Foolish, idiotic, dangerous, delusions continue to permeate the thinking of some President Donald J. Trump supporters (hello Conservative Treehouse). At the White House, other than from President Trump himself, paralysis and leaks are in vogue. Today, we expose the dangerous delusions and issue a call for corrective action from the White House.
As we recall how two years ago today, this website watched in awe, as the next President announced his run for president we remain in awe of the strength exhibited by the President every day. Today the same toughness that amazed us on June 16, 2015, is once again on display. Today President Donald J. Trump continues to dismantle the Obama legacy sh*thouse by sh*thouse. Also today, our analysis (see, Hiroshima/Nagasaki and More Special Prosecutors please), has been proven prescient and correct. Today, we have to take allies to the woodshed, give advice to one and all, and of course, gloat.
The danger. Because of the shooting of House GOP Whip Steve Scalise some Trump supporters delude themselves that maybe the leftist thugs will soften their “resistance” and stop their assassination dreams against President Trump. This belief that the left will relent is as we have stated before, a very dangerous delusion.
Before we critique the dangerously deluded, let’s fully explain what the left sees in the wake of the shooting of Steve Scalise. The left sees success. The left sees “Hope and change”. The left sees their anime dreams of assassination, political or somatic, about to be realized.
The only aspect of the Steve Scalise shooting the left regrets is that the leftist thug assassin did not accomplish his mission. To all those foolish, idiotic, dangerous dwellers in delusion, who have Pollyanna mindsets, get this through your thick heads: The left believes the shooting of Steve Scalise shows the way back to power and that the only problem with the plan was that only Steve Scalise was effectively neutralized, not the two dozen that would put Obama Dimocrats in charge.
After the attack, the office of Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) received an email reading “One down, 216 to go”. Congressman Tom Garrett (R-Va.) needed security after receiving threats reading, “This is how we’re going to kill your wife”. Other threats described graphic atrocities against his daughters and even his dog.
Recall, at the end of Trump week 2, February 3 of this year, many asked when the attacks against President Trump would end. Some foolishly thought the attacks would soon cease and resistance to reality overcome. We replied in Hiroshima And Nagasaki: The Moment #Resistance Dims Will Light Up And Bow To @RealDonaldTrump that the attacks against the duly elected great President Trump would only get worse:
For the present everyone on the left, right, and center, should understand that the leftist Obama Dimocrat insanity will continue unabated. Indeed, our diagnosis indicates that the fever swamps will only continue to grow, the madness will be ever more stark, and that we have not yet witnessed the Obama Dimocrat peak crazy. [snip]
Some on the right foolishly and mistakenly believe the madness will break during the Supreme Court confirmation fight for soon-to-be Justice Gorsuch. Some on the right, not understanding Obama Dimocrats, foolishly don’t understand the political battle as they concoct wild theories about why the filibuster won’t be deployed against soon-to-be Justice Gorsuch. These are dangerous delusions. The left is not even near full madness.
Roger Kimball at PJMedia was one who foolishly thought the kook hate fest against President Trump would end soon. Now, wisely, Roger Kimball recognizes he was entirely wrong and Kimball has the decency and guts to declare he was wrong:
The hysteria, I admit, has gone on far longer, and has been far more virulent, than I anticipated. I thought the insanity would dissipate quickly after January 20, when Donald Trump was inaugurated. Instead, it has accelerated, abetted by a scurrilous and irresponsible media and grandstanding Democratic politicians encouraged by their deep-state enablers. [snip]
I fully expect there will be additional arctic blasts from the media-engineered campaign against Trump. Doubtless many of the blasts will come from James Comey’s very good personal friend (“brothers in arms”) Robert Mueller, recently appointed special counsel to investigate allegations of Russian involvement in the 2016 election. It’s conceivable that Mueller will be forced to recuse himself, but in the meantime, he is busy packing his investigative staff with Obama and Clinton loyalists. [snip]
Moreover, as Conrad Black argues in The National Interest, Trump is actually winning the war on Washington. His greatest problem, Black points out, is not “spurious charges or media hostility . . . but the cowardice of congressional Republicans.”
We don’t think it is “cowardice” on the part of Republicans. It is treachery. The treachery of the swamp.
Kimball has other smart observations that make up for his initial error in thinking the kooks of the left would take their Thorazine and chill out. Kimball is correct that President Trump wins by getting things done:
Success has a way of blotting out or at least marginalizing criticism. As Trump forges ahead, quietly racking up victory after victory, the yapping chihuahuas are going to appear more and more absurd to the public. Those pups are yapping, but as the old Arab mot puts it, the caravan is nevertheless traveling on. Forecast: 10% chance of crisis, 90% chance of sun.
