Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!: Gorsuch Filibuster Reality

The left is disgusting, but the right ain’t too bright. On March 2, we wrote Conservative Treehouse doesn’t make sense:

Some on the right foolishly and mistakenly believe the madness will break during the Supreme Court confirmation fight for soon-to-be Justice Gorsuch. Some on the right, not understanding Obama Dimocrats, foolishly don’t understand the political battle as they concoct wild theories about why the filibuster won’t be deployed against soon-to-be Justice Gorsuch. These are dangerous delusions. The left is not even near full madness.

Conservative Treehouse dreamed up some silly scenario, so bizarre that you can read and reread it and it still can’t be understood, not even by the initial commentors, about why Neil Gorsuch was a shoe-in and no filibuster would be deployed by Chuck Schumer. The “rationale” for such a bizarre conclusion was too silly to even explain in any reality-based way. The Conservative Treehouse “analysis”: “Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will not filibuster the nomination. Relax, it’s 100%. 100%. Done.

That Treehouse analysis is nutty as a squirrel’s sac. It did not get any better after Chuck Schumer confirmed that indeed, as we predicted, there will be a filibuster. After delusional theory #1 exploded, the Treehouse churned up some more nutty butter to spread which made as little sense as their first flub. It was something about Russians and… well… this latest theory was again too silly to give serious consideration to.

Let’s explain political reality, as seen by Obama Dimocrats, to Conservative Treehouse so they can begin to add some bit of obvious to the discussion.

First, Conservative Treehouse and the not-too-bright right, think that it is the next Supreme Court confirmation battle or the one after that (when presumably a left wing Justice leaves the high court) that matters and that Gorsuch’s seat on the high court is somewhat of an afterthought. This is supremely stupid.

In all caps: GORSUCH IS THE BATTLE THAT MUST BE WON! It is not the next confirmation, nor the one after that that matters. Chuck Schumer understands that Neil Gorsuch must be defeated because Gorsuch’s confirmation will be a devastating blow to the left from which the left will not recover for generations. Neil Gorsuch returns the court to a conservative majority. That majority might not be the perfect conservative majority of the ideologically right wing – but Neil Gorsuch will return a 5-4 majority to the Supreme Court. THAT IS THE BATTLE. THAT IS EVERYTHING.

After the GOP ObamaCare repeal and replace defeat, Chuck Schumer knows that one more big defeat for President Trump and the Republicans will mean the GOP is neutered and the 2018 elections become a real contest with likely Obama Dimocrat victories unimaginable until now. The consequences of a Neil Gorsuch defeat means that President Trump would have to name a new nominee to the Supreme Court who would have to be a centrist (and still not be confirmed) and more time would be burned up and less and less could be accomplished by President Trump.

Chuck Schumer is doing what any brilliant General knows to do when your forces are weak and outmatched by the opposition: stall for time. In time, the stronger forces grow weaker and the weaker forces grow stronger.

Now, some on the not-too-bright-right will respond that “no, the big battle will be the one to replace the dead Justice Ginsberg.” Um, stupid. If Justice Ginsberg dies (or resigns) while Trump is president, President Trump does not really have to do anything. The Supreme Court would go from a 5-4 conservative majority to a 5-3 conservative majority on the court via subtraction. A one vote majority would become a two vote majority automatically. Of course, President Trump would make a nomination and then the majority would become a 6-3 majority. But 5-3 or 6-3 the left can add single digits. The Obama Dimocrats like Chuck Schumer understand all this. The left knows Neil Gorsuch is THE battle even if the right is not too bright. Conservative Treehouse and the not-too-bright-right hallucinated themselves into a dream that Gorsuch is not the most important battle for the left.

In addition, the left will frequently circumvent the political process by going to the courts to gain in the judicial arena what they lost in the political arena. That’s why Barack Obama and Harry Reid destroyed the judicial filibuster to get Obama nominees to the district and appellate courts confirmed.

For the left, Gorsuch is everything. For the left all the gains at the district and appellate level will be eliminated if the high court regains a conservative majority. The left is correct, the right is wrong, in this analysis.

Chuck Schumer also understands that 2018 will be a very difficult election for Obama Dimocrats because so many Dimocrats are running and many of those will fight for reelection in red states that Donald J. Trump won with wide margins; while few Republicans are up for reelection at all and most of those are in red states. Chuck Schumer also understands that the dimwits on the left, unlike the right, rarely vote in off year elections.

Chuck Schumer and the left further understand that their hope in 2018 and 2020 is to run a “base” election. To run a “base” election the base has to be happy. The DailyKooks left base will not be happy if Schumer does not filibuster Gorsuch.

Once again, for the left the Gorsuch confirmation battle is the battle of all battles. They know there is no “next”.

The left also understands the weakness on the right. There are several GOP senators that are in many ways closer to the left than they are to the right. Senators Murkowski, Collins, Graham, and McCain, are always ready to join a “gang” of eight or four to block victory and grasp defeat. For these four senators what matters is the traditions of the senate and collegiality but most of all flattery from Big Media. They also don’t want to see the filibuster destroyed because that would make the senate too much like the low rent House.

Some senators also know that “what goes around comes around”. Get rid of the minority friendly judicial filibuster now, and when the majority becomes the minority they will have lost a last resort weapon.

Because the GOP only has 52 votes out of 100 in the senate Senators Murkowski, Collins, Graham, and McCain can sorta filibuster the death of the filibuster. Yes, these four can kill the kill-the-filibuster crew. That the confirmation filibuster will be killed by the Obama Dimocrats the moment they seize power and it becomes advantageous to do so does not mean much to these four.

Or… maybe not? There is some good and unexpected news on this judicial confirmation filibuster fight:

Eliminating the filibuster would break Senate precedent and make it impossible for Democrats to hold the nominee to a 60-vote threshold, allowing Republicans to approve Gorsuch with a simple majority.

Graham told conservative radio show host Mike Gallagher that he would vote for the nuclear option if necessary.

Whatever it takes to get him on the court, I will do,” Graham said, after being asked about using the nuclear option.

If my Democratic colleagues choose to filibuster this guy, then they will be telling me that they don’t accept the election results — 306 electoral votes — that they’re trying to delegitimize President Trump,” Graham continued. “And that’s not right, and we would have to change the rules to have the Supreme Court like everybody else.” [snip]

I hope that we can get 60 votes and not change 200-plus years of history, but I will do whatever’s necessary, but I’ve been a pretty balanced guy and enough is enough,” Graham said.

If Graham won’t crumble, will McCain? Good news there too:

In a closely divided Senate (Republicans hold a 52-48 majority), it would only take three Republicans to let Schumer have his way, but comments from several Senate Republicans suggest they’re not going to give in to Democratic demands.

Arizona senator John McCain hinted Thursday afternoon that he’s ready to confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch with a simple majority if Senate Democrats take the unprecedented step of filibustering a Supreme Court nominee. Asked what Republicans should do if 41 or more Democrats try to block Gorsuch, McCain told THE WEEKLY STANDARD: “I think we’ll address it when it happens. None of us want to do it, but we’re going to confirm Gorsuch.” [snip]

Arizona’s Jeff Flake told TWS: “We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it, but I think we’ll get him confirmed.”

“There’s no reason for anybody to filibuster,” said Lisa Murkowski, a moderate from Alaska. “Gorsuch is a good guy.”

You can’t take anything for granted with that crew but at least for now they are making the right noises. Not that Chuck Schumer believes them. Chuck Schumer is playing for time and he knows how to play these Big Media compliant senators. Chuck Schumer thinks he will get himself a traitor or two and win the big battle:

Schumer confident Democrats have votes to block Gorsuch
The Senate minority leader is prepared to force Mitch McConnell to try to invoke the ‘nuclear option.’

Chuck Schumer is prepared to push the Senate into a nuclear confrontation over the Supreme Court. [snip]

Dismissing the notion of a deal to confirm Gorsuch floated by some members of his caucus this week, Schumer all but declared that Donald Trump’s nominee will not receive the requisite eight Democratic votes — and that it will be up to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as to whether to try to blow up the filibuster to get Gorsuch through. [snip]

If Schumer stops Gorsuch during a filibuster vote in early April — and the New Yorker was brimming with confidence that he will — it will almost certainly force McConnell’s hand on the so-called nuclear option. Schumer is betting McConnell does not have the votes to do away with the 60-vote requirement for Supreme Court nominees.

“I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion that Mitch McConnell changes the rules,” Schumer said. “There are people in his caucus who really don’t want to change the rules, OK?

This is not about “payback” for Merrick Garland. The wilted Garland confirmation that never was excuse is a way for Obama Dimocrats and Big Media to justify the filibuster to the public. The right wing delusionalists do not get it but the leftists understand that Gorsuch is the big battle:

Liberal activists warn party’s lawmakers: Primaries are coming [snip]

Frustrated by the party’s performance on Capitol Hill and emboldened by the mass protests against President Donald Trump, a coalition of progressive groups say they are open to supporting primary challengers next year against Democratic members of the House and Senate – even if many inside the party believe that intra-party races might ultimately only help the Republican Party gain more power. [snip]

“Every single Democratic incumbent considering aiding and abetting the Trump administration needs to consider their jobs at high risk,” said Charles Chamberlain, executive director of Democracy for America, a grassroots progressive advocacy group based in Vermont. [snip]

The base is more than restless – it’s furious,” said Ben Wikler, Washington director for MoveOn.org, a longtime and well-known liberal advocacy group. “It’s up to each and every elected Democrat: If they want to be part of the resistance, they’ll have an army by their side.

“And if they don’t, they’ll have to face the biggest grassroots movement that I’ve seen in my life,” he added.

The threats are representative of a rift within the Democratic Party over its midterm election strategy, between its more moderate establishment and an emboldened liberal faction. Many members of the party establishment think its lawmakers, especially those who represent states of districts won by Trump last year, must win over Republican voters by finding times to cooperate with the president.

Adding to the tension is that 10 Senate Democrats are running for re-election next year in states Trump won during last year’s presidential campaign. Five of the states were also won by former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney in 2012. [snip]

Anything short of an all-out effort from Democrats to stop the judge, including forcing Senate Republicans to lower the existing 60-vote threshold for confirmation of Supreme Court justices, will incite the base, they say.

The not-too-bright right must understand the mentality of the left and not succumb to nuts-falling-from-the-tree theories. For the left, Gorsuch is THE battle. And the left is correct. Gorsuch is THE battle! Gorsuch means 5-4 for generations (or 6-3, or 7-2). For Obama Dimocrats up for reelection in 2018 the crossfire of left and right attacks will be most bloody. Everyway you look at it they lose.

So why is this a “Glory, Glory, Hallelujah” moment? For four reasons.

Reason #1: A Gorsuch confirmation victory on April 3 (when the Judiciary Committee votes) and on April 8 (or before, when the entire U.S. Senate votes) will wipe away the defeat on the ObamaCare battle for the GOP. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

Reason #2: A Gorsuch confirmation victory means more victories as the 5-4 majority will be restored. On President Trump’s immigration policies these will be especially important victories as they will on those ObamaCare cases which will finish off ObamaCare, all thus far stifled by the current 4-4 split on the high court. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

Reason #3: A Gorsuch confirmation victory means that as we have long suggested and advocated, if you are going to get rid of the judicial confirmation filibuster do it as early as possible so that President Trump can effect his policies more easily for eight years. As we wrote previously, Barack Obama dumped the filibuster for the lower court confirmations very late in his term instead of early on when the boob could have done even more damage than he did. The GOP with President Trump should not make the same stupid mistake. If it is to be done, do it quickly and early – a philosophy we share with the Bard. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

Reason #4: This confirmation will make later confirmations faster, easier. There will be other confirmation battles if the Gorsuch battle goes well and Gorsuch gets on the high court before the late April arguments are heard and voted on. The end of the judicial filibuster means that President Trump will be free to appoint whom he wants without fear of the Obama Dimocrats.

Contrary to what the TreeHouse theorizes about, a Gorsuch victory will make it more likely that the high court majority will be strengthened. That nonsense about Justice Kennedy assumes so much it is laughable. The facts are that once Neil Gorsuch is Justice Gorsuch – due to the end of the filibuster, some of the older conservative Justices will feel free to resign and be replaced with younger versions of themselves that will continue the Trump Legacy for generations.

Forty-nine year old Gorsuch replacing Scalia will be followed by forty-something year old replacements for Thomas and Kennedy (a more consistently conservative version too). On the left our bet is that faced with a younger and stronger 5-4 majority and the futility of resistance, Justice Breyer will call it quits to be followed by Justice Ginsberg.

The left could try to thwart all this via cooperation with President Trump. Schumer could try to work out deals with President Trump and cajole and sweet talk the President into going a bit more center on nominations and policy.

But Schumer and the left won’t cooperate. They will filibuster. They will fight. And President Trump will fight back. That’s why we say, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!!!

Everyday is Trump Christmas. The gifts just keep on coming.

Today we get a train transfer on ObamaCare, the question of “what is more important – an illegal immigrant or women” answered, and potentially even more information to prove President Trump correct in his battle with the “deep state”.

* * * * * *

Let’s start with women. In 2008 we saw the left favors black men over women during the presidential election. Fat ol’ Oprah the crackhead in 2007/2008 went with skin color over the audience that made her. The left in unison went with the black guy too over the woman candidate. In 2017, we can see that illegal immigrants too are more important than women to the left.

Remember that Rockville rape we wrote about? A 14 year old girl was raped anally, orally and vaginally. Last night on Tucker Carlson the experienced lawyer for the men who raped her claimed she wanted it. You can’t rape the willing said the leftist lawyer:

Bitch wanted to get fu*ked says the lawyer and we will smear her as much as we can. So much for the “To every survivor of sexual assault … You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed. We’re with you” mantra Hillary Clinton used to declare. We have not heard from Hillary Clinton on this issue. The womens’ rights activist remains silent. Why? Well, illegal immigrant male rapists are more important to the left than women. Go to hell bitches!

