President Trump, Don’t Listen To Tucker Carlson Or Sean Hannity

Tucker Carlson is a smart guy who belongs to the Anne Coulter school of hysterics. Tucker and Coulter are constantly in the whine cellar shouting idiocies such as “If President Trump does not do _________ he will lose.” Then Trump wins having ignored the idiot advice from Tucker Coulter. Sean Hannity is just a weakling who constantly spills whine about his mother being a prison guard and how he studies martial arts as he wears pins from the F.B.I. and other corrupt forces of the Deep State. Hannity does not want to fight however.

With Coulter the issue is illegal immigration and if President Trump does not obey Coulter on immediately doing everything she wants the way she wants it then “President Trump will lose.” Coulter’s sole variant is how she constantly openly attacks President Trump and declares she won’t vote for him.

Tucker Carlson recently hosted a dishonest discussion with Jeff Sessions and bemoaned the fact that Jeff Sessions was so good on immigration issues but people were disloyal to him. Dishonestly left unmentioned was the fact that it is President Trump leading the charge against Jeff Sessions because Jeff Sessions abandoned his position as Attorney General and let the Deep State run rampant to attack President Trump for years at the DOJ and FBI:

“Alabama needs to send a very strong voice to Washington,” Sessions added. “We need to send somebody who can stand up and take the heat, who is not afraid, and I’ve done that. They don’t have anything on me. I’m not worried about him one bit, and that even includes my friends in the Republican conference, and we need to fight. This country is at risk. Law enforcement, as you just talked about, is one of the worst situations ever. It cannot be that we allow law enforcement to be denigrated the way it is today.”

Tucker Carlson was very dishonest in his interview with Jeff Sessions. Unmentioned was how Sessions alongside Conservative Treehouse loon Sundunce and the Q-Anon filth declared “Trust Sessions”. These liars called President Trump a liar that was immersed in a plot alongside Jeff Sessions and that it was all a pretend game to somehow net a bunch of Deep State conspirators. Now that President Trump is in direct and strong opposition to Sessions’ Senate primary hopes the Q-Anon filth continue to propagandize that President Trump is still working with Jeff Sessions.

Jeff Sessions is right about one thing: “We need to send somebody who can stand up and take the heat, who is not afraid…” When Jeff Sessions had the opportunity to “stand up and take the heat” Jeff Sessions faded from the heat and stood down. Dishonestly, Tucker Carlson did not mention any of these facts to his audience. Tucker Carlson did not mention that it is President Trump and supporters of President Trump who want to remove Jeff Sessions.

Sean Hannity is a different sort. He brags about how tough he is but then he excuses the FBI and other malefactors. Hannity wears pins of these corrupt organizations to display solidarity with them. Hannity’s argument is that the leadership of these corrupt organizations are the problem but that otherwise everyone else is a-ok. But Hannity provides no proof of this silly contention.

If Hannity was correct and the agents of the FBI and other corrupt organizations are good, that the problem is only the leadership, then where is the proof?? If Hannity was or is correct, dozens or even hundreds, thousands, of FBI agents would have taken action against the corrupt leadership. But no agents stood up and denounced Comey or Sessions or the “lovers”. Where were the good guys Hannity? Where?

Our biggest beef with Sean Hannity, boy weakling, is how thoroughly weak he is. How weak is Sean Hannity? Via NPR, let’s look at a major story of this week and how the totalitarian left strongly exercises power:

#Goyaway: Calls To Boycott Goya Foods After CEO Praises President Trump

Twitter users are calling for a boycott of Goya Foods, a brand most known for its Hispanic-staple food offerings, after the CEO of the company lavished praise on President Trump during a Thursday visit to the White House.

Robert Unanue, chief executive of the family-owned operation since 2004, said the country was “blessed” to have Trump at the helm, during remarks following a roundtable with Hispanic business and political leaders from across the country.

“We’re all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump, who is a builder,” Unanue said during the Rose Garden speech.

“We have an incredible builder. And we pray. We pray for our leadership, our president, and we pray for our country — that we will continue to prosper and to grow.”

Unanue also announced a plan, along with some partners, to donate 1 million cans of Goya chickpeas and 1 million pounds of food to food banks.

The left constantly targets Sean Hannity with boycotts. Sean Hannity is personally afraid of boycotts. That must be why Sean Hannity tells his viewers he does not support boycotts. How deep is the stupid with this position? The left targets businesses but Trump supporters are told boycotts are bad. Here’s a clue for Sean Hannity: Trump supporters should boycott as many companies as possible when those companies support the totalitarian left.

What should Trump supporters do? First, get out of the whine cellar. Stop whining. Stop pouring whine. Do.

When you see something on Big Media that angers you, throw a dollar in a Trump jar. Instead of moping and grousing and whining – donate. You might bankrupt yourself if you donate every time Big Media lies, but commit to donate as much as you can periodically to the President Trump campaign. Don’t give to anyone else. President Trump is what matters and all candidates will win or lose depending on how big President Trump wins. Don’t whine.

Boycott. If you hate this website, boycott us. If the NFL playing the “black national anthem” alongside the Star Spangled Banner except that the scum millionaires “take a knee” when the national anthem is played and that angers you – DON’T WHINE – BOYCOTT.

If you watch NFL games but are angry at the NFL for its insults against President Trump, Trump supporters, America, freedom and liberty, THEN YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

If you have to buy from totalitarian leftists like Amazon do what the leftists do when they buy “carbon waivers” for the fake climate change crazy – donate to the President Trump campaign as an amends.

Above all, don’t whine. President Trump fights and it is important to fight alongside him.

President Trump and President Trump supporters should take what Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity prescribe with cartons full of salt. Their interests are in ratings and hysteria that drives ratings.

President Trump knows that he is doing. The Tucker Coulter and Sean Insanities scream and shout but President Trump knows this election once again is like none other. Ordinarily a campaign starts with soft biographies of the candidate, moves on to vicious attacks against the opponent, then in the final week or two moves back to soft, glossy, sweetness about the candidate just before the election. This election year however will be a hate-fest against President Trump and we trust his instincts on when to do what.

Reject Ann Coulterism and weakness from the likes of Hannity (Steve Hilton is beyond idiot and should go back to socialist Britain with his stupidities). Lou Dobbs of Fox Business and One America News know what they are talking about.

This election year is a fight. The best fighter is President Trump.

  1. the midst of the madness, there are some flashes of hope that not everyone has gone out of their mind. Ford employees whipped out the box of Crayolas and dashed this garbage off to the C-Suite:

…”Throughout history, the vehicles that Ford employees design and build have been used as accessories to police brutality and oppression… We know that while many join, support or supply law enforcement with good intentions, these racist policing practices that plague our society are historic and systemic — a history and system perpetuated by Ford for over 70 years — ever since Ford introduced the first-ever police package in 1950. As an undeniable part of that history and system, we are long overdue to “think and act differently” on our role in racism.”
Ford CEO Jim Hackett has a strong response:

“By taking away our Police Interceptors, we would be doing harm to their safety and making it harder for them to do their job. Again, this is why, given our insights, new capabilities and leadership, I believe these unfortunate circumstances present Ford with an even greater opportunity to not only innovate new solutions but also leverage our unique position to support the dialogue and reform needed to create safer communities for all.”

Shorter version: No. We’re not going to stop making police cars. Now get back to work…

While this is certainly a positive sign, it’s fair to assume it’s an outlier and not a bellwether. How long before the stockholders demand his resignation? Or worse, those who run the banks, investment firms or suppliers who are also the products of an American university education refuse to do business with Ford until Hackett knuckles under or is forced out? Well, for now, let’s celebrate the victory, no matter how small or perhaps isolated it may be.

  6. I agree 100% re Coulter. I always thought Hannity was a self promoter making $$$$(see his latest book being hawked every night) and the stuff lately about the martial arts is downright embarrassing. Carlson, as I have long posted, was never someone I listened to and thought was a never Trumper. I was, however, somewhat impressed lately by his fierce anti-antifa stuff as he seemed to be the only one not afraid of the TV ad drops/threats. Then I watched the Sessions interview and it was like the 800 lb gorilla in the room knowing Trump does not support this swamp creature who caused a lot of this crap to happen by stupidly recusing himself. I guess in the end I hope win or lose, Trump fights for what we believe even if we are a minority know…I guess we will find out soon enough.

  7. Geez Rush didn’t seem very positive saying proceed as if the polls are correct, something about being disappointed in what comes out of the Durham investigation (no surprise there unfortunately)
    Rush is usually very positive…

  8. I think the masks are very depressing to everyone, no matter how you fight it, the insanity lingers because this is the full court press and they are not going to let up they will destroy everything America to get their way and get the “real” power back..
No one knew how Deep this Deep State was I don’t belt but the evil of Sorsos and his like.
FDA, Deep State? WHO Deep State? WTF? Military gone Deep State?
Young people willing and happy to knock out 80-90 year olds?
    WTF
And people blame Trump and will vote for Biden? Double WTF

  9. “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark [“BLM”], or the name of the beast [Soros], or the number [666 or 1619] of his name.”

  10. I just went to the store and bought a bunch of Goya products

Buy some of their products anyway

    Good stuff

  11. If Rush is worried, I am concerned and I have never really listened to him. He seems to have the ear of the GOP voters.

  12. Jb….did (do) you read what Admin posts at all??

QUIT WHINING. Take $25 of your oft mentioned million and donate.

  13. Lol Outris

    But I obviously get JB

Rush is usually extremely optimistic, sometimes cancer can really mess your head up.
I can’t explain this, I don’t know if other diagnoses work on your head the same way, but cancer messes you up, at least being diagnosed in the later stages does, like Rush, stage 4. You think about it everyday, you can’t get your head into thinking positively about the future.
But with time you can claim your life back, little by little, one day at a time and before you know it something called hope sneaks in if your lucky…
Real hope, not Obama BS hope. but real sweat and tears hope…

  14. Jesus

Chorus Christie has turned down A permit for Trump to hold his rally there tomorrow

They are cutting off all his communication avenues

Guess we will all have to go to South Dakota…

    Damn

    This is ridiculous

  15. My wife has battled Stage 3 breast cancer for the past year and thankfully has recovered but it been a very tough year for her. One thing that kept her going was she wanted to be there to vote for Trump again.

Puts things into perspective a bit.

That was my diagnosis, stage 3 breast cancer and I am here 4 years later, tell her it gets easier, she’s right, and she is so lucky to have you for support…

    Fight fight fight the bastards…

  17. Outris

I don’t mean to say it ever gets easy, but I think she will know what I mean.
There’s always reminders, but time does heal, you understand importance of things I guess, but as time goes, you do think of it less and begin to fly again…

Tell her happy flying for me…

Gonzo, beautifully written kind words you passed on to Outris. And yes, she is so lucky to have her for for support.

Big hugs and best wishes to all for a continuing swift recovery!

Happy flying and ring that bell flying high!

    ..

  19. I just donated to Trump, first time since the 2016 election

It’s time to put my money where my mouth is

  20. I also bought several Goya products today

I also called Chick-Fil-A and told them why I would never buy their products again after being a great customer

They used us and lied and then through their supporters to the pavement.

And I’m not washing any black persons feet, unless they are a patient in the hospital and can’t do for themselves… which I have

  21. Admin: I contribute to the Trump campaign. I boycott business that support BLM and Antifa, including the NFL, Chic a Fillet, WalMart etc. There needs to be a list of other companies, so I can boycott them as well. And I support my friend Lou Dobbs, who got his start in the profession in my hometown of Seattle, I saw at a town hall few years ago, and stands strong. for Trump. Ditto with Dan Bongino. The soft ball interview Tucker did with the Sessions. He talks about the need for bold conservatives, but he lost his nerve, and betrayed Trump when the chips were down. On the other hand, Tucker is excellent when he is criticizing the left, and the RINOs, and he is a canary in the coal mine in his warnings about their stranglehold over our institutions which most Americans are ignorant of. Also, he showcases many conservative voices that corporate media seeks ignore. I have indicated too often what I consider to be great journalists, and I put Kim Strassel at the head of that list and Laura Logan impresses me as well. And then there is John Solomon who is the best investigative reporter in the business. Rove is not worth watching.

He is deranged. He has a foot fetish. But worse than that, he terminated their corporate support to the Salvation Army, the only reputable charity in the business, and gave those contributions to Morris Dees and his hate group The Southern Poverty institute. That was a cardinal sin.

  23. It would be good politics to pardon Flynn now. The three judge panel ordered that action, and that is enough. I did not expect that the court of appeals would set aside the law, the wishes of the parties, and the decision of their own circuit. They have shown themselves to be nothing more than political hacks, which the Trump campaign can use to its advantage. The guy who saw this coming was Shipwreck Crew at Red State, who is a very scholarly lawyer. Speaking of scholarly, we have not heard from Canadian Hegemony lately. His input is always superb and on point.

    That is impressive.

  25. https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/07/10/elissa-slotkin-congress-trump-351513

Elissa Slotkin Is Sounding the Alarm. Will Democrats Listen?
She helped win Congress for the Democrats in 2018. Now she has a warning for her party.[snip]

Rather than rely on outside assessments, she bases every maneuver, every tactical decision, on what she’s seeing and hearing for herself. That means dismissing advice from the national party. That means distancing herself from nascent ideological demands on the left. That means, in the summer of 2020, with a torrent of polling fueling a narrative that Trump has fallen way behind in his campaign for a second term, warning Democrats not to trust what they’re being told.

“I don’t believe it,” Slotkin says matter of factly. “Listen, if anyone tells me they can accurately predict what major events are coming in the remainder of 2020, I’ll give them a thousand dollars. I mean, this has been the year of black swans. … I don’t for one minute think this [presidential] race is safe in anyone’s column. I’ve been literally begging people to ignore those polls. They are a snapshot in time. And if 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that we have no idea what’s coming next.”

I stop Slotkin there. Is her gripe that these snapshots—the polling, both public and private, that shows Republicans bleeding support across the board—are accurate in the present, yet subject to so much volatility in the future as to be worthless? Or does she believe the snapshots themselves are inaccurate here and now?

“I think they’re inaccurate,” she replies without hesitation. “Here’s the thing. When I started to run and I had to hire a pollster, I interviewed a bunch of different folks and I decided to do what we do sometimes at the Pentagon, which is to take a ‘bad cop’ approach to the interview. … It was five or six folks that I interviewed, and I said, ‘You got something wrong. You screwed up in 2016. What did you get wrong? And how are you going to fix it?”

Only one pollster, Slotkin says, admitted that he got it wrong. That was the person—Al Quinlan of GQR, a large Washington-based firm—she hired.

“He told me that they fundamentally undercounted the Trump vote; that the Trump voter is not a voter in every single election, that they come out for Trump, so they’re hard to count,” she explains. “On a survey, if someone says, ‘I’m not sure I’m going to vote,’ you don’t usually continue the conversation. And some of them didn’t have any desire to be on those poll calls; they didn’t have the 20 minutes to talk to somebody. They didn’t want to do it. And so, they were fundamentally undercounted.”

Slotkin, ever the intel analyst—identifying trends, compiling a report, presenting a conclusion—tells me, with a high degree of confidence, “I believe that same thing is happening right now.”

