quarter. Tomorrow is the first day of October and the first day of the fourth quarter. Connect President Trump’s debate performance with those dates and you will see why President Trump won big. Today, Veggie Biden goes full malarkey tour and returns to his golden yesteryears with a whistle stop tour on a train. Next up we presume he will discover the telegraph and do interviews via Western Union.
President Trump will continue to lead the nation in the 21st century. Tonight a rally in Minnesota and while there a talk about law and order for the voters that have suffered so much with Antifa violence that Veggie Biden does not see.
Update: This convention is quite spectacular. Our expectations were that it would be a bore and useless. This is well produced and crafted. The speakers are not only attacking but defending. Melania’s speech took all the Trump manners that offend some people and turned those manners into solid reasons why PDT is the man for the job. That PDT might be crude and too tough is now explained to the public as someone who fights with all he has for the American public.
The live appearances are infinitely better than the prefabricated rubbish from the Dims.
As to Melania’s outfit: it is a smackdown of Moochelle Obama. The color of outfits are the same. Melania’s outfit is a ready for combat look contrary to Moochelle’s loutish look fit for a cocktail waitress. Note also the waistline. Melania is able to wear a belt around her waist that emphasizes her figure. Moochelle couldn’t wear that belt around her ankles, let alone the waist. Ca-Ca-Mala Harris and Sloppy Joe Biden are a convention of criminal dunces. Instead of using the Dim convention to not only attack President Trump but also to insulate themselves from the carpet bombing attacks to come by the genius President Trump and his campaign, Ca-Ca-Mala and Sloppy chose to ignore reality. President Trump will now schlong reality onto the dunce duo. Yup, the Trump convention is on.
President Trump and Vice President Pence are already voted on as the nominees on the first day of the RNC convention. Now the attacks can begin. The attacks will be based on the Obama Dimocrat totalitarian left violent attacks against America in Dimocrat controlled cities.
In sum the President Trump campaign will be “LAW AND ORDER”. The choice for American voters will be a President Trump who makes promises and keeps promises versus a lawless and corrupt Biden/Harris.

Trump Trails Biden, but Polls Show the President Has Some Strengths
Trump’s image has improved among white voters, and Republicans are growing more interested in the election [snip]
An improved image among white voters: Among white voters, Mr. Trump lags behind his 2016 vote share as recorded by exit polls. But in a sign of improvement, white voters in the most recent Journal/NBC News survey were divided almost equally between positive and negative views of the president. Four years ago, by contrast, negative views significantly outweighed positive ones among white voters, 54% to 35%.
“Trump improved his image among whites by about 20 points in the last four years,” said Micah Roberts, a Republican pollster who works on the Journal/NBC News survey with Democrat Jeff Horwitt. “That’s very important because they are more than 70% of the electorate.”
Holding steady with Hispanics: Mr. Trump trails his 2016 support levels among many groups, polling finds. Among Hispanic voters, by contrast, he appears to have maintained or even improved his standing.
Some 31% of the nation’s largest ethnic or racial minority group say they will back the president, a slightly higher share than the 28% who voted for him in 2016, according to exit polls.
Hispanic voters aren’t a unified bloc, and their partisan profile varies by state. But Mr. Trump could make gains in Florida, Arizona and several other battleground states if he cuts into Democratic margins among Hispanic voters.
Rising interest among Republicans: Intensity and anger can drive turnout, and Democrats sought to use their convention last week to unify voters who dislike Mr. Trump’s combative style.
But Mr. Trump has also boosted Republican intensity. This week’s convention has the potential to raise it further.
Interest in the election has risen among Republicans in the past month and now matches Democratic interest. Some 85% of Republicans rate themselves as highly interested in the election, compared with 83% of Democrats.
Some 27% of voters say they would be optimistic and confident if Mr. Trump were elected, compared with 14% who said so in 2016. By contrast, 19% of voters said before the Democratic convention that they would be optimistic about Mr. Biden’s election.
Up-for-grabs voters lean Republican: The Journal/NBC News survey in July looked at voters who haven’t ruled out either candidate and are “in play” in November. These voters as a group have characteristics that suggest they are open to Mr. Trump and his party.
Some 22% have a positive image of Mr. Trump, while only 11% have a positive image of Mr. Biden, the July poll found. They prefer a candidate who will confront the Washington establishment, a hallmark of Mr. Trump’s pitch to voters, over one who makes an appeal based on competence and compassion, key themes during the Democratic convention. In addition, these voters want Republicans to lead the next Congress rather than Democrats, 42% to 25%.
Trump leads in the economic argument: Polls have consistently turned up voters who say Mr. Trump has done a good job handling the economy but won’t commit to re-electing him. In August, 48% said he was the candidate best able to deal with the economy, 10 percentage points more than said so of Mr. Biden, and yet more people said they would vote for the Democrat.
Mr. Trump is sure to use the convention week to argue that voters who think he can revive the economy should send him back to the White House.
“Mr. Trump is still favored on the economy, and that’s the top issue people are using to decide their vote,” said Mr. Roberts, the Republican pollster.
“Burn, baby, Burn” used to be a slogan in favor of riots during the age of riots in America. The result was the Democrats were destroyed on election day.

