Barack Obama’s Purposeful Destruction Of America

Update: Here’s the video we mock/discuss at the end of our article. Joe Scarborough: Obama saying he has no strategy against ISIS is a tactic straight out of “The Art of War”.

———————————————————

We have been too kind and generous towards Barack Obama. Our generosity has been in our assumption that it is not Barack Obama’s willful purpose to do everything he can to destroy the United States of America. With every day that passes this assumption appears less rational.

We’ve made these same arguments and caveats before. In March of this year while discussing Russia and Ukraine we stated that it is possible that Barack Obama’s actions are motivated by a desire to do America harm. When we first started to broach the possibility of willful treachery against America we generally gave greater credence to the “boob” aspect of Barack Obama.

But after Barack Obama’s conduct this week the scales tip from boobery to malevolent treachery. The argument can be made, if one is watching the sideshow not the center ring, that it is sheer stupidity for Obama to say and do the things he says and does. But that level of stupidity beggars imagination.

To us Barack Obama’s comments appeared to be a green light to terrorists, Putin, China, all the world’s bad actors, to do their worst because Barack Obama would protect them from the United States and any harm. It was Barack Obama distracting the United States, its military, and American allies and their armies to chase their tails like circus pets instead of baring teeth as watchdogs in the burglar-shielding night.

Years ago we postulated that Barack Obama is not qualified to be president
because his world view is not congruent with reality. It later became clear to us and obvious to any with eyes open that Barack Obama was busy destroying America with Obama’s treacherous policy of “managed decline”.

How else to explain what was going on? As the Russian bear gobbled up Crimea and targeted Ukraine Barack Obama chose that perilous moment to announce the American military was shrinking to pre-World War II levels. We wrote “It was brilliant timing if the intent was to signal weakness to Russia at a critical tipping point in the Ukraine and world-wide.

Early this year when the Russian bear raised its claws against Ukraine Barack Obama said it was not a Russian invasion but an “uncontested arrival”. On the last Thursday in August Barack Obama declared the Russian invasion was not an invasion but an “ongoing incursion”.

As to Syria and ISIS the Obama strategy is to inform terrorists via a high visibility press conference from the White House that they have a green light to carry out their nefarious plots because Barack Obama’s strategy is to be without a strategy to stop them. It was a green light to terrorists and malefactors worldwide:

SO WHY NO STRATEGY YET?

Couldn’t he have come up with something on the back of the scorecard between the fourth and fifth holes?

ISIS, which did not spend the month of August golfing, has a strategy. They’ve announced it. And as Obama’s own advisors have made clear, ISIS means business.

“Chatter” picked up from the bad guys is growing about a possible attack. Britain has raised it’s threat level. The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee says the “threat matrix” is as bad as he’s ever seen it.

Other world leaders are focused on the job, returned from vacations, terror alerts to terror alerted police issued. Obama is back to the playgrounds of the rich to raise money and cavort. “I wonder what you think about the optics of the president, from that podium yesterday, does not have a strategy to deal with ISIS in serious military, and then next day, without that strategy, goes out and raises campaign money?

It’s a bit too late for Big Media outlets that protect Obama to realize that Obama is doing real harm to the country. Instead the focus for many in Big Media is to tell Obama he damages the Obama “brand”. That was the tack from Politico, WaPo, ABC: This “no strategy” comment will do serious damage.

We worry for the country. Big Media outlets worry about Obama. Even the supposedly “critical” outlets are focused less on the damage of Obama treachery against America than Obama’s damage to Obama:

As with all gaffes, the worst ones are the ones that confirm people’s pre-existing suspicions or fit into an easy narrative. That’s why “47 percent” stung Mitt Romney so much, and its why “don’t have a strategy” hurts Obama today.

Polls have increasingly shown that Americans view Obama as a weak commander in chief without much direction or heft t0 his foreign policy. The latest is a Pew Research Center survey, released shortly before Obama’s errant statement Thursday, that showed 54 percent of Americans say he’s “not tough enough” when it comes to foreign policy and national security.

The damage Barack Obama does every day to America must be the focus. Even the House Intelligence Committee Chairman who is a Republican does not understand the problem. Here is what he said about Obama’s lack of strategy:

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers did not mince words Thursday, slamming President Barack Obama for an “odd” news conference during which the president said, “We do not have a strategy” to deter the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

“It was an odd press conference at the very best, but to have a press conference to say we don’t have a strategy was really shocking given the severity of the threat. That’s what’s so concerning to me,” Rogers (R-Mich.) told Wolf Blitzer on CNN.

“I don’t want to put the cart before the horse. We don’t have a strategy yet,” Obama said from the White House press briefing room Thursday afternoon.

Blizter said White House aides have clarified Obama’s remarks to say the president meant a strategy specifically targeting ISIL in Syria, before asking Rogers if he was “happy with that.”

“Well, I’m not OK with it, and it just confirmed what we’ve been talking about really for almost two years: There has been no real strategy,” the congressman said. “I mean this just tells you how far we have to go and I’m just not sure the severity of the problem has really sunk in to the administration just yet. Clearly, that’s what that told me today.”

Mike Rodgers must begin to realize that for Barack Obama not having a strategy is the strategy. No strategy against America’s enemies is quite possibly what Barack Obama is up to. Sounds crazy doesn’t it? But give us a better explanation. Boobery? This is so far beyond stupidity… well, no one entity is that stupid. Even paramecium have more of a survival intelligence than that.

Josh Gerstein’s explanation likewise does not suffice:

President Barack Obama tried to get himself a bit more political space Thursday to make a decision about whether to expand the U.S military campaign against Islamic militants in Iraq and Syria, but in so doing he may have dealt himself a significant political blow by suggesting that his policy on the issue is adrift.

“We don’t have a strategy yet,” Obama said as he took questions from reporters in the White House briefing room.

Instead of concocting silly reasons about why Obama announced to the world’s thugs that it is open season on an unprepared America as well as worrying about Obama’s damage to Obama, Gerstein should consider that maybe Obama’s purpose is to damage America. It’s a crazy proposition but it makes more sense than Gerstein’s.

As crazy as some will say our explanation for Barack Obama is, can anyone dispute that Joe Scarborough’s explanation for Barack Obama’s behavior is even crazier?:

Just last week, when even Politico writers were horrified that Obama had once again gone golfing immediately after (and I mean minutes after) announcing how very concerned he was about the beheading of James Foley, Joe Scarborough offered the counterintuitive spin that Obama was actually broadcasting his strength via this maneuver.

Scarborough’s takeaway was that IS must look at this Golfin’ Genghis Khan, this Saladin of the Seven Iron, this Mulligan MacArthur, this Desert Fox of the Sandtraps, and tremble, for they must be saying to themselves, “Wow, we killed a guy and he just went golfing. Well, that is one cold bastard.”

No he really spun it that way — that Obama signaled himself to be “one cold bastard,” veins filled with ice water, and not the sort of man you should trifle with.

By putting.

Well, one day after Obama announces to the world that “We have no strategy” to deal with IS, Scarborough’s pretty sure this also proves what an incredible leader we have in Obama.

Scarborough actually claims that announcing “We have no strategy” is a technique torn from the pages of Sun Tzu’s Art of War.

That’s crazy cray-cray. That’s one for Dumb White People. Nutso. As crazy as Andrew Sullivan and Obama’s black face saving the world.

America is in very real danger and very dangerous trouble. Barack Obama is having the time of his life vacationing, fundraising, golfing. Maybe Barack Obama’s good times and America’s bad times are connected. Maybe that’s the Obama strategy.

  1. Bush’s fault, somebody fault. Obama’s words of wisdom:

    http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/216281-media-makes-you-think-world-is-falling-apart

President Obama on Friday said social media and the nightly news are partly to blame for the sense that “the world is falling apart.”

“I can see why a lot of folks are troubled,” Obama told a group of donors gathered at a Democratic National Committee barbecue in Purchase, N.Y.