That is exactly what President Trump is doing and the examples from today are many. Obama’s Cuba legacy is removed. Obama’s DAPA legacy is destroyed. ObamaCare is about to be destroyed. Obama’s lead from his behind policies which hurt America are likewise being destroyed.
Sadly, at the Conservative Treehouse, instead of intelligent analysis, we see dangerous delusions take hold.
We have taken the Conservative Treehouse to the woodshed before. For instance, before Justice Gorsuch was confirmed, the Conservative Treehouse made some foolish and dangerous predictions which we debunked:
The left is disgusting, but the right ain’t too bright. On March 2, we wrote Conservative Treehouse doesn’t make sense: [snip]
Conservative Treehouse dreamed up some silly scenario, so bizarre that you can read and reread it and it still can’t be understood, not even by the initial commentors, about why Neil Gorsuch was a shoe-in and no filibuster would be deployed by Chuck Schumer. The “rationale” for such a bizarre conclusion was too silly to even explain in any reality-based way. The Conservative Treehouse “analysis”: “Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will not filibuster the nomination. Relax, it’s 100%. 100%. Done.”
That Treehouse analysis is nutty as a squirrel’s sac. It did not get any better after Chuck Schumer confirmed that indeed, as we predicted, there will be a filibuster. After delusional theory #1 exploded, the Treehouse churned up some more nutty butter to spread which made as little sense as their first flub. It was something about Russians and… well… this latest theory was again too silly to give serious consideration to.
We explained back then to the Treehouse that for the leftist kooks stopping Gorsuch was THE fight. It wasn’t the next fight. The left understood that once Gorsuch was on the court the power to intimidate or collude with certain Republicans (hello McCain, Collins, Graham, Murkowski, Flake, Sasse, etc.) would be gone. For the left the analysis was that Gorsuch had to be stopped at all costs and that defeat of Trump on the Gorsuch nomination (to neatly supplement the House failure on ObamaCare) meant the left was in control, not the electorate or Trump. A defeat on Gorsuch would have meant that President Trump would have to get permission from the Obama Dimocrats for every Supreme Court nomination and indeed every nomination. For the Treehouse, the next fight was the big one. We pointed out the errors of that foolishness. In this case the leftist kooks, who constantly require judicial overreach to rule, had the correct analysis/strategy/tactics and the Treehouse was chock full o’ nuts.
Now the Conservative Treehouse is at it again. This time the delusions are more dangerous. This time the delusion is that Special Counsel Mueller and his Obama Dimocrat prosecutors are working alongside Deputy AG Rosenstein to clear President Trump of all charges!!! This is delusion! This is madness! This is all out nuts and dangerous to President Trump.
In a series of articles Conservative Treehouse insists, persists, and resists the notion that Special Counsel Mueller is a threat to President Trump. The articles are so loony tunes that they are hard to follow. But the gist of the “analysis” is that James Comey is the Devil that plots everything out and that Mueller is a threat to Comey because Mueller is working alongside Deputy AG Rosenstein to help President Trump.
The latest loony tune article is the one about Deputy AG Rosenstein’s warning about not trusting the latest Big Media reports. Somehow, this Rosenstein Tweet is supposed to justify the crackpot theories falling from the Treehouse. In comments to the article, the author makes even more absurd additions to the crackpot theories:
Many people are operating on emotion and absorbing “clickbait” article angst.
Mueller couldn’t hire a team of rabidly political republican type investigators. What would that do to the effectiveness of the outcome? Think about it.
Mueller couldn’t NOT look at obstruction. Think about it.
President Trump and the circle of advisers, including AG Sessions, did nothing wrong in this entire ‘muh Russia’ nonsense exercise. Stay calm and carry on – MAGA.
‘Stay calm and carry on as if Special Counsel Mueller is not a mortal threat or a dangerous distraction’ says the Treehouse. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is dangerous analysis akin to the crackpottery about Neil Gorsuch (not to mention the Treehouse hostility to the Citizens United Supreme Court decision) via the Treehouse.