14 year old bitch ain’t alone. A two year old toddler was also assaulted by a man in New York. You won’t know it from the Newsday report because it’s buried, but yeah, illegal alien. Big Media won’t report he’s illegal. You have to search to find that he was deported four times already. He’s also a gang member. The two year old? She’s the daughter of his “girlfriend”. Illegal alien also stabbed his “girlfriend” and another woman. One in the face. He was sleeping peacefully when gently arrested. Illegal woman stabber and toddler rapist will soon have a great lawyer from the left. Yeah, we’re waiting for Hillary Clinton to comment on this too.

Guess Donald J. Trump was right on the illegal immigration issue. And, on this issue President Trump is on the job and soon these problems will be a thing of the past. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

* * * * * *

Today is also the day when President Trump will have additional ammunition via Representative Nunes for his astonishing claims of Obama skullduggery and snooping. President Trump, as we wrote previously, has already been vindicated. We also wrote that “the scandal is the ‘unmasking’“. Vindication! – On all fronts in this story, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

Potential ‘smoking gun’ showing Obama administration spied on Trump team, source says

Republican congressional investigators expect a potential “smoking gun” establishing that the Obama administration spied on the Trump transition team, and possibly the president-elect himself, will be produced to the House Intelligence Committee this week, a source told Fox News.

Classified intelligence showing incidental collection of Trump team communications, purportedly seen by committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and described by him in vague terms at a bombshell Wednesday afternoon news conference, came from multiple sources, Capitol Hill sources told Fox News. The intelligence corroborated information about surveillance of the Trump team that was known to Nunes, sources said, even before President Trump accused his predecessor of having wiretapped him in a series of now-infamous tweets posted on March 4.

The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the Obama administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources.

Lots more at the link. Lots more today from Nunes. The F.B.I. is not cooperating with the investigation. F.B.I. Director Comey has been summoned for more testimony before the Intelligence Committee. Nunes is on the job. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah.

* * * * * *

Then there is ObamaCare. Less glory, less glory, but a hearty Hallelujah! This was our analysis about the fight to repeal ObamaCare:

It’s two trains running. Two trains running along two separate tracks and President Trump ready, willing, and able, to jump from Von Ryan’s Express to the TrumpTrain. President Trump is on Von Ryan’s Express on the healthcare debate for now, but it is very easy to see that President Trump has a very good grasp on the truth in this healthcare debate and might soon jump to the TrumpTrain.

Well, President Trump is about to jump from Paul von Ryan Express to nowhere and onto the fast moving Trump train to victory.

Yesterday, President Trump realized games were being played and he decided to play “schlong the swamp”. President Trump declared he wanted a vote TODAY and if it is no, then he will move on. What we suggested should happen, will happen if the Phase I vote fumbles today:

If we are wrong and Phase I does fail or looks like it is about to fail, President Trump can implement Phase II and thereby force a revisit of Phase I by one and all – Democrats responsible for ObamaCare and the current mess as well as Republicans. President Trump can basically gut ObamaCare like a fish via Secretary Price.

President Trump can basically agree to the federal court ruling and stop immediately the cost sharing program and thereby destroy ObamaCare with the excuse that he is obeying a federal court order. End of the world ensues for Obama Dimocrats.

To quote from the band that wrote/sang “You can’t always get what you want” this is an instance of “Let It Bleed”. In “Enders Game” we quoted from a CNN article about the next “let it bleed” step:

In an Oval Office meeting featuring leaders of conservative groups that already lining up against House Republicans’ plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, President Donald Trump revealed his plan in the event the GOP effort doesn’t succeed: Allow Obamacare to fail and let Democrats take the blame, sources at the gathering told CNN.

If by some miracle the Phase I bill passes today, well, it will be a miracle entirely due to President Trump’s efforts and nobody else.

In Enders Game we pinpointed one of the big problems of the current ObamaCare repeal and replace bill: Paul Ryan. As we wrote, Something is just not right with that boy.

President Trump apparently knows (according to the New York Times, so grain of salt warning) “something is just not right with that boy“:

Mr. Trump has told four people close to him that he regrets going along with Speaker Paul D. Ryan’s plan to push a health care overhaul before unveiling a tax cut proposal more politically palatable to Republicans.

He said ruefully this week that he should have done tax reform first when it became clear that the quick-hit health care victory he had hoped for was not going to materialize on Thursday, the seventh anniversary of the act’s passage, when the legislation was scheduled for a vote.

Two of his most influential advisers — Stephen K. Bannon, his chief strategist, and Gary D. Cohn, the National Economic Council director, who had a major role in pushing the bill — came to agree, and did not like the compromise that was emerging. So on Thursday night, Mr. Trump delivered an ultimatum.

He dispatched his budget adviser, Mick Mulvaney, to a conference of House Republicans and told them they had to vote on Friday. And if the bill fails, he said, Mr. Trump will move on.

Bryon York had warned earlier on about Paul Ryan:

Now, however, in the middle of his first 100 days in office, Trump has gotten bogged down in a complex, time-consuming, and unpopular fight over another issue — repealing and replacing Obamacare — that, while a key Republican priority and a Trump campaign promise, is not at the very top of the public’s concerns.

New to Washington and with no experience in public office, Trump has become a prisoner to the House Republican leadership — or more precisely, to the complicated procedural requirements of the House and Senate, and the judgment of the GOP leadership that must operate within those boundaries.

All across the capital, politicos are arguing about what House Republicans should do next in the Obamacare fight. Can they prevail in the Budget Committee? How much damage has the CBO report done? Can the Freedom Caucus be brought aboard? What about the moderates? And reconciliation? The three-step process?

It has become mind-numbingly complicated. And perhaps the answer to all those questions is one simple sentence: Republicans are working on the wrong thing. And the Republican president is allowing himself to be distracted from delivering early and often on his core campaign promise of improving the economy and bringing jobs to millions of Americans.

Glory, Glory, Hallelujah! Now President Trump understands the above and has unshackled himself. President Trump has jumped from the Paul Von Ryan Express and onto the Trump train!

It’s over for Ryan, really:

In public, President Donald Trump is standing by House Speaker Paul Ryan over the Obamacare replacement bill.

Behind the scenes, the president’s aides are planning to blame Ryan if there is an embarrassing defeat on a bill that has been a Republican goal for more than seven years, a senior administration official said. [snip]

Ryan is coming to the White House to brief Trump on the bill’s status, three Republican officials said. Several House Republicans including the chairman of the Appropriations Committee announced in the morning that they would vote against the measure, making its prospects grim. [snip]

I think Paul Ryan did a major disservice to President Trump, I think the president was extremely courageous in taking on health care and trusted others to come through with a program he could sign off on,” Chris Ruddy, chief executive officer of Newsmax and a long-time friend of Trump’s, said in an interview last week. “The President had confidence Paul Ryan would come up with a good plan and to me, it is disappointing.”

A Trump associate who requested anonymity to discuss the president’s views on the matter said that White House chief of staff Reince Priebus may also be imperiled.

Trump’s core supporters regarded Ryan as at best unimportant during the presidential campaign and at worst a poster child for the sort of establishment, scripted politician they loathed.

As we’ve written previously, anything is better than ObamaCare. ObamaCare must be repealed. Replaced? Eh.

Today’s real failure or potential failure (we’ll know soon) will not be good news on the face of it. It will be a GOP failure and all President Trump will be able to claim is that, as we discussed, “he is making a good faith effort to pass the current bill“. Done, done, and done.

But, as we discussed, ObamaCare will be repealed one way or the other. As of today, it will be the “let it bleed” way.

So why are we “happy”? Because we like clarity. We like it that everyone sees which Republicans really meant their earlier votes to repeal ObamaCare. We like it that everyone saw how hard President Trump worked to get the ObamaCare repeal passed.

We also want the swamp drained. We want Paul Ryan gone. We want as Mike Mulvaney said, health care, not costly useless health insurance.

After today, one way or the other ObamaCare will be repealed – along with Paul Ryan – and President Trump can govern as the outsider he is.

Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

#POTUS @RealDonaldTrump Vindicated: London Terror Attack, #RockvilleRape, Nunes Intel Bombshell

President Trump bugged:

“I recently confirmed that on numerous occasions, the intelligence community collected information on U.S. individuals involved in the Trump transition,” Nunes told reporters.

Details about U.S. persons involved in the incoming administration with little or no apparent foreign intelligence value were widely disseminated in intelligence community reports.

He said that “additional names” of Trump transition officials had been unmasked in the intelligence reports and indicated that Trump’s communications may have been swept up as well. [snip]

“I want to be clear — none of this surveillance was related to Russia or the investigation of Russian activities or of the Trump team,” Nunes said. [snip]

The information was “legally brought to him by sources who thought we should know it,” Nunes said, though he declined to provide further detail. [snip]

Nunes later told reporters at the White House that he believes the details should “bother” the president and his team because some of the collection seemed “inappropriate.” [snip]

Trump said later Wednesday that he felt “somewhat” vindicated by Nunes’s revelation.

As we previously wrote, the scandal is the “unmasking”. Next Tuesday former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan and former acting Attorney General Sally Yates (the one who shirked her duty to defend President Trump’s travel ban in court therefore fired by PDT) will appear at an Intelligence Committee hearing. At some point Comey the Clown will have to return to ‘splain all of this after his assurances that nobody did what was done. So will Barack Obama:

The FBI is not cooperating with the House of Representatives’ investigation into the NSA’s surveillance of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election, the chairman of the U.S. House Permanent Select Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), said today. [snip]

“We don’t actually know yet officially what happened to General Flynn,” Nunes said of how communications from Gen. Flynn’s calls were leaked to the press. “We just know that his name leaked out but we don’t know how it was picked up yet. That was one of the things that we asked for in the March 15th letter, was for the NSA, CIA, and FBI to get us all the unmasking that was done.”

“And I’ll tell you, NSA is being cooperative,” Nunes continued, “but so far the FBI has not told us whether or not they’re going to respond to our March 15th letter, which is now a couple of weeks old.”

Nunes also reported that as of now, he “cannot rule out” President Obama ordering the surveillance.

And contrary to earlier media reports, Nunes clarified that the surveillance was not related to the FBI’s investigation into possible collusion with Russia. This surveillance, he emphasized to reporters, does not “have anything to do with Russia.”

Trump Vindicated!

In France a few days ago, the police declared themselves perplexed as to the motives of a killer who shouted something about Allah as he went on with his attempted killings. French police cannot unravel the mystery as to why the Allah shouting killer killed.

Today London police will soon be perplexed:

FOUR people are dead – including police officer and terrorist – and 20 more injured – after killer mowed down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before killer is shot attacking police in Parliament grounds

The police reports from London describe the wonton, er, wanton killer as “middle-aged and Asian”. While we merely studied anthropology and are not “experts” at determination of racial or ethnic origin we suspect this killer is not “Asian” as we understand the term.

Skin complexion? Not “black” but most assuredly “dark” of skin. Not the usual complexion most people associate as “Asian” in the sense of Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian or Chinese. In fact, what can be seen in photos released thus far by the DailyMail, the killer in question had a beard which began at his sideburns and followed a path to the chin and back up to the other sideburn. It’s not a “Fu Manchu” beard we associate with “Asian”. No, this beard is very similar to the one worn by El Sayyid Nosair.

Take a look for yourself: the Mirror too has a photo of the dead killer. We would say more “middle eastern” than “Asian”. Although the killer was driving a Hyundai 4x4n which is an “Asian” car.

Good thing Britain went Brexit as President Trump suggested. Maybe once they regain control of their borders Britain will be Great again. Trump Vindicated.

Then there is the Rockville rape. Trump Vindicated again:

Two illegal-alien teenagers who were placed in ninth-grade classes at Montgomery County Schools, Maryland, have been arrested and charged with the brutal rape of a 14-year-old girl, and at least one of the boys had a pending deportation order from ICE.

The boys, identified as Henry Sanchez, 18, of Guatemala and Jose Montano, 17, of El Salvador, approached the young girl in the hallway near the gymnasium inside Rockville High School during school hours about 9 a.m. on Thursday.

Montano asked her for sex.

The girl refused — twice.

So the two boys forced her into the boys bathroom and then into a stall.

Montano pushed her into the corner of the stall and began kissing her neck, despite her repeatedly telling him to stop. He unzipped her top, forcibly removed her clothes and the two proceeded to rape her at the same time, then traded positions and raped her again.

She cried out in pain, the report says, but the assault continued. By the time it was over, they had raped her anally, orally and vaginally, according to the police report. [snip]

“18-year-old criminals set to be deported should not be a freshman in our public schools,” stated a post on the website of Help Save Maryland, an organization that opposes illegal immigration.

Maryland is perhaps the most welcoming state for illegal aliens and refugees in the Eastern United States, with Montgomery County the most welcoming county in the state. Maryland gives in-state tuition rates to illegal-alien college students, and its legislature is considering a bill that would declare Maryland the country’s first sanctuary state. Montgomery County is already a sanctuary county, denying 63 ICE requests to turn over illegal-alien criminals last year, Fox News reported.

These policies helped create a culture that allows a young girl to be raped and sodomized in a bathroom stall by two illegal-alien boys, at least one of whom was ordered to be deported, border hawks told WND.

Thus far we have not heard Hillary Clinton denounce this rapists. Thus far we have not seen hordes of women in pussy hats march on Montgomery County demanding justice for this girl. Thus far we have not heard Chelsea Clinton, about to be awarded a “lifetime achievement” prize from Variety, say anything about the Rockville rape.