But the president said that current foreign policy crises across the world are not comparable to the challenges the U.S. faced during the Cold War.

Acknowledging “the barbarity” of Islamist militants and Russia “reasserting the notion that might means right,” Obama, though, dismissed the notion that he was facing unprecedented challenges.

“The world’s always been messy … we’re just noticing now in part because of social media,” he said, according to a White House pool report.

“If you watch the nightly news, it feels like the world is falling apart,” said Obama.

The president acknowledged that conflicts in the Middle East posed difficulties, “but it’s been challenging for quite a while,” he said.

“We will get through these challenging times just like we have in the past,” Obama added.

The president, looking to strike a reassuring tone, argued that American military superiority has never been greater and that the U.S. still held advantages over potential international rivals like China.

The event, held at the home of Robert Wolf, an occasional Obama golf partner and former president of UBS Investment Bank, was the second of three fundraisers the president was slated to attend on Friday. Tickets to the event began at $15,000 per couple, and around 250 supporters were in attendance.

  2. There is no doubt that BO is destroying the nation. Boobery, treachery and looting of the treasury. How many Americans will need to be killed, here, before something can be done? Fort Hood, the Boston Marathon and now 911 is coming.

I think BO is going to wait until after 911 to do his immigration thing, in case one of the 5 million he plans to give amnesty to, commits a terrorist act.

  3. Even if the US did not want to be re-engaged in the middle-eastern wars, we could be taking some actions to deal with the threat ISIL/ISIS poses. A collection of sociopaths of the world, why don’t we document them and hold them accountable for their crimes?

In alot of the pictures I see, they are wearing scarves and masks, but they can’t keep them on, forever. O is such a great spy guy, get their names and faces.

And all that money they got from Iraq, why do the banks let them keep it? I cannot believe that it cannot be retrieved.

It is like the whole world is lost, that this freak brigade can go unchecked.

  4. You know what the problem is with Joey? He doesn’t know the right person to reference. He should have quoted Churchill who said that in wartime “…truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies….” MAYBE he could have used that to explain bumbles moronic decision to make that statement to the world. The only tiny difference is that Churchill was talking about (o the humanity) A PLAN OF ACTION, and not just any plan, but rather, the mother of all military plans that was to be used against the world’s greatest threat at that time.

Admin, I know I am getting much more politically astute because as uncle fluffy was saying this drivel, my mind was filled with only one thought – this waffle has officially tipped his hand. He is ACTIVELY seeking the destruction of this country. You can not do and say the things that he says if you are seeking to continue and further strengthen the great position this nation occupies in the world. This doesn’t just include his comments and actions in the Middle East and the Baltics. His domestic policy. His economic policy. His energy policy. There is nothing that he has consciously made statements that belie his true feelings.

Here as well do I hope that Bill and Hill are ACTIVELY distancing themselves from this tree trunk. It might be the case that to maintain big donors like the ones that give the kind of money that emanate from the MANY fundraisers that uncle fluffy headlines at. Sadly, because of the precedent set in the last two elections, they are a necessary evil. That’s the best I can come up with.

And for all of the morons that continue to tie themselves to this sinking ship in any way, may they lose so bad that K Street thins twice before hiring them.

    Asshats.

Snip Because of complicated connections between the new health care law and income taxes, the Department of Health and Human Services must send out millions of new tax forms next year. They’re like W-2s for people getting health insurance tax credits under President Barack Obama’s law. 8. Saudi king warns West will be jihadists’ next target. 4 hours ago.
Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) (AFP) – King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has warned that the West will be the next target of the jihadists sweeping through Syria and Iraq, unless there is “rapid” action.
“If we ignore them, I am sure they will reach Europe in a month and America in another month,” he said in remarks quoted on Saturday by Asharq al-Awsat daily and Saudi-backed Al-Arabiya television station.
“Terrorism knows no border and its danger could affect several countries outside the Middle East,” said the king who was speaking at a welcoming ceremony on Friday for new ambassadors, including a new envoy from Saudi ally the United States. snip

  12. Scarborough actually claims that announcing “We have no strategy” is a technique torn from the pages of Sun Tzu’s Art of War.
    ———
    It could be.

IF you had a strategy and said you did not, it could be a strategy of envelopment.

But if you were calling this threat junior varsity six months ago.

And if I have conquered the terrorist threat was the centerpiece of your campaign.

Festooned with lie after lie about Benghazi.

And if your imprimatur was not leading in front, but from behind.

Then how likely is it that you had a strategy.

In which case Sun Tzu would not approve of announcing that you do not have a strategy to your enemy.

As far as Scarborough is concerned he has become just another trained ape for MSNBC.

But notice what happens with him and the other trained apes.

Rather than accepting reality and acknowledging that Obama is incompetent–or worse.

They engage in magic thinking of one form or another to defend him.

And the Sun Tzu analogy illustrates just how far this delusion will take them.

So let me say it out plain so all the circus clowns understand it:

Obama is a joke. And a priori, the antithesis of Sun Tzu.

  13. The explanation here is obvious.

He and his advisors do not believe an attack on the United States is imminent.

And he believes a military commitment here would alienate his base on the eve of an election.

Just remember his campaign argument in 2008 was I opposed the Iraq War.

And his campaign argument in 2012 was Osama is dead, and terrorism is gone.

So for him to go to war now politically would be a loser.

But in making this calculation he is gambling with the lives of millions of people throughout the world.

In my view, this is not smart politics, even for him.

Frankly, I don’t know what it takes to shock his supporters out of their delusions.

Any more than I know what it takes to persuade the country that his real agenda comes out of the Soros playbook.

Sorry. They just don’t get it.

  14. The other thing his advisors are banking on is they will not have to act unilaterally, because an alliance of nations, including adversaries will form that will wipe out the caliphate. Today’s Wall Street Journal had a front page article suggesting as much. The incentive to do so may exist. But the religious differences and historical grievances make this less likely. Obviously, the Saudis are most terrified, which is fine by me, since they have been the petrie dish for terrorism across the middle east. If the oil flow is impacted Obama and his boob advisors will be compelled to act. Wall Street will force his hand. Guaranteed.

  15. Hold’em. Great finds.

wbb, I think in saying Obama’s “no strategy” remark is from The Art of War, ole Joe is trying for journalism’s highest award: The Obama’s Alchemist Award, a very prestigious award bestowed on the journalist who makes the most valiant effort to cover for and protect Obama from his own ridiculous words – Joe is desperately trying to turn shit into sunshine.

  16. It’s “ISIS” not “ISIL” — ISIS:
    http://nation.foxnews.com/2014/08/24/obamas-use-isil-not-isis-tells-another-story

Obama’s Use Of ISIL, Not ISIS, Tells Another Story

There has been little notice of the president’s insistent use of the acronym “ISIL” to describe the Sunni forces currently rampaging across Iraq, executing Iraqi military and creating a new massive refugee population in an already unstable area.

With the exception of Reuters and now the Associated Press, most news organizations have not referred to ISIL until President Obama began using the term, which stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. But when Obama used the term 5 times on June13, and 16 times in his commencement speech at West Point on June 19th, he was using his bully pulpit to make a point.

Most, like this publication, continue to use the widely accepted acronym ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or al-Sham, but both describe the same murderous organization. The difference is that the Levant describes a territory far greater than simply Iraq and Syria. It’s defined as this: The Levant today consists of the island of Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and part of southern Turkey.

Why would Obama prefer ISIL? An “army” of that territorial magnitude takes the focus off the two countries that many believe define Obama’s continued failure in the Middle East. Most likely, he would rather eliminate the connection between the chaos in Iraq with his inaction in Syria. Better that the upheaval in a country to which we committed so much blood and treasure remain the fault of George W. Bush. The president has already been tarred with having failed to secure a Status of Forces deal with Prime Minister al-Maliki, which would have allowed a contingent of American troops to stay in Iraq.

