Not Phony Peace – Give War A Chance!

Update:Give fake wars, not real wars, a chance again and again” says the anti-Trump political establishment:

Trump and the Foreign-Policy Establishment

Will he come around and accept the policy of wars without victories? Speaking to a number of governors in February, Donald Trump unburdened himself, “We have to win. We have to start winning wars again. . . . We never win and we don’t fight to win. We’ve either got to win or don’t fight it at all.” [snip]

After World War II and the Korean War, the United States maintained a large presence of troops in Germany and East Asia in order to keep the peace and deter potential enemies. But this is something different. Now we are maintaining troops in order to make sure the enemy is fighting us over there, so that every spring and summer see another round of skirmishes. Afghanistan is now a strange test for the United States: How long can a democratic people support a limited war that everyone acknowledges will not end in victory?

All the Big Media attacks against President Trump from the past 48 hours come from insider leaks. The political establishment intends to bring down President Trump because he is an outsider. Only an outsider wants victory not endless war. The political establishment is in for a fight because President Trump does not surrender.

——————————————————

Real wars, like a good thunderstorm, clear the air. We need a real war. We need several real wars. Let’s go to war.

War, has a publicity problem. Peace, has an excellent tribe of scribes working overtime to hype its value. It’s not just scribes. Musicians too extol “peace” over war. Herewith a few examples of recent musical pro-peace at any costs propaganda:

That’s great music. We love it. The rhythm chants of messianic Lennon “give peace a chance”, the heartbreak pathos of cyclical missing flowers/children/sons/daughters, the bold assertion of the waste and undesirability of war make the spirit soar. But what is war really good for?

Real war, real honest to goodness, destructive, killing, maiming, blast-furnace, horror dogs of war, WAR – is something many of us have never experienced. The composers and performers of the above songs protested the type of “war” most of us understand.

What most of us understand, or assume to be war, is fake. Daniel Greenfield explains the fake wars and why President Trump must wage horrible, ugly, mean, WAR:

How is it possible that we beat Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan in less time than it’s taking us to figure out that we can’t even trust the clods of dirt in Afghanistan? Let alone reach a peace deal with them.

But WW2 was a war. It may have been the last war in which we leveraged all the firepower at our disposal to smash an enemy. We don’t fight wars anymore. Instead we’re the world’s policeman. [snip]

The vocabulary is a dead giveaway. When we call a country a “rogue state” instead of an “enemy”, we’re not saying that it’s a deadly threat to us, but that it’s not behaving the way a member of the global community should. But being a “rogue state” is only a crime to globalists. Our problem isn’t that North Korea is failing to abide by the United Nations Convention on the Treatment of Radishes. It’s the nukes.

To solve a problem, you have to clearly define it because your solution will follow your formulation.

To globalists, the problem is an anti-social withdrawal from the global community. The solution is global “shunning” sanctions followed by a return to the loving arms of the global community.

That’s why the Iran nuke deal disaster happened. The diplomats didn’t care a radioactive fig about Iran’s nukes. They were invested in Iran’s membership in the “international community”. And they got what they wanted. They once got North Korea to sign on the dotted line too. And if you stand downwind of the latest test site with a Geiger counter, you know how that worked out.

If we want to win wars, we should stop being the world’s policeman. And defend ourselves instead.

Multilateral sanctions and multilateral coalitions aren’t our only two options. They’re our only two options if we want to spend our time enforcing the will of an imaginary international community.

The international community is a failed illusion. We’ve sacrificed far too many lives and too much money trying to defend our national interests by the rules of a post-national global order. That tragic mismatch dragged us into a disastrous and horrifying series of stalemates and lost wars. [snip]

If there’s any president who can actually break the cycle and replace policing with war, it’s President Trump. Trump is the first president in a long time to express skepticism about international commitments and the global order. And to propose that we serve our own national interests instead of serving the international community. And that is what needs to happen in North Korea.