  26. I really don’t understand any sane person voting for any democrat right now… and I have family that will walk on glass to do exactly that…

  27. The only people who will vote for Biden are left wingnuts and Trump haters. His biggest problem are people like me who will stay home if they decide he is a Joker. Or that he is just checked and now controlled by the deep state with no way out. I really have not yet made up my mind. The key issue is the one we are not allowed to talk about. Even David Icke has been silenced, while the killing continues. Just how are we supposed to go back to work, infected by a nasty virus and fried with microwave radiation that impairs our immune systems, among other things? And who has done this to us? And we are supposed to get out there and vote for this? Really?

They have come for us. They are at the door. These people are soldiers, military people and they have come to kill you, your family, your pets and eventually every living thing on the planet. Killed or controlled to death. They are killing us with infection, injections, suffocation and radiation. What’s your plan? Donald Trump did not create this situation and you better not wait for him to fix it. If you are not talking to your neighbors and engaging your municipal and county representatives by now, start doing that. You are going to need an appropriate way to meet the soldier at the door. You can find some of better support organization of the links page of my website.

Ask POTUS why he puts up with an AG who is slow walking his business while he serves the people who are killing you. I would also suggest you contact your representatives and ask why our AG is allowed to serve his special interests instead of the public.

    Where is Flynn?

  28. Web
I agree. Trump should pardon Flynn now and stop this carnival. Sure the left will scream but they have no case and we all know that most us voters have short memories so it won’t be a factor in the election.

    Lu
Not voting is a vote for Biden, Pelosi and AoC. You really think that’s a better choice?

  29. I don’t believe it,” Slotkin says matter of factly. “Listen, if anyone tells me they can accurately predict what major events are coming in the remainder of 2020, I’ll give them a thousand dollars. I mean, this has been the year of black swans. …

    Black swans?

    You said black —swans?

    Black swans are bad!

Why didn’t you say white swans?

    You . . . racist svine.

    You deserve to be primaried!

    Or guillotined.

    And re educated.

    Libertad, equalidad, fraternidad!

Ein reich, ein volk, ein fuerher.

    Whose name is joebiden.

    It’s one word not two.

  30. I hope the campaign pillories the judge who sentenced Stone despite the fact that the jury pool was taineted, because that illustrates the lengths to which corrupt Obama appointed judges will go to twist the law to achieve a political outcome, and to thwart the interests of justice. That judge is a shameful human being and needs to be called out. This is why Trump must get another four years, to clean up the judicial branch who sees itself not as jurists at all, but super legislators. Historically, the judiciary was loathe to decide political questions and would refuse to hear such cases. Today, that’s all they do, and while some may argue that congress is unable to solve national problem therefore they devolve to the court. That is an anti constitutional argument, which is inimical to democracy. But when they not only decide cases they should not hear in the first place, but ignore stare decisis to impose political judgements favorable to the party that appointed them, then you have entered the twilight zone of a banana republic.

  31. Judge Jackson, Sullivan, and Bosart belong in a banana republic. They are a direct reflection of the corruption that courses through the arteries of official washington, which sees the country outside the beltway as their colony. They have much in common with the old school British colonialists whose arrogance and stupidity was the stuff of legend, and jokes.

  32. Imo…most of the people voting for Biden are not voting for Biden, he is the place holder…the means to their ends…he is their ticket to get back their power & control over policies, immigration, energy, DOJ, FBI, ICE etc, etc, etc in other words get back to what they were doing and much worse now with the BLM & Far Left element determined to take charge…

They don’t care about Biden, he would be more than lucky to last one year if that…he is like a vapor…and there is no way in hell that Biden or Pelosi can control the Far Left…
I honestly believe we are in very deep trouble if Biden wins…or god forbid Biden wins & the Left takes the Senate…Horror show!

Having said that I do concur with the Silent & Mostly Invisible Majority…they don’t make all the noise the Left does, they don’t spend their time on boycotts but they did show up en masse to pull the magic rabbit out of the hat & Surprise everybody & elect PDT

…and they can do it again…personally I don’t think it is whining for PDT to use not only his law & order stick but also his carrot of charm to persuade some voters that he freaks out with his tweets to assure them he has their safety & their children front & center in his plans for his second term (vs the Crazy out of control Dems)…

so once in a while show that charm so they understand they don’t have to like him but he will take care of them & their family (so they don’t have to worry about some Soros AG sending the police to their home with a search warrant because they had the gall to protect themselves & their home when hundreds of BLM broke down their fence & marched on to their private property threatening them) yeah, that kind of stuff…

…and I suggest he pushes School Choice hard…and his team makes a concerted effort to expose what is actually going on & what the teachers are pushing in the Public School system…Push school choice to the minority communities so THEY understand what is at stake for their kids & who is the best choice for them to elect as their President…who will help them get a good education for their kids…

Maybe they can make some ads showing what they hell is going on in our schools…vs charter schools & opportunities

as for Tucker, Hannity, Laura Ingraham most of those shows…I cannot take their tedious & repetitious monologues at the beginning of their shows…I do on occasion like to hear the discussion between some of their guests for other opinions…so I often will tape & then fast forward if any interesting guests are on

also I can’t stand how they interrupt their guests & take all their air time only to hear themselves repeat the same thing over & over again…especially Hannity, he even interrupts PDT mid sentence…ridiculous! Why have guests on & just repeat you usual routine again ad nauseum

yes, i agree it is going to be a blood bath…to the finish…

  34. Polls?

    https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1305342/Trump-news-Donald-Trump-US-election-2020-latest-Black-Lives-Matter

Trump SHOCK election poll: Black Lives Matter protests will get Trump re-elected
THE FALLOUT from the Black Lives Matter protests in the US offers Donald Trump his best chance of winning the Presidential election, a shock poll for the Sunday Express has revealed.

According to the poll conducted by the Washington based thinktank the Democracy Institute, President Trump is neck and neck with his rival Joe Biden on 47 percent. However, Mr Trump would win in the electoral college system by 309 to 229 delegates because he is on course to win the crucial swing states including Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin where he outpolls Vice President Biden by 48 percent to 44 percent. [snip]

According to the poll, the concerns over the effects of the protests appear to be boosting Mr Trump’s chances even though his campaign is believed to be flagging.

Given a choice between which phrases identified their views 71 percent chose “all lives matter” while 29 percent picked “black lives matter”.

Meanwhile, with statues of presidents and other historic figures being attacked and pulled down across the US, 74 percent said they disapproved of the actions while 77 percent disagreed with the assertion supported by many Democrat politicians that Mount Rushmore with the faces of four US Presidents carved on it “is racist”.

The poll showed that 59 percent approved of the President’s handling of the riots and protests but 40 percent want him to be tougher while 60 percent think Mr Biden has not been critical enough.

In addition, 67 percent prefer President Trump’s law and order message compared to 29 percent who want black community relations improved with the police.

Hopes that a black running mate for Vice President Biden will help seal the campaign for him have also been questioned in the poll with 79 percent saying it would make no difference.

And of greater concern for the Democrats is that Mr Trump is still polling strong with ethnic minority voters – 35 percent for black voters and 34 percent for Hispanics.

Terry Crews has hit the nail on the head…He is trying to message that the BLM is starting to sound & could lead to Black is better…and Terry is standing his ground that All Lives Matter…(Terry is also letting the cat out of the bag, along with Marcellus Wiley…that BLM are Marxists & Communists & against the nuclear family…for starters) (love those two guys)

so there is a “Reverse Racism” that is starting to bubble up to the surface…and people are taking notice…

Dems always overplay their hands…Like DeBlasio with his wife & Sharpton actually painting BLM “Murals” in front of Trump Towers on 5th Ave in NYC amidst the looting & ongoing BLM protests & firecrackers that are the only street action DeBlasio will allow…he even cancelled the San Gennaro Fair…now he is messing with Little Italy…don’t go there!

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8508923/Mayor-Bill-Blasio-bans-large-gatherings-NYC-September-EXCEPT-BLM-protests.html

AND looky here “Reverse Racism” has reached Hollywood…oh oh!

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8513727/Actors-writers-producers-warn-reverse-racism-film-industry.html

…and there is this trend to look forward to…( can I say unf’ckingbelievable in 2020)

We can all be inspired & encouraged by CEO of GOYA Robert Unanue & thank someone for finally speaking out & saying NO!

I am not apologizing…this is the USA…get lost with your cancel culture…cancel yourself!

What took us so long? Why have we been letting this small & close minded people DICTATE have so much power…Enough is enough!

  37. two more cents for me to offer

I hope PDT is getting in touch with his inner winner & he realizes that we are only about
3 1/2 months away from the election…(of course he is)

He does have to focus & fine tune his message & keep drilling it…and please don’t go off on side tangents that blur or overshadow his WINNING MESSAGE

focus his message like his life…and ours depend on it…

imo if PDT beats the drum for the Law & Order, Economy, Jobs, School Choice & maybe the proposed immigration plans he has up his sleeve…which evidently includes a “path to citizenship for the Dreamers’…and just keep contrasting against the Crazies…he should attract more & more voters

final thought…I think his preemptive strike on Immigration could be smart…could outfox or box in the Dems (reminds me of when Bill Clinton used to use repub issues to his advantage)

…and just stay away from the nonsense and confederate flag…keep that focused message out there with continued good job numbers & hopefully unemployment continuing to fall…that’s the ticket!

oh yes & have his oppo research ADS & DEBATE zingers ready for Biden at the debates & down the home stretch…

  38. My only question about Biden is what they are going to have to implant in his brain to make it work well enough for the debates. Certainly he will have the questions, but can he remember and articulate the answers?

(CNN)One need not listen hard these days to hear the sound of Democratic pollsters and pundits gleefully cheering that the end of President Donald Trump’s term in power is finally in sight — Joe Biden’s Inauguration Day on January 20th, 2021.

Such Democratic groupthink goes as follows: the Covid-19 pandemic has killed more than 130,000 Americans and shows no signs of letting up; the economy has been plunged into the deepest recession in decades; and amid ongoing protests in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, Democrats are fired up and ready to vote as never before.

Moreover, a diverse array of national polls couldn’t be clearer: Trump is in deep trouble nationally — with Joe Biden leading him by double digits.
Democratic strategists seem to believe this means that Biden has successfully cut into the President’s support among key parts of his political coalition: white voters, suburban voters, independents and voters who are middle aged and older. And the latest polling shows that even GOP strongholds like Georgia and Texas could be in play this fall.

It seems Democrats are all too keen on taking a victory lap before they pass the checkered flag. [snip]

The chattering classes may be in for a nasty November surprise. There are lots of reasons to suspect that Donald Trump may be the Mark Twain of American politics — in that reports of his political demise may be grossly exaggerated.

Like a modern-day street magician, Trump keeps pulling out new tricks to stymie Democrats at the polls when they least expect it — as he did this past May when Republicans took back a Congressional seat in deep blue California, the first time the GOP had gained a seat in the state in 22 years.

Let us be clear: We are political consultants who have spent the better part of the last 20 years working to get scores of Democrats elected across America. It gives us no great joy to think about Trump getting a second term, but here is some of what keeps us awake at night:

Americans usually don’t fire sitting presidents

Only three sitting US Presidents have been fired in the last 75 years, and that number could easily have been only one. After pardoning Richard Nixon, President Gerald Ford went on lose to Jimmy Carter by a squeaker. Carter barely won Wisconsin and Ohio and a switch of 144,384 votes in New York would have reelected Ford.

In 1992, Bill Clinton beat George Bush, winning less than half the popular vote (43%), with 19% going to Independent Ross Perot — a plurality, but not a majority. Since the 1930s, only Ronald Reagan was able to successfully unseat an incumbent president and beat him by a healthy margin — as a rule, Americans just don’t decisively — or regularly fire sitting presidents.

Trump’s numbers are down by a lot less than one would expect given, well, everything

Let’s state the obvious: America has been turned upside down over the last few months. The country has been all but shut down during the Covid-19 outbreak, and ongoing efforts to combat racism are fundamentally changing America. Sure — Trump’s numbers have taken a hit — but the problem for Democrats is that they are not down as much as his abysmal performance deserves.

The latest Fox News poll shows Biden is leading Trump by 12 points, up from a lead of eight points back in May. Bottom line, the country is in tatters and Biden’s lead has grown by a paltry four points. No typo — Biden’s lead has increased by just four points as a surge of coronavirus is gripping large swaths of states that typically vote red.

How is Biden doing today among the White voters without a college degree in the swing states that Trump won in 2016? Biden’s support, according to The New York Times / Siena College Poll, has him rising by a single point with this group since October — that’s the extent of the momentum Biden has gotten by winning enough delegates to secure the Democratic nomination in reaction to Trump’s poor performance over the last four months. A single point!

How about non-White voters — many of whom are taking to the streets and demanding justice and equality? Biden, according to the New York Times/ Siena College poll, has made virtually no gains whatsoever — up only two points among Black voters from 74% in October 2019 to 76% in the most recent poll and up just one point among Hispanics, from 35% in October 2019 to 36% today.

In fact, according to an early June NPR / PBS / Marist Poll, 3 in 10 non-White strongly approve or approve of the job Trump is doing as president — a number that has only declined by a single point since mid-March. And the poll finds that 9% of Black voters are supporting Trump today — essentially the same level of support The Donald enjoyed in 2016.

And Biden’s margin with the critical emerging Latino segment of the population is not where it should be. He leads by 24 points compared to the 38 point margin Hillary Clinton won them by in 2016.

So after everything that has happened since the death of George Floyd, including the president’s repeated demonization of Black Lives Matter protesters and embrace of racist symbols, Biden is exactly where Clinton was with Black voters — holding a majority of their support — and is running less well with Latinos. Biden’s margin over Trump is 14 points less than Clinton’s was — not exactly a reassuring reality for us Democrats.

Summertime polls are not predictions of November results

Polls conducted over the summer can be unreflective of the general election’s outcome. Recall that in July 1988, then-Vice President George H. W. Bush was trailing Michael Dukakis by 17 points and went on to win the election by eight points that November.

In early September, President Harry Truman was down about 13 points against Thomas Dewey, a race Truman would go on to win.

And four years ago, polling in June 2016 showed Hillary Clinton ahead of Donald Trump by 12 points, a similar lead to what Biden enjoys today.
What’s the takeaway? Polls are nothing more than a snapshot in time — they are neither a forecast, much less a prediction.

    Strong economic marks for Trump

More than any issue voters choose a president on the state of the economy — and this is the one place where Trump remains strong. According to a Gallup poll, about half of the country approves of his handling of the economy.

The New York Times/ Siena College poll also shows that in battleground states, Trump’s economic approval number is 56% — hardly an argument for showing him the door.

    Biden is lackluster

Democratic pundits love to fill the airwaves with praise for Biden who has been running a campaign that is mostly about letting Trump be Trump and not getting in the way of things like his botched US Covid-19 response, refusal to wear a mask in public and his threats against those protesting systemic racism.

The other way to read that is that the Biden camp seems to have settled on the 2020 election being a referendum on Trump — Biden simply doesn’t need to promote or advocate for his agenda for change. The Lincoln Project — a coalition of Never Trump GOP consultants — is running a far more effective campaign to sway public opinion against Trump than the Biden camp at this point.

Based on Biden’s current performance and how he nearly lost the Democratic primary and especially given his poor debate performances.
Biden isn’t a strong enough candidate to win by himself — he still needs a big assist from a flailing Donald Trump.

For Democrats there is a lot at stake these days — but counting Trump out is a mistake. Democrats need to be ready for the Trump machine to pull out all stops to stay in power. From voter suppression to an October surprise, anything is possible — and this race is a long way from over.

This race is over. President Trump wins bigly.

