Obama’s Government By Purposeful Disaster: Iran, Nukes, The Economy, Payroll Tax Cut, Social Security, Contraception, And Crony Capitalism Solyndra/LightSquared

It becomes increasingly impossible to question the notion that Barack Obama is purposefully destructive.

Consider: Nuclear Pakistan is unreliable and possibly a rogue state in the making; Iran wants a nuclear bomb no matter what and threatens to barbeque Israel; Russia and China are blocking the United States at every turn, most lately on Syria. The Obama response? Propose unilateral American reductions in nuclear weapon stockpiles to the level of China’s stockpiles.

Consider: The more the economy deteriorates the more Barack Obama profits politically. Americans forced in desperation from even bothering to look for jobs leads to a drop in the unemployment rate and Barack Obama smirks a clown smile and goes on yet another vacation.

Consider: Obama Dimocrats rejoice that Barack Obama has outmaneuvered Republicans on the payroll tax issue. Left unmentioned by the left Obama Dimocrats – the destruction of Social Security.

Consider: Barack Obama relied on the Catholic Bishops to pass his health scam. The treacherous Barack Obama betrayed MILLIONS of women and codified the Hyde Amendment into law in order to get the votes to pass his health scam. Barack Obama then goads the Catholic Bishops on an issue that will at most affect a few hundreds of women (if we accept the notion that this is about contraception not religious liberty), not the MILLIONS previously betrayed, and the Obama left along with some out-of-their-depths-analysts-we-all-know-so-well, shout Hosannas at Obama the great liberator of women.

Consider: Crony capitalism for Solyndra and millions in donations from Wall Street while Obama agitates on behalf of Occupy Wall Street.

It’s government by willful, purposeful, destruction of America for personal political profit – but it won’t work to save this corrupt clown from Chicago.

On each of these issues Barack Obama pretends to vote “present” or both “yes” and “no” in the HOPE that Americans are as stupid as he thinks they are. After all, Barack reasons, they did elect him so they really are stupid.

But reality, like justice, has its own wheel which grinds slowly but inexorably. On each issue Obama’s chickens are coming home – ready to poop.

On Obama’s nuclear weapons downgrade of America’s might: Americans know that America has too many nuclear weapons. But reductions in these stockpiles should be negotiated in order to bring down all the stockpiles of nuclear weapons. It makes no sense to propose unilateral nuclear reductions when Iran seeks nuclear weapons. It is a sign of weakness and a green light to trouble makers like Iran when they see the United States response to their nuclear armament program to be another variation of “no preconditions”. It is a purposeful disaster created by Barack Obama.

This nuclear reductions proposal is an Obama dog whistle to Iran and other rogue states – “do as you please, I’ll protect you.” But Obama can’t protect anybody from Israel and Israel is not stupid.

In 2009 when Barack Obama gave his much ballyhooed (by Big Media) speech to the “Muslim world” the real message was not the hideous speech which distorted history. The real message to the “Muslim world” was an American president going to the Middle East but snubbing Israel (Obama still has not visited Israel). The speech was bad enough but the real message was in the medium of the snub. Israel hating Arabs and however many Israel hating Muslims heard the Obama dog whistle to them.

Not content with the damage he purposefully caused in 2009, in 2011 Barack Obama launched another hateful speech which we denounced as a “Pearl Harbor” style attack against Israel. Now reports state that Obama will try to protect Iran from Israel at his meeting with Netanyahu on March 5. It won’t work. Israel will defend itself from Iran and from Barack Obama

[For background information on this story of the March 5 meeting, see our previous articles discussing Hillary Clinton and Netanyahu versus “Arabs’ lawyer” Barack Obama. As to Tom Donilon and his “caustic” conversations with Netanyahu, remember he is the thug assigned to take down Hillary Clinton and he is still angry that she ditched him when he was the assigned enforcer against her at the Munich Security Conference.]

Consider: The economy. We remember March of 2009 and the Big Media hyping of the economic wonders to come once Obama got his stimulus scam passed. We remember the “Glimmers of Hope” that were fools gold. We remember the “Recovery Summer” that wasn’t in 2010. We remember Joe Biden years ago saying with great pride that the economy was about to start producing 400,000 jobs a month and more. Didn’t happen.

About the only real good economic news has been the warm weather this “winter” which has provided a respite to beaten down Americans. But the weather was not Barack Obama’s doing unless you are one of those Hopium addicts that believes all that Barack does turns to gold.

The warm weather brought down expenses for many Americans and that has helped bring up the level of optimism. But much like a befuddled groundhog that unwittingly makes a false forecast and lifts up spirits for a day, this too shall pass. Already gas prices soar and Americans are once again getting sour on the economy.

The economy is in dire straits. This is your Obama recovery:

“But if you look a little further into the numbers, you see that the American job market is not better off than it was four years ago. Indeed, it’s a lot worse.

On Inauguration Day in 2009, when Barack Obama took office, the unemployment rate was 7.8 percent (up from 4.4% as recently as May of 2007). Notwithstanding his promises that Porkulus would cap unemployment at 8.5%, it soared to 10% in October of 2009, and didn’t dip down below 9% in any sustained way until last fall. Last month, after three years of Obama, it was at 8.3% – or .2% lower than where he said it’d never get above if we spent what he proposed.

That’s bad.

“But 8.3% is better than 10%, right?”

Sure – if all you’re doing is comparing numbers straight-up. But by itself, the unemployment rate is meaningless. It’s a percentage of people out of work – but who are those people? They are the ones that are participating in the labor market.

And fewer Americans than ever -ever! – are doing that! [snip]

The media is spinning nonstop about the “Obama recovery”. It’s vapor; in terms of percentage of the American workforce actually working, there is no recovery.

Are you better off than you were four years ago, America?

No – you’re doing two percent worse.”

Recovery Summer is still in relapse. The only thing that has happened is what we predicted: as the elections approach Big Media will trumpet anything that even remotely appears to be “good” and bury anything that can hurt their brass idol.

“But the rising polls for Obama!” shout the denizens of the Hopium dens. Sorry “creative class” boys, Barack Obama is less popular than George W. Bush after his eight years in office. That poll is from a Democratic leaning polling firm too. As to the Republicans who are waging ice-pick warfare against each other and getting everyone worried? The latest Rasmussen tracking poll shows Romney and Santorum within 2 points of Obama.

Consider: The payroll tax issue as described by Politico:

“Republicans freely acknowledge that the president outmaneuvered them on the payroll tax holiday last December — a fight that lasted into February — and his political dexterity during a recent contraception contretemps has left the GOP on the defensive on an issue that seemed to give them the upper hand just a week or so ago.”

But the payroll tax issue so praised by the hypocrite left and out of depth analysts is another example of purposeful destruction for short term political profit:

“Sen Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, just laid into the payroll tax deal stating his “vehement opposition” – and slammed Obama AND Biden, saying, “I’m dismayed that a Democrat – incl a Dem Pres and a Dem VP -are willing to sign a deal that will begin the unraveling of Social Security.”

He doesn’t like the revised/reformed unemployment benefits system — a tiered system that gives more to out-of-work Americans who live in states w/ high unemployment. Harkin, from a low-unemployment state, said, “If you’re unemployed, you’re unemployed.”

Grave warnings peppered the speech — including this: “I choose my words carefully. Make no mistake about it – American ppl – this is the beginning of the end of Social Security.”

We were right when we warned in 2007 about Obama and his hate of Social Security and old people (like his grandma). Seniors are not part of Obama’s “situation comedy” coalition.

Consider: Contraception/Abortion, the red flags. This election is not going to be about abortion nor contraception. Republicans know “it’s the economy, stupid.” This is more crazy making from Barack Obama. It’s a distraction to make people forget about his signing the Hyde Amendment onto his health scam and taking half a trillion dollars away from Medicare.

Consider: Crony capitalism. Yes, Mr. Kessler there really is a crony capitalist in the White House. Was it in 2007 that we began to ask questions about Obama purchases of biotech stocks? Stocks purchased along with some big Obama donors? Yup. 2007. But throughout the health care debate no one seemed to think that might matter.

Only now, in 2012, do we read articles about LightSquared and Obama donors. It’s an ugly story that reeks of crony capitalism. Crony capitalism is the problem. The problem is socialism for the rich and irresponsible who got a bailout when they placed their bets. The problem is scorched earth laissez-faire capitalism for the poor.

The crony capitalism practiced by Barack Obama is purposeful and for his own personal political profit, at the very least. It’s destructive of capitalism. We’re not surprised. Barack Obama is all about purposeful destruction.