For the military-industrial complex President Eisenhower warned America against, the ceaseless non-peace “peace” – the ceaseless non-war “war”, the Orwellian current state of affairs of never-ending war/peace is profitable. What the military-industrial complex and the globalists fear most is a real war with an ending – a real finite war with an end date in the history books. What the military-industrial complex enjoys the most is the nervous societal insecurity of a phony peace threatened by ceaseless phony wars to come.

The American non-war “wars” began in the Korean peninsula. The Korean “War” was called a “police action” authorized by the United Nations. Americans lost flowers/sons/daughters/ in the police action authorized by the United Nations.

Vietnam? Never a declared war there either. The many wars in the middle east likewise remained undeclared and “limited”. The only thing not limited in any of these “wars” is the full measure of devotion the fallen soldiers and their families suffered.

We should not be singing “where have all the flowers gone?” We should be singing “where have all the real wars gone?”

The non-war “wars” for America began with the Korean “War”. In Korea is where the non-war “wars” might finally end.

After the terrorist attacks against America in 2001 who was punished greatly that did not deserve the punishment? Americans. Americans suffered after the World Trade Center attacks. Americans endured and continue to endure demeaning security searches throughout the society. Americans now take off their shoes to board planes. Americans pay huge bills for phony “security” that does not secure anything but jobs for bureaucrats. The terrorists did not even lose their “haven” in Afghanistan.

The non-peace non-war insecurity state is where we all live now and endure what should be unendurable for a free peoples. North Korea might change all that. Perhaps the undiluted menace of North Korea is the brick wall of reality we are all about to hit. North Korea is a menace:

North Korea began a biological weapons program in the 1960s and is believed to be able to produce smallpox, anthrax, tularemia, and a number of other pathogens suitable for bioweapons. These may already be on missiles aimed at South Korea and Japan.

Worse, North Korean intelligence agents may have them, ready to strike in the U.S.

It’s not just biological weapons:

North Korea’s launch on Sunday of its most-sophisticated missile yet offered new clues into how serious the country is in its nuclear ambitions.

In the past three years, North Korea has launched more major missiles than in the three previous decades combined.

That acceleration is one of the most dramatic signs of leader Kim Jong Un’s push to overhaul the country’s weapons program since he took power in late 2011. He has modernized production of nuclear and missile parts, upgraded the program within the military hierarchy and overtly pampered engineers, forcing Western leaders to worry more about Pyongyang’s intentions than ever before.

On Sunday, North Korea launched a newly developed intermediate-range missile, its 10th missile firing this year. Mr. Kim attended the test of the nuclear-capable missile and described it as a “perfect weapon system,” according to a state media report. Initial projections from several experts suggested it would be able to reach U.S. military forces in Guam.

Even apparent failed missile launches, like one that blew up within minutes on April 28, are now seen by independent experts as signs of North Korea’s progress. Learning from those failures would move the regime closer to its ultimate goal of mastering a long-range missile that could threaten the U.S. with nuclear attack.

North Korea can now hit large parts of the 9th Circuit:

North Korea said it fired the missile at a high angle to avoid neighboring countries.

If it had been fired at a normal angle, analysts say, it could have flown much farther — estimates vary between 4,000 and 7,000 kilometers (2,500 and 4,350 miles), the upper number putting Alaska and possibly Hawaii within striking distance.

This is a very uncomfortable development for the United States,” said Lee Illwoo, a Seoul-based commentator on military issues.

Delivery of nuclear bombs might now be possible:

North Korea on Monday boasted of a successful weekend launch of a new type of “medium long-range” ballistic rocket that can carry a heavy nuclear warhead. Outsiders also saw a significant technological jump, with the test-fire apparently flying higher and for a longer time period than any other such previous missile.

Real war, brutal and destructive, is always avoided by the Hopium crowd until it arrives with a bang of reality. We are grateful that in the coming battle for the West and the future, President Donald J. Trump is sober and unafraid.

Daniel Pipes, in a discussion about Israel, provides a realistic view of war and peace:

My argument: Nearly thirty years of “peace process” has left Palestinian-Israeli relations worse than when they started; therefore, further attempts (such as those Donald Trump is now initiating) are a fool’s errand. Compromise and “painful concessions” do not end conflicts; rather, history shows, one side giving up does so.

