“Ins” V. “Outs: Trump Hits A Homer; Preet Bharara Hits A Vein; George Will Hits A Bong; Hillary2016 Takes A Hit Of LSD

Homer Simpson and home run – Donald J. Trump hit a homer. The Homer in question? George Will. It turns out George Will won’t. The home run? We’ll explain below. As to this Preet Bharara – Preet has the easiest and toughest job in America today. We’ll explain below.

Let’s tweet about Preet first. Preet Bharara has the easiest and toughest job in America today. Preet Bharara is on a government corruption hunt. To find corruption in government is the easiest thing to do. But to fight, beat, then kill, government corruption is a tough job only the toughest dare tackle. Preet Bharara imprisoned the top Republican in New York State and the second most powerful Democrat in New York State. Preet Bharara is still on the hunt. Preet Bharara is set to imprison the two most powerful Democrats in New York State:

Manhattan US Attorney Preet Bharara used the bright spotlight of national TV to put Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo on notice Sunday that he expects to uncover proof of official wrongdoing in both of their administrations.

“We have found that corruption is rife in a lot of institutions in New York and throughout New York,” Bharara said on ABC’s “This Week.”

“That’s true in the Legislature,” he said. “It’s also the case that there’s corruption, we believe, in the executive branches as well. And we’ll ferret it out wherever we find it.”

It was Bharara’s strongest warning yet to the leaders of the city and state and came amid his probes into fund-raising efforts by de Blasio and suspected bid-rigging in a slew of state-funded development projects, including Cuomo’s Buffalo Billion initiative.

And it followed an interview in which Bharara bristled at the idea that Cuomo had been cleared of wrongdoing when Bharara declined to charge him for shutting down the anti-corruption Moreland Commission panel in 2014.

Nobody gave a clean bill of health to anybody. A non-indictment is not an endorsement of anyone’s conduct,” Bharara told the New Yorker last month in what the magazine described as “an uncharacteristically icy tone.”

If Preet Bharara was a gold miner we would say Bharara has hit a thick vein. As a corruption miner Preet Bharara hit the mother lode.

Corruption in American government is as easy to find as sea shells by the sea shore. If we had honest prosecutors, the penitentiaries would be full of government officials. When a courageous prosecutor such as Preet Bharara sprouts out of the system, he must be cheered. Preet Bharara is a hero:

After subpoenaing records of the Moreland probe, Bharara used the information to help build cases against corrupt state pols, most notably ex-Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and ex-Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos.

Silver reports to prison on Aug. 31 to serve a 12-year sentence. Skelos, who got five years behind bars, is seeking bail pending appeal.

History has shown that Bharara makes good on his predictions, with the charges against Skelos coming after he famously told New Yorkers to “stay tuned” following Silver’s arrest in January 2015.

We are constantly told that the Hillary2016 strategy is very smart and that we are wrong when we say Hillary Clinton should avoid these establishment plagues. Wanna make that argument to us again? Here’s a little bit more of Preet Bharara echoes of Trump:

This election year has exposed widespread voter anger directed at Wall Street, and U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara agrees that “to an extent, people are right about the system being rigged.”

“I think people have a right…given the track record of this office and other offices of exposing fraud, to be worried about that,” Bharara told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.

That track record of rooting out fraud has earned Bharara the nickname “Sheriff of Wall Street,” but he has also set his sights on the corruption plaguing New York’s state capital. Since taking office, he’s prosecuted cases against more than a dozen state officeholders. [snip]

Preet Bharara’s office was once held by FBI Director James Comey, who is currently looking into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state. When asked how a prosecutor determines whether to bring a case against a public official in a political year, Bharara said every case needs to be held to the same high standard of objectivity.

“We should not ever be substituting our judgment — as to who should or should not be in office — unless they have clearly violated criminal statutes and are deserving of criminal prosecution,” he said.

Several people who have held Bharara’s office have gone on to hold higher office, including Comey and Rudy Giuliani.

The confluence of corruption miners in high office should worry Hillary2016. Hillary Clinton has enough problems with FBI Director James Comey to be courting corruption kings such as Cuomo and De Blasio. We warned against a Hillary2016 alliance with corrupt officials and left wing Kooks such as De Blasio and Cuomo back when it mattered.

For a long time we warned, with hair on fire alarums, that this was to be a CHANGE election. To that end we wrote repeatedly that the candidate of change will be the winner in November 2016. So what does Hillary2016 do? Hillary2016 embraces the establishment creeps:

Hank Paulson, George W. Bush’s treasury secretary, who presided over both the meltdown of the U.S. economy and the subsequent bailout of his close friends and associates, has endorsed Hillary Clinton — citing his belief that she’d be more likely to enact globalist policies on trade and immigration as part of the reason for his endorsement.

Paulson also posits that Clinton would be more likely to cut Americans’ medicare and social security, which Paulson cites as a top priority following the financial collapse he helped to create.

Paulson is also the former CEO of Goldman Sachs, which has given Hillary Clinton hundreds of thousands of dollars for speeches. According to Politico, Goldman Sachs rewarded Clinton with a total of $675,000 for three paid speeches.

“When Hillary Clinton spoke to Goldman Sachs executives and technology titans at a summit in Arizona in October of 2013, she spoke glowingly of the work the bank was doing raising capital and helping create jobs, according to people who saw her remarks,” Politico writes. “She spent no time criticizing Goldman or Wall Street more broadly for its role in the 2008 financial crisis.”

“It was pretty glowing about us,” one attendee told Politico, “She sounded more like a Goldman Sachs managing director.”

Hank Paulson endorses Hillary Clinton” is not a development anyone who wants President Hillary should be happy about. In the op-ed Paulson wrote he trashes Donald Trump with the same vigor and likely the same effectiveness as the “ins” attacked the “outs” in the epic Brexit election.

If Hank Paulson was alone in his kiss of death endorsement we could delude ourselves that this embrace is not part of a Hillary2016 strategy to label Trump as “nuts” and Hillary the “safe choice”. But Paulson is not alone. It is clear that Hillary2016 in the massive ad buys and the weird alliances (Paulson and Elizabeth Warren?) with the worst of the establishment of both parties thinks the key to victory is to bring on board every disease, every pox, every corruption, they can find to attack Trump.

No establishment creep left uncourted:

(CNN)Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, received an endorsement Wednesday from a heavyweight foreign policy adviser to Republican presidents.

Brent Scowcroft, who served as National Security Adviser to Presidents George H. W. Bush and Gerald Ford, and who worked in the White House of Presidents Richard Nixon and George W. Bush, said Clinton “brings truly unique experience and perspective to the White House.”

His endorsement was released hours after the Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump launched a broad attack on Clinton’s experience, honesty and foreign policy experience in a 40-minute speech. [snip]

His backing follows that of another prominent Republican in national security circles. Richard Armitage, who served in the State and Defense Departments under George W. Bush and President Ronald Reagan, announced last week that he will vote for Clinton over Trump. [snip]

In a recent Atlantic magazine article outlining Obama’s foreign policy views, the President mentioned Scowcroft, saying, “I love that guy.

The world is in a populist revolt circa 1789 and the response from Hillary2016 post Brexit is to continue to embrace the establishment!!! Wild!!!

Hank Paulson, Richard Armitage, and Brent Scowcroft’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton is a sort of in-kind contribution to Trump2016. Then the gift came that George Will won’t. Won’t endorse Trump. George Will made his contribution and Donald J. Trump hit the jackpot, a full house, a game winning homer.

You are known by your friends as well as your enemies. Donald J. Trump is making the stink hole called the Republican Party smell a lot better. The party of Martin Luther King Jr., the party founded by Abraham Lincoln is returning to its roots.

Many of the most detestable Republicans are leaving the GOP – making room for all those working class former Democrats. The more the GOP barn is cleared of horsesh*t like George Will, Scowcroft, Armitage, Paulson, Jeb/George Bush, and the more establishment GOP types like McConnell and Paul Ryan see their future cut short by Donald J. Trump, the more decent Americans will give the Republican Party a chance.

Trump’s presidential aspirations hit a homer with the news these swine are leaving and Trump didn’t even have to pick up the bat to knock the losers out – they hit themselves over the head.

  1. Donald Trump posted this Obama ad on Facebook:

Smart. Reminds everyone of the Clinton v. Obama battle and uses Obama to echo Trump’s attacks.

