The Miracle Called President Trump And The Salvation Of Our Republic

Update: Thursday, April 6, 2017 via President Trump can be summarized “during the day he nuked the Senate, at night he bombed Syria“. Yet some dolts don’t see the brilliance and miracle of President Trump.

Let’s quickly answer the question the dolts (Conservative Treehouse as usual does not understand complicated matters and after the Syria attack many commenters began to attack President Trump) don’t get. The dolts stupidly declared “There is ZERO motive for President Bashir Assad to weaponize chemical weapons against his people.” Um, idiots the motive for Assad, and Putin for that matter is the same motive all tin pot dictators always have: They are testing the new American president.

With every new administration come tests from foreign enemies of the United States. Why did Syria’s Assad burn his own people with chemical weapons? Because Assad and the Russians and IRAN wanted to slap President Donald J. Trump in the same way every lowlife in the world enjoyed slapping Barack Obama. Back in April 4, 2009 we wrote about the time Barack Obama was tested by America’s enemies. The dolts at the Treehouse should read our smart analysis to understand how foreign enemies test new presidents and see what smart analysis looks like: World Leaders And North Korea To Barack Obama: “Sucker”. That’s right you dolts, in April 2009 the new Obama administration was tested by North Korea. In April 2017, it is President Donald J. Trump who is tested.

How well did President Trump do on his first major test? It’s a miracle. Check out our comments section to get more details as they come in but first reactions from Big Pink were right on target:

For the record we are not in favor of military involvement in Syria. But this chemical attack was a direct challenge to President Trump to test him and see if he was as weak as Obama.

President Trump has turned lemons into lemonade. President Trump with this attack, which took place during President Xi and Trump at dinner, sends a message to China, North Korea and every adversary:I am not weak Obama. My name is Trump. Donald J. Trump!

Look at what President Trump managed to do with his first international crisis:

(1) He had a peaceful dinner with President Xi of China after he secretly ordered the calibrated attack on Syria. Before President Trump made the public announcement of the attack he politely informed President Xi. The unstated message to President Xi: “I am not Barack Hussein Obama. Tell that to the North Korean freaks you’ve been helping. If you don’t want a massive immigration crisis on your southern border get these North Korean freaks back in the circus and off the streets or I will do the job for you.” China and North Korea get the message and American allies in the region such as Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, respect the new President of the United States.

(2) Russia’s Vladimir Putin just got schlonged by testicular fortitude Trump. There goes the notion that Trump is Putin’s plant. Iran got schlonged too. You’re not dealing with Barack Hussein Obama – You’re dealing with President Donald J. Trump. Freaks. As to American allies like Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the rest, they too have respect for the new President of the United States and know that unlike Barack Hussein Obama, President Donald J. Trump is the one that does the schlonging and the slapping. The Egyptian President and the Jordanian King both of whom visited President Trump this past week must have especially wide smiles – but not as wide as the grin on Prime Minister Netanyahu.

(3) American allies world-wide, in North and South America, in the European Union, in Asia, Great Britain, everywhere know there is an American President in charge once again that they can rely on. America’s enemies world-wide know there is an American President in charge once again that they must fear and negotiate with out of respect.

(4) President Trump dealt with America’s enemies foreign and domestic. Remember, the toilet known as the U.S. Congress goes on vacation, they call it “recess”, on Friday. What will these useless goofballs do? They can no longer claim that Trump is Putin’s plant. Will they stay on the job to deal with the ramifications of President Trump’s attack on Syria? Or will these useless pieces of baggage go home and leave foreign policy to President Trump? Those that want to stay to demand President Trump do their bidding will have to confront those that want to go on vacation.

If the Congress persists and insists on vacation as their priority, President Trump can make recess appointments. If the Congress goes on vacation President Trump will continue to have a free hand on foreign policy. If the Congress decides to shock us all and stay in Washington to work, President Trump can demand they also work on ObamaCare repeal, the budget that is due and the debt ceiling. President Trump wins and wins.

As we enter the season of miracles, more miracles – via the miraculous President Donald J. Trump.

————————————————–

This week the right, left, and center, can see the amazing miracle called President Trump. It’s not just the obvious things like Gorsuch or the Jerusalem shocker. On election night and the day following the election we declared that the immense vastness of the Trump victory was immeasurable. This week we continue to try to measure the immeasurable.

Consider the Susan Rice scandal. Take a step back from the daily/hourly to-and-fro developments in that scandal which is itself but a part of the Russia nonsense from Obama Dimocrats. Can you see how miraculous this Susan Rice scandal makes the Trump election victory? Can you?

Remember all the many indisputable reasons from Big Media and the political establishment as to why Trump could never win? Remember all the many times it was declared by Big Media and the GOP and Dimocrat political establishments, along with all the economic and educational institutions of power that “it’s over for Trump”? Now add to all that what we have learned from the Susan Rice scandal. The Trump election victory becomes even more incredible, yea “miraculous” than any have previously understood.

TabletMag lays it all out. The TabletMag article was summarized in our comments section, but we recommend a full read to understand the gargantuan beast that opposed Donald J. Trump’s election, inauguration, and eventual presidency:

“At some point, the administration weaponized the NSA’s legitimate monitoring of communications of foreign officials to stay one step ahead of domestic political opponents,” says a pro-Israel political operative who was deeply involved in the day-to-day fight over the Iran Deal. “The NSA’s collections of foreigners became a means of gathering real-time intelligence on Americans engaged in perfectly legitimate political activism—activism, due to the nature of the issue, that naturally involved conversations with foreigners. We began to notice the White House was responding immediately, sometimes within 24 hours, to specific conversations we were having. At first, we thought it was a coincidence being amplified by our own paranoia. After a while, it simply became our working assumption that we were being spied on.”

This is what systematic abuse of foreign-intelligence collection for domestic political purposes looks like: Intelligence collected on Americans, lawmakers, and figures in the pro-Israel community was fed back to the Obama White House as part of its political operations. The administration got the drop on its opponents by using classified information, which it then used to draw up its own game plan to block and freeze those on the other side. And—with the help of certain journalists whose stories (and thus careers) depend on high-level access—terrorize them.

Barack Obama weaponized the intelligence gathering machine on behalf of his Iran terrorist pals. Then Barack Obama used the weaponized intelligence apparatus to target and destroy Donald J. Trump. It’s a miracle that Donald Trump survived and thrived to become President Donald J. Trump.

Fox News in 2015 reported on the Obama corruption of the intelligence apparatus in this country to benefit his Iran terrorist pals:

The sweeping up of conversations between Israeli officials and U.S. lawmakers began in earnest earlier this year, ahead of a March visit to Capitol Hill by Netanyahu to speak out against the developing Iran nuclear deal, and continued through this past September, when the deadline for Congress to block the deal passed.

The Wall Street Journal also reported on the Obama corruption of intelligence gathering for his Watergating of Iran terrorist opponents:

The U.S., pursuing a nuclear arms agreement with Iran at the time, captured communications between Mr. Netanyahu and his aides that inflamed mistrust between the two countries and planted a political minefield at home when Mr. Netanyahu later took his campaign against the deal to Capitol Hill.

The National Security Agency’s targeting of Israeli leaders and officials also swept up the contents of some of their private conversations with U.S. lawmakers and American-Jewish groups. That raised fears—an “Oh-s— moment,” one senior U.S. official said—that the executive branch would be accused of spying on Congress.

The Obama corruption of the government intelligence agencies, whose mission is to protect the Republic from foreign enemies, turned those intelligence agencies into a threat on the Republic. Barack Obama corrupted the intelligence apparatus to attack Israel and defend Iran terrorists. Then Barack Obama turned that vast apparatus against Donald J. Trump.

It is a miracle. Nothing less than a miracle. Donald J. Trump overcame all the insurmountable odds that are somewhat “normal” in a political campaign. Donald J. Trump also overcame all the corrupt insurmountable corruptions of a politicized and weaponized intelligence gathering infrastructure to become President Donald J. Trump. It is nothing less than a miracle.

As the indefatigable Catherine Herridge reports the spying on American citizens associated with Trump was total:

Reports in unmasking controversy were detailed, had info about ‘everyday lives’

The intelligence reports at the center of the Susan Rice unmasking controversy were detailed, and almost resembled a private investigator’s file, according to a Republican congressman familiar with the documents.

This is information about their everyday lives,” Rep. Peter King of New York, a member of the House Intelligence committee said. “Sort of like in a divorce case where lawyers are hired, investigators are hired just to find out what the other person is doing from morning until night and then you try to piece it together later on.” [snip]

Nunes has consistently stated that the files caused him deep concern because the unmasking went beyond the former national security adviser Mike Flynn, and the information was not related to Moscow.

