Political Cultural Storms: #HurricaneIrma Vs. TrumpNado, Plus AHSCult, #StarTrek, #Jennifer Lawrence

Update: President Trump in Florida to survey the damage and make sure recovery and repairs are carried out as he has ordered.

In case you missed it, President Trump in Florida discussed THE WALL: ‘If we don’t have the wall, we’re doing nothing’. President Trump made that comment after some earlier squishy comments in Washington. Here’s the quote in full (at 5:01 in the video): “But we’ll only do it if we get extreme security… if we get not only surveillance… but everything that goes along with surveillance. And ultimately we have to have the wall. If we don’t have the wall we’re doing nothing.” There’s also this (at 5:30) “At some point they’re gonna have to. They cannot obstruct the wall. The wall to me is vital. If I don’t get the wall then we will become the obstructionists.” And this (at 5:42): ‘”We have to have an understanding that whether it is in the budget or some other vehicle, in a fairly short period of time the wall will be funded, otherwise we’re not doing any deal.”

President Trump understands the vital nature of the WALL to his supporters. He will negotiate as a master of the Art of the Deal. The bottom line is results. Results he promised. Representative Steve King is correct that a betrayal on this issue is a betrayal on all issues:

We are sure President Trump will repeat his promises about the WALL to great cheers from those that voted for him in 2016, as he campaigns around the country in the next several weeks for tax reform. Big Media along with Pelousy and Cryin’ Chuck will continue to sow discord among Trump supporters. As long as President Trump keeps his promises as he has on issue after issue, there will be no discord. The base will remain intact and an immovable object.

Today we present a picnic basket of analysis for those of you on the run to take with you as you flee from Hurricane Irma or recover from Hurricane Harvey.

Let’s start with the hurricanes and how the winds are blowing in our political cultural storms (then we’ll get to the fun stuff of American Horror Story and Star Trek and what that says about the zeitgeist).

On Hurricane Irma: run. This one is gonna be a Hillary2016 size disaster. It’s easy to see how bad this storm is going to be just by looking at its size. Run ladies and gents in Florida, run. Pretend a naked Michelle Obama is chasing you. Run!

Hurricane Irma, like Hurricane Harvey will cause a great deal of damage. Houses will float. Roofs will fly.

Hurricane Irma has already blown the roof off of two politicians and let us see them for who they are. We mean Governor Abbott and Governor Rick Scott. Governor Abbott of Texas, the guy in a wheelchair, acted like a superhero movie star. Abbott was everywhere seemingly bereft of sleep for days in order to take care of Texas citizens. Bravo Governor Abbott!

Governor Rick Scott. We’ve always had doubts about this guy. He looked kinda weird to us with his unblinking eyes, chrome dome head, and stilted speaking manner. We were chagrined when he was elected governor of Florida because his opponent was such a loon. Still… we have had reservations about this Rick Scott guy. Had. Hurricane Irma has exposed Governor Rick Scott of Florida as a strong leader who provides timely information and is doing everything we think he should be doing and doing it well. Bravo Governor Rick Scott!

Pay attention to these two governors. They both have a bright future in politics. Governor Abbott has already passed his test of leadership with his command of the Hurricane Harvey disasters.

Governor Rick Scott has passed his test of hurricane preparation but he still remains to be tested during the storm and as recovery begins. We suspect from his performance thus far that he will pass these tests superlatively as well. If Governor Rick Scott does well in the week and weeks to come it is likely that he will become, as we have predicted, the next Republican Senator from Florida if he decides to challenge Obama Dimocrat Bill Nelson in 2018.

What do Governors Abbott and Scott have in common? Well, they are both Republican governors. Most importantly they are both strong supporters of President Donald J. Trump. This means a strong desire by both federal and state governments to do the best jobs possible because there is good will amongst all the parties involved in hurricane disaster preparation.

There is more of course to these double hurricanes than weather or the political fates of two governors. Hurricane Irma, like Hurricane Harvey, will have political ramifications greater than most anticipate. For instance we already see how even the most anti-Trump Big Media outlets have to admit that President Trump’s quick and effective disaster relief efforts elevate his stature as well as the polls which cannot measure the full support of the public for President Trump.

* * * * * *

Thanks to GonzoTx in our comment section we have been alerted to a Mark Steyn quote which summarizes what has struck us about the political moment we are in. Steyn writes, culture trumps politics. We have to add, Trump trumps the culture.

We’ve written repeatedly about how President Trump is a revolutionary figure. The revolutionary aspect of Trump was exceedingly obvious by the time the Iowa caucuses vote and we noted the “prairie fire” that Donald J. Trump lit then.

What few anticipated was the cultural revolution that President Trump was about to light up as well. This cultural revolution was not entirely a surprise because Donald J. Trump so dominated the news. No other political candidate has set national conversations at the kitchen table and on congressional and Big Media panels to discuss the size of his hands, his hair, his skin coloration, his family, his taste in furniture and decorations, his lunch/dinner habits, his pizza eating style with fork and knife, his possessions, his demeanor, his tone, his counter-punching style, his ego, his private conversations, his public declarations, his movements, his height, his wife’s heels, in short everything about The Donald.

This is not to say that other candidates and presidents have not been put under a microscope. But Donald J. Trump is a nonstop source of conversation. Donald J. Trump is like the mystical cup the Norse god Thor drank from which contained an ocean of drink. This obsession with Trump is astounding.

Obsession has led to the cultural moment. President Trump we now can see, trumps the culture. This is not due to those that admire the man. President Trump trumps the culture because his enemies have made him the cultural icon and brand of the coming era.

It’s a bit like reverse Chairman Mao. The enemies of Chairman Mao in China wanted to get rid of him. They surmised that there were two ways to remove the Chairman. One way was to trash him and bury him. The other way was to elevate him so much he became irrelevant. With President Trump the NeverTrump right-wing and the totalitarian leftists have decided to deride and resist President Trump using all the tools of the culture. But instead of the dominant cultural elites’ destruction of President Trump, what is happening is that President Trump is warping the culture, devouring the culture, trumping the culture! It is astonishing to witness.

The madness of the NeverTrump right and the resist Trump left is in itself a cultural moment. Consider President Trump’s latest triumph over the GOP establishment and cooptation of the leftist leaders Pelosi and Schumer on DACA and budget issues. President Trump is without regrets:

Among Republicans on Capitol Hill, “I’ve never heard members and senators so angry at the president of their own party,” one durable Washington hand told me after yesterday’s round of check-in calls. [snip]

Our thought bubble for the president when he spontaneously made the fiscal package deal in front of a chagrined Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan: “You say I can’t make deals anymore? Hold my Diet Coke, and watch this! You say I’m beholden to Mitch and Paul? Watch me make a big deal without them!

A top aide puts it slightly more diplomatically: “He read the room. Instinctual. … He’s a dealmaker. He saw a deal.”

As we wrote, the “better deal” was a Trump schlong of Paul Ryno and in the Ditch Mitch who always pretend to fight only to cave at the last moment and do nothing to advance the Trump Agenda. It is understandable if the two that were schlonged raged and felt under attack. But it was the NeverTrump outcasts who exploded in rage, again, against President Trump. Only now do these fools understand that President Trump represents the death of the Republican Party that catered to the Chamber of Commerce and the worst war mongers of the Neo-con bowel movement.

The NeverTrump right however is irrelevant. They have nothing to offer but anger and rage alongside their words and delusions. Pat Buchanan who ran for President in 1992 and discovered the misery of the white working class in New Hampshire and elsewhere that year was attacked by these loons as a socialist because of his desire to do something to help. Because Buchanan did not bow to the Chamber of Commerce Buchanan was denounced as a leftist. Buchanan is a precursor to Donald J. Trump. Buchanan understands what it is that President Trump dealt to the do nothing congress:

Donald Trump is president today because he was seen as a doer not a talker. Among the most common compliments paid him in 2016 was, “At least he gets things done!”

And it was exasperation with a dithering GOP Congress, which had failed to enact his or its own agenda, that caused Trump to pull the job of raising the debt ceiling away from Republican contractors Ryan & McConnell, and give it to Pelosi & Schumer.

Hard to fault Trump. Over seven months, Congress showed itself incapable of repealing Obamacare, though the GOP promised this as its first priority in three successive elections.

Returning to D.C. after five weeks vacation, with zero legislation enacted, Speaker Paul Ryan and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell were facing a deadline to raise the debt ceiling and fund the government. [snip]

Will he give up on free-trade Republicans to work with Democrats to protect U.S. jobs and businesses from predator traders like China? [snip]

We could be looking at a seismic shift in national politics, with Trump looking to centrist and bipartisan coalitions to achieve as much of his agenda as he can. He could collaborate with Federalist Society Republicans on justices and with economic-nationalist Democrats on tariffs.

Pat Buchanan understands that President Trump is a political force akin to the prairie fire that burns the fields and yields a new harvest from the soil enriched by the death of what once was. The totalitarian left understands this too. That is why we are at this political/cultural moment.

The NeverTrump right wing is a collection of crickets making night sounds in the fields before the prairie fire burns them dead. They don’t matter.

The anti-Trump GOP establishment likewise is on its death bed as 2018 brings forth a harvest of newly elected Republicans who support Trump. The anti-Trump GOP establishment soon will not matter.

The totalitarian left that tears down monuments and demands political censorship of speech they don’t like is aghast at what is witnessed. The totalitarian left reacted with rage against Senator Feinstein when she suggested that President Trump might not be the devil. The totalitarian left reacted with resistance and rage when their leftist leaders Pelosi and Schumer made a deal with the person they think is a Hitler. “How can you make a deal with Hitler?”

If Pelosi and Schumer agreed to a deal with the man that is hated by the left as Hitler (hey, wasn’t Hitler a socialist too?) then maybe Hitler is not Hitler? What to do, what to do?

The right wing is irrelevant. The totalitarian left is politically neutered but not yet irrelevant. Increasingly the totalitarian left understands their political irrelevance.

Because the totalitarian left understands they are politically irrelevant, the totalitarian left has retreated to the academic heights to fight for relevance. But that has not worked out too well either.

Big Media failed. Politics failed them. Academia failed them. The last refuge for the totalitarian left is the cultural heights they dominate. The left decided to fight President Trump with their most powerful weapon: culture. The cultural elites and their celebrity centurions who hate Trump decided to attack President Trump with the powerful tool that has always worked for them. Culture.

Enter Jennifer Lawrence. Jennifer Lawrence, a beautiful young star of the Hunger Games series (a film series that can be seen as a cinema prognostication of the rise of Donald J. Trump), as well as X-Men and other good films is the star of her latest release, “Mother!“. On a publicity tour Jennifer Lawrence continued her war against President Trump:

In an interview with Channel 4, a British public service television network, American actress Jennifer Lawrence blamed the recent hurricanes on Donald Trump’s voters, because they don’t believe in man-made climate change. During the lengthy interview on her new movie Mother!, the conversation turned political about halfway through. After discussing the alleged pay gap between men and women, the interviewer asked Lawrence about climate change and the political climate in America.

I mean when the director was asked about the film, why it was so dark, he said, ‘It’s a mad time to be alive.’ And there is certainly an end of days feeling about it. For many people, in America who would say, [grimaces] perhaps it’s truer there at the moment than anywhere else,” the Channel 4 reporter prompted Lawrence to comment.

It’s scary,” she responded. “You know, it’s this new language that’s forming, I don’t even recognize it. It’s also scary to know, that climate change is due to human activity, and we continue to ignore it, and the only voice that we really have is through voting,” Lawrence stated.

“And you have voted very recently, as a country” the interviewer acknowledged.

“And we voted, and it was really startling,” Lawrence added. She then insinuated that the hurricanes were “Mother Nature’s rage and wrath” at America for Trump.

“You know you’re watching these hurricanes now, and it’s really hard especially while promoting this movie, not to feel mother nature’s rage and wrath,” she stated.

“It’s not just about climate change though is it, in America? It seems to be a time of huge division,” the reporter added.

Yeah, it’s really polarizing and upsetting. You know I’ve heard things and seen things on T.V. in my own country that devastate me and make me sick, and it’s just really confusing,” Lawrence stated.

“Do you find President Trump confusing?” the reporter pressed further.

I don’t find him confusing. I think I know exactly what he is,” Lawrence said solemnly before smirking.

Wrapping up the interview, the reporter asked Lawrence how she felt about the future. The Hollywood actress didn’t have much hope with Trump leading the country, calling her recent film a “howl of rage” in response to what’s going on in America:

I have to feel hope, you know you have to feel hope. You can’t just fall into despair. But a producer on the movie called this film, ‘an impotent howl of rage.’ It’s like a helpless howl to the moon, like, it’s just an assault.”

Lawrence has been outspoken about President Trump before he was even president. Back in 2015, she cried that it would be “the end of the world” if he took office, and told Trump “f**k you” during a 2016 televised talk show appearance. After he won the election, Lawrence penned an open letter to young women on the feminist side Broadly, that the election should “enrage them.”

“[L]ike Hillary, you can still be an inspiration and get important things done. Do not let this defeat you — let this enrage you! Let it motivate you! Let this be the fire you didn’t have before. If you are an immigrant, if you are a person of color, if you are LGBTQ+, if you are a woman — don’t be afraid, be loud!” she wrote.

Jennifer Lawrence might be pretty, young, and whatever. But what Jennifer Lawrence most informs us of is how President Trump is even expanding his assault on the establishment with the aim of conquest of the cultural heights now controlled by the totalitarian left.

Jennifer Lawrence confesses that a film producer called her latest film “an impotent howl of rage. It’s like a helpless howl to the moon, like, it’s just an assault.” Then Jennifer proclaims that she herself has “to feel hope, you know you have to feel hope. You can’t just fall into despair.”

Jennifer Lawrence wants “hope and change” because she does not want to be defeated. JL advises the leftists to be enraged. In the end Jennifer Lawrence is in despair because she sees as well as everyone on the left that President Trump is setting their cultural heights on fire.

All the left can offer as ammunition against President Trump is “an impotent howl of rage… a helpless howl to the moon.”

Jennifer Lawrence is not the only one howling impotently from the leftist cultural heights. The latest politically correct Star Trek is howling along impotently:

Star Trek: Discovery to tackle Trump-era political divide

Exclusive: ‘The Klingons are going to help us look at certain sides of ourselves and our country’

We predict this impotent howl at the moon from an exhausted TV franchise will go the way of Manimal.

These are all examples of impotent howls of rage from the totalitarian left. But to understand the coming cultural overthrow of the left there are few better examples than the latest offering from the American Horror Story franchise, Cult:

The story AHS: Cult surrounds Sarah Paulson‘s character, whose numerous phobias including her fear of clowns worsens after Donald Trump shocked the world and won the 2016 election last November while at the same time a cult of scary clowns begin a murderous rampage in her town.

We thoroughly enjoyed American Horror Story: Coven, the second season of the American Horror Story franchise. We enjoyed AHS so much we even wrote the Obama version of the series.

Our enthusiasm for AHS was due mostly to the wonderful acting of a bunch of women such as Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates. AHS soon degenerated into gore and blood for the sake of gore and blood. The subsequent reincarnations of the series we peeked at then left.

We pretty much decided never to waste our time on sensationalistic drivel of blood and gore. Then we heard about the new season and we doubly resolved not to watch more Trump bashing. Then, curiosity beat us like rented mules, and we proved the Mae West or Oscar Wilde adage as true – “I can resist anything but temptation.” We watched.

It is supposed to be anti-Trump. But what it is supposed to be and what it is are two different things.

AHS is no longer a vehicle for great women. It is now the Evan Peters show. He is a very good actor who has appeared in an X-Men movie, Jackass and other entertainments. AHS is now a vehicle for Evan Peters.

In AHS Peters is a Trump supporter as imagined hysterically through the eyes of the left. He mocks illegal immigrants by singing “La Cucaracha” and they beat him up. He is also clearly a killer. He’s too cute however to be frightening.

What is frightening are the Hillary supporters. What is very funny are the Hillary supporters. The lead woman character, a lesbian married to a lesbian and with an adopted male boy, is just plain nuts. She didn’t even vote for Hillary. She voted for Jill Stein – in Michigan. As she is reminded by an indignant Asian man, Jill Stein got more votes in Michigan than the margin Trump won by. The Asian man’s wife also did not vote for Hillary because as he screams at her “You were too busy with Etsy to vote”. Then the lead Hillary supporter who voted for Jill Stein weeps. It is all comedy.

She didn’t vote for Hillary but she weeps on the shoulder of her wife all the while crying hysterically “Merrick Garland… Merrick Garland… what’s gonna happen to Merrick Garland???” It is so intentionally overdone we all get the joke. To Hell with Merrick Garland the never on the Supreme Court loser that lost big on election night 2016.

The humor does not stop there. The nanny to be to the lesbian couple was a woman studies major who took time off from school to campaign for Hillary. On election night this millennial college student on leave is upset with CNN for declaring Trump as the newly elected president because CNN did not preface the announcement with a “trigger warning”. By the way, she is a killer too.