  1. But reality, like justice, has its own wheel which grinds slowly but inexorably. On each issue Obama’s chickens are coming home – ready to poop.

That says it all Admin, so glad for your great post and a new thread.

  2. Associated Press:

“What Obama describes as the American Dream can seem a spare, fundamental aspiration, tailored for a campaign that looks to be fought over who is best equipped to safeguard the interests of middle-class Americans.

The question is whether it will convince, even as Mitt Romney and the other GOP presidential hopefuls mount a counter-argument that the president has made the American Dream harder, not easier, to achieve. And Obama must overcome the grinding realities many voters confront daily, even with the economy showing signs of life: no jobs, mortgages they can’t pay, dwindling retirement funds and college savings. [snip]

The goals can seem almost humdrum in comparison with some of the rhetoric from Obama’s 2008 White House campaign. But the message sounds made for the times, with the country emerging haltingly from recession, the income gap widening and unemployment stuck above 8 percent.

“He can’t run on change because he’s the incumbent, and he can’t paint too rosy a scenario because things aren’t that rosy,” said John Geer, professor of political science at Vanderbilt University. “He’s got to come up with a theme that appeals to voters, especially middle-class voters, alleviates their fears and gives them reason to believe the future will be better.”

The message also creates an implicit contrast with the portrait Democrats are trying to create of front-runner Romney as preoccupied with the concerns of the rich. But Romney is answering Obama’s message head-on, seeking a careful balance between sounding optimistic about the nation’s future and accusing Obama of destroying the American Dream.

“I’ve met Hispanic entrepreneurs who thought they had achieved the American Dream and are now seeing it disappear,” Romney said after his recent victory in Florida’s GOP primary. “We want to restore America to the founding principles that made this country great.”

GOP candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich also have accused Obama of tarnishing American opportunity, as Republicans make clear that no matter their nominee, Obama’s claim to be the one to restore the American Dream is sure to be challenged.”

  3. Unemployment in the U.S. rose to 9 percent in mid-February, up from 8.3 percent a month earlier, according to a new Gallup survey. The polling company said this suggests that it is “premature” to assume the economy will not feature prominently in the 2012 election season. (No $hit Sherlock.)

Sounds like seasonal Xmas hires that got shafted after the Holidays is what made lil’ Barry’s numbers seem better last month. Nothing new, but the media didn’t bother to mention it.

  4. Excellent article admin, and welcome back.

Obama is for Obama, he’s loyalty it first and foremost to Obama, his real religion is Barack Hussein Obama. He will always put his interests over American interests, he is after all a disciple of Rev. “God D*mn America” Wright. He deeply despises Israel and has deep disdain for “bitter clinging” Americans, as much I couldn’t stand Bush, he or Clinton did not have that elitist disdain for regular working joes and janes that OTurd does.

  5. admin

We don’t like having to agree with Newt, but he’s right…

Newt is great when he stays on point and talks like this.

Personal attacks and GOP infighting with other candidates weakens all that participate. It’s one thing to debate and another to fight like frat boys at a Kegger.

  6. I have quite a few ‘friends’ on my FB community based page. It is astounding how strong the Kool-Aid still is on the dark side. And the lies they are rampantly spreading about the Republicans in general are mind boggling. And the wild eyed enthusiasm they collectively have for the brass idol just bloggles the mind. Who are these idiots, where did they go to school, and why do they want to help destroy the country and why do they mindlessly worship the fools detroying it?

  7. I was glad to see that the younger generation was Newt’s audience in the video Admin published above. The world they will inherit is not going to look like the Norman Rockwell world we grew up in; I hope they are being prepared for it.

I was pleasantly surprised at reports that Ron Paul has a youth following; I had just assumed they would once again follow the piped piper this election. Further, I had hope that Paul would garner their trust and guide them toward wanting to save the country. Maybe that will happen even if he is not the nominee.

  8. oh my. So much for the american dream, from admin’s AP link:

“If you’re willing to put in the work, the idea is that you should be able to raise a family and own a home; not go bankrupt because you got sick, because you’ve got some health insurance that helps you deal with those difficult times; that you can send your kids to college; that you can put some money away for retirement,” Obama said recently in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

That’s all most people want,” he said. “Folks don’t have unrealistic ambitions. They do believe that if they work hard they should be able to achieve that small measure of an American Dream.”

just wow. Just getting by, that’s all the american dream is to these OTurd bozos.

  9. As we get older we sometimes begin to doubt our ability to “make a difference” in the world. It is at these times that our hopes are boosted by the remarkable achievements of other “seniors” who have found the courage to take on challenges that would make many of us wither.

Harold Schlumberg is such a person:

QUOTE FROM HAROLD: “I’ve often been asked, ‘What do you old folks do now that you’re retired?’ Well, I’m fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is converting beer, wine and vodka into urine. Then I p*ss on a photo of Obama! I do it every day and I really enjoy it.”

Harold is an inspiration to us all.

Who are these idiots, where did they go to school, and why do they want to help destroy the country and why do they mindlessly worship the fools detroying it?
I’ve ask that question every day for the last 4 years. I look at otherwise intelligent people from cultured backgrounds, supporting worthy causes, caring about one another, all conscientious good citizens … and utterly gullible, ridiculously ill-informed, worshipful of ideals yet ignorant of legislation destroying those ideals, supporting their greatest enemy! …they are sound-bite chanting lemmings marching joyfully to the abyss. What the hell is WRONG with them???

ADMIN, so glad to see you again! And in good form! Really would be lost without Big Pink. I don’t say much but I read EVERYthing EVERYday!

  11. Good to have you back Admin. Newt is such a smart man when he doesn’t let his ego get in the way. He speaks with passion and without a teleprompter.

  12. Good news for Newt, bad news for those that want him out or are against a brokered convention:

Sheldon Adelson plays as stubbornly in politics as he does in business. So the criticisms that he’s trying to personally buy the presidential election for Newt Gingrich are met with a roll of the eyes. “Those people are either jealous or professional critics,” Adelson tells me during his first interview since he and his wife began funneling $11 million, with another $10 million injection widely expected, into the former speaker’s super PAC, Winning Our Future. “They like to trash other people. It’s unfair that I’ve been treated unfair—but it doesn’t stop me. I might give $10 million or $100 million to Gingrich.

Adelson, the 78-year-old CEO of casino giant Las Vegas Sands, certainly can afford to: With a net worth of roughly $25 billion, that $11 million, which jolted Gingrich’s flatlining presidential bid back to life, equates to 0.044% of his fortune. For someone with a $1 million net worth, the equivalent would be $440, or a two-night stay at Adelson’s Venetian casino. Adelson could personally fund an entire presidential campaign—say, $1 billion or so—and not even notice.

Is that fair? “I’m against very wealthy people attempting to or influencing elections,” he shrugs. “But as long as it’s doable I’m going to do it. Because I know that guys like Soros have been doing it for years, if not decades. And they stay below the radar by creating a network of corporations to funnel their money. I have my own philosophy and I’m not ashamed of it. I gave the money because there is no other legal way to do it. I don’t want to go through ten different corporations to hide my name. I’m proud of what I do and I’m not looking to escape recognition.”

He’s also proud of his hawkish defense of Israel—his wife is Israeli and his young sons carry Israeli passports. Yet those who have categorized his patronage of Gingrich and other Republicans as a one-issue investment have it wrong. The man whose net worth, by Forbes’ calculations, has jumped more ($21.6 billion) during Obama Administration than any American — Mark Zuckerberg included — wants to take the president out for economic reasons.“What scares me is the continuation of the socialist-style economy we’ve been experiencing for almost four years. That scares me because the redistribution of wealth is the path to more socialism, and to more of the government controlling people’s lives. What scares me is the lack of accountability that people would prefer to experience, just let the government take care of everything and I’ll go fish or I won’t work, etc.”

“U.S. domestic politics is very important to me because I see that the things that made this country great are now being relegated into duplicating that which is making other countries less great. … I’m afraid of the trend where more and more people have the tendency to want to be given instead of wanting to give. People are less willing to share. There are fewer philanthropists being grown and there are greater expectations of the government. I believe that people will come to their senses and not extend the current Administration’s quest to socialize this country. It won’t be a socialist democracy because it won’t be a democracy.”