  41. https://nypost.com/2020/07/11/gop-voter-registrations-outpace-dems-in-swing-states-report/

GOP voter registrations outpace Dems in swing states: report

The Republican Party has edged out the Democrats in the race to sign up new voters — and coronavirus lockdowns are to blame, a new report says.

New registrations cratered in the last three months, says TargetSmart, a Democratic data firm. In May of this year, 194,596 new voters were registered nationwide, according to TargetSmart’s report. That’s just 13 percent of the 1,490,631 who registered in May 2016.

In at least five battleground states, Democrats appear to have borne the brunt of the damage during the COVID-shutdown period.

In Maine, for example, 59 percent of new voters registered as Dems pre-coronavirus — but only 40 percent have done so in the months since.

Dem declines were also seen in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, TargetSmart found.

Additionally, in the swing state of Iowa, the new voters helped the GOP retake the statewide lead in voter registrations last month, Politico reported.

The new voters who did manage to send in applications were older and whiter than those who had been recruited before the pandemic hit. Voters in those demographic groups are expected to break for President Trump, rather than for Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden, in November.

Despite the recent registration decline, over the entire pre-election period Republicans “have doubled the amount of new voter registrations … than we did in the entire 2016 cycle,” RNC press secretary Mandi Merritt told The Post. GOP canvassers added nearly 4,000 new voters to the polls over the July 4th weekend, she said. [snip]

Some partisans seem to be resorting to desperate measures — like sending a voter registration form to a long-deceased pet cat in Georgia this week.

Dims are winning in the money raising race in Senate seats. But money ain’t votes.

Yes. That is how I see it at this point. The democrat party sees BLM as its ally. Its enforcer.

    Why?

Its demand to defund the police who protect minority communities.

And the inability of the democrat party to separate itself from all this.

I was in Pennsylvania a few weeks before the 2016 election. I commented on this blog at that time, that I was very surprised at the number of Trump signs in the area.

I will not be in Pennsylvania prior to the election this year, however, a friend of ours just this week took a motorcycle trip across Pennsylvania on their way to New York. They are from PA and told us today that the number of Trump signs compared to 2016 is significantly more. For what it’s worth, just thought I would share.

If controlling the flow of data is now the primary means of production, then who owns control of data flows? As we all know, the answer is Big Tech platforms: Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Twitter, Netflix et al.

Neocon Lesbian Bari Weiss Leaves the New York Times, Blaming Woke Millennials for Poisoning the Paper

    —Ace

Update: Former Democrat presidential candidate Andrew Yang says the New York Times is no longer fit for purpose.

    yangonweiss
Lesbians are only permitted to have one type of politics.

Matter of fact — everyone is only permitted to have one type of politics.

Bari Weiss, a writer and editor for the embattled New York Times Opinion section, is leaving the paper.
When reached by phone, Weiss did not want to offer any further comment beyond confirming that she was out. According to an internal source, she was removed from the staff directory sometime in the past week.

A controversial figure inside and outside the paper, Weiss leaves in the wake of what she recently described as a civil war at the Times between “(mostly young) wokes” and “(mostly 40+) liberals.”

    She’s published this resignation letter.

    It’s a hell of a letter.

    Dear A.G.,
It is with sadness that I write to tell you that I am resigning from The New York Times.

I joined the paper with gratitude and optimism three years ago. I was hired with the goal of bringing in voices that would not otherwise appear in your pages: first-time writers, centrists, conservatives and others who would not naturally think of The Times as their home. The reason for this effort was clear: The paper’s failure to anticipate the outcome of the 2016 election meant that it didn’t have a firm grasp of the country it covers. Dean Baquet and others have admitted as much on various occasions. The priority in Opinion was to help redress that critical shortcoming.

I was honored to be part of that effort, led by James Bennet. I am proud of my work as a writer and as an editor….

But the lessons that ought to have followed the election–lessons about the importance of understanding other Americans, the necessity of resisting tribalism, and the centrality of the free exchange of ideas to a democratic society–have not been learned. Instead, a new consensus has emerged in the press, but perhaps especially at this paper: that truth isn;t a process of collective discovery, but an orthodoxy already known to an enlightened few whose job is to inform everyone else.

Twitter is not on the masthead of The New York Times. But Twitter has become its ultimate editor. As the ethics and mores of that platform have become those of the paper, the paper itself has increasingly become a kind of performance space. Stories are chosen and told in a way to satisfy the narrowest of audiences, rather than to allow a curious public to read about the world and then draw their own conclusions. I was always taught that journalists were charged with writing the first rough draft of history. Now, history itself is one more ephemeral thing molded to fit the needs of a predetermined narrative.

My own forays into Wrongthink have made me the subject of constant bullying by colleagues who disagree with my views. They have called me a Nazi and a racist; I have learned to brush off comments about how I’m “writing about the Jews again.” Several colleagues perceived to be friendly with me were badgered by coworkers. My work and my character are openly demeaned on company-wide Slack channels where masthead editors regularly weigh in. There, some coworkers insist I need to be rooted out if this company is to be a truly “inclusive” one, while others post ax emojis next to my name. Still other New York Times employees publicly smear me as a liar and a bigot on Twitter with no fear that harassing me will be met with appropriate action. They never are.

There are terms for all of this: unlawful discrimination, hostile work environment, and constructive discharge. I?m no legal expert. But I know that this is wrong.

I do not understand how you have allowed this kind of behavior to go on inside your company in full view of the paper’s entire staff and the public. And I certainly can’t square how you and other Times leaders have stood by while simultaneously praising me in private for my courage. Showing up for work as a centrist at an American newspaper should not require bravery.

Part of me wishes I could say that my experience was unique. But the truth is that intellectual curiosity–let alone risk-taking–is now a liability at The Times. Why edit something challenging to our readers, or write something bold only to go through the numbing process of making it ideologically kosher, when we can assure ourselves of job security (and clicks) by publishing our 4000th op-ed arguing that Donald Trump is a unique danger to the country and the world? And so self-censorship has become the norm.

What rules that remain at The Times are applied with extreme selectivity. If a person’s ideology is in keeping with the new orthodoxy, they and their work remain unscrutinized. Everyone else lives in fear of the digital thunderdome. Online venom is excused so long as it is directed at the proper targets.

Op-eds that would have easily been published just two years ago would now get an editor or a writer in serious trouble, if not fired. If a piece is perceived as likely to inspire backlash internally or on social media, the editor or writer avoids pitching it. If she feels strongly enough to suggest it, she is quickly steered to safer ground. And if, every now and then, she succeeds in getting a piece published that does not explicitly promote progressive causes, it happens only after every line is carefully massaged, negotiated and caveated.

It took the paper two days and two jobs to say that the Tom Cotton op-ed “fell short of our standards.” We attached an editor’s note on a travel story about Jaffa shortly after it was published because it “failed to touch on important aspects of Jaffa’s makeup and its history.” But there is still none appended to Cheryl Strayed’s fawning interview with the writer Alice Walker, a proud anti-Semite who believes in lizard Illuminati.

The paper of record is, more and more, the record of those living in a distant galaxy, one whose concerns are profoundly removed from the lives of most people. This is a galaxy in which, to choose just a few recent examples, the Soviet space program is lauded for its “diversity”; the doxxing of teenagers in the name of justice is condoned; and the worst caste systems in human history includes the United States alongside Nazi Germany.

Even now, I am confident that most people at The Times do not hold these views. Yet they are cowed by those who do. Why? Perhaps because they believe the ultimate goal is righteous. Perhaps because they believe that they will be granted protection if they nod along as the coin of our realm–language–is degraded in service to an ever-shifting laundry list of right causes. Perhaps because there are millions of unemployed people in this country and they feel lucky to have a job in a contracting industry.

Or perhaps it is because they know that, nowadays, standing up for principle at the paper does not win plaudits. It puts a target on your back. Too wise to post on Slack, they write to me privately about the “new McCarthyism” that has taken root at the paper of record.

All this bodes ill, especially for independent-minded young writers and editors paying close attention to what they’ll have to do to advance in their careers. Rule One: Speak your mind at your own peril. Rule Two: Never risk commissioning a story that goes against the narrative. Rule Three: Never believe an editor or publisher who urges you to go against the grain. Eventually, the publisher will cave to the mob, the editor will get fired or reassigned, and you’ll be hung out to dry.

For these young writers and editors, there is one consolation. As places like The Times and other once-great journalistic institutions betray their standards and lose sight of their principles, Americans still hunger for news that is accurate, opinions that are vital, and debate that is sincere. I hear from these people every day. “An independent press is not a liberal ideal or a progressive ideal or a democratic ideal. It’s an American ideal,” you said a few years ago. I couldn’t agree more. America is a great country that deserves a great newspaper.

[I’ve] always comforted myself with the notion that the best ideas win out. But ideas cannot win on their own. They need a voice. They need a hearing. Above all, they must be backed by people willing to live by them.

    Sincerely,

    Bari

The weak kneed GOPe in Congress had hoped to screw Trump in the GE and still retain their own seats.

Peter Navarro: Anthony Fauci Has Been Wrong On Every Single Claim He’s Made About Covid
True. It’s a wonder that among the liberal Ruling Class (including the fake Republican wing of the liberal Ruling Class), this counts as “controversial.”

Navarro is an advisor to Trump on trade and the economy. Anthony Fauci, meanwhile, is a lifelong civil servant doing political ops for his Democrat friends, which in this case now includes deliberately tanking the economy still further.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has a good bedside manner with the public, but he has been wrong about everything I have interacted with him on.

In late January, when I was making the case on behalf of the president to take down the flights from China, Fauci fought against the president’s courageous decision –which might well have saved hundreds of thousands of American lives.

When I warned in late January in a memo of a possibly deadly pandemic, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was telling the news media not to worry.

When I was working feverishly on behalf of the president in February to help engineer the fastest industrial mobilization of the health care sector in our history, Fauci was still telling the public the China virus was low risk.

When we were building new mask capacity in record time, Fauci was flip-flopping on the use of masks.

And when Fauci was telling the White House Coronavirus Task Force that there was only anecdotal evidence in support of hydroxychloroquine to fight the virus, I confronted him with scientific studies providing evidence of safety and efficacy. A recent Detroit hospital study showed a 50% reduction in the mortality rate when the medicine is used in early treatment.

Now Fauci says a falling mortality rate doesn’t matter when it is the single most important statistic to help guide the pace of our economic reopening. The lower the mortality rate, the faster and more we can open.

So when you ask me whether I listen to Dr. Fauci’s advice, my answer is: only with skepticism and caution.

Fauci wants to keep the economy shut down… until the demented Joe Biden is elected.

  70. Is There a ‘Secret Trump Vote’ That Will Carry the President to Victory?
BY RICK MORAN JUL 15, 2020 2:30 PM EST

    (AP Photo/Alan Diaz)
A new Monmouth University poll out today shows Joe Biden comfortably ahead of Donald Trump by 53-40 in Pennsylvania. Biden has a 21 point lead among independents and leads in almost every age group, including those over 65.

But if you ask voters who they think is going to win the state of Pennsylvania, it’s a different story.

Most registered voters (54%) say they were surprised in 2016 when Trump ended up winning Pennsylvania’s electoral votes. They are evenly divided on whether they expect Trump (46%) or Biden (45%) to win the commonwealth this time around. One reason for this seems to be that most voters (57%) believe there are a number of so-called secret voters in their communities who support Trump but won’t tell anyone about it. Less than half that number (27%) believe there are secret voters for Biden. The suspicion that a secret Trump vote exists is slightly higher in swing counties (62%) and Clinton counties (61%) than in Trump counties (51%). The belief in a secret Biden vote is somewhat more prevalent in Trump counties (32%) than Clinton counties (23%) and swing counties (23%).

The poll isn’t misleading as much as one might believe. Trump might have Biden right where he wants him.

Comparing the current results to a Monmouth University Poll taken in August 2016, Biden’s likely voter position is similar to Clinton’s summer standing in the swing counties, where she led Trump by 50% to 40%. Interestingly, Trump is doing slightly better now in core Clinton counties than four years ago, when he was polling at 21% to 67% for Clinton. Biden, however, is currently stronger than Clinton was in the president’s base counties, where she was polling at 27% to 60% for Trump.

Four months is a long time in politics, especially today when a single event or issue can flip the script and put Trump right back in it. There is also the radical factor that few pollsters are even looking at. Biden is seen as “extreme” by many voters but Trump has not taken advantage of that yet.

Americans don’t vote for extremists or radicals and if Trump can tie Biden to Black Lives Matter, AOC, and Bernie Sanders — all well known left-wing kooks — those numbers in Pennsylvania will begin to look a lot better for Trump.

Highlighting Biden’s policies would help in identifying him as far out of the mainstream. His $2 trillion “investment” in green energy over a 4 year period would shatter the budget and raise energy prices to unbearable levels. That is truly a scary, radical idea.

Despite reading every day that the race is over, that Biden should be working on his transition, this election is far from over. Democratic overconfidence might do them in again.

Okay, they’re not pledging it directly to Black Lives Matter, but to “minority communities” to offset “racial injustice,” but we all know Black Lives Matter will be taking their Grifter Cut.

Bank of America has pledged $1 billion over four years in an effort to help businesses recover from the coronavirus-induced recession, with an emphasis on those owned and operated by people of color.
In a press release, the bank said that the funding will largely go toward facilitating economic mobility and development programs, while adding an emphasis on health services as the pandemic drags on. Areas of focus for the funding will include health, job training, reskilling (teach someone how to do a new job) and upskilling (teaching someone new skills to help them in their current job), small business support and housing aid.

“Underlying economic and social disparities that exist have accelerated and intensified during the global pandemic,” said Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan in the statement. “The events of the past week have created a sense of true urgency that has arisen across our nation, particularly in view of the racial injustices we have seen in the communities where we work and live. We all need to do more.”

And 90% of the people who work there should be named Karen. They desperately want to manage your life. They want to tell you what to eat, how much to eat, how much exercise, that you can’t own a gun. And they’ve learned, over time, that be declaring something an ‘epidemic’–here, think obesity–they gain a very loud voice.

By controlling the Wuhan virus data collection, they could manipulate the numbers of cases. And by focusing on the number of cases rather than useful metrics, to make it appear that the problem is much more severe than it really is. Why? The aggrandizement of power (are you wearing a face mask? are you keeping six feet from other people?) and as a way to damage a president, they intensely dislike.

    ——–
The interesting, and deceptive reason they are viewed as conservative is because four of their key slots in the most watched part of the day are held by Trump supporters. Wallace is a narcisstic, nasty, left leaning, soft ball pitcher when it comes to democrats. He is a legend in his own mind and nowhere else. Whether Trump should have consented to an interview with this pin head is a question he had t decide. I think he did well against an unfair moderator with his little script of have you stopped beating your wife questions, his elevating gutter rumors and attacks on his father as requiring a defense, his constant interruptions, and what will you do if you lose, and his sophomoric attempt to goad Trump into saying he thinks Joe is senile. For Wallace to claim he is not a democrat shill and treats them equal reminds me of something Goebbels would say. If I ran into him on the street, I would call him on it, and he would fold like they all do, except for that blithering idiot Chris Cumo who goes full beast mode at the slightest provocation. Now there is a psycho.

