“Ich Bin Ein Boob” – Obama Runs Into A (#Berlin) Wall – Bill Clinton Hits One Over The Wall

“YES WE SCAN!” protest signs rained on Barack Obama’s return to Berlin parade. Barack thought after the slaps he suffered at the G-8 meeting things would go better in the new Deutchland capital, but as usual Barack was wrong.

How wrong? Very wrong. If Barack expected glorious headlines from his Big Media fans sufficient to drown the Obama scandals he got a dousing rain of reality. In a sweaty attempt to say something “global” there was this from Obama in Berlin: Climate change is the “global threat of our time”. This distract scam in Berlin however did not work.

Instead of glorious Obama in a halo pictures, the New York Times headlined “Reception for Obama Is More Sober Than in 2008“. A quote from a 2008 Obama fan poignantly captured the nostalgic stupidity from that long ago age. The lament from this 2008 Hopium Guzzler confessed that Obama fans were “full of wholly unrealistic expectations of what kind of miracles Obama could work.” Those expectation were created whole cloth by the Obama campaign dream merchants and sold wholesale to the gullible dopes that voted for Barack in primaries and in the general election in 2008.

In the short five years (that appear to the sane to be five centuries of the Dark Ages) since 2008 Germans “have undergone ‘a brutal sobering up’ with regard to Mr. Obama” squawks the Times.

Obama thought a Berlin trip before a super expensive vacation with Michelle Obama in Africa would make the world forget the many Obama scandals. But for Germans who empowered Hitler in the 1930s (albeit at first with only one third of voters – sufficient in a parliamentary democracy to grab power), kept in line by the Gestapo secret police and afterwards tormented by Communist masters in half the country via the power of the Stasi secret police “Yes we scan!” is a well known threat to democracy. “In foreign policy terms, it is a catastrophe.”

In 2008 candidate Obama wooed a reported 200,000 Germans to listen to his campaign crafted lies of false HOPE and CHANGE for the worse. Hitting the brick wall of reality and faded hopes for a change in conversation from Obama scandals to Obama hopeum dopeum the crowds from 2008 melted away into an “invitation-only affair for about 5,000”. The Atlantic captured the contrasts in photos that must make Barack weep.

That was the good news. The even worse news was smelly ol’ Barack Obama himself. John F. Kennedy roused the West with “Ich bin ein Berliner.” Obama might as well have declared “Ich bin ein Boob.” What dope would encase himself in glass like Sleeping Beauty in a coffin?

Years ago we quoted Michelle Obama as she trashed Barack due to his body odors. So bad is the Barack Obama stink that even his daughters, according to Michelle Obama, did not want to approach stinky B.O. in the mornings when his body odors were particularly pungent. We can only imagine the stench from his mouth.

In Berlin today Barack Obama gave his speech while encased by glass. We cannot begin to imagine the malodorous fumes trapped therein. The heat outside of a golf course was too much for ol’ stinky. He began to perspire. Obama then let loose with rivers of sweat. He stinks to heaven.

The stink was so bad even MSNBC and their own stink machine Jabba the Hut Chris Matthews got a whiff of the stink:

MSNBC host and Obama sycophant Chris Matthews blamed the sun for spoiling the president’s speech in Berlin today.

“I think a lot of the problem he had today was the late afternoon sun in Berlin ruined his use of the teleprompter and so his usual dramatic windup was ruined,” Matthews said immediately after the speech. “I think he was really struggling with the text there.”

Blame the sun! Wasn’t Obama the MSNBC Sun King?

If MSNBC did not blame the sun you can be sure Barack Obama would have. This stink of a disaster has to be blamed on someone or something:

* * * * * *

Hey, why not blame Bill Clinton for Barack Obama’s troubles? As we noted recently Bill Clinton called Obama a “fool” and a “wuss” along with taking away Obama’s favorite tactic by saying it was “lame” for Obama “to blame” others for his incompetence. To the rescue come the black chuckleheads more interested in defending Barack Obama than helping the black community.

That idiots of whatever color defend Barack Obama instead of their own constituencies is not surprising. What did surprise is to read some of the comments in response to the chuckleheads at The Root. First, here’s some of the chuckelhead nonsense from The Root:

Bill Clinton Needs to Shut Up

The ex-president’s willingness to speak out on Syria spells disaster for Obama in more ways than one.

I wish that when President Bill Clinton started spouting off the other day about the need for President Barack Obama to intervene in Syria’s horrific civil war or risk looking like “a total fool,” Obama had followed the example set by his wife when she was recently confronted by a heckler. I wish that Obama had leaped from his bully pulpit, got in Clinton’s face and silenced him with a withering put-down. [snip]

Trapped by his own rhetorical warning that the Syrian government would cross a “red line” if it used chemical weapons against its opponents, Obama has authorized shipments of small arms to the rebels. That aid, the president’s critics warn, is too little and too late to turn the tide against the Bashar al-Assad regime, which has backing from Russia, Iran and the Lebanon-based Hezbollah. His critics will now try to bully Obama into taking more drastic action, such as imposing a no-fly zone.”

Barack Obama once again said and did something stupid. Obama drew a “red line” on Syria and does not like it when Bill Clinton or others say he is “yellow” or a “wuss” for not following up on his threats. Obama is an invert of Teddy Roosevelt and hurts America when he speaks all loud and sh#t but carries a little stick. Bill Clinton said what all world leaders were laughing at by declaring that Obama looks to all the world like a “fool” and a “wuss” when he does this.

Obama should either have acted early on to help Syria before the revolution there became a jihadist enterprise or he should have shut his stinking mouth and not made threats he is too weak to carry through on. Blame Obama the Boob for Obama Booberies, not others for pointing out the obvious.

We don’t think intervention in Syria is wise. We prefer, as Sarah Palin has said, “let Allah sort it out”. Was there an American role there when the revolt against Assad started? Yes, but because of Obama weakness it is too late now. Does Obama look to all the world like a wuss and a fool? Of course, and somebody has to point it out right to Obama’s face.

The Root should denounce Barack Obama and demand his ouster. The Root says they represent black America but The Root betrays black America by defending Barack Obama. The Root is undergoing the same brutal sobering up that the Hopey Dopey in Berlin went through in 2008:

“What troubles me most about this slide into another potential disaster is what it tells us about Obama’s lack of political strength. Less than six months into his second term, his presidency appears to be dead in the water.

The malaise extends far beyond foreign policy. Obama is playing defense on every front. He can’t get any of his domestic initiatives past the die-hard Republicans in the House of Representatives. He is beset by embarrassing disclosures about misconduct by the Internal Revenue Service and snooping by the National Security Agency. And later this week, the Supreme Court seems poised to knock out two of the civil rights movement’s greatest achievements: the use of affirmative action in college admissions and key segments of the Voting Rights Act.

On top of that, he doesn’t seem to have any friends.

This is the time when Obama’s fellow Democrats ought to be rallying to his side. Instead, some of them, like a bombastic chorus of black left-wingers, are blasting him for not pushing a so-called black agenda that has absolutely no chance of being enacted. Others, like Clinton, are taunting him, suggesting that paying heed to widespread public opposition to deeper involvement in Syria would make him seem “like a total wuss.”

That is not the kind of language politicians use about presidents they respect. That is not the kind of language used by politicians who believe that the support of the incumbent president would benefit the grandiose ambitions of their spouses. Nor is it the kind of language they use about presidents they fear. It is the kind of language they use when they, like proverbial rats, start running down the gangplank from a sinking ship.

Obama is a boob so The Root attacks Hillary, Bill, blacks holding Obama’s stinking feet to the fracking fire, anyone and everyone except for the wuss and fool – Barack Obama.

Ordinarily things would end with shouts of “RACIST!” screeched throughout the land and especially in a black oriented website. But surprise. Read some of the comments in response to this Root of all stupidity article:

“Bill Clinton has first amendment rights to freedom of speech. Nobody needs to shut-up. President Obama needs to learn how to graciously receive criticism and learn from it.” [snip]

“It is amazing to me that just a few months ago everyone was lauding the former President for for endorsing the POTUS, now that he criticizes him which he has th right to do, you want him to just Shut up. Very Hypocritical in my opinion. The POTUS has surrounded himself with people who have questionable ethics and his decisions are called into question because of it. He aligned himself with Mr. Clinton to get re-elected and probably did something behind the scenes to tick Clinton, so now now everything he does that can be questioned will be by Clinton and his people until his term is over and he can advocate for his wife to become POTUS in 2016. OH WHAT TANGLED WEB WE WEAVE!!” [snip]

“I wish that Obama had leaped from his bully pulpit, got in Clinton’s face and silenced him with a withering put-down.”

You live in a fantasy world if you think Obama is capable of doing that to Clinton, even with an army of speechwriters feeding directly into his earpiece.” [snip]

“But most importantly, why would you want to “silence” a perfectly relevant comment with a “withering putdown?” I mean, is that what the author thinks the POTUS should do? Makes for some interesting press conferences.” [snip]

Why do you expect blind obedience and silence from Clinton? Obama is successful as long as no one dares to mention the great disaster that he is. I think it’s time to speak up before it’s too late to survive this great big mistake called Obama.

There’s some race-baiting in the comments as well but overall there is some recognition that Barack Obama is the problem.

For some in Big Media however, the “problem” will always be Bill Clinton. Today it is Margaret Carlson who shouts “Hillary Has To Dump Bill Now”:

“Gone is the Clinton juggernaut, that unbeatable machine powered by her diesel-fueled husband that was defeated in 2008 by a fresh-faced junior senator from Illinois with an inferior organization but much more in the way of hope, change and a smile.

Her re-emergence had just one flaw. She didn’t keep her dog on the porch, a mistake so serious it could be disqualifying.”

This comment in response is adequate to shock Carlson from her Hopium addition:

“Nah. Bill is still great on the campaign trail. And she did not lose to Obama. She beat him. Only lost because Florida and Michigan were thrown out. Not even Obama at his best could top her. Whatever Bircher the Republicans roll out is going to get rolled and Big Bill will be driving the car that runs over them.

Margaret Carlson is really writing this garbage because she is angry that Bill Clinton is slapping her dear ol’ Obama. That’s the point of this entire article disguised as it is as advice for Hillary Clinton 2016. Carlson can’t imagine that Bill Clinton is doing anything but being “carried away” when he called Obama a fool and a wuss:

He got carried away: Appearing at an event with his wife’s nemesis, Senator John McCain of Arizona, the former president volunteered that President Barack Obama looked like a “wuss” and a “fool,” and was being “lame” with his inaction on Syria.

Even George W. Bush and Dick Cheney have more respect for the office. Is Bill Clinton still angry about 2008? Worse, is Hillary? She worked hard to become the loyal secretary of state who put away hard feelings to serve her country and president. Is she secretly still harboring resentment over her defeat, which her husband can’t help but express?

The Obama Hopium Guzzlers of 2008 are beginning to realize that it is their heads that will roll like stink sweat from Obama when Hillary and Bill Clinton get control of the DNC once again. This is another climate change Obama and his Hopium Guzzlers will try to stop from washing them away.

Still reading your great post Admin. How shameful for the American youth that pretend the crime of snooping isn’t happening by their beloved Baracko. Now they can see the in-your-face protesting from German youth.

    Take that Obamacrats!

  2. Sweating in Berlin is not going to help the Obama agenda as it falls apart:

    http://www.politico.com/story/2013/06/immigration-reform-ups-and-downs-93027.html

    GOP support on immigration dissipating

Congressional Republicans, who have been more receptive to immigration reform since last November, now appear increasingly unlikely to widely back the Senate immigration bill unless they can extract significant concessions from Democrats.

