Snake Pit: Conservative Treehouse, Q-Anon, Stacy Abrams, Avenatti

The 2018 elections are finally winding down. It’s time for Thanksgiving for that end alone. But it is also time to call out some of the most egregious players of the snake pit in recent days. Regular readers will recall that we wrote about the snake pit in July of 2015 as a way to understand why then candidate Donald J. Trump would become president:

We explain in simple English the Donald Trump mystique:

WHEN YOU ARE IN A SNAKE PIT YOU DON’T CARE WHO HANDS YOU A STICK.

President Trump is now alongside normal Americans fighting off the vipers in the snake pit.

Consider “Stormy Daniels” attorney Michael Avenatti who has the very appearance of a snake. Avenatti trashed Judge Kavanaugh with lurid allegations. The totalitarian left immediately shouted “we believe survivors” which meant that any woman that makes an accusation against a man must be believed no matter how sleazy, nasty, trampy, whorish, dishonest, avaricious, the woman is. Now Avenatti has been accused of physical assault against a woman and the Avenatti response is “liar!” Avenatti is the boy who killed his parents then asks the court for mercy because he is an orphan.

Consider the “black blimp” Stacy Abrams. In a speech this trash refused to concede her election defeat even as this trash acknowledged she would not be governor of Georgia. Black blimp Stacy Abrams won’t state the truth that she lost. This trash Stacy Abrams could have simply said she lost the election but would continue to fight for what she believes in. Instead this trash Stacy Abrams did not have the decency and honesty to concede that her premature declarations of victory and imminent triumph were not to be.

As bad as snakes and trash like Michael Avenatti are they really can’t compare to the perfidious Sundunce. Our regular readers will recall our many slashing attacks against Sundunce of Conservative Treehouse and the partner in crime Q-Anon. Immediately after the election, Sundunce published an astonishing article with many truths but one huge unspoken lie:

There was no “trust the plan” to confront the deep state that involved “trust Sessions.”

There was no multidimensional chess strategy being coordinated between President Trump and the Attorney General, to upend the DC deep state.

That brings us forward to the issues around this “Q phenomena”:

There is no effort to use U.S. Attorney John Huber to confront the deep state apparatus; there are not 60,000 sealed indictments (or whatever number currently being used); there’s not an intention to use military tribunals to round up swaths of people for prosecution; there’s no plan to use Guantanamo Bay to house them; there are not going to be tribunals resulting in mass executions by recently approved firing squads in Utah; U.S. Attorney Huber does not have an army of “500 prosecutors” preparing to drop the hammer on DC…. and finally, NO, President Trump doesn’t go into some mysterious internet chat room to type up coded messages and instructions under the nom de plume “Q”. All of that is pure unmitigated nonsense, yet thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of people, actually believe it.

There is a pending and slightly-possible DOJ case against former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe that U.S. Attorney John Huber may be in charge of. There may be ancillary subjects, specifically related to McCabe, that may also have legal jeopardy. That’s it. Nothing more.

No, Jeff Sessions getting fired (requested resignation) today is not part of some grand plot to expose the Deep State; where Sessions role has ended and someone else now takes over.

Anyone who would make such a claim, in general terms, comes from the same small group who need to sell the original “Stealth Jeff”, “Slow Walker”, “Trust the Plan” fan fiction they have been theorizing for the past year. When the central element of their theory collapses, they either: (A) admit they are wrong; or (B) as in recent examples, reconcile the contradictory events by overlaying another bizarre layer to the theory to continue selling the nonsense, move the goalposts, and make the bizarre theory even more convoluted. Sadly, the latter approach is visible today.

The big lie by Sundunce amidst all the truths is that it was Sundunce himself who promulgated the lies. This website was attacked when we denounced Q-Anon and the Q-Tards. There are still random idiots who attack us for being entirely correct in the Q-Anon matter and for exposing Conservative Treehouse.

Let’s repeat that: it was Sundunce who promulgated the lies and the wacky theories of “white hats” and “black hats” and the nonsense about Huber and Sessions and even Bob Mueller being a “white hat”. Everything we attacked Conservative Treehouse for has been proven correct. Yet instead of an apolgy from Sundunce we get blame shifting.