Breaking the Palestinian will to fight will be neither easy nor pleasant; but the only alternative is Israel’s disappearance. Palestinian acceptance of Israel hollows out anti-Zionism and will eventually prompt other Arabs and Muslims also to move on. Defeat will hugely benefit the Palestinians, who can finally end their destructive focus on the Jewish state and instead begin to build their own polity, economy, society, and culture.

My goal is to convince Washington to let Israel win; once this is achieved, Israelis can work out in detail how to attain this goal.

Not more counterproductive negotiations but a return to the classic scenario of defeat and victory.

World War I ended in an armistice. World War I never really ended because there was no resolution of the conflict. The conflict erupted again and was finally settled with finality and total conclusion by World War II and the first nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

A real war ends a conflict. A phony war or a phony peace leads to more devastating conflict. Few know this better than those called to fight war.

Some will denounce the very idea of war. The denunciations will not come from those once imprisoned in death camps, the frozen of Valley Forge, nor the bloodied at Pearl Harbor.

As we approach Memorial Day 2017 and the first trans Atlantic trip by President Trump, it is well to remember that the “greatest generation” is so not because they wanted war in all its horrors, but because when it came time to choose our fate, they chose to fight, not cower behind delusions. It was their finest hour.

  1. Admin: your title put me in mind of Justice Holmes’s words as a Captain in the Massachusetts Volunteers, thirty years after he was left for dead on a defeated battlefield in the American Civil War:

“Behind every scheme to make the world over, lies the question, What kind of world do you want? The ideals of the past for men have been drawn from war, as those for women have been drawn from motherhood. For all our prophecies, I doubt if we are ready to give up our inheritance. Who is there who would not like to be thought a gentleman? Yet what has that name been built on but the soldier’s choice of honor rather than life? To be a soldier or descended from soldiers, in time of peace to be ready to give one’s life rather than suffer disgrace, that is what the word has meant; and if we try to claim it at less cost than a splendid carelessness for life, we are trying to steal the good will without the responsibilities of the place. We will not dispute about tastes. The man of the future may want something different. But who of us could endure a world, although cut up into five-acre lots, and having no man upon it who was not well fed and well housed, without the divine folly of honor, without the senseless passion for knowledge outreaching the flaming bounds of the possible, without ideals the essence of which is that they can never be achieved? I do not know what is true. I do not know the meaning of the universe. But in the midst of doubt, in the collapse of creeds, there is one thing I do not doubt, that no man who lives in the same world with most of us can doubt, and that is that the faith is true and adorable which leads a soldier to throw away his life in obedience to a blindly accepted duty, in a cause which he little understands, in a plan of campaign of which he has little notion, under tactics of which he does not see the use.

Most men who know battle know the cynic force with which the thoughts of common sense will assail them in times of stress; but they know that in their greatest moments faith has trampled those thoughts under foot. If you wait in line, suppose on Tremont Street Mall, ordered simply to wait and do nothing, and have watched the enemy bring their guns to bear upon you down a gentle slope like that of Beacon Street, have seen the puff of the firing, have felt the burst of the spherical case-shot as it came toward you, have heard and seen the shrieking fragments go tearing through your company, and have known that the next or the next shot carries your fate; if you have advanced in line and have seen ahead of you the spot you must pass where the rifle bullets are striking; if you have ridden at night at a walk toward the blue line of fire at the dead angle of Spottsylvania, where for twenty-four hours the soldiers were fighting on the two sides of an earthwork, and in the morning the dead and dying lay piled in a row six deep, and as you rode you heard the bullets splashing in the mud and earth about you; if you have been in the picket-line at night in a black and unknown wood, have heard the splat of the bullets upon the trees, and as you moved have felt your foot slip upon a dead man’s body; if you have had a blind fierce gallop against the enemy, with your blood up and a pace that left no time for fear –if, in short, as some, I hope many, who hear me, have known, you have known the vicissitudes of terror and triumph in war; you know that there is such a thing as the faith I spoke of. You know your own weakness and are modest; but you know that man has in him that unspeakable somewhat which makes him capable of miracle, able to lift himself by the might of his own soul, unaided, able to face anniliation for a blind belief.”——-A Soldiers Faith.