  2. What Britain avoided:

EUROPEAN political chiefs are to take advantage of Brexit by unveiling their long-held plan to morph the continent’s countries into one GIANT SUPERSTATE, it has emerged today.

The foreign ministers of France and Germany are due to reveal a blueprint to effectively do away with individual member states in what is being described as an “ultimatum”.

Under the radical proposals EU countries will lose the right to have their own army, criminal law, taxation system or central bank, with all those powers being transferred to Brussels.

Controversially member states would also lose what few controls they have left over their own borders, including the procedure for admitting and relocating refugees.

The plot has sparked fury and panic in Poland – a traditional ally of Britain in the fight against federalism – after being leaked to Polish news channel TVP Info.

The public broadcaster reports that the bombshell proposal will be presented to a meeting of the Visegrad group of countries – made up of Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia – by German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier later today.

Excerpts of the nine-page report were published today as the leaders of Germany, France and Italy met in Berlin for Brexit crisis talks.

In the preamble to the text the two ministers write: “Our countries share a common destiny and a common set of values ??that give rise to an even closer union between our citizens. We will therefore strive for a political union in Europe and invite the next Europeans to participate in this venture.”

The revelations come just days after Britain shook the Brussels establishment by voting to leave the European Union in a move some have predicted could leave to the break-up of the EU.

A number of member states are deeply unhappy about the creeping federalism of the European project with anti-EU sentiments running high in eastern Europe, Scandinavia and France.

And as plentiful as diamonds on a South African beach. In both cases, until now at least, overlords like the deBeers family and the uniparty withheld the evidence in order to create artificial scarcity. On the other hand that artificial scarcity is part of the provenance in the case of diamonds that buyers are buying when they buy a diamond, but there is no market for withholding evidence of political corruption except among insiders meaning big media who has dossiers on everybody, which they bring out of mothballs when they want to force a politician to set aside principle and do what they want. It also forms the basis for oppo research, but again it would not be valuable if everyone knew it. So keeping it hidden raises the price. But at the same time, it prevents voters from making an informed choice.

  4. Admin: this is a very good podcast by Morris. It posits that the Brexit vote harbingers a Trump victory in November, and what he needs to do to ensure it. In addition, this reaction against the elites which is sweeping the globe gives the Republican Party the opportunity to cast of their flotsam and jetsom, and become the party of main street. The other thing that is important that Trump must emphasize to blacks is that the Republican Party sans the elites is the party of Lincoln, but even more salient, the party of their hero Dr. King.

  5. Imho…hillary and warren look ridiculous together
Whose idea was the matchy matchy outfits…going for the ‘twins’ look…
Sorry but warren reminds me of a walking bobblehead

I cannot imagine hillary choosing her as VP for a number of reasons…not to mention the two of them are two too many

  6. The End Game Of Bubble Finance——Political Revolt
    by David Stockman • June 27, 2016

Tweet about this on TwitterShare on FacebookShare on LinkedInPrint this pageEmail this to someone
During Friday’s bloodbath I heard a CNBC anchor lady assuring her (scant) remaining audience that Brexit wasn’t a big sweat. That’s because it is purportedly a political crisis, not a financial one.

Presumably in the rarified canyons of Wall Street, politics doesn’t matter much. After all, when things get desperate enough, Washington caves and does “whatever it takes” to get the stock averages moving upward again.

Here’s a news flash. That’s all about to change.

The era of Bubble Finance was enabled by a political abdication nearly 50 years ago. But as Donald Trump rightly observed in the wake of Brexit, the voters are about to take back their governments, meaning that the financial elites of the world are in for a rude awakening.

To be sure, the apparent lesson of the first TARP vote when the bailout was rejected by the House in September 2008 was that politics didn’t matter so much.

Wall Street’s 800 point hissy fit was all it took to prostrate the politicians. Indeed, the presumptive free market party then domiciled in the White House quickly shed its Adam Smith ties and forced the congressional rubes from the red states to walk the plank a second time in order to reverse the decision.

There was a crucial predicate for this classic crony capitalist capture of the authority and purse of the state, however, that should not be overlooked. Namely, that in the mid-cycle period of the world’s 20-year experiment in central bank driven Bubble Finance the rubes had not yet come to fully appreciate that they were getting the short end of the stick.

Indeed, the earlier phases of the bubble era witnessed an enormous inflation of residential housing prices. For instance, between Greenspan’s arrival at the Fed in August 1987 and the housing bubble peak in 2007, the value of residential housing rise from $5.5 trillion to $22.5 trillion or by 4X.

The greatest extend of the housing bubble occurred in the bicoastal precincts, of course. But it did lift handsomely the value of 50 million owner occupied homes in the flyover zone, as well.

Accordingly, the latter did not yet see that the new regime was stacked in favor of the top 10% of the economic and wealth ladder, which owns 85% of the non-housing financial assets. Nor was it yet evident as to the degree to which massive money printing under conditions of Peak Debt almost exclusively stimulates Wall Street speculation, not main street production, jobs, incomes and spending.

In any event, by the eve of the great financial crisis, the GOP was actually controlled by the racketeers of the Beltway and the Wall Street gamblers, not the red state voters who had elected it.

In fact, Goldman’s Sach’s plenipotentiary to Washington, Hank Paulson, was in complete command of the elected side of government. At the same time, the Bush White House had populated the central banking branch of the state with proponents of monetary activism, who were more than ready to authorize “heroic” measures to reflate the bubble.

Needless to say, the leader of the pack, Ben Bernanke, had been groomed for the roll of chief bailster by none other than Milton Freidman. The latter, in turn, had led Nixon astray at Camp David 37 year earlier when he persuaded Tricky Dick to default on the dollar’s link to gold, thereby opening the door to fiat money, massive credit expansion and the modern era of Bubble Finance.

There is a straight line of linkage from that great historical inflection point to Friday’s Brexit uprising. Namely, Nixon’s abandonment of the Bretton Woods gold exchange standard, as deficient as it had been, was also a profoundly political act.

It resulted in the abdication of economic and financial policy to an unelected elite and their eventual capture by Wall Street and the forces of speculation and financialization unleashed by unanchored central bank money and credit.

Nixon’s destruction of Bretton Woods was the enabling event that turned central banks and financial officialdom loose to operate an unelected dictatorship of bailouts, bubbles and financialization of economic life. And to spread this baleful regime to Europe, Japan and the rest of the world, too.

To be sure, it took more than two decades to fully materialize. There were deeply embedded institutional cultures and ideologies among policy-makers that restrained opened-ended resort to the printing press and financial bailouts.

The Paul Volcker interlude in the US and the determined sound money regime of the Bundesbank are cases in point.

But eventually the old regime gave way. There emerged Greenspan’s dotcom and housing bubbles, the rise of the ECB and the financial rulers of Brussels, the massive bailouts triggered by the global crisis of 2008-2009, the hideous expansion of central bank balance sheets during the era of QE and ZIRP, the emergence of the destructive “whatever it takes” regime of Draghi and the current financial lunacy of subzero interest rates across much of the planet.

But here’s the thing. The rubes are on to the rig.

Twenty-years of Bubble Finance have made the City Of London an oasis of splendor and prosperity, for example, but it has left the hinterlands of Britain hollowed-out industrially, resentful of the unearned prosperity of the elites and fearful of the open-ended flow if immigrants and imports enabled by the superstate in Brussels. As on observer put it, the geography of the vote said it all:

Look at the map of those results, and that huge island of “in” voting in London and the south-east; or those jaw-dropping vote-shares for remain in the centre of the capital: 69% in Tory Kensington and Chelsea; 75% in Camden; 78% in Hackney, contrasted with comparable shares for leave in such places as Great Yarmouth (71%), Castle Point in Essex (73%), and Redcar and Cleveland (66%). Here is a country so imbalanced it has effectively fallen over.

The rise of Trumpism in the US reflects the same social and economic fracture.

