The Miracle Called President Trump And The Salvation Of Our Republic

Update: Thursday, April 6, 2017 via President Trump can be summarized “during the day he nuked the Senate, at night he bombed Syria“. Yet some dolts don’t see the brilliance and miracle of President Trump.

Let’s quickly answer the question the dolts (Conservative Treehouse as usual does not understand complicated matters and after the Syria attack many commenters began to attack President Trump) don’t get. The dolts stupidly declared “There is ZERO motive for President Bashir Assad to weaponize chemical weapons against his people.” Um, idiots the motive for Assad, and Putin for that matter is the same motive all tin pot dictators always have: They are testing the new American president.

With every new administration come tests from foreign enemies of the United States. Why did Syria’s Assad burn his own people with chemical weapons? Because Assad and the Russians and IRAN wanted to slap President Donald J. Trump in the same way every lowlife in the world enjoyed slapping Barack Obama. Back in April 4, 2009 we wrote about the time Barack Obama was tested by America’s enemies. The dolts at the Treehouse should read our smart analysis to understand how foreign enemies test new presidents and see what smart analysis looks like: World Leaders And North Korea To Barack Obama: “Sucker”. That’s right you dolts, in April 2009 the new Obama administration was tested by North Korea. In April 2017, it is President Donald J. Trump who is tested.

How well did President Trump do on his first major test? It’s a miracle. Check out our comments section to get more details as they come in but first reactions from Big Pink were right on target:

For the record we are not in favor of military involvement in Syria. But this chemical attack was a direct challenge to President Trump to test him and see if he was as weak as Obama.

President Trump has turned lemons into lemonade. President Trump with this attack, which took place during President Xi and Trump at dinner, sends a message to China, North Korea and every adversary:I am not weak Obama. My name is Trump. Donald J. Trump!

Look at what President Trump managed to do with his first international crisis:

(1) He had a peaceful dinner with President Xi of China after he secretly ordered the calibrated attack on Syria. Before President Trump made the public announcement of the attack he politely informed President Xi. The unstated message to President Xi: “I am not Barack Hussein Obama. Tell that to the North Korean freaks you’ve been helping. If you don’t want a massive immigration crisis on your southern border get these North Korean freaks back in the circus and off the streets or I will do the job for you.” China and North Korea get the message and American allies in the region such as Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, respect the new President of the United States.

(2) Russia’s Vladimir Putin just got schlonged by testicular fortitude Trump. There goes the notion that Trump is Putin’s plant. Iran got schlonged too. You’re not dealing with Barack Hussein Obama – You’re dealing with President Donald J. Trump. Freaks. As to American allies like Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the rest, they too have respect for the new President of the United States and know that unlike Barack Hussein Obama, President Donald J. Trump is the one that does the schlonging and the slapping. The Egyptian President and the Jordanian King both of whom visited President Trump this past week must have especially wide smiles – but not as wide as the grin on Prime Minister Netanyahu.

(3) American allies world-wide, in North and South America, in the European Union, in Asia, Great Britain, everywhere know there is an American President in charge once again that they can rely on. America’s enemies world-wide know there is an American President in charge once again that they must fear and negotiate with out of respect.

(4) President Trump dealt with America’s enemies foreign and domestic. Remember, the toilet known as the U.S. Congress goes on vacation, they call it “recess”, on Friday. What will these useless goofballs do? They can no longer claim that Trump is Putin’s plant. Will they stay on the job to deal with the ramifications of President Trump’s attack on Syria? Or will these useless pieces of baggage go home and leave foreign policy to President Trump? Those that want to stay to demand President Trump do their bidding will have to confront those that want to go on vacation.

If the Congress persists and insists on vacation as their priority, President Trump can make recess appointments. If the Congress goes on vacation President Trump will continue to have a free hand on foreign policy. If the Congress decides to shock us all and stay in Washington to work, President Trump can demand they also work on ObamaCare repeal, the budget that is due and the debt ceiling. President Trump wins and wins.

As we enter the season of miracles, more miracles – via the miraculous President Donald J. Trump.

————————————————–

This week the right, left, and center, can see the amazing miracle called President Trump. It’s not just the obvious things like Gorsuch or the Jerusalem shocker. On election night and the day following the election we declared that the immense vastness of the Trump victory was immeasurable. This week we continue to try to measure the immeasurable.

Consider the Susan Rice scandal. Take a step back from the daily/hourly to-and-fro developments in that scandal which is itself but a part of the Russia nonsense from Obama Dimocrats. Can you see how miraculous this Susan Rice scandal makes the Trump election victory? Can you?

Remember all the many indisputable reasons from Big Media and the political establishment as to why Trump could never win? Remember all the many times it was declared by Big Media and the GOP and Dimocrat political establishments, along with all the economic and educational institutions of power that “it’s over for Trump”? Now add to all that what we have learned from the Susan Rice scandal. The Trump election victory becomes even more incredible, yea “miraculous” than any have previously understood.

TabletMag lays it all out. The TabletMag article was summarized in our comments section, but we recommend a full read to understand the gargantuan beast that opposed Donald J. Trump’s election, inauguration, and eventual presidency:

“At some point, the administration weaponized the NSA’s legitimate monitoring of communications of foreign officials to stay one step ahead of domestic political opponents,” says a pro-Israel political operative who was deeply involved in the day-to-day fight over the Iran Deal. “The NSA’s collections of foreigners became a means of gathering real-time intelligence on Americans engaged in perfectly legitimate political activism—activism, due to the nature of the issue, that naturally involved conversations with foreigners. We began to notice the White House was responding immediately, sometimes within 24 hours, to specific conversations we were having. At first, we thought it was a coincidence being amplified by our own paranoia. After a while, it simply became our working assumption that we were being spied on.”

This is what systematic abuse of foreign-intelligence collection for domestic political purposes looks like: Intelligence collected on Americans, lawmakers, and figures in the pro-Israel community was fed back to the Obama White House as part of its political operations. The administration got the drop on its opponents by using classified information, which it then used to draw up its own game plan to block and freeze those on the other side. And—with the help of certain journalists whose stories (and thus careers) depend on high-level access—terrorize them.

Barack Obama weaponized the intelligence gathering machine on behalf of his Iran terrorist pals. Then Barack Obama used the weaponized intelligence apparatus to target and destroy Donald J. Trump. It’s a miracle that Donald Trump survived and thrived to become President Donald J. Trump.

Fox News in 2015 reported on the Obama corruption of the intelligence apparatus in this country to benefit his Iran terrorist pals:

The sweeping up of conversations between Israeli officials and U.S. lawmakers began in earnest earlier this year, ahead of a March visit to Capitol Hill by Netanyahu to speak out against the developing Iran nuclear deal, and continued through this past September, when the deadline for Congress to block the deal passed.

The Wall Street Journal also reported on the Obama corruption of intelligence gathering for his Watergating of Iran terrorist opponents:

The U.S., pursuing a nuclear arms agreement with Iran at the time, captured communications between Mr. Netanyahu and his aides that inflamed mistrust between the two countries and planted a political minefield at home when Mr. Netanyahu later took his campaign against the deal to Capitol Hill.

The National Security Agency’s targeting of Israeli leaders and officials also swept up the contents of some of their private conversations with U.S. lawmakers and American-Jewish groups. That raised fears—an “Oh-s— moment,” one senior U.S. official said—that the executive branch would be accused of spying on Congress.

The Obama corruption of the government intelligence agencies, whose mission is to protect the Republic from foreign enemies, turned those intelligence agencies into a threat on the Republic. Barack Obama corrupted the intelligence apparatus to attack Israel and defend Iran terrorists. Then Barack Obama turned that vast apparatus against Donald J. Trump.

It is a miracle. Nothing less than a miracle. Donald J. Trump overcame all the insurmountable odds that are somewhat “normal” in a political campaign. Donald J. Trump also overcame all the corrupt insurmountable corruptions of a politicized and weaponized intelligence gathering infrastructure to become President Donald J. Trump. It is nothing less than a miracle.

As the indefatigable Catherine Herridge reports the spying on American citizens associated with Trump was total:

Reports in unmasking controversy were detailed, had info about ‘everyday lives’

The intelligence reports at the center of the Susan Rice unmasking controversy were detailed, and almost resembled a private investigator’s file, according to a Republican congressman familiar with the documents.

This is information about their everyday lives,” Rep. Peter King of New York, a member of the House Intelligence committee said. “Sort of like in a divorce case where lawyers are hired, investigators are hired just to find out what the other person is doing from morning until night and then you try to piece it together later on.” [snip]

Nunes has consistently stated that the files caused him deep concern because the unmasking went beyond the former national security adviser Mike Flynn, and the information was not related to Moscow.

Herridge details how only 20 persons are authorized to approve “unmasking” requests so eventually we will see who it was that helped Susan Rice in her corruptions. Herridge also details how unusual what Susan Rice did is by showing how very rare it is. Herridge makes it clear that the corruption of the intelligence agency started before the presidential election in 2016. Herridge quotes Trey Gowdy of the intelligence committee as saying “It would be nice to know the universe of people who have the power to unmask a U.S. citizen’s name, because that might provide something of a roadmap to investigate who might’ve actually disseminated a masked U.S. citizen’s name.

There is an “extensive government paper trail, that can be audited within the NSA, that shows who requested the unmasking, on what basis, and whether it was granted. This raises more questions about Rice, her motivation and whether it was authorized higher up, offering cover.”

Chicken littles and their ilk, not fit for foxholes in battle, will bemoan and whine about Chairman Devin Nunes recusal today from the Intelligence Committee investigation into Russia and the election. These Chicken Little types always whine that the sky is falling. But Trey Gowdy and his allies are still on the Intelligence Committee. Chairman Nunes now does not have to reveal anything to the Schiff-heads on the Committee. And the fact that Obama Dimocrats took out Chairman Nunes by filing complaints about his handling of classified information with the Ethics Committee will continue the inquiry into the corruptions by Obama and Obama thugs of classified information.

Chicken Little and her ilk of losers will not understand that it does not matter if there is a fight, what matters is that there is a fighter. Fighters win fights whether the fight is sought or comes unbidden. What matters is that President Trump is a fighter:

The Trump administration has escalated its feud with the Obama administration, creating a virtually unprecedented situation in which the current and former U.S. executive branches are openly fighting.

President Trump on Wednesday said Obama-era national security adviser Susan Rice might have committed a crime by requesting the identities of Trump associates who were incidentally swept up in surveillance, though he cited no evidence to back up his claim.

I think it’s going to be the biggest story,” Trump told The New York Times. “It’s such an important story for our country and the world. It is one of the big stories of our time.

Gowdy at the Intelligence Committee. Big Pink on the job. President Trump in a fight for the Republic.

This is a fight for the Republic. Ann Althouse makes a smart observation:

I hope Susan Rice was keeping tabs on Trump’s Russia ties.
By Michelle Goldberg at Slate.

I love the way the messaging turns on a dime.

One minute it’s ridiculous to think that the Obama administration was doing surveillance on the Trump campaign. The next minute the Obama administration was doing the right thing if it did surveillance on the Trump campaign.

The Obama Dimocrat messaging has changed. That clues you in on the true impact of the Susan Rice revelations. Before, the Obama Dimocrat claim was that spying on Trump was crazy talk from a deranged President Trump. Now, the Obama Dimocrat claim is that spying on Trump was the necessary and smart thing to do. Winner? President Donald J. Trump the Miraculous savior of the Republic.

Want more miracles? A new Gallup poll, always an unfriendly poll for Trump, makes clear that despite all the attacks on President Trump from Big Media, President Trump has won the battle against Big Media:

Six in 10 in US See Partisan Bias in News Media

62% say news media favors one political party over the other
More believe media favors Democrats than Republicans
Clear majority of Americans say media is “often inaccurate”

In a contentious political landscape, Americans increasingly believe the news media generally favors one political party over the other. Sixty-two percent of U.S. adults say the media has a favorite, up from about 50% in past years. Just 27% now say the media favors neither major party. [snip]

Gallup asked those who perceive political bias in the news media to say which party the news media favors. Almost two-thirds (64%) of those who believe the media favors a political party say it is the Democratic Party. Only about a third as many (22%) believe the media favors Republicans.

Game Over! Miraculous President Donald J. Trump has won the battle against Big Media although Big Media won’t report the news.

Think we exaggerate about the miraculous power of President Donald J. Trump? Remember all that talk about President Donald J. Trump moving the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and how that would bring on World War III? Remember how recently despite Obama Dimocrat opposition the Trump American ambassador to Israel – who advocates for moving the American embassy to Jerusalem – David Friedman was confirmed which would surely bring on World War III?

Well, David Friedman is not yet the American ambassador to Israel but there is a President Donald J. Trump miracle in Israel now that Iran pal Obama is hiding out in Polynesia. Yeah, Russia is catching up to President Trump:

Russia recognizes west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a surprise announcement on Thursday, obtained exclusively by The Jerusalem Post. [snip]

No other country in the world recognizes any part of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

The statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry reads, “We reaffirm our commitment to the UN-approved principles for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement, which include the status of East Jerusalem as the capital of the future Palestinian state. At the same time, we must state that in this context we view West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

This is a sharp shift in Russian policy, which until now has formally held that Jerusalem should eventually be under a permanent international regime. The statement appears in English on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Russian web site.

While officials in Jerusalem interpreted this to mean that recognition of west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital will only come once east Jerusalem becomes the capital of a Palestinian state, The Jerusalem Post has learned that Moscow intends this recognition to go into effect immediately.

Russia moved to President Trump’s daring position on Israel, before David Friedman could bring on “World War III” doing what Russia has done. Because of Passover holidays and the “weeklong shutdown” in Israel which starts on April 10, Trump’s approved ambassador to Israel won’t be on the job in Israel. Because of protocol decisions by the Israeli government it is likely that David Friedman will be welcomed as the American ambassador to Israel in June. But the miracle, the embassy move reason Obama Dimocrats offered to not confirm David Friedman, has already happened. Jerusalem is now recognized as the capital of Israel by Russia and the United States will soon also confirm the position of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. World War III averted. A President Donald J. Trump miracle.