Herridge details how only 20 persons are authorized to approve “unmasking” requests so eventually we will see who it was that helped Susan Rice in her corruptions. Herridge also details how unusual what Susan Rice did is by showing how very rare it is. Herridge makes it clear that the corruption of the intelligence agency started before the presidential election in 2016. Herridge quotes Trey Gowdy of the intelligence committee as saying “It would be nice to know the universe of people who have the power to unmask a U.S. citizen’s name, because that might provide something of a roadmap to investigate who might’ve actually disseminated a masked U.S. citizen’s name.

There is an “extensive government paper trail, that can be audited within the NSA, that shows who requested the unmasking, on what basis, and whether it was granted. This raises more questions about Rice, her motivation and whether it was authorized higher up, offering cover.”

Chicken littles and their ilk, not fit for foxholes in battle, will bemoan and whine about Chairman Devin Nunes recusal today from the Intelligence Committee investigation into Russia and the election. These Chicken Little types always whine that the sky is falling. But Trey Gowdy and his allies are still on the Intelligence Committee. Chairman Nunes now does not have to reveal anything to the Schiff-heads on the Committee. And the fact that Obama Dimocrats took out Chairman Nunes by filing complaints about his handling of classified information with the Ethics Committee will continue the inquiry into the corruptions by Obama and Obama thugs of classified information.

Chicken Little and her ilk of losers will not understand that it does not matter if there is a fight, what matters is that there is a fighter. Fighters win fights whether the fight is sought or comes unbidden. What matters is that President Trump is a fighter:

The Trump administration has escalated its feud with the Obama administration, creating a virtually unprecedented situation in which the current and former U.S. executive branches are openly fighting.

President Trump on Wednesday said Obama-era national security adviser Susan Rice might have committed a crime by requesting the identities of Trump associates who were incidentally swept up in surveillance, though he cited no evidence to back up his claim.

I think it’s going to be the biggest story,” Trump told The New York Times. “It’s such an important story for our country and the world. It is one of the big stories of our time.

Gowdy at the Intelligence Committee. Big Pink on the job. President Trump in a fight for the Republic.

This is a fight for the Republic. Ann Althouse makes a smart observation:

I hope Susan Rice was keeping tabs on Trump’s Russia ties.
By Michelle Goldberg at Slate.

I love the way the messaging turns on a dime.

One minute it’s ridiculous to think that the Obama administration was doing surveillance on the Trump campaign. The next minute the Obama administration was doing the right thing if it did surveillance on the Trump campaign.

The Obama Dimocrat messaging has changed. That clues you in on the true impact of the Susan Rice revelations. Before, the Obama Dimocrat claim was that spying on Trump was crazy talk from a deranged President Trump. Now, the Obama Dimocrat claim is that spying on Trump was the necessary and smart thing to do. Winner? President Donald J. Trump the Miraculous savior of the Republic.

Want more miracles? A new Gallup poll, always an unfriendly poll for Trump, makes clear that despite all the attacks on President Trump from Big Media, President Trump has won the battle against Big Media:

Six in 10 in US See Partisan Bias in News Media

62% say news media favors one political party over the other
More believe media favors Democrats than Republicans
Clear majority of Americans say media is “often inaccurate”

In a contentious political landscape, Americans increasingly believe the news media generally favors one political party over the other. Sixty-two percent of U.S. adults say the media has a favorite, up from about 50% in past years. Just 27% now say the media favors neither major party. [snip]

Gallup asked those who perceive political bias in the news media to say which party the news media favors. Almost two-thirds (64%) of those who believe the media favors a political party say it is the Democratic Party. Only about a third as many (22%) believe the media favors Republicans.

Game Over! Miraculous President Donald J. Trump has won the battle against Big Media although Big Media won’t report the news.

Think we exaggerate about the miraculous power of President Donald J. Trump? Remember all that talk about President Donald J. Trump moving the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and how that would bring on World War III? Remember how recently despite Obama Dimocrat opposition the Trump American ambassador to Israel – who advocates for moving the American embassy to Jerusalem – David Friedman was confirmed which would surely bring on World War III?

Well, David Friedman is not yet the American ambassador to Israel but there is a President Donald J. Trump miracle in Israel now that Iran pal Obama is hiding out in Polynesia. Yeah, Russia is catching up to President Trump:

Russia recognizes west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a surprise announcement on Thursday, obtained exclusively by The Jerusalem Post. [snip]

No other country in the world recognizes any part of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

The statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry reads, “We reaffirm our commitment to the UN-approved principles for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement, which include the status of East Jerusalem as the capital of the future Palestinian state. At the same time, we must state that in this context we view West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

This is a sharp shift in Russian policy, which until now has formally held that Jerusalem should eventually be under a permanent international regime. The statement appears in English on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Russian web site.

While officials in Jerusalem interpreted this to mean that recognition of west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital will only come once east Jerusalem becomes the capital of a Palestinian state, The Jerusalem Post has learned that Moscow intends this recognition to go into effect immediately.

Russia moved to President Trump’s daring position on Israel, before David Friedman could bring on “World War III” doing what Russia has done. Because of Passover holidays and the “weeklong shutdown” in Israel which starts on April 10, Trump’s approved ambassador to Israel won’t be on the job in Israel. Because of protocol decisions by the Israeli government it is likely that David Friedman will be welcomed as the American ambassador to Israel in June. But the miracle, the embassy move reason Obama Dimocrats offered to not confirm David Friedman, has already happened. Jerusalem is now recognized as the capital of Israel by Russia and the United States will soon also confirm the position of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. World War III averted. A President Donald J. Trump miracle.

Why did Russia make this startling declaration? Perhaps this was all a well-timed dance by President Trump to allow Russia to take the credit for a President Trump policy. It could be. But we suspect that it is a President Trump miracle. The miracle in this case is that President Trump’s clear-eyed assessment of the political situation in the world is now accepted by Russia.

Why would Russia wake up? Maybe it is this very underreported story by American Big Media:

At least 14 people were murdered and 50 injured in the blast and horrifying pictures show bodies, blood and wreckage strewn across the carriage of the train blown up between Sennaya Ploshchad and Sadovaya metro stations in Russia’s second city.

Russian citizen Akbarzhon Jalilov, 22, who was born in Kyrgyzstan, has been named by security services as the suspected attacked who also planted a second device hidden in a fire extinguisher that failed to explode. [snip]

Police believe he has close links to radical Islamists.

Jalilov’s home country of Kyrgyzstan, which borders Kazakhstan and China in central Asia, is predominately Muslim and has seen up to 500 citizens travel to Syria to join ISIS. Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev were also born there.

Candidate for president Donald J. Trump frequently declared that he thought Russia could be a partner against Muslim terrorists. Russia this week got a taste of Muslim terror from the same source Boston sampled. Quislings in the West, particularly in Germany, don’t want to fight Muslim terrorists:

A decision by the city of Berlin not to illuminate its most famous landmark, the Brandenburg Gate, in the colors of the Russian flag to show solidarity with St Petersburg after an attack has provoked anger, with critics calling it a scandal.

In the past after attacks in other countries, the city has beamed the colors of flags of France, Turkey, Britain and the Netherlands onto the Brandenburg Gate, which divided East and West Berlin in the Cold War. [snip]

While lights at the Eiffel Tower in Paris will be switched off at midnight on Tuesday as a mark of respect for the victims of the St Petersburg attack, other European landmarks have been lit in their usual way.

The head of German broadcaster Deutsche Welle’s Russian service Ingo Mannteufel said the decision belittled victims of the St Petersburg attack at a time when the German government says it values the Russian people even if it disagrees with the Kremlin.

(The West) has a moral and political duty to show solidarity with the victims of terrorism in Russia. That the Brandenburg Gate was not illuminated in the Russian colors was therefore wrong, yes, it is even a scandal,” he wrote.

There are those in the West that want war with Russia. These same forces do everything to appease Muslim terrorists. Every attempt is made to goad President Trump to turn his eyes from Muslim terrorism and onto Russia. Thus far it has not worked.

The Susan Rice scandal and all the Obama Dimocrat perversions of the intelligence apparatus in this country have been geared towards leading President Trump into conflict with Russia. But even in the most totalitarian leftist precincts, warnings are sounded about this soon to fail tactic:

Putin Derangement Syndrome Arrives

Whatever the truth about Trump and Russia, the speculation surrounding it has become a dangerous case of mass hysteria [snip]

For seemingly the 100th time, social media is exploding. This is it! The big reveal! [snip]

One way we recognize a mass hysteria movement is that everyone who doesn’t believe is accused of being in on the plot. This has been going on virtually unrestrained in both political and media circles in recent weeks.

The aforementioned Mensch, a noted loon who thinks Putin murdered Andrew Breitbart but has somehow been put front and center by The Times and HBO’s Real Time, has denounced an extraordinary list of Kremlin plants.

She’s tabbed everyone from Jeff Sessions (“a Russian partisan”) to Rudy Giuliani and former Assistant FBI Director James Kallstrom (“agents of influence”) to Glenn Greenwald (“Russian shill”) to ProPublica and Democracy Now! (also “Russian shills”), to the 15-year-old girl with whom Anthony Weiner sexted (really, she says, a Russian hacker group called “Crackas With Attitudes”) to an unnamed number of FBI agents in the New York field office (“moles”). And that’s just for starters.