  82. The successful defense of federal facilities in Portland which were under attack by the human trash otherwise known as ANTIFA and BLM by the federal government, specifically the Border Control Tactical Unit consisting of 30 experts in the field and US Marshals provide a clue as to where President Trump may be going this week as the rioting continues and anti American local democrat officials egg them on and do nothing to stop it. The left will cite the treasonous remarks of the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who looks physical appearance leads me to believe he has closed down too many bars during his tenure, and they will invoke Posse Comitatus to say that federal troops cannot be used to quell violent domestic disturbances. But here is the truth of the matter:

Garden Plot / CONPLAN 2502 (Civil Disturbance Operations)

Use of the military to support civil authorities stems from core national values as expressed in the Constitution. Article I, Section 8 states, “Congress shall have power… to provide for calling forth the Militia to execute laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections, and repel Invasions.” Article II, Section 3 states the President, “…shall take care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” The 10th Amendment reads, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it, are reserved to the States respectively…,” providing the basis that Federal government support, including DoD assistance, is provided in support of State and local authorities.

The President is authorized by the Constitution and Title 10 (10 USC 331–334) to suppress insurrections, rebellions, and domestic violence. After issuing a Cease and Desist Order, the President issues an executive order that directs the Attorney General and the SECDEF to take appropriate steps to disperse insurgents and restore law and order. The Attorney General is then responsible to coordinate the federal response to domestic civil disturbances. The restrictions of the Posse Comitatus Act no longer apply to federal troops executing the orders of the President to quell the disturbance in accordance with Rules of the Use of Force (RUF) approved by the DoD General Counsel and the Attorney General.

In addition, the DOJ under Barr will indict some of the trash leaders who would get the rubber hose treatment if it were my call, which fortunately for all concerned it is not. Also, I hope and pray that he leans heavily on the US Marshall’s office and if necessary the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Fire arms, and minimally on the ethically challenged FBI because those dudes cannot be trusted.

  83. Just read the bio on this joker Billy Williams who holds the position of US Attorney for Oregon and is by all appearances more concerned about protecting the rioters than doing his job. All I can say is he is unimpressive. Sadly, another Jeff Sessions . . . Makes you wonder whose side he is on, and who controls him. If it were my call, I would put Steven Miller in charge, he is impressive.

    https://www.justice.gov/usao-or/meet-us-attorney

  84. What I said about the FBI will be clear to all concerned when and if Durham issues his report. The FBI is a creature of Washington, and is, for that reason, TOO MIRED IN DEMOCRAT POLITICS, to do the job for which they are assigned. There is hope for the field offices, but they do not run the show. This joker Christopher Wray just hired a new general counsel who is from King and Spalding which is an Atlanta law firm joined at the hip to the Democrat Party. Carters attorney Griffin Bell was a senior partner with that firm, I knew his son Mallory who is a good guy. Also, that firm is where Sally Yates and other dimocrat luminaries landed. It is obvious to me that Wray and anyone he brings in is deep state all the way, he was a poor choice for the county–tied by family to the elite class, and needs to be replaced by someone who can reform that beleagured agency, rather than covering up its crimes, and treating the country like a mushroom by keeping us in the dark and feeding us shit. On top of everything else, I am sure he has a very clean desk and belongs to all the right social clubs, and it to that extent an entirely worthless public official. But we digress.

  85. They did not have to tell me that ANTIFA is a marxist organization. The term anti fascist was was the one Stalin used to attack enemies of his communist regime. These are communist who came to this country after World War II, were called the Frankfurt school, and in true Gramci fashion began their long walk through the institutions–the universities, the media, the non profits, and even the human resource departments of major corporations, to gain control of our country. The greatest man I ever met, Thomas Sowell, was on Mark Levin’s show yesterday, and said he is a pessimist but he never imagined things could get as bad as they are now, and the next election will be the tipping point which will determine whether the constitutional order survives. If you look at everything that it going on now it is hard to argue with that statement.

  86. Shortly after the Civil War, a group of former black slaves purchased tracts of land on the outskirts of Raleigh North Carolina, and called their community Oberlin after the school in Ohio which had been at the forefront of the abolitionist movement. Despite all the obstacles, they succeeded as a community, were economically prosperous and their families were stable. Those who have studied this example tell us what those community leaders said at the time, namely that they did not expect a hand out, they concentrated instead on building human capital and they did that through learning marketable skills and valuing education. That pattern was manifested elsewhere too, black families survived intact and unemployment was low. Prior to the great society programs there was one black high school in Washington DC that had the highest academic standing in the city, and produced a professional class of generals, judges, lawyer and business leaders second to none. Then came the great society, and the welfare state, which broke up the black family (as noted by Senator Daniel Monynihan while he was still a Harvard professor) and eroded those marketable skills. The main beneificiaries of those programs were white liberals who saw it as the path to power, and Lyndon Johnson himself, put the proposition even more crudely. And the victims were the inner city black people who became pawns in those schemes, aided and abetted by a left wing media who coronated racial thugs like Al Sharpton to represent that committee. That in a nutshell is what the democrat party today is offering: more of the hair of the dog that bit them.

  87. The white liberal is morally responsible for the destruction of the black community, historically (see above) and even today as they promote open borders which bring in illegal drugs and low wage illegal immigrants, and even with the riots they champion which destroy the economic base of the inner city, Those are the devils we are dealing with, who are hell bent on destroying our nation.

Part of the social contract between citizens and government is that citizens will forgo vigilantism as long as the government pursues justice on behalf of the citizens. If Government reneges on that bargain then Americans will begin to take the law into their own hands. It took a long time to condition people to let the justice system handle things through the courts. It will introduce a lot of chaos if things revert to frontier justice. He is saying that the destruction of cities by left wing mobs, the passivity of democrats, the need for an economic recovery, the rise of China, none of this means ANYTHING. He claims this election will be a referendum on Trump’s handling of the corona virus. That is bullshit. The threat is broader than he surmises. The threat is to the most basic right of all, namely the right to self protection. This was the entire reason people came out of the state of nature where life was nasty short and brutish in the words of Thomas Hobbs, and ergo the first obligation of government is to protect the individual from the risk of violent death according to him. So it isn’t simply the fact that the progressive democrat wants to defund the police. It is the further fact that if you attempt to defend yourself against the risk of violent death, if you are white and you live in St Louis, you, not your attacker will be indicted. Why not flip the script on these asshole, Why not say white liberals are the root of all evil. They have destroyed the black community. They are the ones who support ANTIFA, and BLM. And they are the ones who want to destroy this country. Yes. Flip the script on them. They have made race the issue. Fine. Turn the howitzers on them.
it, the first obligation of government is to protect

  96. What I am saying is big media has sold the BIG LIE that white people are the problem. Rather than defend all whites, why not redirect the attack to the whites who have created the problem and revel in it. Not whites in general but guilt ridden or power seeking white liberals. THAT should be the gravamen of the complaint, and the target for retribution.

  97. The New York Times has hired a so called investigative reporter to uncover the address where Tucker Carlson and his family live., at a time when violent left wing mobs are attacking those they are directed to attack at their homes, just as we saw in St Louis.

There can be no bona fide rationale for this–none. The whole intent of this slave owning family that owns the Times is either to silence him, or to have him killed. for exposing their treason masquerading as journalism and uging others to stand up to the mob. I wonder how many Pulitizers they will get if that plot succeeds,

I wonder whether Johathan Karl supports this? If so, then equity which delights to do justice and that not by halves mandates open season on left wing journalists as well. Sadly, that is what it has come down to.

I have laughed in the past at the sheer buffonery of Pelosi. I am off that. She is pure evil—like in the Silence of the Lambs. I see no reason to give her the benefit of the insanity defense

  98. Yellow belly traitors all. If the weak knees antinTrump Republicans support the continuation of the additional $600 a week unemployment, we are sunk

Who the hell would ever work?

    Forbes article:

“The rebounding economy is facing new headwinds from responses to rising Covid-19 cases and from local governments that are mulling big tax increases to make up for Covid-caused revenue losses.

The GOP is still tepid about the most powerful booster of all: suspending the payroll tax, which would both raise people’s take-home pay and reduce employers’ cost of employing workers.

The party is also hostile to another round of individual stimulus checks, which are necessary to help people repair their battered finances. The size of these checks should be far larger than the ones sent out several months ago.

Some Republicans are pushing to preserve at least part of a federal program that pays the unemployed $600 a week on top what they receive from the states. This hurts re-employment, as millions of people are getting more for not working than they would if they were working. The provision should not be renewed, in any form, when it expires at the end of the month. Otherwise, labor market experts warn, the economy will be seriously hurt.”

Addendum: And 90 billion for schools to continue indoctrinating our children, train “community organizers” and fund the New Democrat Party. The GOPe is doing it to us again… see any significant pushback from the party proper on mail in ballots, etc.? Don’t doubt that they want to go back to entitled and feckless as usual.

bot quite true, not surprised headline does not really match story.

that link (tweet) you embedded states households will follow emergency order including facial masks. if you bothered to read the order (not linking due to links blocked)

Private Gatherings. It is a violation of this Emergency Order for any group of persons to gather at a residential property, whether single-family or multi-family, and whether indoors and/or outdoors, where such gathering exceeds ten (10) persons. Residents of the household and parents and minor children of the residents of the household shall not be counted when determining whether the gathering exceeds ten (10) persons

that ALONE is bad enough as it limits household gatherings INSIDE the household, does not mandate masks inside.

I know some here love to link from his site. never trust his headlines. always read deep into whatever crap he posts.

How is it even possible to mandate masks in houses?

    ———
Like Prohibition, it can be done with the stroke of a pen.

    Enforcement will be impossible UNLESS

They want to encourage family members to rat on eachother

Which the democrat party will fully support.

Just like they did in communist Cuba.

They set up block watch snitches, deemed committees for the preservation of the revolution.

A friend of mine called me today.

He lives in Bellevue, which is a wealthy RINO community on the other side of Lake Washington.

With AK-47s and AR-15 accessories visibly displayed.

If one of their bullets fired in self defense against the mob missed and hit a CNN or MSNBC ‘reporter’ that would be unfortunate.

If he was rushed to Bellevue Hospital and saved that would be a tragedy.

  103. foxy: glad you did share that information on your facebook.

I understand that the today’s murder orgy in Chicago while terrible just like all the others that preceded it has had one salutary effect:

The mayor has relented on her adamant refusal to allow federal troops to come in to support the local police in suppressing the violence.

One of the things people do not know is 86 per cent of the murders in Chicago are never solved—yes a 14 per cent closure rate.

This has been a rally cry by community activists, and I assume the pressure from that quarter has become politically unbearable for that mayor.

Some may argue this is a trap for Trump. That there is no short term solution for the murder rate in Chicago, and to enter that fray involves political risk and invites recriminations.

Others will say it is an opportunity to show the country that he alone is willing to use the resources of the federal government to save lives, support law enforcement and restore the rule of law.

    Personally, I subscribe to the latter view . . . .

  104. gonzo, I am glad to see that Trump has resumed the corona virus briefings, because, contrary to what I said yesterday, it is now evident to me that the dims want to make co vid 19 and his response to it the only issue in the November election. I realized that tonight when I saw that the teachers unions in California and now in the three counties outside Washington dc are shutting down the school year. The science rebuts Cuomo’s self serving claim that we will not use of children as guinea pigs, and recent history confirms that during his tenure he used the elderly as guinea pigs, so he has no moral high ground, but only blood on his hands. He is incompetent–and evil.Given all that, not resuming the corona virus briefings would cede the playing field to evil people of the far left. The final good thing we are seeing is the exposure of the NBA and NIKE who criticize this country continuously exposed as employers of slave labor in China and puppets of the China regime. They are globalists, and so is that scum bag Dallas Maverick ownerMark Cubin who has endorsed the zombie Joe Biden, not for his competence but because he is completely manipulable.

  105. Hi Mrs. Smith1. Hope you are doing well!!!
Hannity seems a little unhinged on his shows and not sure what angle to take to help POTUS. I guess it will be the law and order thing given his coverage the last couple of weeks of Chicago’s and other inner city violence. Trump pivoted back to covid which if you believe the polls(and please no screaming at me) seems to be the #1 concern.

  106. Many years ago, I was in some dispute with someone the merits of which I have long since forgotten, and somehow my late boss said something that made sense to me at the time, and even more so today BECAUSE it defines the difference between Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity. Sean is a cheer leader for the Republican Party and does not criticize RINOs when the sell out the president and the country. What save him from extinction is his loyalty to Trump which is true and adorable, and the guests he brings on like John Sullivan etc. Tucker is an intellectual populist who has sold his soul to neither party, is libertarian in his leanings. His initial book A Ship of Fools, which pilloried the traitors in both parties, and the donor class/globalist/corporate media who define both. His debating skills are second to none. And he represents what Edmund Burke and no less the founding fathers hoped would accede to positions of power, namely those with enough money that they could not be bribed and were devoted to the welfare of the American People. above anything else. I have always felt that way about him, and Kim Strassel. They are two seekers of wisdom and truth in a profession dominated by mediocrity, narcissism, and corporate control which stifles truth, solutions and constructive dialogue. Therefore it is reassuring to encounter at least one writer who shares my opinions one writer, below. Finally, the fact that Tucker has acquired a large audience, and was able to pre empt a terrorist attack on his family by the New York Time which was confirmed by the specificity of his charge, including the names of operatives assigned to that task coupled with the mealy mouthed response of that sunken cathedral of journalism confirms it was indeed a plan in action, proves that he has become a pre eminent voice, and as long as our president remains true to the populist message Tucker will support him and eviscerate his enemies. In other words, Tucker will always support the president when he is right, and I am quite sure that Trump who is surrounded by yes men as anyone in power is appreciates his candor and his insight on what the base is thinking.
    ———

Carlson approaches the news as someone who understands and feels the populist ideas that have long been ignored in the United States, but he does so as someone uniquely gifted to give an intelligent voice on them. He has gained a following by explaining the very things that led to President Donald Trump being elected, and he has done so without swearing absolute fealty to Trump.

In fact, the relationship is rumored to be somewhat reversed: Trump himself pays close attention to what Carlson is saying because he recognizes that those views are largely the views of his base. So when Trump does something that Carlson disagrees with, and Carlson voices his disagreement, you can bet the President has heard him and is seriously considering a change of course.

This is also what makes Carlson so unique on his own network. Consider this exchange as Carlson hands off to Sean Hannity last night on the air.

Hannity is quick to disagree with Carlson, because it sounds like Carlson is reciting the same tired rhetoric progressives do when it comes to billionaires and their money. Hannity’s response is an almost conditioned one that he feels compelled to make, and he himself admits that he didn’t watch any previous segment to understand what Carlson was saying.

That’s the difference between Carlson and pundits like Hannity. Hannity’s job is largely reactionary. He responds and recites the talking points every good conservative is supposed to make. He quickly goes to the defense of a Republican under attack without stopping to think if what that Republican did is actually worth defending. The majority of the opinion hosts on Fox News do the same thing because they got their jobs being able to do that.

But Carlson treats the job differently. He approaches it by looking at the issues through the lenses of the populism that is currently running through the Republican Party and speaking out based on what he sees. The other hosts simply respond with the same thing they’ve already responded with because they look at the issues through the lenses of the people who have looked through the lenses in the past. It’s ingrained in how they approach things, and it is losing its appeal.

As I said yesterday morning, I see Carlson becoming a major force in the conservative movement, with the ability to mobilize the populists in the party in ways the other pundits can’t and the ability to really step into any void that is left by the more famous and iconic figures in conservative media (like Rush Limbaugh) stepping aside. That is why traditional media and even some in conservative media see Carlson as a threat. He is as likely to shake things up as Limbaugh did when he came on the scene.