Why did Russia make this startling declaration? Perhaps this was all a well-timed dance by President Trump to allow Russia to take the credit for a President Trump policy. It could be. But we suspect that it is a President Trump miracle. The miracle in this case is that President Trump’s clear-eyed assessment of the political situation in the world is now accepted by Russia.

Why would Russia wake up? Maybe it is this very underreported story by American Big Media:

At least 14 people were murdered and 50 injured in the blast and horrifying pictures show bodies, blood and wreckage strewn across the carriage of the train blown up between Sennaya Ploshchad and Sadovaya metro stations in Russia’s second city.

Russian citizen Akbarzhon Jalilov, 22, who was born in Kyrgyzstan, has been named by security services as the suspected attacked who also planted a second device hidden in a fire extinguisher that failed to explode. [snip]

Police believe he has close links to radical Islamists.

Jalilov’s home country of Kyrgyzstan, which borders Kazakhstan and China in central Asia, is predominately Muslim and has seen up to 500 citizens travel to Syria to join ISIS. Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev were also born there.

Candidate for president Donald J. Trump frequently declared that he thought Russia could be a partner against Muslim terrorists. Russia this week got a taste of Muslim terror from the same source Boston sampled. Quislings in the West, particularly in Germany, don’t want to fight Muslim terrorists:

A decision by the city of Berlin not to illuminate its most famous landmark, the Brandenburg Gate, in the colors of the Russian flag to show solidarity with St Petersburg after an attack has provoked anger, with critics calling it a scandal.

In the past after attacks in other countries, the city has beamed the colors of flags of France, Turkey, Britain and the Netherlands onto the Brandenburg Gate, which divided East and West Berlin in the Cold War. [snip]

While lights at the Eiffel Tower in Paris will be switched off at midnight on Tuesday as a mark of respect for the victims of the St Petersburg attack, other European landmarks have been lit in their usual way.

The head of German broadcaster Deutsche Welle’s Russian service Ingo Mannteufel said the decision belittled victims of the St Petersburg attack at a time when the German government says it values the Russian people even if it disagrees with the Kremlin.

(The West) has a moral and political duty to show solidarity with the victims of terrorism in Russia. That the Brandenburg Gate was not illuminated in the Russian colors was therefore wrong, yes, it is even a scandal,” he wrote.

There are those in the West that want war with Russia. These same forces do everything to appease Muslim terrorists. Every attempt is made to goad President Trump to turn his eyes from Muslim terrorism and onto Russia. Thus far it has not worked.

The Susan Rice scandal and all the Obama Dimocrat perversions of the intelligence apparatus in this country have been geared towards leading President Trump into conflict with Russia. But even in the most totalitarian leftist precincts, warnings are sounded about this soon to fail tactic:

Putin Derangement Syndrome Arrives

Whatever the truth about Trump and Russia, the speculation surrounding it has become a dangerous case of mass hysteria [snip]

For seemingly the 100th time, social media is exploding. This is it! The big reveal! [snip]

One way we recognize a mass hysteria movement is that everyone who doesn’t believe is accused of being in on the plot. This has been going on virtually unrestrained in both political and media circles in recent weeks.

The aforementioned Mensch, a noted loon who thinks Putin murdered Andrew Breitbart but has somehow been put front and center by The Times and HBO’s Real Time, has denounced an extraordinary list of Kremlin plants.

She’s tabbed everyone from Jeff Sessions (“a Russian partisan”) to Rudy Giuliani and former Assistant FBI Director James Kallstrom (“agents of influence”) to Glenn Greenwald (“Russian shill”) to ProPublica and Democracy Now! (also “Russian shills”), to the 15-year-old girl with whom Anthony Weiner sexted (really, she says, a Russian hacker group called “Crackas With Attitudes”) to an unnamed number of FBI agents in the New York field office (“moles”). And that’s just for starters.

Others are doing the same. Eric Boehlert of Media Matters, upon seeing the strange behavior of Republican Intel Committee chair Devin Nunes, asked “what kind of dossier” the Kremlin has on Nunes. [snip]

Even Bernie Sanders has himself been accused of being a Putin plant by Mensch. But even he’s gotten on board of late, asking, “What do the Russians have on Mr. Trump?”

So even people who themselves have been accused of being Russian plants are now accusing people of being Russian plants. As the Russians would say, it’s enough to make your bashka hurt.

The entire article from leftist Matt Taibbi is worth reading to fully understand the crackpot left. At times it is comic as when it describes Senator Mark Warner’s antics which merit a trip to Bellevue insane asylum. But mostly it is a map of leftist lunacy. Even leftist loon Noam Chomsky thinks the entire Russia crackpottery is “a joke”.

Mostly though the Taibbi article is a summary of the miracle that is President Donald J. Trump. How did Donald J. Trump, short of a miracle possibly win the presidential election???

Since 2012 we often declared that all you needed to know was that 2016 would be a “change” election. We predicted a Trump victory on the Friday before the election and put forth our election map – which left open as “too close to call” the pivotal states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. We knew Trump would win and endorsed him because Trump was the change candidate. We were sure the candidate of change would win. But really!!!! With all the Susan Rice/Barack Obama corruptions of the election process how in hell did Donald J. Trump manage to win??? The odds against this victory become more vast, more immeasurable, the more this scandal develops.

It was a miracle.

President Trump today, against the weak Republican leadership, against the always ready to cave Republican senate, effectively managed to get Neil Gorsuch confirmed. The official vote will be tomorrow but it is a miracle that this has happened. We thought it would happen, but still, it is a miracle.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle. Against all odds Trump became President. Now we discover that Barack Obama corrupted the intelligence agencies to attack Trump.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle. Against all odds from Obama Dimocrats he is protecting America’s allies like Israel and attacking America’s enemies.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle. Against Obama Dimocrat attempts to subvert the Constitution and GOP weaklings afraid of their own shadows, Donald J. Trump will be able to appoint his nominees to the Supreme Court.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle. The great miracle is that President Donald J. Trump is the salvation of the Republic.

Our Republic is saved by President Donald J. Trump. Obama Dimocrats will not subvert the Constitution further in their attempt to only allow a Supreme Court justice of their own choosing from confirmation. The democratic election will have consequences. President Donald J. Trump will be able to follow the Constitution and appoint Supreme Court Justices.

Our Republic is saved by President Donald J. Trump. Obama Dimocrat attempts to bring about war with Russia and protect Muslim terrorist nations will not succeed.

Our Republic is saved by President Donald J. Trump. Here the people rule. Government Of, By, and For the people, shall not perish from the Earth. It is not the intelligence agencies that will determine our elections. Here the people rule.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle and the salvation of our Republic.

Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

@POTUS @RealDonaldTrump Legacy Monday: Happy Birthday Barron Trump, Neil Gorsuch Shocker, Russia Intelligence Bomb

Today is Trump Legacy Monday. On every front President Trump builds – his legacy, monuments, and legislative achievements.

Legacy! Biggest legacy item for any father is family. For Donald J. Trump he has a big family of very talented children. But the vengeance? The one that sweeps them all away? Barron Trump.

Today is Barron Trump’s birthday. Have you seen the latest pictures of that boy? Barron Trump is now taller than his mother and arguably prettier. Barron Trump is almost as tall as his six foot plus father.

Today, this first day of spring, Barron Trump is eleven years old. When President Trump becomes a civilian again Barron Trump will be eighteen years old. Picture an eighteen year old Barron Trump!

Remember that earlier gorgeous hunk, John-John Kennedy Jr.? Well, forget him. In eight years Barron Trump can be a star at whatever he chooses to be. Basketball player? Golfer? Builder? Actor? Boy Band performer? Restauranteur? For Obama Dimocrats the nightmare is that Barron Trump decides to follow his father’s footsteps and have a business career then a political career. Barron Trump and President Trump will have the last laugh after all the ugly attacks they have endured.

* * * * * *

Legacy! Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court. Spring’s green shoots sprout forth.

Today the confirmation hearings for Neil Gorsuch, expected to last several days, begin. The Obama Dimocrats are already defeated but resist that reality. Neil Gorsuch will soon be Justice Gorsuch. The only open question is whether or not the Obama Dimocrats will filibuster as has been promised by Senators Blumenthal and Merkley. The Obama Dimocrat nutroots demand a filibuster.

A filibuster of Neil Gorsuch will be a big help for President Trump. The Republicans that control the U.S. Senate will follow in Obama Dimocrat Leader Harry Reid’s footsteps and kill the filibuster forever. Then President Trump will have an easy time of it for his second and third Supreme Court appointments. Obama Dimocrats shudder and shake as President Trump builds his legacy on the Supreme Court this first day of spring.

There is one shocking fact about Neil Gorsuch that few talk about.

[whisper] Neil Gorsuch is a Protestant. Yeah. A WASP. A White Anglo-Saxon Protestant.

About half of Americans are Protestants. The Protestant Ethic built America. Yet, the WASP is the only group you can still attack in the most racially ugly terms possible.

There is not one single Protestant on the Supreme Court.

There are Catholics and Jews on the Supreme Court. There are men and women on the Supreme Court. Latinos and blacks are represented on the Supreme Court. Not one single Protestant. Neil Gorsuch will only begin to restore the balance to the Supreme Court.

Neil Gorsuch will restore the five vote majority of non-leftists on the high court. This will be a major legacy item for President Trump in his first hundred days.

Those like us here that in the comments have been tracking with giggles and guffaws the Ninth Circuit lunacy over President Trump’s executive orders on immigration will have more giggles and guffaws to come as President Trump trumps on immigration. In the immigration battles to come Neil Gorsuch will add to the President Trump legacy.

* * * * * *

On this first day of spring we also see the trees bloom and fill with nuts. In the House of Representatives the nuts are plentiful.

Today, at a hearing in the House, Obama Dimocrats chortled. Resistance to reality reigned.

Obama Dimocrats made a great show about their deranged allegations. The Obama Dimocrat base swooned with fantasies of a soon to be impeached President Trump brought down by a Russia-Trump connection which stole the American election and now America under a Putin palace coup will soon be liberated.

On national television the Obama Dimocrat elected representatives fed the mushroom hallucinations of their masturbating fantasist base.

Fortunately, the Obama Dimocrats are unable to see their fantasies will ultimately dissolve and thus President Trump’s legacy will be framed by the madness of the lunatic crowd. The Obama Dimocrats have been warned. Leftist Glenn Greenwald warns them to wean off the hallucinogens because there is no evidence of their delusions as real, here in the real world. Byron York has warned them too with an explanation of history.

Hells bells! What more do these leftist loons need? Even leftist Ben Smith who published lies about President Trump tries to warn these Hopium addled loons off their self medication and hallucinations. In the end the only valid question about Russia that will remain is the “unmasking” one that will enhance President Trump’s legacy and bring historic mockery of the madness of the Obama Dims.

* * * * * *

On this first day of spring, President Trump’s legacy is already assured and ready to grow for eight more years. As Michael Barone explains, Americans believe President Trump’s policies are working. Americans know President Trump is a fighter and will fight to cut back waste and fraud in government. That’s why we know who will win the fight which Howie Kurtz explains as the swamp fighting back.

The swamp will also fight back to defend the swamp stench called ObamaCare. But it is already too late. President Trump will build his legacy by destroying Barack Obama’s sole “legacy”. The first vote is set for Thursday. The new legacy will destroy the old legacy which will only serve to enhance the significance of the President Trump legacy.

Want to have an historic giggle and guffaw? Consider the House will “schedule a floor vote on the bill Thursday, seven years to the day that Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act.” Tomorrow morning President Trump will meet with every House Republican to prepare for that vote and to announce the changes to be made to Phase I of the ObamaCare repeal and replace.

So today, the first day of spring, President Trump will be in Louisville Kentucky at a rally. It will be another rip-roaring tub-thumping rock-n-rollicking event.

It’s Legacy Monday baby!

Casus Belli: 9th Circuit Immigration Order Declares War On President Trump

Update: The fog of war continues. The Ninth Circuit declared war on President Trump, the Executive Branch, and our system of enumerated powers and separation of powers. That is the main lesson from their latest clown ruling on President Trump’s immigration order. Now the Ninth Circus has gone further nuts, if that is possible. There is a new order from the Ninth Circus:

BREAKING: 9th Circuit Judge Wants Another Vote over Trump Travel Ban Decision

In a somewhat rare move, one of the judges on the 9th Circuit of Appeals has made a request that a vote be taken as to whether the order issued by the three judges Thursday night should be reconsidered en banc, which means before the entire 9th Circuit bench rather than by just the panel selected from them. It’s not clear if this mean that this judge believes that there is enough votes to overturn the lower court’s decision which put a temporary halt to Trump’s controversial travel ban. Regardless, it is an interesting move, and throws another legal twist into the ongoing court battle between President Trump and those trying to prevent his controversial immigration ban from being enforced. [snip]

The court has instructed both Trump’s team and lawyers for the State of Washington and Minnesota to file briefs due by Thursday February 16th, stating whether they believe the motion should be considered en banc. Earlier today, Trump indicated that he did not plan to appeal the 9th Circuit’s decision to the U.S. Supreme Court, and instead planned to fight the case on the merits in the lower court.

What does this all mean? Is the Ninth Circus afraid of what has been unleashed by it’s mad war against separation of powers and at least one judge is blinking, afraid or concerned by the implications of what the Ninth Circus has done? Or is the fear of President Trump forcing the Ninth Circus to reconsider their craziness? Or is the Ninth Circus afraid that President Trump’s alleged plans to fight the case in the lower court and the court of public opinion and thereby this new order is a way to force President Trump to stay at the appeals level and on to the Supreme Court before Justice Gorsuch appears on the high court?