Black thugs target the black community. Don’t expect this truth to be discussed at the funeral of Saint Floyd. White Liberals don’t give a damn about this truth. White Liberals don’t mind a “Purge” of black neighborhoods as long as White Liberals can return to their safe, well policed enclaves where there are no blacks. Remember when last week Black Lives Matter marched freely through Los Angeles? They were stopped when the march started going towards Beverly Hills where the rich White Liberal movie stars live. Now to the interesting part: THE WHITE RIOT.
In the past, when students rioted against the Vietnam war, or when blacks rioted instead of peacefully protested, the white riot followed. The White Riot is what white people do. The White Riot takes place at the voting booth and mostly in “swing” states that determine elections. Decent white people don’t much care for marching in streets or protesting because they are too busy with family and work – they elect officials to do the job instead.
The White Riot is already here. When a suburban woman sees cops kneeling or stores looted or homes burned – the reaction is to stay quiet, sometimes even to mumble some sort of agreement. But deep inside there is rage and anger at the failure of leadership when elected officials bow down or lay prostrate before thugs such as Black Lives Matter. So normal white people stay quiet and calm then they riot at the ballot box in November. That’s what is going to happen – with a twist – this November.
The twist to the White Riot in November is this: a whole lot of the White Riot will be composed of black people.
Black people are the most vulnerable to crime. White people distant from the Obama Dimocrat cities – the ones that determine election winners – see the crime and understand that the fire next time is coming for them. So the normal whites that President Trump and the GOP need to take over the House of Representatives are ready to riot – aided by many blacks who want to be able to call the police when trouble arrives.
Neither normal white people nor normal black people want to DEFUND THE POLICE.
Joe Biden will be asked about his support for DEFUND THE POLICE. If Biden says “no” the crazy leftists he must win will say “no” to him at voting time. The best economic good news ever for America, President Trump and the GOP will arrive one month before the elections when the economic numbers are released.
Let’s simply point out the obvious. Let’s look at the numbers. Chinese CoronaVirus started hurting the American economy around February/March. The stock market dropped dramatically. The stock market is a leading indicator of economic activity. When the market dropped dramatically the American economy and world economies collapsed.
The world economies collapsed alongside the American economy.
Fortunately, President Trump put policies in place which made the American economy the strongest ever. So the American economy collapsed but it was from a position of strength.
Now we see the V shaped recovery. Can you see it? Big Media is trying to ignore the V shaped recovery. Financial networks declare the V shaped recovery with a question mark and wonder if it will every come. But the V shaped recovery is already here. Want proof? Look at the numbers.
The stock market was over 29,000 when it collapsed. Then the stock market collapsed into the 18000 range. Now, in late May of the second quarter with June still to come as the last month of the second quarter, the stock market is above 25,000. Draw that as a graph.
Up 29. Down to 18. Back up to 25. That’s a V shape.