It all comes down to the battle over border security. Some Senate Republicans are coalescing around a new border security plan as an alternative to Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn’s, demanding acceptance of it as a condition for their support of the overall bill. But top Democrats are balking at initial drafts of their proposal and privately concede there’s little chance the Senate will add even tougher border security language to the bipartisan bill.

Failing to win significant GOP support in the Senate could imperil the bill’s chances in the House, where Republicans are already scoffing at the Senate measure. House Speaker John Boehner is vowing to put a bill on the floor only if it can win support from a Republican majority. Rather than advancing a comprehensive bill, as Democrats demand, a House committee began work Tuesday on an enforcement-only measure mainly backed by Republicans.

Without border security before amnesty Republicans will vote NO. With border security before amnesty Obama Dimocrats will vote NO.

  3. …thought Jake Tapper said it well when he commented on O in a video clip in Berlin sweating so much you could see his undershirt and water pouring on his face…yep, Tapper went there…he said “well, O always said he wanted to be the most transparent President…” (paraphrasing then added something like ‘couldn’t his people cover him up0

…it always amazes me when people of such little consequence like a Margaret Carlson bring out the sharpest knives they can find to try to condescend and slice up people of true accomplishment and global status…I guess she feels some self importance and deluded power in trying to knick Bill and/or Hill…most people have no idea who she is and care less…

  4. Sweating like Nixon was a nice touch. As I understand it Obama has so much protection surrounding him at all times that when he appears somewhere that the Secret Service cannot perform a prostate exam on every attendee he stands in a bullet proof box cause he is a physical coward and all. So he is standing in a box, in the summer sun, with a non functioning teleprompter, rattling typed pages, spewing nonsense and producing prodigious amounts of flop sweat for a small (and probably compelled to attend) audience. A picture is worth a thousand words.

In Berlin today Barack Obama gave his speech while encased by glass.

    =====

Was stinky encased in glass on his boney backside too? It looks windy as Hell there, even his mikes are picking up the strong wind…so who sweats bullets in the wind? No one else is sweating…only the wet one, Barry.

I think his sweat has more to do with his being embarrassed at his low number of fans, his loss of his beloved TOTUS or he knows the lovefest is over???

  10. I guess everybody struggles with the question of who am I, who do I hope to become, what do I believe, etc. For well adjusted adults, these questions tend to be resolved by the time they are in their mid twenties. But as you read this biography, you get the sense that this gadfly is still not sure. The other reaction I have is how large the Time Magazine cabal is in the Washington establishment–and how condescending:
    ——————————————————————————————
    Margaret Carlson Biography

She is best known for being the first female columnist at TIME magazine. Carlson joined Time in January 1988 from The New Republic, where she was managing editor; in 1994, she became the first female columnist in the magazine’s history. Carlson covered four presidential elections for TIME, but in 2005 she left for Bloomberg News where she writes a column.

Miss Carlson spent a year after college working at the U.S. Department of Labor and three other agencies. During that year she lived on Yuma Street in Anacostia with her grandmother Nellie McCreary, a maid at the Hotel Washington (Washington, D.C.) and former nurse’s aide at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. After that she taught third grade in Watts, Los Angeles, before joining Nader’s raiders. After law school, she was briefly a Federal Trade Commission lawyer under Michael Pertschuk, until the Carter administration ended.[1][9]

Her journalism career has included stints as Washington bureau chief for Esquire, editor of the short lived Washington Weekly, and editor of Legal Times in Washington. She writes a weekly column for the Los Angeles Times. At CNN she was a commentator on Inside Politics, and for 15 years a panelist on The Capital Gang.

Carlson earned a B.A. in English from Penn State University and a law degree from George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.

Miss Carlson is an accomplished cook, baker, a serious home handyman, and amateur home improvement contractor. She has one daughter and lives in Washington, D.C.

  11. Another example of this Margaret Carlson I hate the world (and most of all I hate men) type of feminist is the broadcasting chief at CBS who blocks Sharyl Attkissons reports from getting out and disparages her behind her back to Dylan Byers at Politico. They are thoroughly despicable in my opinion.

  13. Cruz: ‘The Gang of 8 Bill Is A Disaster’ (Video)
by Debra Heine 19 Jun 2013, 3:26 PM PDT 38 post a comment
    Share This:
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was invited on to the Rush Limbaugh Show, this afternoon, to discuss the problems with the Gang of Eight’s immigration legislation.

“This gang of 8 bill is a disaster”, Cruz began. “We’re hearing the exact same empty promises as 1986. It grants legalization now, and promises that sometime in the future, trust us *wink wink* we’ll secure the border. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.”

Asked about the motivations of Democrats and Republicans for pushing amnesty, Cruz said, “Democrats want it for pure politics. No citizenship, no bill. They want more Democrat voters, or have it voted down and use it as a political issue in 2014/2016.”

On the Republican side, he said, a lot of the support is unfortunately political, as well. “After 2012, all the Washington political consultants and MSM came to Republicans said you’ve got to do better with Hispanics, and the way to do better with Hispanics is amnesty, and Republicans are scared.” Cruz said that argument is nonsense, but there are a lot of Republicans who are scared and listening to the consultants.

Washington consultants advise on immigration, abortion, and gay marriage “that Republicans give up our principles and become Democrats.”

“It’s interesting. You’ve got a number of politicians who are listening it [to the New York Times’ advice] who have not heretofore gotten significant support in the Hispanic community. In my race in Texas—Texas is a majority-minority state—over 40% of the Hispanics in Texas voted for me in the Senate race, and I was very clear in the race from day one in opposing amnesty and supporting border security and improving legal immigration.”

He noted that there are about 20 Republican Senators who are on the fence, and that the time is right now to let your voices be heard. He recommended going to the Secure the Border now website, and sign the petition, and to call your Senator.

“Washington, D.C. is a bubble, and there is nothing more powerful than the conservative grassroots when we are engaged and letting our voice be heard.”

In answer to Limbaugh’s question about the CBO report, Cruz said, “One thing Washington knows how to do is come up with bogus cost estimates. I mean, we all remember when Obamacare was passed, and we were told it would save money, and we’ve now discovered it’s gonna cost trillions.”

He went on to decry the “enormous cost” that amnesty would have on the economy. One thing, he said it would do is set up a de facto affirmative action – “a strong preference in hiring for those who are here illegally” because illegal immigrants who are granted legal status would be exempt from benefits and it would be cheaper for employers to hire them than to hire native-born workers.

“If you’re a small-business owner, if you hire an American or if you hire a legal immigrant, you’re subject to a $2,000 dollar fine per employee if you’re not providing health-care under Obamacare. Where suddenly the 11,000,oo0 who are granted legalization, it doesn’t cost you that” He said that it’s a massive economic incentive for employers to not hire Americans in favor of the immigrants.

Senator Cruz has had a busy day.

In an address on the Senate floor, this afternoon, he strongly critiqued the Gang of 8 bill, citing its failure to protect the border. The video for that is here.

He also gave a speech at the Audit the IRS rally and called for the abolition of the IRS.

His statement on the president’s remarks at the Brandenberg Gate, here.

  14. Sorry this is off topic, however, I was shocked to just hear that author Vince Flynn, age 47, died today after a two year battle with prostate cancer. He wrote the novels with hero Mitch Rapp who often worked behind the scenes for the president. Vince was warning, back when, about the danger of the rise of Islamic terrorism.

Also Tony Soprano or the actor who “was” him died at age 51 today.

Both were way too young for death.

  15. I loved this comment from The Root:

“You live in a fantasy world if you think Obama is capable of doing that to Clinton, even with an army of speechwriters feeding directly into his earpiece.” [snip]

This is in response to some deluded soul’s comment that Obama should get in Bill’s face and lay him out with some “withering comments”. Now, THAT’S funny. Obama has not seen the day he could match wits with the Big Dog, or win a war of words.

Carlson is wrong on a number of counts. First of all, as was said above, Obama DID NOT beat Hillary. As we know, the primary was rigged, and the DNC had to steal her votes and award them to this inept lightweight in order for him to “win”. Carlson is basically just pulling words out of thin air. No validity. No evidence. Bill bitch-slapped her boy, and hurt his feelings, which made Margaret angry.

The more Obama screws up, the more the people who supported him solely because of his race, blame his mistakes on others, or find some reason to criticize – anything to take the heat off the Barack. Obama couldn’t have messed up – he’s half black.

But I’m still giggling at the visual you created! IT’S SO PERFECT.

Thanks again for your great writing and research.

  18. http://www.nationaljournal.com/whitehouse/obama-s-turbulent-european-vacation-20130619?mrefid=mostViewed

    Obama’s Turbulent European Vacation

With vague pledges and backtalk from Merkel and Putin, the president shows how far America’s standing with Europe has fallen.

President Obama’s honeymoon with the world is over.

What was it, exactly, about Obama’s controversy-marred trip to Germany and the G8 Summit in Northern Ireland that fell so flat? Ummm, how about … everything?

There were the snarky words from Vladimir Putin, who expressed an almost Soviet-esque distance from Washington in his views about Syria. “Of course our opinions do not coincide,” the Russian leader said bluntly. There was the coded warning from Chancellor Angela Merkel about spying on friends, and her and Obama’s continuing frostiness over the issue of economic stimulus versus austerity. Above all, there was Obama’s vague attempt at the Brandenburg Gate to capture some wisp of his past glory by pledging vague plans to cut nuclear arms and an even vaguer concept of “peace with justice.”

The “peace with justice” line was a quote from John F. Kennedy, Obama’s attempt to steal just a little of JFK’s thunder from 50 years before. He didn’t come away with much, winning just a smattering of applause from a crowd that was one one-hundredth the size of JFK’s. A crowd that, at about 4,500, was also much, much smaller than Obama drew as a candidate in 2008.

Not only is the honeymoon long over, folks. The marriage is becoming deeply troubled and, increasingly, loveless.

On June 26, 1963, you may recall from your history books, Kennedy flew to West Berlin, which was isolated behind the Iron Curtain, and declared “Ich bin ein Berliner” to delirious roars from a crowd of 450,000 Germans who immediately understood that he was telling them that “all free men, wherever they may live,” stood behind them. [snip]

In contrast to JFK, and Ronald Reagan’s almost-as-famous line 24 years later — “Mr, Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” — Obama came across as more of a jelly doughnut, a little soft and perhaps too sweet inside, especially compared to the hard-edged Putin. [snip]

And even as he quoted Kennedy in his Brandenburg Gate speech Obama appeared to hop lightly from topic to topic, much as his foreign policy has. “The Russians know what they want. I think we’ve in a situation of strategic drift for several years,” says John Arquilla of the Naval Postgraduate School.

  19. http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/351461/cbo-schumer-rubio-bill-will-be-failure-mark-krikorian

Chuck Schumer said recently that passage of the legislation will ensure that “Illegal immigration will be a thing of the past.” Rubio and Graham have made the same claim, repeatedly. But the CBO projects 4.8 million new illegal immigrants and their U.S.-born children will be living in the country by 2023 if the bill becomes law, compared to 6.4 million without it. (This is the 25% reduction Andrew Stiles noted below.) The report doesn’t break out the number of U.S.-born children included in that 4.8 million number, but let’s say, for round-number purposes, there would be 4 million new illegal aliens a decade from now. The report also assumes that only 8 million of the current illegals will receive amnesty, leaving 3.5 million still here illegally (if there are about 11.5 million illegals now, as is likely). Assuming further that half a million of them would die or go home over the next decade, that would seem to imply, based on CBO’s own figures, that there would be 7 million illegal aliens living here 10 years after the bill’s passage. Does that sound like illegal immigration will have become “a thing of the past”?