Others are doing the same. Eric Boehlert of Media Matters, upon seeing the strange behavior of Republican Intel Committee chair Devin Nunes, asked “what kind of dossier” the Kremlin has on Nunes. [snip]

Even Bernie Sanders has himself been accused of being a Putin plant by Mensch. But even he’s gotten on board of late, asking, “What do the Russians have on Mr. Trump?”

So even people who themselves have been accused of being Russian plants are now accusing people of being Russian plants. As the Russians would say, it’s enough to make your bashka hurt.

The entire article from leftist Matt Taibbi is worth reading to fully understand the crackpot left. At times it is comic as when it describes Senator Mark Warner’s antics which merit a trip to Bellevue insane asylum. But mostly it is a map of leftist lunacy. Even leftist loon Noam Chomsky thinks the entire Russia crackpottery is “a joke”.

Mostly though the Taibbi article is a summary of the miracle that is President Donald J. Trump. How did Donald J. Trump, short of a miracle possibly win the presidential election???

Since 2012 we often declared that all you needed to know was that 2016 would be a “change” election. We predicted a Trump victory on the Friday before the election and put forth our election map – which left open as “too close to call” the pivotal states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. We knew Trump would win and endorsed him because Trump was the change candidate. We were sure the candidate of change would win. But really!!!! With all the Susan Rice/Barack Obama corruptions of the election process how in hell did Donald J. Trump manage to win??? The odds against this victory become more vast, more immeasurable, the more this scandal develops.

It was a miracle.

President Trump today, against the weak Republican leadership, against the always ready to cave Republican senate, effectively managed to get Neil Gorsuch confirmed. The official vote will be tomorrow but it is a miracle that this has happened. We thought it would happen, but still, it is a miracle.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle. Against all odds Trump became President. Now we discover that Barack Obama corrupted the intelligence agencies to attack Trump.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle. Against all odds from Obama Dimocrats he is protecting America’s allies like Israel and attacking America’s enemies.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle. Against Obama Dimocrat attempts to subvert the Constitution and GOP weaklings afraid of their own shadows, Donald J. Trump will be able to appoint his nominees to the Supreme Court.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle. The great miracle is that President Donald J. Trump is the salvation of the Republic.

Our Republic is saved by President Donald J. Trump. Obama Dimocrats will not subvert the Constitution further in their attempt to only allow a Supreme Court justice of their own choosing from confirmation. The democratic election will have consequences. President Donald J. Trump will be able to follow the Constitution and appoint Supreme Court Justices.

Our Republic is saved by President Donald J. Trump. Obama Dimocrat attempts to bring about war with Russia and protect Muslim terrorist nations will not succeed.

Our Republic is saved by President Donald J. Trump. Here the people rule. Government Of, By, and For the people, shall not perish from the Earth. It is not the intelligence agencies that will determine our elections. Here the people rule.

President Donald J. Trump is a miracle and the salvation of our Republic.

Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!

From the article, leftist loon Noam Chomsky:

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-06/noam-chomsky-calls-democrats-obsession-russia-conspiracy-theories-joke

JUAN GONZÁLEZ: Noam Chomsky, I’d like to ask you about something that’s been in the news a lot lately. Obviously, all the cable channels, that’s all they talk about these days, is the whole situation of Russia’s supposed intervention in American elections. For a country that’s intervened in so many governments and so many elections around the world, that’s kind of a strange topic. But I know you’ve referred to this as a joke. Could you give us your view on what’s happening and why there’s so much emphasis on this particular issue?

NOAM CHOMSKY: It’s a pretty remarkable fact that—first of all, it is a joke. Half the world is cracking up in laughter. The United States doesn’t just interfere in elections. It overthrows governments it doesn’t like, institutes military dictatorships. Simply in the case of Russia alone—it’s the least of it—the U.S. government, under Clinton, intervened quite blatantly and openly, then tried to conceal it, to get their man Yeltsin in, in all sorts of ways. So, this, as I say, it’s considered—it’s turning the United States, again, into a laughingstock in the world.

So why are the Democrats focusing on this? In fact, why are they focusing so much attention on the one element of Trump’s programs which is fairly reasonable, the one ray of light in this gloom: trying to reduce tensions with Russia? That’s—the tensions on the Russian border are extremely serious. They could escalate to a major terminal war. Efforts to try to reduce them should be welcomed. Just a couple of days ago, the former U.S. ambassador to Russia, Jack Matlock, came out and said he just can’t believe that so much attention is being paid to apparent efforts by the incoming administration to establish connections with Russia. He said, “Sure, that’s just what they ought to be doing.”

So, meanwhile, this one topic is the primary locus of concern and critique, while, meanwhile, the policies are proceeding step by step, which are extremely destructive and harmful. So, you know, yeah, maybe the Russians tried to interfere in the election. That’s not a major issue. Maybe the people in the Trump campaign were talking to the Russians. Well, OK, not a major point, certainly less than is being done constantly. And it is a kind of a paradox, I think, that the one issue that seems to inflame the Democratic opposition is the one thing that has some justification and reasonable aspects to it.

Reelection!!! While Obama Dimocrats scream and lose, Trump supporters stand strong:

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/rnc-trump-re-election-campaign-raise-more-than-53-million-in-first-quarter-1491502477

Donors’ Enthusiasm for Trump Energizes RNC Fundraising
Together, campaign and RNC raised more than $53 million in first quarter

The Republican National Committee, together with President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, raised more than $53 million in the first quarter of 2017, according to party and campaign officials, fueled by the same class of online donors who flocked to Mr. Trump last year.

Of that, the RNC raised $41.3 million in the first three months of the year—more than double what its Democratic counterpart raised in the quarter after former President Barack Obama was elected in 2008—while Mr. Trump’s campaign raised $3.3 million and a joint committee between the two raised more than $9 million.

Some $12 million of the party’s haul came in March alone, up from $9.5 million in February but down from a whopping $20 million in January—the month Mr. Trump was sworn into office.

Republicans’ fundraising success suggests Mr. Trump’s small-dollar supporters are continuing to flock to the party, even as several of the president’s initiatives have been stalled and as his approval rating has slid below 40%—an unusually low figure so early into a presidency.

Frequent fundraising emails bearing Mr. Trump’s name brought in about 250,000 new online donors to the RNC, campaign and their joint committees, according to an RNC official. That marks a 398% increase over the number of new donors the RNC won in 2016—an election year.

The comparison with past GOP fundraising hauls in the years following an election is stark. [snip]

For a Republican candidate, Mr. Trump had unusual appeal among small donors, who typically give online. Donors giving $200 or less accounted for 65% of his total donations during the 2016 campaign, compared with 26% of the total donations to GOP nominee Mitt Romney in the 2012 cycle.

Republicans’ continued success among those donors is also in large part due to a steady stream of often provocative emails bearing Mr. Trump’s name that the campaign and party send to supporters on roughly a daily basis. “Vindicated,” read the subject of an email sent amid questions about Mr. Trump’s unsubstantiated claims that he had been wiretapped by his predecessor.

President Trump is already in reelection preparation. Trump supporters are all in. That’s why we don’t believe Big Media narratives or self-interested Big Media types who think Trump is not trumping.

Who rules America? The people and their appointed representatives or the intelligence apparatus?:

    http://dailycaller.com/2017/04/06/report-intel-community-stonewalling-investigation-into-illegal-leaks/?utm_campaign=atdailycaller&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=Social

Report: Intel Community Stonewalling Investigation Into Illegal Leaks

The intelligence community is stonewalling the investigation into who illegally leaked classified information about Trump associates to the press, lawmakers told Fox News.

Our requests are simply not being answered,” one House Intelligence committee source told Fox News. “The agencies are not really helping at all and there is truly a massive web for us to try and wade through.”

A source in the Senate Intelligence Committee had a similar story.

Any information that will help find the wide extent on the unmasking and surveillance is purposely not being provided,” the source said.

Call me old-fashioned, but why not just offer a very large, tax free financial reward, as well as immunity, to the first person at each agency that can offer up a leaker? With proof, of course.

There will suddenly be a large epidemic of bed-wetting within the intel communities.

Bannon attends Security Council meeting ONE day after being “removed”…from Brietbart
    (Lol…winning )

One day after what was demonstrably one of the most-covered stories by the media focused on the “removal” of Steve Bannon, President Trump’s top adviser, from the National Security Council (NSC), he attended a council meeting, the Washington Examiner reported on Thursday.
“White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has attended the first meeting of the National Security Council after he was removed from the principals committee Wednesday,” the Examiner story said.

Despite the headlines about Bannon’s removal, most media outlets included the fact that the change on the council only meant Bannon was no longer a permanent member on the council but that he retained top security clearance and could attend council meetings.

“Bannon is still permitted to go to NSC meetings,” Fox News reported on Wednesday.