Furman’s case begins with the premise that the 2020 pandemic-triggered economic collapse is categorically different than the Great Depression or the Great Recession, which both had slow, grinding recoveries.
Instead, he believes, the way to think about the current economic drop-off, at least in the first two phases, is more like what happens to a thriving economy during and after a natural disaster: a quick and steep decline in economic activity followed by a quick and steep rebound.
The Covid-19 recession started with a sudden shuttering of many businesses, a nationwide decline in consumption and massive increase in unemployment. But starting around April 15, when economic reopening started to spread but the overall numbers still looked grim, Furman noticed some data that pointed to the kind of recovery that economists often see after a hurricane or industrywide catastrophe like the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Consumption and hiring started to tick up “in gross terms, not in net terms,” Furman said, describing the phenomenon as a “partial rebound.” The bounce back “can be very very fast, because people go back to their original job, they get called back from furlough, you put the lights back on in your business. Given how many people were furloughed and how many businesses were closed you can get a big jump out of that. It will look like a V.”
Don’t use the future tense. Its is a V shaped recovery. In the wake of Memorial Day we recall Winston Churchill and his “V” for victory finger sign.
For President Trump the campaign message is now MAGAA.
Reports “Birx said ‘there is nothing from the CDC that I can trust‘ in a White House coronavirus task force meeting” are but part of the truth oozing out into the political mainstream. As Springtime bursts forth throughout the land the Truth is equally bursting out all over the place. This is especially true as it applies to General Flynn.
According to the reports, “Birx and others reportedly feared that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was using inflated data on coronavirus death and case rates.” The “CDC’s statistics on mortality rate and case counts were inflated by up to 25%”. These discussions are being used to attack Birx but all they manage to do is finally open up the debate as to the real numbers regarding Chinese CoronaVirus.
This is not a straightforward battle between a pro-human and a pro-economy camp.
The columnist Amy Z. Quinn says the Trump administration is “choosing money over lives.” In a CNN news analysis, Daniel Burke offers this characterization of America’s choice: “Should we reopen the economy to help the majority or protect the lives of the vulnerable?”
Denunciations of that sort cast the lockdown debate as a straightforward battle between a pro-human and a pro-economy camp. But the actual trade-offs are not straightforward. Set aside “flattening the curve,” which will continue to make sense. Are ongoing, onerous shutdowns warranted beyond what is necessary to avoid overwhelming ambulances, hospitals, and morgues? [snip]
Ongoing closures and supply-chain interruptions in wealthier countries could have catastrophic ripple effects, Michael T. Klare warns in The Nation, highlighting the possibility that global starvation could soar. “Even where supply chains remain intact, many poor countries lack the funds to pay for imported food,” he explained. “A prolonged depression will stunt lives as surely as any viral epidemic, and its toll will not be confined to the elderly,” Heather Mac Donald argues at Spectator USA. “The shuttering of auto manufacturing plants led to an 85 percent increase in opioid overdose deaths in the surrounding counties over seven years, according to a recent study.” [snip]
At Arc Digital, Esther O’Reilly asks, “Why should we assume that a crashing economy would leave the healthcare system standing?” Fleshing out the matter, she writes, “You can’t keep the hospital lights on without keeping on the lights of the economic sectors undergirding it. Yes, our doctors and nurses are running out of masks and gloves, which is a serious problem. It would also be a serious problem if we lost the means and the manpower to make more, or if the hospitals ran out of cash on hand to buy more beds, ventilators, etc. And there’s the rub. We are being told we can’t fight the virus without pausing the economy, yet we can’t fight the virus without the economy.”
School closures may do long-term damage, as well. A recent study in The Lancetconcluded that “the evidence for the effectiveness of school closures and other school social distancing measures comes almost entirely from influenza outbreaks,” and that the effectiveness of school measures in a coronavirus outbreak is uncertain. Another article in The Lancetnoted that “education is one of the strongest predictors of the health and the wealth of a country’s future workers, and the impact of long-term school closure on educational outcomes, future earnings, the health of young people, and future national productivity has not been quantified.” A given closure could add months to the lives of some and subtract from the lives of others.
The general point is that minimizing the number of COVID-19 deaths today or a month from now or six months from now may or may not minimize the human costs of the pandemic when the full spectrum of human consequences is considered. The last global depression created conditions for a catastrophic world war that killed roughly 75 to 80 million people. Is that a possibility? The downside risks and costs of every approach are real, frightening, and depressing, no matter how little one thinks of reopening now.