  17. From Allen West – it’s ISIS, not ISIL. ISIS, ISIS, ISIS, ISIS, ISIS:

    http://allenbwest.com/2014/08/obamas-use-isil-reveals-true-allegiance-animus-towards-israel/

This week I listened to two Obama administration spokesmen, Josh “Not So” Earnest from the White House, and Rear Admiral Kirby from the Pentagon in relation to the Islamic terrorist army freely operating in Iraq and Syria. These two individuals and many other voices out of the Obama administration refer to them as ISIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant). The group has professed the establishment of an Islamic caliphate and refers to itself as IS (Islamic State). The manner in which we should all be referring to this savage and barbaric group is ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria).

Why should that matter? What are words for?

First, if you choose to refer to this group as ISIL, you have basically rewritten the map of the Middle East and fallen into the trap of not recognizing the existence of Israel and also Lebanon. If you use ISIL you are then validating the Islamic totalitarian and jihadist claim that the modern day Jewish State of Israel is an occupation state and does not exist in the eyes of Muslims.

Need I remind you of the faux pas — or perhaps purposeful use — by then-Obama counter-terrorism advisor John Brennan who, at a Ramadan dinner celebration in the White House, referred to the capital of Israel as Al Quds, not as Jerusalem — what are words for indeed? They convey a certain meaning — just like calling the Ft Hood massacre “workplace violence” and not an Islamic jihadist attack.

Second, if you fall into the trap of referring to this group as IS, you have validated the existence of an Islamic caliphate and through your words lend it recognition and credibility. [snip]

And don’t forget, Barack Hussein Obama’s first phone call as president to an international leader was made to Fatah chief Mahmoud Abbas, aka Abu Mazen — not exactly a nation-state or world leader. What are words for? They’re for realizing what is a declared and recognized state as opposed to a terrorist organization that doesn’t deserve validation.

Lastly, we need to address this group as ISIS because it is seeking to establish an Islamic state within the borders of two recognized nation-states; Iraq and Syria. ISIS can attempt to break down any borders and not recognize them, but we must. We cannot allow this group to reestablish some 7th century regional caliphate and therefore must fight to reestablish sovereignty. [snip]

It was the dream of Kemal Ataturk to have a secular Muslim country, Turkey, but thanks to the Islamist Recip Tayyip Erdogan, that dream has turned into a nightmare.

So what are words for in this case? They are to properly define your enemy and not allow them to define their goal and objective, which we must reject. However, it does concern me that the Obama administration seems to be embracing the ISIL terminology, which reflects their dismissal of our best ally in the Middle East, Israel. [snip]

In any event, I will continue to say ISIS — and I recommend we all do the same — especially the Obama administration.

  18. “From Allen West – it’s ISIS….First, if you choose to refer to this group as ISIL, you have basically rewritten the map of the Middle East and fallen into the trap of not recognizing the existence of Israel and also Lebanon”
    ****
I suspect that West is correct, that the ignorant Obama special snowflake speech writers are trying to convey “a message” probably originating from Brennan and Rhodes. The joke is that there is no difference between ISIS and ISIL. In ISIS, the “Syria” refers to “Bilad” al-Sham, “Greater Syria” which extends from southern Turkey to the Sinai, or in English, Levant. The country of modern Syria is a different word in Arabic.

I think your suggestion has merit.

May I suggest an alternative, in case the Press does not like the idea?

How about The Chicken Shit to Chicken Salad Award.

This award would be exclusive to those in big media.

In other words, deranged leftist bloggers need not apply.

It would go to the big media actor who conjured up the most absurd, counter intuitive, desperate lie to preserve the fiction that Obama is not determined to destroy this nation.

After the award was presented, the son of a bitch would be roasted–over an open pit.

Today, there can be little question about that.

  21. Brennan’s code name is: “The Condor”

  23. This is how it is done (not Romney’s “Obama is nice guy” foolishness):

    http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/386750/ted-cruz-brings-anti-washington-schtick-dallas-eliana-johnson

Ted Cruz brought his anti-Washington crusade to Americans for Prosperity’s Defending the Dream summit in Dallas on Saturday.

“I spent last week in Washington, D.C,” he said. “It’s great to be back in America.” Barry Goldwater, to whom Cruz has often been compared, couldn’t have said it better.

Cruz took jabs like that throughout his remarks, throwing the sharpest elbows at the commander in chief. Six months ago, Obamacare was the dominant issue shaping key Senate races, but in a sign of how the political ground has shifted Cruz predicted they would be a “national referendum on amnesty.” Though many have speculated about the brewing rivalry between Cruz and his fellow Texan, Governor Rick Perry, with both eyeing a presidential bid in 2016, Cruz offered praise for Perry’s decision to deploy National Guard troops to the secure the border.

And he invited the president to the Texas border — to play golf.

He told the crowd on Saturday that the U.S. should bomb the Islamic State “back to the Stone Age” and mused that the Obama diet is simply letting Russian president Vladimir Putin “eat your lunch every day.”

  24. The author of the article below happily reports that WashPo is starting to get nervous about Obama’s lack of competence with respect to foreign policy. They would be nervous about his domestic policy too, if they were not insulated from it by their wealth and gated communities. He sees this nervousness as a moral victory.

    Which is bullshit.

What matters is this: at the moment of truth, they lied about Obama to the American People, and that lie was not a little white lie, it is what Adolf Hitler described as THE BIG LIE. That this big lie would lead to so much death and destruction is hardly surprising. But when it does happen, you can count on big media and dimocrats alike (to the extent there is any difference) to be surprised. But never guilty.

If a mob were to invade the offices of the Washington Post, and string up their editor for aiding and abetting a traitor in the destruction of America, then I would of course deplore such vigilantism.

But secretly, and in the name of justice, I would relish every hour, minute and second of their ordeal.

WaPo Getting Nervous About Obama’s Foreign Policy Skills

Posted by Aleister Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 3:52pm

Who did the Washington Post endorse for president in 2012?

A new editorial from the Washington Post takes an unusually sober look at President Obama’s foreign policy chops and his non-reaction to the world that’s burning around him:

President Obama needs to focus on how the United States can meet global challenges

PRESIDENT OBAMA’S acknowledgment that “we don’t have a strategy yet” in Syria understandably attracted the most attention after his perplexing meeting with reporters Thursday. But his restatement of the obvious was not the most dismaying aspect of his remarks. The president’s goal, to the extent he had one, seemed to be to tamp down all the assessments of gathering dangers that his own team had been issuing over the previous days.

This argument with his own administration is alarming on three levels.

The first has to do with simple competence. One can only imagine the whiplash that foreign leaders must be suffering. They heard U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power denounce Russia as “today . . . they open a new front . . . Russia’s force along the border is the largest it has been . . . the mask is coming off.” An hour later, Mr. Obama implicitly contradicted her: “I consider the actions that we’ve seen in the last week a continuation of what’s been taking place for months now . . . it’s not really a shift.”

If you read on from there, you’ll notice that the editors use the word “disturbing” twice to describe Obama’s response to the situation in Ukraine and the rise of ISIS.

This is quite a departure from the Post’s endorsement of Obama in 2012.

Here’s what they wrote approximately two years ago:

Washington Post endorsement: Four more years for President Obama

MUCH OF THE 2012 presidential campaign has dwelt on the past, but the key questions are who could better lead the country during the next four years — and, most urgently, who is likelier to put the government on a more sound financial footing.

That second question will come rushing at the winner as soon as the votes are tallied. Absent any action, a series of tax hikes and spending cuts will take effect Jan. 1 that might well knock the country back into recession. This will be a moment of peril but also of opportunity. How the president-elect navigates it will go a long way toward determining the success of his presidency and the health of the nation.