CNBC reported that Bannon can attend council meetings by invitation of the president or H.R. McMaster, Trump’s national security adviser.

“He is one of the president’s closest and most trusted advisers,” a White House source told CNBC when asked why Bannon attended.

So, did Assad really order a gas attack on his own people? Or is this more fake news?

    The Syrian Gas Attack Persuasion
    Posted April 6th, 2017 @ 9:07am in #Trump #POTUS #Syria #war crimes #Assad

According to the mainstream media – that has been wrong about almost everything for a solid 18 months in a row – the Syrian government allegedly bombed its own people with a nerve agent.

The reason the Assad government would bomb its own people with a nerve agent right now is obvious. Syrian President Assad – who has been fighting for his life for several years, and is only lately feeling safer – suddenly decided to commit suicide-by-Trump. Because the best way to make that happen is to commit a war crime against your own people in exactly the way that would force President Trump to respond or else suffer humiliation at the hands of the mainstream media.

And how about those pictures coming in about the tragedy. Lots of visual imagery. Dead babies. It is almost as if someone designed this “tragedy” to be camera-ready for President Trump’s consumption. It pushed every one of his buttons. Hard. And right when things in Syria were heading in a positive direction.

    Interesting timing.
Super-powerful visual persuasion designed for Trump in particular.
Suspiciously well-documented event for a place with no real press.
No motive for Assad to use gas to kill a few dozen people at the cost of his entire regime. It wouldn’t be a popular move with Putin either.
The type of attack no U.S. president can ignore and come away intact.
A setup that looks suspiciously similar to the false WMD stories that sparked the Iraq war.
I’m going to call bullshit on the gas attack. It’s too “on-the-nose,” as Hollywood script-writers sometimes say, meaning a little too perfect to be natural. This has the look of a manufactured event.

My guess is that President Trump knows this smells fishy, but he has to talk tough anyway. However, keep in mind that he has made a brand out of not discussing military options. He likes to keep people guessing. He reminded us of that again yesterday, in case we forgot.

So how does a Master Persuader respond to a fake war crime?

He does it with a fake response, if he’s smart.

Watch now as the world tries to guess where Trump is moving military assets, and what he might do to respond. The longer he drags things out, the less power the story will have on the public. We’ll be wondering for weeks when those bombs will start hitting Damascus, and Trump will continue to remind us that he doesn’t talk about military options.

Then he waits for something bad to happen to Assad’s family, or his generals, in the normal course of chaos over there. When that happens on its own, the media will wonder if it was Trump sending a strong message to Assad in a measured way. Confirmation bias will do the rest.

There is also a non-zero chance that Putin just asked Assad to frame one of his less-effective Syrian generals for going rogue with chemical weapons, and executing him just to calm things down.

I don’t think we’ll ever know what’s going on over there. But I think we can rule out the idea that Assad decided to commit suicide-by-Trump.

What does President Trump do while the Chinese President is visiting? He sends a 50 Tomahawk message to the Chinese President:

The United States launched dozens of cruise missiles Thursday night at a Syrian airfield in response to what it believes was the Syrian government’s use of banned chemical weapons blamed for having killed at least 100 people on Tuesday, U.S. military officials told NBC News.

Two U.S. warships in the Mediterranean Sea fired at least 50 Tomahawk missiles intended for a single target — Ash Sha’irat in Homs province in western Syria, the officials said. That’s the airfield from which the United States believes the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad fired the banned weapons.

Message delivered to all. Xi, Putin, North Korea, Assad, Schumer, Ryan, Dims, GOP.

Bravo to Trump for responding to a dictator gassing his people. Obama ignored his own red line and this is why we are in the mess we are in . You cannot allow Assad to continuously kill his people with chemical weapons and look the other way(or as Obama did, blame everything on Israeli settlements). The media should be praising this act of strength as Trump is trying to protect their darling, precious Muslims/Arabs innocent civiians.

McConnell argued that Democrats’ opposition had nothing to do with Gorsuch and everything to do with the president making the nomination.

“It’s part of a much larger story, another extreme escalation in the left’s never-ending drive to politicize the courts and the confirmation process. It’s a fight they, and Democrats, have waged for decades with a singular aim: securing raw power, no matter the cost to country or institution,” he said on the floor. “It underlines why this threatened filibuster cannot be allowed to succeed or to continue: for the sake of the Senate, for the sake of the court, and for the sake our country.”

McConnell added that when he voted to confirm Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer, it was because he “respected the Senate’s tradition against filibustering Supreme Court nominees.”

“…No member of this Republican Conference, by the way, has ever voted to filibuster a Supreme Court nominee. Ever. Nobody on this side of the aisle has ever done that.”

  • wbboei

    That is an important point/

The problem is the filibuster itself applied to a judicial nominee with impeccable, and not the ending of that filibuster through the misleading term of going nuclear. Filibustering judicial nominees is unprecedented and an affront to democracy. Ending the filibuster is not a Republican invention but one devised by dirty Harry Reid. Either way you turn, the dims lose.

Admin: this is an interview with one of the sharpest knives in the drawer, cathering austin fitts, who was an investment banker, under secretary of the treasury and wall street analyst. The picture she paints is a competition between part of the deep state that wants to make america great again and another faction that wants to make America irrelevant. The former favors a republic, the latter a slave state for humanity. She mentions a discussion with one of the Rockefellers about putting a microchip in all human beings on earth and giving them a money supply which can be shut down if they misbeave. The bad guys go into countries and mine their human assets, sending the best and brighest to Silion Valley and thousands of children into pedophila rings. She believes the chances are over 50% that the pedophilia scandal in Washington will break this year. She has some keen insights on how the deep state is trying to undermine Trump, including which begins with using big media to take down his lieutenants, while secreting their own people into the adminstration, and then taking down the women around him which forces him to react because he is an alpha male. Finally, using the court system they control to thwart his agenda. She claims he must understand that Washington is a matrix system as opposed to a top down model and he needs someone who can master that system, just as Cheney did for Bush. Rence could have been that guy, except he is not.

    I just can’t believe the government pedophilia ring… I can’t allow myself to…. if it’s proven I’ll believe it, but it’s just too disgusting…

The vast majority of people are NOT attracted to children. How did such a minority all end up in government? Of course, it might be another reason that they have no qualms about Muslim colonization, because there sure seems to be a lot of pedophilia there (probably more accurately referred to as a seriously disturbed sexual hedonism combined with the belief that anyone they can catch or who shows flesh is there for their pleasure and not being disturbed by their victims’ screams and pain).

Of course, the opposite is even worse – that there are actually many more pedophiles than we know of in our own society. I can’t even fathom feeling any attraction to a child. I don’t even know why middle aged and old men are attracted to younger women – why would you want a relationship with someone who is so different than you are, based on being different generations?

It used to be easy – the few you would hear about, you could blame it on pervert men. But now every time you turn around, you hear about a young female teacher having sex with her middle school boy students.

But I guess if a white person can be black, and men can menstruate, and women can have a penis, then children can be adults… SMH…

Part of me is leaning towards what I think gonzo is saying…. I don’t know why Assad would do it. Were these people armed and fighting him? They’re being portrayed as innocent civilians. What’s the benefit of killing them…?

The upside of taking the red pill is being free to make your own decisions, to not have to follow what the party tells you, etc. Part of the upside is now having the knowledge that media lies, that politicians regardless of party are mostly just self-interested butts. But the downside is the same thing – yes, you’re free to make your own decisions, but in a situation across the world, how do you know whom to believe…?

Following the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case (being as it was in FL, with the Sunshine laws) I learned to read the evidence yourself (bypass the media), listen to the trial yourself, etc, so as to make your own decisions. But in something like Syria, we can’t see the “evidence” ourselves… so whom to trust…?

It has nothing to do with whether Assad is a good guy or bad guy – it’s that he’s not the only bad guy there. ISIS is there, and supposedly we were backing them. I’m interested in politics, but I hate politics lol

Red flags on the idea that Syria perpetrated this, in no particular order:
Syria, with Russia’s help, is winning against ISIS. Why would Assad use chemical weapons when he has nothing to gain and everything to lose?
This comes on the heels of the Dirty Rice Scandal
This comes the day before an international conference about the situation in Syria.
The USA, Syria, and Russia all concluded that the chemical weapons had been destroyed.
Sarin is fucking nasty, and it sticks around for a while. The White Hats showed up without any protection immediately after the chemical weapons had been deployed. They should be dead, along with the victims.

We know the “Moderate Rebels” have no compunctions about using chemical weapons themselves so long as they have a supplier. We also know that the US has funded these rebels through the CIA with resources, money, and weapons.
An anti-Assad reporter tweeted about a media campaign covering the use of chemical weapons by Assad a full day before it happened.
One of these is a blip. Two is a coincidence. Three is suspicious. Four brings serious doubt. Five just about seals the deal. I have seven.
If anyone else has evidence to add to this list please feel free to add it.

