The Secret Speech Tonight: Power To The People! @RealDonaldTrump Make America One Again At #RCNinCle

We wrote a speech for Donald J. Trump to deliver to the convention tonight. We won’t publish it here. We’ll outline that speech.

The unsubmitted speech we wrote, one that Donald J. Trump should deliver, is essentially an explanation of HOW to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. The first part of the speech is a diagnosis of the problems the American people and the American economy and government face. In the first half Donald J. Trump should perform a scientific analysis of what ails our country and polity, then write the prescription for HOW to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

HOW to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN? It’s not that difficult. Donald J. Trump can begin with the presidential oath of office:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Donald J. Trump’s great slogan for this all important election is “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN”. Those four words are easy to make come true if another four words come true. The oath of office followed by four words can indeed “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN”.

What are the four words that can “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” a reality? Those four words are “POWER TO THE PEOPLE”.

Yup, that 1960s Black Panther rallying cry can easily help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. As we wrote yesterday, the Republican National Convention has been a wholesale theft of the working class from what once was the great Democratic Party. So why not steal from the Black Panther Party? Those four words might even shake black Americans enough to consider the debased state they are in and vote for Donald J. Trump so they can thrive, not just survive. MAKE AMERICA ONE AGAIN.

For that matter Donald J. Trump should plagiarize, or rather take a direct quote from that reptile Lyin’ Ted Cruz. Donald J. Trump should cite this line from Lyin’ Ted Cruz:

And citizens are furious, rightly furious, at a political establishment that cynically breaks its promises, and that ignores the will of the people.

Lyin’ Ted Cruz broke his promise, ignored the will of the people, and collaborated with the political establishment to advance himself at a brokered convention controlled by the GOP establishment not the votes of the people. Lyin’ Ted Cruz and the rest of the political establishment is why we need POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

Donald J. Trump’s speech tonight should steal liberally from the brilliant speech of Donald Trump, Jr.:

We will not accept the current state of our country because it’s too hard to change. That’s not the America I know.

We’re going to unleash the creative spirit and energy of all Americans.

We’re going to make our schools the best in the world for every single American of every single ethnicity and background.

We’re going to put Americans first. All Americans. Not a special class of crony elites at the top of the heap.

We’re going to elect a president who will work with everyone to pass legislation that will make our country great again.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

  1. MAKE AMERICA ONE AGAIN is tonight’s theme.

Gay billionaire from Silicon Valley California will speak tonight to the great consternation of the divide and conquer crowd.

Thiel boasts a World Chess Federation rating of 2,199, one point short of the group’s lowest honorific, candidate master. At 48, he’s co-founded PayPal, was Facebook’s first outside investor, and is worth almost $3 billion. He still sits on Facebook’s board, and through his firm, Founders Fund, made early bets on Spotify, Airbnb, SpaceX, Lyft, Palantir Technologies, and a half-dozen other private companies worth more than $1 billion each.

His status as ringleader of the PayPal Mafia, the network of former employees and co-founders that includes SpaceX’s Elon Musk and LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman, makes him one of Silicon Valley’s most influential and admired figures; his iconoclastic politics make him a subject of amusement. Not coincidentally, and disconcertingly to many of those close to him, Thiel is also one of Donald Trump’s most prominent backers.

    Thursday: Make America One Again

America faces serious challenges at home and threats from abroad. In order to turn our challenges into opportunities and keep America secure, we need leadership that will focus on what unites us, not what divides us. Donald Trump will move our country beyond the divisive identity politics that have been holding us back by restoring leadership, building trust, and focusing on our shared love of country and our common goal of making America great again..

CLEVELAND — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz faced a livid — and yet admiring — Texas delegation on the final day of the Republican National Convention, only 12 hours after Donald Trump loyalists in the convention booed the junior senator off the stage.

In a standing room-only Texas GOP delegation breakfast Thursday morning, Cruz defended his refusal to endorse the GOP nominee Wednesday evening. [snip]

But many in the crowd were unsatisfied with his explanations for not endorsing Trump. Cruz mentioned Trump’s name just once in his remarks Wednesday — toward the beginning of his speech, when he congratulated the billionaire on winning the party’s nomination. When it became apparent that Cruz wasn’t going to endorse Trump — instead imploring the audience to “vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust” — the crowd became angry.