It’s a space capsule Nora Desmond. Unintelligent Life has been discovered on Mars, so he has decided to hold a fundraiser there, having exhausted all sites on earth to hold a fundraiser. Besides, his last showing in Berlin has convinced him that double dipping in the same well may not yield the plunder he is after, because many former supporters are chalking him off as a God that failed. Meanwhile, he never was terribly popular with those on the right.

  21. This tribute to Barack’s falling star, his poor showing in Berlin being merely the latest example. (Fortunately, he is still wildly popular with the press, the electorate, and Hollywood.) Honeymoon, honeymoon, why’d you have to set so soon, hearts are broken when you die, sadder maids, wiser men, watch you fade away and then no you won’t return again honeymoon.

  22. Krauthammer has been a very perceptive student of the Obama Doctrine. He has been honest and forthright in his appraisals. At different times he has called Obama a textbook narcissist, and the Obama doctrine cloud cuckoo land. But never once has he use the words “strategic drift” to describe the vast erosion of American Power around the world pf which Obama has been both author and progenitor. He is the quintessential rube. But big media loves him.

  23. Obots Create Facebook Page To Attack Mike Zullo’s Investigation Of Obama’s Birth Certificate

Posted on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 7:27:06 PM by Cold Case Posse Supporter

A Facebook page has been recently created by fanatical Obama supporters to attack Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Posse lead investigator Lt. Mike Zullo. Lt. Mike Zullo and members of the Cold Case Posse have done diligent investigative work over the past 21 months and it has paid off. Mike Zullo has proven that Barack Obama on August 27, 2011 displayed a 100% fraudulent birth certificate in PDF form to the United States public. Mike Zullo had his evidence backed by a Hawaiian professional court certified document expert who specializes in computer generated handwriting. With Reed Hayes aboard and Mike Zullo’s upcoming meetings with congressman who now are interested in the investigations findings, Obama supporters are very worried. This Facebook page put up last week called ‘The Many Lies Of Mike Zullo’ is proof of their desperation to obfuscate the true facts that prove Obama’s birth documents are fraudulent along with his selective service registration card.

  24. Obama is an idiot…..

    http://news.sky.com/story/1106020/chancellor-jeffrey-osborne-obama-makes-gaffe

George Osborne suffered an embarrassing case of mistaken identity this week when US President Barack Obama confused him with a black soul singer.

Mr Obama repeatedly referred to the Chancellor as “Jeffrey” as he made a speech on tax avoidance to world leaders at the G8 summit.

As Mr Osborne spoke, Mr Obama said three times that he agreed fully with “Jeffrey”.

The Chancellor did not correct the President. However Mr Obama, realising his error, apologised after the speech.

According to the Financial Times, Mr Obama told Mr Osborne he did know who he was and said: “I’m sorry man. I must have confused you with my favourite R&B singer.”

  25. Marxist “Community Organizer” Calls Catholic Schools “Divisive”

The most divisive President in American history – a militant, Marxist thug – offended Catholics throughout the world, particularly those involved with America’s largest, successful school system – by lecturing the people of Northern Ireland about his perceptions of religious education as “divisive.” Better for the likes of Obama that we should all be “dumbed down,” unable to call on history to recognize tyranny, formed into compliant Obamunists who have not read America’s founding documents, who haven’t a clue about unalienable rights that belong to the children of God, who are unable to engage in critical thinking and logic, who have their minds filled with popular “culture,” and who leave decision making to political elites, like Obama, who know what is best for them.

Since he knows so much about education, why do his own government schools rank below those of most industrialized nations, including those to whom he directed his condescending remarks?

We ask again, when will the Congress of the United States remove this illegitimate “President” who has done anything but “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”?

We hope that Irish Catholic and Protestant educators will make haste to visit the Chicago Public School System so that they can see first-hand the vision Obama has for them.

  26. Admin! What a delight! Thank you. A respite from the terrible Obama-blunder headlines of the day. Makes me wistful for the old America.

  27. From “The Hill” more talk of Hillary as the presumed party nominee in 2016:

Democrats start transition from President Obama to Hillary Clinton

    By Emily Goodin –
    http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/306719-dems-start-transition-from-obama-to-clinton

Democrats in Washington are starting to shift from the Obamas to the Clintons.
Hillary Clinton has already racked up a couple of endorsements for the 2016 presidential race — and she hasn’t even announced she’s running yet. Requests are flooding in for the former secretary of State to campaign for candidates.
Of course, President Obama remains the most sought-after figure, but his star power could fade in the coming months as the chatter about his successor intensifies.  His approval rating has fallen as his administration has grappled with a variety of controversies ranging from IRS overreach to government snooping. snip

    Article quotes Ed Rendell:

“The political focus of the Democratic Party will shift to Hillary, and in some ways it has already,” said former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell (D), who, as a staunch Clinton supporter, has an interest in seeing his forecast come true.

    From Phil Singer:

“There is a cautious presumption that the nomination is hers for the taking,” said Phil Singer, deputy communications manager for Clinton’s 2008 campaign.

There have been other cases o mistaken identity. Who can forget that magic moment when two alleged historians Dorothy Kearnes Goodwin and Michael Bechloss showed their ignorance by calling Barack Hussein Obama Abraham Lincoln. THERE CAN BE NO BORDER SECURITY WHEN YOU REWARD ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION WITH CITIZENSHIP. Come on guys, don’t be stupid, this aint fucking rocket science. Have you learned nothing from 1984. You must de couple citizenship with this bill, or it will be curtains.

Senators Announce Pending Border Security Deal

by Breitbart News 19 Jun 2013

On Wednesday, senators and aides reported that the so-called Gang of Eight behind the immigration reform bill had cut a deal with Senators Bob Corker (R-TN) and John Hoeven (R-ND) to add some border security measures to the bill in an attempt to woo Republicans. The measures would—- not be nearly as strict as anything proposed by Senators John Cornyn (R-AZ) or Ted Cruz (R-TX) or Rand Paul (R-KY). Instead, it would add some border patrol agents, and create a “guarantee” on finishing the border fence at some unspecified point in the future.

Corker explained, “I think we’ve overcome the issues that have separated the group that has been involved in the negotiations. I think we’re together now.” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) seconded Corker’s motion, explaining in mysterious terms, “I don’t know what the hell is going to happen, but we’re on the verge of doing something dramatic on the border. And if it happens it will be due to Hoeven and Corker and a lot of our colleagues… What we’re trying to do is put in place measures that to any reasonable person would be an overwhelming effort to secure our border short of shooting everybody that comes across the border.”

The Corker-Hoeven proposal would reportedly require a 90 percent apprehension rate at the border, and would use certain metrics to determine whether that number had been hit in order to trigger the vaunted path to citizenship for illegal immigrants already in the country. “How do you have assurance that you’ve secured the order before you get to the Green Card?” said Hoeven. “We’ll put the plan in there specifically, and then based on the number of folks you identify, you’ve got to stop at least 90 percent, arrest them or turn them back.”

Democrats implied they were less than thrilled with the deal, with Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) stating that Democrats had caved to “virtually everything” Republicans wanted. “I’ve reached one bipartisan agreement,” Durbin said. “When I look at the road from here to becoming a law, I see a lot of right turns. No left turns.”

It remains unexplained how the government would identify the illegal immigrants crossing the border so as to reach that 90 percent determination; it also remains unclear who would make that determination, the Secretary of Homeland Security, Congress, or some other administrative agency.

  35. We Elected Liars Like Bob Corker

    By: Daniel Horowitz (Diary) | June 20th, 2013 at 09:56 AM | 1

We sit back helplessly watching our elected Republicans cut backroom deals with Chuck Schumer to sell out the Republic and create a permanent Democrat majority. Yet we have nobody to blame but ourselves for electing these liars in the first place.

Back in 2006, conservatives split their votes in Tennessee between Van Hilleary and Ed Bryant, handing a solid red seat to progressive Bob Corker. At the time, immigration was a hot-button issue, and Bob Corker screamed from the hilltops that he was just as strong on the issue as his conservative opponents. He not only opposed any amnesty before enforcement, he opposed amnesty period. He consistently said that all those who came here illegally would have to go back home and come here legally.

During the general election, he ran strong on the issue against Harold Ford. On September 15, he began airing the following two ads:

“For centuries, immigrants have come to America

legally. They worked hard and made America great. But today,

we’ve lost control of our borders. We need a new immigration

policy that reflects America’s values. First, secure this

border. Allow people to work here but only if they’re legal.

No amnesty. Those employed but here illegally must go home and

return through legal channels. And those who want to become

citizens must learn the English language. I’m Bob Corker and I approve this message.

“Listen to Congressman Harold Ford.” FORD: “Every day
fifty-seven hundred miles of border stands unsecured. It must
stop.” ANNCR: “More talk. But what’s his record? Ford voted
against allowing the military to secure the border. Against
tougher penalties for illegal immigrants caught smuggling drugs.
He says he opposes amnesty for illegals, but he’s also said he
could support a bill that included amnesty. Harold Ford. Ten
years in Washington. Tennessee’s most liberal congressman.”
CORKER: “I’m Bob Corker and I approve this message.

Now he is saving a dying amnesty bill by placing phony triggers in a bill 10 years after amnesty is granted. John Hoeven explained the amendment like this: the “whole effort has been to build a bipartisan group that will support the bill.”

Folks, this is what the entire Mitch McConnell caucus is all about. They work indefatigably to put lipstick on Democrat proposals so they will win bipartisan support. This is why we can’t trust establishment candidates to fulfill their promises even on the few issues they officially check the boxes on the right. Ultimately, they are working for the political class, and if that political class decides that an onerous bill must pass, they will work overtime to lend Republican prestige to that proposal – either publicly or privately. They will often vote against the bill once passage is inevitable, but they will work behind the scenes to sabotage any unified opposition.

We expected this treachery from a guy like Corker, yet we allowed him to lie to us. Yes, it would be nice if these people would air TV ads and explain their support for amnesty and the need to elect Chuck Schumer Republicans. But they lack the courage to vouch for the veracity of their views when standing before the voters. That’s why it behooves us to identify these trouble-makers early on. We should not be electing establishment-types like Bill Cassidy in Louisiana and Mike Rounds in South Dakota next year. We should not reflexively reelect incumbents like Mitch McConnell and Lamar Alexander. We should not credulously buy into the lies that will flood airwaves.

As for Bob Corker, we just gave him a reelection pass last year. The least we can do is make it clear this will be his last term and that his partner in crime, who is up for reelection next year, should not return to the Senate in 2015.

Moreover, it’s time for the Tennessee House delegation to stand up and speak out against this travesty. They all campaigned strongly against amnesty. Will they condemn the Corker-Hoeven treachery?

Call their offices and ask them to stand with the people of Tennessee:

  36. GonzoTx, from Politico:

    http://www.politico.com/story/2013/06/house-senate-immigration-bill-doa-93083.html

If 70 to 80 senators vote for the bipartisan bill — which some in the Senate are aiming for — the House would barely feel pressure to take up the bill. Most conservatives instead would see passing the legislation as an act of mass stupidity.

“I don’t know, Mother always told me that if 70 people jump off a cliff, you shouldn’t follow them,” Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) said. Rep. Raul Labrador, an Idaho Republican respected on immigration issues, mocked fear of a large Senate vote, saying, “Oooh, I’m scared.”