We won’t speculate as to those questions. But we do know who will win and who will lose: President Trump will win and the Ninth Circuit will lose. Why do we say that with such assuredness? Because President Trump has a lot of cards to play while the Ninth Circuit – with it’s ridiculous ruling which gave standing to non-citizens in other countries and gave legal standing to the complaining states without real grievances – played it’s last hand.

Eventually this all goes to the Supreme Court, unless the Ninth Circus surrenders, and President Trump has the appointment trump hand. The Ninth Circus is in for a world of hurt, possibly including getting smashed to bits, and of course the Congress can always cut the court budget giving the Ninth Circus and the Judicial Branch a good lesson in separation of powers.

What would we like to see happen in our entertainment fantasies? It would be fun if Attorney General Jeff Sessions would reply to the court with a letter saying “listen you dumbass motherf*cker refugees from Barnum & Bailey, you will get an asswhipping ejamacation on separation of powers when we bust up your little clown tent and start to pass legislation with Article III, Section 2 “exceptions, and under such regulations as the Congress shall make” which strip you of judicial review and then you can chew on your own butts for taking on President Trump before I was in office and he had to fight you alone you jerkoff lunatics, and let me also tell you you goddamned motherfu*king ….”

——————————————————————–

President Trump is no Mae West. Mae, as Flower Belle, is asked by a judge “Are you trying to show contempt for this court?” Mae responds: “No. I’m doing my best to hide it.” President Trump does not hide his contempt for the ridiculous court which presumes to intrude on his Executive Branch prerogatives in violation of the separation of powers.

The Ninth Circus has made it’s ridiculous ruling (full text HERE) on President Trump’s executive order on immigration. As expected, the Ninth Circus of Hell, the Circuit most overturned by the Supreme Court, upheld the district court clown’s temporary restraining order.

As we wrote previously, President Trump will eventually win this battle for the reasons we outlined (um, paging Justice Gorsuch, paging Justice Gorsuch – time to bitch-slap the Ninth Circus clowns!). The good news in all this is that as of today the newly confirmed Attorney General Jeff Sessions is on the job and ready to help President Trump.

So what happens now? There are essentially two options: Option 1: ask Justice Kennedy for a stay from the TRO, which we suspect Justice Kennedy would grant and then continue to slog it out in the courts until reinforcements arrive to support President Trump in the Supreme Court. Option 2: go full tilt political on this and burn down the liberal Ninth Circuit – holding these leftist loons responsible if their stay of President Trump’s order leads to any harm to this country – and going to the country to denounce the leftist loons.

Big Media has already declared President Trump is on a “collision course” with the left and that includes the leftist loons in the judiciary so this is just sauce for this strong leader. President Trump has a strong case to make to the American people on immigration and the American people agree with President Trump:

Donald Trump’s most controversial executive orders have proved to be his most popular, according to a new poll, suggesting that protests and their attendant media coverage aren’t reliable indicators of what Americans expect of their new president.

Fifty-five per cent of registered voters support Trump’s travel ban affecting seven Muslim-majority countries. The same number approve of his plan to deny federal funds to cities that shield illegal-immigrant criminals from deportation.

The numbers come from a new Morning Consult poll conducted for the Washington, D.C.-area Politico newspaper.

Also winning the approval of an American majority is the president’s demand that bureaucrats freeze new federal regulations until his administration can review them and assess their impacts. That measure has 54-percent approval. [snip]

The remaining eight executive orders in the new poll won support from between 46 and 49 per cent of registered voters.

None of them is ‘under water’ – political-speak for having more disapproval than approval.

It’s not just the American people. The West is uniting behind President Trump’s ideas:

What Do Europeans Think About Muslim Immigration?

There is evidence to suggest that both Trump and these radical right-wing parties reflect an underlying reservoir of public support.

Drawing on a unique, new Chatham House survey of more than 10,000 people from 10 European states, we can throw new light on what people think about migration from mainly Muslim countries. Our results are striking and sobering. They suggest that public opposition to any further migration from predominantly Muslim states is by no means confined to Trump’s electorate in the US but is fairly widespread.

In our survey, carried out before President Trump’s executive order was announced, respondents were given the following statement: ‘All further migration from mainly Muslim countries should be stopped’. They were then asked to what extent did they agree or disagree with this statement. Overall, across all 10 of the European countries an average of 55% agreed that all further migration from mainly Muslim countries should be stopped, 25% neither agreed nor disagreed and 20% disagreed.

Majorities in all but two of the ten states agreed, ranging from 71% in Poland, 65% in Austria, 53% in Germany and 51% in Italy to 47% in the United Kingdom and 41% in Spain. In no country did the percentage that disagreed surpass 32%.

Public opposition to further migration from Muslim states is especially intense in Austria, Poland, Hungary, France and Belgium, despite these countries having very different sized resident Muslim populations. In each of these countries, at least 38% of the sample ‘strongly agreed’ with the statement. With the exception of Poland, these countries have either been at the centre of the refugee crisis or experienced terrorist attacks in recent years. It is also worth noting that in most of these states the radical right is, to varying degrees, entrenched as a political force and is looking to mobilize this angst over Islam into the ballot box, either at elections in 2017 or longer term.

President Trump did not issue a Muslim ban, but it would appear that as a political argument, it is a strong one.

Option 1 or Option 2? With this violation of the separation of powers doctrine, three clowns in the Ninth Circus have opened a war on the executive branch. The notion, as today’s decision states, that Washington state has standing in this suit because some of its students are inconvenienced is an appalling standard. The notion that these judges get to decide, however disguised, on the wisdom of the President’s policy instead of strictly on the law and presidential authority is a casus belli. The Ninth Circus has declared war on President Trump so President Trump is justified if he decides to go all out war as well.

Option 1 or Option 2? Which will President Trump choose? Perhaps a combination of Option 1 and Option 2: a fight in the court system and the court of public opinion? You betcha, in all caps:

Devos, Immigration, Filibuster: President Trump’s New Theme Song

Update: Winning. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

——————————————————-

There’s a new song in town. The mocking “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” was Donald J. Trump’s campaign theme song. The defiant “Heart of Stone” as in “you’ll never break” heralded the beginning of the Trump years at the inauguration. Now there is a new President Trump theme song which demonstrates the difference between Barack the Boob compared to get-it-done Don.

Today, Betsy Devos is the new Secretary of Education after the latest 24 hour prank by Obama Dimocrats intent on denial. Tomorrow Jeff Sessions will be confirmed as the new Attorney General to head the Department of (finally!) Justice. Tonight there will be courtroom antics on the West Coast regarding President Trump’s “extreme vetting” of passengers from a bunch of “terrorist friendly” countries. Four of these countries are so debased they don’t even have American embassies due to lack of security.

Later in the month there will be further filibuster antics by Obama Dimocrats to block President Trump’s choice, Neil Gorsuch, from the Supreme Court. This spasm of “resistance” by the deluded Obama Dimocrats will also fail.

This week though, the attention will be on the President Trump temporary “travel ban” to Make America Safe Again. While others chew on their toe nails with worry, we’ll be dabbing some color on our fingernails. Why? Because no matter what happens today or tomorrow President Trump will win all these fights. We’ll lay it all out below. But first, let’s listen to that new President Trump theme song because it explains so much about why Barack the Boob failed while President Trump is all success:

* * * * * *

Yeah, time is on Trump’s side, yes it is. And don’t think for a second that President Trump doesn’t know it.

Barack the Boob ran for president having done nothing but self advancement in his life. Barack the Boob was a lost boy when he was inaugurated. Barack the Boob was entirely befuddled as to how to run the vast American government because Barack the Boob had never run any business or large organization. Never. During the campaign Barack the Boob tried to sell the notion that his campaign was a vast enterprise and Barack the Boob staked his silly claim to experience running a large enterprise on his campaign! It was a silly claim. Barack the Boob proved just how silly, the moment he bungled the oath of office and continued giving speeches after he occupied the White House.

Barack the Boob never ran a large enterprise so he did not know what to do other than invite sports and movie stars to the White House. Consider the dire consequences if Barack the Boob had known what he was doing.

All that immigration stuff he tried to do at the end of his term might have succeeded if Barack the Boob had done it earlier in his term and known what to do. That broken filibuster on lower court judges would have been so much more successful if the filibuster had been broken early in Barack the Boob’s term. On issue after issue, Barack the Boob struck too late, too stupidly, and therefore failed. Obama failed because he should never have been president due to lack of experience, lack of love of country, lack of a coherent world view.

President Trump will not fail. President Trump knows how to run a vast enterprise so he will not fail. Neil Gorsuch will be the next Supreme Court justice. President Trump and the Senate Republicans won’t even have to get rid of the filibuster to confirm Neil Gorsuch, as has been discussed in our comments section. For those interested in the details of how to confirm Neil Gorsuch without getting rid of the filibuster Sean Davis explains the back and forth of Senate rules, particularly Rule 19.

There is no need to get rid of the filibuster in the Senate. The Republican Senate can get rid of the filibuster if it so chooses. Our advice, which echoes President Trump, is a quote from Shakespeare: If it were done when ’tis done, then ’twere well, It were done quickly. In other words, if ya gotta do it, do it fast. If the Republican Senate is to get rid of the filibuster they might as well get full advantage of it for the next eight years at least (and it will still pay dividends under President Pence). The sooner it is done, the greater the chances of success in later initiatives, and the greater the chances of electoral victory. In other words, a virtuous circle.

If the filibuster falls on Supreme Court nominees just be aware that it is very likely that the entire filibuster, for every issue, is likely dead also. As we wrote previously, the Obama Dimocrats are in full “resistance” mode and will continue their Barackesque petulance and temper tantrums until they wake up in 2019 to Republican supermajorities in the Senate and Supreme Court. The looming disaster is what even Rahm Emanuel is “chill pill” warning Obama Dimocrats about today.

No amount of Obama Dimocrat “resistance” will block Neil Gorsuch from the Supreme Court. Likewise, West Coast “resistance” court antics will not stop President Trump from ultimate victory.

The tomfoolery on the West Coast will end in a President Trump victory. At some point it will all wind up in the Supreme Court and President Trump’s current appointee Neil Gorsuch and later appointees will eventually make it to the Supreme Court. President Trump will prevail.

We’re not going to waste time here with detailed discussions of the West Coast court antics. Byron York has done a masterful job of that already:

Byron York: Justice Department demolishes case against Trump order

Byron York is not alone. The Associated Press has debunked Judge Robart’s inappropriate claims in court:

Fact check: No arrests from 7 nations in travel ban? Judge in Seattle was wrong

That the judge in Seattle even asked the question was entirely inappropriate and demonstrates the political, not legal, nature of the temporary injunction he ordered against President Trump’s immigration order. The duty of the court is to determine whether or not President Trump has the authority, not the wisdom of the order. The judge, by his question, proved he is biased against President Trump’s legal order.

Likewise, the Ninth Circuit will be biased against President Trump and will likely rule against President Trump. Then it will likely all go to the Supreme Court which is currently split 4-4 so the Ninth Circuit order will probably rule the day. But it won’t matter. It just won’t matter. Time, is on Trump’s side, yes it is.

Assume all the worst. Assume the Ninth Circuit rules against President Trump. Assume Justice Kennedy refers the entire matter to the full court instead of granting a stay all on his own. Assume the Supreme Court is deadlocked so that the Ninth Circuit leftist loons prevail. Assume the West Coast “judge” issues a preliminary then permanent injunction against President Trump’s immigration order. Assume all the worst, that the courts will not care about the law but instead about their “feelings” and political views. Assume all the worst. It won’t matter. It just won’t matter. Time, is on Trump’s side, yes it is.

Once Neil Gorsuch is on the Supreme Court, President Trump can try again. Once the next justice appointed by President Trump is on the Supreme Court, President Trump can try again. All President Trump has to do is file a slightly altered executive order and the whole process will begin again. Except, the next time, the Supreme Court will be at full Trump. President Trump eventually wins on his immigration executive order because President Trump is correct on the law.

The losers in all this will be the American people and the Obama Dimocrats. The American people will be made less safe. At some point the terrorists flooding into the country because of the West Coast leftist court loons will attack. Who will benefit? President Trump. President Trump will be able to point at the Obama Dimocrats and the leftist loons in the court system and denounce the blood on their hands. Time is on Trump’s side, yes it is.

There are other losers. Silicon Valley. The technology companies have come out in oppostion to President Trump. They have intervened in the courts and filed amicus briefs against President Trump’s order. They will regret it:

Trump’s Next Immigration Move to Hit Closer to Home for Tech

President Donald Trump’s clash with Silicon Valley over immigration is about to become even more contentious.

After the new president banned refugees and travelers from seven predominantly Muslim countries, Google, Facebook, Salesforce, Microsoft and others railed against the move, saying it violated the country’s principles and risked disrupting its engine of innovation. Trump’s next steps could strike even closer to home: His administration has drafted an executive order aimed at overhauling the work-visa programs technology companies depend on to hire tens of thousands of employees each year.

If implemented, the reforms could shift the way American companies like Microsoft Corp., Amazon.com Inc. and Apple Inc. recruit talent and force wholesale changes at Indian companies such as Infosys Ltd. and Wipro Ltd. Businesses would have to try to hire American first and if they recruit foreign workers, priority would be given to the most highly paid.

Our country’s immigration policies should be designed and implemented to serve, first and foremost, the U.S. national interest,” the draft proposal reads, according to a copy reviewed by Bloomberg. “Visa programs for foreign workers … should be administered in a manner that protects the civil rights of American workers and current lawful residents, and that prioritizes the protection of American workers — our forgotten working people — and the jobs they hold.”

Technology companies on the West Coast want to protect their profits, not American workers. That is the source of the “resistance” to President Trump from the technology oligarchs.

Again, they will rue the day they opposed American workers and President Trump. Time, is on Trump’s side, yes it is.