  2. Thank you Admin, for a very sobering post, and a very true one.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I hold these truths to be self evident:

    (1) That the Almighty intervened in the affairs of men in 2016 to elevate a brash but results-oriented businessman with no political experience to the highest office in the land; and

    (2) That His reason for doing so was to destroy North Korea and Iran, thereby saving America and the world from nuclear annihilation.

That’s why I don’t give a rat’s ass about Comey, the wall, jobs jobs jobs, et fucking cetera.

Trump’s destiny is to be a great wartime president.

  3. The US has actually been fighting small, undeclared wars long before WWII.

The precursor to the Vietnam War was actually the Philippine War of 1899-1902, but the lessons of that war were forgotten after the two world wars.

  4. Seriously, Matthew77, you have a Almighty who sent Donald Trump to destroy Korea and Iran? Is that kind of like that religion whose prophet was a warlord?

First of all, Trump is a builder, who wants to build a wall and a country back great again. He would consider himself a failure if he ended up a war POTUS. It is not his thing. Now, if Korea and Iran got in the way of him doing that, they certainly will get schlonged. But that is just so he can get back to business.

  5. War

Two of the world’s largest anti-virus companies said they are “looking into clues” that suggest a North Korea-linked group may be behind last week’s cyberattack. According to Reuters, Symantec and Kaspersky are investigating whether hackers from the Lazarus Group were responsible for infecting an estimated 300,000 machines in 150 countries. The two companies have said that “some code in an earlier version of the WannaCry ransomware had also appeared in programs used by the Lazarus Group, which researchers from many companies said is run by North Korea.”

  6. > Seriously, Matthew77, you have a Almighty who sent Donald Trump to destroy Korea and Iran?
    >
Yes. The same Almighty that sent Churchill and FDR to destroy Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and Imperial Japan.

    > Is that kind of like that religion whose prophet was a warlord?
    >
I don’t know that much about Islam. I’ve read some accounts of Mohammed’s military career that suggest he killed only about 1,000 people. King David of the Old Testament killed far more than that.

    > Now, if Korea and Iran got in the way of him doing that, they certainly will get schlonged.
    >
That’s exactly what I think will happen. North Korea is already in the way. They are rushing to develop an ICBM that can reach America. Sanctions have had no effect. China’s warnings have been ignored. North Korea shows not the slightest interest in talking to the West. Trump has no choice. Iran is a similar story, but it hasn’t yet reached the same level of crisis as North Korea.

  7. This essay is one of your best admin.

Listen, since the beatings haven’t worked, maybe you could talk sweetly to the squirrels (maybe they’re actually chipmunks and are insulted…?) and promise them some peanuts in the shell….

  8. a different kind of war…

Family’s private investigator: There is evidence Seth Rich had contact with WikiLeaks prior to death

WASHINGTON – It has been almost a year since Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was murdered in the nation’s capital. There have been no solid answers about why he was killed until now.

Rich was shot and killed last July in Northwest D.C and police have suggested the killing in the District’s Bloomingdale neighborhood was a botched robbery. However, online conspiracy theories have tied the murder to Rich’s work at the DNC.

Just two months shy of the one-year anniversary of Rich’s death, FOX 5 has learned there is new information that could prove these theorists right

Rod Wheeler, a private investigator hired by the Rich family, suggests there is tangible evidence on Rich’s laptop that confirms he was communicating with WikiLeaks prior to his death.

Now, questions have been raised on why D.C. police, the lead agency on this murder investigation for the past ten months, have insisted this was a robbery gone bad when there appears to be no evidence to suggest that.

Wheeler, a former D.C. police homicide detective, is running a parallel investigation into Rich’s murder. Wheeler said he believes there is a cover-up and the police department has been told to back down from the investigation.

“The police department nor the FBI have been forthcoming,” said Wheeler. “They haven’t been cooperating at all. I believe that the answer to solving his death lies on that computer, which I believe is either at the police department or either at the FBI. I have been told both.”