So with Gingrich looking increasingly unviable, does that mean he’ll throw his largess behind another candidate? “If Ron Paul is chosen I certainly wouldn’t do that.” What about front-runner Mitt Romney? “I don’t want to say. Newspapers said I had two meetings with Romney and Gingrich [on Feb. 3], which is untrue. Most of what is being said about me in this current brouhaha is just not true. I know Romney; I like him. I know Santorum; I like him. … The likelihood is that I’m going to be supportive of whoever the candidate is. I just haven’t decided that yet and will wait to see what happens.”

  13. I find it interesting the overt double standard of the Obot media. Santorum is socially conservative, repeatedly says, this is what I believe but I don’t wish to impose my values on others. Yet, OTurd is given a pass, he imposes his views on Catholic churches, of course his values are the same as the Obot LSM, so I guess that’s a-ok.

  14. oh goody. OTurd is set to give a speech at AIPAC, will he be advocating for the ’67 borders there? Does he think they have forgotten what OTurd proposed last year?

  15. Mrs Smith, I have an idea I would like to get your input on. Would you please email me at shortermerpuma@gmaildotcom?

  16. Welcome back Adm. and spot on as usual. Israel’s survival is a real inconvenience to Obama’s re-election plans. Therefore, better to have a theocracy hell bent on destroying Israel with a nuclear weapon than do the moral and correct thing and take out the reactors before it is too late. I can only imagine the behind the scene threats Netanyahu is receiving from this administration re an preemptive attack.

  17. Thank you Admin, otherwise I have a lot less to do.

Talked to my real estate, and property values in NM are going down still in 2012. He is saying at least 3 years before we see a recovery. So I just don’t see that we are coming out of this.

  18. Donald Trump said Tuesday he would “seriously, seriously” consider jumping into the White House race if Rick Santorum wins the Republican presidential nomination.

The real estate mogul and reality TV star told CNBC that he is a “free agent” after his “Apprentice” show finishes for the season on May 16.

“Honestly, if Santorum got it, I would seriously, seriously consider it. We need someone that’s really going to be great,” he said. “This is the most important election in my opinion that this country has ever had. Santorum is not the right person.”

Trump has endorsed Mitt Romney, and he said he hopes Romney will win the GOP nomination. But if Santorum gets the party’s nod, there is no way he can win the general election, Trump said.

Trump pointed out to CNBC that Santorum was trounced in 2006 when he ran for re-election as a U.S. senator from Pennsylvania.

“The people who knew him and the people who knew him best threw him out,” Trump told CNBC. “He flunked out of the Senate and now he wants to be president!”

  19. The guy is worth 25 billion but grew 21 billion in the last 3 years? I want some of that!

“categorized his patronage of Gingrich and other Republicans as a one-issue investment have it wrong. The man whose net worth, by Forbes’ calculations, has jumped more ($21.6 billion) during Obama Administration than any American — Mark Zuckerberg included — wants to take the president out for economic reasons”

  20. I like the Donald and all that but everything circles around his TV show and I want a full time President, not a reality star. He just needs to stop.

On another note, I found this on another blog, NQ…Just food for thought, if we can’t have Hillary**********************************************************************
    “On Romney’s character….

Regardless of who your current favorite candidate is, this is interesting.

Sometimes, this facet of Romney’s personality isn’t so subtle. In July 1996, the 14-year-old daughter of Robert Gay, a partner at Bain Capital, had disappeared. She had attended a rave party in New York City and gotten high on ecstasy.

Three days later, her distraught father had no idea where she was. Romney took immediate action. He closed down the entire firm and asked all 30 partners and employees to fly to New York to help find Gay’s daughter.

Romney set up a command center at the LaGuardia Marriott and hired a private detective firm to assist with the search. He established a toll-free number for tips, coordinating the effort with the NYPD, and went through his Rolodex and called everyone Bain did business with in New York, and asked them to help find his friend’s missing daughter.

Romney’s accountants at Price Waterhouse Cooper put up posters on street poles, while cashiers at a pharmacy owned by Bain put fliers in the bag of every shopper. Romney and the other Bain employees scoured every part of New York and talked with everyone they could – prostitutes, drug addicts – anyone.

That day, their hunt made the evening news, which featured photos of the girl and the Bain employees searching for her. As a result, a teenage boy phoned in, asked if there was a reward, and then hung up abruptly. The NYPD traced the call to a home in New Jersey, where they found the girl in the basement, shivering and experiencing withdrawal symptoms from a massive ecstasy dose. Doctors later said the girl might not have survived another day. Romney’s former partner credits Mitt Romney with saving his daughter’s life, saying, “It was the most amazing thing, and I’ll never forget this to the day I die.”

So, here’s my epiphany: Mitt Romney simply can’t help himself. He sees a problem, and his mind immediately sets to work solving it, sometimes consciously, and sometimes not-so-consciously. He doesn’t do it for self-aggrandizement, or for personal gain. He does it because that’s just how he’s wired.

Many people are unaware of the fact that when Romney was asked by his old employer, Bill Bain, to come back to Bain & Company as CEO to rescue the firm from bankruptcy, Romney left Bain Capital to work at Bain & Company for an annual salary of one dollar. When Romney went to the rescue of the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics, he accepted no salary for three years, and wouldn’t use an expense account. He also accepted no salary as Governor of Massachusetts.

Character counts!! (and yes…that’s worth reading again!)

Especially the idiot who’s leaning back in his chair. Personally I think Barry’s real religion is barack obama.

“After a high-ranking US delegation headed by White House National Security Adviser Tom Donilon failed in three days of tough talks (Feb.18-20) to dissuade Israeli leaders to back off plans for a military strike against Iran’s nuclear sites, the White House invited Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for talks with President Barak Obama on March 5. He will try and break the stalemate which ended his advisers’ talks with Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz.”

  23. Welcome back admin!

Pink-withdrawal syndrome infested the blog during your much-too-long absence.

    Great article.

BTW, according to Gallup, unemployment is 9 percent.

(CNSNews.com) – Unemployment in the U.S. rose to nine percent in mid-February, up from 8.3 percent a month earlier, according to a new Gallup survey. The polling company said this suggests that it is “premature” to assume the economy will not feature prominently in the 2012 election season.

Casino/hotel titan Sheldon Adelson isn’t fazed by complaints that he’s trying to buy a victory for Newt Gingrich in the Republican presidential race.

The $25 billion man and his family already have committed $11 million to the former House speaker’s super PAC, Winning Our Future, and are expected to put in another $10 million soon, Forbes reports. That may just be the start of it, Adelson tells the magazine.

If he’s right, then why qualify your sentence by indicating that you were reluctant to admit that you agree with him? I mean, it doesn’t matter to me from where truth comes. I am glad, though, that you cull the media for truthfulness regardless from where it originates. Americans need to understand what is so wrong with the Obama administration’s policies, and I don’t care who is trumpeting it. It needs to be communicated widely.

  29. Basil99 did you see this part of the Insider story where he is talking about the Calif stolen funds (from Feinstein) and the reward for money laundering will be Supreme Court and Holder’s job?

And about the comments on Ulsterman’s site, smart and very accurate.

    Insider (interrupts)

Hold up. Let’s talk Fast and Furious. Let’s talk Solyndra…that ties in with -name deleted-. Might explain why they haven’t spoken to you recently. There’s a big shove comin’ on that. The old man is finally puttin’ some skin in the game. And about damn time. And as far as the California stuff…that make your chin hit the floor a bit, didn’t it? Imagine that. Take that money laundering…all those hundreds of millions in campaign dollars cycling through there…and now reward the players with a Supreme Court position and put them first in line to replace Eric Holder at Justice. Four more years – and none of it will get out. NONE of it. Ever. You noticed that then. Good on you. I’ll let you in on somethin’ I haven’t admitted before. -Name deleted- ain’t the only one following the comments to your stories. I’ve been known to sneak a peak or two myself…you got some smart folks making some real connections. Some of it closer to the real deal than they realize. Do me a favor and pay attention to some of that. Most of it…a lot of what’s left is bullsh-t…but you got some people…some of them got the right eyes for this stuff. -Name deleted- told you to slow down and notice what’s sometimes right in front of your face. You might wanna take them up on that advice son. I ain’t gonna be available to hold your hand through this – gonna be too busy now. This thing is on its way. You need to learn to do the work yourself and not wait for me to spoon feed it to you all the time.

  30. What?!?!?

NO! This crap will ruin America and basic freedom in America. If the US govt can force an American citizen to buy a product from a PRIVATE company as a requirement of being a US citizen, Dear God, we are done as a country. There are no limits on the reach of the federal govt., they will mandate anything and everything that comes into their dumb heads.
There will be civil unrest in this country, I absolutely believe it.