Forget Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) — boldfaced conservatives who helped craft the Senate’s bill. House Republicans say their imprimatur might even hurt the prospects of the bill among rank-and-file Republicans.

Carlson et al are already trying to sandbag any chance HRC has of running/winning in 2016 just like they did in 2007/8. Instead, I would like to hear why they are already pushing her out there only 6 month’s into Teh One’s dismal second term.

    ______________________

Yep. Something smells about the whole Dems and MSM embracing Hillary scenario. Not to go all conspiratorial, but either this is some kind of set-up, or recognizing that she’s a lock for 2016, they’re all doing a little sucking-up. Either way, things are not what they seem.

I hope that the Clintons will make them all do a little ring kissing and public groveling for their anti-clinton bias in 2008 and beyond.

  41. Anthony, we’re thinking about writing more on the continuing war between Hillary/Bill versus Obama. A while back we published an article about the time to come when the DailyKooks will begin their war against Hillary. Recently the war began as even the DailyKooks are in 2008 mode – some now hating Obama and supposedly on Team Hillary and others ready to start a “Stop Hillary” campaign (and saying their candidate is Elizabeth Warren).

The war started when “BrooklynBadBoy” seemingly rewrote one of our articles which stated that Hillary has to run from Obama. The comments section demonstrates how the DailyKooks are in turmoil:

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/06/19/1217229/-The-unspoken-truth-you-know-deep-down-about-Hillary-Obama

The unspoken truth you know deep down about Hillary & Obama

I’m going to be brief and direct.

You want to know why Hillary Clinton is leading among all Democrats by huge margins? It is simple: She is the only Democrat big enough to separate from President Obama in 2016 and still win a general election. You can’t name anybody else who can do that.

Why would any Democrat want to do that? It is simple: Because even 3 years from now, we are still going to have a shitty economy. President Obama’s legacy on the economy is pretty much set: slow, middling growth coupled with vast inequality and poverty. Eight more years of treading water is hard sell. You’d have to be an idiot to run on the Obama economic record. For any other Democrat, there will be no avoiding it.

The cyclic nature of politics should mean the tide is against us. Add to that a Democratic Party that is still afraid of its own shadow, and we shouldn’t expect any bold policy initiatives that will fix our crap economy. The only thing saving us in a national election is three things:

    1. Demographics.
    2. The Republican Party is fucking crazy.
    3. Hillary.

    And that’s the truth, Ruth.

As we have written before: tie Obama to Hillary and she loses.

  42. “I guess unlike his last visit, there was no available time to slam him in between acts at a rock concert.”

Anthony, don’t forget the free beer and food. Hell, that crowd would have cheered Donald Duck if he appeared while they were rocking out and swilling free beer – on his dime. Yet, MSM spun it as if Obama were Mick Jagger, Jimi Hendrix, and Jimmy Paige all rolled into a half-black, post-racial, super-cool, new wave presidential package.

  43. The Republicans cannot get a clue. If they would find a way to get rid of the right wing nut jobs, and the Willows (as in swaying any way the wind blows), and tape up the mouths of some of the sexist, nasty and mean spirited (all the while, proclaiming their “Christian Principles” to the roof tops) talking mouths, and embrace fiscal moderates with more sense than sentimentality, they would appeal to a multitude of Indys and Dems, as well as moderate Pubs – and maybe have a chance of getting someone elected. They refuse to let go of that Moral Majority mindset of the Jerry Falwell era.

    WTF is wrong with them?

  44. Admin:
“Anthony, we’re thinking about writing more on the continuing war between Hillary/Bill versus Obama.”

    ****************************************************************

    Please do.

At this point, BOT-ulism poses a serious threat to anything that resembles normalcy in Washington. IMO, it is both the Obots and the (newly coined) HILLbots who can most easily destroy her; the Obots because anything or anyone who steps out of line with the Progressive agenda is raaaaaaacist! (and don’t forget how both Clintons were painted with that brush), and the HILLbots because they just refuse to believe that events related to Benghazi are a very powerful and effective tool that her detractors (both Dem and Repub) can use against her.

Blind and unconditional support only weakens the credibility of any candidate, and don’t think the Clinton-hating MSM won’t try to paint all of her supporters as weak-minded lemmings (and look where that got us…..)

From the sounds of things flushing in the Big Orange Toilet, there seems to be growing support for Warren as an alternative to anything Clinton. I cringe at the thought of the Chicago machine pushing her through. Don’t underestimate them

  45. Democratic Senator Wyden – the head of the committee which is supposed to oversee it – is so furious about the lack of access that he has introduced legislation to force disclosure.

Republican House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa is so upset by it that he has leaked a document on his website to show what’s going on.

What is everyone so furious about?

An international treaty being negotiated in secret which would not only crack down on Internet privacy much more than SOPA or ACTA, but would actually destroy the sovereignty of the U.S. and all other signatories.

It is called the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

  46. Call their offices and ask them to stand with the people of Tennessee:
    ———————–
    Done.

  47. Anthony, the landscape of the 2016 election is being set now. And while I have been by design over the top on the big media control of the public mind, I know that it does have its limits. I think the one thing that all these scandals have done is to convince people that the game is rigged against them, and if they do not put up some resistance then they will get targeted, disenfranchised and destroyed. Therefore, the successful candidate must, must, must, position themselves as an outsider willing to fight the establishment. For Hillary, that will be the biggest hurdle, bigger I think than Benghazi. Now if in addition to this, you get a stock market collapse, which neither I nor Merrill are predicting, but if you get the upper middle class of this country feeling some of the pain which has been visited on the middle class, and the lower class, then you have the makings for a real change. If this outside candidate, and it will not be Rubio, he has committed political suicide with this Gang of Eight Proposal, and the lying he has done to promote it, somebody like Paul, or my favorite Cruz, which never fails to elicit groans from my have may cake and eat it too RINO friends, then perhaps there is a way out of this mess. If not then not. At this point, we do not need an even more intrusive federal government, and if Hillary gets the nomination, we do not need a hard left who characterizes honest dissent as sexism. As things stand, if the Republicans field an establishment candidate, then I will probably support Hillary. I did so unconditionally in 2008, whereas now, there will be some conditions: first, I need to be more comfortable than I am now that she will follow the path of Bill and not Obama when it comes to policy. In discussions with friends, I always take that position, but I need to be clear on it. Second, I need to be comfortable that there will be a bloodletting of those who betrayed her in 2008, and they will not be allowed to exonerate themselves by climbing aboard the freight train which is moving toward her nomination. We know whom we are talking about. Third, I need to know that she will respect the Constitution, which is the only guarantee we really have that this country will not succumb in time to dictatorship, thanks to the tools and treason provided to those in power by the likes of that pock-faced software engineer and former head of Google and co-conspirator with Obama, Eric Schmidt. As I write this out, I can hear someone say, you are a fool if you think any candidate can ever give those kind of assurance, and even if they do they will turn into a Bob Corker once they get in office. Then call me a fool if you like, but that is where I am now.

  48. A friend of mine believes that some of this NASA disclosure has been intentional, notwithstanding the fact that Snowden, whom I respect, made it public. My friend is a man of the world, which means he has seen this dynamic operate in other countries, which practice authoritarian rule. But he brought it down to a very simple analogy. He has a parking lot which serves his customer, and the public at large parks there ignoring the towing signs. He even tried posting a security guard there for an hour a day so the word got out to the community. That did not work too well either. But when he leased a tow truck and posted it beside the sign the problem went away. By analogy, if people know they are being monitored their behavior will change. Most people think of this in the context of political dissent, but it applies just as well to trade secrets and business initiatives which must be conducted in relative secrecy until such time as patents are secured, etc. And what of this FISA court? Can they be trusted. When I see that Judge Vincent of Florida sits on that court, he being an honest man and strict constitutionalist, I say yes. But when I learn that Jay Rockefeller also sits on that court, I worry, he being among other things a Bilderburger.

  49. They know and we know there is pretty much no other rock stars in the Democrat party than the Clintons. Obama was a busted flush, a big mistake and once they were tied to him in 2008 there was no going back and Democrats are an unforgiving bunch, once Obama is out of office,he will be tore to shreds by the very people who put him there.

Anyone who thinks the Clintons will forget who crossed them in 2008, don’t know them very well, they will be persona non grata in a HRC White House.

Hillary will having scrubbing rubber gloves on for years getting the Obama stench out of that place.

People need to realise Obama is already done, a dead lame duck, no one is listening and no one is asking for his help. The party really no longer belongs to him and there has been no build up for anyone else but Hillary and there is no time for anyone else. The plan for Obama took years to ferment, even before his 2004 convention speech…we saw no successor other than her in 2012.

There is a reason why she walked away in 2012 from The SoS position, it was to put as much distance between her and the disasters now befalling Obama….and lets face it has anyone even heard or wondered what SoS Kerry has been doing, or as i call him the invisible State Secretary.

She does’nt even need to do PR, she is just talked about, people just look at her in wonder of what might have been.

I think it would be hard for her to pass up another shot for what would undoubtedly be her best shot in 2016 and i think she’d walk it this time.

  50. Just if you think the protests in Turkey have ended they have not, they just dont want you to see them…
    ————————–
No doubt about it. But to continue to cover the story–while Obama heads to a hundred million dollar vacation would make him look weak, disinterested and ineffective. That in turn would undermine the greatest president in history which they are building into his legacy, with too little concern for their own.

  51. wbboei, agree agree agree. Not only with what you wrote, but also with your conditions re: voting for HRC. That said, those conditions require the ultimate amount of faith to believe they will be met (to me, faith = believing where logic tells you not to).

What I’m waiting for is to see what happens after the 2014 elections. I believe the GOP will gain control of the Senate and keep the House. That would be the perfect time for Hill/Bill to spill the T about everything. Close enough to 2016 to remain relevant and early enough to gain traction among those of us (and hopefully more) who have (deserved) mistrust of her own party who so proudly fucked her over in 2008 and ever since.

    —————————-
Externally, yes. Internally, no. Why? He has the dossier on everyone in the party, spies everywhere, a lap dog media and as the gentlelady from Watts so aptly put it the greatest get out to vote information ever compiled. Thus, internally, rumors of his timely demise have been greatly exaggerated. But there will come a point where the internal politics will have to yield to external reality, and my guess would be that when Obamacare hits the transom the moment of truth will have arrived. For Hillary, I do not think the path to the nomination will be arduous this time. But the election is a different story, because now more than ever, the establishment has no credibility, and anyone who has been on the inside as long as she has faces a much more difficult challenge. You can make the case that it is far better to have an insider who will work for the American People than an outsider who takes years to learn the how to perform in an executive role. I made that argument in writing and in person in 2008, and no one seemed to care. It will be that way again I am afraid. And that means, Hillary must find some way to position herself as an experienced outsider. How that sits with the elites however is a different story. There have been those leaders like Iocca, and DeLorean who played the game to get to the top, and once there displayed a degree of individual initiative which would have threatened established constuituencies in their respective organizations if they had displayed that aptitude on the way up. But in the political world that is harder to do. Some might say that Obama did it, but the truth is it was obvious to anyone who looked at his resume what he would do when he acquired absolute power.

  53. That would be the perfect time for Hill/Bill to spill the T about everything. Close enough to 2016 to remain relevant and early enough to gain traction among those of us (and hopefully more) who have (deserved) mistrust of her own party who so proudly fucked her over in 2008 and ever since.
    ————————–
Yes the timing would be right. But it would have to come from media sources they trust. There are so many unanswered questions about Obama, that as he becomes increasingly irrelevant, and I hope, obstructionist, the public may become interested in having some “credible” journalists commence filling in the blanks. I might even consider hard left jurnolists since they are the ones who are apt to feel most betrayed by Obama, and are more likely to resonate within the party. It would be nice if we could rely on Ka-ta-ree-na ho ho ho, or Walsh, but for them liberalism is not a belief system, so much as a fashion statement. I mean an honest people of the left, like Glenn Greenwald, Chris Hedges, etc. who elevate principle over compromising power calculations.