On Thursday morning, one woman emotionally asked Cruz why he would not honor a pledge he made early in the primary campaign, promising to support the eventual GOP nominee. [snip]

Cruz then signaled to a man in the back of the room.

“I will note, sir, you’re making crying signs in the back,” he said. “I will note, sir, that you might have a similar view if someone were attacking your wife. I hope you would.” [snip]

Afterwards, some Texas Republican delegates could be seen crying as they processed the emotional morning. Some weren’t sure if they would be able to vote for Cruz when he is up for re-election in 2018.

Maria Farias, vice chairwoman of the Bexar County GOP, said she did not buy Cruz’s reluctance to back Trump because he attacked the Cruz family.

“You have to be grown up about it,” said Farias, who supported Cruz in the 2012 Senate race and Marco Rubio in the 2016 presidential primary. “You can’t cry in baseball because you couldn’t hit a grand slam. It’s over.”

Lyin’ Ted Cruz with more lies to deceive the public and make them forget his is now and always will be “Lyin’ Ted Cruz”.

During Wednesday’s special edition of Real Time With Bill Maher, Michael Moore told Bill Maher he thinks that Donald Trump will win the election.

Maher first took the stage at his Los Angeles studio to offer his take on a raucous three days that has seen a rebellion on the convention floor, accusations of plagiarism and booing of prominent speakers.

Maher started things off a bit late (“Mike Pence wouldn’t shut the f— up”) to an enthusiastic response from his audience. Speakers at Wednesday’s “Make America First Again”-themed program at the Republican National Convention included Ted Cruz, Newt Gingrich and Trump’s running mate Mike Pence, who used his speech to accept the GOP’s vice-presidential nomination. [snip]

Moore drew gasps from the audience when he stated his belief that Trump would win the election. “I’m sorry to have to be the buzzkill here so early on, but I think Trump is going to win.”

Does sound like a carnival out there. Can’t help but believe that BLM were given orders nothing was going to happen because on top of the Muslim terrorists, they would scare enough people to hand the election to Hillary.

It will build up again, have no doubt.
    ____________________________________________________

I suspect Barry told D-Ray to chill for a while b/c it finally dawned on him that Americans don’t like riots and having their roads, sidewalks, restaurants shutdown by a bunch of wet behind the ears narcissists. You can understand his confusion, though. Race baiting brought him a long, long way.

  8. The beers are chillin’ and the popcorn’s ready to go. Can’t wait to get home and park myself in front of the tee-vee. I’ve waited a long time for this! 😃🇺🇸🇺🇸😃

  9. Lu4PUMA, it will be a horrible 6 months. We just have to endure it and sooner than it feels like now, it will be all over and Obama will no longer occupy the White House.

  10. maybe karma is going to kick in…and BLM and the rest of the protestors, anarchists and Bernie’s peeps are saving all the “fight” up for the Dims convention

would not surprise me…they have a better opportunity to challenge and overpower their apologists and make them serve their demands…

  11. Alcina we hate the modern style of convention stagecraft. It’s the same style of stagecraft used for most awards shows including the Academy Awards. It is a “pretty” style and “open” which is used to disguise the fact that the people on stage are different from the ones in the audience. It is very deceptive and we hate it.

We much more prefer the old style set with the stage very elevated and the speaker in front of a permanent podium which is a built in structure. This old style stagecraft gives stature to the speakers and brings seriousness to the proceedings.

Consider the Academy Awards. It used to be that the recipients of the awards were magnificent “stars” of the screen. The stagecraft declared that these are glamorous demigods worthy of worship and elevation up to the celestial realms which is where they belong.

The modern stagecraft for the Oscars is an “aw chucks” “isn’t we all equal” which is not only phony and a huge lie but it also debases the “stars” of the screen into tiny figures. That’s why the Oscars and awards shows get less and less audience every year. People will lie about what they want and will applaud this phony egalitarianism. The truth is what people want is “stars” of the screen to be stars in the mode of Norma Desmond.