  31. Shadowfax,

Yes, the Ulsterman story is spot on, as usual. Pointing out that Kamala and Tony West could be in line for DOJ and SCJ is friggin chilling.

The whole thing is chilling. I also liked how he broke down the Georgie-Porgie contraceptiongate question back at the NH primary.

And agreed some of the comments are almost as good as the post itself.

I have wondered if WHI is Carville but today JC was quoted as saying POS is s lucky lucky lucky lucky POS.

Kind of sounds like Carville, though, especially his bad grammar, use of the word boy – sounds not quite black – much like a LA. dialect.

    Anyway, who knows.

And I REALLY liked WHI hitting the ABO message. That is the prize. (IMHO)

  32. Tim,

    Me too.

“There will be civil unrest in this country, I absolutely believe it.”

I’m gonna post a link to something that’s a bit over the edge – from England – but I would not be surprised to learn there is a big dab of truth in this. It is most interesting. The speaker is known as something of a crackpot in parliament but d@mn if he didn’t get his POV on record.

  33. use of the word boy
I don’t recall him using that expression before, but maybe I only noticed this time because he said it so many times.

I wonder if the money laundering was the funds stolen from Feinstein and others, or part of the process also from all the fraud donations to Obama?

  34. Despite all the teeth-gnashing and jaw-clenching the POS is apparently NOT doing so well in head-to-heads with either of the 2 repub frontrunners.

    From TH:

Meanwhile, President Obama’s standing against two potential Republican rivals has ebbed a bit. Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney leads the president 50%-46% among registered voters, Romney’s strongest showing against him to date. Obama edges former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum by a single percentage point, 49%-48%.

  35. tim,

Just be warned – it’s pretty far-fetched but NEVERTHELESS it reeks of the filthy money trail which is so quickly emptying U.S. coffers and lining the pockets of Bo and company.

  36. shadowfazx,

From the context it sounded like it was referring to the multi-million dollar theft from Feinstein’s campaign fund.

    A reminder:

    By Amanda Becker
    Roll Call Staff
    Nov. 2, 2011, Midnight

“More than $5.2 million is missing from the campaign coffers of California Democrats on the Hill, and hundreds of thousands more are unavailable for withdrawal in the wake of an alleged embezzlement scandal that has rocked the Democratic Party in the Golden State and all but wiped out hundreds of bank accounts associated with state, House and Senate campaigns.”

Those hardest-hit by what is now the largest campaign-embezzlement scandal to date are Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), whose re-election campaign reported a cash-on-hand adjustment of more than $4.5 million due to misappropriated funds; Rep. Susan Davis (D-Calif.), whose campaign adjusted its cash-on-hand figure by $160,015 to account for allegedly embezzled funds; and Reps. Linda Sánchez (D-Calif.) and her sister Loretta Sanchez (D-Calif.), whose campaigns reported missing about $322,123 and $125,000, respectively.”

    Compliments of Kindee Durkee.

Between that, the green energy scams, the government motors money, the stimulus, the banking kickbacks, just how much has the POS stolen from us? From Medicare (500 billion, no?) Stolen from SS with the payroll tax cut?

(Shadowfax, I believe you might get a kick out of the link I posted upthread from Lord James of BlackHeath.)

  37. 😆 😉 This is rich, errr, how low will Baracko go???

After emailing supporters 10 times in December asking for a three dollar donation in exchange for a chance to win dinner with the President, the Obama re-election campaign has now cut the price to only a buck.

Here is the text of the “personal” invitation from the president

Tomorrow night, we’ll pick the first of four supporters who will sit down with me for dinner.

I’m hoping you’ll take me up on the invitation.

Donate $1 or whatever you can today to be automatically entered for the chance to be my first dinner guest.

These meals are one simple thing that sets this campaign apart. The seats at our table don’t belong to any Washington lobbyist or powerful interest.

These seats are yours. Donate $1 or more today and be automatically entered to win:

    Hope to see you,

  38. I read about that. $1! I wouldn’t give him one cent!

OTOH, check this clip of Franklin Graham on Morning Joe insisting BO should be doing more to protect Christian Minorities in Islamic Countries and disavowing Sharia Law.

He does a great job despite the smarmy gotcha mugs on the panelists’ faces. And he also points out that when he met BO and asked him how he came to JC BO said the Chicago community asked hm which church he belonged to so he had to choose one.

  39. Leanora,

I hope AA gets the boot. From a discussion I heard with Judge Napolitano he said when a similar case was brought before the SC in 2003, Kennedy voted AGAINST granting AA. Then he was in the minority. But now, according to Napolitano, Kennedy would be the swing vote for the group which would be against the ruling, giving them the majority.

Meaning that AA could be voted down.

Napolitano also said Sotomeyer might have to recuse herself.

  40. The Supreme Court on Tuesday added even more time for oral arguments in the landmark case over President Obama’s healthcare reform law.

The justices added an extra 30 minutes to hear arguments over whether they have the authority to decide whether the law’s individual mandate is constitutional. That brings the case to a total of six hours. It was already set to be the longest argument in the court’s modern history.

Twenty-six states and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) filed the challenge to Obama’s healthcare legislation, though the Supreme Court has had to appoint third parties to argue certain positions.

The court will now spend an hour and a half determining whether it can make a ruling before the mandate takes effect in 2014. A separate federal law, known as the Anti-Injunction Act, bars lawsuits over new taxes until those taxes have taken effect.

Because it wasn’t about religion, it was about political power. The Black church’s are where the Black political power is and one of the biggest, was the lovely, always racist, God Da*m America, Hillary is a racist, Rev Wrong.

Rev Graham was too politically correct to call it out.Would have loved for him to have done it.

  42. shadowfax…the second part of Clinton is on now in EST…

last night was interesting…so great to see both Hillary and Bill so young and strong…

tonight you will see why Newt is such an ass and how hard he worked to bring both of them down…he had a big hand in wasting so much of their time…their precious time…

  43. I watched Clinton: The American Experience, last night- In fact, I taped it to watch it again later on…

It wasn’t as derogatory as I had heard it was going to be- I thought it was a pretty good bibliography- God Almighty, I never realized how hard Hillary worked to get him elected during the campaign.. or how many times she saved him turning lemons into lemonade.

    {{big hugs and big thanks to Hillary}}

… In hindsight, it was interesting watching the mile markers when Bill was about to announce a run for the presidency. A scandal was already in the works ready to Break as soon as he made his announcement… He heard about it and immediately cancelled his plans for another few years.

GHWB and the Vast Right Wing’s fingerprints were visible everywhere- Every time Bill’s popularity would rise… there appeared “bad news headlines” pushing him down wrecking all the good-will he worked hard for months to cultivate. Thwarting BC’s chances at every turn became almost predictable. (well, until he and Hillary finally figured it all out!)

They showed a clip of the debate with GHWBush and Ross Perot that turned BC into a serious contender for the presidency. A lady sitting in the audience rose to ask a question that sparked BC’s ability to identify with Middle Class America. Bush couldn’t understand the question… quizzically he turned the question into a perceived interrogatory about, as he called it,… “people of means”, looking dumbfounded after realizing he had no answer for her. Bill quickly rose from his seat, taking a few steps forward asking her to repeat the question again- She did, which was to do with the “jobs” and “economy”- Bill began… identifying with the working people in his own state Arkansas… which those people by now were friends he knew by name.. Bill knew who were working, who had lost their jobs.. crystallizing a moment of empathy that would sky rocket his popularity nationwide..

I laughed like crazy at another clip of BC and a campaign aide Bunnett(sp) flying to a rally in a tiny plane when the pilot encountered the densest FOG he had ever flown in – He couldn’t see a hand in front of himself and said to the two passengers; “we have to turn around, we can’t land!” BC said… “Oh no, we have to get there, we’re late and there are 100 people waiting to hear me speak”..Bunnett thought BC was crazy and if the pilot listened to Bill, they were all going to DIE-

While Bunnett was saying his prayers, Bill took advantage of the time.. and took a NAP… obviously, they circled until they could land… a bit late, but safe and sound..

A Ms. Staley did a nice job in her interview. She encapsulated Bill’s run for the presidency very nicely as she remembered it. Where people were very receptive to Bill’s speeches. She said: (Being the man from Hope)”He carries the Right Message and he has the Right Heart. People recognized this and voted for him.