President Barack Obama is better positioned to be that navigator than is his Republican challenger, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

Then comes this part, emphasis is mine:

Even granting the importance of the fiscal issue, a case might still be made for Mr. Romney if Mr. Obama’s first term had been a failure; if Mr. Romney were more likely to promote American security and leadership abroad; or if the challenger had shown himself superior in temperament, capacity and character. In fact, not one of these is true.

    And finally, this:

OVERSEAS, TOO, there were successes and failures. Mr. Obama’s administration vigorously pursued al-Qaeda and tracked down its leader, Osama bin Laden. He supported a popular uprising against Libyan dictator Moammar Gaddafi. He recognized the importance of bolstering allies in Asia against Chinese bullying, and he opened trade talks with Asian nations intended to encourage an alternative to China’s state-sponsored, often corrupt capitalism.

One has to wonder if the editors of the Washington post would choose differently today.

  25. Suppose you were one of those billionaires who along with your friends threw mega fundraiser for the Liar In Chief. What useful purpose could it possibly serve? By his own admission he will never run again. So what is in it for you other than your ego?

The only reason anyone pays the $25,000 gate to get into these things is because they want something from him. They have seen that he feels no constraints, despises the middle class and the Constitution, and will gladly sell out the country if the price is right. What is a small investment of $25,000 if it will buy you a $25 million dollar return? He is a cheap date.

I know a guy who goes to these things and pays the freight. He was candid about his motive. He told me “hiring Obama to loot the taxpayer” is his favorite indoor sport. And the return on investment is the closest thing to a gold strike. The only concern is that Obama is so incompetent with his Harvard degrees and all, that he could not run a whore house in a gold strike, which is what his presidency have become–a whore house.

  26. wbb – I saw Michelle’s latest email soliciting more funds. At the end it says all donations will be tripled. What fund would likely be tapped for that?

Remember when Rahm had a citizenship problem? The kind generated when the entire nation knew he’d lived in DC as part of Obama’s staff, yet he wanted to affirm a Chicago residency so he could run for mayor. And the purveyors of truth and logic said “Of course he maintained his home i.e. residence in the windy city and that problem was solved. Well, I wonder how easy it will be for Mary Landrieu now.
Louisiana Democrat Sen. Landrieu faces more questions about her residency
…GOP Senate candidate Rob Maness on Friday submitted a written compliant to district attorneys in four Louisiana parishes calling on them to object to Landrieu’s residency qualifications. The Tea Party-backed Maness formally began questioning Landrieu’s residency last week when he sent a letter about the issue to the Louisiana secretary of state.
Landrieu and her husband live in $2.5 million home on Capitol Hill, according to a statement of candidacy she filed in January with the Federal Election Commission….

Miss Piggy may have a problem.

Unless the judge happens to be Kermit the Frog.

Mutant life forms seem to thrive in Lousiana.

Which is the only possible explanation for Huey Long, Mary’s dad, etc.

They always get elected, but you will be hard pressed to find a single voter who recalls voting for them.

But the corruption of the democrat machine in Louisiana is as nothing compared to South Carolina.

Where mutant life forms are everywhere.

Case in point: Honest Jim Clyburn.

To some he is just another bloody racist to whom loyalty means nothing.

To others, family members in particular, he is a provider of lucrative government jobs.

All in a days work for Honest Jim.

  28. Honest Jim Clyburn gives the word “honest” a whole new meaning.

Hail fellow well met to your face

A back shooter when your back is turned.

    A waste of protoplasm.

  29. We can thank Joe Scarborough and his network for giving us the insight we need to understand the brilliant chess moves by Messiah Obama. Without that insight we could easily conclude that Obama is a coward and an idiot. We now know he is channeling Sun Tsu, when he confesses to the world that he has no strategy for dealing with the ISIS threat. Only when Sun Tsu said that, it was a deception predicated on the fact that he had a strategy and wanted his opponent to make the first move so he could fight the battle on familiar terrain. When Obama says he has no strategy, he is confessing that he does not know what he is doing, putting the onus on our allies, and leading from behind.

    This is all quite helpful.

So much so in fact that when I see documentary proof that:

    1. ISIS is entering our country through the southern border, and-

    2. Obama categorically refuses to secure that border, and-

    3. Obama plans to grant blanket amnesty to 6 million people about whom he knows nothing, and

    4. ISIS agents being among those 6 million will get amnesty too, and

    5. Because Obama has suspended deportations of illegal criminals, and-

    6. They will provide cheap labor for Republican donors, and vote Democrat, and-

    7. Engage in crime, drug running, and overwhelm our safety nets . . .

    I no longer despair

Because now I realize that this too is part of the master plan based on the principles of Sun Tsu. The strategy is in five parts:

    1. Let them in

    2. Let them kill Americans

    3. Apprehend them

    4. Read them their Miranda rights

    5. Exchange them for a deserter

    6. Or let relocate them to the town Holder is suing to build a Muslim center and Sharia Law

Again, my thanks to Joe, Obama, and Sun Tsu.

    Not necessarily in that order.

For helping the skeptics among us finally see the light.

Epilogue: ” Leave me out of this! Obama IS an idiot! And Scarborough ain’t too far behind.”–(the ghost of Sun Tsu)

EXCLUSIVE: Breitbart Texas Verifies ISIS Border Threat With Leaked Doc

by Brandon Darby 29 Aug 2014 2839 post a comment

LUBBOCK, Texas — Breitbart Texas has exclusively obtained a leaked document warning federal agents about an ISIS-related terrorism threat across the entire US-Mexico border. Though the document focuses on the Texas-Mexico border, Breitbart Texas has confirmed that federal agents across the entire US-Mexico border have received the ISIS terror warning.

The document was released by the Texas Department of Public Safety and warned that ISIS was actively promoting and encouraging supporters to take advantage of the porous Texas-Mexico border to carry out terrorist attacks against US citizens.

The document attributed the increased interest by ISIS to a report done by journalist James O’Keefe. Though the report did not mention O’Keefe by name, it showed images of O’Keefe crossing the porous Texas-Mexico border while wearing an Osama bin Laden mask.

In addition to the report, U.S. Border Patrol Agents confirmed that the U.S. Border Patrol agency was indeed taking the threat seriously. A Border Patrol agent in the Laredo Sector told Breitbart Texas that they had credible information that ISIS was attempting to find individuals and groups in Nuevo-Laredo Mexico to assist in gaining entry into the united states.

A Border Patrol agent in the El Paso Sector would only tell Breitbart Texas that a warning was issued to agents pertaining to ISIS.

The Border Patrol agent spoke to Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity.

Judicial Watch first reported on a threat from ISIS being issued to federal agents in El Paso agents earlier in the day. They claimed that their sources warned of an imminent terrorist threat. Breitbart Texas was unable to identify any sources in federal law enforcement agencies to verify that a specific and imminent terror plot was currently under way. Breitbart Texas spoke with the president of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton. He said, “This is a dire situation and I can’t emphasize enough the seriousness of the threat posed here. If your law enforcement sources do not have the information we have, they are being ill-served by their leadership. We put this out to protect the safety of law enforcement and citizens along the border. this is a public safety announcement.”

  30. The problem those democrat senators from red states and are up for election have is they voted for amnesty. Maybe not executive amnesty, but amnesty for lawbreakers nonetheless. But if they try to pull back by claiming they do not support Obama’s amnesty, which will not happen until after the election by my surmise, then the question to them here and now is the one which I propounded yesterday which is how far will they go to stop it? That will tell you all you need to know. If they are unwilling to consider impeachment assuming the House votes to impeach, then you know it is just a smoke screen.

  31. This is what happens when the ‘junior varsity’ stands up to waffles the poodle, and waffles does nothing. See, it’s not just in Iraq that the worry of extremist Muslims exists. It’s not just in Ukraine where president no nuts lack of action has an effect. The best combination is to be loved by your friends, feared by your enemies and respected by all. Uncle pinky isn’t loved, feared or respected by anyone.