Some other bleeding heart liberals however, have been “woke”:

Some Obama Dimocrats however will continue to lie and protect the rapists:

Trump vindicated again. How many times has Trump been vindicated even as Big Media declared such vindications impossible before they emerged as fact?

Tomorrow President Donald J. Trump will face a tough challenge. The House of Representatives votes on an “ObamaCare repeal/replace”.

On April 3 the Senate Judiciary Committee will vote on the Gorsuch nomination. On or before April 8 the U.S. Senate will vote on the confirmation of Gorsuch to become Justice Gorsuch of the Supreme Court.

Will President Trump be vindicated again and again? Will President Trump get tired of vindication?

Tomorrow, the President Trump potential vindications continue.

@POTUS @RealDonaldTrump Legacy Monday: Happy Birthday Barron Trump, Neil Gorsuch Shocker, Russia Intelligence Bomb

Today is Trump Legacy Monday. On every front President Trump builds – his legacy, monuments, and legislative achievements.

Legacy! Biggest legacy item for any father is family. For Donald J. Trump he has a big family of very talented children. But the vengeance? The one that sweeps them all away? Barron Trump.

Today is Barron Trump’s birthday. Have you seen the latest pictures of that boy? Barron Trump is now taller than his mother and arguably prettier. Barron Trump is almost as tall as his six foot plus father.

Today, this first day of spring, Barron Trump is eleven years old. When President Trump becomes a civilian again Barron Trump will be eighteen years old. Picture an eighteen year old Barron Trump!

Remember that earlier gorgeous hunk, John-John Kennedy Jr.? Well, forget him. In eight years Barron Trump can be a star at whatever he chooses to be. Basketball player? Golfer? Builder? Actor? Boy Band performer? Restauranteur? For Obama Dimocrats the nightmare is that Barron Trump decides to follow his father’s footsteps and have a business career then a political career. Barron Trump and President Trump will have the last laugh after all the ugly attacks they have endured.

* * * * * *

Legacy! Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court. Spring’s green shoots sprout forth.

Today the confirmation hearings for Neil Gorsuch, expected to last several days, begin. The Obama Dimocrats are already defeated but resist that reality. Neil Gorsuch will soon be Justice Gorsuch. The only open question is whether or not the Obama Dimocrats will filibuster as has been promised by Senators Blumenthal and Merkley. The Obama Dimocrat nutroots demand a filibuster.

A filibuster of Neil Gorsuch will be a big help for President Trump. The Republicans that control the U.S. Senate will follow in Obama Dimocrat Leader Harry Reid’s footsteps and kill the filibuster forever. Then President Trump will have an easy time of it for his second and third Supreme Court appointments. Obama Dimocrats shudder and shake as President Trump builds his legacy on the Supreme Court this first day of spring.

There is one shocking fact about Neil Gorsuch that few talk about.

[whisper] Neil Gorsuch is a Protestant. Yeah. A WASP. A White Anglo-Saxon Protestant.

About half of Americans are Protestants. The Protestant Ethic built America. Yet, the WASP is the only group you can still attack in the most racially ugly terms possible.

There is not one single Protestant on the Supreme Court.

There are Catholics and Jews on the Supreme Court. There are men and women on the Supreme Court. Latinos and blacks are represented on the Supreme Court. Not one single Protestant. Neil Gorsuch will only begin to restore the balance to the Supreme Court.

Neil Gorsuch will restore the five vote majority of non-leftists on the high court. This will be a major legacy item for President Trump in his first hundred days.

Those like us here that in the comments have been tracking with giggles and guffaws the Ninth Circuit lunacy over President Trump’s executive orders on immigration will have more giggles and guffaws to come as President Trump trumps on immigration. In the immigration battles to come Neil Gorsuch will add to the President Trump legacy.

* * * * * *

On this first day of spring we also see the trees bloom and fill with nuts. In the House of Representatives the nuts are plentiful.

Today, at a hearing in the House, Obama Dimocrats chortled. Resistance to reality reigned.

Obama Dimocrats made a great show about their deranged allegations. The Obama Dimocrat base swooned with fantasies of a soon to be impeached President Trump brought down by a Russia-Trump connection which stole the American election and now America under a Putin palace coup will soon be liberated.

On national television the Obama Dimocrat elected representatives fed the mushroom hallucinations of their masturbating fantasist base.

Fortunately, the Obama Dimocrats are unable to see their fantasies will ultimately dissolve and thus President Trump’s legacy will be framed by the madness of the lunatic crowd. The Obama Dimocrats have been warned. Leftist Glenn Greenwald warns them to wean off the hallucinogens because there is no evidence of their delusions as real, here in the real world. Byron York has warned them too with an explanation of history.

Hells bells! What more do these leftist loons need? Even leftist Ben Smith who published lies about President Trump tries to warn these Hopium addled loons off their self medication and hallucinations. In the end the only valid question about Russia that will remain is the “unmasking” one that will enhance President Trump’s legacy and bring historic mockery of the madness of the Obama Dims.

* * * * * *

On this first day of spring, President Trump’s legacy is already assured and ready to grow for eight more years. As Michael Barone explains, Americans believe President Trump’s policies are working. Americans know President Trump is a fighter and will fight to cut back waste and fraud in government. That’s why we know who will win the fight which Howie Kurtz explains as the swamp fighting back.

The swamp will also fight back to defend the swamp stench called ObamaCare. But it is already too late. President Trump will build his legacy by destroying Barack Obama’s sole “legacy”. The first vote is set for Thursday. The new legacy will destroy the old legacy which will only serve to enhance the significance of the President Trump legacy.

Want to have an historic giggle and guffaw? Consider the House will “schedule a floor vote on the bill Thursday, seven years to the day that Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act.” Tomorrow morning President Trump will meet with every House Republican to prepare for that vote and to announce the changes to be made to Phase I of the ObamaCare repeal and replace.

So today, the first day of spring, President Trump will be in Louisville Kentucky at a rally. It will be another rip-roaring tub-thumping rock-n-rollicking event.

It’s Legacy Monday baby!

Laser Focus: #POTUS @RealDonaldTrump Tweet Faves – War With #NorthKorea By Summer?

We enjoy President Trump’s tweets. Look at this flavor packed beauty from today:

In one “Tweet” limited by a 140 character rule, President Trump took note of North Korea’s character and current posture, expressed his righteous indignation that North Korea’s behavior is unchanged from their abysmal behavior of years, and wraps it all up on with a bright red bow declaring that China is playing a game here because “China has done little to help”. The exclamation point after breaking China is a rain of glitter on a brilliant gem of a tweet.

If brevity is the soul of wit surely President Trump’s tweets are the apex of rhetorical power.

President Trump managed in 140 characters to flex his muscles and declare what to others requires mountains of books to express.

We get an Amen! from Secretary of State T-Rex Tillerson:

We stand together in facing what was once a regional security challenge, but today North Korea threatens not only its regional neighbors, but the United States and other countries. Efforts toward North Korea to achieve peaceful stability over the last two decades have failed to make us safer. The U.S. and our allies have repeatedly reassured North Korea’s leaders that we seek only peace, stability, and economic prosperity for Northeast Asia. As proof of our intent, America has provided $1.3 billion in assistance to North Korea since 1995. In return, North Korea has detonated nuclear weapons, and dramatically increased its launches of ballistic missiles to threaten America and our allies.

The U.S. commitment to our allies is unwavering. In the face of North Korea’s grave and escalating global threat, it is important for me to consult with our friends, and chart a path that secures the peace. Let me be very clear: the policy of strategic patience has ended. We are exploring a new range of diplomatic, security, and economic measures. All options are on the table. North Korea must understand that the only path to a secure, economically-prosperous future is to abandon its development of nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles, and other weapons of mass destruction.

T-Rex Tillerson also said hello to his little friend Thaad:

We call on other regional powers and all nations to join us in demanding the North Korean Government choose a better path and a different future for its people. The United States is committed to supporting the defense of our allies, and we will continue to develop a comprehensive set of capabilities to counter the growing North Korean ballistic missile threat.

That is why the United States and the Republic of Korea decided to take the defensive measure of deploying THAAD Missile Defense System. While we acknowledge China’s opposition, its economic retaliation against South Korea is inappropriate and troubling. We ask China to refrain from such action. Instead, we urge China to address the threat that makes that necessary, that being the escalating threat from North Korea.

China is upset with Thaad. Thaad’s huge big brother might be making the rounds soon:

Lockheed Martin said Thursday it has finished a 60-kilowatt laser system for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command and is preparing to hand it over to the Army for further testing. In initial tests, the company achieved 58 kilowatts of power but expects its laser to reach its full potential by the time of its delivery in the next few months.

The laser is what the company calls a “combined fiber” laser beam, bringing together individual lasers to form a single, stronger beam. Lockheed has been testing it at an installation in Bothell, Wash., and plans to ship it to an Army installation in Huntsville, Ala., in the next few months.

“We’re really at the dawn of an era of the utility of laser weapons,” said Robert Afzal, senior fellow for laser and sensor systems at Lockheed Martin. The Army’s specialized military vehicles “can now carry something which is small enough and powerful enough for what we believe will be militarily useful.”

Proponents say lasers could be cheaper than traditional munitions systems because they don’t require expensive projectiles and they don’t need to be reloaded. That could make the system useful in taking down airborne adversaries, such as off-the-shelf drones.

The idea of an off-the-shelf drone fleet commanded by a non-state entity presents new challenges for a global military establishment that has focused for centuries on war with other governments. For example, Gen. David Perkins said this week that a U.S. ally had taken down an adversary’s off-the-shelf quad-copter — which can be purchased online for a few hundred dollars — with a multimillion-dollar Patriot missile.

Mark Gunzinger, a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, said: “That’s $3 million to shoot down a three-or-four-hundred-dollar drone. . . . What if you could do that with a beam of light that costs a buck?” [snip]

Lasers “hit targets at the speed of light, they cost almost nothing per shot, and they have an almost unlimited number of times they can be used,” said Loren Thompson, chief operating officer of the nonprofit Lexington Institute, which receives funding from defense firms including Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

Terrorist creeps that use improvised explosive devices that cost a few dollars are an economic problem because the United States has to spend millions or at least thousands to counter their cheap improvisations. That might now change. A couple of cheap zaps from a laser makes killing the creeps economically doable. Drone, schmone, future wars are on their way and the U.S. is getting ready.

Hey, we have an idea. Get the gamers from high school and the pajama boys in their basements to zap zap the creeps in a video game that really kills. Talk about Enders Game, huh? Not our Enders Game, the other Enders Game.

The Navy already has a ship with lasers. Now the Army can have a 60-kilowatt laser that can be carried about and repeatedly used for a few dollars more.

Hey, North Korea creeps (and mostly China but Angela Merkel too!). You’re not dealing with Barack Hussein Obama now. It’s Trump! President Donald J. Trump!

He Tweets, and he trumps.

Enders Game: #POTUS @RealDonaldTrump’s ObamaCare Repeal Trump Card

Update: Trump in Tennessee Tonight:

Presumably, among the topics will be ObamaCare repeal and replace. President Trump might also have a few choice words for the Obama appointed federal clown in Hawaii who issued a Temporary Restraining Order on the latest executive order travel ban. The order is bad enough but the reasoning based on the Establishment Clause is entirely ridiculous. Note: before the TRO expires there might just be a new Supreme Court Justice because Neil Gorsuch gets a hearing in the Senate on Monday and maybe just maybe he will get a vote soon.

President Trump has been Trumpnado-ing through today. President Trump in Michigan spoke to automobile company workers, unions, and management. President Trump promised to unshackle the automobile industry in this country and restore it to glory. “Buy American and Hire American” said POTUS with Mostest.

POTUS Mostest Trumpest will also be on Tucker Carlson’s show tonight after an early morning of Tweeting about Rachel Maddow’s disaster Tuesday night on TrumpTaxes. Is it 2018 already?

—————————————————————————

It’s two trains running. Two trains running along two separate tracks and President Trump ready, willing, and able, to jump from Von Ryan’s Express to the TrumpTrain. President Trump is on Von Ryan’s Express on the healthcare debate for now, but it is very easy to see that President Trump has a very good grasp on the truth in this healthcare debate and might soon jump to the TrumpTrain.

Von Ryan’s Express, TrumpTrain??? There are three must understand truths about the current healthcare debate to be put into the context of everlasting truths of politics (everlasting truth such as that the prime directive for senators and congress-critters is to be re-elected).

Healthcare debate truth #1: ObamaCare is so bad it must and will be repealed and what will replace it will be much better than ObamaCare.

Healthcare debate truth #2: The current GOP public plan to replace ObamaCare is stupid and not very bright on policy and electoral grounds but the likelihood it will pass is very great because President Trump knows how to sell and for senators and House members the next election is always around the corner.

Healthcare debate truth #3: Trust President Trump on ObamaCare repeal and replace because this guy is very smart, knows what he is doing, and wants to truly repeal ObamaCare and replace it with something that provides healthcare, not merely inaccessible health insurance.

* * * * * *

Don’t trust President Trump for the reason that you are a cult member of a fan club that will excuse anything he does and will defend anything he does. Trust President Trump because he is smart, has a game plan to Make America Great Again, and will repeal/replace ObamaCare. Flim-flam con man Barack Obama was a two trains type guy too. But for Obama the two trains he hopped on were personal advancement gravy trains. Those always lead to a train wreak.

So what the Hell is President Trump up to?

On Wednesday, President Trump begins his sell pitch at a big rally. Another rally is scheduled and more are likely to come. President Trump will take to the road to sell something that is not particularly good. Yes, it is better than the ObamaCare America is oppressed by. But um, is it great? Um, no.

So what the Hell is President Trump up to?