Sundunce should have written: “I was entirely wrong. All my theories have been proven as absurd childish fantasies. What’s worse is that because of my “Trust Jeff Sessions” nonsense we did not organize to force Jeff Sessions to resign. Further we never mentioned the Vacancies Reform Act and why Sessions has to be forced to resign not be fired. We were entirely wrong and because of our actions we hurt President Trump and helped the Deep State.”

That is what an honest person would have written.

Sundunce did everything a Trump hater would want even as Sundunce pretends to be a Trump supporter. Because of the “do nothing” policy of Sundunce of Conservative Treehouse actions that should have been taken were not done. The same goes for Q-Anon.

Abrams and Avenatti are scum and filth. But at least Abrams and Avenatti proclaim for all to hear their hatred of President Trump and in that they are honest. But vipers like Sundunce and Q-Anon are the dangerous “friendly fire” traitors that Trump supporters must be on guard against. As President Trump has warned, beware of snakes.



There will be tough days ahead. As the elections wind down and Florida appears to be a settled issue the fight against the Deep State will only get tougher. Beware of snakes.

    Nearly got bitten by a HUiHgEe rattler in my driveway one summer night, over 6 feet and inches from my foot as I jumped down from the truck. Never heard a rattler in real life.. but you know, believe me, you know that sound deep in your psychic soul

    It was actually the second time I came close to a rattler, first one on a golf field and a squirrel lbs behavior made me stop and reassess my surroundings and yup, there he was in the ledge on top of me..

    Then almost bitten by a copperhead, was two feet from that one when some birds took a disliking to him and began going crazy, and even pecking at him, till he slithered into a fenced area. I was walking right for him

    Then my dogs killed a water moccasin in my back yard, HUGH, tore him in half, still can’t get over that one.

    Yes I hate snakes, all of them, and like borderlines, they make the hair on your neck stand out…no matter how deep they lay..

    I had a friend who was the Breck Girl and her story was a sad one. She grew up in the Hollywood Hills. By the time I met her, she was down on her luck and very insecure. One evening we were having drinks and she told me that she was going in for (another) operation on her nose. I later learned she had had 16 prior operations and I could not understand why. After her death by OD, I learned form her parents that she was addicted to cocaine. That explained the omnipresence of a guy who was not of her class. Also, some secret conversations she had with her friend who was a high falutin hair dresser. And her tardiness when we would go out on dates I thought of her when I read your comments. The reason the former senator from Florida looks strange is because he has has some plastic surgery done to his face, and has taken almost as many botox shots as the incoming speaker of the House.

Apparently, this Buchanan clown, a three star general shot his mouth off without thinking and was overruled by his commander in chief (god, I hope they also fire the stupid ass, who obviously has his own foreign policy separate and apart from the administration, and has no qualms about announcing his free thinking through, of all organizations, Politico, who is virulently anti Trump. Kelly said the army core of engineers have completed their work in putting physical obstructions on the border, and they will be re deployed. But the rest will remain there to support the border patrol, and under no circumstances will the military what this rogue general did, and announce a date certain for withdrawal. I am an admirer of General Keane, but his unwillingness to denounce the general in question, lost some points for me. The military has to own up to its mistakes and this general is surely one of them. An idiot. With only one caveat.     (without Congressional approval)

    I believe it was something like 180 days. IMS.. their time allowed
    at the border expires, I think Dec 10 or there abouts.

    It would explain why he didn’t send them as soon a news of the
    Caravan expansion topped 10,000. He was trying to maximize
    border protection estimating when their arrival is expected.

    The reason why I try not to criticize or complain about what action

    President Trump’s chief of staff John Kelly signed a memo late Tuesday allowing troops stationed at the border to act in a law enforcement capacity and use lethal force, if necessary, according to Tara Copp of Military Times.

    The new “Cabinet order” was signed by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, not President Donald Trump. It allows “Department of Defense military personnel” to “perform those military protective activities that the Secretary of Defense determines are reasonably necessary” to protect border agents, including “a show or use of force (including lethal force, where necessary), crowd control, temporary detention. and cursory search.”

    Kelly said in the signed directive that the additional authorities were necessary because “credible evidence and intelligence” have indicated that the thousands of migrants who have now made their way to the U.S. checkpoint near Tijuana, Mexico, “may prompt incidents of violence and disorder” that could threaten border officials. -Military Times

    Approximately 5,900 active-duty troops were deployed to the southern US border along with 2,100 national guard to reinforce the border and bolster enforcement efforts as thousands of asylum seekers from Central America arrive in Tijuana, Mexico in the hopes of pushing into the United States.