    (to be continued)

  7. The Stockman article documenting the hollowing out of the middle class in favor of a fabulously wealth elite class who deserve guillotine because Louis XVI had nothing on them and they could repeat his last words when coming face to face with the devils’s tooth— golly gee, its fun to be king . . . until it isn’t. Well, this last thirty years hasn’t been much fun for the middle class with stagnant wages and rising prices. What will they do when Obamacare increases hit, and Hillary enacts drastic cuts to social security and medicare to please her paymasters. Perhaps you can see now why I am not entirely out of line in suggesting a net worth tax on the wealthy. For too long, class warfare has been operating top down, and now equity delights to do justice and that not by halves. Loot the motherfuckers who have been looting us. What is really telling however is to watch them squirm when their jobs are on the firing line. It was no problem for them when they outsourced entire industries. They told us we needed to keep a stiff upper lip and recognize the economic forces in play. Well . . okay . . but where is that stiff upper lip with them, amidst all this wining, recriminations and false assertions of remorse. If anyone deserves to be remorseful at this point it needs to be them. And they need to pay up.

  8. The MSM is still hammering Trump with negative press, like the dumb dying beast they have obviously become. Their fear is palatable and stories so pathetic that you could almost feel sorry for them.

  9. My portfolio is tanking faster than Trumps poll numbers..the Britexit thing really sucks for me.

My portfolio is tanking faster than Trumps poll numbers..the Britexit thing really sucks for me.
The public leans from Goldie Sax that Hillary will cut social security, but Trump is tanking?

I take that as a figure of speech.

    However, there is a connection.

You lose no money until you sell, and by the time you sell, the economy will be shitting in tall cotton under President Trump.

And in the case of Trumps poll numbers they are meaningless at this early stage, and the only poll that counts and is less susceptible to manipulation than the push polling by big media is the one in November.

As Ernest and Julio Gallo used to say, we will make no wine until its time.

  11. Mike Van Galen, a dutch journalist has written an article giving last rites to Trump based on a poll taken last week after two bad weeks. Because there is such a high percentage of undecideds this race will be volatile. But this dutch douchebag assures us that defeat is inevitable. Yuppers. His grandfather said the same thing after the fall of Paris, therefore tough minded optimism is not in his DNA. He made the mistake of leaving his email and inviting comments so I sent him this:

Q-1: do you live in the United States?

Q-2: have you ever run a political campaign in the United States?

Q-3: what makes you think Rick Moran is the Delphic Oracle?

Q-4: are you aware of the fact that the former chairman of Goldie Sachs, Paulson, just announced that Hillary will slash social security and medicare?

Q-5: experts in this country will tell you that polls taken prior to September are not informative?

Q-6: you may not know it, but we have 95 million people of working age not working

Q-7: you may not know it, but we have a national debt of 20 trillion, and as Nail Ferguson once observed 24 trillion is bankruptcy

Q-8: if the party tries to take down Trump at the convention, when he has 2400 delegates, do you really believe the base will vote for the surrogate they install, i.e. Ryan

Stay out of our politics. Stick to something you know something about: Dutch politics. We will take care of things this side of the pond.

“Under the radical proposals EU countries will lose the right to have their own army, criminal law, taxation system or central bank, with all those powers being transferred to Brussels.”

Admin, although the “stay” referendum failed in Britain, it appears they have a Plan B- which is convincing the Visegrad four central European states into converting into a new Super State.

“Excerpts of the nine-page report were published today as the leaders of Germany, France and Italy met in Berlin for Brexit crisis talks.”

“The public broadcaster reports that the bombshell proposal will be presented to a meeting of the Visegrad group of countries – made up of Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia – by German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier later today”

Apparently, a similarly nefarious plan is in store for the US when it is our turn to vote. This plan was put in play on Oct 2nd 2015. Here is the seemingly understated benign article which for all intents and purposes would purport to fight extremism. But in light of the president’s handling of extremist attacks over the last eight months it flys in the face of the Truth in how these extremists attacks have been designated and cavalierly handled by the WH and the DOJ.

Obama Administration and UN Announce Global Police Force to Fight ‘Extremism’ In U.S.

    Oct 2nd 2015

On Wednesday, Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced at the United Nations that her office would be working in several American cities to form what she called the Strong Cities Network (SCN), a law enforcement initiative that would encompass the globe.

This amounts to nothing less than the overriding of American laws, up to and including the United States Constitution, in favor of United Nations laws that would henceforth be implemented in the United States itself – without any consultation of Congress at all.

The United Nations is a sharia-compliant world body, and Obama, speaking there just days ago, insisted that “violent extremism” is not exclusive to Islam (which it is). Obama is redefining jihad terror to include everyone but the jihadists. So will the UN, driven largely by the sharia-enforcing Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the pro-Islamic post-American President Obama, use a “global police force” to crush counter-jihad forces?

After all, with Obama knowingly aiding al-Qaeda forces in Syria, how likely is it that he will use his “global police force” against actual Islamic jihadists? I suspect that instead, this global police force will be used to impose the blasphemy laws under the sharia (Islamic law), and to silence all criticism of Islam for the President who proclaimed that “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

What is a global police force doing in our cities? This is exactly the abdication of American sovereignty. that I warned about in my book.

The Obama Department of Justice made it clear that it was exactly that when it distributed a press release last week announcing the “Launch of Strong Cities Network to Strengthen Community Resilience Against Violent Extremism.” In that press release, the DoJ complained that “while many cities and local authorities are developing innovative responses to address this challenge, no systematic efforts are in place to share experiences, pool resources and build a community of cities to inspire local action on a global scale.”

So if the local and municipal effort to counter the euphemistic and disingenuous “violent extremism” is inadequate and hasn’t developed “systematic efforts are in place to share experiences, pool resources and build a community of cities to inspire local action on a global scale,” the feds – and the UN – have to step in?

Thus the groundwork is being laid for federal and international interference down to the local level. “The Strong Cities Network,” Lynch declared, “will serve as a vital tool to strengthen capacity-building and improve collaboration” – i.e., local dependence on federal and international authorities.

The Strong Cities Network was launched on September 29, 2015 not at the White House or the Department of Homeland Security, or at the FBI headquarters or anywhere else that might be fitting for a national project, but at the United Nations.

I suspect, Because we will be defending our country from this invasion of radical extremists. American citizens will be designated extremists by this UN Global Police Force, NOT ISIS..

  13. I think there will be more wild proposals in the days ahead.

The question is are they capable of being executed.

Its one thing for so called leaders to meet someplace and talk about a superstate.

I think it is pie in the sky.

But it is just the kind of thing the Rothschildes would attempt

    Under their nefarious dictum

Give me control of the money and I care not who makes to laws.

Culture, history, identity, hatred of authoritarism all militate against these grand schemes

The elite are beginning to look delusional

They have no right to be delusional.

They need to be rational and controlled to be credible.

The more delusional they get them more I like it.

  14. In an interview with marketing website Contently, Peter Rojas, founder of tech sites Engadget, Gizmodo, Joystiq, and gdgt, said Mark Zuckerberg has the power to sway the upcoming presidential election if he decides to do so.
If that is even remotely true, then he should be arrested and placed in preventative detention until it is over. He is a major security threat, his organization is a criminal enterprise and it should be placed in receivership.

  15. The German philosopher Kant said we cannot know the true nature of things. All we can know is the appearance. That is true in politics as well, UNLESS you are really paying attention. For then you may see a faint glimmer of something you never expected, and causes you question what you believed. You wait for an accounting–meaning an acknowledgement, an apology, etc. But sometimes it never comes. Instead the politician you believed in buries it. At that point you know what you believed is all a devil’s lie, and you get off the train. So the question becomes when did first feel that way about Hillary. My answer was Benghazi. And when did you lose faith in Ted Cruz? TPP. Larry Johnson is of the same mindset in re. Benghazi. After that happened his feeling toward Hillary, someone he once admired changed irrevocably. His insights below deal with that issue only tangentially, and focus more on that delicious topic of watching the elites twist in the wind. They knew everyone else was expendable, and they never missed an opportunity to expend others. But now, suddenly, it is beginning to dawn on them that they too are expendable, and could very well lose their high paying jobs and the social standing that goes with it. From superstar, to has been to nobody. Its the nobody part that scares them. Its fun to be king . . . until it isn’t.

The status quo is self-destructing. The years of insider trading, revolving doors, felating lobbyists and pandering to journalists is coming apart. The media and most pundits still cannot accept the fact that more Republicans voted in primaries this time than Democrats. In 2008 16 more million Democrats voted than Republicans. That gap was obliterated this year and it was obliterated by Trump.