The Conservative Treehouse theories are wacky and dangerous. If President Trump listened to that type of advice he would be out on the street selling apples and clinking a tin cup. Somehow, the Conservative Treehouse believes that: James Comey is all evil and a mastermind who is terrified of Special Counsel Mueller because Mueller will expose Comey; Mueller is some sort of hero out to trap his long time friend Comey (the guy Mueller worked with on the Ashcroft mugging) in order to help President Trump and that indeed all those Obama Dimocrats Mueller has hired are hired to gull Comey and the Obama Dimocrats because hey, won’t those Obama Dimocrats be surprised when Obama Dimocrat prosecutors who worked for the Clinton Foundation and donated money to Hillary Clinton’s campaigns and other Obama Dimocrat campaigns exonerate President Trump; and yeah, President Trump is playing games and pretending to be upset with the Special Counsel because he somehow is in on a plot of collusion with Special Prosecutor Mueller and President Trump knows that Mueller will exonerate him but President Trump has to pretend to be upset so that his exoneration announcement by Mueller will be even more glorious when it comes on that glorious day; Vice President Pence hiring private lawyers to defend himself against the Special Counsel is somehow part of the plot to defeat Obama Dimocrats by hiring Obama Dimocrats; likewise hiring Jay Sekulow to waste his valuable time he could be spending on other issues is part of the collusion plot by Trump/Mueller; oh, and, um, believe it or not Mueller is not really investigating President Trump because Mueller’s real target is his long time friend and collaborator James Comey; all these collusions and camouflage ruses have entirely fooled and sent down the wrong path not only this website but Newt Gingrich, Sean Hannity, and Lou Dobbs.
If Conservative Treehouse is to be believed than President Donald J. Trump is a dunce for writing this today:
I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director! Witch Hunt
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 16, 2017
The man that wrote the memo to President Trump which provided the many reasons to fire the FBI Director James Comey, is none other than Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. And guess what Ladies and Gentlemen, Rosenstein might be recusing himself:
The senior Justice Department official with ultimate authority over the special counsel’s probe of Russia’s alleged meddling in the 2016 election has privately acknowledged to colleagues that he may have to recuse himself from the matter, which he took charge of only after Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ own recusal, sources tell ABC News. [snip]
Rosenstein, who authored an extensive and publicly-released memorandum recommending Comey’s firing, raised the possibility of his recusal during a recent meeting with Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand, the Justice Department’s new third-in-command, according to sources. [snip]
In the recent meeting with Brand, Rosenstein told her that if he were to recuse himself, she would have to step in and take over those responsibilities. She was sworn-in little more than a month ago. [snip]
Rosenstein is keenly aware that, he could become a potential witness in the investigation. [snip]
Rep. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, asked Rosenstein specifically whether he might have a conflict of interest if he becomes a witness in the investigation.
“I’m not going to answer hypothetical questions,” Rosenstein said. “[But] I am working with career professionals who know these rules and are responsible for enforcing these rules, and I can assure you that we’re going to do the right thing, and we’re going to defend the integrity of that investigation.” [snip]
But inside his office in recent days, the deputy attorney general has been grappling with what to do about the expanding probe, and seething over news accounts laying out some of its details, according to one source.
Late last night, he issued what many online are calling a “bizarre” statement, condemning recent reports.
“Americans should exercise caution before accepting as true and stories attributed to anonymous ‘officials,'” Rosenstein said. “Americans should be skeptical about anonymous allegations. The Department of Justice has a long-established policy to neither confirm nor deny such allegations.”
We explained why we cheered the appointment of Mueller when it was announced (because the enemy was now exposed in the open not hiding behind in the shadows where they are difficult to find and remove). We also explained why we think it is time to take down Mueller because he is a conflicted by his relationship with James Comey, at the very least.
Our assignment to the writers and readers of the Conservative Treehouse is to watch a certain movie. We understand we might be wrong or right and as unlikely and contrary to reality as it is there is a one in a trillion chance that Conservative Treehouse is correct. But we strongly believe that the Conservative Treehouse must be made to understand that their position on Special Counsel Mueller is both delusional and dangerous. Dangerous because of, as the Kirk Douglas character “Jiggs” states in Seven Days In May, the political thriller about a military takeover of the government, “…possibilities, what we call, uh “capabilities” in military intelligence…”:
President Jordan Lyman: All right, Colonel. Let’s sum it up, shall we? You’re suggesting what?
Colonel Martin “Jiggs” Casey: I’m not sure, Mr. President: just some possibilities, what we call, uh “capabilities” in military intelligence…
President Jordan Lyman: You got something against the English language, Colonel?
Colonel Martin “Jiggs” Casey: No, sir.