Spez: I will copy the other evidence others have posted below – 8. Doctor who the media interviewed had time for video conference calls with reporters while patients were “flooding in”
Same doctor had received anti-Sarin gear a week prior and gas masks 2-3 days prior to the attack, despite all of Syria’s Sarin deposits being destroyed by the Syrian government back in 2013
Number of “gas victims” is an exact match to the number of people recently kidnapped from the area by ISIS
Many of the “gas victims” have mysterious head wounds not explainable by the gas or by “falling down limp after being hit by the gas”
An anti-Assad reporter talked about the media campaign for the gas attack a full 24 hours prior.
John McCain visited Syria one month ago, just like he had visited Syria one month before the 2013 gas attacks
John McCain was immediately ready to say that Assad was behind these gas attacks, just like he did in 2013 (when it was later shown that it was actually the rebels who made a gas attack)
A US marine has informed me that I am incorrect about Sarin. Is dissipates pretty quickly. Despite this, when taking all the other evidence compiled by the rest of you beautiful people, we have fourteen to fifteen excellent reasons why this attack makes absolutely no goddamn sense, and plenty of reasons to believe the MSM is lying to us. This even comes down to the nature of the “attack”. A warehouse was bombed that contained the chemical agents, it was not a chemical weapon dropped on a warehouse. DISHONEST!

Even if all we had was number one I’d still believe it was al-Qaeda that did it. People who haven’t followed the conflict at all know that Assad has been kicking their asses for a while now. There would be no point in very very publically killing a bunch of civilians in a gas attack for no reason.

[–]archmcdWA 13 points 23 hours ago
Let’s not forget that under Bush, they falsified documents to justify going to war with Iraq over something that was purported to be far more serious than this.

[–]youforgotAUSA 17 points 23 hours ago
    8) Tulsi Gabbard interview published yesterday in which she asks on behalf of Trump if Assad would accept a direct call and he says yes.
    9) It wasn’t a chemical attack it was a bombing of a chemical weapons storage/production plant. MSM being very misleading.

Why would they knowingly bomb a chemical weapons cache though? That’s what I don’t get. If they knew what it was and did it anyways it’s concerning

[–]GunDropperRUS 4 points 20 hours ago*
How the fuck would they know what the terrorists have in the warehouses???Do you think ISIS puts up a content list on there web site ?Do they not bomb anything in case the terrorists may have something in there??You sound like CNN, they bombed a weapons depot that turned out it contained chemical weapons,do you think ISIS painted please dont bomb here as we are hiding illegal chemical weapons on the roof and they ignored it???

    Thy_Weapon_Of_WarNC 84 points 1 day ago
Yep. Do not believe the official story that Assad used chemical weapons. It was almost certainly ISIS who actually perpetrated the attack. In 2013, the Obama Administration hatched a false flag plan to have ISIS (who they armed and trained) use chemical weapons, and then lied and blamed Assad for the attack!

Ron Paul: Syria gas attack a false flag?

  • admin

Trump.

While I will not disagree with admin on the where and why of a Syria strike, it is going to jar Trump’s base. After two consecutive war monger presidents, part of the compact Trump established with his voters was no, less, fewer, something foreign entanglements and he is not president of the world but of the United States whose interests come first.I don’t know if this was absolutely necessary or not. And you do have to “get your licks in early” in geopolitics to not be taken advantage of. But it is awfully soon to be bombing whoever and disheartening to supporters of a more isolationist (at this time anyway for 16 years of non-stop war) bent.

And I will say that Jared and Ivanka are too prominent. Every meeting, every photo-op, every foreign leader, there they are front and center. Tone it down Mr President. They are starting to look like mini-president and mini-first activist first lady. They are both bright, hard working, and loyal but they seem like Kissinger (uber-mensch) in training wannabe and Hillary first term Clinton administration showing up everywhere to keep tabs on the help. They are very photogenic and I get it. Overexposure, too much responsibility too soon (they are very young and inexperienced in this work), any high profile missteps or mistakes and they are toast. You indicated that you would run a meritocracy administration. Seeming to favor the “kids” so much doesn’t come off that way and it creates problems with the rest of the staff.

Trump had no choice. Assad is using WMD on his civilian population. This was a very narrow but effective strike and it will probably result is some tough talk by Russia but nothing is going to go further. Assad will behave for a few months until the next time.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson addressed the media after Trump. He stated that the government has taken steps “on an international coalition to pressure Bashar Assad from power.” He also said that Russia needs to “consider carefully” its decision to keep supporting Assad:

Asked if the U.S. would organize a coalition to remove Assad, Tillerson said: “Those steps are underway.”

“It’s a serious matter, it requires a serious response,” Tillerson said, adding the recent attack “violates all previous U.N. resolutions, violates international norms and long-held agreements.”

Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams on his blog doesn’t think the Syrians used chemical weapons on that town but sees all sorts of advantages for Trump with this cruise missile attack on that airbase.

    http://blog.dilbert.com/post/159300836386/the-syrian-air-base-attack

As I blogged yesterday, the claim that Assad ordered a chemical attack on his own people in the past week doesn’t pass my sniff test. For Assad to order a gas attack now – while his side is finally winning – he would have to be willing to risk his life and his regime for no real military advantage. I’m not buying that.

But let’s say the world believes Assad or a rogue general under his command gassed his own people. What’s an American President to do? If Trump does nothing, he appears weak, and it invites mischief from other countries. But if he launches 59 Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian military air base base within a few days, which he did, the U.S. gets several benefits at low cost:

    1. President Trump just solved for the allegation that he is Putin’s puppet. He doesn’t look like Putin’s puppet today. And that was Trump’s biggest problem, which made it America’s problem too. No one wants a president who is under a cloud of suspicion about Russian influence.

    2. President Trump solved (partly) for the allegation that he is incompetent. You can hate this military action, but even Trump’s critics will call it measured and rational. Like it or not, President Trump’s credibility is likely to rise because of this, if not his popularity. Successful military action does that for presidents.

    3. President Trump just set the table for his conversations with China about North Korea. Does China doubt Trump will take care of the problem in China’s own backyard if they don’t take care of it themselves? That negotiation just got easier.

    4. Iran might be feeling a bit more flexible when it’s time to talk about their nuclear program.

    5. Trump’s plan of a Syrian Safe Zone requires dominating the Syrian Air Force for security. That just got easier.

    6. After ISIS is sufficiently beaten-back, the Syrian government will need to negotiate with the remaining entities in Syria to form a lasting peace of some sort that keeps would-be refugees in place. Syria’s government just got more flexible. It probably wants to keep the rest of its military.

    7. Israel is safer whenever an adversary’s air power is degraded.

On the risk side of the equation, we have the possibility of getting into war with Russia. I’d put those odds at roughly zero in this case because obviously the U.S. warned Russia about the attack. That means we knew their reaction before we attacked. And it was a measured response of the type Putin probably respects. I expect Russia to complain a lot but continue to partner with the U.S. against ISIS.

If it turns out that the sarin gas attack that sparked this military action didn’t come from Assad, it doesn’t much matter. President Trump will bank all of the benefits above even if the attack turns out to be a hoax. We know Assad had some chemical weapons at one point, and probably used them. No one will be crying for Assad if the attack was unnecessary. And realistically, the public will never be 100% sure who was behind the attack.

I doubt this is the first step in a larger plan for war to depose Assad. But if Assad thinks it might be, we have a stronger position over there.

I’m not pro-war, so this military action alarms me the same way it alarms most people. But objectively speaking, the risk-reward ratio for this attack on Syria’s air field was exceptionally good. You rarely see so many benefits arise from one limited military action.

I thought President Trump would hold off on military action in the service of regime change. That still seems to be the case. But once our intelligence services traced the plane that allegedly dropped the gas back to a specific air base, it opened the option that Trump took. I didn’t realize that our military knows what every aircraft in Syria is doing at all times. That’s impressive, bordering on hard-to-believe.

But it did occur to me that what with the sabre rattling we are witnessing

And while meeting with China who is enagaged in their own imperialistic ventures

Admin: out of the ashes of big media, a spent force, and the hand maiden of the Slave State envisioned by the globalists, comes something quite interesting, PROVIDED it could live up to its mission statement and core values, and does not descend into the same morass of corruption, deceit and Goebbels speak that defines the current state of big media.
    ———
    Our mission

We are a new media company delivering vital, trustworthy news and analysis in the most efficient, illuminating and shareable ways possible. We offer a mix of original and smartly narrated coverage of media trends, tech, business and politics with expertise, voice AND smart brevity — on a new and innovative mobile platform. At Axios — the Greek word for worthy — we provide only content worthy of people’s time, attention and trust.

    The Axios Manifesto

All of us left cool, safe jobs to start a new company with this shared belief: Media is broken — and too often a scam.

Stories are too long. Or too boring. Web sites are a maddening mess. Readers and advertisers alike are too often afterthoughts. They get duped by headlines that don’t deliver and distracted by pop-up nonsense or unworthy clicks. Many now make money selling fake headlines, fake controversies and even fake news.