It remains to be seen if he’ll actually do that, but the potential is there, and I think there are a good many in the traditional media who see that and are genuinely scared by it.

  107. If you were the headline editor for the story detailing that 90 of 144 people tested received a false positive COVID test, many of which were nursing home residents, which headline would you use:

“Massive false positive issue discovered with COVID tests”

“Staggering 63% of recent COVID tests result in false positives”

“Troubling number of false positives discovered with COVID tests”

“Warning: Efficacy of COVID tests in question”

Any of the above would be reasonable and would accurately reflect the story. Unsurprisingly, this is the misleading headline that was used by New York’s WABC-TV:

“Testing flaw leads to dozens of false positives”

    https://abc7ny.com/health/covid-news-dozens-recieve-false-positive-results-from-ct-lab/6325596/

  108. I agree 100% with you wbboei. Carlson is no Trump fan but sees the disaster the other course would have . Hannity is as you say simply a cheerleaders who has Rhinos like Graham on all the time. Trump likes him only because he is a nightly pep rally for the base , but Trump needs more than his base to pull this off. Advertisers have already backed away from Carlson and I have to sit through 10 my pillow commercials during his show .
As for Solomon can we point to one thing he has written that has led to action???

  109. Glad to see that Trump has resumed the Covid-19 press briefings.

Covid-19 is indeed surging in Florida and Texas, but it’s not nearly as dire as the Fake News makes it out to be:

    https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/96dd742462124fa0b38ddedb9b25e429

    https://tabexternal.dshs.texas.gov/t/THD/views/COVIDExternalQC/COVIDTrends?%3AisGuestRedirectFromVizportal=y&%3Aembed=y

Since the Fake News won’t tell the public the truth, Trump needs to do it.

I do think Trump should invite Drs. Birx and Fauci to some of the pressers. Lends credibility.

Guest appearances by Governors deSantis and Abbott would be nice, too, to provide details on what they’re doing to combat the virus.

  110. JB

I believe Solomon’s investigative reports on Ukraine, Russia hoax etc have been pivotal in applying pressure.

“I do think Trump should invite Drs. Birx and Fauci to some of the pressers. Lends credibility.”

Disagree vehemently….they have no credibility. They need to be replaced with scientists who will report on Sweeden / schools etc. Trump needs to bolster his position.. Fauci is a dear friend of the Cuomos…what a disaster.

  112. ““I do think Trump should invite Drs. Birx and Fauci to some of the pressers. Lends credibility.”

Disagree vehemently….they have no credibility. They need to be replaced with scientists who will report on Sweeden / schools etc. Trump needs to bolster his position.. Fauci is a dear friend of the Cuomos…what a disaster.”
    ———————-
The vast majority of the public finds Dr. Birx and Fauci credible.

Whether they deserve such esteem is irrelevant.

We know from experience that they won’t diss Trump publicly during a press conference.

If Trump continues to fly solo during these pressers, the public will tune them out.

Ditto if he invites only butt-kissers.

  113. As for Solomon can we point to one thing he has written that has led to action???
    ————-
Well, he has been at the forefront of exposing the Russia hoax, the conspiracy against Flynn and the corruption of big media. That is about all you can expect from a journalist—finding the truth and getting the word out., while others do everything in their power to cover it up. An investigative journalist is only as good as his sources, and John has some of the best inside the deep state. Like you, he is frustrated that the evidence is out there, but no enforcement action has been forthcoming. Its like the old saw you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink. If Durham cannot announce indictments before the election, then none of this will matter. However, there are other issues to consider, like the rioting and progress on the corona virus, if he can keep Faucci on the reservation.

  114. matthew77

They only believe Fauci because Trump gave him such an important platform. Now Trump needs to replace him with new faces who will then become important.

  115. Trump speaking live from WH regarding crime and operation Legend. Fox News is the ONLY coverage. Totally ignored by every MSM outlet. Sickening.

  116. Heartrending speech from LeGend’s mom. I believe Trump became emotional and left the stage somewhat abruptly. It was very sad to hear their testimonies.

  117. Great to see Trump finally go on the offense.

He’s given the Dem mayors more than enough time to restore law and order.

Since the mayors cannot or will not do it, the Feds can and should intervene.

Politically, this move will help Trump immensely.

So will his resumption of the Covid-19 briefings.

The Fake News outlets won’t want to cover either effort.

Too bad. They will have no choice.

They are both pathetic stooges who belong in jail. Only anti-Trumpers like them because they brought him down.

  119. You know I have been very quiet and busy with what the Narrative Controllers do not want mentioned. But is is big and dirty and people are dying from it. Much worse than expected. There have been high court rulings since last August that make these expedited deployments unlawful and that is why they are ramming them through. There are three on the books now and fourth one coming. Who knew? There is total information control from the “homeland security” bunch and big money. In the meantime, you have to stop then on a permit-by-permit basis. It is not easy, but is doable. I started the training and found a modification permit on the tower by me to upgrade the antennas and double the power to it. So I got to learn the process fast. We will see if it works. I am pretty sure it will.

But I am telling you this because of another permit I am working on. It is for one of these so called small cells. They are an abomination. They cover every band from 0.8 to 6 GHz and all have a lot of power. The power output is pretty close to that of a base station and that is what they are putting in the right-of-ways of peoples homes. The one I am looking at is 30,000 Watts of effective radiated power and is fed with a 200 amp service. 200 feet from someone’s home. You have to catch them in the permitting phase to stop them. So what I am telling you is that you need to visit your municipal building department and get a list of all the pending wireless telecom facilities and make sure you are not on the schedule. The group that is most actively successful is mystreetmychoice dot com. Learn the process and watch the permits because they are going to be doubling down but hopefully their time is running out.

  120. I will say this, the China virus has killed twice as many people in the last 3 weeks in my county then the previous 5 months… that is the truth and the last 3 days the numbers of hospitalizations have skyrocketed

There is real concern here in the heart of Texas…

  121. gonzotx
    July 22, 2020 at 9:34 pm

Don’t be a fool. Of course you are going to have more people dying from virus when their immune systems are destroyed. Who is inundating the public with huge levels of you-know-what? Does China own those towers?

  122. I understand the false positives and fake data

But people are dying here, now the question is is it a motorcycle or China virus that killed them?

  123. Politically, this move will help Trump immensely.

So will his resumption of the Covid-19 briefings.

The Fake News outlets won’t want to cover either effort.

Too bad. They will have no choice.

One of the tricks used by trial attorneys , utilized most effectively during closing statement, is to raise questions saying you make think it strange that x said this given y, which leaves it to jury to figure it out themselves, rather than be force fed the answer.

Likewise here, when a rabid ideologue like Rat Boy Chuck Todd says censors all or parts of a Trump briefing on the corona virus, the question to someone who gets their perception of reality through the globalist medium of big media should be asked given the threat posed by the corona virus, do you think it strange that Rat Boy and his network would not cover the remarks of the president of the United States, and the new information he provided? Why do you think they refuse to do so—and what else do they not want you to know. Now depending on who the liberal happens to be it may get him thinking about that without challenging him directly, or if he is thick between the ears, as many of them are, you will be like teaching pigs to sing, which is to say, a waste of your time, and annoying to the pigs. By the way, if that metaphor evokes an image of Animal Farm, that is not a coincidence.

    July 23, 2020 at 6:28 am

Motorcycle? Why has Trump climbed on the China Virus train while his AG is promoting radiation systems that are proliferating it? How can this be caused by everything but the hideous Hydra headed towers and deadly antennas being deployed into our neighborhoods? When was the last time you heard Trump say f*i*v*e* G*e*e?

  125. Tom Fitton is the spokesman for Judicial Watch– and a superb one he is.

Chris Farrell is the lion behind the scene.

Chris was so far ahead of the game, that they banned him on FOX, so the Murdock Boys could resume their dalliances with the denizens of the deep state.

Here, Chris lays it all on the line, as he always does.

The Bottom line here is not where is Hunter, but where is Durham.

If he delays the day of reckoning much longer, it will be a clue to more.

Like the Sherlock Holmes observation about the dog that did not bark.

Granted, a defender of him like me would be quick to point out that the legal process is slow

And the prosecutor must prove whatever case he brings to the grand jury beyond reasonable doubt,

The problem with that defense is so much of the evidence is sitting there now in plain view.

I do not question Durham’s commitment to the rule of law or his integrity.

Most of us, who are not blind partisans can look to his track record and stipulate to that.

What I worry about is whether he is trying to build a perfect case.

If so, then the old adage applies, i.e. perfect is the enemy of good.

Also, I worry that he may be constrained by the often repeated, but never actually established rule of thumb that the Justice Department is loathe to bring indictments in an election year.

This rule which is not a rule per se, but at most a custom, more honored in the breach than in the observance, must yield to the fact that what we are talking about here is treason writ large, and in a democracy the people are entitled to know what happened before they vote, so they can make an INFORMED choice between the two parties when they cast their ballot.

Whatever customs this may violate, whatever inconvenience it may cause, whatever hyper partisan pushback it may engender in these hyper partisan times are as nothing compared to the harm done to democracy if justice is delayed.

Ergo, whatever cards are left on the table, whatever avenues for further investigation are foreclosed for now, Durham must act before labor day.

    CHRIS FARRELL
    JUDICIAL WATCH
    July 22, 2020
    10:22 AM ET
    FONT SIZE:

One is supposed to believe that Attorney General William Barr is in charge of the Department of Justice and that on May 14, 2019, he appointed John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct the inquiry to examine the origins of the “Trump/Russia investigation” and determine if intelligence collection involving the Trump campaign was “lawful and appropriate” (Obamagate).

To date, there is nothing to show from the Barr/Durham effort.

Judicial Watch has uncovered and published reams of material through litigation and use of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). That work has been a years-long effort – often fighting the Trump/Barr Justice Department to release records the American public is owed by statute. Members of Congress have released documents and reports. Most recently, Senator Lindsey Graham has finally produced something for the public’s consumption after years of talking about accountability and holding hearings. Acting ODNI Richard Grenell released dozens of Russia probe records. Again – these releases are practically “historical” in nature. They come years after the subject events. That is quite unlike the lightening-fast Intelligence Community Inspector General (phony) complaint over Ukraine that saw President Trump impeached by the House of Representatives in roughly two months. It seems like there are differing standards and timelines for “justice” in official Washington, DC.

Seasoned investigators and attorneys can take the publicly available records and assemble sufficient facts, documentation and evidence to meet the legal threshold (“probable cause”) for successfully presenting a bill of indictment to a grand jury. Like most discretionary decisions and exercises of governmental power, it really comes down to political will. Do Barr and/or Durham have the stomach to seek the indictment of people like James Comey, John Brennan, Andy McCabe and (many) others?

Indictments have a way of getting a target’s attention. They focus the mind. Perhaps the indictment of certain key persons would result in a sudden and compelling desire for them to be forthright and cooperative with prosecutors? Various former government officials may wish to explain what really happened and who really knew what and when. Lesser characters on the DC stage may seek greater billing or not be happy with their role as a patsy. No doubt others would resort to having “no specific recollection at this time.” That’s OK. Prosecutors can still get to proof beyond a reasonable doubt, even with faulty memories.

So-called “journalists” may wish to return to their lost arts and pursue stories previously dropped down the Memory Hole. There might just be a rush to set the record straight and expel the miasma of deception, disinformation, and distraction.

Ask yourself why AG Barr fights Judicial Watch in virtually every FOIA lawsuit seeking records over the Obamagate coup plot. Why does he permit the FBI to claim in court that their agents’ text messages on their government phones are not government records? That’s insultingly preposterous – but it is the Justice Department’s position. Your tax dollars in action.

One thing is for certain: Should Barr/Durham not bring indictments and go to trial against the officials who organized the coup against President Trump, then the United States will become a “failed state.” The compromised justice system would be held in contempt by the people it was designed to protect.

Chris Farrell is director of investigations and research at Judicial Watch, a nonprofit government watchdog. He was previously a military intelligence officer.

  126. The other reason for delay is that the scope of the conspiracy is much broader than anticipated initially, AND it reached into every agency of the Obama Administration. Hence, you could delay accountability indefinitely and never get to the bottom of it. Therefore, a practical judgement must be rendered to move forward now against those whose culpability is clear in the public mind. To Durham I would say this: Full speed ahead and damned the torpedoes.

  127. (Revised above. Specifically, I was too quick to dismiss the prohibition against bringing indictments in an election year as a quaint custom, honored more in the breach than in the observance, etc. It dawned on me later that there is a presumptive rationale, which I needed to take cognizance of, and then rebut, as this re-draft endeavors to do.)
    ———-

Tom Fitton is the spokesman for Judicial Watch– and a superb one he is.

Chris Farrell is the lion behind the scene at that organization.

Chris was so far ahead of the game, that they banned him on FOX, so the Murdock Boys could resume their dalliances with the denizens of the deep state.

In Washington, i.e. the New Rome, it is not enough to be rich.

One must also be popular, just like the Soros sons, who are now the toast of Manhattan.

Here, Chris gives us the truth, with the bark off–as he always does.

The bottom line here is not where is Hunter, but where is Durham?

If Durham delays the day of reckoning much longer, it will be a clue to more.

Like the Sherlock Holmes observation about the dog that did not bark.

Granted, a defender of Durham, like me for example, would be quick to point out that the legal process is slow

And complex investigations like this one take time to connect all the dots,

And in the end, the prosecutor must prove whatever case he brings beyond reasonable doubt.

The problem with that defense however is so much of the evidence is sitting there now in plain view that the perceived failure to act upon it undermines the rule of law.

Moreover, the continuing refusal by the head of the FBI and others to cooperate with the investigation confirms that widely held suspicion.

Let me be perfectly clear: I do not question Durham’s commitment to the rule of law or his integrity.

Most of us, who are not blind partisans can look to his track record and stipulate to that.

Nor is he a bitter partisan who has no allegiance to the law, proven by the fact that the prior administration used him to investigate the Bush Administration’s CIA.

What I worry about is whether Durham is trying to build a perfect case.

If so, then the old adage applies, i.e. perfect is the enemy of good.

Furthermore, I worry that he has discovered, as we all have , that the conspiracy is much broader than we realized initially.

Indeed, it appears to have metastasized into every agency of the Obama Administration, as well as the media, and the Oval office itself.

Therefore, there are more doors to open, more leads to be explored, more traitors to identify and corner.

In that case, however, you may never get to the bottom of it, hence a practical judgement when to stop investigating and issue the initial indictments must be made.

Finally, I worry that he may be constrained by the often repeated, but never actually established rule of thumb that the Justice Department is loathe to bring indictments in an election year.

The presumptive rationale for this rule is understandable, insofar as it deters the bringing of false charges to influence an election..

But it must not be blindly applied, when there is clear, cogent and convincing evidence of treason as there is here.

For in in a democracy the people are entitled to understand what happened before they vote,

So they can make an INFORMED choice between the two parties when they cast their ballot.

    Whatever customs this may violate,

Whatever embarrassment it may cause to demi-gods in high places,

Whatever hyper partisan pushback it may engender in these hyper partisan times

Are as nothing compared to the harm done to democracy if justice is delayed

Simply put, the entire premise of representative democracy demands action now.

Whatever cards are left on the table, whatever avenues for further investigation are foreclosed for now,

Durham must , repeat must, issue indictments before Labor Day.