What is President Trump up to? Well, President Trump on Von Ryan’s Express has to demonstrate he is making a good faith effort to pass the current bill the House leadership under Paul Ryan has written before Trump moves to change it. That bill is a mess on several levels but President Trump has to make a good faith effort to pass it so that he can say “I tried to pass this” just before he jumps to the TrumpTrain.

President Trump knows the mess that is the health insurance plan on Von Ryan’s Express. President Trump knows it is a mess because he is listening to the critics of the plan – critics who supported him during his election bid. Still President Trump, like a good businessman, is going forward with the Ryan express package to see how it plays out. It’s an opening bid.

Recall, how the Von Ryan Express Train tracks. It is a three phase plan. Phase I is to pass the current health insurance bill via the “Reconciliation” process. Using “reconciliation” to overcome the artificial 60 vote majority necessary to pass a bill through the Senate means that supposedly only matters of a strict budgetary nature get to be in the bill.

Phase II, is one we will discuss later.

Phase III, is the mirage that at some point the Obama Dimocrats will agree to provide the 60 vote majority necessary to pass all the really good stuff in health care reform, such as tort reform and the ability for Americans to buy insurance across state lines thereby bringing competition into the reform process.

* * * * * *

Before we return to “what the Hell is President Trump up to?” let’s deal in this section of our analysis with the dull policy stuff. Hey, it’s only life and death, not the fun stuff we like in politics. But the policy stuff does matter. If you get bored with policy, just skip this section.

What’s the problem with the Von Ryan Express plan? First and foremost, the author. Paul Ryan. Let’s all agree that Paul Ryan is a male Nancy Pelousy. That’s unfair. Paul Ryan is smart and Paul Ryan is kinda cute unlike Nancy Pelousy. But like Nancy Pelousy, Paul Ryan could not sell lemonade in August heat, shovels in winter pre-snow storm, nor life insurance on board the Titanic in it’s last hours. Indeed the more Paul Ryan talks, the more likely the Paul Ryan train goes off the tracks.

Earlier this week the Congressional Budget Office issued it’s assessment of Ryan’s health insurance scheme. Ryan began to appear on television to laud the CBO report as wonderful. Everyone else in the administration spoke with a degree of intelligence and essentially blasted the CBO report. Paul Ryan? Well, something’s not right with that boy.

Compare and contrast Paul Ryan and Newt Gingrich’s response to the CBO report:

If that’s an example of Paul Ryan “excited” we feel sorry for his wife. Paul Ryan, blue eyes aside, simply is at a par with Nancy Pelousy when it comes to believability. We don’t doubt he knows what he is talking about, but his interest appears to be to demonstrate he knows what he is talking about instead of convincing the public that he is telling the truth. Something is just not right with that boy, the way he talks and talks a little too fast and slippery.

Bottom line is that best message came from Newt. Even Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney made a better pitch than Ryan on the hostile Morning Joe show:

Mulvaney is right: Care is what matters, not coverage. It’s a critique we made of ObamaCare since 2009. ObamaCare fed the health insurance companies money forced from Americans via the coercive force of government but the insurance deductibles were so high many Americans could not access the insurance they paid dearly for.

Avik Roy, of Forbes Magazine, frequently agreed with points we made about ObamaCare. Avik Roy makes the case much better than Paul Ryan for why the CBO report is kinda useless and sorta good news:

Believe It Or Not, CBO’s Score Of House GOP Obamacare Replacement Is Better Than Expected

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office has estimated that 24 million fewer people will have health insurance by 2026 under the House GOP plan to replace Obamacare. That projection is unsurprising, and quite likely overstated. But what is surprising about the CBO report is the ways in which it makes the GOP bill look better than expected, and how it points to how the bill can be improved. [snip]

The first thing to know about the CBO is that it has long had problems modeling how a competitive, individual insurance market would work. This is reflected in their frequently revised estimates as to how many people would enroll in Obamacare’s insurance exchanges.

As the below chart shows, in 2010, when the Affordable Care Act was passed, CBO estimated that 21 million people would enroll in the ACA exchanges in 2016. The actual number was closer to 10 million. Even now, CBO believes that 18 to 19 million people will soon be enrolled in the exchanges, when in fact enrollment is degrading under current law, and will likely end up stabilizing at about 10 to 11 million. [snip]

This chart is relevant to our discussion of the GOP plan in two ways. First, it shows that the CBO is far from infallible; indeed, its projections of ACA exchange enrollment have been wildly off.

Second, as CBO notes in the first paragraph of its report on the AHCA, “CBO used its March 2016 baseline with adjustments for subsequently enacted legislation, which underlies the resolution, as the benchmark to measure the cost of the legislation.” That baseline is off by 7 to 8 million in future exchange enrollment; hence, the impact of the AHCA is also off by the same amount.

An even bigger problem is that the CBO has long believed that Obamacare’s individual mandate has near-magical powers to compel people to buy health insurance. There is little evidence to support this claim.

The Ryan plan, AHCA, gets mathed by Avik Roy. Roy checks out the numbers. Roy understands the CBO is a mess that does not know its ass from its mouth. The CBO has made 24 million people mistakes before. Roy has numbers upon numbers to make his case. Roy declares the CBO estimates on who loses coverage might be off by 19 million people.

Avik Roy has many prescriptions for what ails Paul Ryan’s plan. A lot of those prescriptions are tinkering with a Rube Goldberg contraption, but unfortunately America’s health care system, or rather health insurance system is a Rube Goldberg contraption.

On the fiscal front, Avik Roy has some flowers for Paul Ryan:

The bill’s arbitrary 30 percent surcharge for those who buy coverage outside of open enrollment might actually make the risk pool less stable, and ought to be replaced by a much more flexible regulatory regime.

And we haven’t even gotten to the AHCA’s profound fiscal effects. The bill would cut taxes by $1.2 trillion, and spending by $880 billion, for a net deficit reduction of $337 billion. And that’s before you take into account the macroeconomic effects that those tax cuts would have on economic growth, and thereby on greater tax revenues.

Over ensuing decades, the fiscal impact would be even greater, because the bill entails the most significant effort at entitlement reform in American history. Incoherent GOP hard-liners like Rand Paul, who claim that the AHCA is a “new entitlement,” are displaying their unseriousness about a bill that reduces federal spending by more than $2 trillion over the next 20 years.

With all this wonderfulness, why so much upset? Here’s InsureBlog:

Republicans’ latest attempt to change Obamacare is nothing more than misdirection. It replaces “subsidies” with “tax credits”, continues Medicaid expansion until an election year (when nothing gets done), and keeps the most costly items such as guaranteed issue, community rating, and no pre-existing conditions exclusion in place.

It eliminates the individual mandate and creates a new continuous coverage rule allowing insurers to charge 30% higher premiums for up to 12 months to those who have a break in insurance coverage greater than 63 days. The new rule, like the mandate tax, has no teeth.

Speaking of taxes, it eliminates almost $600 million over ten years – which is a good thing. Except for the fact that over half of that amount does nothing to reduce or influence costs of health care or health insurance. More than half ($275 million) is going back to high income earners who are currently paying more in taxes for Medicare and investment income. We should also note these two taxes aren’t indexed so as incomes rise more of us would pay these over time.

For Medicaid, it would roll back the enhanced matching rate for the expansion population. This has serious implications for states who fell hook, line, and sinker for the bait of government funding that they knew wasn’t financially sustainable. [snip]

We should have known this was going to be a poo-poo platter. Anything short of full repeal – which takes 60 senators to accomplish – is nothing more than lip service.

Yikes! That’s a scorcher. They’re not alone. Here’s Senator Tom Cotton interviewed by Hugh Hewitt:

HH: So what can be done? I’ve talked to the Speaker, I’ve got to the Leader. I’ve talked to Cathy McMorris Rodgers is on today, Mick Mulvaney, Tom Price. They all say it’s a three-step dance because of the Senate reconciliation rule. So you know those rules. Working within the rules, how can the Senate improve its bill, or how can the House send to the Senate a bill that fits within the guardrails of reconciliation and allows for 51 votes that improves the individual market?

TC: Hugh, there is no three-phase process. There is no three-step plan. That is just political talk. It’s just politicians engaging in spin. This is why. Step one is a bill that can pass with 51 votes in the Senate. That’s what we’re working on right now. Step two, as yet unwritten regulations by Tom Price, which is going to be subject to court challenge, and therefore, perhaps the whims of the most liberal judge in America. But step three, some mythical legislation in the future that is going to garner Democratic support and help us get over 60 votes in the Senate. If we had those Democratic votes, we wouldn’t need three steps. We would just be doing that right now on this legislation altogether. That’s why it’s so important that we get this legislation right, because there is no step three. And step two is not completely under our control.

And there’s the rub. Are there three steps? Is there only a two-step? Is there only one step?

* * * * * *

So, what the Hell is President Trump up to? Is President Trump doing a three step waltz, a lively little country two-step, or the singular Trump stomp? Got a dance card?

President Trump has more than a dance card. President Trump has a Trump card, or two.

Trump hating CNN knows President Trump has a Trump card:

In an Oval Office meeting featuring leaders of conservative groups that already lining up against House Republicans’ plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, President Donald Trump revealed his plan in the event the GOP effort doesn’t succeed: Allow Obamacare to fail and let Democrats take the blame, sources at the gathering told CNN.

In his meetings with conservative leaders President Trump has repeatedly declared that he is open to negotiations. The Medicaid funding provision until 2020? That might be hauled to 2018. The “tax credits” for lower income people some see as subsidies? That might be a tougher negotiation because former Freedom Caucus member Mike Mulvaney wants that to stay.

Mike Mulvaney now works for President Trump but he has lots of credibility with his former Freedom Caucus members, who are the fiercest critics of the Ryan plan. But any negotiations with “conservatives” might lead to trouble with “moderates”:

In addition to Medicaid changes, some White House officials are also pushing for the inclusion of provisions making it easier to buy health care across state lines. Senate budget rules, however, bar the upper chamber from including on a fast-tracked bill any provisions that don’t have a significant budgetary effect.

Rep. Dave Brat on Monday told POLITICO conservatives were asking the White House to back these kinds of free-market provisions. The Virginia Republican said the Freedom Caucus is also encouraging Trump officials to press for provisions that would enact into law any deregulations Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price plans to make administratively for the insurance market.

“Trump ran on this competition across state lines, bringing the price down, and so, that is the huge piece that, I think, if we can get that in the bill, then I think we can make some progress and I think get a lot of people to yes,” Brat said.

So while GOP leaders, including Speaker Paul Ryan, adamantly support the idea of allowing people to purchase insurance across state lines, they don’t think it can be included on the replacement bill under Senate rules. [snip]

The manager’s amendments are likely to bring additional savings, according to the White House officials, and would help the plan get through the House, where the Freedom Caucus has lined up opposition against the plan. But it would likely make passage in the Senate more difficult, several Capitol Hill officials said. That’s because many Senate Republicans — and more than a few House GOP lawmakers — hail from states that took the Medicaid expansion, and they’re unlikely to support a quick phase-out of the expanded program. [snip]

Leadership sources, however, have not ruled out changes to the bill altogether, and many senior House GOP sources believe there might be a manager’s amendment. But they have to ensure the changes will get several conservatives to “yes” if it’s actually made, while maintaining moderate Republican support. They can only afford to lose 21 Republican votes.

Oy vey! What a mess. Game over! Nothing can save this. It’s over for Trump, again. Well, there are some Trump cards still left to be played.

Remember “Phase II”? Phase I is the reconciliation process to pass the turd. Phase III is the delusion of goodies at the end of the road. But we never discussed Phase II. Phase II is the Trump card no matter what happens in Phase I. With Phase II, President Trump can force reality onto everybody as the 2018 elections draw close, ever closer every day. Phase II is the Trump card:

How Trump can use Obamacare to kill Obamacare
The same executive authority the Obama administration used to implement the law may now be used to dismantle it. [snip]

“For me, it’s a mix of irony and schadenfreude,” says Josh Blackman, a law professor who’s written two books that criticized the Obama administration’s implementation of the law. “I’ve warned for years that, with a new president in the White House, the exact same powers could be used for different purposes. That’s what we’re seeing now, to a T.

Trump’s order, which encourages Health and Human Services, the IRS and other agencies to work toward dismantling the ACA, doesn’t confer any new powers on the executive branch. But Trump explicitly instructs his agencies to use their existing powers to weaken the law “to the maximum extent permitted by law,” regardless of congressional action to repeal it.

That could be devastating to Obamacare because the Obama administration relied on its executive authority to set up the law.

Its implementation depended critically — and depends critically — on rules and guidance that HHS and other agencies have put out,” says Nicholas Bagley, a University of Michigan law professor who supports the ACA. “There are literally thousands of decisions that had to be made” by the administration — and “any decision that the Obama administration had the discretion to make, in principle, the Trump administration can revisit.”

A big, complex law always requires a lot of the details to be filled in through regulation, but that was particularly true of Obamacare. [snip]

Many of the law’s most controversial elements, like which Americans would be exempt from the mandate requiring most Americans to purchase insurance coverage, were administration decisions. Obama’s HHS secretary was also empowered to flesh out the important details about the benefits that Obamacare insurance plans were required to cover, from mental health to maternity care. Even Healthcare.gov — the much-maligned website that turned into the linchpin of Obamacare enrollment efforts — was built out through executive authority.

The vast, and at times, legally questionable decisions undertaken by the Obama administration may also set precedent for the Trump administration to do the exact same thing. Both Blackman and Bagley agree the administration’s 2013 decision to delay Obamacare’s employer mandate was unlawful; House Republicans even sued, although their challenge was thrown out in court. Trump could now cite that delay as precedent for declining to enforce provisions that he dislikes.