  54. When I was campaigning for Hillary in Charleston West Virginia, I stood in the rain on the morning of the election holding up a three tier Hillary sign on the road into the city. I got soaked. Next to me was a delightful lady who was a fellow democrat who was holding up a sign promoting her own candidacy for state office. I asked her why so many liberal women in power did not support Hillary purely from the standpoint of their own self interest. She told me that in that group it is just like high school, where petty jealousies, and I am better than she is, are on display. She was as disgusted with it as I was. I think of that conversation when I see people like Margret Carlson, Cokie Roberts, Adrea Mitchell, Babawawa, Campell Brown, Katie Couric operate. Of course it is no better with their male counterparts like Jonathan Alter, that fool on Meet the Press whose name I can never remember, etc. It is not what is best for the country. It is all just ego, which is its most virulent form celebrity. Celebrity over truth and celebrity over country. To hell with celebrity and all those who worship that false god.

  55. Flash: House defeats farm bill 234 to 195. More than 60 GOP noes. This was not expected.

  57. Breaking — Senators unveil breakthrough border plan to give Republicans cover to vote for amnesty

Posted by William A. Jacobson Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 2:07pm

As we speak, a “breakthrough” agreement will be announced regarding border security. More on that later

It’s all a dance and ratifies a bad policy of rewarding law-breakers over law-abiders.

Via Mark Kirkorian at NRO, ‘The Border Security Ruse’:

The latest attempt at providing political cover for pusillanimous Republican senators to vote for amnesty comes from Corker and Hoeven. Their proposal would leave the basic, flawed architecture of the bill in place, amnestying the illegal population up front and promising more enforcement in the future. The marquee element of this latest ruse is to roughly double the Border Patrol by adding 20,000 agents and finish the 700 miles of fencing already required under current law. It also includes a 90 percent apprehension rate for border infiltrators, but all its provisions are “goals” rather than requirements and would thus not have to be met before the amnesty beneficiaries could upgrade to green cards (and eventual citizenship).

This is utterly phony. Even Senator Corker alluded to its phoniness when said this morning on MSNBC that “for people who are concerned about security, once they see what is in this bill, it’s almost overkill.” There is no way to successfully recruit and train 20,000 additional Border Patrol agents in a short period of time — at least not without cutting a lot of corners. The Border Patrol certainly needs to grow — it’s considerably smaller than the NYPD. But doing it properly takes some time; it took about a decade to add the last 10,000 agents, so how long would it take to add 20,000 more? They just pulled this number out of their, uh, hats as a way to dazzle the yokels “who are concerned about security.”

The Corker-Hoeven amendment is a sham, pure simple. Anyone who votes for it is announcing that he thinks the American people are gullible fools. I just hope they’re not right in that assessment.

I have little trust in those who are negotiating for “us.”

Via Andrew Stiles at NRO, Gang of Eight Republicans Get a ‘Pass’ from Chuck Schumer:

The Senate Judiciary Committee today [May 20] rejected an amendment to the Gang of Eight immigration bill that would have prevented illegal immigrants who acheive provisional status under the plan from receiving earned-income tax credits, a major source of federal assistance. In an unusual move, Gang of Eight members Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) voted with their fellow Republicans on the committee to support the amendment, which was defeated ten to eight on party lines. Throughout the amendment process, Flake and Graham have almost always voted with Democrats, including Gang members Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Dick Durbin (D., Ill.), to block GOP amendments. This time, however, Schumer appears to have given them a “pass” to vote with members of their own party…..

At the 3:10 mark, Schumer can be seen, and heard, leaning over to ask a member of his staff: “Do our Republicans have a pass on this one if they want?” Apparently they did.

Washington (CNN) – Just as support starts piling up for a second Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, the opposition forces are marshaling their resources to keep up.

Pro-Republican Super PAC America Rising is launching a fundraising effort today as their answer to the growing tide of support for Clinton. The PAC has a brand new site, StopHillary2016.org, a one-stop shop for Clinton haters.

And they’re blasting a series of e-mails to randomized groups of donors to solicit money for the cause.

One draws on the lessons learned by Mitt Romney’s failed presidential campaign. The PAC’s executive director, Matt Rhoades, had managed the Romney campaign in 2012. He writes in the new fundraising note, “President Obama started his reelection campaign on his first day in office. I saw firsthand how big of an advantage that four year head start gave him in 2012.”

He goes on, “We can’t allow that competitive advantage [to] occur again.”

The second begins by saying it’s no secret Clinton is preparing another bid and explains the organization “was formed to prevent Americans from ever having to see another Clinton in the White House or suffer through 12 years of Democrat rule.”

Ayotollahs are Shiite scholars in ethics, law and shariah law, and their word final not because it is infallible but infallible because it is final. And for those who failed to acknowledge that this bull market was produced by FED actions, rather than market fundamentals get a clue. The current ratio is running 1 to 21, whereas at a high point it was 1-30, that underlying assumption of fed action was the predicate. The precursor for this came last month when the 10 year T-Bill interest rate was raised a full 1/2% which shocked the market and bond portfolios. And then granting China direct access to our market, that was another wake up call, that the market failed to heed until now.

    ———————————————
When former spy Edward Snowden revealed to the world that the federal government is spying on most Americans, most Americans were surprised and unhappy. But half of official Washington yawned before it roared. Somehow the people in the government had a pretty good idea of what government spies are doing, and they more or less approve of it — but not all of them.

Politicians as diverse as Republican Speaker John Boehner and Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein called Snowden a traitor. So did former Vice President Dick Cheney, and President Obama said that for once Cheney’s words were music to his ears.

On the other hand, former Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich, Republican Sen. Rand Paul, my Fox News colleague Bill O’Reilly and I have all referred to Snowden as a hero.

When confronted with conflicting oaths, Edward Snowden opted for the higher good: fidelity to the supreme law of the land.

What did Snowden do that has those in power screaming for his scalp and those — generally — who fear the loss of liberty, including millions of young people, grateful for his courage?

The NSA is America’s domestic spying apparatus. Its budget is secret. It will soon occupy the largest federal building on the planet. It often hires outside contractors to do much of its work. One of those contractors is Booz Allen Hamilton. Booz Allen’s co-chair is former Admiral John M. McConnell, who once headed the NSA. When Snowden began his work for Booz Allen, he took two oaths. The first oath was to keep secret the classified materials to which he would be exposed in his work as a spy; the second oath was to uphold the Constitution.

Shortly after Snowden began his work with the NSA, he came to the realization that he could not comply with both oaths. He realized that by keeping secret what he learned, he was keeping the American public in the dark about what its government is doing outside the Constitution in order to control the public.

    What is it doing?

The government persuaded a federal judge with a perverse understanding of the values and history and language of the Constitution to sign a series of orders directing the largest telephone company in the U.S. and the largest Internet providers in the world to make available to the government’s prying eyes all sorts of information about nearly all of us, thus allowing the feds to monitor our use of land line and wireless phones, as well as our use of emails and texts.

    The numbers are staggering.

Verizon has greater than 113,000,000 U.S. customers who generate or receive more than one billion phone calls every day. Americans text and email one another using the services of Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, Facebook and others many billions of times every day.

The judge’s order was profoundly unconstitutional, as is the section of the Patriot Act that authorized it.

The Constitution requires that the government demonstrate to all judges being asked to sign search warrants specific evidence of criminal behavior contained in the things to be seized. And it requires that the warrants themselves particularly describe the places to be searched or the persons or things to be seized.

In this case, the things being seized consist of digital data about nearly everyone in America, which in the hands of a skilled spy can be used to monitor our physical movements and communications and, according to former CIA Director David Petraeus, to predict them.

The Patriot Act facilitates these dragnets by unconstitutionally reducing the standard for the issuance of search warrants. The president, who refuses to deny that his spies possess the content of our communications, claims they are not listening to it or reading it.

    Who would believe President Obama?

One of the spies who knew the power he and his fellow spies had and who had access to the innermost thoughts of hundreds of millions of us — and who disbelieved the president — was Edward Snowden.

Snowden realized the unconstitutional nature of what the government was doing and concluded that he could not be faithful to both of his oaths.

One of those oaths — to retain secrets — is grounded in a federal statute that requires secrecy and punishes the exposure of secrets.

The other oath is grounded in the Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land and protects the natural right to be left alone and does not punish the governmental violation of that right.

When confronted with the conflicting oaths, Snowden opted for the higher good: fidelity to the supreme law of the land.

Hence, in order to protect the privacy of us all, Snowden violated the lesser oath and upheld the greater one.

He could not serve two masters when the lesser of the two (fidelity to the government’s laws) facilitated a corruption of the greater of the two (the primacy to the Constitution).

He’s a traitor, the establishment roared. He’s a high school dropout. He left the Army. He admits to having lots of sex with his girlfriend. He fled to Hong Kong.

    Who cares?

He understands, as Ronald Reagan did, that if we don’t control the government, the government will control us.

That’s why the Washington establishment yawned when we learned what it knew and now roars because Snowden challenged it.

Those in power want to stay there and will misuse the Constitution to do so for as long as they can get away with it, no matter to which political party they belong. Any government that secretly spies on nearly all the population is aiming to control the population.

Snowden knew that this massive violation of the constitutionally guaranteed rights of nearly every American, orchestrated and operated in secrecy, is corrupting the Constitution and empowering the corruptors. It was that understanding plus a willingness to face down those in power who lack fidelity to the Constitution and who can do him harm that constituted the behavior of a hero.

    Is he flawed?

The only hero who was not flawed was nailed to a tree 2,000 years ago because those He came into the world to save rejected Him.

While NPR tries to portray the DUI problem as purely situational, the real issue is that in rural Mexican culture drinking-and-driving doesn’t have the same stigma it does here and in fact it’s considered part of machismo to always be able to handle your drink. Which means never admitting you’re too drunk to jump in your truck and drive home.

The end result is that illegal aliens are responsible for a wildly disproportional number of DUI arrests as well DUI-related crashes, hit-and-runs and fatalities. So much so that a special exception has been added to an already generous amnesty bill to keep widespread DUI arrests from gumming up the illegals’ legalization process.

Now given all this you might think that MADD would be protesting the bill’s DUI exception since they’re supposed to be against drunk drivers. But of course not. Which tells you what kind of organization they’ve morphed into over the years and where their real priorities lie.

Lawyers eye NSA data as treasure trove for evidence in murder, divorce cases
By Bob Sullivan, Columnist, NBC News
The National Security Agency has spent years demanding that companies turn over their data. Now, the spy agency finds the shoe is on the other foot. A defendant in a Florida murder trial says telephone records collected by the NSA as part of its surveillance programs hold evidence that would help prove his innocence, and his lawyer has demanded that prosecutors produce those records. On Wednesday, the federal government filed a motion saying it would refuse, citing national security. But experts say the novel legal argument could encourage other lawyers to fight for access to the newly disclosed NSA surveillance database.
“What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, I guess,” said George Washington University privacy law expert Dan Solove. “In a way, it’s kind of ironic.”