When we asked Wheeler if his sources have told him there is information that links Rich to Wikileaks, he said, “Absolutely. Yeah. That’s confirmed.”

Wheeler also told us, “I have a source inside the police department that has looked at me straight in the eye and said, ‘Rod, we were told to stand down on this case and I can’t share any information with you.’ Now, that is highly unusual for a murder investigation, especially from a police department. Again, I don’t think it comes from the chief’s office, but I do believe there is a correlation between the mayor’s office and the DNC and that is the information that will come out [Tuesday].

  9. I heard that now they’re saying that Trump gave secrets to the Russians? I haven’t been able to find it online yet. Trump cleaning out the swamp is really, really a threat to the politicians and their minions. I don’t have any “excuse” for how crazy the “regular” people on the left have become.

I saw a funny picture the other day – the top box has a person’s hand reaching for a door knob, and it says “just checking to see if the dems have recovered”.

The bottom picture has a picture of Linda Blair in The Exorcist, in bed, after her head has been spinning around and her hair is all messy and there is sputum all over and she has a crazy smile on her face. The text says, “I guess not yet”. LOL It seems like an appropriate photo to capture the left right now.

  10. S – I’ll read the article you linked, because I’m wondering why the guy is saying something will be released Thursday.

The Rich angle is interesting. All along, wikilinks has said that all that info they released was not hacked data given to them, it was leaked data given to them by someone who had the right to view that information.

I always believed Assange over the people saying Russia hacked it and gave it to him – simply for the fact that I think if it were hacked he would say so – they always double check what they get to make sure it’s genuine, hacked or leaked. So there’s no reason to not admit hacking if that’s what happened.

Oh, and MO is now saying that the only reason that Trump ditched her school lunch program (obesity not down, 56% more food being thrown out, and National Nutrition Council publicly thanked Trump for dumping it) was because he hate kids.

My first thought was, how does she think she can get away with that kind of “logic”? Then I immediately realized, of COURSE she’ll get away with it, it won’t be challenged.

The further they get in the rear view mirror, the better!

  11. IE is not responsive for me today at ALL! Grrr!! Everything takes so long, even trying to scroll.

Anyway, S, I read that article. I think I misspoke above and said Thursday, but it’s Tuesday, tomorrow. It was only in the video (IE finally showed it, with the words not matching the actions lol), at the very end, that they said what is going to happen. The reporter said that the private detective said that tomorrow morning they are going to present evidence of how many times and exactly when that Seth Rich contacted WikiLeaks.

The detective talks about evidence being on Seth Rich’s computer. I’m guessing if he ever gets his hands on it, anything relevant will be deleted…

  12. Lorac

it just makes you wonder about how much was, and is being covered up and silenced by all authority…inc the FBI…

BM wants to create this big cover up by DT, what a joke…when they all ignore the obvious and refuse to even mention all the corruption in the Dim party…and so sadly with the Clintons…

they just continue to make up and repeat lies about DT over and over again hoping it will sink into the collective consciousness as the truth…

boy, the more we hear, the worse the FBI sounds

btw…saw a few seconds of Pelosi on CNN…that woman is out of it…I could only literally stand a few seconds of her not making any sense…she sounds like a nutcase and her mannerisms are so strange…

  13. The NeverTrumper and Resistance imbeciles are just going to claim that McMaster is lying. It’s like trying to convince doomsday cult members that the world is not coming to an end on a certain date.

  14. @Tony Stark
I don’t know that I have ever witnessed so much chicken little the sky is falling garbage from the left before. They will say anything and turn any wording into a web of falsehoods. They cannot have complete sentences uttered as every answer must become yes or no otherwise they discombobulate the answer and alter the meaning to suit their psyche.

  15. This joker reported the contents of the meeting to the NSA and other agencies. He had no right to do this without permission from the president. It stands to reason that he is the leaker or one of them. The motive? He is a Bushie.
    ——
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — President-elect Donald J. Trump has named Thomas P. Bossert, a top national security aide under President George W. Bush, to be his homeland security adviser, the Trump transition team announced Tuesday morning.