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz on Friday slammed what he called a “failure of our Republican leadership” in the Russia collusion investigation, also singling out former South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy for his claims that the F.B.I. behaved appropriately in its early investigations of the alleged plot. [snip]
Appearing on the show shortly after Gowdy, Gaetz sarcastically referred to “Trey Gowdy’s exquisite questions in 2017 to these corrupt officials.”
“Why was it then that in late May of 2018 that Trey Gowdy went on Martha MacCallum’s show and said that the F.B.I. did exactly what all of our fellow Americans would have wanted them to do and it had nothing to do with Donald Trump?” Gaetz said.
“Both of those things have now been proven to be not true and it seems that Gowdy’s brilliant lawyering back in 2017 that we’re only able to see now proves those two statements untrue,” he added.
Gaetz last night posted to his Twitter account the 2018 remarks to which he was referring, in which Gowdy claimed that the F.B.I. in the course of the investigation “did exactly what [Americans] would want them to do when they got the information they got, and that it has nothing to do with Donald Trump.”
“Given all we’ve learned, this is hard to understand,” Gaetz remarked on the video.
On Hannity, Gaetz also criticized Republican leadership for allegedly hamstringing G.O.P. efforts to supervise the investigation.
“Unfortunately when [Rep. Devin] Nunes and [Rep. Mark] Meadows and [Rep. Jim] Jordan and I wanted subpoena power it was Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy that wouldn’t give us that subpoena power. Democrats sent out hundreds of subpoenas,” he said.
“When he had control and could have run this to ground in 2017, we didn’t send out one single subpoena, not one,” he said, calling that decision “a failure of our Republican leadership.”
Hannity can’t wait to rush Gaetz off as Hannity blames “mistakes” not calculation for why Republicans did nothing to stop the attempted coup against President Trump. Perhaps Hannity is afraid that Gaetz will mention the fact that Paul Ryan is in the Board of Directors of Fox News? Perhaps Hannity did not want to have Trey Gowdy attacked as he is paid by Fox News to bloviate? Both? Worse?
As Tucker Carlson notes above, Republicans controlled both houses of congress when the Russia nonsense began. Republicans knew the lies of the investigators against Trump from the outset. Yet, the GOP congress did not do their job and protect the country.
On two big recent issues the American people have been lied to by their leaders. The big lie of Russian collusion was designed by Obama Dimocrats to remove the President the American people elected. Both Obama Dimocrats and the RINO GOP leadership did nothing to protect the will of the people. On the Chinese CoronaVirus the lies have been massive and continue to be massive.
Lindsey Graham talks a lot and will have more useless hearings next week. Gowdy will collect paychecks. McConnell functions when it is something he himself wants but does nothing to move the country forward or protect the citizens and our democracy. When President Trump is reelected this November he will remember.
Update: Flim-flam man Barack bottom Obama endorsed, via video, Sleepy Joe today. Poor Sleepy Joe. Biden could have used Obama’s endorsement a year ago and thereby avoided the crippling primary humiliations he has endured. But Obama did not want Sleepy Joe to be the nominee because Obama thinks only of himself.
Obama knows that Biden will lose the election to President Donald J. Trump. Obama also knows that a defeat of Biden is a defeat by proxy of Obama himself. Obama is already diminished because he could not get a member of his party to follow him into the White House. To have another Dim candidate lose to President Trump will be devastation to the frail ego of weakling Obama.
Because Biden is the last candidate left, Obama had to endorse Sleepy Joe. But even with the endorsement Obama slapped down Sleepy Joe.
Obama could have waited several more months in addition to the many months already gone before endorsing Sleepy Joe. But Obama knew that Sleepy Joe wanted a grand endorsement at a grand convention which would get a grand reception by Big Media. So Obama denied Sleepy Joe even this. Obama endorsed Sleepy Joe at a time few are interested or watching the Dim nomination process. So Sleepy Joe is denied the grand endorsement event at the convention and must be content with a long tedious video few will watch – because we’re all watching the great President Donald J. Trump lead the nation as never before.