Can you imagine Ford being obsessed mainly with whether the engineers love the howl and design of the F-150 engine, instead of simply delivering an awesome truck people want to drive? Never. But that’s what digital media companies too often do. They produce journalism the way journalists want to produce it. And they design their products to maximize short-term buzz or revenue — not deliver the best experience possible.

We are engineering Axios around a simple proposition: Deliver the cleanest, smartest, most efficient and trust-worthy experience for readers and advertisers alike.

    Our guiding principles include:

    Reader first

The data on what news readers want is unmistakable: content they can trust — delivered way, way more efficiently. No bias. No nonsense. Every piece of content we produce will be broken and narrated with true expertise – and then summarized in one shareable element. You can decide whether to go deeper. Often, there’s no need. We have one agenda: help people get smarter, faster. So we designed our content to move seamlessly from our platform to other ecosystems, including Facebook and Apple News, to meet readers on their terms, not ours.

    Elegant efficiency

Make reading, watching and listening as clean and reader-friendly as possible. This means killing everything from banner ads and pop-ups to topic pages and other web features designed for clicks, not usability. Our site eliminates traditional click-based pages AND allows you to view our content without leaving your stream of news. Our design guru, Alexis Lloyd, coined the term “elegant efficiency” to guide our every iteration.

    Smart, always

Assume smart people want smart content — on our platform and beyond. Many don’t want serious news and information. We focus only on those who do — and then resist all the traffic-based temptations to dumb things down. We have hired people with social media superpowers and asked them to quit using those powers to attract traffic for traffic’s sake, and instead use them as a force for good: Getting smart content in front of readers on our platforms and on Facebook, Apple News, LinkedIn and other social ecosystems.

    Don’t sell BS

It’s hard to argue with a straight face that newspaper ads, or banners, or expensive, glossy native advertising programs are the most effective means for communicating. We developed a lower-cost, more measurable and adjustable way for advertisers to do native advertising within our platform AND within our content on Facebook. We want to work with advertisers so they feel they get awesome, measurable value — and the respect and return they deserve.

    Smart Brevity

If you think about your evolving habits for consuming news and information, you realize you have less time, and a shorter attention span. Our content, our ads and our platforms are designed specifically to adjust to these new habits and demands. We aim to make the experience more substantive and meaningful — and therefore more valuable. When we pull this off, it will free people up to spend time on content truly WORTHY of their time, on our platform or elsewhere.

    Excellence, always

Media is a tough business. But it is a business, not a right, or charity or hobby. You distinguish yourself by delivering at a very high level on promises you make to news consumers, advertisers and subscribers. We believe life is simple: If we think big, deliver on our big promises, and show authentic appreciation for those who read and support us, we will be successful. So, thank you for reading this.

    ——–
    Yes.

    But the problem runs deeper.

There is a war going on within the adminstration.

It is between nationalists who echo his campaign promises

And globalists who echo establishment thinking and are enablers of the slave state of globalism.

Ivanka and Jared are described as moderates.

Trump’s increasing reliance on them, and the case of characters being considered to replace Rence

Cause me profound concern that the establishment figures will take over again.

At the outset, there were two things I was concerned with:

First, the possibility that the Washington bureacracy would thwart his agenda.

We have seen that now in spades, as the little judges stop his executive order on immigration

And the intelligence community continue to stonewall, and turn the screw

Rence has been dead man walking now for over a month

His second in command, Katie Walsh was leaker and that is why she was fired.

She had an open channel of communication with that NYT ideologue Maggie Habberman.

And if you believe Rence knew nothing about that, then you must also believe in the tooth fairy.

I believe he has been telling the anti Trump cabal all along, hey I don’t worry.

I have got that orange haired maniac under control, he does not know what he is doing, so I tell him what to do.

    So Rence is out.

Who Trump selects as to replace him will answer the real question, i.e. how blows the wind

The other thing that is critical with so many RINOs crashing the gates of this Administration

And neocons like Elliot Abrams walking around with hard ons over this surgical attack on the Syrian air base

    Bannon MUST survive.

The deep state is going after him, just as they did General Flynn.

Bannon says he loves a gun fight.

Like the Gary Cooper in high noon, Bannon needs to kill the enemy and survive the ordeal

Because he is the most prominent and reliable nationalist, and anti establishment figure left in the Administration.

Do not forsake me oh my darling, etc.

Wbb, Laura said as much the same, Preibus is out but the names being floated are Globalists, like McCarthy.
She was a big Trump supporter but she fears the worst and does not like the children having such huge roles, especially because they don’t have the experience and are globalist leaning.
As I said, I don’t like it either, this isn’t his personal business, but he’s using the same model, family.
If Bannon goes, that will be the big tell. Then the dams will open up and his base will split.
This is our last shot to save the Republic. If he goes globalist, I think it will be too late to turn back and his base will join the left to get a piece of the pie entitlements that the left gives out with our money.

Conservative Treehouse was wrong about the “100%” guarantee there would be no filibuster. There was a filibuster. Our analysis was correct:

    http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-court-gorsuch-idUSKBN1791GR

In big win for Trump, Senate approves his conservative court pick

The Republican-led Senate on Friday gave Donald Trump the biggest triumph of his young presidency, confirming his Supreme Court nominee over stout Democratic opposition and restoring a conservative majority on the highest U.S. judicial body. [snip]

The Senate’s approval of Gorsuch, 49, reinstates the nine-seat court’s 5-4 conservative majority, fulfilling an important campaign promise made by the Republican president.

Gorsuch was the youngest Supreme Court nominee since Republican President George H.W. Bush in 1991 picked Clarence Thomas, who was 43 at the time. Gorsuch could be expected to serve for decades, while Trump could make further appointments to the high court to make it even more solidly conservative because three of the eight justices are 78 or older. [snip]

Gorsuch’s confirmation gave a boost to Trump, showing he can get important agenda items through a Congress controlled by his fellow Republicans after the House of Representatives last month failed to pass healthcare overhaul legislation. Trump is planning major tax cut legislation as well.

Senate Republicans resorted to extraordinary steps to overcome Democratic opposition to Gorsuch, including changing long-standing Senate rules to prohibit the use of a procedural blockade called a filibuster for Supreme Court nominees. The rule change was dubbed the “nuclear option” because it was considered an extreme break from Senate tradition. [snip]

The rule change could make it easier for Trump to win confirmation of Supreme Court nominees as long as Republicans control the Senate, with Democrats left powerless to resist even if he gets a chance to replace the court’s senior liberal, 84-year-old Ginsburg, or the court’s swing vote, 80-year-old Kennedy, with more conservative replacements. [snip]

Gorsuch will be sworn in on Monday in two different ceremonies, one at the court and one at the White House. He can then prepare for the court’s next session of oral arguments, starting on April 17. The court’s current term ends in June. Gorsuch is expected to hear arguments in 13 cases.

    From Brietbart… Mr Farage… worried

Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage has expressed concern over “supporter and friend” U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s decision to approve the launch of 60 U.S. Tomahawk missiles on Syria’s Shayrat air base in south-east Homs.
“I have to say, I woke up to this news this morning very, very surprised. And I think a lot of Trump voters will be scratching their heads hard and asking, ‘where does this go from here?’” said Mr. Farage Friday morning, speaking on the LBC radio network.

The MEP told presenter Nick Ferrari: “I’m a Trump supporter and friend, and one of the things that I think helped him gain votes was the idea that we shouldn’t endlessly get involved militarily in the Middle East without fully thinking through the implications of what we’re doing.

“I think back to Libya a few years ago and, unarguably, we’ve made the world worse as a result of our intervention.”

Pointing out that his platform of non-interventionism was one of the president’s key selling points during the 2016 U.S. election campaign, Mr. Farage said the world “could have done with more certainty” over the situation in Syria before the U.S. launched airstrikes.

Other figures in the UK have taken to Twitter to express their dismay at the bombing, with current UKIP leader Paul Nuttall saying he “hoped for better” from President Trump.

And UKIP backer Arron Banks highlighted a tweet made by the U.S. president in 2013, which insisted America should “stay out” of Syria, and called the recent decision to launch airstrikes “stupid”.

“Who stole my President?” asked UK columnist and radio personality Katie Hopkins, who was one of the property tycoon’s first vocal supporters in the British media.

U.S. senators such as Lindsey Graham and John McCain, who have repeatedly criticised Trump’s populist platform, showered praise on the president for ordering the strike in retaliation for a chemical weapons attack allegedly ordered by Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad.

But former House of Representatives member and presidential candidate Ron Paul argued that there is “zero chance” the Syrian president was to blame for the chemical attack, pointing out that “it doesn’t make any sense for Assad under these conditions to all of a sudden use poison gases”.

    Another mystery erupts in Sweden:

Terror in Stockholm as ‘hijacked’ truck rams into shoppers with five feared dead and hundreds running for their lives
WARNING – GRAPHIC CONTENT: Witnesses say the large vehicle drove into people in the Drottninggata area of the Swedish capital

A truck has rammed into a large crowd of people in the centre of Stockholm killing at least five people and injuring others in a suspected terror attack.