What I gleaned from this- Is the message that made Bill Clinton so well received and popular with voters in the 92′ campaign was a restated version of the same thing (stolen) and used by Obama in 08′-

So the end all is this- Both Clintons owe Obama a whoppin’. Obama not only stole the electoral votes and delegates from Hillary- He stole Bill’s very successful message identifying with the Middle Class and the ordinary Working Man that Won him the presidency in 1992′-
Except.. Obama doesn’t possesses and never did the most important quality.. The Right Heart!

Have at it- M/M Clinton. He’s all yours for the taking anyway you choose.. we are here standing for you, at your back…waiting… GO HILLARY!

  45. I’m watching the PBS “show” about Clinton. Isn’t it amazing as we look back how the Reps and press were so wild about a man lying about sex. With all that has gone on during the Bush administration and the mega lying during the Obama administration, the corruption and fraud that truly hurts all of us now, isn’t it amazing that Congress tried to impeach a president for lying about sex!

It makes me mad all over again and again.

  46. I have to wait a little while for Part 2 of Clinton, only had time to watch 20 minutes of pt 1 while working…. 😉

I loved when Hillary said she was no Tammy Wynett, that she loved and respected her Bill, and if people didn’t believe he would be a great President (my words) they didn’t have to vote for him!

I raised my fist in the air and yelled (at work)’ “Yes, that’s our girl! You tell um!”

I was talking to Big Pinkers, but no one knew it. 😉

Yes, isn’t it amazing that Bush got us into a 10 year plus war, with thousands of deaths and when he lied about Saddam having WMD….he wasn’t impeached.

How many obots do you know that refused to vote for Hillary because of Bill’s affair?

I personally don’t know one human saint, so they can all shove it using this against either Clinton, ESPECIALLY Hillary.

  48. This is too long to put in the whole thing, but it is well worth the read – especially for those who remember those bad ol’ Nixon days. Can you say Tony Ulasewicz?
OK. Let’s get down to cases. The case of Media Matters and all those deeply interesting stories over at Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller.
    Let’s add some history. Context.
Let’s focus on one solitary, very bright thread in this series of stories about Media Matters, specifically the relationship between Media Matters and the Obama White House.
There is one very disturbing, very serious precedent that provides a direct link between the Obama White House and its Media Matters buddies — and the famous Watergate scandal that brought down the Nixon presidency.

  49. Southern Born…you are so right…the repubs hated Bill and Hill from the get go…they were determined to take them down…anyway they could…just to have to relive those days of Kenneth Starr and that smug look and year after year after year of hunting down Bill…and Hill…is sooooo infuriating…and they did not even touch on all the daily, simultaneous investigations…Al DiMato remember that creep…

I can never condone Bill’s indulgent stupidity with Monica…he gave them the ammunition…but if it wasn’t Lewinsky, his enemies were determined to find something else…

I think the thing that angers me the most is the disrespect they showed to Hillary…how that basta..d Starr demanded that not only she, the First Lady of the USA, appear before the grand jury…but have to do almost a perp walk to the courthouse…he was determined to humiliate her any way he could…he could not even show her the common courtesy of taking her depo in the WH…

…and fast forward the anger only mulitplies now when O gets a pass on everything…Bill Clinton and Hillary were under magnifying glasses for years and often under oath as well…and this fraud just sails on trying to resurrect his Mr Cool act…

  50. just have to add one more thing…after watching both nights of the Clinton show all i can say is I love them both…thank god for Hillary and Bill Clinton…they are two very special treasures in this world…

  51. another hard day at work for O ( for JBStonesfan…)

Jeff Beck slowed things down with an instrumental “Brush With the Blues,” as anticipation built for the arrival of Jagger, who did not disappoint.

The Neo-Cons never got over Bill Clinton’s winning the election in 1992- GHWB took it upon himself relishing the idea to lead the drive dethroning the man the people wanted and needed at that time instead of him.

Republican operatives were watching the marital dynamics between the Clintons. The saw weakness there also a grand opportunity for exploitation. A chance to catch him in an elicit affair.. sending in Linda Tripp for the sole purpose of befriending Monica Lewinski. Tripp in turn contacted a Washington Insider, Lucienne Goldberg with this juicy information. The Dye was set-

Goldberg’s eyes lit up for the opportunity turning this secretive affair into a moneymaking endeavor enriching herself and the writer eventually chosen to destroy Bill Clinton, Michael Issikoff… Hindsight is 20/20.. and this could not have happened without powerful forces setting the stage once they noticed the attraction of 21 yr old intern, Monica Lewinski to Bill Clinton.

It wasn’t happenstance Tripp and Lewinski were partnered up as co-workers no less, at the Pentagon…

Bob Dole having his own AXE to grind- losing the election to Clinton in 1996- He was a willing ‘hungry to get even’ participant in this Greek Tragedy.

No need to wonder how Lewinski’s gained a rental to a town house in the same apt complex next door to Bob and Libby Dole.. coincidentally sharing the same inside wall space dividing one apt from the other.. I suspect their were microphones planted ensuring when Tripp spoke to Lewinski they were able to verify [if] she was telling the Truth… Keeping a blue dress under refrigeration… I can only guess, who’s idea that was?

  53. Trent Lott- his comment on not understanding how Bill Clinton did it coming out of the Impeachment with the highest poll ratings-yet… hilarious!

While all this tumult was going on, I read Trent Lott was seen in a downtown DC Gay Bar looking for love dressed in nothing but a thong and a pr of chaps- yahoo!

  54. I liked Robert Reich’s positive picture drawn as the final word of PBS’s Clinton drama… I think, had Bill Clinton been readily aware of the people who then and now were not and still not are willing to let bygones be bygones… He may have done things differently taking his vulnerabilities more seriously knowing the knives were always present just overlooked and unseen by him because those things are not in his nature.

The fact remains- he changed the course of our history. What is happening to us now was scheduled by Bush and the Neo-Cons to happen to us back in 92′- What Bill Clinton did by getting himself elected in 92′ instead of GHWB was prove them wrong! Things do not have to be the way they are today in 2012 nor did they have to be that way in 1992.

Bill- you did good and we will be forever grateful for your sacrifice.. You’ve come a long way since then.. So, what are we waiting for… Let’s return the favor.

  55. I can never condone Bill’s indulgent stupidity with Monica…he gave them the ammunition…but if it wasn’t Lewinsky, his enemies were determined to find something else…

Right. Okay, Starr found nothing but a blow job. Bill Clinton’s one fault — human and understandable.

If Bill’s sex life had been as irreproachable as his public life, the GOP would have invented some other excuse for impeachment: probably an accusation of violating some very complicated campaign finance rule (like Gore’s supposedly making a phone call from the wrong room in the WH!). And the public would never have known the truth of the matter.

But Starr found the real, sexual fault — which was human and understandable. So the public understood it — and supported Bill.

  56. Part 2 on my tv now, Newt and Starr are making my blood boil.
Newt has no chance in Hell of getting a vote outta me, not in 2012, not ever. He won’t win the primary so I don’t have to worry.

  57. Newt has no chance in Hell of getting a vote outta me, not in 2012, not ever.

Thank God! Hm, who decided to run that show just now, anyway?

  58. The ending of Clinton was strange to me, he didn’t ride off into the sunset and retire in some deserted island, he started CGI, and seemed to continue his great leadership, putting together the top of many companies to help people all over the world. The Big Dawg wasn’t just our President, just like our Hillary wasn’t just a First Lady then a Senator.

We are so lucky to have them despite their enemies in both parties…they are hated by so many in politics because their stars outshine others who are dim in comparison.

  59. It is a while since I’ve posted on this blog, but I thought AMB90, in particular, would like the following item, if he has not seen it already.

Hillary was due to come here in Jan or Feb 2 years ago, but Haiti had its earthquake and she postponed her visit and rushed home. Later that year we had a strong earthquake of our own, following by (now) over 10,000 aftershocks, the most damaging of which, a year ago today, destroyed lives, our city, our homes. We are grateful others joined us in our grief today – it’s been a hard day, but we appreciate that others were with us in spirit.

US and Mexican oil companies are to be given rights to drill in a previously disputed area of the Gulf of Mexico under a landmark deal between the two governments that reflects their eagerness to develop domestic oil and gas production.

An area of the gulf along the maritime boundary between the two countries, long left unexplored because of legal uncertainty about rights over its resources, will be made available to US oil groups and Pemex, the Mexican state oil company.

  62. This Supreme Court session may be one of the most interesting in my lifetime. They increased the oral argument time for the Obama Mandatory Insurance Give Away Act, accepted a University of Texas affirmative action lawsuit, and are quietly pressuring Obama’s flunkies on the court to recuse themselves so that his political taint is left out of these potentially landmark decisions. Publicly attacking a co-equal branch of government during a SOTU may turn out to be the stupidest thing he has done. What goes around comes around and bites you in the ass.