I have been quite clear about my own reservations about Trump, especially on the issue of torture. But I am not here to promote Trump or his candidacy. Rather I’m raising a warning about the state of politics in this country. The blatant lies and press participation in spreading the lies about Trump is likely to enrage Trump supporters and further embolden them to storm the establishment rather than discourage them.

We are still relatively early in the election process. Hillary is not generating buzz nor excitement. Trump and company, understanding that you can’t do fever pitch every day, appear to be focused on building up infrastructure and preparing for the November election.

It says a lot about establishment Republicans who would rather support a woman who has the blood of Americans on her hands and is responsible for the deaths of thousands of civilians in Libya and Syria. Her policies promoted those wars. She has enriched herself through her public position. She has wantonly violated laws regarding official emails, choosing instead to set up a private server. And you still have people say that this is better than Trump? Not me.

My portfolio is tanking faster than Trumps poll numbers..the Britexit thing really sucks for me.

jb My portfolio is much much much smaller than yours but I lost nothing as a result of Brexit. My investment broker said this was coming and had me mostly in cash…..now waiting to buy on the downs. Sounds like you may need a better broker. I like and trust mine very much. His name is David Weissman and he’s in Boca Raton, Fl at Wells Fargo if you want a second opinion. WBB is right in that you don’t lose if you don’t sell.

  17. Donald has proven to be a most elusive quarry for big media to take down. How many times has he selected one of the cannons of political correctness, which are shutting down the first amendment and empowering global elites to manipulate us? Its Hegelian in a sense, although he never says it—thesis, anti thesis, synthesis. And big media manages to get trapped ever time. This is alot like the single phrase known to every tow truck operator on a dangerous job–hey watch this. In the case of big media, I can’t believe he said it, now for sure he’s toast and make sure our push polling pollster gets the message. In the case of big media it is one more case of pride goeth before (another) fall. Because the next thing that happens is alternative media gets the pro Trump narrative out, and right after that a terrorist attack which validates what he says, or a non political story, like the boy drowned by the alligator, or St Travon, where it takes them twenty iterations to finally get the story right each one invalidating the one that preceded it. Big media really is a keystone cops operation, and they give incest a bad name. What is it about Trump that eludes them? They have not figured out his game. And they won’t because they can’t. They are all like George Will. When they cannot win they get mad, but rather than picking up their marbels they hurl them in Trump’s direction with little effect. He is 50 moves ahead of them, and this is why we can save ourselves alot of grief if we learn to trust him. To do that, we need only reflect on the track record, how often big media has been wrong, how often Trump has been proven right, and how often he has opened up a dialogue on issues people have been conditioned by false charges of racism not to touch with a 10 foot poll. The latest example from big media is that young people are blaming old fogies for voting for Brexit, and destroying their future. If you went to Harvard, and have been feted for a job in the leviathan bureacracy in Brussels that may be true. But for the average young person, what exactly has globalism done for them–except outsource their jobs, and bring into our country often in derrogation of the rule of law, millions of low cost workers. Don’t let the globalists manipulate you into a position of powerless, supporting policies which diminish your opportunities merely to enhance theirs. And bear in mind what they have done: the globalists have co-opted the language of the civil rights movement and used it for nefarious purposes.

  18. This business of shelling the beachhead, waiting for the return fire which exhausts their ammunition and gives away their position, letting them proclaim victory and then moving in for the kill, is not haphazard, or accidental. It is tactical and transitional, because it moves the public debate into areas which elite opinion has marked off limits. The single goal of elite opinion is to feather their own nest, to proclaim their moral superiority and prevent the public from seeing the truth which is that the greatest impediment to equality is not race or gender at this point, but the fact that 5% of the population controls over 70% of its wealth, and although their wealth is fabulous, those people are conniving and manipulative, and as determined to keep the country down as any one of their predecessors. Not for nothing did the hero in War and Peace by Tolstoy proclaim I want to free the serfs to liberate the aristocracy. To the globalist, this is heresy. But it is why the need a net worth tax. It would liberate them from their materialistic obsession, and test the waters on whether they really are the superior people they claim to be when they are doling out other people’s money.

Well, it will come back eventually. The pain of the market in 08 through 11 was horrible. I went all cash when I got to within my 5-3% of my precrash balance. I wished I’d left it in now, in hindsight, but I fared far better than those who panicked and sold near the bottom.

Just hang onto it. I suspect it’s going to go quite a bit lower – may take a good year or two to bottom out, THEN there will be a buying opportunity.

  20. I am no stock market guru but isn’t the market over inflated and some are saying a correction is due & was coming before brexit even happened

This 40min video exposes the elites LIES to the public their stealth plans through their ‘owned’ politicians to slowly over decades implement [Plan B] as they are now. Using the euphemism SuperStates creating a new face (in blocks)in Europe removing their names identifying them as individual countries as we’ve always known them.

The best political speech I have seen.

The choice in this election is binary:

    Nationalism or Globalism

Trump needs to explain what that choice entails

And he is just the guy to do it

He also need to tell people who owns big media

And how that affects what they report, what they censor, and how they distort

Big media for the reasons previously stated are now the purveyor of lies

And people really need to tune them out.

    They are not salvageable.

If there’s a parallel between the British vote to withdraw from the European Union and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, it’s the disconnect between the elite and the people they represent. The vast majority of the British political establishment, mainstream media institutions, and transnational business class sneered at people who wanted to break from Brussels—an attitude disconnected from the sentiments of a majority of the public. Likewise, Trump’s heterodox views on immigration, globalism, assimilation, and trade are entirely at odds with the professional class in both parties, but they resonate with an ascendant populist constituency that has taken hold in 2016.

The demographic breakdown of the Brexit vote was remarkably similar to the contours of the presidential race. Older voters overwhelmingly supported withdrawing from the EU; they also make up Trump’s base of support. The working-class towns outside of London were the strongest bastions of Brexit. Likewise, Trump is still running competitively against Clinton because of overwhelming backing from blue-collar whites. The notion of “two Americas” (popularized by John Edwards, of all people) has never been more relevant. [snip]

Make no mistake: Politically speaking, Clinton is just about the worst possible Democratic nominee to run in these volatile, antiestablishment times. She hobnobs with the global elite, maintains close relationships with Wall Street honchos, has trouble connecting with working-class voters, and carries an air of entitlement. Polls show that voters don’t trust her and don’t much like her. She’s offering a status quo message to an electorate that thinks the country is headed off the tracks.

Trump made an effective anti-elitist case against Clinton in a speech last week. He charged that insiders like Clinton “wrote the rules of the game to keep themselves in power and in the money.” It’s a stinging indictment that goes after her biggest weakness.

    Hillary’s motto?

When the country is in a hole, dig faster.

Eventually, you will end up in China.

    And that’s not bad

Because they contribute to the Clinton Global Initiative.

And here you thought it was just Middle East dictators

Who were ponying up the payola

To influence the direction of US policy

  25. This latest terrorist attack in Turkey will continue to reinforce Trump’s message about immigration and Islamic terror here as well as make those Britons who voted for Brexit feel reassured that they did the right thing about wanting Britain to leave the failed EU.

  26. 205 days, 15 hrs, counting down the Obamanation. Then we will have a leader who can take action against the globalization that has decimated so many to the advantage of so few.

  27. 205 days, 15 hrs, counting down the Obamanation.
Our national nightmare will finally be over…

  28. Yes, wbboei, I was joking but feeling the pain of another wild ride in the market. I felt a little better today when the market went up, but then this horrific act of terror in Turkey. Erdogan turned a very progressive Muslim country into more or less his own dictatorship creating many enemies along the way. Today’s attack is a sober reminder that no one is safe.

  29. Maybe the Turks will blame him for it and vote him and his party out in next elections. Keeping my fingers crossed for Turkey.

  30. Or more likely he will blame the Kurds for the ISIS attack, use them as a scapegoat and figure out a way to steal the next presidential elections unlike the Remain crowd in the Brecit referendum.

  31. Jb: here is some good news . . .

A robot has overturned 160,000 traffic tickets in New York and London. Baker and Hostadler in San Franciso has got a robot working for them—just think of it, 6000 billable hours per year, no vacations, holidays or sick pay or meal breaks. Clearly, our days are numbered. There will probably come a point where they will become sole practitioners and will represent robots as clients. Hell, we are all obsolete–except for Harry Reid. Dirty Harry is too stupid to be replaced by a robot. His tangle ass with the gym set (or his irate brother) proves that.