Lorraine’s tweet referred to what Fauci said during an interview with Jake Tapper on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday morning – comments that quickly went straight to the top of the daily news cycle on Easter Sunday, including a banner red headline for most of the day at the top of the Drudge Report, and trended on social media.
In his live interview with Tapper, Fauci appeared to throw cold water on the president’s intention to reopen the country to normal activity as quickly as possible. From CNN’s program transcript:
TAPPER: Based on what you know right now, when do you think the country will be ready to take some of these steps to reopen, based on the availability of testing? When do you see that happening?
FAUCI: You know, Jake, that’s a great question.
And that’s really what I was inferring when I said a rolling reentry. It is not going to be a light switch that we say, OK, it is now June, July or whatever, click, the light switch goes back on.
As the interview progressed, Fauci continued to dismiss a fast-track return to pre-Covid-19 “normal.”

FAUCI: You know, Jake, again, it’s the what would have, what could have.

Yesterday, Dr. Deborah Birx finally let the secret out during the daily press conference in response to a reporter’s question. “I think in this country, we’ve taken a very liberal approach to mortality,” said Dr. Birx, who along with Dr. Anthony Fauci has become the face of this push for a national lockdown.
“There are other countries that if you had a pre-existing condition, and let’s say the virus caused you to go to the ICU [intensive care unit] and then have a heart or kidney problem. Some countries are recording that as a heart issue or a kidney issue and not a COVID-19 death.”
“The intent is if someone dies with COVID-19, we are counting that as a COVID-19 death,” concluded Birx.
The CDC Confesses to Lying About COVID-19 Death Numbers
Can any government statistics on COVID-19 deaths be trusted?
It is an open question now that we are learning that the highly respected, world-class Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been lying to us. [snip]
The normal rules about reporting deaths have been violated by that city in the rush to inflate the body count, presumably to steer more taxpayer money to the Big Apple.
That the CDC isn’t telling the truth to Americans is no conspiracy theory: it’s right out there in the open for everyone to see. The CDC openly admits that it is fudging the COVID-19 death figures.
We know this because, among other truth-tellers, a plainspoken small-town physician from Kalispell, Montana, has pulled back the curtain.

The CDC counts both true COVID-19 cases and speculative guesses of COVID-19 the same. They call it death by COVID-19. They automatically overestimate the real death numbers, by their own admission.
The numbers are lies. “Garbage in, Garbage out”, used to be an axiom in the computer programming world. Today it is Garbage out because Garbage in. Someone we thought we would never cite positively, had some smart things to say which comport with our analysis about how Chinese CoronaVirus is a rather cheap imitation of a pandemic:
This morning they revised their number of projected deaths to 60,000. That is a reduction of 90% from the 2.2 million number. But what else? Does the number 60,000 — 60,000 deaths — does that resonate with any of you? Does the number 60,000 mean anything to you?
Well, let me tell you what it is: 60,000 is the number of deaths due to the flu every year in this country. It’s between 30,000 and 60,000. So the very projections from the modelers who have given us our current circumstances, including the lockdown have now reduced their original projection of 2.2 million down to 60,000. That’s a reduction of 90%. Do you realize how worthless a model is you can input different data and get that wide a variance? [snip]
In fact, ladies and gentlemen, that 60,000 flu death number was 80,000 in 2018. [snip]