  63. If you can keep up with Carney’s double talk.. you are a better person than most of us.. leaving us scratching our heads-

Carney: Obama Didn’t Turn Down The Keystone Pipeline

White House press secretary Jay Carney first says Republicans “forced” President Obama to deny the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. Later in his press briefing, Carney says Obama didn’t turn down the pipeline.

“In terms of Keystone, as you all know, the history here is pretty clear. And the fact is because Republicans decided to play political with Keystone, their action essentially forced the administration to deny the permit process because they insisted on a time frame in which it was impossible to completely approve the pipeline,” Carney said when asked about the pipeline by ABC News’ Jake Tapper.

Later in the briefing, Carney says it is the Republicans’ fault.

Jake Tapper: “How can you say that you have an all the above on approach if the President turned down the Keystone pipeline? And you blame the Republicans for making it political.”

Carney: “But the President didn’t turn down the Keystone pipeline. There was a process in place, with long precedent, run out of the State Department because of the issue of the pipeline crossing an international boundary, that required an amount of time for proper for review after an alternate route was deemed necessary through Nebraska at the request of the Republican Governor of Nebraska and other stakeholders in Nebraska and the region that needed to play out, to be done appropriately. You can’t review and approve a pipeline, the route for which doesn’t even exist.

“The Republicans were the ones who unfortunately decided because they were looking for scalps, I guess, or wins in a situation where they somehow found themselves on the wrong side of cutting taxes for 160 million Americans last December. They decided to play politics with this decision and attack the payroll tax cut extension. Even though it was made clear by the State Department that doing so would make it impossible for them to conduct the review responsibly, they did it anyway knowing what the result would be.”

Gingrich: Obama has ‘anti-American’ energy policy

    February 21, 2012

Newt Gingrich is asserting that President Barack Obama pursues an “outrageously anti-American’’ energy policy that snubs the Keystone oil pipeline and puts too much stock in electric car technology to wean the country from foreign oil dependency.

The former House speaker tells CBS’s “This Morning’’ show gasoline prices have skyrocketed since Obama took office. He says Obama entertains a “fantasy’’ that the electric car “is going to liberate us from Saudi Arabia.’’

  65. Only 22% satisfied with country’s direction – lowest since Carter.

It’s February, nine months before a presidential election, and only 22 percent of Americans say they are satisfied with the way things are going. Voters haven’t been this unhappy with the country since George H.W. Bush’s presidency, when only 21 percent of Americans reported being happy with the country’s direction. And before that, the lowest approval rating was 19 percent during Jimmy Carter’s first term.

What do the two presidencies have in common? Neither of them won re-election. And, if the trends holds true, Obama looks to be in an equally precarious situation.

The American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research released its 2012 campaign outlook, and it’s clear Obama’s sitting in the same position George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter were in during the February before their election losses—voters don’t feel good about the country.

  72. This can not be good.

Good God: Supreme Court May Not Decide Constitutionality of ObamaCare Mandate Until… 2016

    Are you kidding me?

This morning’s newspapers report an ominous development in the ObamaCare litigation, now pending in the U.S. Supreme Court:
The Court posted a seemingly minor but potentially portentous administrative change, which suggests it might postpone delivering a final ruling on the constitutionality of ObamaCare until the middle of 2016!

Specifically, the high Court increased the time it will devote to hearing oral arguments on whether the health care mandate is a tax for purposes of something called the Tax Anti-Injunction Act.

The Tax Anti-Injunction Act forbids the Supreme Court to hear a case on the constitutionality of a tax until the tax has actually been levied on a citizen.

The Court can’t do this — to decide they can’t rule on ObamaCare until the “tax” is levied decides the issue in order to postpone the issue.

Obama is contending, now, that the penalty is effectively a “tax.” If he prevails on that, he most likely prevails on the case. If the penalty is a tax, then most likely the Court would find it constitutional.

If the Court decides they can’t rule until the “tax” is levied, citing the Anti-Injunction Act for taxes, then they’ve already decided it’s a tax. They will have decided it’s a tax, in order to defer a further examination of whether or not it’s a tax.

This is bootstrapping or reductio ad absurdum — assuming the answer to the question in order to decide the question.

Remarks at New Zealand Earthquake Anniversary

    Press Statement
    Hillary Rodham Clinton
    Secretary of StateChristchurch, New Zealand

    February 22, 2012

It’s been a year since a terrible earthquake struck New Zealand, but memories are still fresh. I had visited Christchurch just a few months earlier, and I was shocked to learn of the scope of the damage. So many lives were lost. So many homes and businesses were destroyed. Together, and with the leadership of our embassy staff on the ground, we began to work out how the United States could help. That’s what friends do.
In the aftermath of the earthquake, the United States, along with many other countries, sent an Urban Search and Rescue team to provide assistance. When their mission ended, they gave their advanced rescue equipment to their Kiwi partners so the work could continue. When a terrible earthquake struck Japan just weeks later, New Zealand quickly deployed its own teams… along with that same equipment. In America, we call that “paying it forward.” It was international relations at its very best.
Even those of us who were far away on that terrible day share in your grief. We know it has been a struggle, but through that struggle we have seen the strength and perseverance of the people of Christchurch. So, Christchurch, yes, we grieve with you. And we remember with you. But most of all, as we celebrate 70 years of a strategic partnership with New Zealand, know that we will continue to support you and we look forward to a long future of cooperation as we work to solve our common problems.

I saw the postings of those who liked the show on the Clintons. I am of another opinion, however. Lamestream Media only brings up President Clinton to reaffirm all the ‘bad’ that he was perceived to have done. An additional bonus is to show the world, once again, what a boob Hillary is married to and thus hurt her. Every time they bring the Clintons to the forefront they seem to have the purpose in mind that we might be a little more grateful for the current residents of the White House. But, right now they get a two-fer in that they also show the Clintons in order to establish how evil Newt Gingrich might be, and hopefully to hurt his chances in the current election process. It seems to have worked. It is my opinion that they so WANT to run against Romney.

  77. Newt Gingrich is asserting that President Barack Obama pursues an “outrageously anti-American’’ energy policy that snubs the Keystone oil pipeline and puts too much stock in electric car technology to wean the country from foreign oil dependency.

Er, the Keystone Pipeline comes from Canada, which IS a foreign country. Their other customer may be China, whose other supplier is the ME. So the ME can jerk our prices around by tweaking the world oil market.

Whereas the sun rises and sets over the US, as we should know.

  78. WHITE HOUSE INSIDER: President Obama says F**K Israel

UM: Those are his exact words?
    Insider: Yes – exact words.
    UM: F-ck Israel?
    Insider: F-ck Israel.
UM: How do you know that? What he said – those words?
Insider: It got back to…it made its way back to the source.
    UM: -Name Deleted-?
Insider: The source. Let’s just call it that.
    UM: And then to you?’
Insider: No…it got back to the source…then made its way to State. Then it made its way back to me. If they say that is what was said – that is what was said.
Look…this president’s hostility toward Israel is pretty well documented by now. How he treated the Prime Minister. Don’t forget – he sat in a church for 20 years that was openly hostile to Jews. The dots all connect on that stuff – and pretty damn easily too.
But where the real danger – the real hostility against Israel is coming from…that’s Jarrett. And I don’t know what her endgame is there – but if I were Israel…they gotta be very nervous. There ain’t ever been an administration like this one so hostile to the Jewish state. Never.

  79. and as if on cue, TDO tries to turn it around on Bill or Hill. Boy you get your admin talking points out fast these days.

  80. Thanks Dem1 for the ulsterman Insider part two…still reading it but…

—-> WHO IS THE OLD MAN HE IS TALKING ABOUT??? (Issa, or someone else???)

Insider: I read that…your interview. If he’s going to war…if he is gonna get off his ass and really take this thing full on…he ain’t done that – I recall only one time in all the years…one time he took on a president like that. Only one time before. You see, he goes about with his good manners, his respect for the country, the office…all that bullsh-t. Not to say – not sayin’ he’s not being sincere ’cause he is. But underneath that…the guy is tough on a level you or I…we won’t ever understand. And he’s got the kind of pull…scary power there. Those people…I work my ass off…laying the groundwork…all the plans…the work…and they just pick up the phone and BAM! What’s done is done. Just like that. No gettin’ their hands dirty – no rollin’ in the mud with the rest of us. Just…done. But now…like I said – the old boy is pissed. He’s gettin’ in the game – REALLY gettin’ involved now. So that’s gonna be a big benefit to us here. And the recent uptick in Solyndra news – that’s gotta be him. He’s pushin’ that. Lightsquared…he’s gotta be all over that too because that’s personal. That’s…that’s his backyard.