The lesbian in chief on election night refuses to believe the announced results. She declares “I won’t believe it until Rachel Maddow says it. She is the only one I trust.” The Evan Peters character crushes a bag of Cheetos and applies it to his face, a direct reference to NeverTrump Glenn Beck who did the same during the primaries to mock President Trump.

It’s all an impotent howl at the moon. It’s blood and climate change gore we likely won’t watch again. The cult, the kooks, the embarrassments are not the Trump supporter. The cult of kooks are the Hillary supporters in need of trigger warnings and Rachel Maddow. American Horror Story: Cult is the story of a deranged cult unable to deal with reality. It’s not about clowns. It’s not about Trump. It is about the triumph of Trump.

In 2017 the story is not clowns nor hurricanes. The story is the TrumpNado. The TrumpNado that has knocked down the corrupt political establishment. The TrumpNado that threatens to bring down the cultural establishment too.

The TrumpNado is blasting forth from sea to shining sea, from North to South, in a destructive path through the heartland of the GOP establishment, Academia, Big Media, and the cultural heights of the left. The TrumpNado will level them all. That’s what they fear. The TrumpNado!

Turkey Shoot: The CACA #DACA Repeal By @RealDonaldTrump Is Genius

Update II: Schlonged!!! The Art of the Schlong! At the beginning of the week Paul Ryan lieutenant Kevin McCarthy announced there would be no BORDER WALL funding in the GOP establishment plans for any legislation passed this month. “We’ve got a lot of busy things happening here,” McCarthy said. “We have to deal with Harvey, we have the debt ceiling, we have a continuing resolution, which will be just about a three-month continuing resolution. So you will deal with the wall a little later in the year.” In other words, no funding for the elemental President Trump campaign promise of a BORDER WALL!

On Wednesday, Paul Ryan, King of the Ant-Trump RINO GOP Establishment, denounced the idea of a three month extension on the debt ceiling as “ridiculous and disgraceful.”

Paul Ryan and the GOP establishment made all sorts of grand promises early in 2017 of how they would get ObamaCare repeal done and all sorts of other President Trump promises passed – by August! It would all be done we were told early this year. It would all be done, don’t worry about it, lots of time to do it all, we have weeks set aside in case things are slower than anticipated, we’ll get it done, yeah, we’ll get it all done and get our agenda passed. The problems are that their agenda is not the Trump Agenda. The problems are all the promises have not come to pass. More promises of getting border wall funding or what they call “border security measures” which means no border wall funding sometime later – will never happen if it is left up to these back-stabbing passive aggressive weaklings.

President Trump knows he is dealing with treacherous establishment liars and users. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell along with the rest of the GOP establishment lie to the voters to get elected and they thought they could do the same to President Trump. But President Trump understands what kind of treacherous creatures he is dealing with:

Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, the GOP establishment thought they could passively aggressive beat President Trump in the art of the deal. Then President Trump schlonged them all, as we predicted in our article below.

President Trump made a better deal with cryin’ Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelousy. It was right out of the Bill Clinton triangulation playbook. President Trump schlonged the GOP establishment. President Trump used cryin’ Chuck and Pelousy to schlong Paul Ryno and the GOP establishment. Big Media and the schlonged tried to claim that President Trump was used by the Obama Dimocrats. To the contrary, President Trump let everyone know he will get his way one way or the other.

President Trump is in Art of the Deal mode. President Trump will even say sweet things about “dreamers” to get his way with cryin’ Chuck and Pelousy. President Trump said sweet things about Ryno and Ditch when they promised to get things done. Now President Trump will say sweet things about cryin’ Chuck and Pelousy if only to strike terror in the hearts of the GOP establishment.

President Trump wants to get things done. Paul Ryno and in the Ditch Mitch lied to President Trump about how hard they would work to get the Trump Agenda passed as they pretended their agenda was the Trump Agenda. Paul Ryno, in the Ditch Mitch, and the rest of the GOP congress instead of working hard went on vacation. Weeks of vacation. They got nothing done for President Trump as they had promised weekly since the beginning of the year. Paul Ryno and in the Ditch Mitch did in fact get a lot done – they blocked President Trump at every turn. So they rewarded themselves with many weeks of vacation.

Paul Ryno and in the Ditch Mitch thought they could keep on getting nothing done and then at the last moment go to President Trump and once again tell him “this is the best we can do so you better sign it” as they present garbage bills for the President’s signature without any border WALL funding. But instead President Trump schlonged them all.

With the three month extension of the debt limit and the passage of hurricane relief aid President Trump has placed congress in the position of getting work done or missing their Christmas vacation. They still have to repeal ObamaCare. They still have to pass tax reform not just tax cuts. There’s a lot of work to do. There’s a filibuster to get rid of too. If these treacherous manipulators want to go on vacation they will have to do what President Trump wants. They now know that President Trump will not stand like a doofus as they get nothing done on the Trump Agenda.

Tonight President Trump will host a dinner. On the menu is Paul Ryno. “Street fighter” Steve Bannon is laughing at the RINOs.

—————————————————————–

Update: Anyone who doubts our analysis that today’s caca DACA dump is a war by President Donald J. Trump against the GOP establishment Swamp should listen to what spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders repeatedly stated at today’s White House Press briefing:

Sarah said it repeatedly at every opportunity that presented itself: “I don’t think the American people elected congress to do things that were easy. They elected them to make a government that works. To work properly and to work for the American people. That’s their job! If they can’t do it then they need to get out of the way and let somebody who can take on the heavy lift and get things accomplished!” In other words, do what President Trump wants or in 2018 “You’re Fired!!!!!!!!!”

Get out of the way and let somebody who can do the job get the job.

——————————————————————

The final nail on the Jeff Flake coffin is in. Ditto for Paul Ryan and the rest of the GOP establishment Swamp swill.

As for the nightmare “dreamers”, years ago we warned them not to sign up for flim-flam con man Barack Obama’s unconstitutional lie because they would be surrendering their personal information willingly. Let’s sniff this DACA caca and let’s start with the dopey “dreamers” who believed in Barack Obama.

Not only did the dopeey “dreamers” turn over all their personal information and location to the federal government, they did so knowing full well that (1) DACA could be repealed at any time, and; (2) that the information they provided to the federal government could be used to kick them out at any time; (3) that they were so informed in documents they signed to obtain DACA status; and (4) because by the act of applying for DACA exemption they confessed they were in the USA illegally!

The Obama Dimocrats lied to the “dreamers” in the same way the GOP establishment lied to the voters. The liars will be punished starting with the GOP liars. In six months, at the height of primary season, GOP liars who vowed to get rid of DACA when they did not think that was possible (before Trump) but now want to save DACA – will have to face the voters. It will be a beautiful nuclear bomb that will drop on their lying heads.

The extra added attraction to all this is that President Trump is for all intents and purposes irrelevant to the destruction of DACA. DACA is and always has been unconstitutional. The courts declared the parent amnesty DAPA to be unconstitutional. The initial lawsuit which we wrote about declared “This lawsuit is not about immigration. It is about the rule of law, presidential power, and the structural limits of the U.S. Constitution. ”

We wrote about Judge Hanen and those cases extensively. Read this prescient analysis we wrote on the day the lawsuit against DAPA was filed:

Illegal immigrants are not stupid. Few will risk trust in Obama when faced with the fact that Obama’s cheesy political ploy will expire once Obama is out of office. Even fewer illegal immigrants will trust Obama’s illegal illegal executive action now that they know that there are lawsuits which challenge Obama’s illegal illegal immigration executive diktat.

Illegal immigrants are canny and play their cards very close to the vest. Illegal immigrants are not about to expose themselves to potential deportation based on what Boob Obama for the moment says or does. Just like American citizens, foreign leaders, children, dogs, and anyone with a lick of sense, illegal immigrants know:

Obama simply cannot be trusted. Obama cannot be trusted on any issue. Obama cannot be trusted by his friends. Obama cannot be trusted by his foes. Obama cannot be trusted.

Illegal immigrants will now wait to see how these lawsuits play out before they raise their heads into a potential trap of whack-a-mole. Illegal immigrants will do a cost/benefit analysis and see that potentially they are putting their names into a deportation list if they rely on Obama’s word.

Illegal immigrants will also understand that by staying quiet until things play out in the courts and in 2016 they can watch and wait from their ensconced positions and not put themselves at risk – they will be no worse off and in less danger if things go badly for them in the courts or in the electoral arena. Obama and activists like Gutiérrez, who are in no danger, will exhort illegals to put themselves out to danger but illegal immigrants will not endanger themselves for the benefit of Obama and the Obama Dimocrat activists.

As it turns out the illegal immigrants who believed in Obama and Obama Dimocrats who used them as political fodder turned out to be most stupid. They signed up for DACA. They gave all their information and locations to the federal government. Why? The dolts believed Big Media and Obama Dimocrats who told them the Obama Dimocrat Reich would last for a thousand years. It didn’t. It’s dead.

What happened instead is that Judge Hanen ruled for the rule of law and against that weasel Obama. The Kraken was unleashed. After an appeal, the Fifth Circuit spoke in support of the rule of law too.

Eventually, the lawsuit against DAPA ended in a 4-4 Supreme Court decision which left the Fifth Circuit decision in place meaning the Obama executive diktat was thrown out and the rule of law prevailed. Now though, if dolts such as the New York State Governor have their way and file a lawsuit against the rule of law, Justice Gorsuch will provide the fifth vote to destroy DACA as DAPA was destroyed – so all the plots and schemes by Obama Dimocrats will end in defeat.

The Cuomo threat is no threat at all. It is a gift to President Trump. If Obama Dimocrat Cuomo sues in court, he will lose the case at the Supreme Court and precedent will hold on the rule of law and against illegal immigration.

The lawsuit that will meet success is the promise from state attorneys general to sue in court if DACA is not ended. Judge Hanen sits waiting in Brownsville with his pen in hand.

President Trump knows all this so he devised a trap to get rid of the liars in the GOP such as Jeff Flake. It’s the Art of the Deal in hyper-drive.

In six months we will all be in primary season. Republicans running for reelection or those seeking nomination to run as a Republican for the House or Senate will have to say whether they are for illegal immigration amnesty via a congressional DACA. Opponents of illegal immigration amnesty will have a turkey shoot of RINOs not seen since the “great Marianas Turkey shoot” during World War II.

Today, President Donald J. Trump, via Attorney General Jeff Sessions, pulled the plug on the Swamp. The Swamp swill will gurgle down the drain come primary season. This purge of the GOP establishment is the way to #DrainTheSwamp. Thank the dumbass illegal immigrants who believed in Obama for this anti-Swamp success.

Summer Of Trump III: Purge GOPe, Attack Big Media, Win!

Summer of Trump III was a replay of Summer of Trump II and Summer of Trump I. Remember? Summer of Trump I and II began with predictions of “it’s over for Trump” and Big Media chortled that no one could even survive the no good/bad/horrible death dealing circumstances. Then Trump triumphed.

We remember it all very well. Our analyses of Summer of Trump I, II, and III were all the same. We looked at the Big Media narrative, then we looked at reality, we predicted the Trump triumphs.

During Summer of Trump I , on September 8, 2015 we described reality as we saw it and while Big Media declared “it’s over for Trump”:

If the GOP establishment does not blow up Donald J. Trump before the Second GOP debate on September 16, it might well be over and Mr. Donald J. Trump will be the Republican nominee for president in 2016. The hostile takeover will be complete.

Are we premature? Is it too early to declare the very real, very authentic Donald J. Trump the winner before one vote has been cast? The latest polls convince us that it is not too early but rather too late to stop Trump.

In December of 2015 we played endless summer music to celebrate the first Summer of Trump.

In July 2016, Summer of Trump II, during the GOP convention that nominated Trump we wrote:

Today, like every Summer of Trump day, will not be any different. Donald J. Trump will be wearing board shorts, hair slicked back, Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses halfway down his nose, Hawaiian shirt open to his navel, flip-flops on – his feet firmly planted on a surfboard riding the zeitgeist wave. [snip]

Surf on zeitgeist wave surfer dude, surf on! Make America Safe Again after the past year and the past few weeks is zeitgeist ocean Yoda beach party dude. The zeitgeist wave is building for Trump

Earlier this Summer of Trump III we wrote:

Obama Dimocrats did not count on President Trump trumping. Obama Dimocrats thought that President Trump would avoid mention of the GA6 race because President Trump would never want to get involved in a race that had everything against him. Obama Dimocrats had tens of millions, a young male candidate to attack a not so young woman, enthusiasm from the Obama Dimocrat left as well as the Bernie Sanders Socialist left, and Big Media and the rest of the party were all in to defeat the hapless Karen Handel who barely came in first in the crowded GOP primary.

Then, Trump tweeted and triumphed.

Once Again, against the polls, Big Media, the GOP establishment, the Deep State, the Obama Dimocrat big dollar donors, leftist thugs, assassins, pajama boys, NeverTrumpers, and everyone who did not vote for candidate Trump in November 2016 – Trump triumphed.

Lessons? This election was essentially meaningless. The goal was to separate the GOP leadership, RINOs and WHINOs from President Trump and that has once again failed because Trump voters love to Trump! Trump! Trump! The only lasting lesson from this election we can think of is one we wrote about years ago. [snip]

If Trump voters stick with President Trump then the GOP leadership has to stick with President Trump and the 2016 elections are a rerun. Obama Dimocrats can’t get the voters they disparage daily.

We’ve been correct in our analysis because we look at reality, not Big Media’s version of their delusions.

This Summer of Trump III once again we heard “it’s over for Trump”. Swine GOP establishment types like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell stabbed President Donald J. Trump in the back repeatedly as did some of President Trump’s cabinet members. Yet again, Big Media chortled, “it’s over for Trump” this time for real, really.

So what really happened in Summer of Trump III? Did the Charlottesville nonsense hurt President Trump? Did Hurricane Harvey knock out the Trumpnado? Did North Korea nuke President Trump? Did the GOP establishment depose President Trump? Did the Obama Dimocrats come one step closer to a glorious win in 2018 then 2020? Did the eclipse blot out President Trump? HA!

We’ll present the news Big Media is terrified to discuss. Remember as we discuss reality, that Summer of Trump III was supposed to be the death of President Trump because he could not survive the treachery of the GOP establishment and because everyday Republicans and Republican elected officials would run away from President Trump in fear of massive election losses in 2018 as voters turned against President Trump. Also remember our predictions in May of this year of big GOP victories in 2018 and the big reelection victory of President Trump in 2020.

Let’s start with the Obama Dimocrats. These kooks and klowns should be doing great if the narrative that President Trump is in any trouble whatsoever is in any way accurate. How are the Obama Dimocrats doing?

That bloated sack of feces from Canada, Michael Moore agrees with us that “Trump is on track to win again in 2020“. So much for “it’s over for Trump.”

Money? Citing the transgender order, Mitch McConnell’s attacks, “Trump’s crashing popularity”, and other absurdities, Big Media cannot understand why the Republicans are flush with cash from low dollar donors and the Obama Dimocrats can’t buy a shoelace with their failed fundraising efforts.

It’s not just us. The Vatican of Obama Dimocrats, the Big Pink hating 538 blog has predictions of what will happen in 2018. That Obama Dimocrat website revered by the leftist kooks predicts that the best Obama Dimocrats can hope for in 2018 is, well, read it and cry tears of laughter:

A new analysis, published by FiveThirtyEight, shows the congressional map for the 2018 midterm elections has a record-setting pro-GOP bias, which could mean more winning for President Donald Trump and his Republican party. [snip]

Even if Democrats were to win every single 2018 House and Senate race for seats representing places that Hillary Clinton won or that Trump won by less than 3 percentage points — a pretty good midterm by historical standards — they could still fall short of the House majority and lose five Senate seats.

So, under the best scenario, Obama Dimocrats can’t win the House of Representatives and the Republicans will be very close to 60 votes in the Senate, says 538 to the kooks.

The Cook Political Report, at the height of “it’s over for Trump” this Summer of Trump III likewise sees Obama Dimocrats in trouble, even Joe Manchin of West Virginia who has tried to pretend he is not an Obama Dimocrat even as he votes like an Obama Dimocrat.

Our prediction is the GOP maintains control of the House and the Senate GOP will have more than 60 seats. The Obama Dimocrats will have to defend 25 seats and the Republicans 8 seats, so even though midterm elections usually go badly for the party in power, we’ve never had a midterm with trump, Trump, trump. Add to all this goat’s head soup the fact that many of the Obama Dimocrats will run in states that President Trump won while the Republicans will also run in states that President Trump won, and, well, reality is easy to predict for us.

But, but, but, what about Barack Obama? Won’t Barack Obama save the Obama Dimocrats from President Trump??? Um, no, says that well known Obama Dimocrat Howard Dean. Barack Obama, says Howard Dean, is the kiss of death:

It’s long been over for the flim-flam con man Barack Obama!!!