Harry Reid is an animal with long, funny ears
He kicks up at anything he hears
His back is brawny and his brain is weak
He’s just plain stupid with a stubborn streak
And, by the way, if you hate to go to school
You may grow up to be a mule

  32. Kasich:

A pig is an animal with dirt on his face
His shoes are a terrible disgrace
He’s got no manners when he eats his food
He’s wacko crazy and extremely rude
But if you don’t care a feather or a fig
You may grow up to be a pig

  33. And Obama:

A fish won’t do anything but swim in a brook
He can’t write his name or read a book
To fool all the people is his only thought
Though he’s slippery, he still gets caught
But then if that sort of life is what you wish
You may grow up to be a fish

  34. The EU Poo-bahs are experiencing the same very painful cognitive dissonance that the eGOP and Dems have with Trump. It is staring them in the face and stomping on their toes and MUST be ignored or rationalized or angrily denounced. Such rude things as “funding” is starting to be mentioned. Since the EU runs on taxes, fees, head taxes, fines, etc it is going to be in the red pretty soon. 15% of straight out taxes will go missing soon from the trough that is sent from the UK and another 8-10% of various fees, fines, and blackrent (extortion) will also. 23-25% is a very big pot to go missing. It is a catastrophe. It seems to be a given in the Poo-bah brain that Germany, Austria, France, Holland, Sweden will just have to cough it up to pay off Spain, Italy, Greece, the Visegrad Four, Turkey, Africa, the Middle East, lobbyists in Brussels, technocrats, NGO’s, and all the other hands out. No mention of budget cuts. Or cuts in various schemes to turn mainland Europe into the new Fifth Reich.

When the new tax bills to the remaining patsies is sent out the squealing is going to start in earnest. The EU was a carefully constructed balance of payments. In and out. Some were paid to stay in and some paid out to dominate them. This is now screwed to hell. Paying that much more to dominate Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Visegard Four, inky-dinks in the Balkans, the great terrorist sink hole of Turkey, etc are probably not worth it even for German car manufacturers. This is the center of the globalist scheme about money and nothing but money and the globalist is seeing his “investment” become worthless.

What price trade and easy money for elites versus safety, security, culture for the masses? The UK decided that the EU wasn’t worth it. Now the remaining EU members have to look at the new balance sheets and what will be required of them. Is it worth it in money and loss of security with open borders and massive crime and tax increases? It will take a while to shake out but the takers vs the payers is going to shift significantly. The pyramid scam of the EU is collapsing.

  35. The Remainers in the UK are extremely unhappy that the entirety of the UK is no longer going to pay for their psychological “lift” experienced from being morally superior, smarter, “citizens of the world” (whatever the hell that means other than not needing a visa to go to some vice-ridden hellhole very cheaply), full access to socialist freebies, and condescension. It is so shocking that they will have to pay for their own “virtue” that their journalist fellow traveler/psychotics/depressives are calling for the murder of certain politicians who represent those who are sick of the virtue twitter mob who are never willing to give up anything themselves but quite happy to give away that which they don’t own or didn’t work to achieve. It is like watching a co-dependent’s divorce with their spoiled and kind of dumb kids going loony.

This is the center of the globalist scheme about money and nothing but money and the globalist is seeing his “investment” become worthless.
Yes. That is it. An investment gone bad. They were so cocksure of themselves that they had all the details worked out, all the systems running fine (especially the propaganda mill known as big media and the phony polls and the surveillance, and, of course the chicken little fear mongering). How could this investment fail? Were the victims stupid, as they now assert, or were they smart enough to figure out that beneathe the lofty rhetoric they were being had?

The other reason for the wailing and nashing of teeth in the outer darkness is unemployment. No, silly goose. Not the unemployment for millions of Europeans displaced by cheap foreign labor. They don’t count. Its theunemployment for legions of Harvard trained bureaucrats that counts. It is unfair, unjust, unethical, that they, our betters should suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune handed to them by the great unwashed.

A would be world bureaucracy staffed by high minded honest hard working saintly people who think nothing of themselves and practice poverty chastity and obedience in their personal lives all in the service of humanity whom they profess to love with all its tragic flaws. Surely an ironic deity can find some appropriate place for them where their vast talents and contributions can still be tapped. Perhaps they could be assigned to cleaning out nuclear reactors. We could tell them they were doing their small part to prevent nuclear proliferation.

    How could this investment fail?

Very easily it appears. The more complex it became the easier it was to kick over the first domino. Notice the really richie-rich people are rather low-key and flat about it. It is the wannabe’s and servant flunkie class that are loosing their minds. In their climb up the greasy pole the pole is suddenly missing and they are in free fall. Always have a plan B. Preference cascades are very tricky especially if you don’t know what they are.

  38. We have known for some time that the RINO is not up to the task of governing this country, and holding people accountable who betray its interests. This is why we must have Trump. He will hold the guilty accountable, and that is sine qua non. Absent that, you do not have a democracy, you have a keptocracy, and a revolution is required to correct the problem.

If you needed more proof that the RINO is a spineless Jellyfish, I give you the current example of this. I am referring of course to the gentleman from South Carolina who constantly reminds us that he was a prosecutor for 16 years, and sent bad guys to prison. Assuming that is true, I can only assume that those were slam dunk cases, and I also assume that after he presented the evidence he said if you examine the evidence as I have laid it out to you, then there is but one ineluctable conclusion–guilty as charged. You don’t get very far as a prosecutor telling the jury in your summation I have put an 800 page report in front of you–read it and draw your own conclusions.

But that is precisely what Curt Gowdy did with the Benghazi report. Much as the press pushed him to take a position on who was responsible, he refused to do so. Question: who in the fuck reads an 800 page report anyway, other than staffers. I can assure you big media does not. And that is what he is saying in effect, yes, we wasted four years on this and came to certain conclusions, but I will not say who is responsible for what occurred. And that is because I am too much of a coward to deal with the partisan recriminations which the press will lay on me, and the truth is no defense.

The one guy on the committee who was willing to pin the tail on the donkey was Mike Pompeo a West Pointer. He called Hillary’s leadership morally reprehensible. If you examine the evidence in an objective light, no other conclusion is possible. Gowdy, on the other hand, is a fraud. Big bad prosecutor? Not quite. More like a cowering politician. Here’s Bozelle on this–and as he points out it is the same m.o. as we saw in the IRS investigation that went nowhere and allows a crook like Lois Learner to collect a retirement check of $125,000 per year plus paid benefits. Who says crime does not pay?

At a press conference Tuesday, Gowdy released his committee’s final report, refusing to blame President Obama or then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as refusing to say directly if Clinton lied to the American people regarding the Benghazi attacks.

Instead, Gowdy said it was up to Americans to read the report and make their own assessment.

“It was up to him to get to the truth, and he punted,” Bozell said. “Just as with the IRS investigation, the Republicans lacked the fortitude to confront those responsible.”

  39. The head gerbil at daily kos has spoken, headline reads, Silver says Hillary wins.

This reminds me of another visionary: Oliver J. Tweet, who was with the Wilbur and Orville Wright at Kittyhawk, and predicted that damned wing contraption will never get off the ground.

FYI: Silver also predicted Brexit would go down in flames. He is batting under 200.

  40. This can’t be good:

Judge Expands Investigation into Hillary Clinton’s Dealings with Foundation Donors

A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the State Department to produce the e-mail records of Hillary Clinton’s scheduler during her tenure as secretary of state, expanding an investigation being pursued by conservative nonprofit Citizens United into the overlap between Clinton’s official travel and her meetings with foreign Clinton Foundation donors.

Citizens United is slated to receive all e-mails sent to and from Lona Valmoro, Clinton’s State Department scheduler, in the two-week periods before each of 14 international trips Clinton took during her four years in office. David Bossie, president of Citizens United, hopes to confirm suspicions that Clinton maintained an off-the-books schedule, meeting with Clinton Foundation donors on the taxpayer’s dime. “Citizens United wants to know how many overseas dinners Secretary Clinton attended with Clinton Foundation donors that didn’t make it on her schedule,” he says.