Witnesses say the large vehicle – which is thought to be stolen – drove into people in the shopping district of Drottninggatan in the Swedish capital.

Footage from the scene shows terrified shoppers fleeing in terror. Unconfirmed reports say three armed men jumped out of the truck with two shot dead by police.

Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said everything indicated the crash was a terrorist attack, as police confirmed two people had been detained in connection with the incident.

It comes after trucks were used in terror attacks in Nice and Berlin last year.

Footage from the scene shows hundreds of people fleeing in terror when the truck crashed into the shoppers at 1.53pm UK time.

Lots of pictures and more details at link. This should fill everyone in the West with anger and resolve. We are not sad about this. Sometimes the only way people learn is with a knock on the head. Sweden will continue to get hammered at the head if they don’t learn.

“Initial indications are that this strike has severely damaged or destroyed Syrian aircraft and support infrastructure and equipment at Shayrat Airfield, reducing the Syrian government’s ability to deliver chemical weapons,” Captain Jeff Davis, a Pentagon spokesman, said, according to Reuters.

Davis said the U.S. was still assessing the result of the 59 Tomahawks it fired, expressing hope that Assad’s government learned a lesson. He said it was ultimately “the regime’s choice” if more U.S. military action would be needed.

The anti-Trump left is just now beginning to get up off the floor after the Syria attack. Today the left started very depressed and suicidal because of President Trump’s attack on Syria and the success of getting Gorsuch on the high court.

As the day progresses, the anti-Trump loony left has come up with a pick-me-up scenario to lift their depleted spirits. Can you guess, can you imagine with your most active imagine mind on, what has picked up hopes on the left? Cue the Jeopardy clock.

Susan Rice bowl keeps on giving:

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/04/07/susan-rice-obama-colleagues-take-heat-for-past-claims-on-syria-chemical-weapons-purge.html

Susan Rice and other former Obama administration officials are taking heat for past claims that their 2013 Syria agreement successfully led to the Assad regime purging its entire chemical weapons stockpile — in the wake of this week’s alleged sarin gas attack. [snip]

Video footage from the chemical attack scene immediately raised credibility problems for claims made by members of the Obama administration that the prior agreement had rid the war-torn country of chemical agents.

During an interview this past January with National Public Radio, former National Security Adviser Rice touted the “success” in Syria, in striking a deal with Russia’s help that resulted in the prior administration dropping the threat of military action.

We were able to find a solution that didn’t necessitate the use of force that actually removed the chemical weapons that were known from Syria, in a way that the use of force would never have accomplished,” she boasted. “We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.” [snip]

In July 2014, then-Secretary of State John Kerry went on NBC’s “Meet the Press” to discuss the September 2013 deal that resulted in Russia agreeing to help confiscate and then destroy Syria’s stockpile.

We struck a deal where we got 100 percent of the chemical weapons out,” Kerry claimed. [snip]

In August 2016, a U.N. report revealed that Assad had used chlorine gas against civilians on two separate occasions since the 2013 deal – a clear violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention. Despite that report, members of the Obama administration continued to claim they had been successful in disarming Assad’s chemical weapons arsenal.

They routinely touted the diplomatic nature of the joint U.S.-and-Russia brokered deal.

Obama issued his infamous “red line” warning to Syria’s leader in 2012 not to use chemical weapons. In 2013, when reports surfaced that Assad used sarin gas to kill his people, the deal to remove chemical weapons was intended to avert military action.

The president himself on Aug. 18. 2014 said that “the most lethal declared chemical weapons possessed by the Syrian regime were destroyed by dedicated U.S. civilian and military professionals” and that it had been done “several weeks ahead of schedule.”

On Jan. 6, 2015, then-White House Press Secretary John Earnest praised Russia for its role in destroying the chemical weapons stockpile of the Assad regime.

“That was an important step, because it reduced, or essentially eliminated, the proliferation risk from that declared chemical weapons stockpile, that we could essentially destroy those chemical weapons and ensure that terrorists would not be able to get their hands on them and use them in other places.”

Five months later on June 17, 2015, Earnest said that the “declared chemical weapons stockpile that Assad previously denied existed has now been acknowledged, rounded up, removed from the country and destroyed precisely because of the work of this administration and our successful efforts to work with the Russians to accomplish that goal.”

On Thursday night, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson slammed Russia for failing to do its part in preventing the Syrian government from using chemical weapons, despite the 2013 agreement to remove weapons from the country.

Either Russia has been complicit or Russia has been simply incompetent,” Tillerson said.

Those like the Treehouse that claim there were no chemical weapons in Syria, to attack PDT, sound like Susan Rice.

    Hooray! Another racist victory:

    https://spectator.org/ferguson-the-town-that-george-soros-couldnt-shut-down/

Ferguson: The Town That George Soros Couldn’t Shut Down

The last thing the Obama Justice Department wanted was to see Mayor James Knowles re-elected. [snip]

On matters in which Ferguson voters had a direct say, The Narrative did not have as much influence. In April 2015, Ferguson elected its first black female city council member, Ella Jones, with the support of incumbent Mayor James Knowles. A leftist campaign commenced to force a recall election to remove Knowles — “the face of Whiteness” — from office. Ferguson voters were unmoved. They did not provide the required number of petition signatures to trigger a recall.

Under threat of a costly lawsuit alleging civil rights violations, Knowles skillfully led the city’s negotiations in early 2016 with the Obama Justice Department. He mobilized a unanimous city council vote to reject an Obama ultimatum Knowles maintained was too onerous for the city. After negotiating some changes, he achieved another unanimous city council vote to accept a consent decree with the Justice Department.

With that crucial decision completed, Mayor Knowles announced he would seek a third three-year term in the April 2017 municipal election. Ella Jones declared her candidacy to unseat him.

For the most part, her campaign appealed to identity politics. She asked Ferguson voters to “make history” by electing the town’s first black mayor. [snip]

She campaigned with Al Sharpton; this did not make the impression for which she had hoped. Since she had followed Knowles’ lead on the two key council decisions on the Justice Department deal, Jones was unable to express substantive policy differences with the mayor.

Ferguson municipal elections are formally nonpartisan, but voters usually know candidates’ party affiliations, if any. Blue-collar, largely African-American Ferguson is probably 80 percent Democrat. Knowles previously had won municipal elections despite being well known as a Republican; he once had been Missouri State Chairman of the Young Republicans. In the election campaign this month, Knowles per his custom avoided mentioning his party affiliation, but Jones energetically campaigned as a Democrat.

The editorial board of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, dependably left-wing on national issues, to the dismay of the Soros network endorsed Knowles. The editorial remarked, “in a joint interview with Knowles, Jones struggled to answer basic governance questions and seemed ill-prepared to take on the formidable challenges of the office.” [snip]

Knowles, like most people in Ferguson, has blue collar roots. All the same, he is a political intellectual, a policy wonk, and a professional in public administration. In the latter category he has a master’s degree. Ferguson has a city manager system, so Knowles by law is limited to being a part-time mayor with an annual salary of — this is not a typographical error — $4,200. Luckily for Ferguson, Knowles adds a great deal of value for the money. [snip]

When the ballots were counted, Knowles won with 57 percent.

At the Knowles election watch party at the Ferguson Lions Club, the national and international media that used to be so obsessed with Ferguson were nowhere to be seen.

In 2014, Big Media made Ferguson into what Daniel Boorstin called a pseudo-event. Today, the same propaganda apparatus treats it as a non-event.

Our “Big Media” moniker is catching on. We see it more and more every year. In Ferguson Big Media and the left lost.

Trump used to be the Hillary “plant”. Then Trump became the Putin “plant”. Now Trump is the power plant:

Putin’s Syria Gambit at Risk as Trump Challenges With Strike

Russian President Vladimir Putin risks losing hard-won gains in Syria now that the U.S. has upended the balance of forces by striking at his ally President Bashar al-Assad after accusing him of a chemical attack that killed scores of people.

While Russia is hoping the barrage of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles launched at a Syrian airbase early Friday doesn’t signal further U.S. military involvement, it’s bracing for more confrontation as Secretary of State Rex Tillerson prepares for his first visit to Moscow next week. [snip]

The U.S. airstrikes may be a “one-off” that Trump doesn’t intend to repeat, said Kortunov, the head of the Kremlin-linked research group.

But the goal may also have been to demonstrate “that the U.S. is ready for such actions and on a larger scale if necessary,” he said. “And this is a signal to Putin that Trump isn’t like Obama and won’t stand on ceremony.” [snip]

Russia is facing major problems because its small and cheap war in Syria could only work in the absence of serious Western involvement,” Barabanov said. “If the U.S. decides to jump in, Moscow will have to risk serious confrontation — unlikely just for some Assad — or put its tail between its legs.