As to the GOP establishment and President Trump, the outcome of this fight bodes well for President Trump too. We previously wrote about #DitchMitch and the battles to come with the GOP establishment. It’s happening:

Trump Divorces the GOP Congress [snip]

This would explain Mr. Trump’s recent gibes at Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for the Senate’s health-care failure. On Thursday he broadened the indictment to include blaming Mr. McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan, in advance, for trouble raising the federal debt ceiling when Congress returns in September.

The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board writes that President Trump will be the one to suffer and that attacking the GOP establishment finks will prevent President Trump from fulfilling his agenda. But what is President Trump’s agenda? The GOP establishment wants the agenda to be tax cuts for corporations and not much else. The GOP establishment does not want to build the wall nor stop illegal immigration. The GOP establishment does not want what President Trump wants.

The Trump agenda the GOP establishment does not like is the one the Trump voters want. What is the Trump agenda? First, attack and destroy the America hating Big Media that believes they are the masters of the people. Second, attack and destroy the political establishment that has failed. That’s the real Trump agenda. Tax cuts and all the other “policy” proposals fall under the details of what to do once Big Media is destroyed and the political establishment has been overturned.

The GOP establishment must be destroyed and President Trump is the one to do it:

The Memo: Trump allies say he needs a GOP scalp

Republicans on Capitol Hill lament President Trump’s aggressive behavior toward them, but some people in the president’s orbit are urging him to up the ante even further.

They say that, far from making nice, Trump needs to instill fear so that lawmakers do not feel at liberty to thwart him.

“Most members of Congress are arrogant, and until a scalp is actually taken they are going to continue to be defiant,” longtime Trump friend Roger Stone told The Hill. “All he needs to do is punish one incumbent and I think you’d see a sea-change.”

He is 100 percent correct to go after McCain, Flake, Murkowksi,” said Sam Nunberg, who worked as an aide to Trump’s 2016 campaign. [snip]

Steve Bannon, recently ousted as Trump’s chief strategist, does not appear to be in a compromising mood, however. He promised to keep up his own attacks on McConnell in an interview published by The Economist on Friday.

“I’m going to light him up,” Bannon said.

Trump himself seems in no particular mood to declare a truce.

“The only problem I have with Mitch McConnell is that, after hearing Repeal & Replace for 7 years, he failed! That should NEVER have happened!” the president wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

A New York Times story the previous day had reported that Trump and McConnell had not spoken to each other “in weeks” and that McConnell had “privately expressed uncertainty that Mr. Trump will be able to salvage his administration after a series of summer crises.” [snip]

And the president took aim at Corker, who had publicly called his “stability” and “competence” into question.

“Strange statement by Bob Corker considering that he is constantly asking me whether or not he should run again in ’18. Tennessee not happy!” Trump tweeted on Friday morning. [snip]

There are even some internal party critics of Trump’s, however, who don’t dismiss his words out of hand.

Appearing on Hugh Hewitt’s syndicated radio show on Thursday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said of Trump, “He’s running against Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham and others. The Congress is very unpopular, particularly with the Republican base, so there’s nothing unhinged about it. It’s a political strategy that I’m not so sure is smart, but it’s a very thought-out strategy. There’s nothing crazy about it.” [snip]

Stone argued that Trump is “far more popular and more influential with Republican primary voters than any members of Congress and any member of the United States Senate, and he has enormous leverage to go into party primaries.” [snip]

If those sentiments might be met with consternation on Capitol Hill, they are firmly endorsed by some among the conservative grassroots.

“Really, the Republican leadership in the House and the Senate needs to get behind President Trump and his agenda,” said Jenny Beth Martin, the president and co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots. “I think it is fair for him to shed light on what is really happening on Capitol Hill.

“The voters voted for Donald Trump to be a sledgehammer and a wrecking ball to Washington, D.C.,” she added.

Kick the tires and light the fires! Summer of Trump is not over.

Paul Ryan has done nothing to help President Trump. Every time Paul Ryan sees an opportunity to attack President Trump he does so. John McCain, like Paul Ryan also delights in attacks against President Trump as they both did after President Trump wisely pardoned Joe Arpaio.

How wonderful to hear then, after the attacks on the Arpaio pardon that Joe Arpaio might repay the favor and run against GOP establishment stooge Jeff Flake. Flake and the NeverTrump kooks are in trouble:

Flake’s in big trouble — The Arizona GOP Senate primary is still about a year away. But the prospect that Sen. Jeff Flake won’t make it out of the GOP primary is looking very real. Two polls conducted since Trump ripped into Flake on Twitter have Flake trailing Kelli Ward by double digits. Flake hasn’t led in a single primary poll taken at any point since last November.

Maybe Heller is too — Republican Sen. Dean Heller could also be in trouble. JMC Analytics released a poll this week of the Nevada GOP Senate primary. It found Heller (who’s had a lukewarm relationship with Trump) losing to Danny Tarkanian (a perennial Republican candidate and big-time Trump backer) 39 percent to 31 percent. Heller answered this survey by releasing his own internal poll showing him up 55 percent to 33 percent. The truth is probably somewhere in between.

Fu*k Flake!

The Hill has some wet fingers feeling the winds of 2018:

The 2018 Senate map heavily favors Republicans, who will only defend eight seats, including just two of which are considered vulnerable right now. By comparison, Democrats have to defend 25 seats, including 10 in states that Trump won in 2016. [snip]

Here are the seven most vulnerable Senate seats of the 2018 midterm elections as they stand now.

Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.) [snip]

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.)

McCaskill is one of the few statewide Democratic officeholders left in Missouri, which Trump won by 19 points in November. [snip]

Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.)

Donnelly leveraged a bipartisan approach to politics and his blue-collar appeal into a Senate seat in 2012, but he’ll have to fight yet another tough battle if he wants to keep his Senate seat in a state Trump won by 19 points. [snip]

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.)

Flake wouldn’t rank this high in a normal election year, but a Republican president threatening to support a primary challenge to an incumbent GOP senator isn’t normal, either. [snip]

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.)

In 2016, West Virginia went for Trump by a larger margin than any other state – 42 points. [snip]

Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.)

Heitkamp hails from another deep-red state – North Dakota went for Trump by about 36 points. [snip]

Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.)

Republicans have a lot to like about their Montana prospects. Trump won the state by more than 20 points in November, and Republican Greg Gianforte just won the state’s at-large congressional seat in a special election even after he assaulted a reporter. [snip]

There are five other Democrats running in states Trump won – Sens. Bill Nelson (Fla.), Bob Casey Jr. (Pa.), Tammy Baldwin (Wis.), Debbie Stabenow (Mich.) and Sherrod Brown (Ohio). These five do not yet seem as vulnerable as the others, but the races could move up the rankings depending on how primaries shake out.

Florida Republicans are in a holding pattern as Gov. Rick Scott (R) weighs a bid, since his entry would immediately clear the field and give Nelson a top-tier challenger. Casey and Baldwin are waiting to see how the large GOP primary fields taking them on shake out.

Musician Kid Rock is mulling a bid against Stabenow. And Brown could face a rematch against his 2012 opponent, state treasurer Josh Mandel, but some state Republicans aren’t excited about his campaign and are looking for other options.

President Donald J. Trump will be a powerful, if not determinative voice, in these primary and general elections. It won’t be the GOP that will win in 2018. President Donald J. Trump will win in 2018 and 2020.

Summer of Trump never ends.

End Of The Beginning: @RealDonaldTrump 100, Le Pen, North Korea

Update: Happy Birthday Melania! We’ll celebrate your birthday when we have more time – after the tech hamsters fix our comment log-in problems.

While we wait to celebrate, there is lots of news on topics we wrote about in the original article below. The big surprise today is a potential order on withdrawal from NAFTA. This potential NAFTA withdrawal is likely more art of the dealing. President Trump this week imposed stiff duties of 3% to 24% on Canadian soft lumber in an effort to “level the playing field” for American lumber companies. A potential NAFTA withdrawal is a Trump art of the deal Trump card to move matters along more favorable lines to the U.S.

Somewhat “surprising” only in the sense that it is difficult to believe that an American President is trying to keep his campaign promises – President Trump is doing just that. On Wednesday, as promised, Trump administration officials outlined proposed deep cuts in taxes for individuals and companies. There’s also progress on ObamaCare repeal and replace with maybe a vote this week.

As to North Korea warmongering, fear is growing that NK is shrinking their nukes to make it easier to place them on missiles to attack the United States. President Trump, as promised, invited all 100 senators to the White House for a briefing on the North Korean threats.

We won’t make any dirty jokes about Li’l Kim’s li’l missile – we’re too busy beating the tech hamsters to get them to fix the comments section.

————————————————————————–

The war for the West is on. After the opening moves, all the chess pieces are in place.

In America the modern day Paul Revere and Winston Churchill, combined into one Donald J. Trump is now fully engaged after almost 100 days in the Oval Office. In Europe, whatever happens in the second round of voting, Marine Le Pen finds herself at Poitiers, ready to refight the Battle of Tours. In Asia, the American aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson is engaged in military exercises alongside Japanese warships, soon to be joined by the USS Michigan and other mighty American warships, as they all get ready for a bloodletting in the Korean peninsula. Even Barack Obama is back from vacation with the rich and famous ready to make more money by flim-flaming the most gullible on the left.

Chess players and Churchill get it: “This is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, but it is perhaps the end of the beginning.”

The French election results are good news. While it is true that Macron, a globalist pawn, is likely to win the second round of the election in France; while it is also true that Marine Le Pen is not a favorite of ours because she is more socialist than many understand; while it is also true that Marine Le Pen will now face the full brunt of the French political establishment and all the institutions of the French Republic; while it is also true that all the polls show defeat for Le Pen and victory for globalist pawn Macron… there are good tidings in the results from the election in France.

The good news as we reflect on the revolutionary election in France? First giant bit of good news is that the establishment political parties are defeated. Yes, Macron is a globalist pawn but Macron ran as a pretend “outsider” because that is the only way to win. We explained this in July 2015 in regards to the “mystique” of candidate Donald J. Trump:

Despite all these ideological attacks and corporate desponsorship attacks, and Big Media attacks, Donald Trump is growing in popularity with the voters. Why? We explain in simple English the Donald Trump mystique:

WHEN YOU ARE IN A SNAKE PIT YOU DON’T CARE WHO HANDS YOU A STICK.

We’ve been warning about this for the longest time. In recent elections in so-called “democratic” countries – the voters are being ignored. In election after election, voters vote for an establishment political party – then once in power the political party they voted for stabs them in the back. Witness the 2014 elections in the United States in which the Republican Party won elections based on opposition to Barack Obama then once in cozy offices they pull out all the stops to assist Barack Obama to pass ObamaTrade. This happens over and over and over.

Eventually voters catch on and they decide to vote for the biggest motherf*cker around who will do what they want. The voters find themselves in a snake pit, surrounded by vipers, and they reach up to grab whatever stick is handed to them.

In Europe, extreme right wing parties increase in popularity. Why? Because the voters find themselves in a snake pit – betrayed by the political parties they vote for based on lies. Eventually the voters say “Fu*k you motherf*ckers, Fu*k you” and Marine Le Pen gathers strength in France, Denmark goes right wing, and the rallies in Germany grow and grow. In many of these cases the issue is immigration and illegal immigration.

The voters trapped in the snake pit learn.

Second bit of good news from the revolutionary elections in France? Marine Le Pen is one Muslim terrorist attack from leading the French Republic.

Great Britain’s Telegraph confirms we were right in July 2015 with this report on the election results in France:

The Socialist Party’s official candidate Benoît Hamon came sixth with a paltry 6.2 per cent of the vote, meaning the two major French parties mustered less than 27 per cent of the vote.

The two finalists offer France two very different visions of Europe and the world, with Mr Macron billing himself as the progressive versus conservatives, and Ms Le Pen as the patriot versus the globalists.

On Europe, he wants to further beef up the euro zone, while Ms Le Pen intends to leave the euro and hold an in-out referendum on EU membership within six months of taking power.

Most of the defeated contenders instantly called on their supporters to vote for Mr Macron, with Mr Fillon warning that Ms Le Pen would lead France “to ruin and European chaos”. [snip]

From his Paris headquarters, an ecstatic Mr Macron, 39, an ex-investment banker and economy minister, said: “We are clearly turning a page of French political life.”

His pole position vindicated his huge bet to leave the government of Socialist president François Hollande a year ago to found his own movement, En Marche! (Onwards!), on a “neither Left nor Right” platform.

Many predicted the bid by a political novice who has never held elected office would burst like a bubble of champagne Socialism.

Speaking from her stronghold in Hénin Beaumont, a former mining town in northern France which has an FN mayor, Ms Le Pen insisted: “The first step that will lead the French to the Elysée has been taken.

“Either we continue on the path of total de-regulation, offshoring, mass immigration, free movement of terrorists, the reign of big money. Or you choose the France of borders that protects your identity,” she said.

It is time to liberate the French people.

Marine Le Pen, flawed as she is, with economic policies we disagree with, is a latter day Joan of Arc. She is rallying the French nation to defend itself. Whether she wins or loses in the second round of elections, Marine Le Pen has set the terms of the argument that must be discussed in France and in all the West. For Marine Le Pen, as we wrote in that July 2015 when “it’s over for Trump” was conventional wisdom, the issue is immigration, and the Muslim soft invasion of Europe.

Those that discount Marine Le Pen as a sure loser, have an historic tide to contend with. Le Pen’s momentum is a slow-moving reaction against the men of Davos — as we have seen with Brexit and Trump — but markets don’t want to believe it.”

As in the Battle of Tours, Marine Le Pen is fighting the invasion of Europe by Muslim culture, ideology, and population. The actual military Battle of Tours fought off an armed invasion. The battle Marine Le Pen wages is thus far political, cultural, ideological, and the military aspects are restricted to Muslim terror bombings. Marine Le Pen is one Muslim terror attack away from becoming the official leader of the French nation. But whatever happens on the electoral front, Marine Le Pen will eventually win the argument and the modern battle because her analysis of France invaded is obvious to all that are willing to see the terrorist attacks and the population invasions for what they are.

In France, we are at the end of the beginning.

In America too, we are at the end of the beginning.

Even as we celebrated our 10 year anniversary, President Donald J. Trump will celebrate his first 100 days as President this coming Saturday. President Trump will not only celebrate this milestone on day 100. Because Big Media planned one of their Trump-hate orgies, this one known as the White House Correspondents Association Dinner, on the same Saturday – President Trump with his 100 day celebration schlonged the Big Media animals. It is a joy to behold.

For his first 100 days, President Trump has been a nonstop vortex of work, work, work. The GOP establishment in the House of Representatives has been a non-working stop on the President and the nation:

This Do-Nothing Congress Is A Travesty

Agenda: Shortly after Donald Trump won the election, House Speaker Paul Ryan said that Republicans had to “go big, go bold, and do things.” So far, the GOP has not delivered.

They have the House, they have the Senate, they have the presidency — and nothing’s happening,” lamented PJ Media co-founder Roger Simon earlier this week. “Nothing, that is, that Donald Trump doesn’t do by himself. … The Republicans in the legislature are a disgrace.

Congress did pass, and Trump signed, 13 bills to undo last-minute Obama administration regulations. And the Senate approved Trump’s Supreme Court pick. But what about actually advancing long-awaited Republican legislative priorities, like ObamaCare repeal and tax cuts? Nada. [snip]

There was every reason to think that Republicans would have, in the words of Instapundit’s Glenn Reynolds, bills “lined up like airplanes on a runway ready to take off in the new year.”

That is, after all, what’s happened in the past when one party gained control of the White House after securing both the House and Senate. Lawmakers rushed to enact key pieces of their agenda that had been bottled up by the opposition, or that the president ran on. [snip]

There’s plenty of blame to go around for the GOP’s lack of achievements so far. But Ryan has been the biggest disappointment, since the House is where things get rolling.

Ryan earned his reputation for his ability to dive into big issues and produce thoughtful, innovative conservative reforms. So far, his ability to act aggressively and unify his caucus around anything has been sorely lacking.

If Ryan can’t figure out how to do this, and soon, he should consider handing the Speaker’s gavel to someone who can “go big, go bold, and do things.

It is the end of the beginning. This week, with the first “skinny” budget due in order to avert a government shutdown, President Trump will have to take on the Paul Ryan establishment head-on. Already, Big Media wants to help Paul Ryan shut down President Trump and close the door on his great big beautiful wall:

Trump’s Wall Demands May Decide Whether 100th Day Is a Shutdown [snip]

Trump’s biggest demand is a Democratic deal-breaker: money for his long-promised border wall with Mexico. Democrats hope he’ll blink to avoid an embarrassing milestone for a new president trying to prove he can govern. A partial shutdown would start on Saturday, Trump’s 100th day in office.

The Wall is a very important tool in stopping drugs from pouring into our country and poisoning our youth (and many others)!” Trump wrote Monday on Twitter.

There is an out for both sides — a short-term spending plan that would provide another week or so for negotiations after the deadline early Saturday.