To that end, here is Chris Farrell, the lion of Judicial Watch:

The recent attacks and allegations against Carlson seem very coordinated.

Well . . . its better than being ignored. I think he welcomes it. And while the Murdock Boys would like nothing better than to get rid of him and make the problem go away, their bottom line constrains them from doing so, and unlike others he will not be bribed with a lucrative settlement package. JB do you remember the old saying never get in a pissing contest with someone who buys ink by the barrel, I think it applies in spades here, because everytime they attack he exposes them FOR- WHAT- THEY- ARE.

  129. Agree wbboei. He presumably knows what’s coming and is trying to expose as much as possible before the gauntlet falls.

  130. “‘[H]e shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.’ . . . The Constitution says the president shall perform this obligation. We’re not talking about an option or something he may do or not do as he sees fit. It is a solemn duty. California and Az feeling that also

    Just my two cents

  132. Mexican? Yea, it is everything except 30,000 watts in your face. There were reports of men dropping in the street in New Orleans. Do you understand that 60 GHz is an unlicensed band? And that you will not likely know if someone decides to use it on people. It can be Wuhan anywhere.

Not only were they rioters not social distancing, but they were doing it in 5G cities. Lots of pulsed high power directional beams for downloads. And then I am sure they would all be sent on the testing clinic circuit for pay.

    Gonzo
What do you think has caused the rise in cases in Texas?
    —————-
As a Texas resident, here’s my take on it.

The rise started right after Memorial Day, when school let out for the summer, and bars reopened.

Most of the new cases in the cities (Dallas, Houston, and Austin) are younger people.

To me, it looks like a bunch of young people said, “Fuck this quarantine. School’s out. I wanna party with my friends. If I get sick, so what? I’m young and healthy. I’ll be fine.”

We are also now seeing a spike in our counties on the Mexican border. As Gonzo said, I suspect this is due to sick Mexicans coming over the border to get medical care in the U.S.

Whatever the cause, while the surge is real, it is not nearly as bad as the Fake News would have you believe.

  137. My take on the Durham investigation:

I don’t care how long it takes him to bring indictments, as long as he eventually brings them.

I want to see justice done.

If indictments happen before the election, that would be nice, but it wouldn’t make much difference in the election results.

My Trump-hating friends have told me they consider Durham and Barr hopelessly corrupt, and would consider any indictments brought against Comey et al. to be fraudulent, politically motivated, and meaningless.

Indictments might sway a few undecided swing voters. That’s all.

  138. You should care because if President Trump doesn’t win, those investigations are null, void, laughable, stick a fork in them, zero, 0, done

  139. imo…

PDT, his campaign, the GOP & Trump supporters need to start formulating a plan & strategy to combat what increasingly becomes apparent is the Dems, the media & the mobs strategy…

imo…what is going on now is beyond anything most of us have ever seen…

the Dems are now planting the idea they are in effect assuming PDT will lose the election & not leave the office, he may even use the “special forces” to stay in the WH

in which case as Pelosi says they will “fumigate” him out & as Holder, all of MSNBC, the anti-Trumpers, the Lincoln Project, etc are all co-ordinated and saying & drumming into the ethers, there are forces that might have to be used to remove him…they are actively saying that they will forcibly remove him from the WH they are feeding the mob with this red meat

the anti-Trump mob, just include all of the above in that term for brevity, is trying to marginalize & minimize PDT’s “Law & Order” by morphing that into PDT is a Dictator & Authoritarian using secret military force over states & elected officials

the anti-Trump mob is also trying to NORMALIZE the concept of MAIL IN Ballots, not ABSENTEE Ballots…but full out random & indiscriminate MAIL OUT ballots to non confirmed voters & addresses…this is INSANITY but all we hear in rebuttal is a few words from PDT…this needs a full on attack & campaign so people understand fraud & it must be stopped

and finally I have never heard such nasty & hateful language coming from Dem officials…it is like they really have been taken over by the Devil…they throw “racist” around like it is candy…ugly, ugly stuff coming from them How dare Biden call PDT a racist? but this is how they roll

the anti-Trump mob has a whole strategy already in motion that is based on lies & misinformation & they are all coordinating those lies & false information & repeating it all over & over again so it goes into the brains of the voting psyche

imo…there is not, at this point, a strong enough counterattack to all those lies & misinformation…PDT’s campaign needs to fortify…fight like General Grant…because alot of the good PDT is accomplishing is getting shouted over & instead a lot of people are being brainwashed into hating PDT

(i am seeing this on twitter when you attempt to separate the lies from the media & Dem onslaught & differentiate with logic & facts of policy there are people who will change their mind…but PDT’s campaign has to REACH out to them PDT’s campaign has to help navigate people thru the confusion to HIS/our side…there are voters who can be brought in if they are approached with logic & the misinformation is countered…NOT all, some & we need the undecided & independents…and moderate dems

the mob will use antifa & BLM to riot…I won’t be surprised to see them at certain voting places etc…this mob is organized & ready for blood

    imo…PDT’s messaging & pushbback…at this point…is weak…

first, he doesn’t need to do his Covid updates every day…

KEEP them SHORT! He starts getting himself off message when he belabors answering every little stupid question from the press…How many more questions will he answer about masks?

…He should be using a teleprompter, much better optics than him standing there looking down & reading from notes…the emotional connection doing it that way is very bland…He can do much better (what was the deal wishing Ghislaine Maxwell well??? this is where he goes off into left field & media is there to bait him to do so…Brief & just a few questions & out!)

Remember during the Bill Clinton campaign…the WAR ROOM & opposition research…he had IMMEDIATE pushback on any attacks…when I saw that back in the day I said to myself WE Dems finally have a FIGHTER & a winner…he had spokespeople, Carville etc that would immediately shoot down attacks that today routinely are lobbed at PDT & I don’t see or hear much swing back…some but not enough for this battle…

bottom line, the anti-Trump mob is going to stop at nothing to get PDT out of the WH, they have a militant & no holes barred approach and there is no insult or tactic out of bounds…

the irony is WE have to be prepared for him winning…because these people are dangerous…and freaking crazy!

I am not seeing PDT’s campaign for re-election yet…I am seeing him do alot of work, much of what does not get covered so frankly hardly anyone knows about it…

yesterday & Operation LeGend is a perfect example…LeGend’s mother was the epitome of the purpose of what PDT is trying to accomplish…she is so sympathetic & inspiring…a perfect spokeswoman…yet for the few people who saw her on OAN or FOX very few people know she exists…they should highlight her to reach out to the black community…beautiful young mother whose 4 yr old was shot right in his own home from a stray bullet

  140. this is a better clip of the young mother at the WH yesterday, the one above forwarded to another story

Mother of LeGend Taliferro: "Operation Legend is not to harass, it's not to harm, or to hurt. It is to help investigate unsolved murders, which one of those happens to be our innocent 4-year-old son … I stand here today as a mother, fighting against violence for my son." pic.twitter.com/cPChXvZJHE— The White House (@WhiteHouse) July 23, 2020

  141. S
Trump needs to get Navarro out there everyday
    He’s great or Steven Miller

They need to be his hot men

The daily press briefings are just ridiculous

Navarro or if Grenell would only come back and be his spokes person!

But I do see a lot of ads in Texas

He has no one really and he’s working his ass off. The RNC, McConnell, they are all working against him

WE have to be his voice… WE

  142. There is a picture of President Trump on the golf course and Lord, I think he’s eating 3 scoops of ice cream

I get it, I eat crazy when I’m anxious, I use to lose my appetite… wish it were so… sugar is a drug

  143. Actually S, I don’t know how he’s going to get his message out, the media won’t televise his addresses, he can’t have rally’s, only thing he has is his China virus info commercials…
The media loved having him on TV for ratings because they thought he would never win, now they don’t care about low ratings, they are supported by the globalist, money is not an issue, they will keep him off the air, print only thing he has left is a few shots on Fox and the radio…

  144. And he needs to start exercising and calorie restrictions, I’m sorry, but for his own health, I knew he gained but I was really taken aback by the pictures and I fear for him and thusly for us

We need him, God do we need him…

  145. Watched Trump’s daily presser on Covid-19.

Looked like Dr. Birx was there, sitting next to Kayleigh McEnany, but she didn’t speak. This time.

Interesting heat map showing the Covid-19 hot spots in the Sunbelt. Also a few in the Northwest.

Trump announced that he’s canceling the Jacksonville portion of the GOP convention.

Good move. It could easily have turned into another Tulsa-esque disaster.

Our POTUS is surrounded by traitors and you think the Durham investigation is about a few votes? Really?

    But Trump won’t lose.

Now President Trump can’t even have a Convention…
    ——————–
Neither can the Dems. No biggie.

History shows that both parties get a temporary, and equal, bounce from their conventions.

The convention is a celebration, not a game-changer.

There will still be an online convention.

So we can watch the speeches on TV.

    Like we always do.

  149. And the BLM globalist fascist communists are actually celebrating on Twitter…

    Nothing but pigs…

  150. OMG Fauci throws the first pitch in MLB
    —-
First he poses for a magazine in penny loafers

Now he throws the first pitch at a baseball game

And now he says we will never cure the cona virus.

You don’t suppose any of this has gone to his head

    Do you?

The only thing he has to worry about is saying something positive about Trump on an open mic.

Then you would see the fastest fall from grace

And back into the bowels of the bureaucracy he would go.

Hollywood is working on a movie on him.

Entitled the Doctor Who Saved the World And Struck Out The New York Yankees.

    In the words of director John Ford;

When the legend collides with the truth, print the legend.

And big media does that so long as it fits their corrupt anti American narrative.

Meanwhile Tucker gave Don Lee Mon the accolate he deserves:

The slowest mind on cable television.

And thanks to him even Fredo has a new name: steroid brain.

By now they are tired of receiving Pulitzers for heroic journalistic endeavors like the Russia hoax

They will have to move some of their pulizers aside on the living room mantle

To make room for these new awards.

If it gets too tight in there Fredo may have to move his weight training equipment and mirrors down to the basement.

  151. I am sure he was a great basketball player too.

    And so goes the legend.

He gave up a career in baseball to dedicate his life to medicine.

And along with Robert Gallo stole a few patents from others along the way.

As you can see from the video he is true athlete who never lost his edge.

Big media calls that pitch his worm raper, and it fits in their culture of kneeling.

  152. Hannity seems desperate . Telling Durham that’s it’s time to release his findings is going to have the opposite effect. Trump appearing more often via phone on Hannity also a bit awkward as well. Needs to pump money on national spots. By the way, Fox must be getting a ton of $$$ from those Lincoln anti Trump spots as they appear quite often .

  153. So True!

Obama, who wouldn’t even endorse Biden until everyone else was out of the primaries (and even then waited a long time!), is now making a commercial of support. Remember, I wouldn’t even be here if it weren’t for them. I wouldn’t be President. They did a terrible job!

  154. Did you see the clip of Cuomo in Georgia without a mask? And I don’t think he quarantined himself in NY when he returned. Hypocrite in chief of the state.

  155. I was wondering why things were being posted on Mollie Hemingway’s twitter retweeted Kimberley Stassel

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2020/07/wall-street-journal-refuses-to-take-a-knee-to-internal-woke-mob/

Does anyone understand the connection between WSJ and GPS Fusion?

The founders of Fusion GPS cut their research teeth in investigative journalism for prominent American and British publications. A Vanity Fair story on the Christopher Steele dossier reports that Fusion GPS was founded by Glenn Simpson, a former investigative reporter with The Wall Street Journal known for his “tenacity, meticulousness, cynicism…obsession with operational secrecy.”

GPS Fusion is the political hit man for the CIA and WSJ. The relationship is incestual.

I agree Gonzo & Peter Navarro & Grennell are excellent suggestions…Navarro has the kahunas of Carville although much more articulate imo & Grennell…can’t say enough about him…smart as a whip

I want to see PDT’s people pushback & give examples to substantiate what they are saying…for example

pushback on he’s a racist…and list 1,2,3,4,5 examples including maybe personal slice of life examples (he gave a busdriver $10G for helping someone in need, examples pre presidency; pictures of him with Rosa Parks, Mohammed Ali, etc)

pushback on MAIL IN BALLOTS…and list 1,2,3,4,5 ACTUAL examples of Fraud & Convictions…it is not enough to just say MAIL IN BALLOTS BAD explain why & give examples…have rapid fire examples of Fraud 1,2,3,4,5

compare & contrast PDT & Biden on China

pushback on COVID…I think they are trying to get their act together on this…stay on message & again rapid fire results…& always inc what Dems were doing at onset of Virus… Dem House of Rep was impeaching PDT & NOT ONE DEBATE QUESTION in all the debates with 17 candidates on COVID virus Dems were MIA…

imo…his team needs to come up with a fantastic spot about School Choice & contrast to Biden saying he will get rid of all charter schools & run the spot continuously in minority communities…Let them now they have hope for better education for their kids w PDT
    Promises made…Promises kept

rinse & repeat…rapid fire…pushback has to counter & kill Dem talking points & replace what you get with PDT into voter’s brains

flood Social Media & target spots nationally with rapid fire contrasts

note…seeing a bit of the good cop bad cop coming to life within PDT…he is softening his tone on some issues to bring in common sense voters & women…school, safety, etc…that’s a good move…imo, a little bit of honey can go a long way

  157. Trumps announcement today on lowering drug prices is HUGE. Medicare is the largest purchaser of drugs in the world and will be allowed to negotiate. We will pay the same prices as the lowest prices negotiated by Europe, Canada etc.
The local news hasn’t even covered it yet…..unbelievable.

  158. It is not Motorcycles. Mexicans or drug prices that are destroying the country. And if you do not think the Durham investigation is critical you have not been paying attention. Is our Attorney General a puppet of the global elite and the deep state? Has Trump made a deal with the wrong devil, only to be rooked? How are people to get back to work in levels of microwaves 1,000 – 10,000X natural levels? You think that is for your faster downloads?

Military use of microwave radiation – as weapons

The American military wanted to develop microwave radiation weapons. This is all documented. They, put together and compiled a whole series of compendia in the 1970’s and the 1980’s of all the bodies biological effects to microwave radiation – because they wanted to develop microwave weapons. We have this information, because it has been declassified and a lot of these studies came from the Soviet Union. There were thousands of studies listed.

Video: The 5G Space Weapon, Mind Control Agenda & Kill Grid

In 1973 the World Health Organisation – which is part of the United Nations – held a symposium of which the title was

The Biologic affect and health hazards of Microwave Radiation. So this shows that there were and are biological effects.

Note that in 1976 there is a document emanating from the US military – stating – It’s not desirable to have adequate public exposure limits – because this would impede the development of weapons and also impede the profit of industry. (The military Industrial complex).

Weapons Expert Barry Trower, calls this the saddest and most despicable document in history.

So this has all been suppressed (surprised?)

The International Commision on Non Ionising Radiation Protection insists that there are no biological effects and that there are only heating effects. This is what is called the ‘thermal hypothesis.’

The basis of the thermal hypothesis means that if you simply hold your phone away from your body, it cannot be heating you – and therefore you are going to be relatively safe. This is not the case because these frequencies are alien to our biology and it will interfere with our whole bodies biological system because our body functions electrically.

That exposing ourselves to microwave radiation is essentially killing our body. That is why the US military wanted to develop microwave radiation weapons – in order to kill!

Note that over the last 25 years with mobile phones and wireless technology we are now all immersed – 24/7 .