The same is true with the modern stagecraft of political conventions. The lie is that the system is open and accessible. The fact is the stagecraft is a lie and that to prosper in the rigged political system today you have to be a whore to the system. Trump has broken this phony system so many it will change.

You are right that there are gradations of good within the style. And yes, compared to the old GOP conventions with the new “style” this Trump convention is much better. We had forgotten what a segmented mess that 2012 stage was.

  12. Admin

Thanks for the input, however, you’ll have to provide an example of the stagecraft you’re referring to so I understand what you’re trying to say. You know, I’m not that bright.

Anyway, I was trying to compare the 2016 stage vs the Rob and Laura Petrie 2012 version. I found that totally outdated and embarrassing.

This is what came to mind when you said “old-style set”. 🙂

  13. Alcina,

Looks like Golden globes, which I always liked more than oscars.
Must say, as their salaries got bigger, mega millions, I got tried of listening to them give themselves more awards.
    Where’s the working smuck award?7

  14. Tom Barrack.

This is great. A businessman talking about Trump. For not giving a “political” speech, it is fascinating. Great insight into high level finance and business. Fun anecdotes about Trump. Great story about “Louie”. If you’re not watching we’ll post video about “Louie”.

But the big news is that Tom Barrack is the Rebuild America Now SuperPac. This appearance by him is a clear signal to all that his SuperPac is the one for donors to give to.

  15. The speech transcript has been leaked by Big Media. We’ll post it immediately after the speech unless someone requests it before.

  16. I don’t understand this “leaking bs”.obviously they wanted to do this…

The elite will go light on Theil, he’s mega rich, gay, Silicon …just doesn’t understand…they are sure he will come around.

  17. Thiel…I was amazed when he said jets couldnt fly in the rain and we were still using floppy disc’s on nuclear subs. That’s really insane and really scary.

Here we are sending billions all over the place and if Waal breaks out we have to pray for sunshine.

    Endering smile…

  18. As we wrote long ago Trump will brutalize Obama and tie the Dim opponent to Obama. That is what Trump has done tonight. Trump has made a savage evaluation of Obama’s failures. Trump then ties Obama to the Dimocrat nominee.

As we also evaluated long ago, Trump has made himself the undisputed candidate of CHANGE. This is a change election.

  19. I have joined the political arena so that the powerful can no longer beat up on people that cannot defend themselves. Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it. I have seen firsthand how the system is rigged against our citizens, just like it was rigged against Bernie Sanders – he never had a chance.

  20. I’m worried about the electoral college…
Then we have Kasich, sitting Gov that wouldn’t show up in a state we really need, OHIO and the sitting Senator of OHIO. TEXAS…unfortunately Abbott had a burning accident and couldn’t come..let’s not talk Cruz…We have to have Florida…, its tight, we need New York.We are not going to get Wisconsin or Minnesota. ..too liberal, rust belt or not…

  21. This time, the terrorist targeted our LGBT community. As your President, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBT citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology.

  22. Trump follows his remarks on LGBTQ citizens by telling the audience in an aside ‘As a Republican I am so glad you responded as you did to what I just said.’

It’s a New Republican Party being born tonight.

  23. Trump is kicking ass, TelePrompTer or not:

This includes working with our greatest ally in the region, the State of Israel. Lastly, we must immediately suspend immigration from any nation that has been compromised by terrorism until such time as proven vetting mechanisms have been put in place.

My opponent has called for a radical 550% increase in Syrian refugees on top of existing massive refugee flows coming into our country under President Obama. She proposes this despite the fact that there’s no way to screen these refugees in order to find out who they are or where they come from. I only want to admit individuals into our country who will support our values and love our people.

Anyone who endorses violence, hatred or oppression is not welcome in our country and never will be.

Trump is adlibing quite a bit. The NATO references are not in the text of the speech. Ad-lib.

  24. These wounded American families have been alone. But they are alone no longer. Tonight, this candidate and this whole nation stand in their corner to support them, to send them our love, and to pledge in their honor that we will save countless more families from suffering the same awful fate.

We are going to build a great border wall to stop illegal immigration, to stop the gangs and the violence, and to stop the drugs from pouring into our communities.