Vladimir Putin will release all the nude pictures of Trump and hookers and all the other blackmail “we control you Donald” materials Russia has on President Donald J. Trump.
    ——————
Admin: I wish to compliment them for, if nothing else, consistency. In a world of changing shapes and forms, consistency has been called a gem. However, it has also been said that a foolish consistency, such as theirs, is the hobgoblin of small minds. And if that is true, then a consistent delusion is worse.

Moreover, as Roger Stone has observed, this is the m.o. of rabid dims, i.e. accusing the other side of doing the very things they are doing themselves. In that case, it is not unlikely that Putin has within his care, custody and control dirty pictures of Pelly, Moonves, Dick erson, Rhoades, Schumer inter alia cavorting with under aged boys. To which I say: le bon temps roule.

P.S. NYPD sources have mentioned Schumer and Perez in connection with the pedophile scandal which is likely to break later this year. Time will tell.

Trump is a fighter. That is for sure. The only way to beat him is to overwhelm him and so he has to pick his fights, even when his first impulse would be to fight. Refusing to engage in the Russian Conspiracy Inquisition with his best people is understandable and actually, quite wise, from this perspective. No time for kangaroo courts when you need to bomb the crap out of Assad’s chemical weapons.

    Trump is on target.

Talk about leading the witness. This is gauche. First, Andrea asks the congenital liar, fried rice, whether she would testify before Congress. For a minute, fried rice, squirms and lost for words. Then, she launches 30 second diatribe about how she as an American citizen is not just curious, not just concerned, but mortified by the possibility that the Russians hacked the election, then she sort of melts like the Wicked Witch of the east. Seeing this occur, its Andrea to the rescue, bugler sound the charge. Andrea then leads fried rice to safety by saying, well then you had reason to unmask Trump, because you needed to know who it was and why it was important, etc. In other words, there was nothing scandalous, untoward, or illegal in what you did. On the contrary, this was an act of patriotism. Correct? Whereupon a very grateful fried rice fried obviously agrees.

Finally, a great week for us..Gorsuch appointed, Syrai bombed, and democrats opened the door for the nuclear option to be issued for all future SCOTUS candidates.

As a caveat, I pray Gorsuch is not another Roberts. If the travel ban hits the SCOTUS< it should be held vcalid 9-0, but we know 4 of them will always vote against protecting our country because they hate Trump.

    Sean Spicer as Kindergarten Cop

    Posted by William A. Jacobson

    Friday, April 7, 2017 at 8:30pm
Comedy Central tries to mock Sean Spicer, but actually mocks the press.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, like the rest of the entertainment industry, is no friend of the Trump administration or Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

But sometimes the entertainment industry, in its desire to mock Trump, ends up mocking itself or other Trump haters.

We saw that with the Saturday Night Live skit about a Trump-loving dog.

And Noah did the same thing portraying Spicer as a kindergarten teacher dealing with unruly press children.

It was a take-off on Kindergarten Cop:

    (Too funny please embed)

After a minute of Trump and Spicer bashing, the video cuts to the key scene:

Clearly, Noah means to mock Spicer. But he did a better job mocking the press.

Because they live in a liberal bubble, the press and Noah don’t understand that the public views the press as unruly kindergarteners. So the joke was on them.

    ………………………..

“At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child — miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.”….PJ O’Rourke

No time for kangaroo courts when you need to bomb the crap out of Assad’s chemical weapons.

Lu, my understanding is that we bombed the airfield, not any chemical weapons.

I still don’t know what is true. Some reports are that Assad dropped chemical weapon bombs, and other reports are that he (someone) bombed a warehouse that (they did or didn’t know) had the chemical weapons in it.

And I’ve been hearing that we’ve (under Obama) been supporting ISIS, while Russia and Assad have been fighting ISIS, and making good progress at it.

I don’t know anyone there and I don’t have someone I trust who has inside knowledge, so I just don’t know what’s what with this whole situation. I don’t even know how we know the airplane (that either bombed the chemical weapon warehouse or fired chemical weapons at the warehouse) took off from the airfield we bombed….

  • lorac

admin – so often (always?) you have a different opinion than other sites, and you turn out to be right. So it’s not new for you to think one thing, and others to think another. So I don’t understand what seems to be pretty strong animosity towards other sites (and some of your own readers) who aren’t right where you are right now. That seems new (and curious) to me. I sincerely hope everything is okay with you. But I know I am not a dolt or an idiot.

  • wbboei

Admin: Update: Thursday, April 6, 2017 via President Trump can be summarized “during the day he nuked the Senate, at night he bombed Syria“. Yet some dolts don’t see the brilliance and miracle of President Trump.
    ————–
Then those dolts will never see the art that conceals the art, which is the hallmark of a world class negotiator.

The chemical weapons used to kill civilians was developed by Saddam Hussein, grabbed by the Iranians when the big media beloved messiah left Iraq so he could campaign on that issue in 2012, and was sold or given to Iran/Russia’s ally Assad, who used it once and Obama said no no no no no, etc. and signed a treaty that required Putin to find and destroy those stockpiles. Mad dog developed a plan to take them out if Russia failed. The military was ready to take them out on the day they were used on civilians, but Trump said I want to wait until the Chinese leader gets to Maralago, and I am having dinner with him. Then you have the green light to hit the airfield. He arranged it in such as way that before they had desert he got a phone call from a shill and exusted himself from the table just before desert. When he came back to the table he told the Chinese leader that we had just hit the Lybian airfield, and the Chinese leadger was amazed. If Obama has been in charge, and he did not simply turn the other cheek and apologize for 300 years of western imperialism and smash th Churchill bust, then at a minimum he would have waited until after the Chinese leader left town. But in this case he wanted to do it when the Chinese leader was with him. He wanted to guage the response, to get the Chinese leader believing that we will take similar action against Chinese expansion if circumstances so warrant. Beyond that however this was payback for the time taht Obama visited China, no one came out to meet him. This was more than an affront on the big media messiah. This was an affront on the office of the president, and Trump’s objective was to ensure that China recognized there was a new sheriff in town. Again, this is a fine example of the art that conveals the art, which is invisible to the jackals of big media.

Because Russia breached its commitment to destroy Assad’s chemical weapons, and because American troop were fairly close by and could ill afford exposure to chemical weapons, Trump had all the moral authority he needed to order to attack.

I am not a Nikki Haley fan, and I let my feelings on that subject be known. I was all for her in the primary, and was proud of the way she stood up to the RINO establishment in her state. But when she got cross ways with the history of that state, and trashed one of its symbols and trashed Trump, she was dead to me, as someone I could ever support, and whatever she does at the UN hold zero interest for me. However I am told that she is fully on board with Trump so the obvious question became what changed. Trump did not want to hire her for those reasons but Gingrich asked him to keep his power dry until he could go down and talk to her. When he did so, Newt told her there is a future for you in the Republican Party, but you need to stop listening to the wrong advice. Cruz is a talker, and Rubio has an angelic face, but neither one of them can carry the water. Trump on the other hand will and since you consider me to be a friend, let me give you some friendly advice. Get behind Trump and if he happens to offer you a job in his administration then by all means take it. Unlike the other two Trump has what it takes to lead this nation.

In perusing the media this a.m. it is apparent that Obama is no longer an entity of any interest or importance. Close observers saw it shift the night his dynasty failed utterly with the election after petering out in fact if not in marketing blather. His subsequent bug out pretty much sums it up. After mouthing off that he was going to rebuild the Dem party (he wrecked) and lead the resistance, lecture and hector, build a shrine to himself, he decamped on all of his vacations. Out of site out of mind. And NOT fundraising for the Democrats (which he never did unless it was for himself). The diehards mention him sometimes but the rest are forgetting him. And the wreck he left behind is beginning to be cleaned up but the fools who carried out his schemes are in the cross-hairs, alone. President Bug Out. He left them high and dry at the first opportunity.

    NEW ARTICLE IS UP

I cannot begin to tell you how much the next post has made me laugh.
But there are errands to be run.
I will leave it unread and post my indignation for the following protest by presenting it here. Altho I think it can only help Trump more.
    (If that is possible.)

Syrians in Pennsylvania protest US airstrikes
    Updated: April 7, 2017 — 7:14 PM EDT
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) – Members of a large Syrian Christian community in eastern Pennsylvania have held a rally in opposition to the U.S. airstrikes in Syria.

Dr. Khaldoun Makhoul, a Syrian-born physician who immigrated to the United States, organized of Friday’s rally in Allentown. He and other demonstrators say that if Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s administration is toppled, chaos will erupt.

“ISIS will be in Damascus, after that Jordan, Lebanon, and within a month will be in Europe,” he tells WPVI-TV.

The city has one of the nation’s largest Syrian populations. They’re mostly Christian.

The Rev. Anthony Sabbagh says in doing the airstrikes the U.S. “became the judge, the jury, and the executioner.” He says he was speaking only for himself.

Syrians in Allentown assert that civilians were exposed to chemical weapons from a rebel arsenal hit by Syrian warplanes.