“We feel very confident the government’s not going to shut down,” White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Monday, although he said he wouldn’t guarantee it. The spokesman wouldn’t say whether the president was willing to shut the government down over funding for the border wall. [snip]

Right now, each side is dug in. And Trump is making things more complicated, not less. At the same time as budget talks intensify, he’s pushing House Republicans to re-start work on an Obamacare repeal-and-replace bill after the last one imploded in March when conservatives walked away.

Trump’s also planning to announce at least the broad parameters of a tax overhaul on Wednesday that seems sure to have plenty to annoy Democrats, including likely tax cuts for corporations and high-earners.

On top of that, Trump insists he won’t go quietly even if Republicans and Democrats cut a deal. [snip]

Republicans may not be willing to allow the government to shut down over the wall.

“I wouldn’t risk a trillion-dollar funding bill for a $3 billion wall,” Representative Tom Cole, the Oklahoma Republican who sits on the House appropriations and budget committees, told MSNBC Monday. “There’s another way, another time to get this.”

Through it all, Trump has sounded upbeat, saying he thinks negotiations are in good shape to avert a shutdown.

President Trump is attacked by Big Media because he wants to fulfill his campaign promises. President Trump is under attack by Big Media and the rest of the political establishment because he wants the congress to work, actually work, not just go on vacations they call “recesses”.

President Trump is battling Congress, Big Media, the political establishment, the academic establishment, and just about every institution of power. At the same time President Trump is prepared to confront North Korea.

Already President Trump has deployed the USS Carl Vinson to exercises with Destroyers from the Japanese navy. The guided missile launcher USS Michigan submarine will arrive off the Korean coast by Tuesday. This armada will soon be joined by the South Korean navy. It’s the end of the beginning:

The Michigan is armed with around 150 Tomahawk missiles, with a range of about 1,000 miles.

All 100 U.S. senators will be briefed on North Korea at the White House late afternoon Wednesday. Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will do the briefing, according to a Pentagon spokesman.

Tuesday is Army Day in North Korea and U.S. intelligence is expecting some kind of “firepower display.” North Korea has continued its show of defiance, detaining a third U.S. citizen, Tony Kim, on Saturday.

The North has also continued its barrage of aggressive language, threatening the Vinson — its forces are “combat-ready to sink a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier with a single strike,” state-run media bragged.

However, Bill Richardson, the former New Mexico Governor who has also served as U.N. Ambassador, has previously negotiated prisoner releases with North Korea, and he suggested that the taking of detainees might indicate there’s a “path forward” with North Korea. Prisoner releases in the past have led “to at least a dialogue.”

“They use…these detainees from the United States as bargaining chips,” he told CBS News. “They always want something in return.”

Porcine Bill Richardson demonstrates the problem with Obama Dimocrats. Instead of expressing outrage at the capture of American citizens to be used as pawns, the squealing Richardson thinks this is good news because North Korea can now use a hostage to get “something in return”. But North Korea is dealing with President Donald J. Trump not the fey weakling Barack Obama.

Barack Obama is back for profit taking after his profitable vacations. President Trump invited the fifteen U.N. Security Council Ambassadors to the White House and warned them on North Korea.

The Obama loving Politico today reports, on Obama’s hidden Iran deal giveaway. Barack Obama infuriated the Justice Department, with his release from prison, as part of the Iran deal, men considered to be “threats to national security”. The Muslim men Barack Obama released from prison include three who illegally procured for Iran microelectronics for cruise missiles, a man serving an eight year prison sentence for “conspiring to supply Iran with satellite technology and hardware”. Obama also removed a $10 million jury imposed penalty for money received from Iran by the former prison inmate. Obama also “dropped charges and international arrest warrants against 14 other men, all of them fugitives” wanted by Interpol. Not only that, Barack Obama removed “Interpol red notices and dismissed any charges against 14 Iranians”. Barack Obama protected, aided, and abetted the Persian Empire of Terror and assorted terrorists interested in acquiring nuclear weapons.

That may be about to change” reports Obama loving Politico. Why? Because President Donald J. Trump, that’s why.

For Barack Obama, revealing reports such as the one from Politico are the end of the end.

For President Donald J. Trump, it is the end of the beginning. There is lots more winning to come.

#MOAB “The Mother Of All Bombs”: The #TrumpTrain Big Wheels Roll Bigly

President Trump is not alone.

President Trump is not without resources.

On Thursday President Trump dropped a MOAB bomb, the biggest bomb that is not nuclear, on tunnel systems in Afghanistan. The #MOAB message hit hardest in Iran, North Korea, and Syria. Wanna play in tunnels boys? You are digging your own grave.

The old scripture Moab was the son of Lot, after the Almighty destroyed the cities of the plain, Sodom and Gomorrah. Hint, hint, ladies and gents.

As discussed in our comments section, North Korea will probably blow up on Saturday, April 15. The glorious “Day of the Sun” will likely be the glorious “Day of the Death of the Son“.

The Trump Doctrine is in full force and effect.

The Trump Doctrine

President Trump is not Barack Hussein Obama. Obama was a lead-from-my-behind asshole. Obama let the problems fester, profit, and proliferate. For eight years the cancers grew. Surgeon Trump will remove the problems.

It is a lot of problems President Trump inherited. Fortunately President Trump is not alone.

* * * * * *

Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley was an odd anti-Trump choice for many when she was chosen by President Trump. But damn, girlfriend has been kicking ass at the U.N.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is a bit of an imp, we think Irish Leprechaun every time he smiles. Damn, that good ol’ boy recused himself from the Russia distraction nonsense and is now full tilt boogie on immigration and all else under his jurisdiction that matters.

Office of Management and the Budget’s Mike Mulvaney is adding it all up. He’s taking the numbers, dividing them, and most of all doing lots of subtraction. Mike less-is-more-vaney.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, wow, well he… um… and uh, yeah, and well he’s… um… done… um… well he truly has… um… Well, something is just not right with that boy.

Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Ben Carson! The once “Gentle Ben” has grown claws and is threatening some massive growling, if only those damn elevators would work.

Secretary of Energy Rick Perry? That Texan is writing letters. They’re “Dear John” letters. Letters that break little hearts. Secretary Perry is breaking little hearts, bless his heart.

Secretary of State Tillerson? Damn that T-Rex is Jurassic Park come alive chowing down on Big Media, Russians, Syria, North Korea. T-Rex can be accused of theft. He stole President Trump’s flag!

Or maybe just borrowed it.

Or maybe President Trump gave everyone who works for Trump and us a replica of his flag.

* * * * * *

What are President Trump’s appointments doing? Take a squint.

Mike Mulvaney is busy:

Agency heads will receive a 14-page memorandum outlining changes. The memo, which replaces the federal hiring ban Trump enacted in January, outlines cuts based on Trump’s “skinny” budget, released last month. The budget proposal called for deep cuts to domestic programs and an increase in military spending.

The memo tells agencies to “begin taking immediate actions to achieve near-term workforce reductions.” It also instructs agencies to develop by June 30 a plan to “maximize employee performance” — i.e., take steps to reward employees deemed effective while working to improve or dismiss weak performers. The memo also calls for delivery by September of an agency reform plan to shrink personnel to accommodate long term budget reductions outlined in the skinny budget.

Speaking to reporters, budget chief Mick Mulvaney said the end result will likely take effect in about 11 months. The executive branch will be dramatically different, Mulvaney said, with agencies operating more like private businesses. Mulvaney downplayed the cuts, saying the focus was on making agencies more efficient, not just smaller.

Really what you’re talking about doing is restructuring Washington, D.C.,” Mulvaney said. “That is how you drain the swamp.”

“At the end of the day,” Mulvaney added, “this leads to a government that is dramatically more accountable, dramatically more efficient, and dramatically more effective at following through on the promises that the president made during the campaign.”

The White House’s latest instructions to the agencies would appear to bear the fingerprints of chief strategist Steve Bannon, who pledged himself publicly to “deconstruction of the administrative state.”

Less is more. Mulvaney will remove “programs that are duplicative, non-essential to the agency’s mission, or are already carried out in some form by state and local government.” That’s “Don’t F with Me” in math. “He pointed out that there are 43 different workforce training programs across 13 different agencies, and that was a case of “if everybody is responsible, nobody is responsible” and of hereditary structure that needs to change.” Numbers matter, budgets matter.

Jeff Sessions gave a speech at the southern border this week.

It’s Trump time, not weak Obama sleepy-time.

Why does Attorney General Jeff Sessions give such a tough Trumpy speech? Pew Research provides a hint:

Half (50%) of the 165,265 total arrests made by the federal government in fiscal 2014 – the most recent year for which statistics are available – were for immigration-related offenses, such as crossing the border illegally or smuggling others into the United States. A decade earlier, immigration-related offenses accounted for 28% of all federal arrests.

At the same time, arrests for drug crimes fell from 23% of the total in 2004 to 14% in 2014. Those for supervision violations, such as probation or parole infractions, fell from 17% to 14%. Arrests for property crimes, including fraud and embezzlement, declined from 11% to 8%. And arrests for weapon offenses, such as possession of an unregistered firearm, fell from 7% to 4%.

Illegal immigration and associated crimes committed by that population are a cancer on the country. Arrests of illegals cut down the resources that can be deployed to stop other crimes. The answer is not to stop arresting illegals and devote resources elsewhere. The answer is to stop the massive influx of illegal immigration then tackle other crimes once you have established the principle of “rule of law”.

Notice those numbers come from the Obama weakness era. “In 2014, 61% of all federal arrests involved non-U.S. citizens”. Back then no matter how many arrests of illegal immigrants took place, millions more illegals came in to replace those removed. Stopping illegal immigration is the nexus of all President Trump policies. These numbers don’t include state and local government arrests of illegal aliens committing more crimes in this country. You have to stop the bleeding before healing can begin. Doctor Jeff Sessions is on the job.

Secretary of Energy Rick Perry’s “Dear John” letters:

Secretary of Energy Rick Perry said the U.S. “is in the process of reviewing many of its policies and reserves its position on this issue, which will be communicated at a future date,” Italy’s industry and energy minister Carlo Calenda said in a statement.

Calenda said other G7 members “reaffirmed their commitment towards the implementation of the Paris Agreement to effectively limit the increase in global temperature well below 2°C above pre-industrial level.”

The Trump administration would not sign onto a statement mentioning Paris, since the president is still deciding whether or not to keep his campaign pledge. Perry also wanted the G7 to include support for coal and natural gas in its statement.

“Therefore, we believe it is wise for countries to use and pursue highly efficient energy resources,” Perry said in a statement after his meeting in Rome with energy ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the European Union.

Perry specifically pushed for a commitment to “[h]igh efficiency, low-emission coal and natural gas with adequate financing from multi-lateral development banks and private sector investment.”

Perry also advocated for “[a]dvanced civil-nuclear technologies that are proliferation resistant, produce little to no waste and ensure safety.”

“Innovation is also a top priority for the Trump Administration,” Perry said. “We are committed to developing, deploying and commercializing breakthrough technologies and developing the necessary policies that will help renewables become competitive with traditional sources of energy.”

Italy, which hosted this year’s G7 meeting, pushed to include the Paris agreement in a policy statement member countries typically sign after these meetings end. No statement was signed since Perry couldn’t commit to backing Paris.

The Paris agreement went into effect in 2016, committing United Nations members to reduce greenhouse gas emissions blamed for global warming. President Barack Obama committed the U.S. to cut emissions 26 to 28 percent by 2025.

Trump promised to withdraw from the Paris agreement on the campaign trail, and the president has already issued executive orders to dismantle the regulatory regime Obama relied on to meet his Paris pledge.

The White house is split on whether or not to keep Trump’s campaign pledge. On one side, Ivanka Trump, White House aide Jared Kushner and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson support remaining in Paris.
White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt oppose the Paris agreement.

Secretary “first neurosurgeon” Ben Carson of the Department of Housing and Urban Development? He might get stuck in elevators, but he knows where he is going:

Ben Carson Finds $500 Billion (Billion!) In Errors During Audit Of Obama HUD

Ben Carson was the first neurosurgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins, so, he’s kind of a super hero.

But apparently, he’s also not a bad accountant.

President Trump picked Carson to head the Department of Housing and Urban Development, whose budget grew by leaps and bounds under Barack Obama.

In one of his first acts as HUD Secretary, Carson ordered an audit of the agency. What he found was staggering: $520 billion in bookkeeping errors.

The total amounts of errors corrected in HUD’s notes and consolidated financial statements were $516.4 billion and $3.4 billion, respectively,” the auditors wrote.

But there were plenty of other problems, too.

There were several other unresolved audit matters, which restricted our ability to obtain sufficient, appropriate evidence to express an opinion. These unresolved audit matters relate to (1) the Office of General Counsel’s refusal to sign the management representation letter, (2) HUD’s improper use of cumulative and first-in, first-out budgetary accounting methods of disbursing community planning and development program funds, (3) the $4.2 billion in nonpooled loan assets from Ginnie Mae’s stand-alone financial statements that we could not audit due to inadequate support, (4) the improper accounting for certain HUD assets and liabilities, and (5) material differences between HUD’s subledger and general ledger accounts. This audit report contains 11 material weaknesses, 7 significant deficiencies, and 5 instances of noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations. [snip]

So, look for Carson to get out his scalpel and start operating. Or perhaps he’ll use a machete.

Turns out “Gentle Ben” is a Grizzly.

Speaking of Grizzly, as is Mama Grizzly, U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley:

On Syria, Israel, Russia, and every other issue, Nikki Haley is “taking names”. She is schlonging the bad boys. Big Media doesn’t like it. Screw Big Media.

Screwing Big Media appears to be the joy of Secretary of State T-Rex Tillerson. T-Rex refuses to take Big Media along with him on his world-wide T-Rexing. Big Media can get their own travel arrangements made is the message from T-Rex. T-Rex has work to do and babysitting the travel of Big Media blowhards is not a job for a mighty T-Rex.

Big Media is a mosquito to T-Rex. A bigger gnat is Russian President Vladimir Putin. Anyone here remember when we declared Vladimir Putin to be a strong and powerful leader? We saw what Putin was up to in Syria and we saw the threat he posed to the world because it is in Russia’s interest to drive up the cost of oil. As we wrote, Putin has his own “operation Grand Slam” just like Goldfinger. That is Russia’s ultimate aim. Russia’s Vladimir Putin is a smart powerful guy who knows that because of instability in the middle east (hey, something could happen to those oil fields in Saudi Arabia if some country lobbed a bunch of missiles to set the whole place on fire) Russia is in position to profit handsomely.

Vladimir Putin indeed was, as we declared, a strong powerful leader. But that is like saying Woody Allen is a strong powerful man – in a roomful of pre-schoolers. Vladimir Putin was a strong powerful leader when the opposition was weak fey simpering apologist America-hating “managed decline” Barack Obama. Now Vladimir Putin is in opposition to President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of Defense General “Mad-dog” Mattis, and Secretary of State T-Rex Tillerson. Up against these is like Woody Allen up against Seal Team Six. All of a sudden you’re not so strong and powerful anymore.

In Moscow a few days ago, President Putin pretended his was not going to meet with his once friend T-Rex Tillerson. Obama Dimocrats opposed the confirmation of T-Rex because they said he was too close to Russian President Putin. But in Moscow, President Putin played games that he would not meet with President Trump’s emissary. In the end President Putin met with T-Rex for hours.

The Putin gamesmanship would have worked if he was up against weak, fey, simpering, lead-from-presenting-his-behind Barack Obama. But against T-Rex Trump, President Putin appeared to be old and weak, playing games long retired. The result of all the games is that T-Rex Trump took all the winnings.

Vladimir Putin is isolated because of his not credible position on the Syria issue. Putin looks either a liar or a fool. He knows it now. China abstained on the U.N. vote and did not veto as would usually be expected. China is also making some very powerful threats against North Korea, as our comments section has noted. Putin against Obama was a towering figure. Putin against T-Rex is a gnat. Putin against Trump is a mosquito.

To all that display of military and diplomatic might, President Trump adds his most powerful display of force. President Trump understands that the most important component of Make America Great Again is economic. To that end President Trump commands Mulvaney, Perry, Sessions, Carson, and even Paul Ryan (something is just not right with that boy) to make America an economic powerhouse.

On Paul Ryan (something is just not right with that boy), President Trump and his allies might have to drop a MOAB bomb on his head to get some work done from Paul Ryan (something is just not right with that boy). Obama Dimocrats too need a MOAB to drop on their heads and President Trump just might do that:

Nearly three weeks after Republican infighting sank an overhaul of the Affordable Care Act, President Donald Trump dug back into the battle on Wednesday, threatening to withhold payments to insurers to force Democrats to the negotiating table.

In an interview in the Oval Office, Mr. Trump said the White House may lack authority to make the payments established under his predecessor to reduce copayments and deductibles for some of the poorest customers who buy insurance under the 2010 Affordable Care Act. Cutting off the payments could trigger turmoil in insurance markets.

“I don’t want people to get hurt,” Mr. Trump said. “What I think should happen—and will happen—is the Democrats will start calling me and negotiating.”…

We’ve written about that before so we won’t beat a dead horse today. But something is not right with that Paul Ryan boy and the Obama Dimocrats need a house to fall on their heads. It might not be a house that falls on their heads. It might be a political MOAB.