President Jordan Lyman: Then speak it plainly, if you will.
Colonel Martin “Jiggs” Casey: I’m suggesting, Mr. President, there’s a military plot to take over the government. This may occur some time this coming Sunday.
The “possibilities” the “capabilities” of Special Counsel Mueller is a danger, but the Conservative Treehouse poses a greater danger with the “close your eyes, nothing to worry about, it’s all in the bag” talk. The Conservative Treehouse, as in the Gorsuch nomination fight, is dangerously, malignantly, willfully, blind to the um, possibilities, the “capabilities” of a hostile Special Counsel Mueller. Wake up Conservative Treehouse and smell the treachery. All hands are required to fight off Mueller.
Senator Raymond Clark: All you’ve got to know is this: right now the government of the United States is sitting on top of the Washington Monument, right on the very point, tilting right and left and ready to fall off and break up on the pavement. There are just a handful of men that can prevent it. And you’re one of them.
It’s not the military, it’s the Deep State stupid.
Please. I keep debunking this Deep State talking point.
Think about your logic. How could Mueller conduct an investigation with partisan republicans as investigators within it? What would be the outcome of any findings against the deep state operatives?
Please think and don’t just regurgitate the “concern” talking points coming from those who would benefit from Mueller’s disappearance. You are being played.
In the “black hats” and “white hats” world of Conservative Treehouse the reality is resisted that there are no white hats or black hats in the swamp – just dirty hats.
Conservative Treehouse is wrong. Sean Hannity is right. The Deep State wants retribution and the vehicle for that retribution is swamp monster Mueller:
The Trump attorneys understand the danger:
Judicial Watch is correct to demand information from the FBI, especially James Comey’s records.
It’s the Deep State stupid!
Lou Dobbs is on the job:
Doug Wead: We have very skilled, talented professionals. They’ve overthrown governments in Vietnam and the Philippines, in Iraq and Iran, in Egypt, in the Ukraine. Duly elected democratic governments. They created what they called “popular uprisings.”
What did we expect? That’s there skill set. These people who work some of them in the State Department, some of them in intelligence, some of them in the media. They’ve worked together to overthrow other governments. So it was inevitable they would use the gun on ourselves. So here they go, let’s see if we can do this in America. It looks Like a coup d’état. I don’t know how else you would explain it.
President Trump knows how to explain it:
You are witnessing the single greatest WITCH HUNT in American political history – led by some very bad and conflicted people! #MAGA
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 15, 2017
Why is that Hillary Clintons family and Dems dealings with Russia are not looked at, but my non-dealings are?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 15, 2017
Crooked H destroyed phones w/ hammer, 'bleached' emails, & had husband meet w/AG days before she was cleared- & they talk about obstruction?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 15, 2017
SO WHAT SHOULD PRESIDENT TRUMP DO???????
We answered that question on March 5 and May 17. The answer is a “truth commission” and lots of special prosecutors. On March 5 we noted that a Truth Commission was needed to uncover the truth about all the crimes and corruption during Barack Obama’s gangster government. We need answers as Americans to Lois Lerner and the IRS corruption as well as Fast and Furious and a whole lotta shaking needs to be going on.
On May 17 we began a list of Special Prosecutors we think should be appointed. We came up with over 20 special prosecutors that need to investigate a whole bunch of things. Things like a special prosecutor to investigate the special prosecutor and how Comey got him appointed, Loretta Lynch, corruption of the FISA courts, the unmasking scandals, more Loretta Lynch prosecutors after Comey said she corrupted the FBI and turned it into a Clinton campaign operation, illegal surveillance of congress and the Supreme Court, lots and lots of things.
It’s good to see Lou Dobbs agrees with us.
President Trump should appoint a special prosecutor to investigate whether or not James Comey told the truth about Loretta Lynch and her turning the FBI into a Clinton campaign operation and also to find out what the meeting with Bill Clinton was all about. That should relieve Mueller of too much work which will take too much time.
President Trump should appoint a special prosecutor to investigate who and why did all that “unmasking” of American citizens caught up in NSA spying.
A special prosectutor to investigate the Comey self-confessed leak as well as the many other leaks he is suspected of perpetrating.
President Trump should appoint a special prosecutor to investigate who/what/when/where/why is doing all the leaking – even from the Mueller office.
We need lots and lots of special prosecutors NOW! The more special prosectutors the better. The more special prosecutors the less time Mueller will have to consume in his investigations – and the sooner Mueller might be in a cell alongside Comey.