It’s a key word here. “If someone dies with COVID-19, we are counting it as a COVID-19 death.” “With COVID-19” does not mean the same thing as “because of.” If you have coronary heart failure, if you have a heart attack, if you have renal failure, kidney failure, and you also have — if they find that you’ve got — COVID-19, to heck with your heart disease, to heck with your kidney disease, they’re chalking it up as a COVID-19 death.
So it may well be that the number of COVID-19 deaths isn’t as high as we’re being told. But it’s obvious there are people who want it to be reported as high because they think that’ll help them with their mitigation efforts, keeping people sequestered and socially distanced and all of that. [snip]
“According to the most recent data from the [CDC], almost two-thirds (65.6%) of the people who have died after testing positive for coronavirus have been confirmed to have one of those specified underlying conditions,” diabetes, heart disease, obesity, kidney problems, liver problems, “while just 1.9% of the people who died after testing positive were confirmed to have ‘no underlying conditions.’”
Only 1.9% of the people that died in New York City were confirmed to have no underlying conditions. That’s huge! So people that have these underlying conditions obviously need to stay home. But we’re getting to the point, I would think, where we could begin to think about turning the rest of us loose — people that don’t have any underlying health conditions. [snip]
Pneumonia. Pneumonia deaths are way down. And that’s one of the things this virus supposedly replicates. It affects lungs like pneumonia. You know, pneumonia is a lung infection. A lot of people think pneumonia is fluid in the lungs. It’s not true. It’s an infection of the lungs. And the coronavirus causes something similar.
But the death rates for pneumonia are way down ’cause everything is being chalked up to COVID-19. They want the number of deaths up there. That’s the only way they can justify what the hell limits they’re putting on everybody here.
As the year began, Big Media did not think much of Chinese CoronaVirus. Big Media wanted to protect China. Obama Dimocrats like Nancy Pelousy and New York City officials insisted Chinese CoronaVirus was nothing and that citizens of America should go to various Chinatown neighborhoods to prove they were not racist. This is an inherently unstable political environment. As Mead points out, “Populism arises when establishment leadership fails.”
Amid a global pandemic, he’s being accused—on this site and elsewhere—of alienating allies, undercutting multinational cooperation, and causing America to fight the coronavirus alone.
And yet even as the current emergency has proved him right in fundamental ways—about China specifically and foreign policy more generally—many respectable people in the United States are letting their disdain for the president blind them to what is really going on in the world. Far from discrediting Trump’s point of view, the COVID-19 crisis reveals what his strategy asserted: that the world is a competitive arena in which great power rivals like China seek advantage, that the state remains the irreplaceable agent of international power and effective action, that international institutions have limited capacity to transform the behavior and preferences of states.
China, America’s most powerful rival, has played a particularly harmful role in the current crisis, which began on its soil. [snip] “They didn’t tell us the truth,” one team member said of the local authorities, “and from what we now know of the real situation then, they were lying” to us.
Now China’s propagandists are competing to create a narrative that obscures the origins of the crisis and that blames the United States for the virus. This irresponsible behavior and lack of transparency revealed what Trump’s National Security Strategy had identified early on: that “contrary to our hopes, China expanded its power at the expense of others.” Instead of becoming a “responsible stakeholder”—a term George W. Bush’s administration used to describe the role it hoped Beijing would play following China’s entry into the World Trade Organization in 2001—the Chinese Communist Party used the advantages of WTO membership to advance a political and economic system at odds with America’s free and open society.
But at some point, an American administration needed to shift the conversation away from hopes for an imagined future China to the realities of the Communist Party’s conduct—which is hardly a secret. [snip]
Trump’s emphasis on protecting U.S. sovereignty brought to a boil a simmering national debate about the overlooked costs of globalization. A blind adherence to what the economist Dani Rodrik has called “hyper-globalization”—the idea that the interests of big corporations and the principle of market integration took precedence over widely shared prosperity and economic security—had come at the expense of domestic industries. For years, people who complained about these consequences were dismissed as isolationists or as being on “the wrong side of history.” [snip]
Many of President Trump’s critics in the foreign-policy community put great stock in the ability of multilateral and international organizations to constrain the misbehavior of China and other states. These organizations, at their best, promote concerted action against commonly recognized problems. But Trump’s critics tend to view them mainly in their idealized form and as the central instruments to solve global problems and advance values shared by all. In practice, though, how international organizations perform is profoundly influenced by power relationships among member states.

The Democratic National Committee is postponing the party’s presidential nominating convention in Milwaukee to Aug. 17, the week before the Republican Party’s convention.
The delay from July 13 came after likely nominee Joe Biden publicly called for the convention to be rescheduled in response to the coronavirus pandemic. [snip]
In addition to postponing, DNC officials are discussing ways to scale back the convention. The committee is not flush with cash and wants to avoid the appearance of throwing a big party in the midst of a severe economic downturn. [snip]