It is possible that President Trump could prevail in the Ninth Circuit. We’ll light a sparkler if the Ninth Circuit does the right thing. Justice Kennedy could also issue a stay all on his own if the Ninth Circuit stays on it’s leftist lunacy, and we’ll light the same sparkler in that event. Mostly, we’ll yawn. Eventually, as we wrote earlier, Trump prevails:

Trump is stronger than national polls suggest

President Trump is still popular in core Republican strongholds, even though he has suffered a dip in the national public opinion polls.

Trump’s approval rating is 45 percent, an underwater mark previously unseen for a president this early in his first term. But Trump’s image and his policies are holding up just fine among voters in Republican districts and states key to the president’s ability to drive his agenda through Congress, and his party’s success in 2018. [snip]

While his national numbers aren’t good, Trump is much stronger in the states that could decide the outcome of the midterm elections, according to Republican operatives who have reviewed polling produced since New Year’s Day. For now, that suggests Democrats are less likely to benefit from the president’s struggles nationally than has been the case in past election cycles.

Like Trump’s loss of the national popular vote, Republican operatives say the president’s high disapproval numbers are being driven by dissatisfaction with his leadership in progressive, high-population metro centers, like Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.

The midterm elections, however, are going to be fought on Senate battlegrounds that include red states like Missouri and West Virginia and swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — all won by Trump.

Missouri is a perfect example.

The “show me” state will show Obama Dimocrats the door in 2018. The 2018 elections will provide President Trump massive victories. Every day, while Rahm orders “chill pills” for Obama Dimocrats, President Trump continues to work and win. Did we mention this is only week 3 of President Trump? There are several hundred weeks to come. Every day President Trump pulls out a win, like a super human Tom Brady.

Ha! Tom Brady. Remember all those times that Barack the Boob declared such and such of his favorite sports team would win only to watch them go down in flames? Barack the Boob is the kiss of death. President Trump made an outlandish prediction about the Superbowl and outlandish prediction came true.

As the Superbowl game played, Donald Trump, Junior scored a funny:

Yeah, we’re did we see that before?

Lesson: don’t bet against President Trump. Time, and tide, are on Trump’s side.

How And What @RealDonaldTrump Wins On Tuesday

Donald J. Trump will win the 2016 presidential election. Four days before Election Day here is our forecast of what states, at a minimum, Trump will win:

Click the map to create your own at 270toWin.com

A Trump loss of a state like New Hampshire with few electoral votes still gives Trump the win in our calculation. Colorado is our biggest doubt but we side on a Trump victory there (and a solitary loss in Colorado still gives Trump the win). A Trump win of (yeah, we think two of those states go to Trump) Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, (Minnesota!!!???), would be icing on the cake, the cherry on top, sauce on the big red meatball.

That is what Donald J. Trump will win in the electoral college which means a four to eight year lease on the White House. The American people though will be the big winners. A Trump victory will mean the American people will have so many victories with a Trump win some will get tired of winning. We won’t.

The biggest win for the American people when Trump wins: calculated, data driven, “ground game”, bloodless, poll dictated, campaigns will have been beaten by a candidate and campaign that spoke in plain English, not poll calculated and crafted terminology.

Second biggest win for the American people when Trump wins: SMASH BIG MEDIA AND THE RULING POLITICAL CLASS. The scum will be driven from the pond. The vampires will be garlicked. The snakes in the pit will be killed by the American people – with the Trump stick.

Third biggest win for the American people when Trump wins: Barack Obama and his toxic gangster government will be destroyed once and for all (especially after the FBI gets new leadership and bleaches the rot from government). [Bonus third biggest win: Paul Ryan will be thrown out on his well muscled ass from Quisling control of the House of Representatives.]

Fourth biggest win for the American people when Trump wins: America will be great again, in deeds, not just words.

Fifth biggest win for the American people when Trump wins: jobs, jobs, jobs, a revitalized economy, a government and president that loves America and the American people, a government and president that will fight Muslim terrorists and Muslim ideology, a government and president that believes in the values of the West, a government and president that defends Judaeo-Christian culture and values, a government and president that puts America first.

How will Trump win? Trump is the candidate of change in a change election. That’s all you need to know.

Penis Power: WikiLeaks, DikiLeaks, Break The Big Media Blockade Of #HillaryEmails

In the end, all it took was a penis to screw Hillary2016 and break the Big Media blockade. We thought that is what would happen immediately after the news broke of the FBI dynamiting open the Hillary email investigation.

The sensational nature of the James Comey announcement that indeed a major party political nominee for president was under active investigation by the FBI – eleven days before the election – was enough for us to declare that the Big Media blockade of the over thirty thousand WikiLeaks emails, and the Project Veritas videos, was breached and broken. But such is the nature of Big Media that almost immediately the corrupt talking heads moved into defensive positions and declared the entire FBI investigation a big “nothing burger”.

Then came the penis.

The New York Times climaxed and spewed ink on the front page, on the front page with a picture!!! not buried in the second section, with the news:

News on the intertubes from celebrities can be expected but the New York Times publishing news was a stunner. That’s not to say that the celebrities stayed silent. James Woods and Roseanne Barr licked their chops in public and commenced to connect dots:

So how did we get to the penis point pivot? Wikileaks paved the way.

Over thirty thousand emails, mostly ignored by Big Media, from high up in Hillary2016 and the DNC, laid out a roadmap. Big Media did not publish nor broadcast the Wikileaks revelations but behind the scenes, the emails were read and reread. Big Media did not understand that just by reading the emails their “brains” were being rewired into a deeper understanding of the corruption at the heart of what Wikileaks revealed.

Then James Comey on Friday revealed he hit the detonator button to reset the investigation. The New Yorker, yes, The New Yorker, published the news, yes, news, that James Comey had gone full Sarah Palin rogue:

On Friday, James Comey, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, acting independently of Attorney General Loretta Lynch, sent a letter to Congress saying that the F.B.I. had discovered e-mails that were potentially relevant to the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private server. Coming less than two weeks before the Presidential election, Comey’s decision to make public new evidence that may raise additional legal questions about Clinton was contrary to the views of the Attorney General, according to a well-informed Administration official. Lynch expressed her preference that Comey follow the department’s longstanding practice of not commenting on ongoing investigations, and not taking any action that could influence the outcome of an election, but he said that he felt compelled to do otherwise. [snip]

According to the Administration official, Lynch asked Comey to follow Justice Department policies, but he said that he was obliged to break with them because he had promised to inform members of Congress if there were further developments in the case. He also felt that the impending election created a compelling need to inform the public, despite the tradition of acting with added discretion around elections. The Administration official said that Lynch and Justice Department officials are studying the situation, which he called unprecedented. [snip]

Comey’s supporters argue that he had to act independently, and publicly, because Lynch had compromised herself by having an impromptu visit with Bill Clinton late in the investigation. In the ensuing uproar, Lynch promised to accept Comey’s recommendation on whether to bring charges against Clinton. But, as Miller notes, Comey’s press conference triggered a series of other events, including congressional hearings where Comey was forced to defend his decision not to recommend prosecution. Comey’s letter to Congress on Friday updated his earlier statements that the Clinton e-mail investigation had ended.

The above news could have been suppressed, blockaded, as other news from Wikileaks has been suppressed, blockaded. But that penis penetrated the blockade. The public might not know a great deal about politics. But the public in our celebrity sex drenched culture can sniff out a hard story if it involves s-e-x.

After that, the story of the penis could not be softened. All the “it’s a partisan investigation,” “Comey is a Republican,” “it’s a nothing burger,” “the election is over,” “it’s over for Trump” fell apart. The public was aroused.

An aroused public forced the most Trump hate Big Media outlets to confront reality. Politico, the propaganda spearhead of Big Media could no longer coast on Trump hate but had to face reality:

Clinton can no longer coast to the win

Fresh FBI review gives fuel to Trump’s allegations of poor judgment and untrustworthy character.

Hillary Clinton often says she wants to “close my campaign the way I began my career: fighting for kids and families.”

Instead, she is closing it the way she began 18 months ago, with potentially damaging revelations about her emails looming, as well as a new round of questions concerning Bill Clinton’s alleged leveraging of the Clinton Foundation for personal financial gain. [snip]

“People are shocked,” admitted one close Clinton confidant. [snip]

“Until we know more, this looks like a bombshell of October surprise proportions,” worried another longtime Clinton adviser.

Even more unsettling was a New York Times report that the new emails were obtained from a review of electronic devices belonging to former Rep. Anthony Weiner, who is married to top Clinton aide Huma Abedin and is under investigation for allegedly exchanging lewd text messages with a 15-year-old girl. [snip]

Clinton has painted Trump as an erratic bully whose attacks are generally grounded more in projection than fact. But the revelation seemed to give credence to at least one of Trump’s charges on Clinton’s staff. “I only worry for the country in that Hillary Clinton was careless and negligent in allowing Weiner to have such close proximity to highly classified information,” Trump said last August, after Abedin dumped Weiner.

The Comey announcement is expected to allow Trump to revisit questions of Clinton’s judgment, which have also emerged in the hacked personal emails of campaign chairman John Podesta. In those emails, posted on WikiLeaks, top aides gripe about Clinton’s “terrible” political instincts and express shock that her State Department advisers indulged in her penchant for secrecy by allowing her to set up the problematic private email server in the first place.

In recent days, Clinton’s campaign has also been fending off new revelations about the money-making aspects of Bill Clinton’s post-presidential life. A memo from a former aide posted on WikiLeaks raised questions about whether foundation donors were pressed to offer paid speeches to Bill Clinton. The for-profit college system Laureate International Universities, for example, put the former president on its payroll after first becoming a donor to the foundation.

On Thursday, Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri said that the foundation issues are not “something that voters are going to focus on … or care about” in the voting booth.

Notice how Anthony’s weiner hurts. In order to explain the penis angle of this story and the full length of news they have thus far suppressed, blockaded, Politico had to discuss Wikileaks. Wikileaks was the lubricant – then Weiner’s penis penetrated the Big Media blockade.

Rush Limbaugh’s worries that the FBI announcement is a distraction from Wikileaks is wrong. The penis angle, like the arrow in the Hillary2016 logo, points to Wikileaks.

The fact is that Wikileaks over the past few weeks has smashed much of the Hillary2016 effort. Every day Wikileaks has done damage that cannot be gauged yet. But understand this, Hillary2016 is a massive bureaucracy and like all massive bureaucracies it functions only as long as discipline is maintained, secrets kept, and leadership respected and obeyed.

Wikileaks has damaged the Hillary2016 bureaucracy as revelation after revelation has damaged interpersonal relationships. All the nasty things said by co-workers about co-workers, and the candidate herself and her family, are now a matter of public record. All the workers in the Hillary2016 bureaucracy are now privy to the topmost secrets. All the jealousies and hatreds are exposed.

In the wake of all the secret hatreds and feuds revealed by Wikileaks there is now anger and defeat:

Anger, disbelief in Clinton camp

Hillary Clinton’s allies were cast into a state of anger and disbelief over the FBI’s stunning announcement that it is reviewing new emails “pertinent” to Clinton’s use of a private email server.

That shocking development — revealed in a letter to Congress by FBI Director James Comey — pushed some of Clinton’s allies past the boiling point.

They said they were “dumbfounded” by the revelation that the new FBI review may have been spurred by a separate investigation into Anthony Weiner sending lewd texts to a minor. Weiner is separated from wife Huma Abedin, one of Clinton’s closest aides.

And they worried that Clinton’s unconventional email arrangement had finally caught up to her and might imperil her presidential bid less than two weeks before Election Day.

“I’m livid, actually,” one Clinton surrogate told The Hill. “This has turned into malpractice. It’s an unforced error at this point. I have no idea what Comey is up to but the idea this email issue is popping back up again is outrageous. It never should have occurred in the first place. Someone somewhere should have told her no. And they didn’t and now we’re all paying the price.”

Another ally called the campaign’s mood something akin to “paralysis,” and blamed Weiner’s behavior for railroading the campaign.

One strategist said the developments would further cement the notion that Clinton has something to hide.

“It’s made people think there’s always going to be something around the Clintons, some investigation, some inquiry,” the strategist said. “It never goes away.” [snip]

Clinton world was already on edge over Podesta’s hacked emails, which are being published by Wikileaks on a near-daily basis.

Those revelations have given new ammunition to Republican Donald Trump, who has seized on the leaked emails to accuse the Clintons of running a corrupt network of influence for personal gain.

After the FBI news broke on Friday, the campaign seemed resigned to Trump and other Republicans campaigning on the email issue in the final days of the race. [snip]

“I assume Senate Democrats are peeing in their pants right now,” the surrogate said. “The [Republican] ads are being cut as we speak.”

Some of the hacks in Hillary2016 and Big Media will try to convince themselves that “This is just a distraction.” That’s the view of Mark Mellman. That view reminds us of Daniel Defoe’s “A Journal of the Plague Years” wherein during the Black Death in London those doomed to death and infected in the worst way, had sex with each other on the stacks of dead bodies in the cemeteries, before they too succumbed to the long sleep.

Even before Friday’s atomic explosion in Brooklyn Hillary2016 headquarters, reality demanded to be set free from the Big Media blockade. The Washington Post/ABC News poll which declared last Sunday Hillary2016 was 12 points ahead of Donald J. Trump on Friday turned the race into a mere 2 point race. It’s not that Hillary lost ten points in one week (before the Friday atomic bomb exploded). The poll of a 12 point lead was revealed by the Washington Post itself to be part of the Big Media lie and blockade of the truth:

Just yesterday we wrote about the very curious ABC / Wapo poll which seemed to show Hillary’s blow-out 12-point lead from last Sunday get cut in half in a matter of just two days. But the ABC/Wapo enigma continues to grow today as their latest poll shows the presidential race has now tightened to just 2 points, which is within the margin of error. Ironically, these new results do not reflect the latest FBI bombshell as polling was concluded on October 27th and it still includes an 8-point sampling advantage for democrats. [snip]

So what happened? For months we have argued that these goal-seeking reports (aka “Polls”) can be easily manufactured to show whatever results are desired by simply “tweaking” the sample pool. WikiLeaks even exposed a handy guide 37-page poll-rigging guide on how to “include ethnic ‘oversamples’ as required” to manufacture the desired poll numbers. But, with today’s latest ABC / Washington Post poll, the real “smoking gun” admission is revealed as the pollsters admit that the narrowing of their polling results are “not mainly about people shifting in their candidate preference” but about how their sample pool was constructed.