The Trump administration could also issue a slew of waivers to exempt Americans from the ACA’s individual mandate — although the Obama administration already broadened those exemptions in 2013, after the political outcry from Americans whose plans were canceled because they didn’t meet Obamacare criteria.

The “‘like it, keep it’ fiasco” set a precedent for Trump too, says Bagley.

At the time, the administration said it would give hardship waivers to Americans who had difficulties paying for coverage under the ACA. But “if you define the hardship as that, then every American is facing higher premiums because of the ACA, one way or another,” says Blackman. “Obamacare is itself the hardship.”

House Republicans also sued and won an initial ruling over the Obama administration’s payments to subsidize health care costs such as co-pays and deductibles for Obamacare enrollees under a certain income level. A federal court agreed the funds were illegally appropriated; the Obama administration appealed that decision. But Trump could discontinue the appeal, and hold that over Democrats in negotiations to replace the law: If he chooses to discontinue those payments, health insurers — which would be on the hook for those payments even if the government funding dried up — would probably flee the markets or jack up prices next year. Millions of ACA customers would likely see their premiums spike and their plans become unaffordable.

“If Trump were to stop the cost-sharing payments, he could send the individual insurance markets into an immediate tailspin,” says Bagley. “It would be an extraordinary hit.”

So what do we think happens? What are the Trump cards?

We believe that Phase I, amended by a managers amendment that will improve the bill, will pass the House and Senate because failure to do so would threaten the reelection of too many Republicans (and Dims in red states too). So the Republican opposition to Phase I in both the House and Senate will fail and Phase I of repeal/replace will happen.

There is another Trump card to play: blow up the filibuster and pass whatever you want with 51 votes in the Senate. Better to blow up the soon to be destroyed filibuster in year one of Trump than year 4 or 8. The sooner the better.

But if you want to keep your filibuster you can keep your filibuster – although there is another Trump card to play:

“Under the Budget Act of 1974, which is what governs reconciliation, it is the presiding officer, the vice president of the United States, who rules on what’s permissible on reconciliation and what is not. [snip]

Cruz said this process would allow Republicans to include a number of provisions that would make the health care reform bill much more attractive to conservatives.

For example, Cruz notes that Republicans could “repeal all of the insurance regulations in Obamacare that have increased premiums,” in particular one that decreased competition by preventing insurers from selling across state lines.

Any more Trump cards? Well, under immigration reform President Trump could invite doctors and medical professionals from around the world to come to America and bring down costs. You know that ol’ law of supply and demand.

As Rahm Emanuel said to Barack Obama “never let a good crisis go to waste.”

President Trump has a lot of Trump cards to play.

Ragnarök: Trump Day 50 Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, And The Dim-Out Bluexit

Was today a national holiday? It should be. Not only did today confirm candidate Trump kept his promise to bring back jobs, jobs, jobs, – we also lived to see one of the great comic capitulations of world history.

As usual we will forgo the important news in favor of the comedy. Ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages we hereby reference unto you “Bluexit”. Bluexit? It’s a long article at New Republic, the bastion of self-hating white boys, wherein someone who considers himself a serious writer and thinker typewrites some truly funny comedy material. Consider this sentence from “Bluexit”: It seems clear now that only the personal integrity, wit, eloquence, and thoroughly lovable family of Barack Obama kept the Democratic Party stumbling along, gut-shot, for this long. Comedy gold!

The premise of “Bluexit” is that the “blue” states should exit the United States because the “red” states that voted for President Donald J. Trump have won the battle for the future. The comedy of “Bluexit” declares that the blue states contribute so much wealth to the nation that the red states would collapse without the wonderful minds, tolerance, and cultural creatives that inhabit the blue states. “Bluexit” would allow those tolerant culturally creative minds to create a blue heaven here on earth once they separate from the horrible working class people that inhabit the red states.

Such tolerance! Such humility and modesty! Such brilliance!

The “Bluexit” article does understand the debacle that now confronts the losers of the last election. Here are some choice sentences of capitulation to the Trump vast victory:

BLUEXIT

A MODEST PROPOSAL FOR SEPARATING BLUE STATES FROM RED [snip]

We give up. You win. [snip]

We’ll turn Blue America into a world-class incubator for progressive programs and policies, a laboratory for a guaranteed income and a high-speed public rail system and free public universities. We’ll focus on getting our own house in order, while yours falls into disrepair and ruin.

In short, we’ll take our arrogant, cosmopolitan, liberal-elite football—wait, make that soccer ball—and go home.

Shocking as your electoral victory felt to us in Blue America, we should have seen it coming. To paraphrase Virgil “the Turk” Sollozzo from The Godfather, the Democrats, with all due respect, had been slipping. Twenty years ago, could any organization as stone-cold crazy as the Tea Party have gotten to them? The staggering defeats that Democrats sustained, at every level of government, in the midterm elections of 1994, 2010, and 2014 have now reduced them to the largely impotent, makeshift, regional party they were from the Civil War all the way to the Great Depression.

That string of unrelenting electoral catastrophes should have tipped us off that there was something deeply, alarmingly wrong at the core of the party. Losses of that magnitude, over that period of time, are like a bright red dashboard light you’ve never noticed before that suddenly starts flashing insistently. Accompanied by a shrill beeping sound. And a voice repeating, “Warning, warning!” And a plume of smoke pouring from under your hood.

Yet the party elites drove blithely on, chatting on their cell phones about their demographic advantages and the imminent demise of the Republican Party, until the air bags had deployed, the steering wheel had come off in their hands, and the rims of their tireless wheels were grinding sparks off the curbside. At this point, there’s no retooling this burnt-out Chevy Cruze into a vehicle still capable of going coast-to-coast.

This letter is not intended as one more postmortem on what went wrong: on how the media should have done a better job, or how Hillary Clinton was a bad, bad, terribly bad candidate, the worstest candidate that ever was. Granted, it was Clintonism as a political philosophy, as practiced not only by both Clintons but also by President Obama and many others, that put the final stake in the heart of the Democratic Party as a national entity. The Clintonist project of taking the oldest and most diverse political coalition on earth—one organized around liberal economic principles that had held it together for generations—and re-centering it around conservative economic ideas and a hodgepodge of social ideas that nobody could agree on, was probably the worst political move since the Republicans tried to pretend in 1932 that the Great Depression was already over. (WASN’T THE DEPRESSION TERRIBLE? read their billboards lining the rail tracks between New York City and Washington, D.C.) It seems clear now that only the personal integrity, wit, eloquence, and thoroughly lovable family of Barack Obama kept the Democratic Party stumbling along, gut-shot, for this long.

Throughout much of the country, particularly anywhere outside a city in your Trump States, the Democratic Party barely exists anymore—and there’s not a damned thing we can do about it, at least for the moment. It will take decades of patient work and deep investment to rebuild the party and reassert its dominance in state legislatures. Richard Mellon Scaife and the Koch brothers and ALEC and other right-wing pioneers spent years in the conservative wilderness before they were able to cement their control of the nation’s political apparatus. And the demographic shifts that Democrats so patiently—and foolishly—counted on to change everything will now be stalled and undermined at every turn. A few years of Republican border and refugee policies, and we’ll be headed back to the ever-whiter America that preceded Lyndon Johnson’s 1965 immigration reforms. The federal and state judiciaries—which, thanks to this election, Republicans will now fill with far-right ideologues—will rubber-stamp every one of the voter suppression tactics the GOP currently employs, along with any new devilry that Trump and his insurgents dream up. And once the president delivers on his campaign promise to Jerry Falwell Jr. and other evangelical leaders by making it legal for churches and other nonprofit organizations to funnel tax-deductible donations directly to political candidates, we can expect a fresh Niagara of cash to pour into our elections, one that will make Citizens United look like a dry crick during climate change.

As it stands, your empire of Trump States now extends from Brownsville, Texas, to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan; from Coeur d’Alene to Key West. Future historians, if there are any, will be amazed to learn that just eight years after President Obama’s bailout of the auto industry—against the united and adamant opposition of the Republican Party—saved Michigan, Ohio, and maybe Pennsylvania from being reduced to large, smoking holes in the ground, all three of those once-blue holdouts voted to join Trump territory. Most of our country, at least as measured by physical terrain, has adopted your worldview. Your incessant self-pity and sense of injury on behalf of white people, and white people only. Your insistence that you remain the stronghold of “traditional values,” even as you adopt the most radical of ideas, and elect the most openly irreligious and irreverent president in our history. Your penchant for flushing any and every inconvenient truth down the memory hole of your favorite media complex, run by a gaggle of foreigners and cynics up in your hated New York.

The white child that wrote this comedy masterpiece previously wrote The Myth of the Smug Liberal In the dawn of the Trump era, there is no stereotype more lazily deployed than the condescending coastal liberal who lives in his own bubble. Into the comedy club rides Obama worship leftist numbers dude Nate Silver who today published There Really Was A Liberal Media Bubble – Groupthink produced a failure of the “wisdom of crowds” and an underestimate of Trump’s chances. Comedy gold!

In between diatribes against “bitter” white people, there is more comedy gold to be mined. The “you’ll miss me when I’m gone” juvenile temper tantrum of Bluexit is more Blue Velvet than serious political discourse. That those brilliant creative minds about to build a utopia of blue somehow missed the obvious collapse of their chosen political party is never explained by this juvenile temper tantrum disguised as a New Republic excretion.

Hey, wanna destroy California? Have California pay for the pension promises it has made but not funded. Make California fully fund the pension funds that are supposed to pay for the promises the state has made to its workers and the state of California would collapse insolvent. Just look to Detroit and that collapse of that city which used to live in the blue utopia. None of this is explained by the ‘hate whitey’ white boy that wrote this drivel.

That lonely boy that wrote that self-pitying “good-bye, I’m leaving, and you’re gonna miss me, sniff sniffle, you really are, and then you’re gonna cry and miss me, sniff sniff” included 1994 in his “analysis” to avoid the truth that it was Barack Obama that destroyed the Democratic Party. We recall in 2008 the Dims braying about how they would rule for 40 years because of their utopian golden calf.

This is just the latest self-hating white boy, like haiku writer Chris Bowers whom we wrote about in 2011, giving up on the hard work of appealing to the voters. What is the response of the Obama Dimocrat Party to the Obama authored debacle? It’s “well, bringing in a new electorate from other countries didn’t bring us victory, so let’s bring in the kids and maybe they’ll bring us the new world order we seek“:

Billionaire George Soros fuels Democrats’ push to lower voting age to 17

Yeah, that’s the ticket – bring in a new new electorate in the latest vain attempt to change reality, Dims.

What is reality? What is the single way to win? As we wrote a long time ago, Donald J. Trump’s secret sauce was jobs, jobs, jobs! Make America Work Again!

Candidate Donald J. Trump understood election 2016 was about jobs, something that eluded the New Republic white boys and Hillary2016. It was about jobs. A new study from Wesleyan of all places, blames Hillary Clinton’s loss on her lack of ads about policy. Hillary2016 offered insults against Trump, but no vision on how to bring back jobs.

Today, on day 50, the Obama Dims hit the great wall of jobs, jobs, jobs!

It’s more a promise of great things to come than a fait accompli:

“We’ve had many big announcements from CEOs,” Cohn said, basking in the “sunny” jobs numbers amid gray skies and rain in Washington. “Remember, those jobs are not in these numbers. Those jobs will come in the future — they’ll come three, six, 12 months from now. So we think there’s enormous demand for American workers built into the system.”

Spicer said the jobs report, in which the unemployment rate declined to 4.7 percent, was “great news.”

Not a bad way to start day 50 of this Administration,” Spicer tweeted at 8:57 a.m.

Manufacturing and construction jobs rose nicely. It’s a beginning that Obama derided.

The all white anti-white racists at the New Republic should “Bluexit” themselves. We also want race-baiters like Obama to Bluexit themselves. Dumbass Nate Silver can Bluexit himself. Well, a lot of people should Bluexit.

We need a national holiday to have the time to make a Bluexit list.

Obama Dims should Bluexit themselves and let decent Americans work from Day 50 onward with the POTUS with the Mostest to Make America Great Again.

#POTUS @RealDonaldTrump Does It Again: #Vault7, @Wikileaks, #ObamaGate

Update: As we write below, “if there was any death drop evidence against Donald Trump that would have finished him off, that drop dead evidence would have been dropped a few days before the election.” Rolling Stone looney Matt Taibbi, after calling President Trump a “pig” and a “menace”, pretty much says the same thing as us in his warning to Big Media:

Why the Russia Story Is a Minefield for Democrats and the Media [snip]

This is the former Director of National Intelligence telling all of us that as of 12:01 a.m. on January 20th, when he left government, the intelligence agencies had no evidence of collusion between Donald Trump’s campaign and the government of Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
Virtually all of the explosive breaking news stories on the Trump-Russia front dating back months contain some version of this same disclaimer. [snip]

In the extant case, whether the investigation involved a potential Logan Act violation, or election fraud, or whatever, the CIA, FBI, and NSA had the ability to act both before and after Donald Trump was elected. But they didn’t, and we know why, because James Clapper just told us – they didn’t have evidence to go on.

It’s an inversion of T.R. ‘speak loudly ’cause you got a little stick’. Why would the Obama Dimocrats and Big Media make such a loud noise if they got nothing? Among others, try Alinsky Rule # 9 The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”

Taibbi notes how Big Media seasons its nothing-burger with phrases such as “so far” “to date” and “as yet” to hold out Obama style false hope that someday something will be found to stop the unstoppable President Donald J. Trump.

Speaking of threats and our call for a “Truth Commission” our newly minted Attorney General Jeff Sessions has a doozy – Attorney General Jeff Sessions suggested Thursday that he would be open to the appointment of an outside counsel to review actions taken by the Justice Department during the Obama administration. Ay Caramba!