Boko Haram kill scores in captured Nigeria town: witnesses

Boko Haram gunmen have killed scores of residents in a Nigerian town on the border with Cameroon that they captured in recent raids, witnesses told AFP on Saturday.

The militants seized Gamboru Ngala earlier this week after taking over military and police facilities in a fierce gun battle which forced thousands of residents across the border into Cameroon.

The residents fled to Fotokol for fear of attack by the Islamists, despite being told they were only after security personnel and local vigilantes.

“They are now killing people like chickens,” said Sidi Kyarimi, a Gamboru resident who fled to Fotokol on Friday. “They started by selective killings and later went on a killing spree.”

Among those killed included the town’s highest Muslim cleric and the head of its traders’ union, he said.

“They threaten to kill anybody who refuses to leave the town. They say we don’t belong,” he added.

The insurgents were roaming the streets of the town carrying guns and machetes, shooting and hacking to death residents, said Yusuf Sanda, who also fled to Fotokol.

“They have been breaking into homes and shops and looting them,” he said.

“Initially they said we were free to stay or leave but now they are saying all residents should leave the town because it is now an Islamic Caliphate.”

Sanda said he escaped to Fotokol by wading through the shallow river on the border because it was too dangerous to walk the streets with the insurgents on the prowl.

Boko Haram has in recent weeks seized territory in northern Borno state near the border with Cameroon in an apparent move to carve out a state for themselves.

In a video obtained by AFP last weekend, Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau declared the town of Gwoza, which his men captured earlier this month, as part of an Islamic caliphate.

Boko Haram now controls at least three districts in Borno state and at least one each in Yobe and Adamawa states.

The military has maintained that Nigeria’s sovereignty is intact and denied reports that soldiers fled the Boko Haram assault in Gamboru Ngala into Cameroon.

Borno, Yobe and Adamawa have been under a state of emergency since May last year but despite some initial gains, the military has been unable to stem increasing violence, particularly in remote regions.

Madagali, a predominantly Christian town in the north of Adamawa state, was the latest to fall in the hands of Boko Haram after they chased out troops.

Scores of Christians were killed in the town and many Christian women were allegedly forced to convert to Islam and marry insurgents, according to the spokesman for the Roman Catholic diocese of Maiduguri.

“Christian men were caught and beheaded, the women were forced to become Muslim and were taken as wives to the terrorists,” Father Gideon Obasogie alleged.

“The houses of Christians that have fled are now occupied by the Haramists. Their cars are used by the terrorists. Strict Sharia law had been promulgated”, he added in an emailed statement.

There was no independent confirmation of Obasogie’s claims due to poor phone networks in the remote region and the mass exodus of residents.

    http://www.afp.com/en/node/2782359

The idiots in my country are no where near as organized as the ISIS boys, but the thing that they can and have copied is the level of violence that is the hallmark of ISIS. My government is corrupt and weak, and uncle junebug won’t do anything but play golf. So these Haramists feel they have a free hand to use a modified version of Japanese ‘Three All Policy’ used in China in 1940. I guess its not getting much play here in the States because the people being slaughtered are Christians.

    Asshats.

  32. The effect of a weak president. Internationally, ISIS is the most well organized terror organization in the history of the world. They are well funded and governmental in their actions. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next thing that you hear is that they have a constitution and are seeking recognition and inclusion into an by the UN. Since they continue to go unchecked by the powers of the world, they spawn idiots all over the place.

The idiots in my country are no where near as organized as ISIS. However, they are copying the worst part of ISIS, which is of course the easiest. The sheer brutality of it all cannot be understated. It mirrors the ‘Three All Policy’ that the Japanese put into place in China in 1940 (a little less burning is the only real difference). And with Golfer-in-Chief giving a terse statement before playing the next hole, combined with a government (my government) a tiny hair weaker and more corrupt than the city governments’ of Sodom and Gomorrah, these Haramists are running roughshod all over northern Nigeria.

I guess the reason why its not getting much play here in the United States is because the people getting slaughtered are Christians.

  33. Mr. Obama claims we faced higher risks in the Cold War than we do now, and the “folks” he constantly refers to in his folksie manner–phony like everything else he does, need to understand that.

That comment is hardly reassuring. Why? Because it shows me that he has zero grasp of the acute dangers we are facing, including the religious zealots we are facing who are willing to die for their cause, and the way the scale of violence has shrunken, and how the means of delivery have become much more accessible. Thus, the statement shows his ignorance.

During the Cold War we were dealing with a rational adversary. He knew that if he launched a first strike that we would counter attack and level his cities. Therefore he was deterred and we had a quarter century of peace because of it. To be sure, the leftist did demand unilateral disarmament, but fortunately for the world those calls were not heeded.

Today, we are dealing with an irrational adversary. He is less concerned with the current world and more concerned with the world he seeks to bring about. And he is willing to die for that cause and achieve martyrdom. Lastly, he does not need an ICBM to deliver the payload. All he needs today is a suitcase.

  34. Exactly Wbboei……I have warned again and again…..The West keeps thinking they can negotiate with these guys…YOU CANNOT.

Its their doctrine that it is their way or death.

The only way to deal with them is to deliver them to that goal of death.

The West needs to do what Obama has been using to his political opponents..”they bring a knife, you bring a large gun”

This is why I have no faith in the West keeping us safe.

This is clearly showing that the current occupants of the WH has no clue what is happening in the world, it has lost control and until we get someone with a bit of steel in that WH, we are going to lose.

  35. Some Monday-morning quarterbacking by a certain Michael Brendan Dougherty in “The Week”, concerning the mess in Libya and how it’s all the fault of… wait for it: HRC, of course!

    https://theweek.com/article/index/267003/how-hillary-clintons-smart-power-turned-libya-into-a-dumpster-fire

He makes fun of her “smart power.” The reader to supposed to assume that he’s really smart himself, with all the sarcasm, spin and tendentious “information” he puts into the account.

For a very good account of the Libya business, including the Benghazi incident, Hard Choices is far better, at least as far as April 2014.

    Thanks alcina.

I agree–he looks like a very good man.

He entered the Marine Corps in 1971.

Therefore, he was class of 1971.

That was during my tenure, but I never knew him.

    His business background is impressive.

The other side tried to disqualify him on the grounds of residency.

He prevailed in a 3 to 2 decision.

Now the state of Maryland is coming after him for back taxes, based on a homestead exemption he took on the premise that he was living in Maryland.

    No big deal.

Especially these days, when the bona fides-or lack thereof of taxing agencies are on full display, and they are finally seen for what they really are–a tool of the democrat party, utterly reckless in their naked disregard for the rule of law, and inclined to lie and cover up when they are called to task on it.

No agency on record has done more to destroy the bona fides of the federal government than the IRS under Obama. Everyone who draws a paycheck from that organization should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Under Obama, it is the next best thing to a criminal organization, which targets innocent people and destroys evidence of its wrongdoing.

Maryland, of course, is a democrat state.

  38. Smart power has turned out to be something of a disaster in practice, even though it looked good on paper, compared to the war war war paradigm of W and Cheney.

Before we render any judgment however, due diligence requires that we not underestimate the problem and the paradigmatic shift that has occurred in the world, and has been underway since the turn of this century.

Kissinger has an excellent piece on the nature and extent of the problem. As with most complex problems, and contrary to the hubris of the left, there is no solution extant. All there ever are in trade-offs, some better than others, but none of them perfect.

I commend this article to your attention. I am sure that Hillary is aware of it, since she has a very good relationship with Henry. My only objection to him was he chided a guy I know who was an undersecretary of defense, and an avid golfer. Kissinger told him he did not play golf because he still had an active sex life.

Furthermore, when he places the likes of Weigel and Ackerman on a pedestal

His (alleged) conservative credentials– and sanity are in doubt.