  84. I’ve mentioned first term US Rep Lou Barletta here a few times. I give him some money and sign up for things. And so earlier tonight, I found myself listening to this:
Rep. Lou Barletta to Host National Discussion on Illegal Immigration
“A proposal of amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants will not make our country safer, will not make Washington spend less, and will not help anyone find a job. In fact, it will make each of these issues worse,” said Barletta. He continued, “It is important that the American people have all the facts about granting amnesty to millions of people in this country illegally. They deserve to know what this will do to their employment prospects, national security, and government spending. I hope to add to this discussion by inviting everyone across the nation to this free tele-town hall.”
    http://www.loubarletta.com/news/barletta-to-host-national-tele-town-hall-on-illegal-immigration

One of the revelations is this: with the gang of 8 plan, it could be Big Sis who determines when border is secure.

When Lou fought egregious immigration practices as mayor of Hazleton, he thought he stood alone. Stated tonight that now he knows millions of Americans are standing with him.

  85. Gonzo–there is still hope that we can kill this rattle snake . . .

“voting for the Corker-Hoeven amendment is like voting for the bill as it currently written. “A vote for Corker-Hoeven is a vote for insecure borders, more criminal aliens and another amnesty in a decade or two”.(Comment: By the way, I looked up this Hoeven character. Talk about a lightweight—lets just say, they don’t come any lighter than this jamoke. He must have taken Byron Dorgen’s seat in the Senate.

“with the revelation that the Corker-Hoeven amendment was written with significant input from Gang of Eight members, particulary Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Bob Menendez (D-NJ), the future of the Corker-Hoeven amendment, and the bill, seems to be in limbo.”

It is like this damned O’Reilly (just looking out for the folks), or Rubio: they tell us that the decision here is binary: the status quo vs.the gang of 8 proposal. In fact, there are many different options which do not make the current situation worse, like the gang of 8 proposal does, and those are what Congress ought to be exploring, consistent with that excellent admonition: first, do no harm.

I am through making political contributions to anyone. But for Ted Cruz I will make an exception.

    ———————-

Sources: Corker-Hoeven Amendment Last Ditch Effort to Save Immigration Bill

Senate staffers from three different offices have suggested to Breitbart News that the fig leaf amendment to the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill from Sens. Bob Corker (R-TN) and John Hoeven (R-ND) is a last ditch effort by the Gang of Eight and Senate Democrats to save the bill.

“The bill can’t pass as it’s currently written,” one GOP aide told Breitbart News. “They can’t get 60 votes as it’s currently written. The bill has to be amended with not only stronger border security measures but should also include verification that progress is being made on the border before the legalization process begins.”

“If Corker-Hoeven doesn’t pass, then the most likely scenario is that the bill can’t pass,” the source claimed.

Another GOP aide added that the Corker-Hoeven amendment is crucial to the Gang of Eight efforts, even if it does not solve the border security concerns raised by those in opposition to the bill.

“Clearly the Corker-Hoeven amendment is the key for the Gang of Eight to get their bill across the finish line,” that aide said. “I think initially people thought the Cornyn amendment would be the amendment that would give this bill the aura of having border security to help it pass. It would be considered Cornyn-lite.”

A third GOP aide claimed that voting for the Corker-Hoeven amendment is like voting for the bill as it currently written. “A vote for Corker-Hoeven is a vote for insecure borders, more criminal aliens and another amnesty in a decade or two,” that aide explained.

There are reports swirling that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is rushing to pass the bill and may table or kill all amendments other than the Corker-Hoeven proposal. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) also noted during a press conference Thursday afternoon that this all appears to be game-playing by Senate leadership.

“Washington is very, very good at Kabuki theater,” Cruz said.

A great many things in this town are stage-managed. From the outset, in my opinion, it was clear that the managers of this bill were going to, near the end of the Senate process, allow an amendment that would at least purport to increase border security, that would be a fig leaf and allow everyone to say “Hosanna! Hosanna! The border has been secured! Now let’s all come on board with this gigantic bill.”

Cruz added that “seeing an amendment today that does that is no surprise to anyone who’s been watching this process unfold.”

But while the Senate Democrat leaders have been playing games, opposition to the bill has been surging. More and more members of the Senate and the House come out against it every week. The Hill’s Alex Bolton reported on Wednesday night that the Gang of Eight and its supporters are bleeding Republican votes they thought they would have for the bill.

While the bill’s fate still remains unclear, next week is going to be a big fight from all sides, especially as the momentum shifts. And with the revelation that the Corker-Hoeven amendment was written with significant input from Gang of Eight members, particulary Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Bob Menendez (D-NJ), the future of the Corker-Hoeven amendment, and the bill, seems to be in limbo.

    Good to know!

  87. I probably will donate to Cruz too. I might also work on his campaign if he holds true. You know, give a man a little power and see what his character really is. We saw what happened to Rubio, my guess is that Romney saw that…but them Ryan has alot of RINO in him also. WI is a hard place to be a true conservative. I believe he is fiscally conservative and socially, not so much. But he and Rubio are supporting this bag of sh0T and that is VERY telling.

Very telling that anyone would sell American citizenship for not only absolutely nothing, but to criminals.

Dang Spurs. Jesus help me, I can not stand Miami and their little Pasha.

    That explained everything.

You are right. I was thinking of Glass-Steegal. Bill did express regret over repealing that important protection for consumers. If that law had been in place–and it was pushed heavily by Republicans like Jim Leach (R-Ia) then the market crash of 2008 which enabled Obama to loot taxpayers never would have happened.

  90. Coburn rails about pennies wasted by an agency, and promotes trillions which will be wasted on the Gang of 8 proposal he co-authored. He has no standing to complain about waste. He needs to just pack it in. He is not helping the country, goes only for soft targets, and this little side show should impress no one. He is like the gunfighter who makes his reputation dispatching drunks, or the prosecutor who takes only winning cases. To hell with his attacks on that agency, they are utterly meaningless.

  91. George Will has a title to his latest column similar to ours:

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/george-f-will-obama-hits-a-wall-in-berlin/2013/06/20/bfff0426-d9df-11e2-a016-92547bf094cc_story.html

Obama hits a wall in Berlin

The question of whether Barack Obama’s second term will be a failure was answered in the affirmative before his Berlin debacle, which has recast the question, which now is: Will this term be silly, even scary in its detachment from reality?

Before Berlin, Obama set his steep downward trajectory by squandering the most precious post-election months on gun-control futilities and by a subsequent storm of scandals that have made his unvarying project — ever bigger, more expansive, more intrusive and more coercive government — more repulsive. Then came Wednesday’s pratfall in Berlin.

There he vowed energetic measures against global warming (“the global threat of our time”). The 16-year pause of this warming was not predicted by, and is not explained by, the climate models for which, in his strange understanding of respect for science, he has forsworn skepticism.

Regarding another threat, he spoke an almost meaningless sentence that is an exquisite example of why his rhetoric cannot withstand close reading: “We may strike blows against terrorist networks, but if we ignore the instability and intolerance that fuels extremism, our own freedom will eventually be endangered.” So, “instability and intolerance” are to blame for terrorism? Instability where? Intolerance of what by whom “fuels” terrorists? Terrorism is a tactic of destabilization. Intolerance is, for terrorists, a virtue. [snip]

Were Obama given to saying such stuff off the cuff, this would be a good reason for handcuffing him to a teleprompter. But, amazingly, such stuff is put on his teleprompter and, even more amazing, he reads it aloud.

Neither the people who wrote those words nor he who spoke them can be taken seriously. North Korea and Iran may be seeking nuclear weapons? North Korea may have such weapons. Evidently Obama still entertains doubts that Iran is seeking them.

In Northern Ireland before going to Berlin, Obama sat next to Putin, whose demeanor and body language when he is in Obama’s presence radiate disdain. There Obama said: “With respect to Syria, we do have differing perspectives on the problem, but we share an interest in reducing the violence.” Differing perspectives?

Obama wants to reduce the violence by coaxing Syria’s Bashar al-Assad, who is winning the war, to attend a conference at which he negotiates the surrender of his power. Putin wants to reduce the violence by helping — with lavish materiel assistance and by preventing diplomacy that interferes — Assad complete the destruction of his enemies.

Napoleon said: “If you start to take Vienna — take Vienna.” Douglas MacArthur said that all military disasters can be explained by two words: “Too late.” Regarding Syria, Obama is tentative and, if he insists on the folly of intervening, tardy. He is giving Putin a golden opportunity to humiliate the nation responsible for the “catastrophe.” In a contest between a dilettante and a dictator, bet on the latter.

Obama’s vanity is a wonder of the world that never loses its power to astonish, but really: Is everyone in his orbit too lost in raptures of admiration to warn him against delivering a speech soggy with banalities and bromides in a city that remembers John Kennedy’s “Ich bin ein Berliner” and Ronald Reagan’s “Tear down this wall”? With German Chancellor Angela Merkel sitting nearby, Obama began his Berlin speech: “As I’ve said, Angela and I don’t exactly look like previous German and American leaders.” He has indeed said that, too, before, at least about himself. It was mildly amusing in Berlin in 2008, but hardly a Noel Coward-like witticism worth recycling.

His look is just not that interesting. And after being pointless in Berlin, neither is he, other than for the surrealism of his second term.

George Will saw what we saw. We had a good giggle over the phrases we highlighted in Will’s column. George Will used to get invited to dinner with Barack. That might explain why he almost matches us in the level of contempt we have developed for Barack the Boob.

  94. NSA Secret Warrantless Spying Rules Revealed

The Guardian has done it once again, this time presenting two July 2009 documents signed by none other than Eric Holder which lay out under what conditions the NSA is allowed to make use of information “inadvertently” collected from domestic US communications without a warrant. The documents detail the procedures the NSA is required to follow to target “non-US persons” under its foreign intelligence powers and what the agency does to minimize data collected on US citizens and residents in the course of that surveillance. “The documents show that even under authorities governing the collection of foreign intelligence from foreign targets, US communications can still be collected, retained and used.”

To the NSA’s credit, the disclosure shows that data collected on US persons under the foreign intelligence authority must be destroyed, and the extensive steps analysts must take to try to check targets are outside the US, and reveals how US call records are used to help remove US citizens and residents from data collection. The problems are when one sees the cornucopia of FISA court-approved loopholes that can be exploited.

  95. There are certain lines that resonate, because they explain the meaning of life:

    1. “Its all bullshit”–which was used rather frequently by the president of a Fortune 300 company to counter every rational argument that took more than 15 seconds to explain. Ninety percent of the time, he was right. The 10% he was not right killed that company.

    2. “Nothing matters”–no this is not Ivan Illich in the short story by Dostoevsky commenting on the meaning of life, it was Sammy Goldwin (or Louie B. Mayer) commenting on the same subject at or near the end, after Thalberg was gone, he was dying and Selznik had everything.

    3. “All disasters can be explained in two words: too late” spoken by the man who discounted reports that the Chicons were coming and when they did wanted to answer with a nuke. My deepest fear is that after what the Obama cabal has done to this country, Obamacare and Immigration Deform, the same can be said of the United States. Of course, no one who aspires to political power will tell you that, but they all have a motive to sugar coat a deteriorating situation when it really is too late.

Years ago I was riding in a taxi from mid-town and LaGuardia. The driver was a native New Yorker. He commented on how he had lived in the city all his life, and saw how so many places he went in is youth had become unaffordable for anyone but the super rich. He said it all started when an unscrupulous democrat politician brought in tens of thousands of people from Puerto Rico so they would vote for him. Judging by his age, this was would have been during the depression, which was slightly after the Jimmy Walker era, he being the last artifact of Tammany Hall. But old ways die hard as we see with lard ass Schumer.