Speaking of Truth Commissions, Obama, and threats:

Yeah, we know it’s years old. But you want to stir sh*t up Barack? Hows yo mama?

—————————————————–

It’s over for Trump, again. This time, with a Twitter Tweet barrage, the POTUS with the Mostest smashed through months/years of Big Media narrative nonsense.

Imagine that!!! After years of Big Media “the Russians did it” and “Russians elected Trump” – on one Saturday morning President Mostest of all POTUSes dropped the nuke on all their prefabricated narratives. Well, you don’t have to imagine anything. Here on video is a Kook on the MSNBCnuthouse declaring that the Trump-Russians narrative never was a narrative at all:

“I don’t think any news organization actually claimed there were direct ties between the Trump campaign and Russian spies” says the MSNBCnuthouseKOOK!!! That’s exactly what they have been claiming. Of course that was before POTUS with the Mostest Trump did the schlong-kabong!!!

At TrumpHater central, Andrew McCarthy once again notices all the Big Media flippityfloppity:

While You Weren’t Looking, the Democrat–Media Election-Hacking Narrative Just Collapsed

That supposed FBI investigation of collusion with the Russians? Never mind . . . They’re in retreat now. You may have missed it amid President Trump’s startling Saturday tweet storm, the recriminations over president-on-candidate spying, and the Jeff Sessions recusal — a whirlwind weekend. But while you weren’t looking, an elaborate narrative died.

For months, the media-Democrat complex has peddled a storyline that the Putin regime in Russia hacked the U.S. presidential election. [snip]

Into this misleading “Russia hacked the election” narrative, the press and the Dems injected a second explosive allegation — or at least an explosive suspicion that they’ve wanted us to perceive as a credible allegation meriting a serious investigation. The suspicion/allegation is: Not only did Russia hack the election, but there are also enough ties between people in the Trump orbit and operatives of the Putin regime that there are grounds to believe that the Trump campaign was complicit in Russia’s hacking of the election.

Transparently, the aim is to undermine the legitimacy of Trump’s election victory.

Finally, the third prong, without the support of which the stool would collapse: the impression that the FBI has been feverishly investigating what is said to be the Trump campaign’s collusion in what is said to be the Russian hacking of the election. This reporting is designed to get you saying to yourself: “Why would there be such a zealous investigation by FBI agents — in addition to several other intelligence and law-enforcement agents — unless there really were grave reasons to believe the shocking election-hacking conspiracy narrative?”

That was the #NotMyPresident narrative pushed by Big Media. Then Trump stomped and bompped. Now the Big Media narrative is kaput:

A New York Times report perfectly illustrates the three-prong scheme. On January 19, under the alarming headline “Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry into Trump Associates,” the paper began its report as follows:

WASHINGTON — American law enforcement and intelligence agencies are examining intercepted communications and financial transactions as part of a broad investigation into possible links between Russian officials and associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump, including his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, current and former senior American officials said. The continuing counterintelligence investigation means that Mr. Trump will take the oath of office on Friday with his associates under investigation and after the intelligence agencies concluded that the Russian government had worked to help elect him. As president, Mr. Trump will oversee those agencies and have the authority to redirect or stop at least some of these efforts.

Could what’s going on be more obvious? The Times would have you believe that the Russians “worked to help elect” Trump because the intelligence agencies have said so. [snip]

After all, the underlying allegation of an election-hacking conspiracy between the Putin regime and the Trump campaign is nonsense, so there must necessarily be an innocent interpretation. And, lo and behold, the Times itself provides it — further down in the story, after all the sensational conspiracy mongering:

It is not clear whether the intercepted communications had anything to do with Mr. Trump’s campaign, or Mr. Trump himself. It is also unclear whether the inquiry has anything to do with an investigation into the hacking of the Democratic National Committee’s computers and other attempts to disrupt the elections in November.

See? It is entirely possible that the FBI and other investigative agencies are not pursuing, and have never pursued, a Trump-campaign angle on the hacking. [snip]

But the innocent interpretation, the more likely interpretation, is not what the media and Democrats have wanted us to believe.

For months, they have titillated their audience with the election-hacking conspiracy fantasy. When they cover their behinds by mentioning the possibility of innocence, it is in the fine print.

There we see, in big print, the Big Media anti-Trump “Russia Did It” #NotMyPresident narrative collapse. That alone is a great Saturday morning bit of work by POTUS with the Mostest. But President Trump did not only build a great wall of defense. President Trump has begun the onslaught offensive:

But still, the media and Democrats have always had a serious vulnerability here — one they’ve never acknowledged because they’ve been too swept away by the political success of the fantasy narrative. It is this: At a certain point, if compelling evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia to steal the election did not materialize, the much more interesting question becomes “How did the government obtain all this information that has been leaked to the media to prop up the story?”

The most plausible answer to that question: The Obama administration, through the Justice Department and the FBI, was investigating the associates of the opposition party’s presidential nominee, and perhaps even the nominee himself, during the campaign. Otherwise, what explanation can there be for all of the investigative information — much of it classified, and thus illegal to disclose — that has been funneled to the press?

Now that they’ve been called on it, the media and Democrats are gradually retreating from the investigation they’ve been touting for months as the glue for their conspiracy theory. In short, the media and Democrats have been playing with fire for months. The use of law-enforcement and national-security assets to investigate one’s political opponents during a heated election campaign has always been a potentially explosive story.

Let’s not kid ourselves: If the roles were reversed, and a Republican administration had investigated officials tied to the campaign of the Democrats’ nominee, we would be drowning in a sea of Watergate 2.0 coverage.

Well, this weekend, the potentially explosive story detonated. It happened in the now familiar way: jaw-dropping tweets by President Trump.

Now that we’re supposed to believe there was no real investigation of Trump and his campaign, what else can we conclude but that there was no real evidence of collusion between the campaign and Russia . . . which makes sense, since Russia did not actually hack the election, so the purported objective of the collusion never existed.

Poof, goes the narrative. It was obvious to those of us involved in skullduggery and politics for a long time that the Big Media narrative was bogus. If anybody stops to think, it becomes obvious that the Big Media collusion narrative never made any sense. Indeed, you don’t have to be an expert on anything but living to see the Big Media narrative against Trump never made any sense because it was all bluster and threats of something/anything to come.

Consider the usual possibilities in life. Teddy Roosevelt laid it out quite well in his “speak softly but carry a big stick” declaration. That’s another way of saying “you don’t have to make threats if you’ve got a nuke”.

Picture yourself in a dark alley with a bunch of muggers. The muggers don’t have to make threats. You’re going to hand over your wallets, purses, jewelry, watches, everything without the muggers having to make a threat. The opposite is a scrawny kid that comes up to you in a mall and says “give me your money or else!” You look at the scrawny kid and say “or else what you shrimp? go away or I will beat the sh*t out of you.” Put that scenario into the context of the 2016 political season.

All throughout the 2016 campaign season we heard Big Media declare that Trump would collapse. There were too many secrets, too many problems, too many of something or other that would bring Trump down. But those all turned out to be empty threats. And, there’s a life lesson here, opponents don’t bother with threats if they can stomp you out. Every comic book supervillain knows you don’t give a big speech before you kill the hero – you just kill the hero if you can. Threats are for losers.

In short, if there was any death drop evidence against Donald Trump that would have finished him off, that drop dead evidence would have been dropped a few days before the election. Instead all we got was noise, noise and threats. But the threats never became real. That’s the clue there was no there there.

The biggest real threat to candidate Trump dropped just before the election. It was the video of Trump with Billy Bush. Trump overcame that.

Then on the night before the election, Trump hater Louise Mensch published a story on Heat Street:

EXCLUSIVE: FBI ‘Granted FISA Warrant’ Covering Trump Camp’s Ties To Russia

That story on Heat Street dropped on election eve, November 7 at 10:18 p.m. The now completely discredited narrative article did not have much of an impact because it came too too late and mostly because Lousy Mensch had long been exposed as a Hillary2016 conspirator – by Wikileaks. Lousy Mensch wrote ads for Hillary2016 a few weeks earlier:

Lousy Mensch wilted at Heat Street.

Today, Wikileaks struck again. Wikileaks opened Vault 7. For our purposes here is the stunner:

Another profound revelation is that the CIA can engage in “false flag” cyberattacks which portray Russia as the assailant. Discussing the CIA’s Remote Devices Branch’s UMBRAGE group, Wikileaks’ source notes that it “collects and maintains a substantial library of attack techniques ‘stolen’ from malware produced in other states including the Russian Federation.

“With UMBRAGE and related projects the CIA cannot only increase its total number of attack types but also misdirect attribution by leaving behind the “fingerprints” of the groups that the attack techniques were stolen from. UMBRAGE components cover keyloggers, password collection, webcam capture, data destruction, persistence, privilege escalation, stealth, anti-virus (PSP) avoidance and survey techniques.”

As Kim Dotcom summarizes this finding, “CIA uses techniques to make cyber attacks look like they originated from enemy state. It turns DNC/Russia hack allegation by CIA into a JOKE

A total joke. Whatever remained of the “Russia did it” nonsense is now gone. Maybe Big Media will try “the CIA did it” but that won’t happen because that would only prove President Trump’s allegations.

There’s a lot more from WikiLeaks for those interested. Apparently there is potentially another Edward Snowden type at the agency. Apparently the CIA can “hack smartphones, computer operating systems, messenger applications and internet-connected televisions”. And for those inside the Shadow Deep State Government who plot against President Trump, some bad news:

WikiLeaks said the documents show the CIA’s ability to bypass the encryption of popular messenger applications, including WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram and Confide by hacking the smartphones they run on and collecting audio and message traffic before the applications encrypt the user’s texts.

The site said the documents also show how the CIA developed other mobile hacking technologies, including the ability to activate the camera and microphone of a target’s smartphone covertly and surreptitiously retrieve a target’s geolocation, audio and text communications.

WikiLeaks said one of the documents also shows how the CIA developed a program to hack internet-connected televisions in conjunction with British intelligence. The attacks can place Samsung smart TVs in a fake off mode, so the owner believes the television is switched off, while in reality it is functioning as a bug and recording conversations in the room, WikiLeaks said.

All those EPA and DOJ plotters against President Trump are now on notice that their secret Snapchats and Confides are grabbed.

President Trump will have to take control of this monster. “That’s something that Nazi Germany would have done and did.”

Add to all that an NSA Whistleblower who declaresI think the president is absolutely right. His phone calls, everything he did electronically, was being monitored.” Illegally. By Obama Watergaters. ObamaGate!!! Not for Russia ties, but to destroy Trump politically and subvert our democracy.

Senator Grassley is on the job too:

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has opened an inquiry into allegations the FBI worked with the British spy who authored a controversial opposition research dossier on President Trump during the 2016 election. [snip]

“The idea that the FBI and associates of the Clinton campaign would pay Mr. Steele to investigate the Republican nominee for President in the run-up to the election raises further questions about the FBI’s independence from politics, as well as the Obama administration’s use of law enforcement and intelligence agencies for political ends,” Grassley wrote.

“It is additionally troubling that the FBI reportedly agreed to such an arrangement given that, in January of 2017, then-Director Clapper issued a statement stating that ‘the [intelligence community] has not made any judgment that the information in this document is reliable, and we did not rely upon it in any way for our conclusions.’”

Seems like POTUS with the Mostest is making his enemies Toastest.

Imprison Obama For #ObamaGate #Wiretap And Other Horrors – What Did Obama Know, And When Did Obama Know It?

Joy! Americans finally have the battle we needed. Finally, after lots of tactical kisses and hugs of gangster Obama, President Donald J. Trump called out the stink named Barack Obama.

Now, finally, the proxy wars are over. That Trump v. Hillary nonsense is over. Hillary Clinton turned herself into Obama’s bitch, Obama’s whore, the moment she sought to win election as the “Obama Third Term”. Trump went after Hillary. But left mostly unscathed – Obama. Yet it was and is Obama, his works, and his gangster henchmen, that Donald J. Trump must confront and destroy if Trump is ever to Make America Great Again.

* * * * * *

In South Africa after the era of Apartheid there was a “truth commission” to uncover the hidden past. America desperately needs a Truth Commission to investigate the crimes of Barack Obama and his gangster government.

Did you hear the story of the three brothers? This is not a tale from Beadle the Bard heard for the first time by Harry Potter. This is a story mostly ignored by Big Media which requires a Truth Commission to investigate and air fully before the public:

Three brothers who managed office information technology for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and other lawmakers were abruptly relieved of their duties on suspicion that they accessed congressional computers without permission.

Brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan were barred from computer networks at the House of Representatives Thursday, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

Three members of the intelligence panel and five members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs were among the dozens of members who employed the suspects on a shared basis. The two committees deal with many of the nation’s most sensitive issues and documents, including those related to the war on terrorism.

Also among those whose computer systems may have been compromised is Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Florida Democrat who was previously the target of a disastrous email hack when she served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 campaign.

The brothers are suspected of serious violations, including accessing members’ computer networks without their knowledge and stealing equipment from Congress.

Jamal handled IT for Rep. Joaquin Castro, a Texas Democrat who serves on both the intelligence and foreign affairs panels. [snip]

Jamal also worked for Louisiana Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond, who is on the Committee on Homeland Security.

Imran worked for Reps. Andre Carson, an Indiana Democrat, and Jackie Speier, a California Democrat. Both are members of the intelligence committee, and their spokesmen did not respond to TheDCNF’s requests for comment. [snip]

Then-Rep. Tammy Duckworth, an Illinois Democrat, employed Abid for IT work in 2016. She was a member of House committees dealing with the armed services, oversight, and Benghazi. Duckworth was elected to the Senate in November, 2016. Abid has a prior criminal record and a bankruptcy.