As President Trump exercises his muscles across the sea, his domestic muscles grow that much stronger. MOAB is coming.

Bombs away!

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!!!

Everyday is Trump Christmas. The gifts just keep on coming.

Today we get a train transfer on ObamaCare, the question of “what is more important – an illegal immigrant or women” answered, and potentially even more information to prove President Trump correct in his battle with the “deep state”.

* * * * * *

Let’s start with women. In 2008 we saw the left favors black men over women during the presidential election. Fat ol’ Oprah the crackhead in 2007/2008 went with skin color over the audience that made her. The left in unison went with the black guy too over the woman candidate. In 2017, we can see that illegal immigrants too are more important than women to the left.

Remember that Rockville rape we wrote about? A 14 year old girl was raped anally, orally and vaginally. Last night on Tucker Carlson the experienced lawyer for the men who raped her claimed she wanted it. You can’t rape the willing said the leftist lawyer:

Bitch wanted to get fu*ked says the lawyer and we will smear her as much as we can. So much for the “To every survivor of sexual assault … You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed. We’re with you” mantra Hillary Clinton used to declare. We have not heard from Hillary Clinton on this issue. The womens’ rights activist remains silent. Why? Well, illegal immigrant male rapists are more important to the left than women. Go to hell bitches!

14 year old bitch ain’t alone. A two year old toddler was also assaulted by a man in New York. You won’t know it from the Newsday report because it’s buried, but yeah, illegal alien. Big Media won’t report he’s illegal. You have to search to find that he was deported four times already. He’s also a gang member. The two year old? She’s the daughter of his “girlfriend”. Illegal alien also stabbed his “girlfriend” and another woman. One in the face. He was sleeping peacefully when gently arrested. Illegal woman stabber and toddler rapist will soon have a great lawyer from the left. Yeah, we’re waiting for Hillary Clinton to comment on this too.

Guess Donald J. Trump was right on the illegal immigration issue. And, on this issue President Trump is on the job and soon these problems will be a thing of the past. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

* * * * * *

Today is also the day when President Trump will have additional ammunition via Representative Nunes for his astonishing claims of Obama skullduggery and snooping. President Trump, as we wrote previously, has already been vindicated. We also wrote that “the scandal is the ‘unmasking’“. Vindication! – On all fronts in this story, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

Potential ‘smoking gun’ showing Obama administration spied on Trump team, source says

Republican congressional investigators expect a potential “smoking gun” establishing that the Obama administration spied on the Trump transition team, and possibly the president-elect himself, will be produced to the House Intelligence Committee this week, a source told Fox News.

Classified intelligence showing incidental collection of Trump team communications, purportedly seen by committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and described by him in vague terms at a bombshell Wednesday afternoon news conference, came from multiple sources, Capitol Hill sources told Fox News. The intelligence corroborated information about surveillance of the Trump team that was known to Nunes, sources said, even before President Trump accused his predecessor of having wiretapped him in a series of now-infamous tweets posted on March 4.

The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the Obama administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources.

Lots more at the link. Lots more today from Nunes. The F.B.I. is not cooperating with the investigation. F.B.I. Director Comey has been summoned for more testimony before the Intelligence Committee. Nunes is on the job. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah.

Then there is ObamaCare. Less glory, less glory, but a hearty Hallelujah! This was our analysis about the fight to repeal ObamaCare:

It’s two trains running. Two trains running along two separate tracks and President Trump ready, willing, and able, to jump from Von Ryan’s Express to the TrumpTrain. President Trump is on Von Ryan’s Express on the healthcare debate for now, but it is very easy to see that President Trump has a very good grasp on the truth in this healthcare debate and might soon jump to the TrumpTrain.

Well, President Trump is about to jump from Paul von Ryan Express to nowhere and onto the fast moving Trump train to victory.

Yesterday, President Trump realized games were being played and he decided to play “schlong the swamp”. President Trump declared he wanted a vote TODAY and if it is no, then he will move on. What we suggested should happen, will happen if the Phase I vote fumbles today:

If we are wrong and Phase I does fail or looks like it is about to fail, President Trump can implement Phase II and thereby force a revisit of Phase I by one and all – Democrats responsible for ObamaCare and the current mess as well as Republicans. President Trump can basically gut ObamaCare like a fish via Secretary Price.

President Trump can basically agree to the federal court ruling and stop immediately the cost sharing program and thereby destroy ObamaCare with the excuse that he is obeying a federal court order. End of the world ensues for Obama Dimocrats.

To quote from the band that wrote/sang “You can’t always get what you want” this is an instance of “Let It Bleed”. In “Enders Game” we quoted from a CNN article about the next “let it bleed” step:

In an Oval Office meeting featuring leaders of conservative groups that already lining up against House Republicans’ plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, President Donald Trump revealed his plan in the event the GOP effort doesn’t succeed: Allow Obamacare to fail and let Democrats take the blame, sources at the gathering told CNN.

If by some miracle the Phase I bill passes today, well, it will be a miracle entirely due to President Trump’s efforts and nobody else.

In Enders Game we pinpointed one of the big problems of the current ObamaCare repeal and replace bill: Paul Ryan. As we wrote, Something is just not right with that boy.

President Trump apparently knows (according to the New York Times, so grain of salt warning) “something is just not right with that boy“:

Mr. Trump has told four people close to him that he regrets going along with Speaker Paul D. Ryan’s plan to push a health care overhaul before unveiling a tax cut proposal more politically palatable to Republicans.

He said ruefully this week that he should have done tax reform first when it became clear that the quick-hit health care victory he had hoped for was not going to materialize on Thursday, the seventh anniversary of the act’s passage, when the legislation was scheduled for a vote.

Two of his most influential advisers — Stephen K. Bannon, his chief strategist, and Gary D. Cohn, the National Economic Council director, who had a major role in pushing the bill — came to agree, and did not like the compromise that was emerging. So on Thursday night, Mr. Trump delivered an ultimatum.

He dispatched his budget adviser, Mick Mulvaney, to a conference of House Republicans and told them they had to vote on Friday. And if the bill fails, he said, Mr. Trump will move on.

Bryon York had warned earlier on about Paul Ryan:

Now, however, in the middle of his first 100 days in office, Trump has gotten bogged down in a complex, time-consuming, and unpopular fight over another issue — repealing and replacing Obamacare — that, while a key Republican priority and a Trump campaign promise, is not at the very top of the public’s concerns.

New to Washington and with no experience in public office, Trump has become a prisoner to the House Republican leadership — or more precisely, to the complicated procedural requirements of the House and Senate, and the judgment of the GOP leadership that must operate within those boundaries.

All across the capital, politicos are arguing about what House Republicans should do next in the Obamacare fight. Can they prevail in the Budget Committee? How much damage has the CBO report done? Can the Freedom Caucus be brought aboard? What about the moderates? And reconciliation? The three-step process?

It has become mind-numbingly complicated. And perhaps the answer to all those questions is one simple sentence: Republicans are working on the wrong thing. And the Republican president is allowing himself to be distracted from delivering early and often on his core campaign promise of improving the economy and bringing jobs to millions of Americans.

Glory, Glory, Hallelujah! Now President Trump understands the above and has unshackled himself. President Trump has jumped from the Paul Von Ryan Express and onto the Trump train!

It’s over for Ryan, really:

In public, President Donald Trump is standing by House Speaker Paul Ryan over the Obamacare replacement bill.

Behind the scenes, the president’s aides are planning to blame Ryan if there is an embarrassing defeat on a bill that has been a Republican goal for more than seven years, a senior administration official said. [snip]

Ryan is coming to the White House to brief Trump on the bill’s status, three Republican officials said. Several House Republicans including the chairman of the Appropriations Committee announced in the morning that they would vote against the measure, making its prospects grim. [snip]

I think Paul Ryan did a major disservice to President Trump, I think the president was extremely courageous in taking on health care and trusted others to come through with a program he could sign off on,” Chris Ruddy, chief executive officer of Newsmax and a long-time friend of Trump’s, said in an interview last week. “The President had confidence Paul Ryan would come up with a good plan and to me, it is disappointing.”

A Trump associate who requested anonymity to discuss the president’s views on the matter said that White House chief of staff Reince Priebus may also be imperiled.

Trump’s core supporters regarded Ryan as at best unimportant during the presidential campaign and at worst a poster child for the sort of establishment, scripted politician they loathed.

As we’ve written previously, anything is better than ObamaCare. ObamaCare must be repealed. Replaced? Eh.

Today’s real failure or potential failure (we’ll know soon) will not be good news on the face of it. It will be a GOP failure and all President Trump will be able to claim is that, as we discussed, “he is making a good faith effort to pass the current bill“. Done, done, and done.

But, as we discussed, ObamaCare will be repealed one way or the other. As of today, it will be the “let it bleed” way.

So why are we “happy”? Because we like clarity. We like it that everyone sees which Republicans really meant their earlier votes to repeal ObamaCare. We like it that everyone saw how hard President Trump worked to get the ObamaCare repeal passed.

We also want the swamp drained. We want Paul Ryan gone. We want as Mike Mulvaney said, health care, not costly useless health insurance.

After today, one way or the other ObamaCare will be repealed – along with Paul Ryan – and President Trump can govern as the outsider he is.

Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

Enders Game: #POTUS @RealDonaldTrump’s ObamaCare Repeal Trump Card

Update: Trump in Tennessee Tonight:

Presumably, among the topics will be ObamaCare repeal and replace. President Trump might also have a few choice words for the Obama appointed federal clown in Hawaii who issued a Temporary Restraining Order on the latest executive order travel ban. The order is bad enough but the reasoning based on the Establishment Clause is entirely ridiculous. Note: before the TRO expires there might just be a new Supreme Court Justice because Neil Gorsuch gets a hearing in the Senate on Monday and maybe just maybe he will get a vote soon.

President Trump has been Trumpnado-ing through today. President Trump in Michigan spoke to automobile company workers, unions, and management. President Trump promised to unshackle the automobile industry in this country and restore it to glory. “Buy American and Hire American” said POTUS with Mostest.

POTUS Mostest Trumpest will also be on Tucker Carlson’s show tonight after an early morning of Tweeting about Rachel Maddow’s disaster Tuesday night on TrumpTaxes. Is it 2018 already?

—————————————————————————

It’s two trains running. Two trains running along two separate tracks and President Trump ready, willing, and able, to jump from Von Ryan’s Express to the TrumpTrain. President Trump is on Von Ryan’s Express on the healthcare debate for now, but it is very easy to see that President Trump has a very good grasp on the truth in this healthcare debate and might soon jump to the TrumpTrain.

Von Ryan’s Express, TrumpTrain??? There are three must understand truths about the current healthcare debate to be put into the context of everlasting truths of politics (everlasting truth such as that the prime directive for senators and congress-critters is to be re-elected).

Healthcare debate truth #1: ObamaCare is so bad it must and will be repealed and what will replace it will be much better than ObamaCare.

Healthcare debate truth #2: The current GOP public plan to replace ObamaCare is stupid and not very bright on policy and electoral grounds but the likelihood it will pass is very great because President Trump knows how to sell and for senators and House members the next election is always around the corner.

Healthcare debate truth #3: Trust President Trump on ObamaCare repeal and replace because this guy is very smart, knows what he is doing, and wants to truly repeal ObamaCare and replace it with something that provides healthcare, not merely inaccessible health insurance.

* * * * * *

Don’t trust President Trump for the reason that you are a cult member of a fan club that will excuse anything he does and will defend anything he does. Trust President Trump because he is smart, has a game plan to Make America Great Again, and will repeal/replace ObamaCare. Flim-flam con man Barack Obama was a two trains type guy too. But for Obama the two trains he hopped on were personal advancement gravy trains. Those always lead to a train wreak.

So what the Hell is President Trump up to?

On Wednesday, President Trump begins his sell pitch at a big rally. Another rally is scheduled and more are likely to come. President Trump will take to the road to sell something that is not particularly good. Yes, it is better than the ObamaCare America is oppressed by. But um, is it great? Um, no.

So what the Hell is President Trump up to?

What is President Trump up to? Well, President Trump on Von Ryan’s Express has to demonstrate he is making a good faith effort to pass the current bill the House leadership under Paul Ryan has written before Trump moves to change it. That bill is a mess on several levels but President Trump has to make a good faith effort to pass it so that he can say “I tried to pass this” just before he jumps to the TrumpTrain.

President Trump knows the mess that is the health insurance plan on Von Ryan’s Express. President Trump knows it is a mess because he is listening to the critics of the plan – critics who supported him during his election bid. Still President Trump, like a good businessman, is going forward with the Ryan express package to see how it plays out. It’s an opening bid.

Recall, how the Von Ryan Express Train tracks. It is a three phase plan. Phase I is to pass the current health insurance bill via the “Reconciliation” process. Using “reconciliation” to overcome the artificial 60 vote majority necessary to pass a bill through the Senate means that supposedly only matters of a strict budgetary nature get to be in the bill.

Phase II, is one we will discuss later.

Phase III, is the mirage that at some point the Obama Dimocrats will agree to provide the 60 vote majority necessary to pass all the really good stuff in health care reform, such as tort reform and the ability for Americans to buy insurance across state lines thereby bringing competition into the reform process.

* * * * * *

Before we return to “what the Hell is President Trump up to?” let’s deal in this section of our analysis with the dull policy stuff. Hey, it’s only life and death, not the fun stuff we like in politics. But the policy stuff does matter. If you get bored with policy, just skip this section.

What’s the problem with the Von Ryan Express plan? First and foremost, the author. Paul Ryan. Let’s all agree that Paul Ryan is a male Nancy Pelousy. That’s unfair. Paul Ryan is smart and Paul Ryan is kinda cute unlike Nancy Pelousy. But like Nancy Pelousy, Paul Ryan could not sell lemonade in August heat, shovels in winter pre-snow storm, nor life insurance on board the Titanic in it’s last hours. Indeed the more Paul Ryan talks, the more likely the Paul Ryan train goes off the tracks.

Earlier this week the Congressional Budget Office issued it’s assessment of Ryan’s health insurance scheme. Ryan began to appear on television to laud the CBO report as wonderful. Everyone else in the administration spoke with a degree of intelligence and essentially blasted the CBO report. Paul Ryan? Well, something’s not right with that boy.

Compare and contrast Paul Ryan and Newt Gingrich’s response to the CBO report:

If that’s an example of Paul Ryan “excited” we feel sorry for his wife. Paul Ryan, blue eyes aside, simply is at a par with Nancy Pelousy when it comes to believability. We don’t doubt he knows what he is talking about, but his interest appears to be to demonstrate he knows what he is talking about instead of convincing the public that he is telling the truth. Something is just not right with that boy, the way he talks and talks a little too fast and slippery.

Bottom line is that best message came from Newt. Even Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney made a better pitch than Ryan on the hostile Morning Joe show:

Mulvaney is right: Care is what matters, not coverage. It’s a critique we made of ObamaCare since 2009. ObamaCare fed the health insurance companies money forced from Americans via the coercive force of government but the insurance deductibles were so high many Americans could not access the insurance they paid dearly for.

Avik Roy, of Forbes Magazine, frequently agreed with points we made about ObamaCare. Avik Roy makes the case much better than Paul Ryan for why the CBO report is kinda useless and sorta good news:

Believe It Or Not, CBO’s Score Of House GOP Obamacare Replacement Is Better Than Expected

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office has estimated that 24 million fewer people will have health insurance by 2026 under the House GOP plan to replace Obamacare. That projection is unsurprising, and quite likely overstated. But what is surprising about the CBO report is the ways in which it makes the GOP bill look better than expected, and how it points to how the bill can be improved. [snip]

The first thing to know about the CBO is that it has long had problems modeling how a competitive, individual insurance market would work. This is reflected in their frequently revised estimates as to how many people would enroll in Obamacare’s insurance exchanges.

As the below chart shows, in 2010, when the Affordable Care Act was passed, CBO estimated that 21 million people would enroll in the ACA exchanges in 2016. The actual number was closer to 10 million. Even now, CBO believes that 18 to 19 million people will soon be enrolled in the exchanges, when in fact enrollment is degrading under current law, and will likely end up stabilizing at about 10 to 11 million. [snip]

This chart is relevant to our discussion of the GOP plan in two ways. First, it shows that the CBO is far from infallible; indeed, its projections of ACA exchange enrollment have been wildly off.

Second, as CBO notes in the first paragraph of its report on the AHCA, “CBO used its March 2016 baseline with adjustments for subsequently enacted legislation, which underlies the resolution, as the benchmark to measure the cost of the legislation.” That baseline is off by 7 to 8 million in future exchange enrollment; hence, the impact of the AHCA is also off by the same amount.

An even bigger problem is that the CBO has long believed that Obamacare’s individual mandate has near-magical powers to compel people to buy health insurance. There is little evidence to support this claim.