  96. When it comes to politics, there are two things which are the mark of a rube. At various times we are all susceptible to them. One is to confuse style–the outward appearance of empathy and purpose with the substance which is how they will handle power if it is given to them. I can think of no better example of this widely held delusion than Marco Rubio. The other thing is to confuse the government with the nation. The party in power always strives to conflate the two to insulate themselves from criticism, and their supporters who are keen to invoke principle while the other party is in power, but equally willing to abandon principle when their own surrogate is in power. It shows that their alleged principles are simply a convenient disguise for the blind pursuit of power. Our business is not to speculate on what the future will bring, but to be certain that it will bring disaster unless the ruling class faces the facts and consents to do its duty to the country, instead of pursing a policies which destroy the political and economic power of the middle class. The game they are playing now is akin to the tragedy of the commons, by which they exploit common resources for personal gain and leave the rest of us holding the bag. Ultimately, it becomes the game that ruins nations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tragedy_of_the_commons

I am trying hta, but without much success. Yesterday, was better. I did send a copy of what I posted here to Rubio along with a personal note expressing deep disappointment in what he is doing to the nation–just another party first nation second politician, as we see so often in the democrat party. I tried to reach Kirk because pjmedia intimated that he is folding, but he has shut off his phones. When I do reach him, I will point out that the public knows full well that the corker amendment does not provide border security. As for O’Reilly, I think we know all we need to know all we need to know about him, and any pejorative adjectives we might be tempted to ascribe to him after last night’s exigesis while true, would be mere surplussage. Oh shucks, just one more: he is a RINO, which is to say, a fraud. It is a disease that afflicts those who remain in Washington too long, by dint of which their perspective changes from representing the American People to serving the interests of the special interests who control the town and allocate the money. God bless Pat Caddell for calling the game on this, because others will not do so. Generally speaking this transformation does not occur immediately, which is why the rapid descent of Marco Rubio into the spoils system has been remarkable and lends credence to the view that he was never what he pretended to be, and as much as I tout the fact that Obama never fooled me, I have to be honest and say this guy did. On the sad subject of how Beltway fever takes hold and destroys a politician I can think of no better example than Orin Hatch. You may not think much of him as he stands today, but there was a time forty years ago, when the most aggressive partisan could not walk in the same sun as him–I am thinking of the Common Situs Picketing Bill. Today, he comes across to me at least as an amiable dunce. Arguably too many years on the judiciary committee with the likes of Teddy Kennedy can do that to a man, but when that happens he should realize that he is no good any more and leave the table. But like the aging Hollywood actress, they never go away, and prevent the next generation from taking its turn at the helm.

    —————————-
Admin: you are teasing us, perhaps, with a which came first, the chicken or the egg conundrum? Did Obama stop inviting Will to dinner because he started criticizing Obama or did Will start criticizing Obama because Obama stopped inviting him to dinner.

For five years, we have been at war with Obama. There is some satisfaction in seeing him morph from a political figure who accorded God like status, to one who people are now permitted to criticize without being labelled a racist.

But seeing him fall from grace has not given me as much satisfaction as I believed it would, and it would be a mistake even now to write him off, because he while he cannot lead, he can certainly destroy, like a dying star.

Chief Judge Learned Hand once observed that the kingdom of God will not be at hand when the last king is strangled or the last leader of the Kremlin meets his well deserved end. And that is manifestly true here.

The problem we are left with, then, is more fundamental than the specific foibles and perverse ambitions of this false prophets like Obama, or Rubio. Frankly, I cannot help putting the two of them in the same category, and I am convinced that time will prove me right.

It is the nature of this political system that will be here long after Obama leaves office. In the past, there were reform movements which reboxed the compass and prevented the elites from overreach. The Jackson Administration being the best example, and the Administration of La Guardia being a more recent one.

But with all the power that has been ceded to Washington DC in the past twenty years, and with the increased ability of the elites to monitor not only our words, but our behavior and hence our thoughts, the message to the people has to be something like this:

Reform this government or succumb to serfdom. That problem is now here at our doorstep, and few people besides Ted Cruz are committed to doing much about it. Everyone agrees the system is broken, but nobody wants to fix it. Just ride it out they say, and plunder it wherever you can.

That is the existential challenge we face as a people. I hope Hillary has some answers. For Marco the answer is lies, smoke and mirrors.

  100. Shadow,

“After all, she’s nice enough…” Good one!

I’m with you on Hillary starting her own party. I think a viable third party is very much needed, anyway. People are beginning to see the Dems and Pubs for what they really are – pretty much identical, in a lot of ways. Through collusion and duplicity, they exert a lot of control, and work things out to their own political and financial advantage, greatly reducing the power of the vote and the voter.

I love his framing of Matt Lauer’s characterization of Deen as racist, as Matt’s “desperate bid for relevance”

I don’t know all of the details of the recent hoopla about Deen, and certainly had no idea it was from several decades back – if that’s accurate. Hell, I doubt any of us would want to be held accountable today for our behavior and/or beliefs as teens or young adults. Growth, development, education, and experience change and shape people as they live their lives – usually for the better. That’s just a fact of human development, to which Matt, believe it or not, is also subject – just as the rest of us mere mortals are.

Witch Hunt Against the Butter Lady: State Media Declares Paula Deen A “Ray Ciss” (meanwhile ignoring all of Oprah Winfrey’s longstanding racism)
Posted on June 21, 2013 by Kevin DuJan // Breaking News, Featured Content

No doubt, you’re aware that this morning in a desperate bid for relevance Matt Lauer on The Today Show is calling “the butter lady” Paula Deen a “Ray Ciss” because, allegedly, 40 or 50 years ago she said the word “nigger” out loud. Today marks the day when I’ve officially had enough of people behaving like we live in the magical world of Harry Potter and “nigger” is “the word that shall not be said” or “the n-word”. It is an ugly, ignorant, and vile word…but it’s just a word and not some magical spell that does unspeakable harm to the superstitious or easily-excitable. No one alive in the year 2013 should call anyone “nigger”, “fag”, “cunt”, “kike”, “whitey”, “chink”, “beaner”, or other ethnic, gender, or personal slurs…but it’s asinine to dance around these terms when The Today Show’s attacking a tee-vee cooking show host with one of them.

Haven’t you had enough of the State Media deciding today’s the day when it’s going to come after some random, famous white person and screech “She used the word nigger…fifty years ago!”. Is today the day you’re not going to take this garbage anymore?

I refer you to Alinsky Rule #4…which is “to make the enemy live up to its own book of rules”…and ask that today you encourage conservatives to stop doing the same things in situations like this while expecting different results. The institutional Left today is ginning up racial hatred by way of its sock puppets at The Today Show; the timing on this is curious since Barack Obama just ginned up religious hatred of Catholics a few days ago. All of this is happening while the “Gang of Ocho” is trying to ram through an amnesty bill in Congress that will create tens of millions of new Democrat voters while taking even more jobs away from actual American citizens and costing taxpayers billions in new welfare benefits.

If you don’t think all of these events are related and are in fact planned by the Democrat Party, you’re not paying attention.

Today, why aren’t we talking about black people who are extremely racist and subscribe to black supremacy? I cite one classic example for you: the virulent racist Oprah Winfrey, who during her long career in Chicago treated all white people she came in contact with like subhumans. This is a woman who has made a point to only donate money to organizations that exclusively benefit black people (such as that school in Africa she started where young girls were raped…and more recently the $12 million she gave to build the Black People’s Museum addition to the Smithsonian in Washington). The first politician that Winfrey ever supported was Barack Obama…because his skin color was similar to her own and she decided she needed to see this man elected president because of that.

I don’t know of a more clear example of racism than that.

Certainly it’s more relevant, damaging, and current than “the butter lady” using the word “nigger” in casual conversation in the deep south FORTY OR FIFTY YEARS AGO when, incidentally, black people themselves used that word. Come to think of it, black rappers use that word all the time. Black athletes throw it around the basketball court and in the football and baseball locker rooms too. It’s treated as a term of endearment by the State Media when one black person says it to another…but it’s still the same word that The Today Show is in hysterics over this morning because “the butter lady” said it.

Aren’t you tired of this absurdity?

Wherever you see anyone bashing “the butter lady” today anywhere on the Interwebz you need to chime in with a few things of your own:

    * Why is this word okay for rappers and athletes to use?

    * Let’s talk about black supremacists like Oprah Winfrey

    * Isn’t it strange this racial controversy is ginned up right when Democrats are taking anger from black people because the amnesty bill pushed by the “Gang of Ocho” will hurt blacks the most in terms of jobs and the loss of welfare benefits

That’s what this attack on Paula Deen is really about folks. Leftists in the State Media sat around and tried to think of something to upset black people today and cause conservatives to go scurrying for cover (lest they be called “Ray Ciss” today too). Stumped, the only thing race related they could thunk up was to have Matt Lauer go on about “the butter lady” using the word “nigger” while living in the deep South in the 1960s and 1970s.

This sick game will probably work, too, because the “black community” has been so well-trained by Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Henry Gates to stop paying attention to anything important at all the moment the race whistle is blown. Meanwhile, while this manufactured “scandal” percolates and ultimately saturates the news cycle the “Gang of Ocho” will be able to permanently damage the country and install an everlasting Democrat electoral majority…while Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain (three of Democrats’ favorite Republicans) help.

Democrats want to flood voter rolls with Mexican peasants because:

    * they speak little to no English and refuse to learn, which makes them easier to control because Democrats can lie to them in Spanish via La Raza

    * Mexican peasants have no respect for US laws and are used to how government works in Mexico (a failed state)…so they won’t care much if Democrats make America more like Mexico

    * these newly-minted Democrat voters aren’t immigrants so much as they are colonists…with Mexico being a new colonial power in the world, sending its unwanted and uneducated burdens north so that they can resettle and make demands on the United States that are beneficial to Mexico. Start paying attention to how often the President of Mexico (whoever that is this week) rants and raves about the US needing to take more Mexican peasants off his hands…so that American taxpayers can pay for these moochers (or, are they “moochachos”) and provide them with free healthcare, food, living places, and all sorts of other benefits

    * the more unskilled and uneducated Mexicans that are imported into the US the more American culture is first diluted and then ultimately replaced by a more Mexican mindset that is accustomed to the sort of political system that the institutional Left desires

The end game is to change the electorate enough so that Democrats gain permanent locks on national offices (and a super-majority of state legislatures) and the institutional Left then has the ability to change the Constitution however it pleases. La Raza constantly tells the Mexican criminals already living here and flaunting our immigration process that the American Constitution is “too old and out of date” and was written for “a smaller country”. The institutional Left dreams of transforming the United States into a socialist country where high-ranking Democrats will be the favored elite and everyone else will be serfs to the federal government. The mission is to lower the American standard of living and decrease our national wealth until we are essentially on par with Mexico itself.

Black people see this…and they don’t like it. I’d love to say they don’t like it because they are patriots and don’t want to see America ruined in this way…but they are more upset about the moochachos taking jobs that normally go to blacks (like Postal Workers, city and county workers, union patronage positions, etc.) and eating up all the welfare benefits that have been dwindling since Democrats started bankrupting the country in 2008.

Matt Lauer and the Today Show were thus used to run some interference and distract blacks, by giving them a rich white female “Ray Ciss” to hate on for a while. Smelling red meat, no doubt the Justice Brothers of Jackson/Sharpton/Gates will find other ways to expand this…and by next week a whole host of new “Ray Ciss” individuals will be witch-hunted into public view. That should give Rubio/Graham/McCain enough cover to do what Democrats are blackmailing them into doing (because I swear these three men are indeed being blackmailed with something unique to each one of them…as that is the only explanation for why the three of them forever do things that will directly harm our country, just so Democrats can crow about these measures being “bipartisan”; “bipolar” is more like it if they aren’t being blackmailed).