Once again Wikileaks showed the public how to screw the public with phony polls and predetermined results. Wikileaks lubricated the way so that the public can be informed how the polls are used to screw the voting public and destroy candidates such as Donald J. Trump that Big Media hate.

Wikileaks lubricated the way. But it is Weiner’s penis that penetrated the Big Media blockade.

Let Trump Be Trump Power Pivot: The @RealDonaldTrump Rope-a-Dope Double Punch Speech Strategy, Part II

Make that three speeches, not the two speeches we referenced in Part I, that shook the world. In this Part II we’ll discuss Trump’s rope-a-dope, now triple punch, speech strategy. We begin with a Trump hater extraordinaire who took this long to see what we saw last year when Trump announced.

Trump hater Matt Bai at Rolling Stone drunkenly stumbled into a topic we have discussed long ago and many times. We wrote long ago that Trump destroyed the old corrupt Republican Party because Obama destroyed the old Democratic Party coalition of FDR/Kennedy/Bill Clinton. Obama’s stupidity opened a path for the white working class and seniors to go to the Republican Party and provide success to Donald J. Trump in this year’s GOP primaries.

But Donald J. Trump not only destroyed the old corrupt Republican Party. Trump is building a new home for seniors and the white working class. Donald J. Trump is building a massive new tower soon to be called the New Republican Party. That’s what the triple powerful speeches have been about. The stunning news for Trump haters and the ancien régime of the GOP is that Donald J. Trump is not only bringing in seniors and the white working class. Donald J. Trump is bringing in a whole lotta love from groups long abandoned by the GOP. Donald J. Trump has Make The GOP Great Again ambitions.

Here is Trump hater Matt Bai, full of Trump fear and loathing:

A Republican Workers’ Party?

Democratic incompetence has made the previously unthinkable possible: Republicans are reimagining themselves as a labor party

A horrifying article appeared in The New York Times last week, entitled “They Want Trump to Make the G.O.P. a Workers’ Party.”

In it, conservative intellectuals say they disavow Donald Trump, but also see in his rise a reason to shift their party’s focus.

The new Republicans would no longer be the party of “business and the privileged,” but the protector of a disenfranchised working class.

This was unplanned. If it happens, it’ll be a change that takes place not because conservative leaders ever wanted it, but because voters demanded it.

Basically, large numbers of working-class voters, particularly white working-class voters, long ago abandoned the Democratic Party in favor of the Republicans. [snip]

All of this soul-searching is happening now because the maniac Trump has hijacked a portion of the Republican base and is driving it off an electoral cliff. (He will clutch his own hand all the way down in the inevitable Thelma & Louise crash ending.)

Republican propaganda for decades pushed magical-thinking concepts like “trickle-down economics” that asked lower-income voters to accept present sacrifices for theoretical bigger payoffs down the road.

Until this year, Republican voters mostly bought it. But Trump was their way of telling their leaders they’re done waiting. They want their piece of the pie now, even if it means unleashing the Trumpinator to get it.

People have been conscious of the defection of working-class voters to the Republican Party for years, but this has always been dismissed as the consequence of skillfull propaganda. It’s the What’s the Matter With Kansas? creation story, i.e., that the white working class has been hoodwinked into going against its own economic interests thanks to cynical/backward appeals to race, religion and culture.

But that isn’t the whole story, as some leading Democrats are beginning to realize. Joe Biden went on Morning Joe a few weeks ago and admitted that “the Democratic Party over all hasn’t spoken enough to [working-class voters],” the “ordinary people busting their necks.” [snip]

The problem with all of this is that the Democrats went so far in the direction of advocacy for the global religion that they made something as idiotic as the rise of unabashed nativist Donald Trump possible.

Worse, Trump’s rise will give the Globalist Faith Militant an automatic argument for more time. They will decry any criticism of free trade or globalization as racist Trumpism, and Trump is such a galactic jackass that this will work, his vast inventory of offensive bleatings discrediting even the legitimate economic concerns of his voters.

But expecting American politicians to advocate first and foremost for their own constituents isn’t isolationism. It’s just rational self-interest, which neoliberals only seem to disbelieve in when it pertains to labor. Moreover we didn’t call movements to disinvest from South Africa or the Soviet Union “nativism.” We called that idealism.

Matt Bai is so stupid, so full of hate, he can’t see past his anti-Trump jingoism. If Matt Bai had an ounce of intellectual honesty he would praise Trump for telling the truth and fighting for the working class. But the left is so corrupt we cannot expect anything like honesty from their precincts.

As we wrote long ago, Donald J. Trump destroyed the Republican Party. Now Donald J. Trump builds the new GOP:

Consider, both major political parties for their own selfish reasons, seek to impose illegal immigration amnesty, common core, disaster trade policies such as TPP. Both parties are in cahoots on these issues. Donald J. Trump is against illegal immigration amnesty, common core, disaster trade policies.

The GOP establishment wants to sell the notion that the problem with Donald J. Trump is one of “tone” and bombastic “personality”. But the GOP establishment’s problem with Donald J. Trump is one of policy. That’s why there can be no peace. One must die for the other to live.

Donald J. Trump is against what both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party want to impose on this nation. Recall that many of the abominations of the Obama gangster government were birthed by Republicans. TARP, Common Core, bailouts, trade deals – were authored by George W. Bush and then co-authored by Barack Obama. ObamaCare? It used to be called RomneyCare.

Donald J. Trump is against what both the Democratic Party of Barack Obama and the Republican Party of George W. Bush have imposed on American citizens. The American people are against what the Democratic Party of Barack Obama and the Republican Party of George W. Bush have wrought. That’s why there is a New Republican Party rising.

Donald J. Trump, aided and abetted by the voters, will bring about a realignment – a New Republican Party.

The last three Donald J. Trump speeches are the building blocks of the New Republican Party. The first speech was a tough discussion on terrorism. The second speech is the one we focused on in Part I. This second speech was a direct appeal to black voters (and a clever way to appeal to white suburban voters who don’t want to be perceived as “racist”) and an attack on lobbyists and the “rigged system”. At the end of the second speech Trump summed it all up – an appeal to blacks and the poor and an attack on the rigged system that benefits the powerful political establishment:

Let’s talk about what this means for the inner cities of America. It’s time to break through the television noise, the entrenched interests. I understand that a lot of powerful people in our political system – a lot of people who’ve created our problems – will lose a lot of their contracts, and their special gigs, if African-American voters, and all minority voters, support my campaign.

It’s time to stop making the special interests rich. It’s time to make the American people rich.

I am going to Make America Wealthy Again.

The Democratic Party has run nearly every inner city in this country for 50 years, and run them into financial ruin.

They’ve ruined the schools.

They’ve driven out the jobs.

They’ve tolerated a level of crime no American should consider acceptable.

Violent crime has risen 17% in America’s 50 largest cities last year. Killings of police officers this year is up nearly 50 percent. Homicides are up more than 60% in Baltimore. They are up more than 50% in Washington, D.C.

This is the future offered by Hillary Clinton. More poverty, more crime, and more of the same. The future she offers is the most pessimistic thing I can possibly imagine.

It is time for a different future.

Here is what I am proposing.

First, on immigration. No community in this country has been hurt worse by Hillary Clinton’s immigration policies than the African-American community. Now she is proposing to print instant work permits for millions of illegal immigrants, taking jobs directly from low-income Americans. [snip]

On trade, I am going to renegotiate NAFTA, stand up to China, withdraw from the TPP, and protect every last American job.

On taxes, I am going to give a massive tax cut to every worker and small business in this country, bring thousands of new companies and millions of new jobs onto our shores – and make it very difficult for our businesses to leave.

I am going to reform our regulations so jobs stay in America, and new businesses come to America to hire workers right here in Milwaukee. Every policy my opponent has sends jobs overseas. I am going to bring trillions in new wealth back to the United States.

On education, it is time to have school choice, merit pay for teachers, and to end the tenure policies that hurt good teachers and reward bad teachers. We are going to put students and parents first.

Hillary Clinton would rather deny opportunities to millions of young African-American children, just so she can curry favor with the education bureaucracy.

I am going to allow charter schools to thrive, and help young kids get on the American ladder of success: a good education, and a good-paying job.

On crime, I am going to support more police in our communities, appoint the best prosecutors and judges in the country, pursue strong enforcement of federal laws, and I am going to break up the gangs, the cartels and criminal syndicates terrorizing our neighborhoods. To every lawbreaker hurting innocent people in this country, I say: your free reign will soon come crashing to an end.

On healthcare, we are going to get rid of Obamacare – which has caused soaring double-digit premium increases – and give choice to patients and consumers. Aetna, just today, announced they are dropping out – as are many of the major insurance companies.

On government corruption, I am going to restore honor to our government. We’ve seen the corruption of Hillary Clinton, the mass email deletions, the pay-for-play at the State Department, the profiteering, the favors given to foreign corporations and governments at your expense. We’ve seen a former Secretary of State lie to Congress about her illegal email scheme, risk innocent American lives, and bring dishonor onto our government.

In my Administration, I am going to enforce all laws concerning the protection of classified information. No one will be above the law.

I am going to forbid senior officials from trading favors for cash by preventing them from collecting lavish speaking fees through their spouses when they serve.

I am going to ask my senior officials to sign an agreement not to accept speaking fees from corporations with a registered lobbyist for five years after leaving office, or from any entity tied to a foreign government. This is all just the beginning.

We are going to make this a government of the people once again. This is our chance to take back power from all the people who’ve taken it from you. The reason you see the establishment media lining up behind my opponent is because they are scared that you, with your vote, can take away their power and return it to your family and community.

These are tough times. But I know we can make American Greater Than Ever Before.

To do this, we are going to need a fighter in the White House.

I will be your fighter. [snip]

The only individuals she’s ever delivered for is her donors – not the people.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. My opponent asks her supporters to repeat a three-word pledge. Her pledge reads: “I’m With Her”

I choose to recite a different pledge. My pledge reads: “I’m With You – the American people.”

I will fight to ensure that every American is treated equally, protected equally, and honored equally. We will reject bigotry and hatred and oppression in all of its forms, and seek a new future of security, prosperity and opportunity – a future built on our common culture and values as one American people.

I am asking for your vote so I can be your champion in the White House. We will once again be a country of law and order, and a country of great success.

To every parent who dreams for their children, and to every child who dreams for their future, I say these words to you tonight: I’m with you, I will fight for you, and I will win for you.

Together, We Will Make America Strong Again.

We Will Make American Safe Again.

And We Will Make America Great Again.

That’s a New Republican Party speech not an old GOP speech. The third Trump speech is of a like manner. An outstanding line from the third speech is Trump taking on both parties and allocating a share of the blame to the Republican Party. The entire speech is a summation of the two earlier speeches:

On Monday, I laid out my plan to defeat Radical Islamic Terrorism.

On Tuesday, in Wisconsin, I talked about how we are going to restore law and order to this country. [snip]

I speak the truth for all of you, and for everyone in this country who doesn’t have a voice.

I speak the truth on behalf of the factory worker who lost his or her job.

I speak the truth on behalf of the Veteran who has been denied the medical care they need – and so many are not making it. They are dying.

I speak the truth on behalf of the family living near the border that deserves to be safe in their own country but is instead living with no security at all.

Our campaign is about representing the great majority of Americans – Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Conservatives and Liberals – who read the newspaper, or turn on the TV, and don’t hear anyone speaking for them. All they hear are insiders fighting for insiders.

These are the forgotten men and women in our society, and they are angry at so much on so many levels. The poverty, the unemployment, the failing schools, the jobs moving to other countries.

I am fighting for these forgotten Americans.

Trump also addressed the world he comes from which helps to explain the departure of Paul Manafort and Corey Lewandowski as well as the new team Trump has assembled. A builder like Trump understands that you hire the crane operator only for as long as she is needed, once the job is done, the project moves forward. Manafort’s job was to appease the Republican establishment during the Republican convention and to make sure Trump secured the delegates for the convention. Manafort did his job. Now a new team was needed.

In the world of Trump you do your job. The mission comes first. The excavator arrives to dig the earth so the foundation can be laid and once that job is done the excavators leave. The iron workers arrive to build the skeletal frame then the iron workers leave. The bricklayers arrive to their job followed by the contractors who border rooms with their plasterboard, followed by the carpenters, painters, floor installers, electricians, and eventually the tenants.

Trump comes from a world of easy to see achievements:

In the world I come from, if something is broken, you fix it.

If something isn’t working, you replace it.

If a product doesn’t deliver, you make a change.

I have no patience for injustice, no tolerance for government incompetence, no sympathy for leaders who fail their citizens.

That’s why I am running: to end the decades of bitter failure and to offer the American people a new future of honesty, justice and opportunity. A future where America, and its people, always – and I mean always – come first.

Aren’t you tired of a system that gets rich at your expense?

Aren’t you tired of the same old lies and the same old broken promises? And Hillary Clinton has proven to be one of the greatest liars of all time.

Aren’t you tired of arrogant leaders who look down on you, instead of serving and protecting you?

That is all about to change – and it’s about to change soon. We are going to put the American people first again. [snip]

Instead, every story is told from the perspective of the insiders. It’s the narrative of the people who rigged the system, never the voice of the people it’s been rigged against.

So many people suffering in silence. No cameras, no coverage, no outrage from a media class that seems to get outraged over just about everything else.

So again, it’s not about me. It’s never been about me. It’s about all the people in this country who don’t have a voice.