The Ryan plan, AHCA, gets mathed by Avik Roy. Roy checks out the numbers. Roy understands the CBO is a mess that does not know its ass from its mouth. The CBO has made 24 million people mistakes before. Roy has numbers upon numbers to make his case. Roy declares the CBO estimates on who loses coverage might be off by 19 million people.

Avik Roy has many prescriptions for what ails Paul Ryan’s plan. A lot of those prescriptions are tinkering with a Rube Goldberg contraption, but unfortunately America’s health care system, or rather health insurance system is a Rube Goldberg contraption.

On the fiscal front, Avik Roy has some flowers for Paul Ryan:

The bill’s arbitrary 30 percent surcharge for those who buy coverage outside of open enrollment might actually make the risk pool less stable, and ought to be replaced by a much more flexible regulatory regime.

And we haven’t even gotten to the AHCA’s profound fiscal effects. The bill would cut taxes by $1.2 trillion, and spending by $880 billion, for a net deficit reduction of $337 billion. And that’s before you take into account the macroeconomic effects that those tax cuts would have on economic growth, and thereby on greater tax revenues.

Over ensuing decades, the fiscal impact would be even greater, because the bill entails the most significant effort at entitlement reform in American history. Incoherent GOP hard-liners like Rand Paul, who claim that the AHCA is a “new entitlement,” are displaying their unseriousness about a bill that reduces federal spending by more than $2 trillion over the next 20 years.

With all this wonderfulness, why so much upset? Here’s InsureBlog:

Republicans’ latest attempt to change Obamacare is nothing more than misdirection. It replaces “subsidies” with “tax credits”, continues Medicaid expansion until an election year (when nothing gets done), and keeps the most costly items such as guaranteed issue, community rating, and no pre-existing conditions exclusion in place.

It eliminates the individual mandate and creates a new continuous coverage rule allowing insurers to charge 30% higher premiums for up to 12 months to those who have a break in insurance coverage greater than 63 days. The new rule, like the mandate tax, has no teeth.

Speaking of taxes, it eliminates almost $600 million over ten years – which is a good thing. Except for the fact that over half of that amount does nothing to reduce or influence costs of health care or health insurance. More than half ($275 million) is going back to high income earners who are currently paying more in taxes for Medicare and investment income. We should also note these two taxes aren’t indexed so as incomes rise more of us would pay these over time.

For Medicaid, it would roll back the enhanced matching rate for the expansion population. This has serious implications for states who fell hook, line, and sinker for the bait of government funding that they knew wasn’t financially sustainable. [snip]

We should have known this was going to be a poo-poo platter. Anything short of full repeal – which takes 60 senators to accomplish – is nothing more than lip service.

Yikes! That’s a scorcher. They’re not alone. Here’s Senator Tom Cotton interviewed by Hugh Hewitt:

HH: So what can be done? I’ve talked to the Speaker, I’ve got to the Leader. I’ve talked to Cathy McMorris Rodgers is on today, Mick Mulvaney, Tom Price. They all say it’s a three-step dance because of the Senate reconciliation rule. So you know those rules. Working within the rules, how can the Senate improve its bill, or how can the House send to the Senate a bill that fits within the guardrails of reconciliation and allows for 51 votes that improves the individual market?

TC: Hugh, there is no three-phase process. There is no three-step plan. That is just political talk. It’s just politicians engaging in spin. This is why. Step one is a bill that can pass with 51 votes in the Senate. That’s what we’re working on right now. Step two, as yet unwritten regulations by Tom Price, which is going to be subject to court challenge, and therefore, perhaps the whims of the most liberal judge in America. But step three, some mythical legislation in the future that is going to garner Democratic support and help us get over 60 votes in the Senate. If we had those Democratic votes, we wouldn’t need three steps. We would just be doing that right now on this legislation altogether. That’s why it’s so important that we get this legislation right, because there is no step three. And step two is not completely under our control.

And there’s the rub. Are there three steps? Is there only a two-step? Is there only one step?

So, what the Hell is President Trump up to? Is President Trump doing a three step waltz, a lively little country two-step, or the singular Trump stomp? Got a dance card?

President Trump has more than a dance card. President Trump has a Trump card, or two.

Trump hating CNN knows President Trump has a Trump card:

In an Oval Office meeting featuring leaders of conservative groups that already lining up against House Republicans’ plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, President Donald Trump revealed his plan in the event the GOP effort doesn’t succeed: Allow Obamacare to fail and let Democrats take the blame, sources at the gathering told CNN.

In his meetings with conservative leaders President Trump has repeatedly declared that he is open to negotiations. The Medicaid funding provision until 2020? That might be hauled to 2018. The “tax credits” for lower income people some see as subsidies? That might be a tougher negotiation because former Freedom Caucus member Mike Mulvaney wants that to stay.

Mike Mulvaney now works for President Trump but he has lots of credibility with his former Freedom Caucus members, who are the fiercest critics of the Ryan plan. But any negotiations with “conservatives” might lead to trouble with “moderates”:

In addition to Medicaid changes, some White House officials are also pushing for the inclusion of provisions making it easier to buy health care across state lines. Senate budget rules, however, bar the upper chamber from including on a fast-tracked bill any provisions that don’t have a significant budgetary effect.

Rep. Dave Brat on Monday told POLITICO conservatives were asking the White House to back these kinds of free-market provisions. The Virginia Republican said the Freedom Caucus is also encouraging Trump officials to press for provisions that would enact into law any deregulations Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price plans to make administratively for the insurance market.

“Trump ran on this competition across state lines, bringing the price down, and so, that is the huge piece that, I think, if we can get that in the bill, then I think we can make some progress and I think get a lot of people to yes,” Brat said.

So while GOP leaders, including Speaker Paul Ryan, adamantly support the idea of allowing people to purchase insurance across state lines, they don’t think it can be included on the replacement bill under Senate rules. [snip]

The manager’s amendments are likely to bring additional savings, according to the White House officials, and would help the plan get through the House, where the Freedom Caucus has lined up opposition against the plan. But it would likely make passage in the Senate more difficult, several Capitol Hill officials said. That’s because many Senate Republicans — and more than a few House GOP lawmakers — hail from states that took the Medicaid expansion, and they’re unlikely to support a quick phase-out of the expanded program. [snip]

Leadership sources, however, have not ruled out changes to the bill altogether, and many senior House GOP sources believe there might be a manager’s amendment. But they have to ensure the changes will get several conservatives to “yes” if it’s actually made, while maintaining moderate Republican support. They can only afford to lose 21 Republican votes.

Oy vey! What a mess. Game over! Nothing can save this. It’s over for Trump, again. Well, there are some Trump cards still left to be played.

Remember “Phase II”? Phase I is the reconciliation process to pass the turd. Phase III is the delusion of goodies at the end of the road. But we never discussed Phase II. Phase II is the Trump card no matter what happens in Phase I. With Phase II, President Trump can force reality onto everybody as the 2018 elections draw close, ever closer every day. Phase II is the Trump card:

How Trump can use Obamacare to kill Obamacare
The same executive authority the Obama administration used to implement the law may now be used to dismantle it. [snip]

“For me, it’s a mix of irony and schadenfreude,” says Josh Blackman, a law professor who’s written two books that criticized the Obama administration’s implementation of the law. “I’ve warned for years that, with a new president in the White House, the exact same powers could be used for different purposes. That’s what we’re seeing now, to a T.

Trump’s order, which encourages Health and Human Services, the IRS and other agencies to work toward dismantling the ACA, doesn’t confer any new powers on the executive branch. But Trump explicitly instructs his agencies to use their existing powers to weaken the law “to the maximum extent permitted by law,” regardless of congressional action to repeal it.

That could be devastating to Obamacare because the Obama administration relied on its executive authority to set up the law.

Its implementation depended critically — and depends critically — on rules and guidance that HHS and other agencies have put out,” says Nicholas Bagley, a University of Michigan law professor who supports the ACA. “There are literally thousands of decisions that had to be made” by the administration — and “any decision that the Obama administration had the discretion to make, in principle, the Trump administration can revisit.”

A big, complex law always requires a lot of the details to be filled in through regulation, but that was particularly true of Obamacare. [snip]

Many of the law’s most controversial elements, like which Americans would be exempt from the mandate requiring most Americans to purchase insurance coverage, were administration decisions. Obama’s HHS secretary was also empowered to flesh out the important details about the benefits that Obamacare insurance plans were required to cover, from mental health to maternity care. Even Healthcare.gov — the much-maligned website that turned into the linchpin of Obamacare enrollment efforts — was built out through executive authority.

The vast, and at times, legally questionable decisions undertaken by the Obama administration may also set precedent for the Trump administration to do the exact same thing. Both Blackman and Bagley agree the administration’s 2013 decision to delay Obamacare’s employer mandate was unlawful; House Republicans even sued, although their challenge was thrown out in court. Trump could now cite that delay as precedent for declining to enforce provisions that he dislikes.

The Trump administration could also issue a slew of waivers to exempt Americans from the ACA’s individual mandate — although the Obama administration already broadened those exemptions in 2013, after the political outcry from Americans whose plans were canceled because they didn’t meet Obamacare criteria.

The “‘like it, keep it’ fiasco” set a precedent for Trump too, says Bagley.

At the time, the administration said it would give hardship waivers to Americans who had difficulties paying for coverage under the ACA. But “if you define the hardship as that, then every American is facing higher premiums because of the ACA, one way or another,” says Blackman. “Obamacare is itself the hardship.”

House Republicans also sued and won an initial ruling over the Obama administration’s payments to subsidize health care costs such as co-pays and deductibles for Obamacare enrollees under a certain income level. A federal court agreed the funds were illegally appropriated; the Obama administration appealed that decision. But Trump could discontinue the appeal, and hold that over Democrats in negotiations to replace the law: If he chooses to discontinue those payments, health insurers — which would be on the hook for those payments even if the government funding dried up — would probably flee the markets or jack up prices next year. Millions of ACA customers would likely see their premiums spike and their plans become unaffordable.

“If Trump were to stop the cost-sharing payments, he could send the individual insurance markets into an immediate tailspin,” says Bagley. “It would be an extraordinary hit.”

So what do we think happens? What are the Trump cards?

We believe that Phase I, amended by a managers amendment that will improve the bill, will pass the House and Senate because failure to do so would threaten the reelection of too many Republicans (and Dims in red states too). So the Republican opposition to Phase I in both the House and Senate will fail and Phase I of repeal/replace will happen.

There is another Trump card to play: blow up the filibuster and pass whatever you want with 51 votes in the Senate. Better to blow up the soon to be destroyed filibuster in year one of Trump than year 4 or 8. The sooner the better.

But if you want to keep your filibuster you can keep your filibuster – although there is another Trump card to play:

“Under the Budget Act of 1974, which is what governs reconciliation, it is the presiding officer, the vice president of the United States, who rules on what’s permissible on reconciliation and what is not. [snip]

Cruz said this process would allow Republicans to include a number of provisions that would make the health care reform bill much more attractive to conservatives.

For example, Cruz notes that Republicans could “repeal all of the insurance regulations in Obamacare that have increased premiums,” in particular one that decreased competition by preventing insurers from selling across state lines.

Any more Trump cards? Well, under immigration reform President Trump could invite doctors and medical professionals from around the world to come to America and bring down costs. You know that ol’ law of supply and demand.

As Rahm Emanuel said to Barack Obama “never let a good crisis go to waste.”

President Trump has a lot of Trump cards to play.

Trump Month 2: “You’re Fired!” Begins

President Trump month 1 was about territory capture. On Trump month 2, in the captured territories, comes the orgy of the Guillotine!

It’s now time to say “you’re fired!”

President Trump has lived his life in the front pages so President Trump understands that Big Media is the enemy of the people. That’s a lesson many of his staff people did not understand fully until the past weeks. We suspect that the delusions are off now for these staffers. Staffers that don’t understand that, or those that want to bad mouth President Trump to Big Media for their own personal advancement, have to be removed.

President Trump as a business man also understands that in business mergers or company takeovers, some staff want to continue infighting instead of accepting the new business structure. President Trump understands that when employees in a business seek to undermine the business they have to be removed. President Trump’s cabinet appointments understand this as well because so many of them come from the world of business.

President Trump also understands that Barack Obama Dimocrats infest the federal bureaucracy and seek to undermine the new administration. These infestations need to be fumigated. As many culprits as possible need to have their heads separated from their shoulders. It’s time to bring out the Guillotine.

How desperately in need of “you’re fired” is the federal government? Look at the Internal Revenue Service:

It’s Nearly Impossible To Get Fired At The IRS For Tax Evasion

More than 99 percent of the thousands of IRS employees investigated for violating federal tax laws in the last five years avoided termination and continued enforcing other Americans’ tax collections, according to an analysis by The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group.

The IRS fired only 74 of 9,176 workers investigated for tax noncompliance from October 2011 to September 2016. Another 280 were allowed to retire or resign as a result of those misconduct investigations, according to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) Inspector General (IG).

Noncompliance cases — which may involve underreporting income, underpaying taxes or failing to file returns — most commonly resulted in some form of verbal or written reprimand or counseling, according to the 10 semi-annual IG reports analyzed. The IRS employed about 85,000 people at 500 offices across the country in 2016.

That IRS corruption is no surprise because Barack Obama appointed a tax cheat, Tim Geithner, to run the Treasury Department which numbers the IRS as one of its fiefdoms. The lack of prosecution of the corrupt IRS director John Koskinen is another clue. It’s time to fire Koskinen.

The firings required to remove the Obama left-overs will be many. Fortunately President Trump is on the job. There is lots of “you’re fired!” good news.

The Guillotine is wheeled out and ready to slice. The Guillotine has already been tested and tasted blood:

The White House abruptly dismissed a senior National Security Council aide on Friday after receiving reports that he had publicly laced into the president and his senior aides, including son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump, at an event hosted by a Washington think tank.

The aide, Craig Deare, was serving as the NSC’s senior director for Western Hemisphere Affairs. Earlier in the week, at a private, off-the-record roundtable hosted by the Woodrow Wilson Center for a group of about two dozen scholars, Deare harshly criticized the president and his chief strategist Steve Bannon and railed against the dysfunction paralyzing the Trump White House, according to a source familiar with the situation.

This scumbag, of course working for the NSC which is at war with President Trump leaked a “detailed and embarrassing readout of Trump’s call with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto.” He had to go. President Trump removed this security threat.

There’s lots of good news on the Guillotine front. We’ll leave the best for last. But there is a lot of good news on the Guillotine front:

The White House budget office has drafted a hit list of programs that President Trump could eliminate to trim domestic spending, including longstanding conservative targets like the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Legal Services Corporation, AmeriCorps and the National Endowments for the Arts and the Humanities.

Work on the first Trump administration budget has been delayed as the budget office awaited Senate confirmation of former Representative Mick Mulvaney, a spending hard-liner, as budget director. Now that he is in place, his office is ready to move ahead with a list of nine programs to eliminate, an opening salvo in the Trump administration’s effort to reorder the government and increase spending on defense and infrastructure. [snip]

The Office of Management and Budget is currently operating with a skeleton staff; Mr. Mulvaney was only confirmed on Thursday. Still, officials there plan to ask agencies targeted for elimination for their responses by next Friday and to finalize the list by March 13, according to a person familiar with the process.

Obama Dimocrats will demand money for wasteful programs that are no longer needed other than to continue to pay salaries to their cronies. But it is time to Guillotine waste, fraud, abuse, and the federal workforce that preys on the taxpayer. It’s long past time for Big Bird to leave the government cage and work in the marketplace. If Big Bird cannot feed itself fat with the hundreds of millions (billions?) made at Sesame Street, then let’s roast that fowl and have a big bird Thanksgiving.

The Guillotine does not have to wait until Thanksgiving in November to feast. The Guillotine has begun to drink at the State Department:

While Rex Tillerson is on his first overseas trip as Secretary of State, his aides laid off staff at the State Department on Thursday.

Much of seventh-floor staff, who work for the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources and the Counselor offices, were told today that their services were no longer needed. [snip]

Two sources also told CBS News that Ambassador Kristie Kenney, the Counselor of the State Department and one of the last remaining senior officials, was informed that she will be let go. She is a career foreign service officer who had served as an ambassador under Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton. Her staff was told that Secretary Tillerson does not intend to fill the counselor’s position anytime soon.[snip]

“It is irresponsible to let qualified, nonpartisan, experienced people go before you have any idea of their replacement. You can’t do foreign policy by sitting in the White House, just out of your back pocket,” explains Tom Countryman, Former Assistant Secetary for Non-Proliferation who was let go earlier this month. [snip]

This may be what President Trump was referring to when he repeatedly said that “our people” are not yet in place at U.S. government agencies. He blamed the leaks of embarrassing White House transcripts of his phone calls with foreign leaders – including difficult conversations he had with Mexico and Australia – on officials who had previously worked for the Obama Administration.

Drain that freakin’ swamp! There is no more of a swamp than at foggy bottom, a.k.a. the State Department.