Judge Rosemary Collyer, the federal judge presiding over a public-records case brought by Citizens United, was initially hesitant to allow the release of Valmoro’s e-mails, and asked the group to provide one example of an off-the-books meeting with Clinton Foundation donors. As part of a joint filing with the State Department on Monday, Citizens United presented the judge with several pieces of evidence suggesting Valmoro deliberately struck from the official schedule a December 6, 2012 dinner in Dublin, Ireland with several Clinton Foundation and Clinton campaign donors, organized by Teneo co-founder Declan Kelly. Though Valmoro was made aware of the Dublin meeting through an earlier e-mail chain, neither Clinton’s archived daily calendar nor her detailed official schedule make any note of it.

Citizens United characterizes the State Department’s decision to go along with the filing as an acknowledgement that Clinton did, in fact, maintain a secret schedule. Collyer was apparently convinced, ordering the State Department on Wednesday to produce 500 pages of Valmoro’s e-mails by the end of August. An additional 500 pages will be released every four weeks from that date, until Citizens United obtains all messages relating to the 14 overseas trips specified.

The latest look into Clinton’s potential abuse of her government post to facilitate Clinton Foundation donations comes the same week as new revelations about her use of a private e-mail server. On Monday, Judicial Watch, another conservative nonprofit, published an additional 165 pages of e-mails from Clinton’s time as secretary of state. Those e-mails — which surfaced only after a court ordered them released — are all professional in nature, undermining Clinton’s repeated claim that she turned over all work-related e-mails to the State Department after stepping down in 2013.

  41. If I were Hillary, I would tell them two things:

    1. first, if you dig into the CGI many allies will be embarrassed, and it would have a very destabilizing effect on foreign policy. Hillary did half the deals, Bill did the other half, he does not remember and she ain’t talking. That is the sword of damocles she is wielding, and it has stopped them dead in their tacks. She is in the catbird position.

    2. second, select Warren as your vp. She is the best insurance policy you can have against removal. Wall Street has warned her not to select Warren, but is she ignores that warning and does so anyway she can say this was necessary in order to unite the party, and at that point, Wall Street will have a major incentive to protect her because they do not want Warren.

    3. third, tell Obama that if he has any inkling of doing a bait and switch at the convention he had better forettaboutit. If he does this directly, through surrogates, or it just happens, she will hold him responsible, and the world will know where the bodies are buried, and what really happened the night of the Benghazi attack when he is MIA.

And then I would delay, obfuscate, and talk about a vast right wing conspiracy which is the dog whistle to big media.

  42. Kissinger grabs Obama by the nose and kicks him in the ass, diplomatically. The great big media messiah fucks up, yet again.
The manner in which the U.S. administration sought to influence the Brexit vote illustrates the point. The threat that without the support of Europe, a solitary Britain would move to the end of the line in negotiations with Washington reversed the historical sequence of that relationship. The “special relationship” is founded in the origins of America, in a common language and in a comparable system of political values reinforced by fighting together in common wars. The idea of the special relationship was enunciated by Winston Churchill not as a refutation of a multilateral world, but as the guarantor of its values in the hard times sure to follow World War II.

In their climb up the greasy pole the pole is suddenly missing and they are in free fall. Always have a plan B. Preference cascades are very tricky especially if you don’t know what they are.
Case in point: Murdock vs the ignorant milennials

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch is very happy about the Brexit decision.
In his first public remarks since Britain’s vote to leave the European Union, Murdoch called the decision “wonderful.” Murdoch owns several news organizations in the U.K., including The Sun, The Times and Sky News.

Murdoch spoke at a Times CEO summit on Tuesday where Ed Conway, editor of Sky News and a columnist at The Times, tweeted some of his boss’ remarks.

“I think it’s wonderful,” Murdoch said of the vote to leave. “We’ve got to decide in this country who we are. We made a momentous decision last Thurs… It’s a bit like a prison break.”

The mogul also said, “It’s time for change. I just hope the right people give the right leadership.”

So much for the “it’s only dumb poor people who don’t understand economics who supported Brexit” theory. Murdoch probably has a more financially vested interest in the economic health of Britain than all of the London millennials who have been gnashing their teeth since last week combined. Murdoch also blamed the market panic in the immediate aftermath of the vote on the “Remain” people.

  44. The painstaking AP analysis of Clinton’s schedule shows there was a lot of money flowing to Clinton’s pet projects and her family foundation from people she took meetings with, people who also had business interests before the government. And it shows she and her aides took pains to insure the details of those interactions did not become part of the record.

  45. The UK would not fully join the EU in the 1970’s or 1980’s. Never part of Schegen nor the Euro currency, the UK insisted on a clause for a quick getaway. They viewed the EU as a sort of prison. This according to former French president Valéry Giscard d’Estaing who wrote (and I assume negotiated it). He also says that Article 50 of the treaty says that “any Member State may decide to withdraw from the Union in accordance with its own constitutional requirements.” The Lisbon Treaty containing the article was signed by the EU member states back in 2007.

That is not what the Eurocrats, globalists and media are implying now in their disinformation campaign. All of the EU members can leave exactly as the UK is and that drunk ass Junker nor the ever foolish Merkel can stop them and they know it. d’Estaing, an honest and very elderly gent also said “However, the French ex-leader believes that Brexit won’t have consequences for the British economy. “The euro is holding, the stock markets have lost much, but recovered quickly,” he said. http://www.infowars.com/exit-clause-created-specifically-for-brits-over-eu-prison-fears-french-ex-president/ His interview was with Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. Funny that no UK nor French newspapers went directly to the historical source d’Estaing to get the truth.

The UK stock market is now at pre-Brexit prices generally and appears to have been a two-three day market correction. Thanks to the UK all of the EU members have an escape hatch it they are smart enough to jump off the burning train.

  46. “One of the guns used in the November 13, 2015 Paris terrorist attacks came from Phoenix, Arizona where the Obama administration allowed criminals to buy thousands of weapons illegally in a deadly and futile “gun-walking” operation known as “Fast and Furious.” http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2016/06/law-enforcement-sources-gun-used-paris-terrorist-attacks-came-phoenix/
“The ATF ran the Fast and Furious experiment and actually allowed criminals, “straw purchasers,” working for Mexican drug cartels to buy weapons at federally licensed firearms dealers in Phoenix and allowed the guns to be “walked”—possessed without any knowledge of their whereabouts.”

And on the same day this information is made public the president of the US and the president of Mexico go after a person, who is not in public office when idiocy like this was occurring, Trump is Hitler/Mussolini and a populist, and these two were enabling cartel arms dealers to sell weapons to ISIS to attack French civilians. Cause and effect. Scream and divert. The US Dept of Justice and the Mexican government protected drug cartels are the arms supplier for ISIS Muslim terrorism. Lucky Trump.

There’s a lot of finger pointing going on over who is responsible for Brexit

Soros who has been the biggest financial backer of importing third world criminals into Europe and the US, Australia, Canada, etc for 30-40 years is now reaping what he has paid for. Hiring what was reputed to be the best and the brightest (in retrospect highly questionable), this old fascist criminal is now switching to blaming them for “doing it wrong”. Everything was grand in Rotherham, Cologne, “No Go” Muslim slums in Paris, Marseilles and Malmo until the UK population lied to pollsters and then voted out. Merkel was doing exactly what Soros wanted by inviting in ISIS through the Greek Isles. His bought technocrats were fully enabling and supporting it. It was FABULOUS! Then it blew up in his scabrous old puss. Now it is Merkel’s fault for not doing it better, not planning it out correctly, and her technocrats not getting the details (like hiding the rapes better maybe) right. He is disappointed in her I’m sure. Decades, billions of dollars, brainwashing and virtue signaling, meetings, media, political donations, time and all for a roster of Article 50’s being triggered from democratic elections with his ninnies and lackey’s standing there with their thumbs up their @$$. A wasted life for Soros. So close but it blew up so now a little blame game.

    “…It’s a bit like a prison break.”

d’Estaing said essentially the same thing. That the Anglo-Saxons viewed the EU as a prison. Murdoch is an Australian Scot but the same mentality. I think the EU is a soviet style gulag which is worse. It is also neo-feudal and anti-democratic in the extreme.

The head gerbil at daily kos has spoken, headline reads, Silver says Hillary wins.