I am running to be their voice.

I am running to be the voice for every forgotten part of this country that has been waiting and hoping for a better future.

I am glad that I make the powerful a little uncomfortable now and again – INCLUDING SOME POWERFUL PEOPLE IN MY OWN PARTY. Because it means I am fighting for real change.

There’s a reason the hedge fund managers, the financial lobbyists, the Wall Street investors, are throwing their money at Hillary Clinton. Because they know she will make sure the system stays rigged in their favor.

It’s the powerful protecting the powerful.

The insiders fighting for the insiders.

I am fighting for you.

Them’s fighting words. Trump is birthing a New Republican Party with appeals to all the disaffected.

Perhaps that is why Trump is rising in the polls nationally and in Pennsylvania.

One last point, the rope-a-dope. While Hillary has disappeared more or less from the campaign trail, on most days Donald Trump is active every day. Trump and Hillary both knew that the stupid Olympic games (can’t we rid ourselves of this silliness or relegate the games to every ten years?) would suck up the news cycle. Hillary effectively disappeared during this period. Trump’s strategy has been to soak up attention with campaign appearances in state after state knowing he could break on local television through the sports fog.

But Donald J. Trump’s most audacious rope-a-dope strategy, the most nerve racking strategy, has been to rely on free attention from Big Media and not spend cash this summer season. Hillary2016 by contrast has spent money hand over fist which has led to higher poll ratings. The results are classic Muhammad Ali rope-a-dope:

Trump’s campaign spending at half the rate of Clinton’s

Donald Trump doubled his campaign expenses last month yet was still spending at a far slower clip than Hillary Clinton.

New finance documents show the Republican presidential nominee’s campaign spent about $18.5 million in July. By comparison, the Democratic presidential nominee spent about $38 million.

Boxer Muhammad Ali had a boxing strategy. Knowing his opponent’s strength and fully aware of that power, Ali went to the ropes surrounding the boxing ring. There, Ali took blow after blow, brutal punch after brutal punch. Ali only jabbing back sufficiently to convince the referee that he was still able to fight so the ref would not end the fight. Ali, in his “protective stance” against the ropes encouraged the beating delivered by his opponent, who now sells hamburger grills. Ali, took to the ropes to rope himself a dope. “The plan is to cause the opponent to punch himself out and make mistakes which the boxer can then exploit in a counter-attack.” Compare Ali, to Trump:

At the time some observers thought that Ali was being horribly beaten and worried that they might see him get killed in the ring. [snip] However, far from being brutalized, Ali was relatively protected from Foreman’s blows. Norman Mailer described the advantage of Ali’s rope-a-dope this way: “Standing on one’s feet, it is painful to absorb a heavy body punch even when blocked with one’s arm. The torso, the legs and the spine take the shock. Leaning on the ropes, however, Ali can pass it along; the rope will receive the strain.”[2] Ali’s preparation for the fight, which involved toughening himself up by allowing his sparring partners to pummel him, contributed to observers’ sense that Ali was outmatched. But when Foreman became tired from the beating he was delivering, Ali took advantage and won the match.

The dumb observers were wrong. Like Ali, Donald J. Trump has been considered out for the count. But like Ali, Trump comes out punching at a time of his choosing, in accord with his strategy. The time to punch forward starts this week, just before Labor Day as attention to political campaigns increases, as the Olympic tomfoolery ends.

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

The Wrath Of Khizr Khan: The Polls And @RealDonaldTrump

The “medium is the message”. That angry Khan at the Dim convention? He helped Trump. The polls? We’ll look at those today then discuss why the Dim convention was a fail and why Trump does so well.

Recently, in our comments section, the full perfidy of Reuters and its polls was discussed. On Twitter some carried our analysis forth:

To summarize our analysis, the Reuters poll, as with most election “reportage” by Reuters, skews dramatically against Donald J. Trump. Reuters has confessed that it’s polls have been skewed against Trump, although even in that confession they lie. Reuters wrote, Reuters/Ipsos poll probably underreported Trump’s support before the Republican convention, perhaps by 3 to 5 percentage points. The canny poll watcher M. Joseph Sheppard notes that as late as July 14 Reuters reported Trump was behind Hillary Clinton by 15 points whereas Reuters claimed 12 points. The claim by Reuters that Trump support was “underreported” only 3-5 points is a further lie.

The Treehouse Last Refuge picked up and regurgitated our analysis. Our analysis is exactly correct. Reuters pushed its sleazy polls as gospel, even as the massive outlier skew made a joke out of the poll averages. Only when the Reuters phony polls began to, allegedly, help Donald J. Trump did Reuters dramatically confess it had to change the poll methodology. When Trump was hurt by the phony polls, Reuters ho-hum-ed. When Trump was allegedly helped, it was an all points alarm need to change the poll methodology.

After the latest “fix”, Reuters happily issued a new poll with Trump once again behind. Reuters is a horses behind. Reuters is not to be believed and its polls should not be included in poll averages in any honest amalgamation of polls. But even with the new Reuters poll skewing the average, Trump at worst is tied – 44.3 to 44.3 (except that when third party candidates are included, Trump is ahead).

There are plenty of outliar polls. Last Thursday the Suffolk poll declared Trump was 9 points behind in Pennsylvania. That same poll placed Republican Senate incumbent Toomey 7 points behind his challenger. In 14 polls taken in the Pennsylvania Senate race, Toomey has led in 12 polls. Conclusion? The Suffolk poll is garbage.

So what is going on with the polls? Trump hater or at least skeptic, Sean Trende gets and gives a clue:

Back in the summer of 2015, when Donald Trump rode down the escalator in Trump Tower, the debate was not about whether he would win the Republican nomination, much less the presidency. It was about whether he would even file his papers. He did.

The debate quickly coalesced around how many weeks he would last. Weeks turned into months, as he quickly took the lead in the polls. The debate then shifted to how soon he would become this cycle’s Herman Cain, who led in the polls briefly in 2011 before collapsing, followed by confident predictions about why his insensitive comments about Megyn Kelly, John McCain and a variety of minority groups would lead to his downfall. At the end of 2015, he had led in the polls for months. [snip]

As we moved into the primary season, we debated just how low the ceiling on his poll numbers would be, why he would begin to lose as candidates dropped out, why his continued losses in debates (in the eyes of pundits) would tank his chances of winning, why his followers wouldn’t show up to vote, how various states wouldn’t prove to be well-suited for him, and so forth. [snip]

Since Trump’s nomination, we’ve heard that Hillary Clinton would wrap up the race after Trump’s comment about Judge Gonzalo Curiel, or after Sanders endorsed Clinton, or after Trump’s supposedly disastrous convention. We’ve heard about how he is effectively stuck at 40 percent in the polls and would have a hard time pulling ahead.

Now we are in the post-convention phase of the campaign. Trump leads by .2 percent in the RCP Average and has cleared 44 percent of the vote. FiveThirtyEight gives Trump a 46.1 percent chance of winning overall and a 54.5 percent chance of winning on Election Day, if things look then the way they do today. Yet we continue to hear arguments as to why he just won’t win: She’ll move into the lead after her convention, or after the debates, or when people go into the polls and have a final soul-searching moment.

At a certain point, the goalposts have got to stop moving. It should be obvious by this point that, yes, there really is a winning Trump coalition with a non-trivial chance of coming together. I don’t think the evidence compels a conclusion that Trump is going to win, but the fact that he really might do so strikes me as undeniable.

Nevertheless, echoing the commentary about the Brexit vote in England, there seems to be vehement resistance to serious suggestions that Trump might emerge victorious. Even among analysts who concede there’s a real chance Trump can win, almost all of them seem to think Clinton will eventually pull it out. This is the equivalent of everyone concluding that the opening possession in a game is determined by a coin toss, but then unanimously declaring that the coin will come up heads. [snip]

The point here is not that Trump is guaranteed to win. Clinton maintains a large advertising and organizational advantage over Trump. But she has already dumped $50 million in unanswered advertising on his head, with little movement in the polls. [snip]

No one really knows where the race is going to be in a week, to say nothing of where it will be in November. What I do know is that if you still don’t believe Trump has a very real chance of winning this, you are deeply in denial.

Trump skeptic Dylan Byers picks up on the question of gamblers and “the odds” of Trump winning:

Why Playing the Odds Underestimates Trump’s Chances

The first error, unconscious rounding, happens when someone sees a probability greater than 50 percent and rounds it up to a near certainty or looks at a probability under 50 percent and treats it as a near impossibility. For example, about a month ago I thought Trump had about a 25 percent chance of winning the general election (with the caveat that these probabilities change over time). When I told my Clinton-supporting friends this, they often reacted with sighs of relief, believing Trump was toast if he only had a one-in-four chance of winning.

But events with a 25 percent chance happen all the time. Flip two coins — if both come up heads, you’ve seen an event with a 25 percent probability happen right in front of you. So if a model says Trump has a 40 percent chance of winning, it’s important not to round that down mentally and feel comfortable about the prospects of a Clinton win. A 40 percent chance means a Trump victory is more likely than rolling a one or a two with a six-sided die, and I doubt very many readers would feel comfortable betting something important on the prospect of rolling less than three on a six-sided die.

Second, people forget that presidential elections aren’t blackjack — there are no repeated trials. To see why this matters, suppose you have a blackjack strategy that gives you a 51 percent chance of winning each hand. If you sit at the table all night, you’ll lose a lot of hands. But over the course of the night your winnings should slowly accumulate, and you’ll eventually be able to walk away from the table richer. In other words, over time, you should feel quite comfortable that you’ll come out ahead.

But a 51 percent chance of victory means something very different with a single test. Imagine that you have the same strategy, but that you only get one hand and you’re forced to go all in on it. Suddenly, your 51 percent strategy isn’t so helpful – you’d likely be very concerned about losing everything. In fact, a strategy that has a 55 percent or 60 percent chance of success wouldn’t be very comforting either. Even with those odds, it would be very easy to lose a single hand, and lose everything you owned.

That’s why a 55 or 60 percent chance of winning shouldn’t be too comforting to Clinton or her supporters — this election will only happen once. Clinton and Trump only get to play one hand, and they’re both all in.

The odds and the “maths” as Karl Rove bragged about, are not something we particularly care about. We care more about the zeitgeist and positioning. Not “positions” positioning. Trump has positioned himself as the CHANGE candidate in a change election and Hillary Clinton is positioned by herself and her campaign as the Obama Third Term. Trump is positioned well. Hillary with all her many “position papers” and toilet paper issues is positioned badly.

* * * * * *

Lately we quote mainly from Trump haters because even they realize how stupid they are and how badly positioned they are in their #NeverTrump crazy crusade. Trump hater Ben Domenech:

Do The Democrats Realize They Could Lose? [snip]

They are making a similar mistake to those of Trump’s primary opponents – they don’t realize that Trump is a different kind of candidate, and the normal anti-Republican playbook just doesn’t work on him.

Over at Trump hater central, the National Review, the fire bells are ringing louder than a Judy Garland musical. Trump will win say the #NeverTrump:

Hillary Clinton has outspent Donald Trump in unprecedented fashion. Her endorsements bury Trump’s. The Obama administration is doing its best to restore her viability. The media are outdoing their 2008 liberal prejudices. And yet in John Connally delegate fashion, Clinton’s vast expenditures of $100 million plus have so far earned her only a tiny, if any, lead in most recent polls. If each point of approval is calibrated by dollars spent, Trump’s fly-by-night campaign is ahead. [snip]

Pollsters, gamers, insiders — everyone, really — have written his political epitaph for over a year. Rarely have conservative voices at mainstream-media outlets vowed not to support the Republican nominee. And yet the longer he stays viable, the more likely it is that Trump has a real chance at winning the presidency, which may already be a veritable 50/50 proposition. So why is the supposedly impossible at least now imaginable?

1. Not a Typical Populist [snip]

By any definition, Trump is not a classical populist. His traction derives from opposing unchecked and cynical illegal immigration, not diverse and measured legal immigration. And he is rebelling not so much against a flabby, sclerotic status quo as against a radical, even revolutionary regime of elites who are now well beyond accustomed norms. It is hardly radical to oppose the Confederate doctrine of legal nullification in more than 300 sanctuary cities, or a de facto open border with Mexico, or doubling the national debt in eight years, or ruining the nation’s health-care system with the most radical reconstruction in the history of American health-care policy, or systematically running huge trade deficits with an autocratic China that does not adhere to international norms of free trade and predicates expanding political and military power in the South China Sea on its commercial mercantilism. [snip]

2. Obama Nihilism

Do not underestimate the volatility of Barack Obama’s popularity. As long as Obama keeps silent and out of the limelight, he nears 50 percent in approval ratings. The moment he returns to the fray (and he always does, as a June bug to a patio light), he instinctively reverts to his natural divisive and polarizing self, as evidenced in his disastrous reactions to the Dallas police shootings, and his politically suicidal post-Dallas courting of Al Sharpton (who used to call on supporters to “off” police) and of the architects of Black Lives Matter. It is likely that Obama, to cement a hard progressive legacy in the next four months, will only double down on his gratuitous pandering, and therefore will see his poll numbers return to the low or mid-40s. That may help Trump seem an antidote rather than an obsequious continuance.

3. Two Sorts of Elitists [snip]

The popular furor is not directed at the rich per se, but rather at the perception of cultural snobbishness and hypocrisy among those who romanticize the always-distant poor, as they favor the always-proximate rich, and caricature the despised middle class that lacks the taste of the latter and the appeal of the former. Trump’s in-your-face tastes and brashness are vulgar in the pure Roman sense, and his accent and demeanor are not those of the cultural elite, or even of the dignified Mitt Romney–type moneyed bluestockings. In contrast, Hillary, like Obama, talks down to Americans on how they ought to think, speak, and act. Trump seems to like them just as they are.