Drain that freakin’ swamp on the seventh floor of the State Department, T-Rex. Drain that freakin’ swamp:

The State Department’s ‘shadow government’

News that a top State Department official discussed a “quid pro quo” in exchange for the FBI changing the classification of a Hillary Clinton email is shocking enough. But word that the coterie of State officials who controlled the release of the emails called itself “The Shadow Government” is mind-blowing.

The latest FBI dump of documents from the investigation into Clinton’s email follies includes a summary of one agent’s talks with Undersecretary Patrick Kennedy — who, the agent said, “pressured” him to “change the classified email to unclassified.”

Kennedy “asked his assistance in altering the email’s classification in exchange for a ‘quid pro quo,’ ” the summary says. “In exchange for marking the email unclassified, State would reciprocate by allowing the FBI to place more agents in countries where they were presently forbidden.” [snip]

The FBI also released the summary of an interview that revealed a cabal at State that oversaw the email release — a “powerful group of very high-ranking STATE officials that some referred to as ‘The 7th Floor Group’ or as ‘The Shadow Government.’

The 7th Floor Group, the Shadow Government swamp is being drained. The Guillotine is lapping up blood and remains thirsty. Candidate Donald J. Trump’s “drain the swamp” promise is underway and will be fulfilled.

Why was T-Rex Tillerson so necessary for the job of Secretary of State? Secretary Tillerson ran the massive Exxon-Mobil corporation so he knows how to run a massive operation like the State Department. You need a T-Rex to drain the swamp. That is what Secretary Tillerson is doing and why he is under attack from within the State Department:

One of Rex Tillerson’s first directives as U.S. secretary of state was an order to senior staff that his briefing materials not exceed two pages.

It was a reflection of Tillerson’s management style honed at the helm of Exxon Mobil, an oil company known for its relentless focus on efficiency, and one reason his closest aides at the State Department refer to him as “the CEO” rather than “the Secretary.” [snip]

His aide R.C. Hammond said the directive reflected Tillerson’s focus on key facts rather than lack of interest in finer points of foreign policy.

He is asking people to be efficient with their information,” Hammond said, adding that if Tillerson needed more information he would ask for it. “He is a decision-maker and he needs the facts in front of him.” [snip]

Senior State Department officials who have attended meetings with Tillerson say they find him sociable and a man of substance, whose direct manner and probing questions reflect his training as an engineer seeking to solve problems rather than play politics. [snip]

Just two State Department positions of 116 key posts requiring executive branch nomination have been filled, according to the nonpartisan Partnership for Public Service – Tillerson’s and that of U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. [snip]

“People want to back him,” one veteran senior official said about the former Exxon Mobil boss. “But people are feeling that this building is being stripped,” said the official, referring to a sense that with so many top positions vacant, the State Department is not fully equipped to help make policy in the new administration.

There is also unease over possible deep staff cuts and the future of some departments. Two people said employees in the Bureau of Management and Resources were told to apply for other positions within the State Department. Hammond, Tillerson’s aide said no decision had been taken to close that division.

The swamp is being drained, not merely stripped. It must be understood that the swamp monsters will fight back to protect their swamp. Thus far the “intelligence” bureaucrats and the NSC swamp monsters have leaked and leaked to destroy President Trump. Many across the political spectrum have spoken out against the “coup” led by these swamp monsters. Even some die hard leftists, such as former Congressman Dennis Kucinich, see the danger of the swamp monsters, the 7th Floor, the Shadow Government:

WE CAN’T LET INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES UNDERMINE AMERICAN DEMOCRACY [snip]

Now, some unnamed, rogue, intelligence officials, allegedly fearing leaks, are reportedly withholding secret information from the new president, while their own unsubstantiated leaks promote a narrative that Russia hacked the U.S. election, colluding with Trump aides. [snip]

Intelligence agencies play politics. Given the separation of powers doctrine, they have no legal right to monitor Congressional phone calls, and are to discontinue the monitoring if it accidentally occurs.

Our nation is endangered by never-ending attempts to engineer coups abroad. We also face dangers from within by unquestioned acceptance of stories peddled by some past or present anonymous, “official” US sources. [snip]

I well understand the disappointment of Democrats over the election. But we must not let our disappointment cause us to align with those who would imperil our country by either stirring passions for war or using covert, unconstitutional means to oust a President.

The consequences of the behind-the-scenes machinations of anonymous intelligence officials goes way beyond the personality and policies of one president. This is about our nation. It is about our Constitution and the rule of law.

We are witnessing an attempt by some shadowy intelligence operatives to further divide us, to destabilize America for ideology, money and power. People need to look carefully at every headline and media report to discern the underlying motives, so in our efforts to challenge this administration, we do not fall prey to those who can, with insidious anonymity, destroy our democracy and our freedoms. We must look beyond partisanship.

As we wrote previously, “Such is the state of the Obama Dimocrat Party that even those that once were certifiable kooks now appear rational by comparison.” Kucinich is not alone on the left in warning about the Shadow Government, the 7th Floor, the NSC, the intelligence community coup:

I’m a Democrat (and ex-CIA) but the spies plotting against Trump are out of control [snip]

Said an intelligence officer: “I know what’s best for foreign policy and national security… And I’m going to act on that.

Some of us might applaud this man, including a few of my fellow Democrats. In their minds, this is a case of Mr. Smith Goes to Langley to do battle against a corrupt President Trump.

One small problem. The intelligence officer quoted above was actually Aldrich Ames, a CIA traitor whose crime of treason in the 1980s and 1990s resulted in the compromise of more than 100 assets. Many were tortured and executed as a result.

Ames’ flawed logic is eerily similar to that of his present-day colleagues who are engaged in a shadow war with their commander in chief. They, too, have decided that their superior judgment is more important than following the law. [snip]

For reasons of misguided righteousness or partisan hatred, they’ve taken it upon themselves to be judge, jury, and executioner. They have prosecuted their case in the court of public opinion, with likeminded media outlets such as CNN, The New York Times, and the Washington Post serving as court stenographers.

Elected by no one, responsible only to each other, these spies have determined that Trump is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Days ago, they delivered their verdict. According to one intelligence official, the president “will die in jail.”

I understand how this might feel appealing to deeply partisan Democrats. After all, I didn’t want Trump to win either. [snip] We must instead let the system continue to work, as it has, and make our case to the American people during future elections.

If you’re not convinced, imagine the consequences of letting spies decide not just Trump’s fate but other political winners and losers too. Imagine how they might treat our candidates next. [snip]

This is the slippery slope of political tribalism that, up until a few months ago, I would have thought impossible in America. Certainly it happens in third world nations but not here. I was trained to believe that we were exceptional.

In the culture of America’s spies, you live and die by a set of rules. One of them is a sacred pledge of allegiance to the constitution and commander in chief. Spies may not like a president or their policies but they must salute their leader nonetheless. If they cannot, they are told to resign.

Spies also take a vow of secrecy, specifically to keep classified information hidden from anyone who doesn’t have an authorized need to know. It’s a commitment one keeps for a lifetime. And should that vow be violated, the consequences are dire. Prison time. Colleagues and informants killed. Enemies emboldened. The country less safe.

Spies also accept and embrace a final rule: there must be an unbreakable wall between government workers and the democratic process.

Why?

Because many spies have access to powerful tools that, if used improperly, could cause incredible damage to the nation’s stability. Accordingly, clandestine officers have a special covenant with the American people – codified by the Hatch Act – that limits their participation in politics.

During my time as a CIA officer, I quickly learned why all these rules were in place. I read people’s emails. I listened to phone calls. I recruited assets that told the dirtiest and most embarrassing of secrets. I came to realize that my power was both an awesome responsibility and, at times, wickedly seductive.

Some of us faltered in our commitments. I remember colleagues who believed themselves above the rules, conducting quiet investigations into cheating wives or ex-boyfriends. They were eventually discovered and rightfully thrown out. They had demonstrated an inability to handle the burden of power.

And that is precisely what we are experiencing today. The spies who are plotting against President Trump are breaking U.S. laws. They’re violating their oaths. And they’re committing treason to remedy (perceived) treason.

They likely don’t see it that way, of course. But, then again, neither did Aldrich Ames.

With luck and aggressive investigations, these renegade spies will join their fallen colleague at the Allenwood Correctional Facility for the remainder of their lives.

Drain the swamp. Fill the prisons if necessary with those who violate their oaths and plot against the duly elected government and president of the United States.

It’s not just the State Department that requires a drain of the swamp. There are the corruptions and plots at the EPA that need to feel the slice of the Guillotine:

In a show of defiance, EPA workers fight to stop Pruitt’s confirmation

WASHINGTON — Employees of the Environmental Protection Agency have been calling their senators to urge them to vote on Friday against the confirmation of Scott Pruitt, President Donald Trump’s contentious nominee to run the agency, a remarkable display of activism and defiance that presages turbulent times ahead for the EPA.

Many of the scientists, environmental lawyers and policy experts who work in EPA offices around the country say the calls are a last resort for workers who fear a nominee selected to run an agency he has made a career out of fighting — by a president who has vowed to “get rid of” it.

“Mr. Pruitt’s background speaks for itself, and it comes on top of what the president wants to do to EPA,” said John O’Grady, a biochemist at the agency since the first Bush administration and president of the union representing the EPA’s 15,000 employees nationwide.

Nicole Cantello, an EPA lawyer who heads the union in the Chicago area, said: “It seems like Trump and Pruitt want a complete reversal of what EPA has done. I don’t know if there’s any other agency that’s been so reviled. So it’s in our interests to do this.”

The union has sent emails and posted Facebook and Twitter messages urging members to make the calls.

“It is rare,” said James A. Thurber, the director of the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies at American University. “I can’t think of any other time when people in the bureaucracy have done this.” [snip]

But because Civil Service rules make it difficult to fire federal workers, the show of defiance indicates that Pruitt will face strong internal opposition to many of his promised efforts to curtail EPA activities and influence.

“What it means is that it’s going to be a bloodbath when Pruitt gets in there,” said Christine Todd Whitman, a former Republican governor of New Jersey and the EPA administrator during the first term of President George W. Bush.

Whitman predicted a standoff between career employees and their politically appointed bosses, noting that Pruitt will be blocked by legal Civil Service protections from immediately firing longtime employees but would likely be able to retaliate against them in other ways, such as shifting them to different jobs. The showdown could embolden the White House and Congress to change federal Civil Service laws.

The Civil Service is supposed to be a class of experts implementing policy, regardless of politics,” said Myron Ebell, a fellow at the free-market Competitive Enterprise Institute, who led Trump’s environmental transition team. “If they have now become a special interest group pleading their own agenda, then it is probably time to look at reforming the Civil Service laws.” [snip]

Within days of Pruitt’s swearing-in, Trump is expected to sign one or more executive orders aimed at undoing Obama’s climate change regulations, and possibly to begin dismantling some EPA offices and programs, according to people familiar with the White House’s plans.

While it will be impossible to undo most major rules or programs that quickly, the presidential signatures would authorize Pruitt to cut existing environmental regulations — and, eventually, the jobs of many of the people who enforce them. [snip]

I’ve been here for 30 years, and I’ve never called my senator about a nominee before,” said an EPA employee in North Carolina who spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear losing her job.

The calls to senators come on top of an anti-Pruitt protest last week by Chicago EPA employees, and agency workers say that if Pruitt is confirmed, they intend to amplify their resistance to him, taking their case to the American public.

“At this point, it’s just, ‘call your senator,’” O’Grady, the union president, said. “We plan on more demonstrations, more rallies. I think you will see the employees’ union reaching out to NGOs and having alliances with them,” he added, referring to nongovernmental organizations. “We’re looking at working with PR firms.” [snip]

But former EPA officials said the open rebellion by current employees is extraordinary, especially considering that their resistance could backfire once Pruitt arrives on the job.

Scott Pruitt won confirmation on Friday. The EPA swamp will be drained and the ecology of government restored. Get ready for “reforming the Civil Service laws”. Remember, we save the best for last.

There are a lot of plotters and those who attempt to undermine the President of the United States. Some deserve prison. Others deserve much worse. This current congress deserves some condemnation too:

Yeah, this freakin’ congress is largely a waste, a swamp filled with waste.

Drudge Put It Perfectly: Congressional Republicans Flail and Fail
Incompetence hinders party from accomplishing Trump’s agenda

President Donald J. Trump is working night and day, seven days a week, but the congress is a freakin’ waste. But not entirely a waste. The goofball congress, run by the GOP establishment and Trump haters, have done a few things.

The wastrel congress run by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have done very little during the first Trump month. The Senate as usual has lounged in the swamp as if it were a high class hot tub at a Trump resort – failing to quickly fill President Trump’s cabinet. The House, under Paul Ryan, promises to get things done – after a week’s “recess” having done little thus far. Paul Ryan says that after the recess the House will begin to repeal ObamaCare and continue to prepare budgets and tax reform.

We’ll give Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and the Congress through the Trump month 2 – before we start to scream and shout. We want to preserve our dulcimer tones and sweet demeanor/disposition.

There is some hope we will remain sweet and purring. We saved the best for last.

During Trump month 1, a great many preparatory steps have been taken. A great many seeds planted. The next steps, the flowering seeds, might blossom unto heaven and feed the Guillotine in Trump month 2. Here’s a corpuscle taste, written by leftist NYMAG, to whet the appetite of the Guillotine:

The GOP Just Gave Congress the Power to Cut the Salaries of Individual Civil Servants to $1

This week, congressional Republicans gave themselves the power to slash the annual salary of any individual federal worker to as low as $1 — and the budget of any individual federal program right down to zero.

They executed this attack on the independence of the civil service by reviving an obscure provision enacted by Congress in 1876: The Holman Rule, named after the Indiana congressman who devised it, empowers any member of Congress to submit an amendment to an appropriations bill that targets the funding of a specific government program or employee. [snip]

For the past three decades, Congress has had the power to slash any agency’s overall budget, but not to target specific projects or civil servants for funding cuts or downsizing.

Until now.

This is a big rule change inside there that allows people to get at places they hadn’t before,” House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy told reporters this week. “All agencies should be held accountable and tested in a manner and this is an avenue to allow them to do it.” [snip]

Virginia congressman H. Morgan Griffith led the charge for reviving the Holman Rule, after learning about how much the federal government spends on the upkeep of wild horses ($80 million, apparently). When the Washington Post asked Griffith if the new rule would be used to cut “huge swaths” of the federal workforce, he replied, “I can’t tell you it won’t happen … The power is there. But isn’t that appropriate? Who runs this country, the people of the United States or the people on the people’s payroll?

For the next year, passing an amendment slashing an individual worker’s salary or position will require a simple majority in both houses of Congress.

Now that is Civil Service Reform. Sadly, the only way some workers, especially protected government workers, will be productive and follow the orders of those duly elected to run the government is under the threat of “You’re fired.” The unfortunate fact, as demonstrated by the IRS tax cheats, is that the federal bureaucracy needs to be cut back drastically. Also, the tail needs to understand it does not get to shake the big dog.

On Saint Valentine’s Day, Governor Chris Christie met with President Trump. No one other than the President and the Governor know what happened at that meeting. The best guess is Governor Christie will soon be employed by the President. As NYMAG reported, Governor Christie at a private function said that he advised President Trump early on “to immediately ask the Republican Congress to change the civil service laws. Because if they do, it will make it a lot easier to fire” Obama appointees.

Governor Christie might be the incoming “drain the swamp” machine. We’ll know soon enough. For now, the Guillotine is the apprentice on the job – beheading the swamp monsters – under orders from President Trump.

Beware swamp monsters and corrupt bureaucrats! President Donald J. Trump says “You’re fired!”

@SpeakerRyan Is A Dope; Big Media Is The Enemy

How big a malicious dope is Paul Ryan? How corrupt and destructive to America is Big Media? Let’s look at the dope first then the corrosive effect of Big Media corruption in our elections.

Before last Friday Paul Ryan was in a win/win position. Paul Ryan was forced by the GOP grass roots to issue a limp endorsement of Donald J. Trump and that phony endorsement freed Paul Ryan to constantly attack Donald J. Trump and never say a word in any way critical about Hillary2016. Paul Ryan was in a sweet spot.

Paul Ryan was in a win/win position no matter what happened in November. If Hillary2016 won Paul Ryan saw himself as the premier Republican leader, as he would have been. More importantly, Paul Ryan wants to pass TPP and illegal immigration amnesty and a Trump loss in November would allow Speaker Ryan to do just that. Quisling Paul Ryan would pass the Chamber of Commerce agenda in the House. If Donald J. Trump won, Speaker Paul Ryan would be the leader of the Republican House of Representatives and Speaker Ryan would lead the Dims and a rump group of Republicans in opposition to Trump. Whatever happened in November, Paul Ryan had it gamed out as a win.

But then Paul Ryan overreached and now Paul Ryan is in a lose/lose position. If Hillary2016 wins, Paul Ryan will be booted as Speaker. If Donald J. Trump wins, Paul Ryan will be booted as Speaker. What a dope. He had it all but wanted to dump Trump to be the candidate after he knocked off Mike Pence. What a dope.