Democrats want to talk about Paula Deen being “Ray Ciss” today…but I want to talk about Oprah Winfrey being an enormous racist in all applications of the word “enormous”. Whatever the institutional Left and the State Media is up to each day, let’s endeavor to shift the debate to the opposite. Don’t let these people help the Obama Regime by allowing them to create a distraction stage right so that they can accomplish something underhanded over on stage left.

    That’s Racist GIF

    Say what? “That’s racist”?

No, it’s not “racist”. You’re “Ray Ciss”…so grow up and tell the Justice Brothers they need to find a new catchphrase and livelihood.

    Thanks for your comment.

Permit me to disagree to this extent.

I think our country is at a point where must hold our politicians accountable

And to me that means we must to set a high bar.

I think the failure to do so in the past is what gave us Obama.

I am loathe to repeat that mistake for any politician.

I do think that the country is more suspicious of the Washington establishment than ever before.

That means any politician who is identified with the establishment must satisfy a higher duty of care.

If you look at how society, the supreme court decisions, etc. evolve over time–and not necessarily for the better one point stands out.

The zeitgeist or spirit of the time defines the political parameters.

Which is why I say that Hillary must face the fact that she will not be judged by the same lax standards as Obama.

There will be a renewed emphasis on qualifications the next time around, and the Republicans will drive it, but it plays into the zeigeist.

Voters who were causal about this eight years, will use this as their way of the hook.

I am just reporting what I see. I am not trying to define what others may think about this.

  106. The other thing that is clear is you have to anticipate what the other side will say, and deal with their argument. To be an outsider at this point, is to have a largely unblemished record. To be an insider, and to be well published on your views opens you up for vigorous attacks. Judge Bork is a prime example of this, and the dangers of a mind that is so brilliant that it permits itself to venture beyond the self serving parameters of elite opinion in this country is to be vulnerable. The thing about Bork which nobody on either side of the aisle truly appreciated, is he could have turned out to be a great liberal on the court, because his mind was never constrained by conventional thinking. And for those who feel that is contrary to what we want to see in judges, I give you exhibit 1–Justice Holmes, who did much to advance the cause of civilization against the prevailing dogmas of his day.

  107. The counter example is Souter who Bush appointed to the court because he had no record to speak of, hence nothing for the other side to attack. The stealth candidate is what they called him. Well, past is prologue. When he ascended to the Court, he became the same kind of jurist he had been all his life. His tenancy on the court was crowned with no conspicuous success, and can be most charitably described as uneventful.

  108. There is something mentally unbalanced about McCain. It has been known to happen to federal judges who sit on the court for two long: they manifest a toxic combination of anger, senility and megalomania. McCain still fancies himself as the leader of the party which he was for one brief moment eight years ago. I have got to believe that light in the loafers Lindsay and Kelly see the problem. Marco, who is part of the same cabal probably does too. But they try not to let on. It is so obvious to me and other outsiders–the man is mad as a hatter and he says the dumbest of things/

  109. foxyladi 14: yes, an example of leading from behind. As more facts such as this come out, one wonders whether it provides a wake up call to wavering Republicans as to who will claim the credit if this abortion goes through. Is that what it takes to convince them that this is a suckers bet. If so, what makes them think that their constituents will continue to elect suckers?

  110. I think the message to waivering Republican Senators has to be this:

    1. Don’t let deal heat cloud your judgment.

    2. The gang of 8 bill will be bad for the country, bad for the party and bad for you.

    3. The White House is orchestrating the bill and the corker amendment from behind the scenes.

    4. This is Obamacare redux. There are better ways than this to solve the immigration issue.

The problem we are left with… is more fundamental than the specific foibles and perverse ambitions of this false prophets like Obama, or Rubio. Frankly, I cannot help putting the two of them in the same category, and I am convinced that time will prove me right….
…few people besides Ted Cruz are committed to doing much about it….
That is the existential challenge we face as a people. I hope Hillary has some answers. For Marco the answer is lies, smoke and mirrors.

I’m glad to see we are now on the same page as concerns Marco Rubio. I once put Rubio on a par with Me-Shell Obama and you skewered me for being an Obama shill. No way.

Difference: I have more faith in Hillary than you seem to have. Does she have answers? I would say it is more a matter of character and attitude, as in the cases of Jackson and La Guardia that you cite.

The bar for O not only did not require answers, but few ideas. I don’t see why the bar for Hillary has to be so much higher.

Well said, that’s exactly what I meant above.

You know I respect you. But rather than setting such a high standard for Hillary, and stating I hope she has some answers, lets just say I hope she has some ideas.

I personally hold high standards for Hillary because she is worthy of that bar. I think Hillary is the whole package: brains, hardworking, knowledgeable in multiple areas and she thinks for herself.

She sets her goal as high as she can possibly reach, and darn if she doesn’t try her best to get there. Universal Healthcare, worked her buns off on that one, with Republican arrows aimed at her head though all of it. She is even hated because she was “only a First Lady” and should have been dusting and painting the WH instead.

Hillary never gives up and I am all for treating her with respect and fairness. I don’t want her to ruin her health from pushing herself too hard, but I also don’t see Hillary sitting around watching soap operas either.

    Run Hillary, run!!!

We have a higher bar here at Hillaryis44, and women in general, have had to do the splits while cooking, cleaning and be doctoral leveled in education to be considered as dog catcher!

  115. I’m sorry to interject this comment into such a serious, studied, and well-thought out discussion, but if my just say…

IF ANYONE HERE GIVES A SHIT WHAT KIM KARDASHIAN AND KANYE WEST NAMED THEIR BABY, YOU CAN GET ALL OF THE DETAILS AT YAHOO.COM.

This trending headline – for 2 or 3 days now, and accompanying pic of the happy – make that attention seeking – couple are really getting tiresome. Apparently, this is something hundreds of thousands of Yahoo users are quite interested in – which is sad and scary.

  116. I have more faith in Hillary than you seem to have. Does she have answers? I would say it is more a matter of character and attitude, as in the cases of Jackson and La Guardia that you cite.
    ——————————
The faith I have in Hillary today is not the faith I had in her in 2008. The body of evidence that was most persuasive to me at that time was her tenure as Senator, where she passed more legislation than any senator in history, and did a stellar job in servicing her constituents, as well as the American People. It was also the Hillary I saw in the campaign when I followed her as a volunteer in five states (including my own). Finally, it was the pride I felt in supporting her and watching her wup Obama’s ass in 24 of the 26 debates for which she received no credit at the time. I supported her unconditionally until she conceded at the convention. But now we have additional evidence to consider which is mixed. I never bought the crap about the greatest SOS in history because there were no great achievements to support it. On the other hand, we are in a transition period in terms of foreign policy and so it is unfair to judge her by that criterion. Acheson for example accomplished far more, but he was sos at the pinnacle of American power, whereas today under Obama our power is in decline. The Benghazi thing threw me for a loop, and I know I am not alone. The opposition will claim that this demonstrated a profound lack of executive leadership, but that leaves open the question whether faced with the same incentives and constraints those bozos would have done any better. I will reserve final judgment on that matter for now. This prostitution business to me is as immaterial as Coburn railing against government waste when he himself is the real source of that. The best reason I can think of to support Hillary is that she will be the last politician in the world to end social security and there is much to be said for that. I do think she is a Roosevelt liberal and that is different from Obama. But the greatest challenge we face as a country is how to clean up the swamp, and that is well nigh impossible for any insider to do. Given where the country is now, that is the biggest challenge, and if I were part of her campaign that is one of the questions I would be trying to answer. You cannot count on the country at large to make the subtle distinctions we do here. Our politics is defined by what can be reduced to a bumper sticker. Not at all what the framers intended.

  117. Nancy “I’m not really dead – its just the lighting!” Pelosi does her best to foster non-partisanship and reaches across the aisle….

  118. I’ll leave the rest of the discussion between you bros, but have to butt in on this line wbb:

“But the greatest challenge we face as a country is how to clean up the swamp, and that is well nigh impossible for any insider to do.”

I disagree when the ‘insider is Hillary”. The Clinton’s may be the real leaders of the Dem Party these days, but they have been on the outside of the elites in their party since they were first in politics.

As far as cleaning up the swamp, they are just enough ‘inside’ to get the support and just smart enough to work with both parties to get-er-done.

There is no one I believe is better suited for the job than Hillary, the work horse. Then again, will she even want the job of cleaning up Barry’s diaper or not?

That is fine. I hope you are right. But the system we have is so rife with corruption at all levels, that the political imperative must be to clean out the swamp. The Catholic Church had a similar problem during the late Middle Ages. Erasmus was the insider who tried to change the Church from within, and could not get it done. Martin Luther was the one who claimed it could not be done, and chose the external route of separation. In my prior comments, I have been clear that this is the position which the Republican Party is in, and I think the only answer is for the libertarian and grass roots wing to find a new political home. The RINOs will never give up power to the American People, and there are irreconcilable differences between their Washington centered interests and those of the country. It is a marriage which is falling apart before our eyes, and we will see this more clearly in 2016, when the RINOS appoint Rubio and the grass roots stay home. Good fucking luck with that one Rove, you have finally managed to outsmart yourself. I think Hillary will win the presidency, for the reasons stated, but I am less sure that she will make much of a dent in the issue that troubles me most. What we need is a new reform movement, but as things stand it is highly unlikely that we will get one. The duopoly we have now militates against it, and throughout our history third parties have not had much success.

  120. It’s all a charade. You are being manipulated by a group that has nothing to do with conservatism, Americans for a Conservative Direction. The conservative part is window dressing, via Business Insider, Mark Zuckerberg’s Sneaky Trick To Get Conservatives To Back Immigration Reform:

It’s been less than two weeks since Mark Zuckerberg launched his new immigration lobbying group, but the Facebook CEO seems to have already gotten the hang of the political game.

Politico’s Alexander Burns reports that Zuckerberg’s new organization, FWD.us, is launching its first wave of television ads this week, under the auspices of a new subsidiary, Americans for a Conservative Direction, formed specifically to woo conservatives.

According to Burns, Zuckerberg has also brought on a fancy board of advisors to run Fwd.us’ conservative wing, including former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, and longtime Bush aide Sally Bradshaw, Dan Senor, and Joel Kaplan.

From the liberal FactCheck.org, Zuckerberg-backed Group Spins Immigration:

A group with ties to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg hijacks the credibility of news organizations in a misleading ad that supports a bipartisan immigration overhaul bill. The ad, featuring Sen. Marco Rubio, attributes several quotes to media outlets, but the quotes come from opinion pieces written by backers of the immigration bill.

Rubio is shown talking about the bipartisan bill, which he and seven other senators — the so-called “Gang of Eight” — introduced on April 16. Periodically, quotes attributed to news organizations are shown on screen. Several quotes that support a conservative position are attributed to the Washington Post — “border security on steroids,” “bold” and “very conservative” — but those come from a conservative columnist’s opinion pieces, not, as the ad implies, the newspaper’s editorial board or straight news stories.

The group behind the ad, Americans for a Conservative Direction, is part of Zuckerberg’s FWD.us, a nonprofit group formed to back policies important to the technology sector, which the website identifies as “comprehensive immigration reform and education reform.”

  121. This is the same kind of duplicity that got us into the 1991 Iraq War–false front groups spreading lies, while big media sat still for it.