Mr. Bossert will become assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, a position the transition team said would be equal in status to that of Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, whom Mr. Trump has chosen to be his national security adviser. The same position under President Obama has been a deputy national security adviser.

The change in rank “reflects the unwavering commitment President-elect Trump has to the safety and security of the nation, its people and territory,” the transition team said in a statement.

“Mr. Bossert will focus on domestic and transnational security priorities as General Michael Flynn remains steadfastly focused on international security challenges,” it said.

Officials on Mr. Obama’s national security team challenged the assertion that Mr. Bossert had been elevated to a higher position than his counterpart in the current administration, Lisa Monaco, who also has the title assistant to the president.

Agreed. But how does Trump fight back?

I agree with Gingrich that Trump should close down the White House press room. But that will not prevent Big Media from publishing fake news every hour, on the hour.

So how do we fight back?

Trump has gotta solve this problem, or I fear his presidency is OVER.

  19. Now even Fox News is talking about how it makes sense to make Merrick Garland the new FBI Director. Merrick Garland!

    Screw that.

    It’s gotta be Trey Gowdy.

And on his first day as the new director, he’s gotta make the following speech to the troops: “If you are caught leaking — even ONCE — you are GONE. Even if the leaked info turns out to be true.”

And then FOLLOW THROUGH on that threat. Even if it means firing every fucking agent and starting all over from scratch.

  20. this is the kind of thing that frustrates me about PDT administration…leaks have been occurring since day one…why hasn’t DT & his admin cleaned house by now in all the important departments…this is ridiculous…does he not have the ability via his cabinet to first identify and then get rid of the leakers…

I just do not understand why there isn’t someone(s) designated in the WH to help DT fire these O and Clinton holdovers and put in people loyal to DT….How much longer is this admin going to wait…can they not see the damage and distractions that are being created by these people…
I mean at the very least, why hasn’t the Koskinen at the IRS been fired? that one seems like an no brainer…

Why hasn’t DT and his people cleaned out the obvious place and people in national security, etc where the snakes are that are plotting to sabatoge on a daily basis…

this is bordering on negligence…I don’t get it…maybe he does need some people like Newt or others that have been around the block helping him to get rid of the traitors…

    get on with it…please…NOW…
why is dina powell, U.S. Deputy National Security Advisor, Dina Powell, friend of Huma, the Clintons and Jarrett, still there

    Why?? Why?

  21. Lorac…they are probably scared…i mean, their son was murdered…who knows what is happening…

and who are they going to go to…the FBI?…really…

this is like a bad movie where the people you would think are the good guys are not…so then what do you do

  22. From the Seth Rich link I posted above – oy!

However GOP lobbyist and DC lawyer Jack Burkman formally appealed to Congress to investigate the death after claiming he had evidence that Russia may be behind Rich’s murder.

  23. What’s the deal with McMaster? Sounded as bad as any Obama spokes person on Israel.

  24. S, yes, perhaps you’re right… plus they said he wasn’t supposed to talk without their permission. Maybe they were expecting it not to go public until there is actual evidence…

  25. Where the freak is Mike Dubke? the so called WH Director of Communications…Does he exist? is he a ghost?

He should immediately be fired…or he is a plant too!

Is there any organization or plan directed at damage control and opposition messaging…forget that…there is no coherent message coming out to counter the 24/7 nonstop barrage of attack they are under…
and frankly i don’t want to even hear any rationalization that all is well…this isn’t even amateur hour…it is nothing…

I have never seen such a strong dominant personality like DT with the likes of a nonexistent Communications Dept…in the damn WH no less…

Where are they and what are they doing?