  25. We are going to enforce all trade violations, including through the use of taxes and tariffs, against any country that cheats.

This includes stopping China’s outrageous theft of intellectual property, along with their illegal product dumping, and their devastating currency manipulation. Our horrible trade agreements with China and many others, will be totally renegotiated. That includes renegotiating NAFTA to get a much better deal for America – and we’ll walk away if we don’t get the deal that we want. We are going to start building and making things again.

  26. My opponent, on the other hand, wants to put the great miners and steel workers of our country out of work – that will never happen when I am President. With these new economic policies, trillions of dollars will start flowing into our country.

Trump adlibbed here too to add emphasis to protection of miners and steel workers.

  27. We can accomplish these great things, and so much else – all we need to do is start believing in ourselves and in our country again. It is time to show the whole world that America Is Back – bigger, and better and stronger than ever before.

  28. This is great:

But now, my sole and exclusive mission is to go to work for our country – to go to work for all of you. It’s time to deliver a victory for the American people. But to do that, we must break free from the petty politics of the past.

America is a nation of believers, dreamers, and strivers that is being led by a group of censors, critics, and cynics.

Remember: all of the people telling you that you can’t have the country you want, are the same people telling you that I wouldn’t be standing here tonight. No longer can we rely on those elites in media, and politics, who will say anything to keep a rigged system in place.

  29. My pledge reads: “I’M WITH YOU – THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.”

    I am your voice.

So to every parent who dreams for their child, and every child who dreams for their future, I say these words to you tonight: I’m With You, and I will fight for you, and I will win for you.

To all Americans tonight, in all our cities and towns, I make this promise: We Will Make America Strong Again.

We Will Make America Proud Again.

We Will Make America Safe Again.

And We Will Make America Great Again.

  30. I love the red, white, and blue balloons and confetti coming down. And the fireworks on the screen behind them, and outside above the city.

lol I just realized the Donald Trump Jr is only 8 years younger than Melania lol

  31. gonzo – he’ll make sure people get what they need – safety, Americanism, job availability, and the opportunity to improve their lives…

  32. By the way Admin,

Wanted to tell you, Laura Ingraham always starts her radio show screaming, Power to the People

  33. Dr. Lisa Shin, National Diversity Coalition for Trump

Dr. Shin is Korean. I found it refreshing that the head of this “diversity coalition” is Asian. All people talk about anymore is white, black, and hispanic, and hispanic isn’t even a race or ethnicity. Asians just get disappeared. So I was really happy to see that.

  34. This is a hit piece on Trump. It’s basically saying that he’s old school, wants his wife to (my words) be his mommy and his maid, and not to work outside the home, but wants his daughter to be able to excel in the workplace.

Yeah, because in the rest of the country, in most intact families, both partners work, but all the research shows that women are still doing the preponderance of the housework and child rearing. Because that’s so much better and easier for the woman lol

Women should have the right to make a choice. It seems to me that Melania and Trump want the same things. She has had a career, she has a degree in architecture, and right now she wants to devote herself to raising her child (I doubt she has to do the housework, though). And Trump apparently wants such a wife. If it’s what they both want, what’s the problem? Sounds like a good match.

Thiel: Fake Culture Wars Only Distract Us From Our Economic Decline

Paypal founder and Silicon Valley entrepreneur Peter Thiel spoke on the fourth night of the 2016 Republican National Convention.

I am proud to be gay. I am proud to be a Republican. But most of all I am proud to be an American,” he said.

The crowd erupted with a standing ovation that turned into a short chant of “USA! USA! USA!”

“I don’t pretend to agree with every plank in our party’s platform. But fake culture wars only distract us from our economic decline,” he said. “When I was a kid, the great debate was about how to defeat the Soviet Union. And we won. Now we are told that the great debate is about who gets to use which bathroom. This is a distraction from our real problems. Who cares?

“Instead of going to Mars, we invaded the Middle East,” he said. “Donald Trump is right. It’s time to end the era of stupid wars and rebuild our country.”

    Good evening. I’m Peter Thiel.

I build companies and I support people who are building new things, from social networks to rocket ships.