Also, even if the U.S. economy is in recession, it is still the strongest economy in the world. In the kingdom of the blind the one eyed man is king. The U.S. might only have one eye but the rest of the world economies are blind.
Next on the plate for Obama Dimocrats was an attempt to blame President Trump for the response to the crisis. But President Trump has been so active, so productive, has received so much praise, the Obama Dims realized Presidential Leadership is the issue this election and President Trump is a leader whom even Dims have praised. Some are fools, some are full of themselves and think they have the answers, some are smart and know they don’t have all the answers, and the smartest rely on the information from the person with the problem and tailor their response to the input received. A doctor should trust the patient and then the patient may trust the doctor. “Trust, but verify”is not only good advice in politics. “Trust, but verify” is smart generally.
Consider the CoronaVirus hysteria. Some “experts” are to be trusted, some “experts” are to be ignored, some “experts” are to be consulted but not obeyed, and some “experts” make fools of themselves so obviously they resemble most the court jester entertaining the king.

The coronavirus may not be as deadly as original estimates predicted, according to a new study published on Monday.
The study, published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases medical journal, says previous estimates were too high because they were based on the case fatality rate (CFR) and didn’t account for undiagnosed cases.
The study estimates that the mortality rate of the coronavirus is actually .66 percent.
Earlier this month, Dr. Anthony Fauci estimated that the mortality rate of the coronavirus was about 2 percent. “If you look at the cases that have come to the attention of the medical authorities in China, and you just do the math, the math is about 2%.” The World Health Organization estimated a 3.4 percent mortality rate. President Trump endured a lot of criticism for saying that he had a “hunch” that the WHO’s estimate was too high.
“Well, I think the 3.4 percent is really a false number. Now, and this is just my hunch, and — but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this. Because a lot people will have this and it’s very mild. They’ll get better very rapidly. They don’t even see a doctor. They don’t even call a doctor,” Trump said. “I think that that number is very high. I think the number, personally, I would say the number is way under 1 percent.”
That would make Trump’s “hunch” correct.

Because the Obama Dimocrats wanted the inefficient state bureaucracies to distribute the check payments the timetable had to be delayed. Originally President Trump wanted Easter as a time of resurrection to be an inspiration. At the same time President Trump wanted the financial checks to arrive in mailboxes in order to boost the economy with a bang.
With the passage of the Obama Dimocrat demand that checks be sent by state bureaucracies there was additional time. At the point the President allowed the timetable to move to a later day.
At some point the country will reopen to business. At the same time trillions of dollars from the legislation President Trump signed will pour into the economy as people purchase needed supplies or pay off bills. There will be a virtuous circle of spending and a flood of money into the economy. The goal is to end the economic paralysis with a dynamic bang.
At the same time the President can let the “experts” play with themselves. The Obama Dimocrats already want to investigate President Trump yet again. The goal supposedly will be to uncover how President Trump ignored Fauci and the “expert” cohort. As if.
President Trump gave the “experts” too much deference in an effort to unite the country. President Trump did not want to be divisive during a trying time for all. The Obama Dimocrats only wanted division so President Trump denied them.

Cuomo wonders if coronavirus quarantine may have backfired in some cases
Sweeping statewide quarantine orders may not have been the most effective strategy to combat the coronavirus, Gov. Andrew Cuomo conceded on Thursday, as he weighed plans to restart the economy.
“We closed everything down. That was our public health strategy,” said Cuomo during an Albany press briefing. “If you re-thought that or had time to analyze that public health strategy, I don’t know that you would say ‘Quarantine everyone.’”
It’s the third day in a row that Cuomo has publicly mused about quarantines and how best to eventually restart the Empire State’s shattered economy.
But Wednesday, Cuomo’s answer during an hour-long news conference about quarantines — which are backed by city and state health officials — took a new turn as he speculated it might have spread the disease.
“I don’t even know that that was the best public health policy. Young people then quarantined with older people, [it] was probably not the best public health strategy,” he said. “The younger people could have been exposing the older people to an infection.”
Cuomo’s office said the governor was referencing a study by a Yale professor, who wrote a column that appeared in the opinion section of the New York Times last week.
They pointed The Post to nearly identical comments Cuomo made about the topic during a press conference Monday, when he explicitly named the piece’s author, Dr. David Katz.
“There’s a theory of risk stratification that Dr. Katz who’s at Yale University is working on, which is actually very interesting to me,” Cuomo told reporters then. “Isolate people but really isolate the vulnerable people. Don’t isolate everyone because some people, most people, are not vulnerable to it.”
He added: “And if you isolate all people, you may be actually exposing the more vulnerable people by bringing in a person who is healthier and stronger and who may have been exposed to the virus, right.”