Victor Davis Hanson accurately describes the atmospherics and the positioning this election cycle. For instance, Trump doesn’t have to “win” the black vote. All Trump has to do is keep his black support strong enough to simply stay home and not vote for Hillary Clinton. A “meh” black voter who does not vote is all Trump need to spell disaster for Hillary2016. Hillary Clinton needs a massive black turnout and a massive black turnout vote for her. This will be difficult. As we have long argued, Obama’s “coalition” is a cult of personality that cannot be transferred. That’s why in 2010 and 2014 Democrats were slaughtered at the ballot box. VDH advances his argument to the election itself:

4. Election Formulas

It is not assured that Clinton can replicate Obama’s formula of record-high minority-voter turnout and bloc voting. More importantly, in a few key states Trump may win 25 to 28 percent of the Latino vote and perhaps 10 percent of the black vote, while Clinton might not capture even 35 percent of the so-called white vote. A surprisingly high minority of blacks and Hispanics do not feel Trump is a nativist or xenophobe, given that illegal immigration is often perceived as putting a strain on scarce social services, imperiling already poor schools, and driving down both wages and the availability of entry-level jobs. Trump’s El Jefeism plays well when juxtaposed to Clinton’s suburban namby-pamby falsity or her unhinged demonization of coal miners and gun owners. The numbers of minority voters in key states who quietly vote Trump need not be great, but rather only must top by 2 or 3 percentage points the disastrous McCain and Romney levels of 2008 and 2012, given the likely historic percentage of white voters that Trump may win. Media elites are in denial over this possibility. [snip]

5. Crimes and Misdemeanors [snip]

That she was not charged only made the FBI seem absurd: offering a damning hooved, horned, pitchforked, and forked-tailed portrait of someone mysteriously not a denizen of Hell. Add in the Clinton Foundation syndicate and the fact that lies are lies and often do not fade so easily, and Hillary in the next 15 weeks may average one “liar” and “crooked” disclosure each week — at a rate that even the Trump tax returns and Trump University cannot keep up with.

6. Four Months until the Election

The tumultuous news cycle — Dallas, Paris, Turkey, Baton Rouge — creates anxieties and a general sense that the nation and indeed the world are in chaos — and without any guidance from the White House. Such a vague foreboding that something has to give to avert catastrophe may favor Trump abroad and at home — especially if he can muzzle himself in times of enormous gift-giving from the Clinton campaign. Obama is a lame-duck president who is perceived as weak, vacillating, and ambiguous about his own country’s role in the world — a world that includes Russia, ISIS, China, North Korea, and Iran. The odds are even that at least one of the above in the next few months will feel that it has a rare opportunity to readjust the regional status quo, or at least will have a psychological impetus to try something stupid to humiliate Obama and the U.S. as payback for seven years of his empty sanctimoniousness. Either way, Trump could benefit, given that Hillary is a perceived tool of Obama’s therapeutic foreign policy. Tragically, at home, in the next few months ISIS may re-emerge, and racial relations are not likely to ameliorate, as Hillary straddles a politically correct tiger that she can neither dismount nor safely ride. [snip]

7. Extremism [snip]

It may well be that voters would prefer a brash-talking pragmatist to sober and judicious ideologues. Sloppy talk about temporarily limiting immigration from the Middle East is not so injurious as contrived efforts never to utter the phrase “radical Islam.” Clinton, Obama, and Sanders have moved the Democratic party radically to the left; Trump in some areas has pushed the Republican party to the center. The voter terrified of ISIS, record debt, the spiraling cost of his health care, perceived U.S. decline, and the seemingly violent racial Balkanization of the country — but not terrified of gay marriage or tough trade talks with China — may find Clinton, not Trump, the true radical.

8. Polls

If the polls are off a bit in this warped election year, they are more likely to err on Hillary’s side. [snip]

9. Converts and Apostates

The relative closeness of polling in key swing states already suggests that the Reagan Democrats and other Trump converts may either be more numerous than the Never Trump establishment or at least more numerous outside of coastal, and electorally irrelevant, blue states like California and New York — and thus more significant as swing-state adjudicators. In addition, traditional media, in which Never Trump views are most frequently aired, are themselves growing ossified and do not reach voters to the same degree as outlets like the Drudge Report, Breitbart News, and talk radio. [snip]

10. The Screech-Owl Factor

For all his lack of discipline, the media-seasoned Trump is still the better and more robust campaigner. [snip]

Heartfelt recklessness can sometimes wear better than packaged sobriety.

* * *

Finally, it is suicidal to descend into the muck to battle Trump. Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz all tried and failed, despite the fact that they had every moral justification in hitting back in like kind. [snip]

Brawlers know the rules of the street far better than establishmentarians. [snip]

Ask the trash-talking Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg if she came out on top in dueling with Trump — or whether she virtually destroyed a quarter-century’s reputation in minutes and ended up no better than an elderly version of Rosie O’Donnell in a Supreme Court Justice costume.

Throw in the “secret vote” we have described in the 2010 and 2014 elections in the United States; as well as the elections throughout Europe, most recently the Brexit vote, and the “secret vote” looms large:

Liberal pollster Celinda Lake is warning of a “secret Trump vote” which she discerned from differences between automated and live surveys conducted for the general election match-up.

“The pattern is in the online surveys, even if you control for demographics, Trump does three to nine points better than in telephone surveys,” Lake said in an interview with the Washington Examiner. She also believes that there are many blue-collar white voters who typically don’t vote in elections who might be interested in supporting Trump’s unconventional Republican campaign.

Lake’s concerns are important in the light of an extensive analysis by the New York Times which found that exit polling techniques significantly underestimate the number of lower-middle class white Americans and that they are much more important to Democrats than less comprehensive research had indicated. According to the Times report, these “missing white voters” tend to be younger, less religious, and lean Democratic.

We’ve spoken to our Bern-out friends. The Bernie Sanders supporters we spoke with really, really, hate Hillary. Those Bern-outs we spoke with were rabid Obama fans in 2008 and less so in 2012. But in 2016 they still hate Hillary. Others have spoken with the Bern-outs, with same results:

Today I met the mythical, Trump supporting Bernie Bro [snip]

Then I saw two young men – I’m guessing late twenties – lighting up cigarettes by the wall a ways down from the entrance and I overheard one of them saying, I decided today. I don’t care anymore. I’m going with Trump.

The guy had some Bernie stickers and that definitely caught my attention, so I approached and introduced myself. I asked if he would mind if I asked a few quick questions. (No. No problem.) I also asked if I could use his name and/or get a picture. (Nope. Don’t need that kind of trouble.) After confirming that he was a Bernie supporter and alternate delegate, I got down to business.

Was he not giving any consideration to voting for Hillary? Nope. Never intended to vote for Hillary, wasn’t going to change now. [snip]

I’m not worried. We’ll get by like we always do no matter who wins. As for Donald Trump, I know this sounds bad but… I really just want to see what happens.”

In 1992, Americans decided to take a chance on a little known Arkansas governor with a shady personal life, for president. Americans were fed up and wanted CHANGE. Bill Clinton won.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton is the “stay the course” candidate, the Obama Third Term calamity Jane.

Which brings us to the Wrath of Khan and the stupidity of Hillary2016. The DNC convention was a calamity Big Media describes as a great success. But Big Media should reread McLuhan. “The Medium is the Message.”

At the DNC the attempt was made to label Donald J. Trump as some sort of lunatic. The DNC, to orgasms from Big Media, dragged a Muslim on stage to attack Trump. The Muslim lost his American soldier son and baited Trump. But anyone with eyes watching teleVISION was disgusted. Our comments section offers an explanation:

Lu4PUMA, you hit on the reason why the wrath of Khan played to Trump’s strength. Once again we repeat, “the medium is the message”. Most voters who witnessed Khan’s temper tantrum took two lessons from the appearance. Lesson 1, Khan was angry and that just confirms the bias of Muslims as angry. Lesson 2, Khan’s wife covered up in shame as Islam does to women.

The “medium” is television. The message is what you saw, not what they said. What was seen? An angry Muslim male and his silent covered up unhappy woman property.

We’ll end our polling discussion with Hillary Clinton supporter Doug Schoen:

Hillary Clinton, Underdog
Even after Philadelphia, the momentum of the race to the White House points in Trump’s direction.

After what even critics said was a highly effective Democratic National Convention, Hillary Clinton appears to have emerged as . . . the underdog. [snip]

The 2016 election is trending toward Donald Trump. [snip]

This is pretty astounding, considering that Clinton & Co. has spent $57 million on ads thus far—$25 million from the campaign and $32 million from super PACs. Team Trump has put up only $3.6 million in ads, all from outside groups.

Hillary Clinton as underdog is a consequence of the disastrous decision to run as the Obama Third Term. Two thirds of the country believes we are on the wrong track. The Obama economy is a mess. Crime continues to rise. Police officers are targets of the racist Black Lives Matter thugs the Hillary Clinton campaign embraces. Muslim terrorists rampage across the European continent in an expanding war sure to once again scorch America. Yet the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign host an angry Muslim to attack Donald J. Trump.

As November elections approach 100 days hence, Americans will vote their own wrath against Barack Obama, the Obama Third Term, and the modern day Khans.

Kiss Of Death: Obama Endorses #Hillary2016 – For Now

Take your clothes off, pour sugar water over yourself, then visit a Zika mosquito swamp. That’s the Hillary2016 strategy.

An argument could be made that an endorsement of Hillary2016 by Barack Obama could have been useful early in the primary season. But now? No.

It’s mid June, election day is less than five months away. Now is not the time to embrace Barack Obama. In all honesty we don’t think it is ever the time to go near ol’ stinky, but there is scant evidence for an Obama hug at this point. Look at the news and see why.

George Soros, the leftist loon, is “shorting stocks, buying gold” because he thinks the Obama economy is in bad shape. Goldman Sachs predicts a “big market selloff” with no “place to hide”. The May jobs report was a catastrophe which even Hillary2016 found “disappointing”. The financial press optimistically declares a “summer panic” about to sweep the markets – and that’s without serious consideration of the big Brexit earthquake. Janus Capital is straight faced about what they see:

This is when Hillary Clinton decides to tour with the Zika mosquito? Winner? Donald J. Trump who has more evidence for his coming attack against Hillary as the “Obama Third Term”.

Is there a functioning brain at Hillary2016? No. Let’s look at the evidence.

For a long while now we have been assured that, as is traditional in presidential campaigns, Hillary would move to the left for the primaries then move to the center for the general. But if it is true that Hillary Clinton will campaign for, er, with Barack Obama in the coming weeks this is an indication that Hillary intends to go deeper and deeper into the fever Zika swamps of the left.

Why would Hillary embrace Obama now even more than she has embraced Obama throughout primary season? An argument could have been made that Obama would have helped Hillary finish off Bernie Sanders if Obama had endorsed Hillary early in the primary cycle. But now? When Hillary supposedly has defeated Bernie Sanders? Hillary doesn’t need Obama if we are to believe that Hillary has the delegates to nominate her.

Perhaps the consideration is party unity and solidify the “Obama coalition”? As we have argued since 2007 the “Obama coalition” is a joke audience more appropriate for a network TV programmer of a “situation comedy“. But even if the “Obama coalition” could be taken seriously the fact is that the monstrosity has been shattered. The young white voters that comprised the “Obama coalition” split to Bernie Sanders and that is why Hillary campaigned almost exclusively in black precincts in state after state as the only way to defeat Saint Bernard.

The facts about the abomination called the “Obama coalition” is even more dire for Hillary2016. Since 2007 we made the argument in many installments of “Mistake in ’08” that the Clinton coalition which focused on the white working class was the winning coalition. This week the New York Times shattered any delusion that we might have been wrong. Yup, it’s the white working class, stupid:

There Are More White Voters Than People Think. That’s Good News for Trump.

One of the biggest reasons Donald Trump is considered to be a long shot to win the presidency is the diversity of the country. As Joe Scarborough of MSNBC put it, “There are not enough white voters in America for Donald Trump to win while getting routed among minorities.”

But a growing body of evidence suggests that there is still a path, albeit a narrow one, for Mr. Trump to win without gains among nonwhite voters.New analysis by The Upshot shows that millions more white, older working-class voters went to the polls in 2012 than was found by exit polls on Election Day. This raises the prospect that Mr. Trump has a larger pool of potential voters than generally believed.

The race-baiters of the left who called Hillary and Bill Clinton “racists” in 2008 will, along with Hillary and Bill Clinton try to race-bait Trump on the basis of his appeal to white voters. But Trump’s appeal to Latinos and black voters is very surprising at this point and will likely increase, so the race-baiting will not work against Trump. Also, the registration efforts geared towards Latinos have thus far failed. And that New York Times article which corroborates our many articles on the importance of the white working class will not be shunted aside. Even the Trump haters at HotAir understand it’s significance. This latest analysis deserves a great deal of scrutiny from the dummies at Hillary2016:

The wider path may help explain why Mr. Trump is competitive in early general election surveys against Hillary Clinton. And it calls into question the prevailing demographic explanation of recent elections, which held that Barack Obama did very poorly among whites and won only because young and minority voters turned out in record numbers. This story line led Republicans to conclude that they had maximized their support from white voters and needed to reach out to Hispanics to win in 2016.

Those previous conclusions emerged from exit polls released on election night. The new data from the census, voter registration files, polls and the finalized results tells a subtly different story with potential consequences for the 2016 election.

The data implies that Mr. Obama was not as weak among white voters as typically believed. He fared better than his predecessors among white voters outside the South. Demographic shifts weren’t so important: He would have been re-elected even with an electorate as old and white as it was in 2004. Latino voters did not put Mr. Obama over the top, as many argued in the days after Mr. Obama’s re-election. He would have won even if he had done as poorly among Latino voters as John Kerry.

This is all good news for Mr. Trump. There’s more room for him to make gains among white working-class voters than many assumed — enough to win without making gains among nonwhite or college-educated white voters.