Abid also worked for Rep. Lois Frankel, a Florida Democrat who is member of the foreign affairs committee. [snip]

Abid, Imran and Jamal have all shared a house in Lorton, Virginia, that is owned by Hina R. Alvi. Alvi is a female House IT employee who works for many of the same members as the three brothers, as well as the House Democratic Caucus.

The three brothers have been involved in crimes, “multiple lawsuits”, “multiple mortgages”, and other dubious financial activity. The three Muslim brothers, one of whom is 22 years of age and began work in the House of Representatives when he was 20, somehow survived the supposedly onerous background checks that jobs which involve the national security require.

The three brothers could easily have sold top secret information for cash. Not that they needed it if they were legitimate normal workers. The 20 year old for instance was paid $160,000 a year (three times the average for IT staff). Abid got $161,000 and Imran scored $165,000.

We need a Truth Commission!

It gets worse, the more we look into the Pakistani brothers:

Rogue congressional staffers took $100,000 from an Iraqi politician while they had administrator-level access to the House of Representatives’ computer network, according to court documents examined by The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group.

The money was a loan from Dr. Ali al-Attar, an Iraqi political figure, and was funneled through a company with “impossible”-to-decipher financial transactions that the congressional information technology (IT) staffers controlled. [snip]

Investigators found that congressional information was being copied to an off-site server and they suspect the brothers of improperly accessing information and stealing congressional property. [snip]

Soon after Imran began working for members of Congress, Imran’s and Abid’s wives — Hina Alvi and Natalia Sova — also began receiving congressional paychecks, TheDCNF found. Imran’s employers included two members of the intelligence committee, Indiana Democrat Rep. Andre Carson and California Democrat Rep. Jackie Speier.

By 2009, the family was simultaneously managing a full-time car dealership in Virginia, with Abid running day-to-day operations after contributing $250,000 in startup cash. It was called Cars International A, LLC, referred to as “CIA” in court documents.

Imran boasted unusual clout among House Democrats, and was even pictured conversing with former President Bill Clinton. After Rao Abbas, who was owed money by the dealership, threatened to sue amid allegations of deception and theft, Abbas appeared on the congressional payroll and received $250,000 in taxpayer payments.

They attended car auctions during the week while they were supposedly working at the nation’s Capitol for Obama Dimocrats. They did not pay their debts, according to court records, even though their combined salaries added up to over half a million dollars a year.

Did the three brother leak the DNC emails, not the Russians, as has so often been claimed by Barack Obama thugs who seek to protect their Muslim friends and blame Russia as their favored distraction? Did anyone stop to think that young Muslim brothers, their wives, and assorted Muslim friends, with dubious backgrounds and financial schemes, might be a problem to our national security? We need a Truth Commission.

It was Obama Dimocrats in the House that employed the three Muslim brothers. It is the Obama Dimocrats that thus far Big Media won’t discuss. It is Obama Dimocrats that thus far have escaped investigation. Why did Obama Dimocrats hire these dubious characters? Why did it take Obama Dimocrats so long to fire the three brothers after their activities became known? We need a Truth Commission, there’s a national security swamp to drain:

A MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD SECURITY BREACH IN CONGRESS

There’s a national security risk swamp to drain.

Last year, eight members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence issued a demand that their staffers be granted access to top secret classified information.

The signatories to the letter were Andre Carson, Luis Guiterez, Jim Himes, Terri Sewell, Jackie Speier, Mike Quigley, Eric Swalwell and Patrick Murphy. All the signatories were Democrats. Some had a history of attempting to undermine national security.

Two of them have been linked to an emerging security breach.

The office of Andre Carson, the second Muslim in Congress, had employed Imran Awan. As did the offices of Jackie Speier and Debbie Wasserman Schultz; to whom the letter had been addressed.

Imran Awan and his two brothers, Jamal and Abid, are at the center of an investigation that deals with, among other things, allegations of illegal access. [snip]

Jamal was also employed by Cedric Richmond’s office. Richmond sits on the Committee on Homeland Security and on its Terrorism and Cybersecurity subcommittee. He is a ranking member of the latter subcommittee. [snip]

Carson is the second Muslim in Congress and the first Muslim on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and, more critically, is the ranking member on its Emerging Threats Subcommittee. He is also a member of the Department of Defense Intelligence and Overhead Architecture Subcommittee.

The Emerging Threats Subcommittee, of which Carson is a ranking member, is responsible for much of counterterrorism oversight. It is the worst possible place for a man with Carson’s credentials. [snip]

Islamists have funded Carson’s career to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. [snip]

Andre Carson shared the stage at a CAIR banquet with Sirraj Wahaj: an unindicted co-conspirator in the World Trade Center bombing who had once declared,” You don’t get involved in politics because it’s the American thing to do. You get involved in politics because politics are a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.” CAIR itself had been named an unindicted co-conspirator in terror finance. [snip]

Why were the Awan brothers, one of whom had a criminal record, even allowed to work in such a sensitive position? How did the personnel suspected in this case pass background checks? And was any classified information compromised as a result of these alleged breaches? [snip]

Congressional Republicans must take the lead in cleaning house. If they cannot do so, President Trump must step in. [snip]

The swamp that allowed Andre Carson and the Awan brothers inappropriate access must be drained.

To distract from the Muslim threats inside the American capital building aided and abetted by Obama Dimocrats every device of distraction has been deployed. Big Media ignores the Muslim Brother-hoods inside the highest level of American government and concocts wild schemes about Russia at every turn. Thanks to the canny and strong President Trump the schemes and plots will only serve to highlight the threats to America.

* * * * * *

Yesterday, Big Media was consumed in outrage because once again President Trump spoke the truth. At first we did not think much of the feigned outrage because the allegations by President Trump are all so obviously true. The only thing that surprised us about what President Trump wrote is why it took so long to state. President Trump finally confronted gangster Barack Obama with what is glaringly true and Big Media went nuts. First there were the President Trump Tweets:

President Donald Trump on Saturday accused Barack Obama of tapping his phones during last year’s White House campaign, charges that his predecessor denied as “simply false.”

I’d bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election!” Trump wrote on Twitter, without providing evidence of the explosive charge.

How low has President Obama gone to tapp (sic) my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!” he wrote in another tweet, referring to the political scandal that toppled president Richard Nixon in 1974. [snip]

The two men initially adopted a cordial tone as Trump took office, though the president has stepped up accusations against Obama in recent weeks, blaming his predecessor for being behind damaging leaks to journalists. [snip]

Trump, who has accused his political foes of conducting “a total witch hunt,” on Saturday directed his Twitter tirade at his Democratic predecessor.

Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found,” Trump wrote a day after departing Washington for a weekend getaway at his Mar-a-Lago Florida resort for the fourth time in five weeks.

The president compared the alleged action to Senator Joe McCarthy’s campaign in the 1950s to root out supposed Communists and sympathizers, which was marked by innuendo and abusive investigations.

Is it legal for a sitting President to be ‘wire tapping’ a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!” Trump said, again providing no proof of Obama’s supposed efforts to seek a court order to spy on the then-candidate.

Big Media pretended to be shocked. But President Trump’s allegations are clearly true. There was surveillance of the Trump campaign which Obama had to know about if not directly approve or initiate.
Trump hater Mark Levin laid out the evidence for why everything President Trump accused gangster Barack Obama of is true:

We recall last summer when Big Media reports about computers in Trump Tower tied to Russian intelligence blasted across the airwaves. The reports collapsed in face of reality. We remember that all too well. Yet somehow Big Media forgot last summer. Fortunately Mark Levin mapped out the timeline:

Levin called Obama’s effort “police state” tactics, and suggested that Obama’s actions, rather than conspiracy theories about alleged Russian interference in the presidential election to help Trump, should be the target of congressional investigation.

Drawing on sources including the New York Times and the Washington Post, Levin described the case against Obama so far, based on what is already publicly known. The following is an expanded version of that case, including events that Levin did not mention specifically but are important to the overall timeline.

1. June 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration files a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers. The request, uncharacteristically, is denied. [snip]

4. October: FISA request. The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services. [snip]

6. January: Obama expands NSA sharing. As Michael Walsh later notes, and as the New York Times reports, the outgoing Obama administration “expanded the power of the National Security Agency to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies before applying privacy protections.” The new powers, and reduced protections, could make it easier for intelligence on private citizens to be circulated improperly or leaked.

7. January: Times report. The New York Times reports, on the eve of Inauguration Day, that several agencies — the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Treasury Department are monitoring several associates of the Trump campaign suspected of Russian ties. Other news outlets also report the exisentence of “a multiagency working group to coordinate investigations across the government,” though it is unclear how they found out, since the investigations would have been secret and involved classified information.

8. February: Mike Flynn scandal. Reports emerge that the FBI intercepted a conversation in 2016 between future National Security Adviser Michael Flynn — then a private citizen — and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. The intercept supposedly was part of routine spying on the ambassador, not monitoring of the Trump campaign. The FBI transcripts reportedly show the two discussing Obama’s newly-imposed sanctions on Russia, though Flynn earlier denied discussing them. Sally Yates, whom Trump would later fire as acting Attorney General for insubordination, is involved in the investigation. In the end, Flynn resigns over having misled Vice President Mike Pence (perhaps inadvertently) about the content of the conversation.

9. February: Times claims extensive Russian contacts. The New York Times cites “four current and former American officials” in reporting that the Trump campaign had “repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials. The Trump campaign denies the claims — and the Times admits that there is “no evidence” of coordination between the campaign and the Russians. The White House and some congressional Republicans begin to raise questions about illegal intelligence leaks. [snip]

In summary: the Obama administration sought, and eventually obtained, authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign; continued monitoring the Trump team even when no evidence of wrongdoing was found; then relaxed the NSA rules to allow evidence to be shared widely within the government, virtually ensuring that the information, including the conversations of private citizens, would be leaked to the media.

Levin called the effort a “silent coup” by the Obama administration and demanded that it be investigated.

What President Trump wrote in his Tweets is entirely true and unsurprising, no matter what corrupt liars such as James Clapper say.

We recall how this very past week, the New York Times thoroughtly enjoyed Obama’s dirty campaign against President Trump:

New York Times Details How Obama Administration SABOTAGED Trump

In yet another lengthy hit-piece constructed around accusations from unnamed sources, innuendo, and repetition of previous unconfirmed allegations, the New York Times details (and celebrates) the Obama administration deliberately trying to sabotage the incoming president by disseminating intelligence information throughout the federal government, as well as to foreign governments.

In laudatory terms, the Times describes the way in which the outgoing administration “scrambled to spread” potentially damaging information related to possible nefarious contact between Trump and his associates and the Russians, despite having no concrete evidence about the content of any of the alleged contact. [snip]

In the Obama administration’s last days, some White House officials scrambled to spread information about Russian efforts to undermine the presidential election — and about possible contacts between associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump and Russians — across the government. Former American officials say they had two aims: to ensure that such meddling isn’t duplicated in future American or European elections, and to leave a clear trail of intelligence for government investigators.

The Times explains that the Obama operatives deliberately attempted to keep the information at “relatively low classification level[s]” by processing the raw intelligence into analyses designed to have “as wide a readership as possible.”

The aim by Obama, via the New York Times was to leak this misinformation to American allies. But even the New York Times admitted there was no evidence of wrongdoing – by Trump.

This was all pretty much accepted conventional wisdom by anyone watching this Russia crap. It was obvious that there was some dirty surveillance of the Trump campaign by Obama using some fairly dirty pretexts to justify undermining an American election. This was all obvious. We recall a few weeks ago the story about Obama scheming to sabotage Trump:

How Obama is scheming to sabotage Trump’s presidency

When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House. [snip]

He’s doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action.

It’s not much of a leap to see that Obama’s attempts to sabotage President Trump started shortly after President Trump’s glorious victory in November. At the time Barack Obama occupied the White House and it was there the stories about Russia and Trump came to creation:

New York Times: Obama Set Up Anti-Trump Russia Conspiracy Theory

Barack Obama used his remaining days in office to fabricate a Russia conspiracy and NYT spins it as an attempt to get the truth out.

Of course, rather than admit the creation of an anti-Trump Russia conspiracy theory, the New York Times headline claims Obama and his minions “Rushed to Preserve Intelligence of Russian Election Hacking.” Notice that they don’t claim anyone rushed to preserve evidence of such hacking, because then they would have to explain why it disappeared. There was nothing to preserve but allegations. [snip]

In other words, this misinformation campaign wasn’t only from rogue anonymous intelligence bureaucrats. It was from Obama himself—at the same time he was pushing BS clichés about how a “democracy” was able to enact a “peaceful transition of power” he was arranging for the CIA coup.

Barack Obama denies it all in a non-denial denial statement. But the denials are blatantly false. As noted in a comprehensive article at ZeroHedge, the denials fall flat courtesy of Obama’s fratboy Jon Favreau:

According to Favreau, the only thing that Obama is really denying is that he ordered the attack on our elections, but clearly the attack took place. And can anyone doubt that Obama henchmen did what Obama wanted? Of course not. This was a political attack on a presidential campaign orchestrated by the White House.

Barack Obama’s latest non-denial denial denies reality.

There are consequences to what Barack Obama has done for the nation and for the gangsters:

Yes, There Could Be Serious Legal Problems if Obama Admin Involved in Illegal Surveillance [snip]

President Trump recently tweeted claiming that former President Obama wiretapped him during his campaign. One can only imagine how nuts the media would have gone if the roles had been reversed: President Trump wiretapping either Obama or the Clintons, though his DOJ could have authority to do just that given the expansive leaks of intelligence information by Obama and Clinton supporters the last few months. Heck, he could wiretap the media at this point, legally and legitimately, as the sources of these unlawful leaks, for which Obama himself set precedent. Do liberals understand what Pandora’s Box Obama opened up by Obama using the powers of the NSA, CIA and FBI to spy on his political opponents? Even Nixon never did that.