    I’m not a politician.

    But neither is Donald Trump.

He is a builder, and it’s time to rebuild America.

Where I work in Silicon Valley, it’s hard to see where America has gone wrong.

My industry has made a lot of progress in computers and in software, and, of course, it’s made a lot of money.

But Silicon Valley is a small place.

Drive out to Sacramento, or even across the bridge to Oakland, and you won’t see the same prosperity. That’s just how small it is.

Across the country, wages are flat.

Americans get paid less today than 10 years ago. But healthcare and college tuition cost more every year. Meanwhile Wall Street bankers inflate bubbles in everything from government bonds to Hillary Clinton’s speaking fees.

Our economy is broken. If you’re watching me right now, you understand this better than any politician in Washington. And you know this isn’t the dream we looked forward to. Back when my parents came to America looking for that dream, they found it—right here in Cleveland.

They brought me here as a one-year-old, and this is where I became an American.

    Opportunity was everywhere.

My Dad studied engineering at Case Western Reserve University, just down the road from where we are now. Because in 1968, the world’s high tech capital wasn’t just one city: all of America was high tech.

It’s hard to remember this, but our government was once high tech, too. When I moved to Cleveland, defense research was laying the foundations for the Internet. The Apollo program was just about to put a man on the moon—and it was Neil Armstrong, from right here in Ohio.

    The future felt limitless.

But today our government is broken. Our nuclear bases still use floppy disks. Our newest fighter jets can’t even fly in the rain. And it would be kind to say the government’s software works poorly, because much of the time it doesn’t even work at all.

That is a staggering decline for the country that completed the Manhattan Project. We don’t accept such incompetence in Silicon Valley, and we must not accept it from our government.

Instead of going to Mars, we have invaded the Middle East. We don’t need to see Hillary Clinton’s deleted emails: her incompetence is in plain sight. She pushed for a war in Libya, and today it’s a training ground for ISIS. On this most important issue, Donald Trump is right. It’s time to end the era of stupid wars and rebuild our country.

When I was a kid, the great debate was about how to defeat the Soviet Union. And we won. Now we are told that the great debate is about who gets to use which bathroom.

This is a distraction from our real problems. Who cares?

Of course, every American has a unique identity.

I am proud to be gay.

I am proud to be a Republican.

But most of all I am proud to be an American.

I don’t pretend to agree with every plank in our party’s platform. But fake culture wars only distract us from our economic decline.

And nobody in this race is being honest about it except Donald Trump.

While it is fitting to talk about who we are, today it’s even more important to remember where we came from. For me that is Cleveland, and the bright future it promised.

When Donald Trump asks us to Make America Great Again, he’s not suggesting a return to the past. He’s running to lead us back to that bright future.

Tonight I urge all of my fellow Americans to stand up and vote for Donald Trump.

  36. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/07/21/cruz_delegate_he_lied_to_me_i_came_as_a_cruz_delegate_and_im_leaving_as_a_trump_supporter.html

Cruz Delegate: He “Lied To Me”; I Came As A Cruz Delegate And I’m Leaving As A Trump Supporter

Geraldine Sam, former Mayor of La Marque, TX, told CNN she came to the convention as a Cruz delegate but is leaving as a Trump supporter after Sen. Ted Cruz’s address at the RNC Wednesday night. Sam was interviewed by CNN following a contentious meeting between the Texas delegation and Cruz where the former candidate for president doubled down the rhetoric expressed in his speech.

“If you cannot be a person, a word of your bond, then guess what, if I can’t trust you to say and do what you’re going to say, then how are you going to expect me to trust you to say any other things?” Sam asked.

“If you lied to me, then that’s telling me you lied to me,” Sam said of Cruz. “You lied to me. You lied and said you were going to support the party nominee and you won’t. Then you lied to me. And I’m very upset at this time. When you walked on, I turned my back. Why? Because you lied to me. And don’t take my vote for granted because you lied to me.”

“I came to this convention as a Cruz delegate and I’m leaving supporting Donald Trump as the party nominee,” she concluded.