    The Trump administration’s move may raise concerns over the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits the use of federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States.

    Some of those activities, including crowd control and detention, may run into potential conflict with the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act. If crossed, the erosion of the act’s limitations could represent a fundamental shift in the way the U.S. military is used, legal experts said.

    The Congressional Research Service, the non-partisan research agency for Congress, has found that “case law indicates that ‘execution of the law’ in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act occurs (a) when the Armed Forces perform tasks assigned to an organ of civil government, or (b) when the Armed Forces perform tasks assigned to them solely for purposes of civilian government.” However, the law also allows the president “to use military force to suppress insurrection or to enforce federal authority,” CRS has found. -Military Times

    That said, US military forces always have the inherent right to self defense. Moreover, troops have been given a wider scope of authority in recent years to assist border agents with various actions such as drug interdictions.

    According to Military Times, defense officials say that hte language in the new directive was “carefully crafted to avoid running up against the bedrock legal limitations set in Posse Comitatus.” That said, “Even [an executive order] couldn’t overcome Posse Comitatus,” says Willaim Banks, author of “Soldiers on the Home Front: The Domestic Role of the American Military” and the former director of the Institute for National Security and Counter-terrorism at Syracuse University’s College of Law.

    The new report appears to contradict a story from Tuesday in the Los Angeles Times that the Trump administration would begin withdrawing the troops. In fact, it appears that the pulled troops would primarily consist of engineering units which have finished their task of installing razor wire and physical obstacles at border crossing points – while the original scope of the mission had authorized a deployment until December 15, unless the Department of Homeland Security requested an extension.

How different this is from the view of Justice Jackson who said the Supreme Court follows election returns.     House Republicans plan to hold a hearing into the Department of Justice’s probe into the Clinton Foundation in December — a month before Democrats will take control of the chamber.

    Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., who is chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Government Operations, told The Hill he wants to hear testimony on Dec. 5 from the prosecutor appointed to investigate the controversial foundation, which has been dogged by allegations of “pay to play” when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state. The foundation has repeatedly denied the allegations.

    Meadows said it was time to “circle back” with U.S. Attorney John Huber, who was appointed to investigate the foundation.

    “Mr. Huber with the Department of Justice and the FBI has been having an investigation — at least part of his task was to look at the Clinton Foundation and what may or may not have happened as it relates to improper activity with that charitable foundation, so we’ve set a hearing date for December the 5th,” he said.

    Then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions revealed in March that he had appointed Huber to lead the evaluation into issues involving the FBI, the Clinton Foundation and the sale of Uranium One, but said he did not intend to appoint a special counsel…

    Meadows told The Hill that it’s time for Huber to update Congress, and is also looking to secure testimonies from whistleblowers who could have more information about any wrongdoing.

    “We’re just now starting to work with a couple of whistleblowers that would indicate that there is a great probability, a significant improper activity that’s happening in and around the Clinton Foundation,” he said.

    My opinion? While I don’t disagree with James Woods about muffed opportunities, I’m going to lay most of the blame on Sessions for sitting on this and not making use of public hearings. It would have been valuable to keep this investigation front and center. And why did they wait until March 2018 to initiate it?

    He is a vain, prissy, not too bright man, John Roberts.

    He has problems, including but not limited to his wild reversal in course on Obama, where he was against it before he was for it, and when the NYT took the position that deciding against Obamacare would be a black mark against “the Roberts court”, he did the unthinkable and adopted the very position abandoned in the hearing by the Obama appointed Solicitor General and found it to be a tax. Prior to doing so, he went into a panic mode according to the law clerks present, and Justice Kennedy had to calm him down, and try (unsuccessfully) to get him to hold the line. His private justification, assuming he was not blackmailed over some immigration violation which was suggested but never proven, was to not let the court wander into the political realm by abandoning the status quo ante. Now even if you get past that failure, consider his abject failure to sanction the judges FISA court he appointed, who granted a wiretap without holding a hearing and failing to order sanctions and ethical charges against the attorneys who withheld exculpatory information. And, he must live in the same cave as Osama bin Laden once occupied, if he is ignorant of the crass partisanship and forum shopping which is characteristic of the Ninth Circuit. They have gone out of their way to thwart Presidential actions which are within the scope of his Article 2 powers, which have been exercised when necessary to protect the nation. He claims he does not see it, but my hunch is that as in the Obamacare matter he is too much of a coward to deal with it. Nobody can be that blind. And now, he decides to get into a tit for tat with the President to defend what must be seen as a corrupt status quo. It costs him nothing, and allows him to preen before the NYT and WashPo who will call his cowardice courage. To the point of your comment, it could be argued that given the fact that he is by all appearances a RINO appointed by a RINO president, who has not objection to judicial tyranny, that he would sink any Trump initiative anyway, without regard to this petty dispute which he chose to stick his nose into. Or, it could be that he will do so now out of spite. Or, in my judgment the more likely possibility is that he will think twice before slamming Trump because it will be seen as vengeful and retaliatory. The bottom line, to get clinical for a moment, an experienced therapist would look at Roberts and conclude that he is fragile. A fragile person is always using their antenna to guage the force field that surrounds them. If they conclude that there is danger they either retreat, or they go ballistic. That is what I believe we will see in Roberts in the future, and contrary to the cliche it will NOT be interesting to watch.