  159. Optimist

Of course the news has t covered it

It’s what I have been saying , Trump can’t get the message out of all his good deeds because every and I mean every avenue of communication has been taken from him

  160. Hmm…supposively Trump is having a meeting with Pharmaceutical executives next week so he has not implemented this executive order, I say the most important order…

Trump explained that the fourth executive order, if implemented, would target the issue of how the exact same drugs cost more in the U.S. compared to other countries such as Germany. Trump said Medicare would be required to purchase drugs at the same price other countries pay.

“We aren’t even allowed to negotiate the price of drugs, can you believe it?” he asked. “We’re restricted by Congress.”

Trump said the world probably looks at the U.S. and says, “Where the hell did these people come from?”

  161. Roberts must be considered a liberal Judge at this point. More reason than ever to get Trump re-elected.

  162. What an obscene joke, lower Medicare costs as the country is driven into illness by his mass surveillance, mind control, war and death radiation system. Hello, is anybody home? We are dying here. More towers every day. We have a nightmare in Miami. And no indictments for these traitors an murderers in sight.

We worry about them for your sake. They are meaningless at this point. Their sole purpose is to drive an anti Trump headline. They are, in short, nothing to get depressed about. They did the same thing with Reagan, A few weeks before the election the polls had “the Duke” up above Reagan by 17 points. Reagan beat the little Patton wannabe in a landslide. If you want to worry about something, then worry about something real–like massive voter fraud.

Correct me if I am wrong, but given what the democrats and media did after the last election

Wouldn’t that be a better question for him to ask Biden, the dims, and the corrupt media.

The form of the question would be modified slightly to read as follows:

What will you and your allies do this time around when you lose the 2020 election?

That would survive an objection argumentative and assumes facts not in evidence

Unless Judge Sullivan, or Amy Jackson were presiding, in which case it would depend entirely on whether the moving party had a D or an R behind his name.

Because that is ALL those two nit wits understand.

Trump really is in this alone, almost every Republican is looking out for #1 because , well that’s what they always do, and they want to keep their jobs if a blood bath occurs…

And they are doing nothing to helpTrump and now the media refuses to show his news conferences, he can’t have rally’s, only really has conservative radio…

I would not get too upset about that Gonzo. Ted will come back to the fold when Trump’s numbers improve which they will once he goes nose to nose and toes to toes with the delusional joebiden. Cruz is smart enough to know that if Trump loses, they will all go down in smoke. Besides which, he has aspirations for 2024. Right now, the only reliable poll (Rassmussen) has him right where that jerk off Obama was at this point. Therefore, I am more inclined to keep my powder dry. As for Rubin, he is a Trump supporter. No poll showing Trump down at this period of time is worth a tinkers damn.

This is not China or Mexico doing something to us. The enemy is within. I can only believe Trump is true because of their attacks on him. We must not leave this fight to him alone. 186. Steyn is a pessimist who believes western civilization is doomed. At times, he sounds even like a defeatist. We should not accept his conclusions at face value, when he says we will not fight back against the violence, open borders, drug abuse, destruction of the black communities, high taxes, destruction of suburbs, etc. which epitomize the democrat party. I made a mistake the other day when I dismissed Ari Fleisure’s comment that the pivotal issue in the election will be the corona virus, and regardless of Biden’s glaring deficiencies , and the destructive nature of his policies, he issue in the upcoing election will be not can Biden handle it, but has Trump failed to handle it. Ed Rollins has delivered a similar message which is obviously one neither I nor Lou Dobbs wanted to hear which lead to a donny brook between the two of them. Regardless of what I think, President Trump has heard what they are saying and has changed his message to a very sober one stressing that this virus is a big problem and focusing on it more than ever, while avoiding the more optimistic comments he has made previously. Fleisher has noticed this change, applauds it and say once we get this under control then the momentum will shift back to him going into the election.

  187. Meanwhile, the dims are tying the hands of the police, ignoring the violence that is occurring in their cities and trying to blame it on President Trump. In effect, ANTIFA and BLM are the Waffen SS of the democrat party. This is not a case of first impression. Their use of violence to win elections evokes memories of Tamany Hall which used the gangsters like Monk Eastman and Paul Kelly thugs to harass and intimidate voters, and this did not end until Fioloretta La Guardia (the little flower) was elected mayor to clean up the corruption of his predecessor Jimmy Walker. The deal the dims have made with ANTIFA is a Faustian Bargain, whereby the dims get power and the left gets green new deal, open borders, and the entire destruction of the country, In that sense, the dims are riding the tiger, and will either achieve victory or total and complete oblivion as a party. This will test H.L. Menken’s observation that nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American People. But my point here is a larger one which as nothing to do with intellect, but survival itself. If the public realizes that the democrats are hell bent on destroying them, it will backfire on them badly, And maybe, if we are fortunate, the NYT and WashPo will be among the casualties.

  188. And to be clear, I meant the destruction of those two corrupt newspapers institutionally– and personally. They must be viewed for the pariahs they truly are. Comparisons to Weimar Germany are apt.

  189. Final point.

The democrat plan is to win the election by winning the suburbs.

They have been perfectly frank about that.

    However

If you saw Mark Levin last night, then you know they have a big problem.

During the dark ages of the Obama presidency, under the pretext of the Fair Housing Act, they have targeted the suburbs for low income high density buildings, the elimination of the single family dwelling concept, the creation of a regional political body to strip the rights of those living in the suburbs and double or triple their property taxes.

There is precedent for this as well. When Lenin took over the Soviet Union, he realized that people with money would flee the country, and it would lose its economic base, therefore he must expand Bolshevism throughout the world. The democrats have become Birkshire Bolsheviks in their own right, so it is hardly surprising that they would adopt the same idea,

Knowing that, how likely do you think virtue signalling liberals in the suburbs will be to support Biden? This is not some pie in the sky idea. They did exactly that in Westchester County. The Republican Party and the campaign must make suburbanites fully aware that if they vote for Biden they will soon see all the problems of the inner city coming to their neighborhood.

This morning, the WSJ had a short article of this in their editorial page, which never would have appeared if Levin had not devoted his entire show to it the night before, and President Trump has to his credit abolished this ultra vires expansion of the Fair Housing Act for now.

  190. The other shocking Shocking SHOCKING thing we learned today from Devin Nunez is the identity of Steele’s source. Turns out it is The Brookings Institution, which is a left wing so called think tank which is closely identified with the democrat party, like the American Enterprise Institute (with that fucking obnoxious Norman Orstein) is with the RINOs. The whole Russia collusion hoax was a figment of their imagination, and the only one who has not yet tapped his way to that obvious conclusion is light in the loafers Lindsey Graham who is a joke.

  191. Let us hope that President Trump and his advisors were watching Tucker Carlson closely last night because as he showed live pictures of the burning and looting of democrat run cities he was careful not to call them protestors–none of them can lay any valid claim to that status any longer because by remaining out on the streets they either commit or give cover to those who are creating the destruction. Nor did he call them rioters or a mob, because those terms are now in common usage and they do not move the needle. What he did instead, Admin, was as he showed picture of them destroying property and attacking people was this. HE CALLED THEM BIDEN VOTERS! Politically speaking that was genius. First of all, Biden campaign people have been bailing these people out of jail, therefore they are at the very least accessories after the fact, politically speaking. Second, it places Biden and his supporters in a box where they either have to condemn the violence committed by their Waffen SS storm troopers, and alienate their core constituency. Or else, they have to remain silent and continue their lame attempt to blame the president for their own malfeasance and misfeasance/ and alienate others. And for those who cast their votes not for valid reasons, but as an exercise in virtue signalling, it is hard to find virtue in their support for the destruction of our way of life. Now then, having said that, WHY is the Republican Party not calling these rioters Biden supporters? Why haven’t they figured this out?? Why is it left to a FOX News pundit who is a libertarian who supports the constitution and see what is happening to see through the fog of war to the path to victory. If we label these domestic terrorist Biden supporter, which by the way they are, because he is the empty vessel they have filled with red ink, those who virtue signal by declaring their support for him will be seen for the reprehensible creatures they are.

  192. The other thing that needs to happen is it must be made clear to the rioters that when they attack federal property, they will not only be arrested, but they will spend their golden years at one of the Super Max prisons which the Bureau of Prisons maintains for its worst offenders across the country. Its not enough, but it is the best we have this side of the Gulag. And their ACLU lawyers can go there with them if it were my decision. That organization which was created by a friend of Lenin’s–Roger Baldwin, is no defender of the Constitution. Whatever it may have been in the past, whatever about it may have attracted some who believed in the constitution, today it is a lost cause, and an ally of anyone on the left who wants to destroy us. Professor Van Alstein at Duke and many of his fellow liberals came to that realization fifty years ago when the organization embraced affirmative action over MLK rejection of communism and his commitment to equality of opportunity as opposed to equality of opportunity. They left the organization and the Bolsheviks took over.

  193. When Barr appears before the House Judiciary Committee today, it looks like he intends to come out swinging:

Written Statement of William P. Barr, Attorney
    General Committee on the Judiciary
    U.S. House of Representatives
    July 28, 2020

Chairman Nadler, Ranking Member Jordan, Members of the Committee, I am pleased to be here this morning. I accepted an invitation to testify before this Committee in late March, but it was postponed as a result of the pandemic that continues to pose challenges to us all. I know some other hearings this week have been postponed to honor your late colleague, Congressman John Lewis of Georgia. On behalf of the Department of Justice, I want to pay my respects toCongressman Lewis, an indomitable champion of civil rights and the rule of law. I think it is especially important to remember today that he pursued his cause passionately and successfully with an unwavering commitment to nonviolence.

We are in a time when the political discourse in Washington often reflects the politically divided nation in which we live, and too often drives that divide even deeper. Political rhetoric is inherent in our democratic system, and politics is to be expected by politicians, especially in an election year. While that may be appropriate here on Capitol Hill or on cable news, it is not acceptable at the Department of Justice. At the Department, decisions must be made with no regard to political pressure—pressure from either end of Pennsylvania Avenue, or from the media or mobs.

Ever since I made it clear that I was going to do everything I could to get to the bottom of the grave abuses involved in the bogus “Russiagate” scandal, many of the Democrats on this Committee have attempted to discredit me by conjuring up a narrative that I am simply the President’s factotum who disposes of criminal cases according to his instructions. Judging from the letter inviting me to this hearing, that appears to be your agenda today. So let me turn to that first.

As I said in my confirmation hearing, the Attorney General has a unique obligation. He holds in trust the fair and impartial administration of justice. He must ensure that there is one standard of justice that applies to everyone equally and that criminal cases are handled even-handedly, based on the law and the facts, and without regard to political or personal considerations.I can tell you that I have handled criminal matters that have come to me for decision in this way

The President has not attempted to interfere in these decisions. On the contrary, he has told me from the start that he expects me to exercise my independent judgment to make whatever call I think is right. That is precisely what I have done. From my experience, the President has played a role properly and traditionally played by Presidents. Like his predecessors, President Trump and his National Security Council have appropriately weighed in on law-enforcement decisions that directly implicate national security or foreign policy, because those decisions necessarily involve considerations that transcend typical prosecutorial factors.

Moreover, when some noteworthy event occurs that potentially has legal ramifications – such as leaks of classified information, potential civil rights abuses by police, or illegal price fixing or gouging – the President has occasionally, and appropriately, confirmed that the Department is aware of the matter. But the handling of the matter and my decisions on criminal matters have been left to my independent judgment, based on the law and fact, without any direction or interference from the White House or anyone outside the Department.

Indeed, it is precisely because I feel complete freedom to do what I think is right that induced me serve once again as Attorney General. As you know, I served as Attorney General under President George H. W. Bush. After that, I spent many years in the corporate world. I was almost 70 years old, slipping happily into retirement as I enjoyed my grandchildren. I had nothing to prove and had no desire to return to government. I had no prior relationship with President Trump.

But as an outsider I became deeply troubled by what I perceived as the increasing use of the criminal justice process as a political weapon and the emergence of two separate standards of justice. The Department had been drawn into the political maelstrom and was being buffeted on all sides. When asked to consider returning, I did so because I revere the Department and believed my independence would allow me to help steer her back to her core mission of applying one standard of justice for everyone and enforcing the law even-handedly, without partisan considerations.

Since returning to the Department, I have done precisely that. My decisions on criminal matters before the Department have been my own, and they have been made because I believed they were right under the law and principles of justice. Let me turn briefly to several pressing issues of the day.

The horrible killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis understandably jarred the whole country and forced us to reflect on longstanding issues in our nation. Those issues obviously relate to the relationship between law enforcement and the African-American community. Given our history it is understandable that, among black Americans, there is at least some ambivalence, and often distrust, toward the police. Until just the last 50 years or so, our laws and institutions were explicitly discriminatory. It was not until the 60’s that the Civil Rights movement finally succeeded in tearing down the Jim Crow edifice. Our laws finally came to formally embody the guarantee of equal protection. Since then, the work of securing civil rights has rightly focused on reforming our institutions to ensure they better conform to our laws and aspirations.

That work, it is important to acknowledge, has been increasingly successful. Police forces today are far more diverse than ever before; there are both more black police chiefs and more black officers in the ranks. Although the death of George Floyd – an unarmed black man – at the hands of the police was a shocking event, the fact is that such events are fortunately quite rare. According to statistics compiled by the Washington Post, the number of unarmed black men killed by police so far this year is 8. The number of unarmed white men killed by police over the same time period is 11. Some unarmed suspects, moreover, were physically attacking officers or threatening others at the time they were shot. And the overall number of police shootings has been decreasing. Nevertheless, every instance of excessive force is unacceptable and must be addressed, as is happening now in Minneapolis.

Apart from their numbers, I think these events strike a deep chord in the black community because they are perceived as manifestation of the deeper, lingering concern that, in encounters with police, blacks will not be treated even-handedly; they will not be given the benefit of the doubt; they will be treated with greater suspicion than a white person would be in the same circumstances. Senator Tim Scott has recounted the numerous times he has been unjustifiably pulled over on Capitol Hill. As one prominent black professional in Washington said to me, African Americans often feel “treated as suspects first and citizens second.” I think these concerns are legitimate.

At the same time, I think it would be an oversimplification to treat the problem as rooted in some deep-seated racism generally infecting our police departments. It seems far more likely that the problem stems from a complex mix of factors, which can be addressed with focused attention over time. We in law enforcement must be conscious of the concerns and ensure that we do not have two different systems of justice.

In a pluralistic society like ours, composed of many races and ethnicities, we all must strive not to reduce each other to stereotypes or to allow those stereotypes to govern our treatment of our fellow citizens. Rather, we have a basic and overriding obligation to treat each other as individuals, created equal and entitled to the benefit of the doubt rather than assumptions based on skin color.

A recommitment to that principle, particularly by those entrusted with the weighty responsibilities of law enforcement, would be a worthy response to George Floyd’s death. It would ensure that good comes out of bad. The Justice Department will honor that commitment. Among other steps, we are implementing the President’s Executive Order, which outlines a number of measures to propel continued professionalization of the police, including setting clear standards for appropriate use of force.

Unfortunately, some have chosen to respond to George Floyd’s death in a far less productive way – by demonizing the police, promoting slogans like ACAB (All Cops AreBastards), and making grossly irresponsible proposals to defund the police. The demonization of police is not only unfair and inconsistent with the principle that all people should be treated as individuals, but gravely injurious to our inner city communities.