  37. Meanwhile Wall Street bankers inflate bubbles in everything from government bonds to Hillary Clinton’s speaking fees.

ooooh that’s a good one, he nailed her lol

  38. Did anyone notice the uncanny resemblance of his young son Barron to the young Donald
Barron’s face is a dead ringer for when Donald was younger
Striking. He is a minature version of his father…like a clone was reproduced by senior Donald for the future

  39. The funniest thing is watching CNN fall all over itself over its poll
The numbers came in very positive for Donald
56% more likely to vote for him etc
CNN spending a lot of time trying to make excuses to discredit their own poll

Jones ( forgot his first name) completely freaking almost to the point of crying – he says he has never been so scared of such an authoritative figure
    Such a drama queen

  40. S – I did, too. But Donald has a bit of a pinched nose, and I think Barron’s (IMO anyway) looks nicer. I think Tiffany got the pinched nose from her dad, though. I think Barron and Ivanka may have gotten the best looks. I like Eric, but I can’t help it, whenever I see his face, it reminds me of a mole – not in a bad way, but – he just looks similar to a mole somehow to me lol

  41. I’ve gone to a Hillary website here and there and in the last couple of months, these PUMAs who couldn’t stand Obama or his wife, now defend them and seem to like them. Then I realized, since Hillary has said she wants to be his third term on steroids, I guess it would be too glaringly obvious how strange it is for them to like her, Obama III, but not like him, her BFF. So I guess in a way they had to embrace him, since Hillary has.

Now I’m thinking for them it was always just about Hillary and the party, and not about principles or the country after all.

    Kaine praises TPP…Yuck

All of Obama’s TPP’s are lying dead in the road. Brexit “roadkilled” it and now everyone is doing their own much better deals and kicking out the middlemen or progressive vampires which of course is where they get their cuts. Kaine is sending out smoke-signals that Hill will do another one to her globalists without it being tied directly to her in the election.

Theil is a German immigrant. Smart, educated immigrants do not to the US to be progressive fascists unless they are academics. They usually want to leave that kind of stuff behind them. Why the Bernie-bots et al cannot see this is more evidence of their clueless thinking. They should move there, the EU, except the EU won’t take them (net drain, wrong ethnicity, etc).

It is the failed, narco-government of Mexico and the organized crime syndicates protected and enabled by the elites running the Mexican government who profit from it. When state and local Mexican officials SON’S get wounded in drug deals gone bad while sitting in their 90 thousand dollar Range Rover you know the narco-state has permeated every single level of the Mexican society. They cannot be allowed to run back and forth over the border.

Jones ( forgot his first name) completely freaking almost to the point of crying – he says he has never been so scared of such an authoritative figure
    Such a drama queen

I did not see it, but it must have been Van Jones.

The professional progressives are having a come to Jesus moment and fighting back tears often precipitates it. The Republicans did what the progs considered improbable and impossible. They are REALLY running Trump against Obama Act III. Trump even managed to have two villains at his convention namely Obama III (Trump is now running against Obama) as expected AND Cruz who managed to fill the Wile E Coyote (Super Genius) slot in a supporting comedic villain role. I think it was Scott Adams who said it would play out like an American movie. We are on the edge of our seats!

I agree, but you have to admit that was never a secret. The difference (for me) was that in 2008, I believed in and supported Hillary Clinton’s platform. Now, her platform has done a 180, promising to continue and expand upon Obama’s policies, which she ran AGAINST in 2008. In effect, she is running against her (former) self, and that is what troubles me most. That, and all the time and energy I spend defending her in 08 against those that said she would “say or do anything to get a vote”. Sadly, it seems to be true.

My lesson: Sacred cows are good for one thing, and one thing only: hamburger

  51. Just re-watched the complete Trump speech. Unbelievable. With this man as president, we just may be able to salvage and restore the greatness of our country.

  52. Exactly!!
We have a choice, To vote for a proven, life long record as a real fixer upper, A real builder of big things, Who employs thousands of people.
Or we have Obama’s third term.
Oh my!! this will take some tall pondering. 😀

Donald Trump Remarks in Cleveland, Ohio Donald Trump delivered remarks to supporters in Cleveland, Ohio. He criticized Senator Cruz’s (R-TX) speech and said he would not accept his endorsement if he offers one. He was introduced by his running mate, Governor Mike Pence (R-IN).