The post 2012 election analysis by the Republican Party was put together by Jeb Bush and Paul Ryan shills who sought to twist the direction of the GOP to a direction favorable to these hapless fools. Donald J. Trump did the smart thing and ignored that junk study in favor of a strong defense of the white working class and jobs, jobs, jobs. Jeb Bush and Paul Ryan drank their own bad data kool-aid and now Hillary Clinton is slurping the same poison:

When you hear about the demographic challenges facing the Republican Party, almost all of the data comes from exit polls: surveys conducted with tens of thousands of voters at precincts across the country on Election Day, along with a supplemental telephone survey with early voters.

The exit polls are excellent surveys. But like any survey, they’re imperfect. The problem is that analysts, including me, have treated the exit polls like a precise account of the electorate. [snip]

The voter file data used for analysis here comes from Catalist, a Democratic data firm that offers an academic subscription. Researchers have found that the data is unbiased and more accurate than public voting records.

These sources show a 2012 electorate that was far whiter, older and less educated than the exit polls indicated.

Over all, the exit polls suggest that 23 percent of voters in 2012 were white, over age 45 and without a college degree. Catalist puts this group at 29 percent, and the census at 30 percent — implying 10 million more voters than the 23 percent figure

This latest analysis has real world consequences in 2016 battleground states:

Take Ohio, where the exit polls show that the black share of the electorate increased by four percentage points to more than 15 percent of voters in 2012. If these figures are taken as precise, it would imply that nearly 250,000 more black voters turned out than in 2008, with the turnout reaching 88 percent of adult black citizens. There is no trace of this kind of surge in turnout in the actual result. The black turnout in Cleveland actually dropped — to 55 percent of adult citizens.

This type of story repeats itself across the battlegrounds. It also plays out with age, where the exit polls imply that youth turnout was higher than turnout among seniors; with education, where the exit polls show that more college graduates voted than actually live in America; or Hispanics, where the exit polls show that white and Hispanic turnout was nearly equal, despite decades of evidence to the contrary.

We can hear the howls of those that ask us why we can’t “give Hillary her day.” But dumb is dumb. Hillary Clinton’s embrace of Barack Obama is plain ol’ dumb. Dumb. Dumb:

The larger number of white working-class voters implies that Democrats are far more dependent on winning white working-class voters, and therefore more vulnerable to a populist candidate like Mr. Trump. [snip]

Mr. Obama’s dependence among white voters might seem surprising in light of the 2012 postelection consensus. But it won’t be surprising if you think just a little further back — to the pre-election story line. Mr. Obama’s advantage heading into the election was thought to be a “Midwestern Firewall” — a big edge in Midwestern battlegrounds where white working-class voters supported the auto bailout and were skeptical of Mr. Romney, who was criticized for his time at Bain Capital.

The pre-election story line was tossed aside when the national exit polls showed an electorate that was even more diverse than it was in 2008, while showing Mr. Obama faring worse among white voters than any Democrat since Walter Mondale in 1984.

Mitt Romney and John McCain lost because they did not fight against Barack Obama strongly. Mitt Romney and John McCain lost because they did not inspire the white working class to vote in great numbers for them. Mitt Romney in particular was too weak and did not take on Barack Obama. Barack Obama got enough white working class votes to win over weak Romney and McCain. The white working class wanted a leader and all they got was a dog on the car roof.

All the “demographics” future nonsense the left deluded itself with has now deluded Hillary2016. There is not a functioning brain at Hillary2016 that read the New York Times blockbuster report. Hillary Clinton needs to embrace the Clinton coalition and the white working class component of that winning coalition – not the Zika virus Obola Obama. The demographics nonsense we debunked in 2007 is now debunked by the New York Times:

Demographics Overrated. The data implies that demographic shifts played a somewhat smaller role in Mr. Obama’s re-election than the postelection narrative suggested. Even if the electorate were as old and as white as it was in 2004, Mr. Obama would have won, because of the gains he made among white voters in states like New Mexico, Colorado and Iowa.

Hispanic voters played only a modest role in Mr. Romney’s defeat. They cost him Florida — a must-win state for Republicans, but also the closest contest. Elsewhere, Mr. Obama would have easily survived even if Mr. Romney had equaled George W. Bush’s 2004 share of Hispanic voters.

All of this is good news for a Republican who intends to win with greater strength among white working-class voters, like Mr. Trump. [snip]

To win, Mr. Trump will need to make gains among white working-class voters. The earliest evidence, and polling this early can be quite inaccurate, suggests that he is doing that handily.

Hillary2016 needs white voters. The very voters Trump appeals to much more than Mitt Romney and John McCain. So why campaign as an Obama third term with Barack Obama? It’s not as if Hillary will be running against McCain or Romney. If Hillary Clinton is nominated, her opponent will not be cowed by “racist” taunts nor embarrassed to court the white working class vote.

Have we changed our opinion that Hillary Clinton will not be nominated? No. If anything when dealing with a treacherous viper like Barack Obama and his lantern-jawed wife we immediately suspect that what Obama says is the opposite of what Obama does. We’re not alone. At the Obama supporter website Althouse, the thinking is “I think this Barack Obama campaigning for Hillary is cover. She’s going to get indicted.” “He knows she’s going to get indicted. He’ll be able to say, ‘I didn’t know. Why would I be campaigning for her?'”

Picture this scenario: Just before the convention, or during the convention, something happens to derail Hillary Clinton. Maybe that’s why after Obama met with Bernie Sanders yesterday he then met with the Attorney General to lynch Hillary? At this point, after something derails Hillary, Bernie Sanders says he should be the nominee. Joe Biden says he should be the nominee. Corrupt Cuomo and others think they should be the nominee. Up steps Barack and says “I supported Hillary (after she had the delegates and did not need me) and campaigned with Hillary. But Hillary has got to go. We also cannot afford the chaos of so many candidates running. So here’s my candidate which I have not plotted for years to nominate no matter what HillaryIs44 says!” Barack can add “Hillary will not object to this and as proof look how I stole delegates from her in 2008 and the bitch still backed me.”

Of course it might be easier to replace Hillary after the convention, away from the public eye, as was done to Tom Eagleton.

Before, during, after the convention, all Hillary Clinton can expect from Barack Obama is treachery. Why Hillary Clinton embraces this bloodsucking mosquito and his disaster economic failures is a mystery.

Obama simply cannot be trusted. Obama cannot be trusted on any issue. Obama cannot be trusted by his friends. Obama cannot be trusted by his enemies. Obama cannot be trusted.

Tapestries Move – Plus, Phony #DemDebate; @RealDonaldTrump Vs. Marco Rubio And Tony Rezko

This election gets dull. It grows duller by the day. It was exciting. It was real exciting. But now we are in the mop up operation stage. So it is dull – unless you are the guy with the broom sweeping up after the parade went by.

Last week we saw shocking news. Few took notice. The few that noticed did not get the meaning. A late week innocuous bit of news meant to hide and not be noticed. We saw the tapestry move. It was a subtle ripple of the tapestry but the tapestry moved. The players hiding behind the tapestry were busy. Did you see it? Did you see the significance?

That subtle wave caused by frantic maneuvers behind the tapestry should have been noticed by Hillary2016. But they are so stupid at the Brooklyn headquarters a truck busting through a plate glass window into the middle of a restaurant smashing pots, pans, and dishes, would be missed by them.

On the Republican side the tapestry moved too. But on the Republican side you could hear Moe, Larry, and Curly pummel the tapestry, the cacophony of pots and pans clang, each of the stooges noisily fall over each other, so that if you did not see the wild flapping and shaking of the tapestry you could not miss the clanging cloppery of the clowns.

On the Republican side the tapestry moved with news from the GOP establishment via Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney won’t rule out accepting GOP nomination at contested convention. That’s not so much a tapestry move betraying the treacherous, busy plotting behind it, as it is a bunch of clowns playing at being clever. The corollary to this clown show is the new Draft Ryan, as in Paul Ryan, for President clown show.

So the last guys to lose the presidential election think they can win the nomination by not running but instead staging a coup at the GOP convention. It would work if they were up against a pushover who won’t fight. But they’re up against Donald J. Trump.

On Tuesday, Idaho, Hawaii, Michigan, and Mississippi hold elections. Neither Mitt Romney nor Paul Ryan are on the ballot. Again, as we wrote before the last set of elections, these elections are a prelude to the final battle on March 15. On the Ides of March, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Ohio, vote. Neither Mitt Romney nor Paul Ryan are on the ballot.

In just about every poll of elections on March 8 and March 15, Donald Trump is ahead. That’s as it always has been. Some questions have been raised after SuperTuesday about a weakening Trump lead. But what has happened is not a Trump weakening, but a collapse of Rubio. This past week and weekend we saw Rubio support move to Cruz but Trump’s numbers, as Nate Cohn noted, remained stable.

Still, Trump is taking a beating. In Florida most ads attack Trump. Today the Trump counterattack ad war begins.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrvdyeD7NYs

For the record, we think the Trump ad sucks. It’s a run of the mill political ad. What would we suggest? Tie the Marco Rubio real estate deal to the type of real estate deal Barack Obama did with Antoin “Tony” Rezko. Marco Rubio did exactly what Barack Obama did. The only difference is that Barack Obama was the bigger crook getting bigger money from a bigger crook. How come no one is making the connection?

Rubio’s campaign is in collapse and that almost assures Trump of winning winner take all Florida. Rubio supporters declare his great Puerto Rico victory as a big help in Florida with its one million Puerto Ricans. But how many Puerto Ricans in Florida are Republicans and how many of that sliver will vote for Rubio? That type of wishin’ and hopin’ is all Rubio has left.

But enough Florida, the action now is Michigan and Mississippi and the other March 8 contests. Trump is ahead in Mississippi in the last poll taken there by 24 points. In Michigan, Trump remains on top with Rubio sinking to last. Rubio might not even make the 15% threshold to get any delegates at all.

Tomorrow, this dull election continues. We’ll soon see if Trump wins Michigan and/or Mississippi which will lead to victory in Florida and Ohio. If that victory happens Rubio and Kasich will be out, only hated Cruz will remain. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan better get ready to strap on their burglar tools and steal the nomination.

As Mittens and Ryan go shopping for burglar suits, we suggest everyone go to bed and rest up for Tuesday night. If you have trouble sleeping, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will participate in a Fox News town hall event tonight and that should make you slumber. We will not watch. We didn’t watch the debate on Sunday night either. These “debates” are just too dull.

These dum dem debates are dull because there is no real fight. Bernie Sanders pretends to punch and Hillary pretends to care. It is dull, dull, dull.

If Bernie Sanders ever decides to fight we will wake up. If Hillary decides to stop the pretenses we will watch. But these dum dem debates are dull and a bunch of phony.

The dum dem debates are dull because they are phony. If Hillary attacked Bernie Sanders and his philosophy of socialism and why that is bad on a philosophical and real world impact then we would watch. If Bernie Sanders would stop his little bitchy insinuations and just come out and say what he believes “Hillary Clinton is corrupt because she is a tool of crony capitalists and is a crony capitalist herself who exploits the working class and the middle class to enrich herself and her 1% friends” then we would wake up. That would be a real fight, not the phony pretend slaps we see.

The real fight is between doddering Hillary/Bernie and the ones behind the tapestry. Last week we saw the tapestry move.

We do not believe Hillary Clinton nor Bernie Sanders will be the nominee. We’ve said that for a long while now. We doubt anyone needs much explanation for why we doubt Bernie Sanders will ever get the nomination, so let’s ignore him. But Hillary Clinton? Last week evidence began to pour in. The first bit of evidence got attention:

(CNN)The Department of Justice has granted “immunity” to a former State Department employee who worked on Hillary Clinton’s private email server. Bryan Pagliano initially invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and would not testify. Of course, the Department of Justice, known to defense attorneys simply as the “government,” has many ways of getting people to talk.

The big question is whether there is a grand jury convened. The smart bet is yes. After all, the fact that there are immunity agreements logically means there’s a grand jury investigation in some district. The grand jury is typically the genesis of the government’s subpoena power. The next, bigger question, is whether anyone will be indicted.

The mere fact that the DOJ wants to talk to Pagliano does not mean anyone will be indicted. But if the DOJ is investigating criminal activity, they tend to find criminal activity.

In general, when the government wants to talk to someone, the person falls into one of three categories: target, subject, or witness. [snip]

Indeed, the government frequently knows more than the person they actually want to talk to. They are good at what they do; it’s no accident that the federal conviction rate is well above 90%. [snip]

While Pagliano is surely in an unenviable, nail-biting position, we can draw some inferences from recent events. Whether he had zero potential liability, or some liability, he’s probably not a “target.” Why? Because if he were, his attorney would probably not let him talk to the government, and the government would probably not give him immunity. Remember, the government is parsimonious with immunity deals. Another, less reliable inference may be drawn not about Pagliano, but others who are not Pagliano.

The person who often has to worry the most during this process is the person who hasn’t been approached at all by the government. That’s a chilling indicator that you may be the target.

This immunity deal was not decided by a minor government functionary. This decision went to the top. The decision was made behind a tapestry in our modern day Borgia Italy.

The immunity deal was not the big news slipped out in a news leak from underneath the tapestry. There was big news last week few noticed and fewer understood:

Obama says he’s not leaving D.C. next year

President Barack Obama and his family will continue calling Washington home after he departs the White House next year — at least for a little while. [snip]

“We’re going to have to stay a couple of years in D.C. probably so Sasha can finish,” he said. “Transferring someone in the middle of high school? Tough.”

If you believe that Barack and Michelle Obama are staying in Washington, D.C. because of school you need to go back to the first grade and get your I.Q. tested.

This year, brokered, counter-revolutionary, conventions are in fashion. Romney declares himself the tapestry vox populi and Barack Obama says he won’t go back to the Rezko house because of his great concern for his daughters which he did not have when he moved them to Washington. As if.

The tapestry moves. The plotters are busy. Corruption is everywhere.