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs literally threatened all doctors and pharmacists in the state who prescribe or dispense hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.
The agency’s March 24 letter warns physicians and pharmacists of professional consequences for the prescribing of hydroxychloroquine (and chloroquine). [snip]
The letter also instructs pharmacists to ignore physician orders for this medication. Due to the debate over a pharmacist’s right to refuse to fill medications that go against their religious beliefs, this could place pharmacists in the unprecedented position of being told that they must fill prescriptions that violate their “conscience (religious belief)” but must not fill prescriptions to treat COVID-19.
Even worse, the letter indicates health care providers are “required to report” their fellow physicians who are prescribing these medications. This draconian measure carries ominous Gestapo-like overtones of neighbor reporting neighbor to “authorities.” [snip]
What makes this directive more of a head-scratcher is that the same day the state issued its threatening nastygram to Michigan’s health care providers, Whitmer’s counterpart in New York started clinical trials of the very same drugs. [snip]
The implications of Whitmer and her administration’s knee-jerk scare tactics should terrify all Michigan residents. Not only is our state’s top leader threatening the selfless health care workers who are on the frontline trying to save lives, but she’s denying possible life-saving medications to actual COVID-19 victims.
The swamp plague intends to deny President Trump re-election even if that means killing off pesky voters who support President Trump – which increasingly is a bigger and bigger slice of the electoral pie.
Thing is, countries can’t idle their economies and borrow forever. They simply can’t afford to. At some point — as Donald Trump argued this week — the cure risks becoming worse than the disease. At least in economic terms.
No one knows when Germany will reach the point of having to decide between its economic survival and the lives of those most susceptible to coronavirus. Chances are that Merkel will have to make such a call in the coming weeks, however.
In Europe, it’s up to each individual country to decide if and when to stop listening to the epidemiologists and public health officials arguing for extended lockdowns to “flatten the curve” of the infected. Yet given Merkel’s political influence and the importance of Germany’s economy to the rest of Europe, many are likely to follow her lead.
The German chancellor will likely face an equally tough — if less fraught in moral terms — choice on Europe in the coming weeks.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro once again blasted the global “hysteria” over the Chinese coronavirus in a public address Tuesday, urging his people to get back to normal life and work as soon as they possibly can.
In an address to the nation, Bolsonaro called on local authorities such as mayors and state governors to start rolling back lockdown measures that have shut down schools and brought many of the country’s big cities to complete standstill.
“Our lives have to go on. Jobs must be kept … we must, yes, get back to normal,” Bolsonaro said. “A small number of state and municipal authorities must abandon their scorched-earth ideas: the banning of public transport, the closing of commerce, and mass confinement.”

President Trump is embraced by the American People and that drives the totalitarian leftists madder than ever as the polls rise for the great President. The totalitarian leftists want their “it’s over for Trump” hallucinations to come true but the opposite is true so instead they call for some sort of gulag archipelago of resistance akin to the strategy of isolated Japanese Imperial Army soldiers who thought somehow if they resisted in their isolated islands they would somehow stop the inevitable American victory. Unwaveringly convinced that the president and his party are inept, corrupt, ignorant, and brutally callous, they have written and published article after article under headlines like, “This is the end of the Trump presidency.”
We saw this when Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. It happened again in the months surrounding the midterm elections, when Republicans took a big hit in Congress and lost control of the House. The headlines reappeared repeatedly before and during Trump’s impeachment trial and subsequent acquittal. And we’ve seen it in the midst of a global pandemic, the seriousness of which the president at first dismissed, then grudgingly conceded, and now seems eager to deny once again, this time in the name of “restarting the economy.”
Over and over again, those who report on and analyze politics at close range have documented the president’s lies, exposed his schemes to enrich himself, taken note of his errors and their consequences, and highlighted his incompetence and cruelty — and at every step of the way they have assumed this would make a political difference. But it hasn’t.
Maybe it’s time to recognize that it won’t. [snip]