They certainly are not fighting back…they are not prepared…they have no war room…for all the talk of Steve Bannon, the big people’s warrior…where the freak is he…

all of them are leaving DT wide open…there is no fight at all…no strong people out there speaking and pushing back hard in defense of DT

Donald might be wise to shore up some of the few people that are on TV making a strong case for him and get them in there to organize his weak…very weak…communications team … they have devolved into a SNL joke…I feel sorry for Spicer and Huck’s daughter…but they are not cutting in the current atmosphere…they need a hardnose fighter…

not to repeat myself but I am shocked that Donald does not have a strong…STRONG…communications team out there
because the one he has is invisible, silent and useless
…for a man that fought in the trenches of NY real estate…he is in the WH with virtually no Communications team, no war room and no Public Relations team to freaking fight back

maybe Kimberly G is on her way in and that would be a good addition…but they are going to need a lot more than her…it is time for DT to get some hardcore, politically experienced SOB’s in the WH to start kicking some ass…because they are not winning this narrative…

  26. So if Flynn was cleared by the FBI on January 24th, why in the hell would Donald Trump ask Comey to clear Flynn in February? Flynn is still understand investigation by the various Congressional committees, but not the FBI. There would have been nothing for Trump to ask Comey to clear. Comey had no control over the Senate or House committess investigating Flynn and the so called “Russia Collusion.” Why is the media not reporting on this?

So what do we believe? That story from January 24th claiming Comey cleared Flynn in the Russia collusion case? Or that Comey kept some memo of Trump asking him to give Flynn a break at a dinner date sometime in February? As of now anyway, no one aside from Comey and his “friend” have possesion of this memo. Even the New York Times doesn’t have a copy. They were just dictated to by Comey’s “Friend.”

  27. S: big media has convinced themselves that this is Watergate II—a comparison refuted by those who were there, have proceeded on the basis of fictions fed to them by the deep state, and have nothing concrete to go on, merely rankest hearsay, tainted testimony by a discredited former director of the FBI, and sheer speculation, perhaps the best thing to do is to use judo, and lure them into a Geraldo, its in the vault Rivera, moment, which destroys their credibility once and for all, and makes of them laughing stocks.

So far as Comey is concerned, either he has the memo or he does not. Thus the demand that he release it is proper. If Comey cleared Flynn before the memo was written, then there would be no reason for Trump to ask Comey to go easy on Flynn. If there was such a request, then Comey is guilty of a federal crime for not reporting it. And if the reason he did not report it was to black mail the president, then he is guilty of treason.

  28. How strange, I finally was able to login on an old version of IE, but I can’t login from my home on what MS refers to as “Edge”.

  29. Admin,
Do you think this is a soft coup? Or is that too dramatic? I don’t necessarily need to borrow your fainting couch, but this is off the rails over an unseen memo. The 1st President I really remember was Reagan. I can’t remember anything like this, ever. I keep thinking of how scared Loretta Lynch looked in the hallway when she gave her “resist” plea a few months ago. I am thinking this is the general feeling for the current Swampers that are in DC. Lets hope his trip gives him room to breathe and refocus his communications.

  30. Y’all easily might know this already.
    There is an official site
    http://www.whitehouse.gov/1600daily

that you can go to [I think], or request emails from, which provides quite substantial, high class info daily. Today’s begins with details of POTUS’s upcoming trip.
“On Friday, President Donald J. Trump will be traveling abroad for his first foreign visit. He will be making stops in Saudi Arabia, Israel, Italy, and Belgium, and will be attending both the NATO and G7 summits. The President will be meeting with foreign leaders to strengthen our partnerships and work together to address the many challenges facing our world globally. First Lady Melania Trump will join the President for the 8 day trip overseas.”

Agree completely. Trump is losing. And I’m sick and tired of it.

If he thought that leaving the country for a week or two would change the channel, he was wrong.

It’s ok to be wrong. NOW FIX IT. The Mideast tour can wait.

Naming a new FBI Director is Job #1 right now. I wanted Gowdy but he’s taken himself out. I like Kelly but he’s so damn old.

Also Job #1 is FIGHTING THE BIG MEDIA NARRATIVE. Trump can’t stop them from publishing their lies. But he can FIGHT BACK.

And these worthless, cowardly, treasonous, so-called Republicans in Congress who won’t take Trump’s side? Don’t even get me started on them. Just the thought of them fills me with disgust. They are beneath contempt.