  82. Gonzo: he does not strike me as a rabid ideologue, although tenure on the high court has been known to have that affect on others in that position, most notably Earl Warren. If I am right, then we are dealing with a fragile man, and the comment he made in this instance is some evidence that is the case. Now if that is true, and if he thinks he is being perceived by the nation as biased against Trump, then he may feel compelled to go the other way. Trump can take criticism and he thrives on it. Roberts on the other hand is beset by self doubt, and cannot handle it. It was foolish for him to react the way he did, especially when he gave Obama a free pass, as Senator Grassley points out. But when someone is fragile they react rather than think, and in do doing he has harmed his standing with millions. He has the face of a weak man, and it goes downhill from there. He told Obama he wanted to hear criticism of decisions, but that is not what he told Trump. He needs a shrink. His mental health–or the lack thereof does not concern me nearly as much as his willingness, because of his weakness, to permit or even support a system of judicial tyranny where one lowly district court judge is more powerful than the president of the United States. Trust me, the framers never intended anything of the kind. They fought a revolution to abolish one man rule by someone who never ran for office. They would be equally suspect of and adverse to this latter day King George, i.e. John Roberts and his evil Harvard trained minions.

The main purpose in this case would be to mislead Trump supporters, and to induce them to go along with and communicate to fellow supporters what could in fact be a deep state, most likely CIA, narrative. This gets back to something Tom Sowell wrote about in his main treatise Knowledge and Decision, that no central planner can have as much knowledge of what is best for two parties to a transaction, than the two parties themselves, and that is because they know more about their own circumstances, and preferences than any detached central planner. The same rule applies to federal bureaucrats and federal judges who arrogantly assume that they can manage a battle when they are not on the front line and have no real world experience to deal with the crisis. It is a fools errand, but hardly surprising where, as here, we are dealing with judicial activists who are seldom right but never in doubt. When you went to Harvard, as many of them did, you never entertain the possibility that you do not know what you are talking about, and the sum total of your efforts may be to make a difficult situation impossible.

Your committee may have some interest in this article, but the hard fact to be faced is anti semitism has had a long tenure with the left, dating back to the early 19th century, despite the Balfour declaration of 1922. And yet, the liberal establishment today is as dismissive of it on the left, as the New York Times was of it during the 1930’s. Past generations of elites have understood that their success is not all of their own making and they do owe a debt to society. This generation of elites is different. They really believe that they are special because they went to Harvard, and they look down on the working people of this country. In the past, some of them thought it, but today many of them, from Hillary to Strouk to the NYT are openly saying it–labeling the half of the country who do not agree with them politically as deplorables, Walmart people, etc. This while at the same time bemoaning the fact that the nation is divided. They never seem to realize that the core problem may be them. Thank God for people like Roger Simon, who tells it how it is, whether the left wants to hear it or not.     For most of the last three decades, until my recent move to Nashville, I drove up and down Los Angeles’ La Brea Avenue at least once, often many times, a day. I ate at restaurants there, bought supplies there, drove to the offices of PJ Media along that major urban artery

    Almost always I saw ultra-Orthodox Hasidim walking around the neighborhood, often with dozens of kids in tow. (They take the Biblical dictum to be fruitful and multiply quite literally.) But never did I see a vicious anti-Semitic attack like the one caught on video last Friday night when a 32-year-old Somali named Mohamed Mohamed Abdi, yelling “F**king Jews,” tried to run down worshipers in front of their synagogue on Shabbat. Where did he think he was? Paris?