I commend to your attention this excerpt from his article below:

“Washington DC is made up of one-and-a-half cultures: there are the people who have power, and then there are the journalists and activists who are encouraged to act as a courtier class or a mob by turns. For most opinion journalists, you are a great success if you come up with clever-sounding rationalizations for your readership to consider itself perfectly righteous, and to consider their political opponents as vaguely traitorous or sub-human. In all honesty, national politics has most of the vices of “bread and circuses.”

  42. One could reasonably consider the option of refusing to be reengaged in the middle east. However, it that case you set your boundaries and enforce them. We know that is not happening. In fact, I expect BO to wait on amnesty for his 5 Million until after 911 in the case that some of them are involved in terrorists attacks. And his attitude is inviting those attacks.

    New York? Washington DC? Chitcago?

I think they will go after our refineries. They can take all the security measures they want. There are alot of fence line communities throughout the petrochemical area, predominantly in Texas and Louisiana. A few tunnels and you could lite something off that would leave a crater in the earth. What a nice bonus for BO, to have Perry with a big mess on his hands.

Americans need to recognize what our subverted government is doing and organize citizen watches this 911.

thanks for the input. we have our state primary september 9th. we’ll see how walt does. if he wins, i think he’ll do well against our current govenor, maggie hassan.

  45. Someone is going to have to step in soon and take the reins because its clearly obvious Obama has no intentions on doing a damn thing for the next 2 years…if he doesn’t want to do the job, resign.

The place is going to the dogs and i really don’t think he gives a shit.

The rumblings are getting louder that this is one big ass mistake and the military has just about had enough.

  46. You have to wonder if Obama really did want to win in 2012, i still have the feeling he didn’t want to do it at all, in my opinion, he checked out the day after winning in 2012. He was forced to do it, pretty much sure of it.

  47. or as the other suspicion was…..did the Dems win by accident in 2012? The way the whole thing happened, it just seemed unprepared and ready to check out.

  48. I can see Barack being forced to run. But, I can’t see him being unprepared to win – once he committed to running. His narcissistic personality would have a hard time facing defeat. That said, had he lost, he would have somehow spun it into a race thing. Even tho whites voted for him in numbers sufficient for him to win the General Election, BO would have spun a loss in 2012 as a sign that white Americans were not as committed to ending racism as it had appeared in 2008. His initial election was merely a tactic to make black Americans believe that whites really wanted equality. I’m a victim, he’s a victim, she’s a victim, you’re a victim too.

In some ways, even a loss would have been a win from the twisted Mister’s POV. Still, I don’t think his ego cold have tolerated losing.

Here is my latest At-Risk races… and there are DOOM calls. Hey, it’s Labor Day Weekend. Time to start in on that.

    Alaska Mark Begich High Risk
    Arkansas Mark Pryor High Risk
    Colorado Mark Udall Serious Risk
    Iowa Retiring High Risk
    Louisiana Mary Landrieu High Risk
    Michigan Retiring Some Risk
    Minnesota Al Franken Low Risk
    Montana Retiring DOOM
New Hampshire Jeanne Shaheen Some Risk
New Mexico Tom Udall Off list
North Carolina Kay Hagan High Risk
    Oregon Jeff Merkley Low Risk
    South Dakota Retiring DOOM
    Virginia Mark Warner Low Risk
    West Virginia Retiring DOOM
    In order:

Alaska: Mark Begich has one of the Dan Sullivan Collective running against him, and Begich barely won last time, and Barack Obama hates oil development. High Risk – and yes, I know about the current polling. Incumbents at 46% with Begich’s disadvantages should be grateful for a lack of DOOM.
Arkansas: Mark Pryor is behind in the aggregate polling and he’s stuck with a Democratic identity is a state that is trending less Democratic every year. High Risk.
Colorado: Mark Udall is far too close to Cory Gardner in the polls for Democrats to be comfortable here, and all of the polls are over a month old. Serious Risk, but wait a month: this is the most volatile ranking on this list.
Iowa: …Wow, Bruce Braley is a very bad candidate, huh? The way that he has pretty much thrown away what should have been a gimme lead makes this race High Risk, shading on DOOM.
Louisiana: Mary Landrieu’s major hope is that she gets above 50% in the first wave, because if there’s a runoff she’s toast. Louisiana has also been trending Republican ever since Hurricane Katrina and Democrats hate oil production. High Risk.
Michigan: I originally had this at ‘Serious Risk,’ but the polling is reasonably current and favors Gary Peters. But he’s below 50% and the election season is now starting in earnest. Some Risk.
Minnesota: Al Franken keeps polling above 50%, dagnabbit. The only reason why I’m not taking this race off of the list is because he won by such a horrible margin last time and the race can in fact still implode. Low Risk.
Montana. The existing candidate had to withdraw after a plagiarism scandal – and the Democrats then picked a Wobbly. That is not a euphemism. DOOM.
New Hampshire: Jeanne Shaheen doesn’t have an official opponent, and there’s a single, most recent poll out that shows Scott Brown within striking distance, so let’s not collapse the state vector on this one quite yet. Some Risk.
New Mexico: I have to take Tom Udall off of the at-risk list, sorry. I hate to do that, but it’s not about what I want, sometimes.
North Carolina: It’s not so much that Thom Tillis is barely ahead in the aggregate poll rankings: it’s that sitting Senator Kay Hagan can’t get above 43. High Risk.
Oregon: I regretfully have to downgrade Jeff Merkley: but I am leaving him on the list, largely because Obamacare has been horrible for Oregon. Low Risk.
South Dakota: the Democratic candidate recently referred to Republican candidate Mike Rounds as ‘soon-to-be-Senator.’ At a debate. DOOM.
Virginia: …Mark Warner is ahead, by a lot. And the last poll was a month ago. The latter is barely enough to justify keeping the current ranking, but the next time I do this… well. Low Risk.
West Virginia. Shelley Moore Capito is consistently above 50% in fresh polls (with double-digit leads) and she isn’t a coal-hating Democrat like those people in the national party are. The national Democratic party has also quietly retreated from this race. DOOM.
All in all… we are in an excellent place to retake the Senate. Between the three gimmes and the five High risk races, putting together the six we need to stop Harry Reid in his tracks won’t be even remotely difficult. RCP currently has +7 GOP: I’ll take it, but I want more. More now means that we have more of a margin to work with in 2016, when the Big Board does NOT favor us.

Of course, if Obama was a Chess Master who sees ten moves ahead, this would all be an elaborate rope-a-dope. Like Michael Corleone, he would wait for his enemies to show themselves and reveal their motives. China is suddenly testing our resolve in the Pacific? “Excellent,” Obama says behind tented fingers. The Russians are calling our bluff? “Ahhh . . . the game is afoot.” Egypt and the U.A.E. are writing us off as a paper tiger? “Just as I expected,” quoth the Chess Master to his briefer. The Germans can’t be counted on to stay loyal? “Of course. Of course.” The Poles have made it clear they consider the U.S. an unreliable, even dangerous ally? “I am disappointed I was so right about them all along.” The Iranians pour Hezbollah into Syria? “Rouhani’s a pimp. He never could have outfought Ahmadinejad. But I didn’t know until this day that it was Khamenei all along.”

The Chess Master was testing our friends and exposing our real foes. Like the sea snake that guy in Gladiator described, Obama let his prey nip and bite at him and now, in a shockingly mixed metaphor, the Venus fly trap snaps shut for the Labor Day Massacre.

The reality, alas, is that Obama is — and has always been — out of his depth on the international stage. Given the prestige of the presidency and the incredible institutional forces behind the office, particularly when a liberal is elected, it takes time to burn through all of the political capital that comes with the job. But Obama has been throwing that political capital on an Oval Office bonfire like so much kindling on a clean and safe Anchorage night.

  51. A question that needs big media will never ask (because of its protectionist policies towards uncle fluffy) when they talk to the experts is to define the effect that bumbles waffling has on the rest of the world. We get big lofty statements which are good soundbites and fun to listen to sometimes, but we never hear of examples where his waffling affects what is happening in other countries. So lets see what is happening in my country as a result of uncle jemima.