Silver is the the lefty version of the Oracle at Delphi or Miss Cleo at 1-900-BUL-SHIT or the ritual reading of unfortunate chicken guts. He issues prognostications based upon “science” and “math” to calm the nerves of progressives and elites. It is too far out to poll accurately especially with a year of chaos in economics, politics and terrorism. This is an election that has no recent historical model and Silver missed the Trump wave so badly he is not a serious observer of politics in this cycle. He is simply an emotional crutch for the severe cognitive dissonant to forestall depression or rage to keep them functioning.

  50. FYI…and fwiw…

    today’s rasmussen poll:

White House Watch: Trump 43%, Clinton 39%

    Thursday, June 30, 2016

The tables have turned in this week’s White House Watch. After trailing Hillary Clinton by five points for the prior two weeks, Donald Trump has now taken a four-point lead.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%. Twelve percent (12%) still like another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Last week at this time, it was Clinton 44%, Trump 39%. This is Trump’s highest level of support in Rasmussen Reports’ matchups with Clinton since last October. His support has been hovering around the 40% mark since April, but it remains to be seen whether he’s just having a good week or this actually represents a real move forward among voters.

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on June 28-29, 2016 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

  51. Question: what’s wrong with appointing a president who appoints deluded fools to the Supreme Court and RINOS like Orin Hatch famous for saying we are a rubber stamp, whatever the president wants he will get from us, but if we can do a little huffing and puffing we can make a little vigorish on the side?

Answer: from a Los Angeles Police Officer. Incidentally, isn’t it curious how social engineers always look past the role of the family and the church in childhood development, relying instead on the nazis in our midst who seek through indoctrination to create a victim who must be compensated by the state, while lining their own pockets with the proceeds of their lies and condescension. And when they get all huffy and say how can you look to the black family when there is no black family in the black community therefore the state must step into that role. The answer of course is the looney left has done everything it can to undermine the family is the cause in fact. Its like my brother in a heated debate. He raises his hands like Kasich and says, look we all want the same thing. In fact we do not, unless you expand the concept of what we want to something so broad and so abstract as to be meaningless. When it comes to policy and execution, we are at opposite polls, and the wise Latina is as clueless as it comes. But her lunancy, if she can get Kennedy to go along with it, becomes the law of the land.
But rather than rest her argument on legal precedent, Sotomayor went on, in Part IV of her opinion, to engage in reasoning right out of the Black Lives Matter handbook. She goes so far as to invoke “the talk,” i.e., the cautionary tales passed from black and brown parents to their offspring: “instructing them never to run down the street; always keep your hands where they can be seen; do not even think of talking back to a stranger—all out of fear of how an officer with a gun will react to them.”

Justice Sotomayor writes of police officers like a woman who hasn’t met many. In Chicago and elsewhere, it is not the cop’s gun that black and brown people must fear, it is the one wielded by some black or brown person lacking moral guidance in how to use it. And if she is aware of the other “talk” black and brown parents should give their children but too often do not – don’t join a gang; don’t steal; don’t sell drugs; and if you do these things and are caught, don’t fight with the police – she makes no mention of it in her opinion.

    FYI…and fwiw…

    today’s rasmussen poll:

White House Watch: Trump 43%, Clinton 39%

    Thursday, June 30, 2016

The tables have turned in this week’s White House Watch. After trailing Hillary Clinton by five points for the prior two weeks, Donald Trump has now taken a four-point lead.

Yeah, and last week didn’t some polls have her up by 12? These polls have become useless. The switch from publicly listed home phones to mobile phones surely has had some impact on the inaccuracies of these polls.

  53. Will Obama call Japan “racist” or whatever the word is these days?

Japan’s top court has approved blanket surveillance of the country’s Muslims

Japan’s Supreme Court has upheld the government’s blanket surveillance of the country’s Muslim community.

The court struck down the second appeal by Japanese Muslim plaintiffs against what they perceive as an unconstitutional invasion of their privacy and freedom of religion.

A 2010 leak of 114 police files revealed nationwide surveillance of Japanese Muslims. The files revealed that Muslim places of worship, halal restaurants and Islam-related organisations across the capital, Tokyo, were being monitored.

  54. Denver Post does not mention that he’s a black Republican:

Darryl Glenn takes Colorado Republican nomination for U.S. Senate

COLORADO SPRINGS — Darryl Glenn did it again.

With little money and an all-volunteer staff, the county commissioner from El Paso shocked the Republican establishment again Tuesday by clinching the party’s nomination for U.S. Senate and earning a chance to unseat Democratic incumbent Michael Bennet in November.

The resounding victory — called 30 minutes after polls closed — catapulted Glenn back into the spotlight after he won a surprising victory at the state GOP convention in April. This time, he defeated two self-funded millionaires and a party rising star to emerge with a double-digit victory over his closest competitor in a five-way race.

“People are frustrated. They are angry,” Glenn told 100 supporters in a ballroom at The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs. “They are tired of politicians saying one thing and getting elected to office and completely forgetting about the people that they left behind. I want you to understand that we get it.”

Glenn managed to emerge from the crowded race with a cavalry of allies — Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin and other Tea Party stars — and received more than a half-million dollars in campaign help from outside conservative organizations. He called himself “an unapologetic Christian, constitutional conservative” who promised to take an uncompromising approach to Washington if elected.

The Air Force veteran and three-time national collegiate powerlifting champion said he wouldn’t work across the aisle with Democrats and vowed to vote against fellow Republican Mitch McConnell if the current Senate Majority Leader sought to keep his post.

“Starting with no name ID and very little money, he overcame great odds and won a race that few believed he could win,” said Ken Cuccinelli, the president of the Senate Conservatives Fund, one of the organizations that boosted the campaign. “Darryl Glenn won because he’s an unapologetic conservative who is willing to stand up to the liberals in both parties.”

  56. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/286105-majority-of-democrats-want-third-term-for-obama
    Yes. In terms that group.

But here is the real story:

42% identify as independents, 29% as Democrats, 26% as Republicans
Independent identification at least 40% for fifth consecutive year

29% electorate x 66% dims who support Obama for third term = 19% of electorate

Independents are the big cahuna–and for most of them, the bloom is off the rose

Republicans who would support Obama—the RINO fringe who Trump will cast overboard

  57. http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/286054-never-trump-plots-its-last-stand

Never Trump plots its last stand

A coalition of delegates, lawyers, rules experts and PACs has formed in what participants say is the most coordinated effort to date to dump Trump from the Republican ticket.

The organizers are confident of success and say they’re being underestimated.

“This is a laser-guided bomb aimed right at the foundation of the Trump campaign,” said Beau Correll, a Virginia delegate and central figure in the opposition movement.

But despite the gains the groups say they’ve made in fundraising, staffing, coordination and media attention, few are taking their efforts seriously.

Trump’s campaign, led by battle-tested convention manager Paul Manafort, has been working closely with the Republican National Committee (RNC).

It will be Trump’s convention, and his loyalists will have control of the agenda, the microphones and access to an army of supporters ready to surround and shout down insurgents looking to cause a scene inside the Quicken Loans Arena.

No one at the RNC or within the Trump campaign is expressing any degree of panic over the uprising. RNC strategist Sean Spicer told The Hill the effort is nothing more than “tweets and media fascination.”

Skeptics say the insurgents don’t have the votes they need on the Rules Committee — a bastion of party traditionalists — to “unbind” delegates from Trump. And while an emergency legal challenge to unbind delegates in Virginia has a chance, legal experts say, it’s not a great one.

Even if the rebels are able to convince hundreds of delegates to ignore the results of the monthslong primary contest — won handily by Trump — there are processes in place that could ensure the New York mogul becomes the nominee. [snip]

Conservative media figures Erick Erickson, Steve Deace and Bill Kristol have begun joining the conference calls for the coalition and are fanning the flames in editorials and on the airwaves. [snip]

Many Republicans interviewed by The Hill privately grumbled about the effort, describing it as a tiny band of disgruntled delegates engaged in a vanity project that would destroy the party if it were successful.

They believe the likeliest end game is that a few skirmishes break out on the convention floor but are quickly extinguished.

WATCH: Trump Brings Man Up On Stage Who Was Forced To Train His Foreign Replacement

Near the beginning of his town hall event in New Hampshire on Thursday, Donald Trump brought up a man, named Mike, who said he trained his replacement when the factory closed down and moved to Mexico.

Speaking at the former Osram Sylvania Building, Trump said that the plant was closed and “139 workers went to Mexico, they also went to China.”