  81. Now THIS I would love to see!

    From UM.

“And back to Jarrett – there’s gonna be more investigation into her role in this administration. This flyin’ under the radar bullsh-t is gonna come to and end. Let her feel some heat straight on for a change. By the mainstream. No more of this hands off bullsh-t. Watch for it ’cause it’s coming. Gonna make her sweat – like a fat Elvis.
UM: Will Daley play a hand in that?
    Insider: Done and done son…”

    More excerpts;

And don’t forget the threat to the president. What took place – those shots at the White House…test run stuff. And where was my credit for that? Hell – I told you something along those lines was about to break – and what was it…couple weeks? Couple weeks and then it happened? There will be more of that kind of thing comin’. Gonna fit in with the race card stuff. How those terrible mean ole’ Republicans never gave Obama chance ’cause he’s Black you know. That was it. Not the fact he’s pretty much set the world on fire while he’s at it…no – it’s just ’cause he’s Black, right? All that stuff is gonna try and come together.
Jarrett thinks a little military conflict timed for the summer…might help their cause a bit. So watch for that – that can’t be a surprise to anyone whose paying any kind of attention. Lotsa folks been sayin’ that looks to be coming now.
Now you need to understand here…the situation in the Middle East is very volatile at this point. Gettin’ worse every damn day. Horrible over there. State knows it. NSA – CIA – Pentagon…they are all on edge with this thing. But not so much the president. His focus is on November, 2012. It’s on the applause of the crowds. It’s on looking cool again, right? What I told you before about that – looking cool?
So the Saudi info is put out there – tied in with the Middle East thing – the Israeli situation.
Now here’s the president’s reaction. Here’s what he says – verbatim.
    “F—ing Israel. I don’t care anymore. They won’t listen – so f-ck them.”
But where the real danger – the real hostility against Israel is coming from…that’s Jarrett. And I don’t know what her endgame is there – but if I were Israel…they gotta be very nervous. There ain’t ever been an administration like this one so hostile to the Jewish state. Never.
WHI is sounding less convinced of a BO defeat.

  82. Very interesting….

UM: Nobody wanted to step up and put together a challenge against Obama?

Insider: If you followed the news reports on it – those came out…started to come out about a month after you and I spoke about it, right? So gettin’ someone to take on a sitting president – that’s a scary f—-ing proposition for somebody. We thought we had somebody willing to go there. Not to defeat him in a primary – that was never the plan. That would never happen. But to weaken him. Create a bit of chaos – push down the enthusiasm. Basically the same thing that’s being done to the Republicans right now. Get that? It’s the same playbook basically – just different f—ing players.

You catch old Nader out there…sayin’ how everywhere he went to try and find somebody to challenge Obama, the White House would step on that person. He all but said threats were made. Now that’s is exactly what came back to me – so Nader wasn’t lyin’ on that. Now this was a good two months or so – maybe three months…after we talked. After I told you we were trying to line up a challenger to Obama. We had one individual who had signed on to do it – they gave it some thought and said OK – let’s do it.

    UM: What happened?

Insider: They were threatened. Had to be.

UM: Did you confirm that with them?

Insider: No – they just shut up. Wouldn’t return our communications. It was just…just dropped. That tells me they got spooked. They were got to. And to spook them…well…that musta been a hard hand that slapped them upside the head. The kind of hand that comes from a presidential administration. They like makin’ those threats – these Obama people. So…whatever. Move on. You lose a little battle- but the war goes on.

Our focus right now is gettin’ the Republican side to get it’s sh-t together. Like I said – all this infighting…it’s too much. It’s harming the effort. I am all for a go get ‘em primary race. What’s goin’ on now though – they gotta cut this sh-t out. Decide who can beat Obama, get behind that nominee – and then go after this president.

  83. Me too Basil99.

About the only two things that keep me going these days in politics are Admin’s posts and the Insider…………and of course, our Girl.

  84. Obama’s meteoric rise in poltics was propelled by American jews all along according to Victor Thorn

Barack Obama: America’s First Jewish President?

    By Victor Thorn

ON DEC. 12, 2008, Judge Abner Mikva, a Jewish former counsel in the Clinton White House, quipped, “Barack Obama will go down in history as America’s first Jewish president.” The Wall Street Journal ran an article on April 21 that included a quote from Judson Miner, a Jewish lawyer, who gave Obama his first job in Chicago.

“‘I used to tease Barack that he had Jewish blood,” said Miner. The connections to Judaism run even closer to home: Michelle Obama’s second cousin converted to Judaism, was ordained a rabbi, and runs a Chicago congregation made up largely of black converts to Judaism.

Similarly, on April 16, 2008, the Los Angeles Times ran a headline, “Barack Obama Claims Jewish Kinship” after he told an audience, “My links to the Jewish community are not political. They preceded my entry into politics.”

Obama’s closest confidante, Valerie Jarrett, is the protégé of Marilyn Katz, a Jewish security provider for the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). According to scholar Arthur Liebman, 46 percent of all SDS delegates in the 1960s were Jewish, with five of nine presidents being Jewish.

Katz introduced Jarrett to Daniel Levin (Jewish) who gave her a real estate job, whereupon she worked with Obama’s bagman, convicted felon Tony Rezko. Katz also founded the New American Movement (which included the Communist Party USA) with Rabbi Michael Lerner.

In regard to the president, one of Katz’s clients, Project Vote (an ACORN affiliate), brought Obama to Chicago. She also introduced Obama at his first nationwide anti-war speech on Oct. 2, 2002; then served on his finance committee and as a bundler during the 2008 presidential race.

Further, Katz has known Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers (a disciple of the SDS) for over 40 years. Ayers is married to fellow Weather Underground member Bernadine Dohrn (Jewish), and served with Obama on the Woods Fund (which provided a major expansion in funding to ACORN). Ayers also arranged for Walter and Leonore Annenberg (Jewish) to name Obama to be the first chairman of the prestigious Annenberg Foundation in 1995.

Similarly, Valerie Jarrett’s mother ran the Erickson Institute, where one of the board members was Tom Ayers, father of Bill Ayers. Bernadine Dohrn also served on this board.

Fellow Weather Underground founder Jeff Jones is married to Eleanor Stein (Jewish), and was credited by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for writing most of the recent “stimulus bill” via the Apollo Alliance. Jones also served with Van Jones, a self-avowed Communist, in this same organization.

Then, none other than Valerie Jarrett brought Van Jones into the Obama cabinet. She boasted at the Daily Kos conference on Aug. 15, “We have been watching Van Jones for some years and are so delighted to recruit him into the White House.”

In addition, Jarrett hired Michelle Robinson (Obama—the couple married in 1992) in 1991 to work in Mayor Richard Daley’s office; then opened doors for the couple to enter Chicago’s most liberal social circles.

Another influential member of Obama’s Cabinet with close ties to Jarrett is senior adviser David Axelrod (Jewish). Jarrett first hired him at the Urban Health Institute, and then longtime Democratic insider Betty Lu Saltzman (Jewish) introducedAxelrod to Obama in 1992. Axelrod’s two mentors were journalist/activists Don Rose and David S. Canter, both Jewish. Rose held membership in a Communist Party organization labeled the Alliance to End Repression, while their president and directors were Richard Criley, Abe Feinglass, Jack Spiegel and Norman Roth, all Jewish. Rose also knew Marilyn Katz quite well through the SDS, and the newspaper he owned pushed Marxist causes while also promoting Abner Mikva, one of Obama’s early Jewish mentors. Not to be outdone, his partner’s father, Harry J. Canter, acted as secretary of Boston’s Communist Party.

The extent of this collaboration between various questionable factions in Chicago is reflected in the comments of Rabbi Arnold Wolf (who died in 2008), a Democratic Socialist. “We had a party for [Obama] at our house when he was just starting back in the 1990s. I said right away: ‘[H]ere’s a guy who could sell our product, and sell it with splendor.’”

From the research done on Barack Obama during the past few years, it’s clear that his rise to power can be unequivocally mapped as follows. At the top exist extremely wealthy Jewish financiers such as the Rothschilds and George Soros, who’ve set his course in motion. To carry out this plan are mid-level Jewish operatives (Rahm Emanuel, Axelrod, Summers, Katz etc), along with hard-line Marxist sympathizers.