  32. Newt is absolutely correct:

Newt Gingrich tells GOP Congress to fight for Trump, or else Democrats will take power

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, a close ally of President Trump, said it’s time for Republicans in Congress to either “surrender or fight” for the president. But surrender, he said, would bring House Democrats and their leader, Nancy Pelosi, to power.

“Republicans in general — not just Trump — are in a crossroads,” Gingrich said in an interview. “And if they don’t get their act together, Pelosi is going to become speaker and she’s going to impeach Trump. That’s how big the stakes are.”

“You think the hard left would do anything less?” added the man who as Speaker in the 1990s led House Republicans’ impeachment of Bill Clinton.

Gingrich’s rally ’round advice is in stark contrast to that of some on the right who say this is a moment for Republicans to challenge the president, especially after the latest leaks opened Trump to questions of obstruction of justice. Gingrich has been one of Trump’s most stalwart supporters. His wife, Callista, is expected to be nominated as ambassador to the Vatican soon.

Other Republicans have been reticent to speak up in Trump’s defense. But Gingrich was fired up and in a chatty mood, speaking by phone during a layover in Frankfurt after several days of speaking engagements in Kiev. He was infuriated with the media, particularly CNN, which he said is giving the rest of the world the impression that “America is terrifying” right now.

He said questions from his foreign audiences included “How close are we to a dictatorship?”

Gingrich had advice for Trump and his advisors: Get tougher on the media. He said the White House should cancel briefings — an idea Trump himself has floated — and refuse to respond to damaging stories, which he labeled “garbage.”

“The reason they’re having a tough time in the White House is that they keep kidding themselves about the environment they’re working in,” Gingrich said. “If you’re surrounded by lions and hyenas, feeding them just increases their hunger.”

Yet Gingrich worried that his Republican allies in Congress are growing wobbly.

“They’re totally rattled,” he said, citing local town hall meetings disrupted by the “hard left,” other forms of intimidation and even death threats.

“You either decide you’re going to cave and let the left own America,” Gingrich said, “or you’re going to fight.”

I agree, there is no War room and I don’t understand it. He needs Newt running things! He doesn’t have the right people in the right places. What Communications Director?
And he keeps replacing obama people with obama people, whats up with that.
I freaking hate the RINO’s and I do believe under these circumstances it is going to be hard to get anyone to take the FBI job. I wish Giuliani would take it. They can use the nuclear option but you have to deal with the RINO’s, and Jesus, can McCain stop with the youth elixir? When is he going to go away? Lindsey, don’t get me started…

  34. McCain, or Caine for short, as in Caine slew Able, or McCain tries to slay Trump in his latest effort to kick a man while he is down, was reviled by his classmates at Annapolis. Why? Spoiled brat with a sadistic streak who was no Phi Beta Cappa, and was the lowest rated graduate, i.e. anchor man in the class of 1958. As a pilot he crashed five planes through sheer carelessness but was saved by the fact that he was the son of an admiral and the grandson of another, and nepotism is not uncommon in the old navy. Thus, the source of the faux heroism he trades on in his boorish behavior was the time he spent in the Hanoi Hilton, where they broke him. Not everyone is convinced that he is a hero. But like the Jesse Jackson of old, or Norman Orstein, he is the go to guy for the media, since he lost and fell on his saber so gracefully, that big media was spared the ass kicking they deserved for not vetting Obama, and they are grateful to him for that. But not everyone is enthralled as they are with this malignant fossil:

SING a Song of six pence, a pocket full of LIES…… This SOB isn’t of sufficient recognizable value to even be used as a bad example. Hopefully, his casket will be vacuum sealed to prevent ground contamination. His kind of schmitt will kill even the weeds within a 100′ radius.

mccain says it’s unacceptable for Trump to invite the Russian foreign minister into the oval office ? !!! It was okay with mccain when obama said on an open mic how he would have more leeway to deal with Russia after the election ! I wish there were someone in the United States Senate with enough gumption to tell senator mccain to sit down and Shut Up ! Obviously mccain prefers the Asian form of communism…

Why is McCain even in the republican party? It’s obvious he’s not a conservative. McCain is a traitor to the party. He was probably brain washed while in the Hilton and is dancing to whatever the chinese want.