The presumptive Republican nominee explained, “I want to introduce though a man that’s worked here for many years, Mike. And Mike actually had the distinct lack of honor of training people from Mexico to take his job.”

The real estate developer turned politician said that he met Mike when he asked for a photo. Trump said that Mike had a job for 29 years and “he took a large group of people, he trained them, they’re right now down in Mexico, the company moved to Mexico, he trained the people that took his job.”

When given the opportunity to have the microphone, Mike said, “I just like to say that I back Donald Trump 100 percent. America can be great again if we just give it that one good try.”

“For all it’s worth, this place used to be a place I called home, where my bread and butter was. I continue to work and prosper but however, it’s just heartbreaking… to see the jobs go to Mexico and outside the country. I like to see Donald Trump make America great again.”

After Mike finished speaking, Trump said, “Thank you, Mike and we’ll get things moving and we’ll get them changed.”

Mike’s story of having to train a foreign replacement is not unique to him. Leo Perroro, a former Disney employee has testified before congress about the “abuse” of programs like H1B.

When the Osram Sylvania plant was closed, 139 employees were laid off and the production was moved to Mexico and China.

  60. The move toward world government, the why and the wherefore, the vehicles, the people, the objective, and the push back against it. One of the major organs of this movement is the Council on Foreign Relations which was founded in 1922 at a Paris Restaurant after the Senate rejected the League of Nations. Today it is located in Manhattan and virtually all cabinet level positions from democrat and republican administrations alike are members of this organization. Admiral Chester Ward belonged to this organization for 16 years. As head of the Judge Advocate General Corps he was the top lawyer in the US Navy. He resigned in disgust and denounced the organization as an entity committed to undermining US sovereignty. Hillary once joked that this organization gave politicians their marching orders. As they say in Texas, many a truth is said in jest. Later in the video, the Bilderbergers are discussed. At their annual meeting a few years ago, David Rockefeller of Chase Manhattan bank singled out New York Times and Washington Post for their courageous support in building world government which is the only path to world prosperity and world peace. Big media today is 100% owned by major corporations and the history of that is documented here too. If you think major corporations bought these failing entities for financial investment purposes you have not examined their moribund financial performance. Their sole purpose is to embed the globalist agenda in the minds of the people and to prevent them from seeing, much less understanding how pernicious it is to their interests as Americans. On the other hand, we are seeing some push back. Alternative media today has many times more listeners. But the real tell is to see how quickly big media misreports an issue, or constructs some artificial story in service of their globalist agenda and it gets taken down by people through fact checking and other sources. Some people say we are winning the war. I say time will tell. If we can get Trump elected, then I will say that we are winning the war, and will not find ourselves in the state of blind servitude and obedience that the elites have in mind for us. These people are traitors. If not, then the word traitor has lost all meaning. This is a long video but it is worth the investment of your time, to understand the big picture on what is occurring. The prosperity they claim comes with world government is limited to their group. The peace they extol is the peace of the graveyard.

  61. I do not think Lynch is that tactical, because I doubt she is that smart. She did not need to meet with WJC, and in so doing she trapped herself. (The argument that she trapped herself intentionally, is counter intuitive, and, frankly, beyond her IQ.) Here is what makes the situation serious for Hillary: this email thing–which is bullshit to me compared to all the other foes Obama hath wrought, is a big fucking deal to the military industrial complex, because it compromises THEIR operations. Just keep in mind, Obama and this waste of protoplasm Lynch are puppets and we are supposed to direct our anger toward them, and I for one do not wish to discourage it, because they are nickel bag whores, just as long as we do not lose sight of the fact that the dark movers behind the scene are the real villains here. Not some will suggest that an indictment of Hillary would help her numbers, citing how the impeachment action against raised his level of support. The difference is that indictment was perceived as “political” whereas this one will not be. Did the Republicans appoint Comey? Nope. Let us assume, that this is all part and parcel to a grand scheme to dump Hillary in favor of Biden–or some other schmuck who will be perceived as “likable”. How do you get rid of Bernie? Would they dare run Warren? We can only hope.

100%. Also an Obama Schill and anti-Israeli in her coverage imo.

  64. Hillary’s IT guy takes the 5th over 145 times

A couple of days before Lynch and Bill ‘bump’ into each other, the O admin asks for:

The Obama administration on Thursday asked a federal court to delay until October 2018 the release of 14,000 pages of emails from aides to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

that is, 27 MONTHS…OVER TWO YEARS…these are the emails that might implicate the Clinton Foundation and bring possible corruption into view…

Now…Lynch and Bill huddle…alot can be said without words…also Justice Dept seems to be signaling to FBI…this is an outrageous conflict of interest…for goodness sakes, Bill and Lynch could have passed (symbolic) notes or ‘glances’ to each other…spoken in knowing ‘code’ the “eyes” can say a lot…

for one thing, Bill Clinton nominated Lynch to a lower court in 1999

    O has endorsed Hillary

this reeks of incestous conflicts of interests at the highest level…a child could connect the dots…

…this whole thing smells really, really bad…and ‘rigged’ and ‘fixed’

Why isn’t anyone asking Hillary how she will cut ties …or Bill will be regulated at the Clinton Foundation if she becomes President…

Do they think Bill should be allowed to continue to accept millions of dollars from any and everyone?

    …this is insanity…

  66. Well, Christian Adams offs a contrary view. He say the career prosecutors in the Justice Department will not indict Hillary because if she wins they will be working for her. If that is the case, then their loyalty to the country is non-existent. It ain’t politics any more, its the difference between patriotism on the one hand, and treason on the other. If they cannot see beyond their career aspirations to any higher moral authority then they are in the wrong profession. They should be peddling hot dogs at sports events. Still, I cannot dismiss this opinion entirely because we know how corrupt the current system is, in every respect.

This is LOVELY!! Bill just happens to be on the tarmac at the airport the same time as Lynch..

Brilliant! If Bill was there, of course, on purpose, he was passing along a message (My theory of what was said) to his most loathed opponent (Obama)..

You breathe a word or LEAK one e-mail naming MY Foundation as complicit in anything illegal and I will blow the lid off Benghazi…

Before we deleted the emails from the server… We kept hard copies of the communications that night between you and her. You do remember when Hillary was asking for the go ahead to send air support to Stevens and those Brave Seals risking their lives to save him.

You do remember what you said to Hillary, the night of Sept 11 … You said, “DO NOTHING”..

Hillary begged you to send help… Instead, you told African Air Command “TO STAND DOWN” as well as other available military support in Italy and Gibraltar.

Go ahead, slime bucket- you want to play… bring it. We’ll see who finishes last.

CLUEPHONE.. it ain’t gonna be ME or Hillary.. OKEEDOKE?.. POS

  68. yes, that is what I was referring to above, as a view contrary to my own. My view is more in line with what Morris is saying, which is that the recusal by Lynch removes the political safety net and allows the FBI to move forward with a recommendation to indict, and that recommendation/and or indictment will cause the superdelegates she has in her pocket now to run for the hills. She needs 200+ superdelegates at that point to secure the nomination, her elected delegates being bound on the first vote. Without enough superdelegates to win on the first ballot will throw it into a second ballot and then anything goes. It could be Bernie, Biden or someone else. At that point, Bernies supporters need to beat the shit out of the establishment supporter brutally. They cannot and they should not abide this destruction of democracy. If Hillary is not the candidate, then it must be Bernie, and then the elites can deal with that. The hard core leftists should tear the roof off the DNC convention.

  69. Hillary got into the nickers of the military industrial complex with that unprotected private server. It lets the enemy know all their secrets. You can attribute all this to Obama if you like, but that is not it. The military industrial complex and the financial community run the party. Of the two, the military industrial complex is the more powerful and her actions compromised them. I could give a shit myself, but I am not “the decider”. The interesting part of this is the information highway which we worry will be used by the elites to reduce us to a state of abject slavery ends up biting the elites in the ass time and again. And that is why Donald and his campaign manager have taken extraordinary steps to ensure their security is not breached, because his plans are brilliant and surprise must be a key element to defeat the globalists, their big media hacks, and foil their pernicious plans.

I believe it was Lynch’s plane. Which is exactly
why Bill ambled over to her. I’m sure he knew his conversation w/her would be recorded and/or BO would be listening.

If Hillary is granted the extension; then Bill’s threatening dialog worked.