Boko Haram kill scores in captured Nigeria town

Kano (Nigeria) (AFP) – Boko Haram gunmen have killed scores of residents in a Nigerian town on the border with Cameroon that they captured in recent raids, witnesses told AFP on Saturday.

First, ISIS is not only well funded, but also very well organized. The idiots in my country are moderately funded (by terror standards) and very poorly organized, though they do have a comparable level of military organization to the Nigerian military that is fighting them. The only place the two organizations are similar is in terms of ideology. Boko Haram upped their level of violence to match that of ISIS and it now self determines itself with the same rhetoric. Coupled with being opposed by a weak and corrupt government, Haram is demonstrating what happens when a cancer to the world goes unchecked and then spreads. The other terrible worry is whether some of the Nigerian fighters will migrate to the fight in Iraq and get training. And if ISIS is smart, they would divide up the trainings into two groups. One group would train as fighters. The other group would train as administrators and tactical leaders. This is the result of US foreign policy in the ME and Africa.

    Asshats.

Oh and by the way, we always hear of the brave moderate Muslims that are being killed in these conflicts. Forgive me but a higher percent of Christians per capita are being killed in all these areas as well. I don’t remember them making the headlines in the MSM. Maybe Christians are just expendable to this narrative.

Ferguson police begin using body cameras
9/1/14. Snip Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that approximately 50 cameras were donated by two companies, Safety Visions and Digital Ally, last week. Officers had the devices on during a protest march Saturday and captured what Jackson said were high-quality images of demonstrators taunting police. Jackson said that the cameras were being assigned to the city’s police squads and each officer would get one to use. Representatives from the two companies had visited the police department earlier Saturday to train officers on how to use the cameras. snip

Getting Ferguson Majority to Show Its Clout at Polls

snip “A lot of people just didn’t realize that the people who impact their lives every day are directly elected,” said Shiron Hagens, 41, of St. Louis, who is not part of any formal group but has spent several days registering voters in Ferguson with her mother and has pledged to come back here each Saturday. “The prosecutor — he’s elected. People didn’t know that. The City Council — they’re elected. These are the sorts of people who make decisions about hiring police chiefs. People didn’t know.” N.A.A.C.P. leaders are creating a door-to-door voter registration effort with a jarring reminder as its theme: “Mike Brown Can’t Vote, but I Can.” Senator Claire McCaskill, a Missouri Democrat, is working with others to hold a “candidate school” for people, including young black residents who say they want to serve on a city council or school board but need guidance on what a political campaign requires. The attempt to galvanize voting comes against a backdrop of intense political struggles over the ballot in the state. In 2000, polls were kept open late in St. Louis because of long lines, and Republicans complained about possible voter fraud — one chapter in what would be a long battle over elections and voting. snip

  54. Here is an article that will feed anyone’s paranoia. Obama has fired 9 flag officers since April in preparation for something. And the public, just under half of whom still support him, according to Rassmussen are just plain dumber that owl shit, and need to be told that at every available opportunity. It aint politics any more, it is downright stupidity.

(Note: just because you are paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you, meaning in this case the sainted big media beloved traitor and embarrassment to this nation, Obama, the destroyer of worlds, and the architect of a nightmare in red.)

When the communists seized power in Spain, and began murdering priests the aristocrats brought back a general from Africa named Francisco Franco to prevent a similar nightmare in red. Their criteria was similar to the one now attributed to Obama: a general who will fire on his own people–and/or leave them to die in Benghazi so he can get his beauty sleep for a fundraiser the next day in Las Vegas.

Obama Changes Direction Of US Military Command, Fires 9th General In His Purge

Joseph R. Carducci By Joseph R. Carducci
    October 28, 2013
Have you been paying attention to all the changes that Obama has been making in the US Military? I mean beyond all the political grandstanding and doing stupid things like locking the chaplains out of their posts during the government shut down (for which a Catholic priest in now suing the president). It seems that Obama has been engaged in his own private ‘purge’ of generals and other leaders at the very top of the US Military.

On October 12th, this story was even noticed by Dianne Sawyer of ABC News. You see, there have 9 top level military leaders and commanders fired or relieved of duty since April. Is Obama preparing things for some sort of big event? Nine top-level generals and commanders could definitely be considered a purge of sorts. Perhaps Obama is thinking about some options that the majority of Americans would be loathe to even consider? Several Pentagon Officials have been trying to warn the people to expect radical changes very soon. The Chinese are also thinking about getting out of the dollar and forming their own currency alliance. There is even the strong potential for 16 US States being shut down and handed over to the federal government due to such high levels of debt. Could martial law be coming?

There have also been reports that seem to indicate Obama has a litmus test for military officers these days. Apparently, he only wants officers who do not have trouble firing on US citizens. Several of these now retired officers have come forward and said that they think Obama is preparing for war against the US. We have also heard Obama himself talk about ‘My Military.’ Whatever you think might be happening, it is certainly clear that Obama is looking to change and move things in a different direction.

By the way, these 9 top military officers and commanders were this that Obama has fired or replaced or relieved from duty just in 2013. It does not include a rather long list of those who were also relieved of duty last year (and the year before that). Even Dianne Sawyer felt that this is bizarre and wanted to try and get to the bottom of it.

Take a look at some of the nine who have been fired or relived of duty. General Carter Hamm, US Army, served as the head of the US African Command and in charge during the Benghazzi incident. After being extremely critical of Obama (calling him a liar about reinforcements in the area), he was ‘resigned and retired’ in April. Rear Admiral Charles Gaouette, US Navy, Commander of Carrier Strike Group Three was in charge of aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean Sea on the night of September 11, 2012. He was fired and relieved of duty for ‘utterance of a racial slur.’ And there are plenty more examples, all within the year.

This is an incredibly alarming series of events. It is one of the largest and fastest purges of military commanders that has ever been recorded. These ‘purges’ even included two heads of nuclear strategic commands. This has even made veteran reporter Dianne Sawyer step up and public ask what is the next step that Obama is planning. This is something that every American should be asking themselves as we watch the evidence of what is happening.

What do YOU think? What is the reason for this purge of the military? Can the firing or relieving of duty of 9 top-level generals and admirals this quickly be considered a mere coincidence? What do you think Obama is planning? Why does he want to remake the military to HIS liking? Will the military some day be called upon to fire on US citizens?

  55. I think I know what Obama meant when he said we do not have a strategy to deal with ISIS.

The military has had a strategy to deal with this form of terrorism for over a decade.

But Obama is not a military man, nor is he capable of relating to the world in those terms.

What I believe he meant was a diplomatic strategy to get our allies to do the dirty work so he could lead from behind.

I also believe, actually I know, what he was talking about even more than that was a political strategy to answer the domestic question of how does a fourflusher like him, who sold himself to the communists in his party as an anti war president, play spin the bottle so as to preserve his brand. The public assumes that any president would take whatever steps are necessary to protect the nation from an imminent threat, but if acting upon such a threat jeopardizes his political standing with the base, he will dither, and the moment of opportunity will pass, and the moment of danger will occur.

  56. Whenever I ask myself could I be wrong? Is it fair to say this president would NOT respond to an imminent threat to attack the United States, if to do so would adversely affect his political agenda? The answer to that question has to be past is prologue. The attack on our diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, which cost the lives of 4 Americans, was in fact an attack on American soil, because, under the Law of Nations, a country’s diplomatic outpost in a foreign state is deemed their sovereignty just as much as the land area encompassed within their borders. Surely a law professor and the smartest man to ever occupy the White House understands that concept and underpinning of international law. Yet, on the night in question, he failed to give the order to save the lives of those who were defending it from an attack by radical Muslim terrorists. He claimed he issued that order, but when pressed to produce the legal finding which always accompanies the granting of such an order by any president, he declined. Consequently, the question I posed above i.e. would he defend the nation has already been answered in the negative by his past actions.