    Okay, not funny. Not funny at all.

    Especially since Pittsburgh. Especially since we have been told there has been a rise in anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. recently. Especially since some jejune young lady who just got elected to the House seems to think there’s some equivalence between migrants being held up at our Southern border and Jews fleeing the Holocaust. (Good thing there’s no IQ test for getting into Congress.)

    But what about it? Is there a rise in anti-Semitism and, if so, where is it coming from? I won’t disguise my view. Pittsburgh aside, today’s anti-Semitism is largely, with minor sporadic exceptions, the product of an unholy alliance between the left and Islam. (No, I don’t mean radical Islam, bad as it is. I mean Islam. That religion has, with some notable and thankfully growing exceptions, long been anti-Semiticin action and in doctrine.)

    This alliance between the left and Islam, exemplified — although far from exclusively — by Linda Sarsour, who refuses to abjure the notoriously anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan while telling Jews she is “sorry,” leads to mind-bending behavior by “feminists,” like support for the hijab and patriarchal Sharia law. What next? Clitoridectomies? Evidently.

    Meanwhile, the BDS movement on American campuses has become chic, with resistance, at best, sporadic. Jewish students feel threatened at many of our colleges as social justice warriors with no knowledge of the Middle East (or anything, for that matter) blame them for what the SJWs think is happening in Israel. UCLA might as well be an outpost of Tehran or Mecca, even though Los Angeles has a half-million Jews. Columbia University, the city with the most Jews in the entire world, is even worse. Call it an outpost of Hamas.

    Groups like the sclerotic ADL almost seemed relieved when this Bowers character went and shot people up at the Pittsburgh synagogue. The old days of redneck KKK anti-Semitism (even if the perp hated Trump) were back, temporarily anyway. They didn’t have to confront the reality of how things actually are now. They could still blame Trump for the supposed rise in anti-Semitism, even though all the evidence that we were told pointed to POTUS turned out to be bogus and even though he is the most pro-Israel president ever, with Jewish grandchildren.

    As some then will recall, the Pittsburgh rabbi was “surprised” that Trump was actually warm and empathetic after the horrific occurrence. Given the level of propaganda, it’s easy to see why.

    “Liberal” Jews can’t face the reality of all this or don’t want to, so they ignore it and don’t think about it, continuing to spout bromides that were tired in the 1930s. (I apologize for using all the scare quotes, but the English language has been effectively destroyed.) Those bromides bear a distinct resemblance to those that were current in Berlin in those same 1930s.

    They have even infected, again temporarily, the investigation of the near-murders on La Brea. Pittsburgh notwithstanding, the police were reluctant to call it a hate crime, deeming the situation at first merely a traffic accident. (Mohamed Mohamed cracked up during his rampage.) Since then, the LAPD has sobered up and a hate crime investigation is in progress. If only the left would sober up. (I know. I know.)

    This Mary Barra is toast. Only she does not know it. If these layoffs were engineered by Obama et al, then they will all have hell to pay. Some will say, whoooah Nellie. We must have the facts.     On an unrelated note, I found an article on the hot mess otherwise known as NBC, which is owned by the clueless people at Comcast, and managed by an ineffective leader by the name of Steve Burke whose father ran Capital Industries. It discusses at some lengths the bad affirmative action hires this Burke clown engineered, and how truth is a stranger to their news room. But most deliciously of all, it talks about what happened to lying Bryan Williams and his well deserved fall from grace. Evidently, Brian was a fabulist and a backstabber within that organization, and he used false gossip and character assassination to force out his former boss, not at the coffee machine but in the luxurious mess hall when Burke was present and could over hear him. Brian was a true plastic executive with a trophy wife stepford children and a John Barrymore profile.     ABC News reported, “Cohen’s earlier plea deal with federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York implicated President Trump in campaign finance felonies. Since then, Cohen has spent more than 70 hours in interviews with Mueller’s team.     Let me go over this again. As FBI director, Mueller personally headed the investigation of the post-9/11 anthrax attack, which killed five people. For 5 1/2 years, he pursued the wrong man. The FBI harassed the man. The case was never solved. Taxpayers paid $5.8 million to settle a lawsuit by the victim.

    It is sad that we give men like Mueller so much power.