There is no harder job in America today than being a police officer. When officers respond to an emergency, whether a catastrophe like 9/11 or an everyday crime, they do not set out to protect white people or black people. They risk and sometimes give their lives to protect and serve all people, and all people owe them thanks. When a community turns on and pillories its own police, officers naturally become more risk averse and crime rates soar.

Unfortunately, we are seeing that now in many of our major cities. This is a critical problem that exists apart from disagreements on other issues. The threat to black lives posed by crime on the streets is massively greater than any threat posed by police misconduct. The leading cause of death for young black males is homicide. Every year approximately 7,500 black Americans are victims of homicide, and the vast majority of them –around 90 percent – are killed by other blacks, mainly by gunfire. Each of those lives matter.

And it is not just that crime snuffs out lives. Crime snuffs out opportunity. Children cannot thrive in playgrounds and schools dominated by gangs and drug pushers. Businesses do not locate in unsafe neighborhoods. When the police are attacked, when they are defunded, when they are driven out of urban communities, it is black lives that will suffer most from their absence.

It is for that reason that, in select cities where there has been an upsurge in violent crime, we are stepping up and bolstering the activities of our joint anti-crime task forces, which have been successful in the past. In those cities, we are adding experienced investigators, firearms and ballistics analysts, and experts at apprehending violent fugitives. We are also offering funding to support more police who can be assigned to these anti-crime task forces. To be clear, this initiative has nothing to do with the problem of violent mob rioting that I will discuss in a moment; it is instead designed to help state and local law enforcement to meet their basic responsibility to solve crimes and keep their communities safe.

Finally, I want to address a different breakdown in the rule of law that we have witnessed over the past two months. In the wake of George Floyd’s death, violent rioters and anarchists have hijacked legitimate protests to wreak senseless havoc and destruction on innocent victims. The current situation in Portland is a telling example. Every night for the past two months, a mob of hundreds of rioters has laid siege to the federal courthouse and other nearby federal property. The rioters arrive equipped for a fight, armed with powerful slingshots, tasers, sledgehammers, saws, knives, rifles, and explosive devices. Inside the courthouse are a relatively small number of federal law enforcement personnel charged with a defensive mission: to protect the courthouse, home to Article III federal judges, from being overrun and destroyed.

What unfolds nightly around the courthouse cannot reasonably be called a protest; it is, by any objective measure, an assault on the Government of the United States. In recent nights, rioters have barricaded the front door of the courthouse, pried plywood off the windows with crowbars, and thrown commercial-grade fireworks into the building in an apparent attempt to burn it down with federal personnel inside. The rioters have started fires outside the building, and then systematically attacked federal law enforcement officers who attempt to put them out—for example, by pelting the officers with rocks, frozen water bottles, cans of food, and balloons filled with fecal matter.

A recent video showed a mob enthusiastically beating a Deputy U.S. Marshal who was trying to protect the courthouse – a property of the United States government funded by this Congress – from further destruction. A number of federal officers have been injured, including one severely burned by a mortar-style firework and three who have suffered serious eye injuries and may be permanently blind.

Largely absent from these scenes of destruction are even superficial attempts by the rioters to connect their actions to George Floyd’s death or any legitimate call for reform. Nor could such brazen acts of lawlessness plausibly be justified by a concern that police officers in Minnesota or elsewhere defied the law. Remarkably, the response from many in the media and local elected offices to this organized assault has been to blame the federal government.

To state what should be obvious, peaceful protesters do not throw explosives into federal courthouses, tear down plywood with crowbars, or launch fecal matter at federal officers. Such acts are in fact federal crimes under statutes enacted by this Congress. As elected officials of the federal government, every Member of this Committee – regardless of your political views or your feelings about the Trump Administration – should condemn violence against federal officers and destruction of federal property. So should state and local leaders who have a responsibility to keep their communities safe.

To tacitly condone destruction and anarchy is to abandon the basic rule-of-law principles that should unite us even in a politically divisive time. At the very least, we should all be able to agree that there is no place in this country for armed mobs that seek to establish autonomous zones beyond government control, or tear down statues and monuments that law-abiding communities chose to erect, or to destroy the property and livelihoods of innocent business owners. The most basic responsibility of government is to ensure the rule of law, so that people can live their lives safely and without fear. The Justice Department will continue working to meet that solemn responsibility.

  194. We need water canons with sue and more troops Mr President

Your putting these military in harms way with small numbers

And put the freaking city on lockdown

    Enough of this crap

  195. We need to stop saying that 2020 is akin to the election of 1860.

I hope Trump’s people realize it is more akin to the election of 1864 when the nation was engaged in a civil war, and Lincoln’s efforts to preserve the union were at stake., Then as now, there were deadly riots, proponents of slavery were everywhere, and the Democrat Party had its champion in General McClellan who advocated peace at any price. In this case, Lincoln is Trump and Trump is Lincoln, in 1864. Surely the Trump campaign can whistle up some historian who can make that important point,

“The battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls that chaos, both his own and the enemies.”—Bonaparte

  196. The wealthy white liberal has the connections to impose his programs on you, while avoiding any application of those programs to him. Slavery for thee not for me is his motto.

Here you have a perfect example of this where a black family in the inner city wanted to make modest improvements in their home to bring it up to code, only to find that the cost of doing so under the city’s upzoning policy will be a fee of $11,000 which is money they do not have. That money, in turn, is to be given to a racial diversity fund, for low income dense housing, appros of what Mark Levin was talking about as predatory policies like these were extended to the suburbs., in their passion to abolish not only the family, but the single family dwelling, and pack everyone in to a rabbit warren. HOWEVER, this policies are not being applied to the wealthy white neigborhoods, who are liberal Obama voters. The Seattle Times which is a discredited newspaper run by a maggot namend Frank Blethen (I caddied once for his mom, who was just as imperious, but not as stupid as Frank) and even that Obama lover reported this story on the front page this morning. My good friend who sent me this is trying to get the story to Levin, as a concrete example of what will happen if Biden wins, only this time it will affect the suburbs. Victor Davis Hanson has made this point repeatedly and so has Tucker Carlson: the white liberal imposes horrific burdens on the rest of us, including of course black people while exemping himself from any of those burdens, virtue signalling and making himself rich,

Homeowners told permits for their home renovation will cost $11,000, thanks to upzoning in Seattle

The house was always going to need a little work.

An unpermitted second bedroom extending into the back alleyway “bounced” when entered, said Erika Cherry, who bought the 650-square-foot Seattle home with her husband, Andre, in late 2018. When the Cherrys demolished a wall, they found newspapers from 1916 — the year the house was built — in place of insulation. Six-foot-tall Andre could touch the low ceilings when he reached up.

But the Cherrys loved the Highland Park neighborhood, where they’d been renting since 2014. And at $325,000, the house was a steal.

They filed what Erika Cherry thought were relatively modest plans to renovate the home with the city’s Department of Construction and Inspections in early 2019. They’d bring the addition up to code, enclose the front porch and raise the roof to make the attic livable, on a budget of less than $60,000.

“We were turning a two-bedroom, one-bathroom house into a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house,” said architect Greg Krueger.

The city didn’t see it that way. A reviewer said the renovation was substantial enough to qualify as new construction. According to rules passed in 2019, the Cherrys would need to pay $11,000 to the city’s low-income housing fund if they wanted their permit, in addition to the regular permitting fees. That’s more than the Cherrys — already spending $4,200 per month on rent and mortgage while permitting drags on — were willing to pay.

The proposed renovations doubled the square footage and left “very little” of the existing home, department spokesperson Bryan Stevens said in an email. “We have not yet issued the permit and are open to reconsidering if the owners have new information they can provide demonstrating that more of the existing home will be preserved,” Stevens wrote.

The Cherrys say they shouldn’t be penalized for increasing the value of their home, in part by bringing it up to code. The issue is one of equity for the city’s Black residents, Erika Cherry said, who have been displaced from historically Black neighborhoods in part due to upzoning that made the properties more attractive to developers.

The Cherrys have demanded the city grant the permit. If the city refuses, Erika Cherry said, they plan to sue.

The scenario reflects much of the debate over the city’s 2019 Mandatory Housing Affordability plan, which upzoned 27 neighborhood hubs — including Highland Park — with the requirement that new housing there either include low-income apartments in their buildings or be assessed a fee. The premise of that plan was that more density would mean more affordability. Residents displaced from neighborhoods like the Central District because of rising rents and property taxes would be able to return to new, less-expensive apartments, proponents promised.

It’s not clear that’s been the effect, said real estate agent and Central District native Nicole Bascomb, who is Black. Apart from a few exceptional instances, she hasn’t seen the housing being built in the neighborhood being filled with Black renters, she said. And developers continue to buy out Black homeowners.

Near the Cherrys’ home, a cluster of large apartments have already been built next to smaller homes in the same block. (Greg Gilbert / The Seattle Times)Near the Cherrys’ home, a cluster of large apartments have already been built next to smaller homes in the same block. (Greg Gilbert / The Seattle Times)

“I have no one left in the Central District, not one family member,” she said. “The city is wiping out neighborhoods like the Central District.” Highland Park, one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the city, is also gentrifying, said Gunner Scott, chair of the Highland Park Action Committee.

“The only development I’ve seen since MHA are high-priced townhomes, squeezed three or four on a lot,” Scott said, like the three under construction down the street from the Cherrys. “That’s not the affordable housing we were promised.”

To Erika Cherry, it seems the city is “enabling the transfer of wealth from Black homeowners to developers,” she said, by making it more difficult for those homeowners to hold on to their properties.

In recent weeks, as protests against racism have swept across Seattle and the nation, some have pointed to Seattle’s zoning as perpetuating discrimination.

While there hasn’t been an in-depth study of the relationship between Seattle’s recent upzoning and race, geographer Kate Macfarlane recently compared a map of the city’s single-family-zoned housing with historical redlining designations. It seemed to her, she said, that neighborhoods that were more diverse in the 1930s are where apartment blocks line the streets today. Conversely, many of Seattle’s historically white neighborhoods — including those with racist covenants in their deeds — remain zoned for single-family housing today.

More broadly, it’s no secret, said Dan Bertolet, a researcher at the Sightline Institute, that “wealthy places are much better at preserving their single-family zoning. The zoning is exclusionary on purpose — that’s what people wanted.”

The city disputed racial inequities in upzoning. Upzoned neighborhoods “are spread throughout the city and do not concentrate in a specific geographic area,” Stevens wrote.

Macfarlane said she supports denser, more walkable neighborhoods, but wishes wealthier — whiter — neighborhoods were upzoned along with places like Highland Park.

“When we look at the Central District and we say, it’s close to downtown, it has great bus service, we should allow more housing here,” she said, “we should apply the same criteria to Madison Park, and North Capitol Hill and Queen Anne.”

The Cherrys have partnered with national libertarian law firm The Institute for Justice to press their case with the city. Erika Cherry said she didn’t consider the ideological fit when looking for an attorney, and the firm was the first to hear them out.

Their attorney, Bill Maurer, said asking the Cherrys to pay into the affordable housing fund showed the city’s building code is fundamentally flawed.

“If this is what the city intended when it passed Mandatory Housing Affordability,” Maurer said, “maybe it should go back to the drawing board.”

  197. I see why you left Seattle Wbb

    What a mind F-K…

Obamaland, but he and his wealthy friends can afford not to live there!

I wish they would put affordable housing high rises next to his properties, gangbangers included…

With no police to defend them, cause defund the police his really his and holders Baby…

  198. Barr is more than wrong here

Why would you be given a guilty verdict when what you are accused of was not even legal and was actually an act of treason by the government in the first place!
    ——

On Roger Stone’s sentence, Barr said that he felt Stone should go to prison, but that line prosecutors were advocating for a sentence that was “more than twice than anyone else in a similar position had ever served. I was not going to advocate that because that is not the rule of law,” Barr said.

  199. I cannot take the Dems anymore…they sound crazy & have no regard for middle class & working American people… they are unbearable to listen to…freaking grandstanders

just call them the “I reclaim my time” party because all they want is to listen to themselves & attack with no fairness for a response…

they really are totalitarians…if they get control of the FBI & DOJ again the USA is in MAJOR trouble

  200. Torturing myself watching Biden “press conference” , Cavuto and Napolitano. Geez …hard to stomach.

  201. Per WH notice, PDJT will hold briefing:

“Today, President Trump is taking further action under the Defense Production Act to end America’s over-reliance on foreign supply chains.”

Now, the Administration is providing a $765 million loan to Kodak to support the launch of Kodak Pharmaceuticals, which will boost America’s domestic production of much-needed drugs. Once fully operational, Kodak Pharmaceuticals will manufacture up to 25 percent of active pharmaceutical ingredients for certain generic medicines.” [ wonder if that will include hydroxychoroquine? ]

  202. Peter Navarro Outlines White House White House Initiative on Critical Supply Chains….

Earlier today White House Trade and Manufacturing Advisor Peter Navarro discussed an initiative to lunch a new program spearheading new critical supply chains. The goal is to return manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, medicines and equipment back to America.

The White House provided the following outline:

SUPPORTING AMERICAN SUPPLY CHAINS: The Trump Administration is signing a Letter of Interest in support of a deal that will help ensure essential medicines are produced in America.

    * The Trump Administration is signing a Letter of Interest supporting a deal to transform Kodak into a pharmaceutical company that can help produce essential medicines in the United States.
    * When the deal is final, the CEO of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) will use his delegated Defense Production Act (DPA) loan authority to provide a $765 million loan to launch Kodak Pharmaceuticals, which will create at least 360 jobs.

    * With this loan, the company can build the capacity to produce essential medicines that have lapsed into chronic national shortage.
+ Once fully operational, Kodak will have the capacity to produce 25% of the generic active pharmaceutical ingredients necessary for all non-biologic and non-antibacterial pharmaceuticals used in the United States.
    * Kodak will work with the Administration and drug product manufacturers to identify the products that are most needed to meet national security requirements.

INVESTING IN CRITICAL INDUSTRY: President Trump has taken bold action to ensure that Americans are no longer reliant on foreign countries for critical, generic medications.

    * President Trump is working to ensure that America produces the critical goods necessary to combat COVID-19 here at home.
    * Thanks to President Trump’s actions, the CEO of the DFC—formerly the Overseas Private Investment Corporation—is now using DPA loan authority delegated by the President to invest in America in addition to its work overseas.
    * DFC is working with the private sector to address critical issues facing our Nation, particularly the issue of how we can bring pharmaceutical manufacturing back to the United States.
+ Only a small proportion of generic active pharmaceutical ingredients are actually manufactured in the United States, and the majority come from India and China.
    * American reliance on foreign countries for critical, generic drugs is not sustainable and leaves the American people incredibly vulnerable.
    * President Trump’s actions reflect his commitment to ending America’s dangerous reliance on foreign countries for vital drugs.

LEVERAGING THE PRIVATE SECTOR: President Trump has leveraged the power of the private sector to fight COVID-19 and provide Americans with the resources they need.

    * President Trump has effectively leveraged the DPA to mobilize the private sector and secure massive amounts of personal protective equipment and ventilators.
    * The Administration has taken 33 DPA actions totaling almost $3.2 billion to provide critical support for essential medical resources and our defense industrial base.
    * The President has used the DPA to contract with companies like General Electric, Honeywell, Puritan, and 3M to ramp up production of ventilators, swabs, and masks.
    * The Trump Administration has partnered with the private sector to speed vaccine and therapeutic research, while preparing for the mass production of a safe, effective vaccine.