  57. And now that there is affirmative proof that ISIS is looking at entering the United States through our southern border, Obama’s intention to grant amnesty to 6 million illegals about whom he knows nothing, and with no security requirement, corroborates my earlier premise that he will not defend this nation, if to do so would ill serve his political agenda, dictated to him by others.

  58. Correction: Yet, on the night in question, he failed to give the order to save the lives of those who were defending it from an attack by radical Muslim terrorist, FOR POLITICAL REASONS, including the fact that he had proclaimed that terrorism was on the decline and he had a fundraiser to attend in the morning–that is what I mean by his political agenda, trumping the security interests of this nation.

  59. One of the things we know is that Obama met with Panetta and the sycophantic general on the night of the attack. Thereafter, he went to bed–without giving an order to save the troops. Panetta and the general then fabricated the excuse that they did not act to save the troops for logistical reasons, which was ridiculous given the fact that the attack lasted 7 hours. What they were covering up for was the failure of the commander in chief to give the order to save those lives and to defend American sovereignty. When Mullen issued his report white washing the entire episode, much has been made that he failed to interview Hillary. The person they should have interviewed for sure was Panetta. And even now, no one has called him forward to testify. Maybe Trey will do so. The bottom line: there can be no doubt that Obama will not act to defend this nation, if it interferes with his political agenda. That point is fundamental, and he is the Achilles heel of a great nation, that will bring it down given everything that is occurring in the world. The fact that half the country approves of his job performance–that is the other problem. But that is entirely a function of the lies perpetrated by big media, his staunchest ally.

  60. At this rate all Hillary needs to do in 2016 is show a video of her saying Obama was not ready or able in 2008……..

When we elect someone—anyone—to the office of President, it is only natural that we attribute great political skills, intellect, and judgment to that man. We want to believe we have selected someone with the ability to do what must be done in a dangerous and very complex world.

This may explain why Presidents who have presided in times of war are more highly regarded than those that have not. Washington brought the nation into being by patiently pursuing a war with Great Britain, Lincoln saw the Civil War to a successful conclusion, preserving the Union

The last century offered two world wars and several lesser ones, Korea and Vietnam. Voters put Franklin D. Roosevelt in office in 1933 and then kept him there until his death in 1945 just before the conclusion of World War Two. They had no wish to disrupt his conduct of the war with anyone else. It fell to Harry Truman to wrap up World War Two and to pursue the Korean War to repulse communist North Korea’s invasion.

The Vietnam War had its genesis in the JFK years, but it was Lyndon Johnson who committed to it with a massive influx of infantry and massive bombing, neither of which was able to deter the North Vietnamese from uniting the nation. Having lied the nation into the war LBJ concluded at the end of his first term which he had won in a landslide that he should not run again given the vast level of unhappiness with the conflict.

The failure to respond in a strong way to the Iranians who took U.S. diplomats hostage left Jimmy Carter with a single failed term in office. Neither domestically, nor in the area of foreign affairs did he demonstrate strength or much understanding.

After 9/11 George W. Bush used U.S. military strength to send a message to the world in general and al Qaeda in particular. By the end of his second term, a completely unknown young Democrat emerged as the Democratic Party candidate for President by campaigning on a promise to get out of Iraq and offering “hope and change.”

Barack Hussein Obama captured the imagination of the voters. He was black and many Americans wanted to demonstrate that an African-American could be elected President. He was relatively young, regarded as eloquent, and seemed to project a cool, self-composed approach throughout his campaign.

The only problem was that he lacked a resume beyond having been a “community organizer.” He had graduated from Harvard Law School, but all of his academic and other public records had been put under seal so they could not be examined. Twice he ran against relatively lackluster, older men who did not possess much charisma, if any.

In his first term, his “stimulus” to lift the economy out of recession was a trillion-dollar failure. By his second term, however, the singular first term “achievement” was the passage of the Affordable Patient Care Act—Obamacare. When finally ready to enroll people it instantly demonstrated technical and policy problems. Obama began to unilaterally make changes to the law even though he lacked the legal power to do so.

The war in Iraq whose conclusion he had ridden to victory in 2008 and 2012 came unraveled and the Syrian civil war in which he had resisted any involvement metastasized into a barbaric Islamic State that seized parts of Iraq and northern Syria.

Halfway through his second term, it was increasingly evident that Obama did not want to fulfill the role of the Presidency to provide leadership in times of foreign and domestic crisis.

On August 28 Gallup reported “Americans are more than twice as likely to say they “strongly disapprove” (39%) of President Barack Obama’s job performance as they are to say they “strongly approve” (17%). The percentage of Americans who strongly disapprove of Obama has increased over time, while the percentage who strongly approve has dropped by almost half.”

His passion for golf became noticeable in ways that went beyond just a bit of vacation time. The time he spent fund raising seemed to be more of a priority than dealing with Congress. Not only did he fail to develop strong political working relations with members of his own party, his churlish talk about the Republican Party began to grate on everyone.

Though no President cares much for the demands of the press, they play an essential role in a democracy. His administration went to extremes to close off access to its members and by striking out at the press in ways that turned it from one that had gone out of its way to support him in the first term to one that actively, if not openly, disliked him in the second.

One characteristic about Obama had become glaringly obvious. He lies all the time. He lies in obvious and casual ways. In politics where one’s word must be one’s bond, this is a lethal personality trait. He dismissed the many scandals of his administration as “phony.”

Given the vast implications of what is occurring in the Middle East, in Ukraine, and elsewhere around the world his response was to interrupt his golf game to give a short speech and then return to the greens. In a recent press conference he said he has “no strategy” to address the threat that ISIS represents.

What Americans have discovered is that they have twice either voted for (or against) someone with fewer skills and even less desire to do the job for which he campaigned. This laziness combined with his radical liberal politics have finally become obvious even to his former supporters.

His statement that he had no strategy to deal with the threat of the Islamic State and that it was perhaps too soon to expect one to have been formulated has led to the conclusion that he was far less intellectually equipped to be President than many had thought.

Now he must be endured and survived.

    ………………..

    Brutal…………….

  61. When we elect someone—anyone—to the office of President, it is only natural that we attribute great political skills, intellect, and judgment to that man. We want to believe we have selected someone with the ability to do what must be done in a dangerous and very complex world.
    —————-
“We” by which I believe he means the electorate may elect them.

But we don’t select them–party elders do that.

We do not nominate them–the delegates/superdelegates do that.

We do not elect them–big media does that.

All we do is cast a ballot.

With no idea whether it will be counted.

And, with even less idea of who will ultimately count the votes.

So what are we really talking about here?

I am not sure what it is–an oligarchy, a monarchy, a dictatorship?

The only think I am sure of is this is not a liberal democracy

    As I understand that term.

  62. Let me back up a minute to underscore what I said above, because if I am right, and I think I am, based on the weight of the evidence, then the ramifications are profound, and they put a lie to the idea that we are in any way shape or form a democracy.

Let me say it out plain: Obama claims he gave the order to save the troops. In point of fact, he did nothing of the kind. The evidence that he gave no such order is clear, cogent and convincing. He-gave-no-such-order. And then he lied about it.

I am certain that this fact is known to the insiders in Washington. I am equally sure that it is an open secret. Why else would they commission the Mullen investigation, and NOT interview the top people who were involved? You do not need to be a conspiracy nut to see that this thing has got cover-up written all over it. Which is why big media did everything they could to bury the story, and to further the cover-up.

For me at least, that goes beyond journalism, and even beyond advocacy. It is akin to treason. And it bespeaks a prejudice which is pervasive in the elite class, that the American People cannot handle the truth. A parallel example would be the 911 commission. An acquaintance of mine was on the panel. And he said that august body was comprised of partisans from both sides, who were not there to get at the truth, but to make certain that there side did not get blamed for the latest iteration of who lost China.

Now that is the truth, with the bark off.