Sleazy Politico reports that in the swing states the GOP leaders are standing with Trump. This is an attack against Paul Ryan. Rasmussen polls showed Donald J. Trump on Monday behind by seven. By the end of the week Rasmussen has Trump up by two. As M. Joseph Sheppard documents, the tracking polls after some ups and downs during the week, nothing much changed on the poll front despite all the pearl clutching and hair pulling. Trump is also rebounding in the state polls.

Even Gallup with it’s strong tilt against Trump shows that only 28% of the American public is “satisfied” with the direction of the country. Gallup warns:

When citizens are frustrated with the way things are going in the nation, they may be motivated to vote for change.

As we have repeatedly noted every time Chicken Little squawks “It’s over for Trump”, this is a change election. In a change election the candidate for change wins.

So what happened this past week? This past week Big Media decided to pummel Donald J. Trump with everything available because nothing thus far has made “It’s over for Trump” true. Big Media tries and tries to destroy Donald J. Trump and all that is accomplished is the American public watches the coup against the people.

Big Media is using polls to legitimize the Big Media attacks against Trump. Many of the polls are entirely cooked. Big Media attacks Trump then highlights even the least movement in the polls against Trump to demonstrate it is the people that are against Trump. But then Trump fights back. The people see Trump fight back. The people decide to stand with Trump. It’s a movement for change. Big change, not chump change.

Why do the people stand by Trump? The usually clueless home of Big Media collaborator with Hillary2016, CNBC makes a good guess:

Get ready for more Trump the pit bull that we saw on Sunday night. For some reason, when voters see Trump angrily fighting for himself, many of them take it be an example of how he’ll fight for them.

It’s what we wrote about to explain Donald J. Trump’s rise back in July of 2015:

Big Media and the entire political ruling class are terrified of Donald J. Trump. Want to know why Big Media and the entire political ruling class is terrified of Donald J. Trump? Big Media believes they are the power which ensures the supremacy of the political ruling class. Here is how Big Media dictators think of themselves:

Those of us in the media are not mere stenographers. We decide whose voices to elevate. We amplify information. We generate the narratives that define public discourse. This isn’t an opinion about how journalists should do their jobs; it’s a statement of fact about the power of information and those who wield it.

The main difference among journalists is that some are agnostic about what happens on the other side of the editorial wall. The rest of us are not.

As we wrote years ago, Big Media has turned into a political party determined to protect it’s power. It’s why Big Media opposes the Citizens United decision. Before Citizens United, corporate power by companies such as the Washington Post Company and the New York Times Company could be wielded as a monopoly exerting political power with editorial page endorsements valued in the millions to political campaigns. Now the companies which publish and control these newspapers and broadcast outlets no longer have monopoly power. Combine the Citizens United Supreme Court decision with the rise of the internet and the ruling class finds itself in danger.

The Citizens United decision and the rise of the internet threaten the ruling class. Then to the horror of the ruling political class, Donald J. Trump stood up to challenge their corruption as well. Now with Donald J. Trump, the power of the internet, the diminished power of Big Media, the ruling class sees the glint of the guillotine.

The rise of the internet and citizen journalists is much like the invention of the printing press. Before the printing press, kings and courtiers did not care much about “public opinion”. There was no such thing as public opinion. The people did not count. Then with the printing press and the rise of the written word, public opinion became a force to contend with. Over the years the owners of the printing presses began to think themselves as lords and masters. Now they have become Big Media in control of the printing presses, the pixel presses, the broadcast news and the cable outlets. It’s time to lop off the heads of Big Media in the same way the heads of dictators and kings rolled through the streets.

Years after we coined the phrase “Big Media” a Big Media outlet use the very term:

It’s an idea that was born when Time Inc. merged with Warner Communications Corp. in 1989, to form Time Warner. It endured as the industry’s prevailing business model for nearly a generation, spawning such clones and mongrel breeds as Viacom, News Corp and GE’s NBC Universal. The vertically integrated media conglomerate was—or was supposed to be—many amazing things, giving a handful of companies unprecedented power over the media—and the chance to earn outsized profits in the process. But its defining characteristic was its sheer size, earning it a fitting nickname: Big Media.

But the theory behind the strategy relied on more than size. Housed under one roof, a single Big Media entity would control the means of producing and distributing media content, from magazine and books to television shows and movies, from cartoons and theme parks to sports franchises and the cable networks that carry the games to recorded music labels and music publishers. In Time Warner’s prototype of the model, it would control everything from the first letter of a Time magazine story or Warner Books novel to the last alphabet of the credits at the end of a Warner Brothers flick or HBO series based on the magazine story or the book division’s fiction.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Big Media is absolutely corrupt. Big Media is the enemy.

Hillary Clinton supporters from 2008 recall that election well and we remember the absolute corruption of Big Media. That was a primary election drenched in sexism and misogyny. Big Media flexed its muscles in favor of Barack Obama. Nothing Barack Obama did was focused on. Everything Hillary Clinton said or did was attacked or ignored if it was favorable. Big Media was all in for Barack Obama and all in against Hillary Clinton.

In the New York Times, Judith Warner masturbated herself in the editorial pages as she and her friends dreamed of, literally dreamed of sex with Barack Obama:

The other night I dreamt of Barack Obama. [snip]

Were other people, I wondered, being possessed by our new first family?

I launched an e-mail inquiry. And learned that they were. Often, in strikingly similar ways.

Many women — not too surprisingly — were dreaming about sex with the president.

That cheap Big Media whore, Judith Warner masturbated herself on the editorial pages of the New York Times. Back in 2008 whores like Judith Warner engorged themselves watching Barack Obama’s penis while pretending to be all for woman power.

These woman power advocates of 2016 have forgotten what happened in 2008. In 2008 Big Media did everything to protect and fellate Barack Obama. That’s a fancy way of saying “blow job”. Any Hillary2016 advocate who associates themselves with Big Media only because this time Big Media is “on our side” is a whore. We have warned these whores that “what goes around comes around“. Big Media is not supporting Hillary Clinton nor did Big Media support Barack Obama. It’s the contrary. Barack Obama supported and enabled Big Media in 2008 and 2012. Now in 2016 Hillary Clinton is a whore to Big Media.

In 2008, Harry Reid claimed Barack Obama was a light skinned negro who talked OK. Biden liked Obama because Obama was clean. Big Media could find no fault with Barack Obama.

In 2008 CNN however possessed a videotape which could have destroyed Barack Obama and brought forth all the allegations of sexism and misogyny which were so evident in that campaign. Did CNN let American voters see the videotape? No. The videotape would have hurt Obama so the videotape was suppressed:

Obama’s Own Lewd Tape Emerges: Flaunts His Erection to Female Reporters [snip]

The video was captured by CNN back in 2008 while then-Senator Obama was first running for the highest office in the land. The 1:38 clip (below) features Obama seeming to proudly show off his erection to giggling female reporters, even giving them a full 360-degree display of his manhood while they cheer him on.

Big Media is the enemy. Whores like Judith Warner have been replaced in 2016 by Hillary Clinton 2008 supporters who now sing the praises of Barack and Michelle Obama and/or Hillary2016.

Big Media is the enemy. It’s not just “liberal” Big Media that is the enemy:

Wikileaks: ‘Anti-SJW’ Heat Street Founder Louise Mensch Pitched Ad Script to Hillary Clinton Campaign

Former British Conservative Party Member of Parliament and “right wing” blogger Louise Mensch privately tried to assist the Hillary Clinton campaign, emails published by Wikileaks reveal.

Mrs. Mensch runs the Rupert Murdoch-backed blog Heat Street, which claims to stand against identity politics and what it labels “social justice warriors” under the slogan “no safe spaces.”

However, its editor in chief, Mrs. Mensch, was caught writing a campaign advertisement script for the Democratic candidate – a woman who has traded off identity politics and social justice warrior politics. The ad appears to be based on the idea that Mrs. Clinton should be in office simply because she is female and is supported by “multiracial” women.

“… much rather have your girl Hillary,” Mrs. Mensch wrote in an email to Michael Kives of Creative Arts Agency (CAA), a former Clinton campaign advocate.

She said Hillary’s “intelligence [is] beyond doubt” but argued she “is not capitalizing on the yearning that we have to see a woman as President,” before scripting the campaign ad named “OUR TIME.”

Big Media is the enemy. Some in Big Media who believe the role of the media is to inform the American public have a problem with Trump because of the bias of their own circumstances. For instance the political heavyweight analyst Michael Barone is capable of seeing the bias in himself:

Overall, as I wrote on debate night, I think Clinton won the debate. Perhaps that reflects a professional writer’s prejudice in favor of people who speak, more or less, in whole sentences and paragraphs, and prejudice against those who engage in free-form, parenthetical-filled, free-association discourse. Or perhaps a former political consultant’s bias in favor of candidates who are well prepared. But on reflection and looking over the transcript, I think Trump did a fairly good job of discouraging marginal voters from voting for Clinton, more than I appreciated as I watched the debate.

Barone made that analysis of the first debate. He thought Hillary won but Barone acknowledged his bias favors the conventional candidate who speaks and strategizes in a conventional way, the way Barone would speak and strategize. Unfortunately, Barone let his prejudices and bias cloud his initial response to the first debate. Big Media power wielders should do an analysis based on their initial reactions but temper their reactions with honest assessments “on the other hand”.

Most Big Media writers no longer view their role to inform the public as their responsibility. Big Media today views their role as “not mere stenographers. We decide whose voices to elevate. We amplify information. We generate the narratives that define public discourse… the power of information and those who wield it.”

In this election it is Donald J. Trump and the people against Big Media. Nothing else matters. All else is subordinate. The thirst of the guillotine must be quenched. The ruling political class must be destroyed.

Big Media is the enemy. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Big Media is absolutely corrupt. Big Media is the enemy.

@RealDonaldTrump Wins Election In High Stakes Poker Game Against Back Stabber @SpeakerRyan

This here Trump feller is one smart cookie. He’s a chess player yes. But he’s an even better poker player. During the primaries when the election was fixed against him in favor of Jeb Bush, Trump repeatedly said that if the Republican Party did not treat him fairly he would walk, and take his millions of voters along. The result was the Republican Party forced a loyalty oath on him, which Trump craftily used to trap the other nominees and the Party hierarchy, which in the end resulted in a Trump nomination victory.

Trump knew all about the art of the deal and Trump knew the GOP could not afford to lose his voters. As Trump won primaries, the GOP establishment in the form of the Mitt Romney clowns tried to use Ted Cruz as their cat’s paw to destroy Trump. Instead Trump beat them all. But rust never sleeps and these rusty political clowns continued to troll the streets in an attempt to scare Donald J. Trump.

Twelve days into October we can see the green felt table in the Riverboat with Donald J. Trump, in a vest, bands around his biceps, over his white cotton shirt, a Maverick style cowboy hat with silver band on his head tilted back, playing high stakes poker with blue eyed pus*y boy Paul Ryan.

Paul Ryan attempted a coup this past weekend. A Bush tape was released on Friday with Trump goofing around with a boisterous little Bush boy talking about women. It reminded us of that Hartford Courant interview with another Bush:

Question: “When you’re not talking about politics, what do you and your father talk about?”
Bush: “Pussy.”

When you see a bush, a pus*y boy is not far behind…

Paul Ryan thought he was clever. The tricks the little blue eyed pus*y boy plays on Capitol Hill, he thought, would be used against Trump to great effect. First, before-during-after the convention, attack Trump every chance you get for whatever Trump says all the while pretending you have made your peace with the Trump nomination. Second, at a crucial moment before a debate and a few weeks before the election, finally announce at the end of a press release that you invited Donald J. Trump for the first time to a campaign event in your home district. Third, after the invitation release the tape that shocks pus*y boys, in order to destroy Trump. Fourth, signal the grassy knoll firing squad with a very public “disinvitation” and denunciation of Trump. Fifth, get pus*y boy Mormon and Romney ally Jason Chaffetz to withdraw his endorsement. Sixth, get more pus*sies to disendorse Trump. Seven, after Ayotte, McCain, and tens of other GOPers denounce Trump, have everyone call on Trump to withdraw and hint the replacement will be the VP nominee Mike Pence even though everyone knows it would be Paul Ryan.

Paul Ryan’s plan never would have worked but Ryan never thought of that, because Ryan is a pus*y boy about to be schlonged by the big fingered Trump.

Why would the Paul Ryan plan never have worked? Because Trump is a fighter that does not quit. Trump wrote the Art of the Deal so he knows how to negotiate. Trump knows when to hold them and when to fold them. In short, Trump is a smart man and Paul Ryan is a pus*y boy. The definition of a pus*y boy? A pus*y boy does not have a strong woman’s vagina – he is only good at getting fuc*ed.

So after all the plotting, pus*y boy Paul Ryan found himself at a green felt table, in a Riverboat, playing poker with Donald J. Trump, six-shooters at his side fully loaded and rarin’ to blast. Trump got dealt his hand and then pus*y boy grabbed his, um, cards. Pus*y boy Paul placed his bet that Trump would get out after Trump saw all the chips arrayed against him.

Pus*y boy Paul placed his chips on the table – Chaffetz, the Gropinator Arnold Schwarzenegger (the guy that groped all those women and who while married to a Kennedy, impregnated his own maid), John McCain (the guy that has the dirtiest mouth in D.C. having even called his own wife a “cunt” and a “whore”), and threats of more, although Trump knew pus*y boy Paul had no more chips to play. Trump knew that at the Wisconsin event Trump was disinvited from some in the home town crowd booed the pus*y boy. Trump knew that Joe Heck of Nevada was also booed for his attacks on Trump. Trump knew he held, the trump cards.

So after pus*y boy Paul placed his bet, piled all his chips in the center of the table, the moment arrived. Would Trump meet the bet? Or would Trump fold, throw down his cards in surrender? Trump did what the pus*y boy never expected. Trump not only met the bet, Trump did what Trump does – TRUMP RAISED THE STAKES!!!!!

Trump put his chips on the table. Trump’s chips are the Republican Party at every level, the House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate. Trump made it clear: “if I walk, I take my voters with me and you lose not only the White House, the Supreme Court, the Senate but you also lose all your power in the House of Representatives.” Trump made it clear he understood that a House of Representatives run by a Republican pus*y boy and a Senate run by a self interested conniver would stand up to the next president about as much as they stood up to Barack Obama. Trump knew without him in the White House TPP would pass almost immediately as would illegal immigration amnesty – and the Supreme Court that bowed to Obama on ObamaCare would be even worse. So Trump knew his voters and the American People had nothing to lose. Without Trump in the White House it was all over. So Trump raised the stakes in an international game of poker that even James Bond would not dare play.

Louie Gohmert, not an original Trump backer made it very clear that the current Republican leadership of the Congress will do nothing but make, then break promises:

Members on the call with Ryan described tense exchanges. The call lasted for about 45 minutes, before abruptly ending.

However, the Republican National Committee has pledged its continued support.

Some of the GOP’s most conservative lawmakers also continue to back Trump and chastise those who have abandoned him.

We have to get on board. It’s all in or nothing,” Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert, who was on Ryan’s call, told Fox News on Tuesday.

He said 11 House members are with Ryan, whom Gohmert also lambasted for saying his focus is now on ensuring that Clinton doesn’t enter the White House with Democrats having taken control of the House, too.

It’s not going to happen,” said Gohmert, arguing the Republicans now control the House and Senate but have not effectively stopped the Obama administration’s agenda.

Another House member on the call said outspoken California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher called Republican leaders “cowards.”

Pus*y Ryan and the GOP establishment only have energy to attack Donald J. Trump. The GOP establishment coddles Obama. Promises from the GOP of future action are null and void ab initio.

Pus*y boy Paul thought he could play his games and win. Then Trump raised the stakes. In retrospect, Trump was always going to win.

There are some Trump supporters, Monica Crowley on Tuesday night for instance, who believe that Donald J. Trump should let surrogates attack the GOP and that Trump should only go after Hillary2016. We respectfully disagree.

We believe Donald J. Trump should continue to be unshackled for the remainder of the week. Trump has been getting his kicks in at the opposition party in the form of Hillary2016. But Donald J. Trump’s real opposition is the ruling class establishment – particularly the establishment of the Republican Party – and Big Media. We think Trump should continue to break the GOP Quislings and Big Media all this week and into next.

Trump can turn his attacks and attention against Hillary2016 after he dispatches his GOP opposition party. Next week there will be another debate. Trump can go to the debate having defeated the GOP establishment and Big Media. Then Trump can take on Hillary2016.

A few days before the debate Trump can highlight the latest nuclear bombs exploding inside Hillary2016. The constant bombardment of the Wikileak emails will be an endless source of ammunition.

Donald J. Trump loves Wikileaks. Donald J. Trump loves to play high stakes poker. Donald J. Trump loves to win.

Donald J. Trump holds the trump cards. Despite all the cooked polls immediately after Friday to be followed by a dramatic rise after the second debate all the higher, Donald J. Trump will win. Why? Because it’s a change election. That’s all you need to know.