Around 15:32 of this video, Trump tells how Cruz verbally added an initial sentence or two to the speech AFTER it received Trump staff approval: http://www.c-span.org/video/?413063-1/donald-trump-says-wont-accept-endorsement-senator-cruz

  54. gee.. Obama just happens to have a joint presser with the President of Mexico the same day of Hillary’s VP announcement.

Now, you don’t think good friend Obama would try and undercut Hillary, do you?

  55. Obama’s Dimocrats in the media think we live in a happy happy joy joy hunky dory world where terrorism is just the work of a few madmen.

  56. I know this is probably obvious to mostly everyone and/or should be…but just got to say it out loud…

the other really big phony in all of this is Mr. Happy Face…Mr. Positive…Mr. Get Along with Everyone Guy…Mr. Just Want to Talk about Positive Solutions Guy…

Mr. John Kaisch, the Republican Governor of Ohio…the host state for the Republican Convention…did not even have the descency to meet and greet all the hard working party faithful and republican delegates that came to his state…

…putting aside his pledge to endorse the nominee of his party…John Kasish was not positive but extremely negative…the man showed his true colors…and he is a freaking phony…a poser…he wants to be considered the “good guy”…”the adult in the room” and yet…he could not even show basic, down to earth manners and welcome his own party to his state…

what a waste of time and a small, dishonorable man…with terrible manners he is…

  57. So what does everyone think of Fox exploding?
Really, I don’t think this is good for Trump.

    This could be a disaster.

  58. Kaisch…I really thought he would show up on Day one, but what an ass…We will be seeing him in the future on CNN, MSNBC…commentator.

But they love him in Ohio, so that could prove lethal to Trump. He has to get Ohio.

  59. What Kasich did is unforgivable. His own State, His own party. He is as big a phoney as Romney, Bush combined.

    You’ve got that right!

Obama is splainin’ himself on Fox/tv accompanied by the president of Mexico for backup. Actually, a humbled rebuttal to Trump’s speech last night regarding trade with Mexico.

Can’t take it anymore- Off to the beach, will listen to proprietary seagull chatter. At least they are honest about what THEY are about.

  61. Outris,

Trump was on Hannity a lot and other shows. If every media outlet is anti Trump, till November, can’t be good. Have to peel away the indies and some minorities to win. Tough job.

  62. DIARY OF A MAD VOTER
It’s Peter Thiel’s Republican Party Now… Or Should Be
BY ROGER L SIMON JULY 21, 2016 CHAT 254 COMMENTS

Donald Trump and daughter Ivanka may have brought down the house, but the most intriguing, original, and ultimately most optimistic speech at the Republican National Convention Thursday was given by Peter Thiel.

Like Trump, Thiel is no politician. He’s a brilliant, controversial yet wildly successful high-tech entrepreneur from the Silicon Valley (co-founder of PayPal and early investor in Facebook), a libertarian, a best-selling author, a Cleveland native and, for some time, a fully out gay.

That last alone would seem to be a game changer in Republican politics, especially since Trump gave Thiel a coveted spot only two away from him and Ivanka on the final night of the convention, a clearly not accidental gesture on Donald’s part.

The audience responded. Thiel got a standing ovation and the conventional liberal “narrative” about the GOP took a serious body blow in front of a good portion of the country. Dan Rather, who has been seen wandering around the convention, may have been bewildered.

But, in truth, it wasn’t all that surprising. For some time now there has been a small but growing stream in the Republican Party that is considerably more modern than anything on the Democratic side, where the likes of Bernie Sanders dominate with a worldview out of 1932.

Phil Robertson: Bush, Kasich, Cruz ‘Need to Learn How to Forgive and Love’ Trump
The fact is that liberals and progressives are the true fuddy-duddies of our time, more conservative than conservatives. These days they offer not one original thought, unless you count nostalgia for 1968 or yet one more iteration of LBJ’s moribund War on Poverty.