If the stories are correct, Obama or his officials might even face prosecution. [snip]

FISA can only be used for “foreign intelligence information.” Now that sounds broad, but is in fact very limited under the law. The only “foreign intelligence information” allowed as a basis for surveillance is information necessary to protect the United States against actual or potential “grave” “hostile” attack, war-like sabotage or international terror. Second, it can only be used to eavesdrop on conversations where the parties to the conversation are a foreign power or an agent of a foreign power. An agent of a foreign power cannot be a United States person unless they are knowingly involved in criminal espionage. No warrant is allowed on that person unless a FISA court finds probable cause the United States person is knowingly engaged in criminal espionage. Even then, if it involves a United States person, special steps must be taken to “minimize the acquisition and retention, and prohibit the dissemination, of non publicly available information concerning un-consenting United States persons.”

This includes procedures that require they never identify the person, or the conversation, being surveilled, to the public where that information is not evidence of a particular crime. Third, the kind of information sought concerns solely information about a pending or actual attack on the country. That is why the law limits itself to sabotage incidents involving war, not any form or kind of “sabotage,” explicitly limiting itself to those acts identified in section 105 of Title 18 of the United States Code.

This bring us to Watergate-on-Steroids, or #ObamaGate.

That’s a long article well worth reading in its entirety. Bottom line is that even if the surveillance of the Trump campaign in any way was undertaken under legal cover, the danger to Barack Obama and Obama’s gangsters is real. This is especially true once the Sessions team is in place. And… you might not need the Sessions team if this assessment is correct:

Democrats may regret Sessions’ recusal, as his replacement is a mini-Sessions: a long-respected, a-political, highly ethical prosecutor, Dana Boente, whose reputation is well-warranted from his service at the Tax Division, and who won’t be limited by any perceived ties to Trump, given his prior appointment by Obama. Obama himself appeared scared of Boente, as he removed Boente from the successor-to-Sessions position during the lame-duck part of Obama’s presidency, but Trump restored Boente to that role earlier this month. Democrats may get the investigation they wanted, but it may be their own that end up named in the indictment.

Dana Boente rose in the ranks once Obama gangster Sally Yates was fired by President Trump.

Is President Donald J. Trump blameless in all this? No. President Trump does have questions to answer, but not the questions Big Media is asking. President Trump was and is entirely too kind and unforgiving.

President Trump should answer the question as to why the details of the Iran deal have yet to be revealed to the American public:

RELEASE THEM: Obama/Iran Nuke Deal Secrets Are NOT Classified, Just Kept From You

The leaders of the Islamic Republic are frightened. They face an American national security team that knows a lot about them, and, unlike the Obama administration, strongly dislikes them.

General Michael Flynn’s book was an underground hit in Farsi, and the quadrumvirate of Pompeo, Mattis, McMaster, and Kelly show no signs of wanting to pursue the shameful strategic alliance that Obama forged with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. On the contrary, all four stress Iran’s role as chief sponsor of international terror. All four know the ayatollahs are deadly serious when they lead chants of “Death to America.”

The Iranian leaders knew that they could get away with murder as long as Obama was in charge, and that Obama’s administration would protect large parts of the agreements between the two countries. Yet of late, we have heard Iranian officials warning us not to make public the secret elements of the nuclear “deal.” [snip]

We are entitled to ask for the release of the secret arrangements with Iran. If the citizens don’t know what Obama/Kerry/Rhodes/Jarrett agreed to, then the whole “debate” over what Trump should do with regard to Iran is essentially meaningless.

The Iranians don’t want us to know what’s in the secret-but-unclassified documents, and the Obama crowd’s apparent agreement — as usual — with Iran on this issue underlines the importance of making them public.

Recently Secretary of State Tillerson has made moves to get the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear deal so that might be part of the President Trump plan. Whatever is going on there, Americans deserve to know what Obama did and when Obama did it. We need answers.

We need lots of answers to lots of questions. Perhaps now we will get them thanks to President Trump. President Trump finally understands what he is up against. It is Barack Obama and the leftist totalitarians who seek to destroy America and now finally we might get the questions asked and the answers to those questions answered:

Trump White House Orders Investigation of Alleged Illegal Wiretapping by Obama Administration on Trump Tower

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer announced Sunday the Trump administration is requesting an investigation into the abuse of power by the Obama administration.

Sean Hannity also has questions:

We need answers.

President Donald J. Trump tried to move forward with his agenda and let Obama wallow in his misery. That was a strategic and tactical mistake. Barack Obama is a cancer on the presidency and on America. President Donald J. Trump must remove the cancer in its entirety.

The Russia nonsense? All the noise about Russia has been a way for Barack Obama to undermine President Trump.

The undisputed facts are that Russia did not influence at all the big primary election fight between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. The undisputed facts are that Hillary Clinton, because of her own personal failures and stupidity, could barely defeat an old socialist coot who wasn’t even a Democrat for the nomination of her party. Recall that Hillary Clinton could barely beat Bernie Sanders because of her defense of Barack Obama even as Bernie Sanders called for “change”. That wasn’t because of Russia. Hillary Clinton could barely defeat Bernie Sanders even though the DNC rigged the election and the debate schedule for her. That wasn’t because of Russia. Hillary Clinton could barely defeat Bernie Sanders even though Big Media helped her at every turn. That wasn’t because of Russia. Hillary Clinton could barely defeat Bernie Sanders even though scumbag Donna Brazile at CNN provided Hillary with questions to be asked at debates. That wasn’t because of Russia. Hells Bells, Hillary Clinton could barely defeat Bernie Sanders even though Bernie Sanders renounced any use of the Wikileaks revelations and those “damned emails”.

It was not because of Russia that Hillary Clinton could barely defeat socialist kook Bernie Sanders – who wasn’t even a damned Democrat running for the Dimocrat Party nomination. Hillary Clinton deserved to lose because 2016 was a change election and Hillary Clinton ran as Obama’s Third Term and ten cent whore.

Weakened by Bernie Sanders and the revelation of rigged DNC corruptions on her behalf Hillary Clinton became the DNC nominee. But Hillary Clinton was debased and trapped. Hillary Clinton could not say what was obvious to all. ObamaCare was a failure in the eyes of the public but Hillary Clinton could not say the obvious and instead it was Bill Clinton who was forced to denounce ObamaCare as “crazy” (then forced to backtrack his comments).

Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election because she rose a lame horse called Obama Third Term. It was a change election. Russia did not make it a change election. It was Obama corruption that made 2016 a change election.

Americans voted for change in 2016. Now the establishment fights back against change led by the corrupt parasite Barack Obama.

Barack Obama spent most of his life lying about his life, works, and allies. Finally the lies are catching up to him.

Thanks to President Donald J. Trump we are well on the way to finally getting the answers we need.

This is a time of great strife, but also great joy.

We citizens are about to get the answers we need if government by, of, and for, the people shall not perish from this earth.

#ResistanceToReality: The Leftist #Resist #Resistance #ResistTrump And Stop #Sessions Kooks

Update: President Donald J. Trump sees the #ResistanceToReality like we do:

Trump: Democrats Have ‘Lost Grip on Reality’ with Sessions ‘Witch Hunt’

President Donald Trump responded Thursday to the controversy surrounding Jeff Sessions, writing in a series of tweets that Democrats had “lost their grip on reality” by engaging in a “witch hunt” against the attorney general.

#ResistanceToReality is real reality, really.

—————————————————————

President Donald J. Trump has begun to #DrainTheSwamp. Therefore the denizens of the swamp fight back to preserve their sludge existence. We’re back to that old World War II Air Force aphorism, “You Know You’re Over the Target When You’re Catching Flak“.

Today it is Attorney General Jeff Sessions who now leads the Department of Justice, catching flak from the Swamp Reich. Why? Why Jeff Sessions? The Swamp Reich is fighting for its very existence:

The Obama administration funneled billions of dollars to activist organizations through a Department of Justice slush fund scheme, according to congressional investigators.

“It’s clear partisan politics played a role in the illicit actions that were made,” Rep. John Ratcliffe, R-Texas, told Fox News. “The DOJ is the last place this should have occurred.”

Findings spearheaded by the House Judiciary Committee point to a process shrouded in secrecy whereby monies were distributed to a labyrinth of nonprofit organizations involved with grass-roots activism.

Advocates for big government and progressive power are using the Justice Department to extort money from corporations,” Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton told Fox News. “It’s a shakedown. It’s corrupt, pure and simple.”

There is a recent effort by Republicans to eliminate the practice, which many believe was widely abused during the Obama administration.

Always “follow the money”. The Swamp Reich knows Attorney General Jeff Sessions will stop the slush fund which feeds the leftist Swamp. So, the Swamp strikes back.

The Swamp Reich is not just Obama Dimocrats. The #NeverTrump GOP establishment is in on the Swamp. The Swamp is a hot tub for these Obama Dimocrat leftists and the #NeverTrump haters. The thing to do is turn up the heat on the Swamp hot tub and cook them like lobsters.

President Trump knows all this, which is why at Newport News Shipbuilding today, President Trump declared his support for Attorney General Jeff Sessions is “total”. The late afternoon recusal by Attorney General Jeff Sessions puts an end to the latest kerfluffle.

As much as the Swamp Reich tries to take down President Trump and Jeff Sessions, history shows high flying Trump will continue to trump. Consider how much flak has already been fired. A new study finds that 88% of Big Media coverage of President Trump in his first thirty days has been negative.

It is not just that Big Media coverage of President Trump is negative. Consider all the coverage of President Trump which is either deceitful and/or ignores really good President Trump news. For instance, on March 1, the Politico refugees who founded Axios had a startling take on Wall Street reaction to President Trump’s speech:

Big in business: the market shrugs at Trump

Market reaction to Trump speech: A big shrug, as Trump didn’t touch details on issues like tax reform that are of most concern to investors.

The stock market on March 1, as measured by Dow Jones, rose more than 300 points. The 300 point surge was entirely attributed to President Trump and his pro growth policies. But Big Media either fails to note the shocking rise in the stock market or attributes the rocket rise to anything but President Trump’s policies. A 300 point rise. The Dow rising above 21,000 for the first time ever. But no mention of President Trump other than to say “the market shrugs at Trump“.

This is all part of the #Resistance plan. The fools who shout #Resist and #ResistTrump on unsocial media want to take down President Trump with their little plots and ploys.

None of the plots and ploys will work however. Why? Because REALITY that’s why.

The masturbating monkeys called the #Resistance want to style themselves as cinematic latter day French resistance fighters, as Katniss Everdeen of The Hunger Games, as Luke Skywalker of Star Wars. But the #ResistTrump clowns really are the last desperate defenders of a crumbling order – as the Swamp Reich collapses all around them and the Führer bunker lies in ruins – and the last acolytes of the old order flee to Argentina to hallucinate a return to power.

They are really the #ResistanceToReality.

What is reality? The reality is that President Donald J. Trump is draining the swamp and getting more and more done every day. On the last day of February President Trump delivered a magnificent speech. That’s reality:

Dow breaks above 21,000 as stocks hit all-time highs after Trump’s speech; financials lead

U.S. equities traded sharply higher on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones industrial average climbing above 21,000 for the first time, on the back of President Donald Trump’s speech to Congress.

Trump’s speech, which was delivered Tuesday night, was widely praised for its positive tone but lacked specifics about tax reform and deregulation, two key components of the market’s postelection rally.

I think this is optimism related to the speech and to optimism about the administration’s ability to push through its agenda,” said Tom Wright, director of equities at JMP Securities.

Reality is that even at the Trump hating CNN, the poll reaction to President Trump was very positive. A poll for CBS news likewise was “Viewers strongly approve of Trump’s speech to Congress.” Reality is that whether on the left or the right spectrum of Trump haters, the speech delivered by President Trump got “thumbs up”.

The reality is that President Trump has the Obama Dimocrat Party befuddled because President Trump has stolen so much of what FDR Democrats used to be:

That was just one of many uncomfortable moments for the Democrats. Often you could see the wheels turning–should we be sitting down or standing up for this one? Should we applaud? Trump has stolen so many of the Democrats’ talking points that their bewilderment is understandable.

A long time ago we wrote that Donald J. Trump has walked away with the Clinton Coalition. The Obama Dimocrats cheered as Trump stole the groups that used to be the foundation of the Democratic Party.

This week we have seen what a colossal political mistake that was. That’s reality. It’s the reality that in 2017 has come home… to roost.

Former Democrat Roger L. Simon asks “Is February 28, 2017, ‘The Night the Democratic Party Died’?”

The Democratic Party members watching that speech looked like a party of the living dead. They didn’t know how to react. They didn’t know if they were Americans. They didn’t know who they were.

Every time Trump called for bipartisanship for the good of our country, they winced. [snip]

He cut the Democrats’ legs out in the worst way, exposing them for the empty party they are with nothing going for them but identity politics. Yet, it is becoming increasingly obvious that if anyone does anything for the inner cities, it will be Trump the builder, not the Democrats who had a chance for fifty or sixty years and did nothing. Bye, bye, identity politics. No wonder Maxine Waters is so apoplectic.

Yes, Trump delivered a speech for the ages. [snip]

The question is, will history look at February 28, 2017, as “The Night the Democratic Party Died” or at the very least the beginning of the end?

Reality is, as we have written consistently since then, the Democratic Party died in 2008.

Reality is President Trump delivered a long delayed eulogy for the Democratic Party that once was. That’s reality.

Those that deny the death of the Democratic Party in Denver in 2008 or that President Trump will Make America Great Again are proving their #ResistanceToReality.

Reality always wins.