Liberals these days distract from their failures on crucial issues like the economy and foreign policy by resorting to what Thiel wryly called the “Fake Culture Wars”

When I was a kid, the great debate was about how to defeat the Soviet Union. And we won. Now we are told that the great debate is about who gets to use which bathroom.
This is a distraction from our real problems. Who cares?

The entrepreneur’s concerns were more tangible. While acknowledging the success of his Silicon Valley colleagues, he saw the rest of the country as in serious decline, when it shouldn’t be.

It’s not just the government. It’s everywhere. And libertarian entrepreneurs like Thiel are a great part of the solution. They are the torch-bearers of a new American exceptionalism, the ones who are pushing our country into the future. You can only make America great again by making it new again… and again… again.

That both Trump and Thiel want to reclaim America’s greatness is undoubtedly why Thiel is attracted to Trump, who remains a controversial figure in the Silicon Valley because of differences over immigration. (I suspect, as with the Brexit, there are more hidden Trump supporters there than meet the eye.) Thiel concluded his speech:

I don’t pretend to agree with every plank in our party’s platform. But fake culture wars only distract us from our economic decline.
And nobody in this race is being honest about it except Donald Trump.

While it is fitting to talk about who we are, today it’s even more important to remember where we came from. For me that is Cleveland, and the bright future it promised.

When Donald Trump asks us to Make America Great Again, he’s not suggesting a return to the past. He’s running to lead us back to that bright future.

So is it Peter Thiel’s Republican Party now? Of course, not. Right now, indubitably, it’s Donald Trump’s. But I think Donald would agree, there’s more than enough room for a mind like Thiel’s.

Yes I see your point. But other than a couple of shows Fox also tried to destroy him. Have faith.

  64. Thiel was imptessive. He also had an endearing easy about himself.

If Trump wins, he could tap this genius to help lead us back to our future.

Grinning Obama JOKES during Munich carnage press conference as he shifts gears to talk about daughter Malia leaving the nest for college

President Obama briefed reporters Friday afternoon on the unfolding mass-murder in Munich, Germany
He noted how terrorism undermines people’s freedoms and lifestyles in the absence of good law enforcement
Then Obama wisecracked about daughter Malia leaving the nest for college, drawing laughter from the entire room
Unfazed, he shifted gears back to the somber subject matter
Obama had held a joint press conference with Mexico’s president, one hour before the Munich carnage began, criticizing Donald Trump for exaggerating terrorism threats

  66. This is the anniversary of that nut job in Norway that killed 77, 5 years ago. Mostly Teens.

Do you know he only got 21 years for that? Of course the State can say he’ not ready, 21 years. I would be bat shit crazy if he had killed my child.Let him out, I would find him…
I say this, because they say the shooters were aiming at children.
There are mixed reports if immigrant or not. One shouted he was German, But a Muslim woman said she heard a shooter yell Allah Akbar…Then there’s that.

  67. Obama is pledging all our support, hope it’s not our floppy disks delivered in the rain by our fighter jets.

  68. Well most of Fox on panel making left turn on Baier..talking about Republican Convention being Dark..the key word, and how Hillary will be reintroducing herself, as if we didnt know her, and have a positive note.

Even Wbb’s favorite, Ms Powers. ..

    I’m sorry, just vomited…

  69. Trump did go off on Cruz today, which was off message, and not necessary, about Cruz’s father having something to do with Kennedy’ s murder.

Ivanka, can you PLEASE talk to this man again. He had a great speech, but crazy cap like this makes him look unhinged.

  70. I wrote Trump to get off the crazy wagon….
I understand his anger, but let’s grow up.
Pence was in the background, looked like deer in the headlights..

    Mrs Smith,

You did move to Texas right, so you must be on the coast?

    ……………………..

Angela Merkel better gird her loins.!!!

    Stupid, stubborn, lady!!

    ………………..

Yes, Gonzo. We are on the coast of beautiful Orange Beach in Ala. We were planning to go to Padre Is but recent news reports of people wading/swimming in and around Galveston were contracting flesh eating bacteria through minor cuts entering their limbs had us changing our destination. We had no idea Ala has so much to offer and
such a short distance way. Stayed in NOLA near Bourban St., before trekking the rest of the way to Ala.
    That was cool! great seafood!