Lastly, at the street level are a host of black nationalists such as Van Jones and Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose rhetoric is aggressively anti-white. Toss in a very pro-Obama unabashedly Jewish-controlled media, and it’s ultimately clear how he reached the Oval Office.

  85. Has anyone noted this: Kentucky’s junior senator says it would be an honor to be considered as a possible running mate for Republican.

What is really interesting to me is how all these people are connected, Ayers, Axelrod, Jarrett, Rahm, etc…

  87. Newt will speak at AIPAC

Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich may be slipping in the polls, but he will deliver a speech at the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee policy conference in Washington, a spokesman for AIPAC confirmed today.

Gingrich’s speech will be on the morning on March 5, one day after U.S. President Barack Obama addresses the conference and before the speech of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who will speak that evening. Obama and Netanyahu will meet in the Oval Office that day.

Last December, Gingrich made news when he called the Israeli-Palestinian peace process “delusional” and called the Palestinians an “invented” people. He also said the Palestinian Authority and Hamas share “an enormous desire to destroy Israel.”

“If I’m even-handed between a civilian democracy that obeys the rule of law and a group of terrorists who are firing missiles every day, that’s not even-handed. That’s favoring the terrorists,” Gingrich said.

Gingrich’s campaign has benefited from more than $10 million in donations to a Gingrich-supporting Super PAC from casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, a close ally of Netanyahu and owner of the daily Israel Hayom.

In addition to Gingrich, Obama, and Netanyahu, the current list of confirmed speakers now includes: Israeli President Shimon Peres, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT), Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA), President of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars Jane Harman, CNN Contributor Paul Begala, Democratic strategist Donna Brazile, Fox News contributor Liz Cheney, editor of The Weekly Standard William Kristol, and political analyst for NBC News Mike Murphy.

Kristol is on the board of the Emergency Committee for Israel, a group that has sponsored several ad campaigns accusing Obama of being “not pro-Israel.” The group is also the only Israel-focused advocacy organization to have formed a SuperPAC in the run up to the 2012 election. The other two board members of ECI are Gary Bauer, who today endorsed Rick Santorum, and Rachel Abrams, the wife of former NSC official Elliott Abrams, and the author of the controversial Israel-focused blog “Bad Rachel.”

Obama the Lawbreaker versus the Catholic Church

    American Thinker

In response to the Obama administration mandate requiring Catholic institutions to pay for insurance covering contraception, U.S. Catholic bishops announced that they will not “obey” that “law.”

The bishops have gotten it wrong and backwards, and in doing so have yielded the moral high ground that is rightfully theirs.

Catholic bishops and the Church’s other clerical and even lay leaders have let this issue devolve into a debate about the right to use contraception when that is not even remotely accurate. Proponents of religious and economic freedom are on the defensive. Dictatorial authoritarians are defining the issue and defining their opponents as…well, dictatorial authoritarians.

However, it is the Obama administration that is refusing to obey the law. The administration is the trespasser on rights. Its people are, in fact, lawbreakers.

  90. Percentage of Americans who pay no tax hits 49.5.

    What does this mean?
If you work full time and take 0 deductions, and therefore your taxes are covered, are you someone that doesn’t pay taxes?

Are wealthy folks that have tax loop holes and end up not paying extra, included in this group?

Or……..are just folks that don’t have a job or seniors collecting SS and not earning extra in the don’t pay taxes group?

  91. Another eye-popping number was the percentage of Americans who don’t pay income taxes, which now accounts for nearly half of the U.S. population. Meanwhile, most of that population receives generous federal benefits.

“One of the most worrying trends in the Index is the coinciding growth in the non-taxpaying public,” wrote Heritage authors Bill Beach and Patrick Tyrrell. “The percentage of people who do not pay federal income taxes, and who are not claimed as dependents by someone who does pay them, jumped from 14.8 percent in 1984 to 49.5 percent in 2009.”

That means 151.7 million Americans paid nothing in 2009. By comparison, 34.8 million tax filers paid no taxes in 1984.

  92. The rapid growth of Americans who don’t pay income taxes is particularly alarming for the fate of the American form of government, Beach and Tyrrell warned. Coupled with higher spending on government programs, it is already proving to be a major fiscal challenge.

“This trend should concern everyone who supports America’s republican form of government,” Beach and Tyrrell wrote. “If the citizens’ representatives are elected by an increasing percentage of voters who pay no income tax, how long will it be before these representatives respond more to demands for yet more entitlements and subsidies from non-payers than to the pleas of taxpayers to exercise greater spending prudence?”

  93. Now THIS is amazing! (and weird).

Google-powered eyeglasses to replace smartphones for info distribution?

People who constantly reach into a pocket to check a smartphone for bits of information will soon have another option: a pair of Google-made glasses that will be able to stream information to the wearer’s eyeballs in real time.

According to several Google employees familiar with the project who asked not to be named, the glasses will go on sale to the public by the end of the year. These people said they are expected “to cost around the price of current smartphones,” or $250 to $600.

The people familiar with the Google glasses said they would be Android-based, and will include a small screen that will sit a few inches from someone’s eye. They will also have a 3G or 4G data connection and a number of sensors including motion and GPS.

  94. According to the 2012 Index of Dependence on Government, produced annually by The Heritage Foundation, they report more than 70 percent of all federal spending goes to dependency programs. And now with almost 50 percent of the population not paying federal income tax, it’s creating a fiscal firestorm.

The Heritage Foundation refers to the increases grimly as “unsustainable”.
“Today…67.3 million Americans, from college students to retirees to welfare beneficiaries—depend on the federal government for housing, food, income, student aid, or other assistance once considered to be the responsibility of individuals, families, neighborhoods, churches, and other civil society institutions…Unsustainable increases in dependent populations predate the recent recession—and continuing economic morass—and have continued to rise since the economy collapsed in 2008 and 2009.”
Whoever controls your money and your choices controls you. And when you lose that ability, you begin to stop taking responsibility for your life. Dependency programs breed more dependency and can create the same psychological effects as people involved in abusive or other severely difficult situations.
The Administration is allowing people to become fully dependent on them for their basic needs like food and access to health services, even encouraging it. The more they rely on the Government, the more Government has control of their lives and the less people feel they are capable of escaping their situation. Without responsibility and choices, they give up.
An excellent example of this was presented in a study in 1976 by Langer and Rodin. It showed the effects of nursing home patients who were given responsibility and choices as opposed to those “where conformity and passivity is encouraged and every whim is attended to.” The latter dramatically declined in overall “health and well-being”. The study was extended to homeless shelters. When people were given both responsibility and choices they were much more likely to find work and a place to live.
America has always encouraged individual responsibility and autonomy, but as the size of the Government increases the individual decreases. And as the studies show, when people take responsibility for their own lives and have choices without being under the control of someone else, they are happier and more productive.

  95. This will be interesting- See if Gingrich is taking our advice… Forget Romney and Santorum- Hit OBAMA!

Romney and Santorum seek edge in 20th debate tonight

MESA, Ariz. (AP) — Struggling for an edge, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum campaigned Wednesday into the 20th and possibly final debate of the roller-coaster race for the Republican presidential nomination.

Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul rounded out the debate roster six days before primaries in Arizona and Michigan.

In the hours leading to the event, Romney called for a 20 percent across-the-board cut in personal income taxes as part of a program he said would revitalize the economy and help create jobs. The top tax rate would drop from 35 percent to 28 percent, and some popular breaks would be scaled back for upper-income taxpayers. However, aides provided scant details.

“We’ve got to have more jobs, less debt and smaller government, they go together,” Romney said in an appearance in nearby Chandler. “By lowering those marginal rates, we help businesses that pay at the individual tax rate to have more money so they can hire more people.”

Romney’s proposal sharpened his differences with President Barack Obama, who favors allowing tax cuts enacted under former President George W. Bush to expire on higher incomes.

Santorum, who has emerged as Romney’s leading challenger in the Republican race, campaigned at a tea party gathering in Tucson, where he said his rival’s new tax proposal largely mirrored one he had had already made.

“Welcome to the party, governor, it’s great to have you along,” he said.

The debate came as yet another pivot point approached in a campaign that already has had more than its share of them. With a decision by Romney, Santorum and Paul to pull out of another joint event that had been set for Atlanta, there were indications this debate could be the last.

That would be nice- Pick One!

  96. According to the 2012 Index of Dependence on Government, produced annually by The Heritage Foundation, they report more than 70 percent of all federal spending goes to dependency programs.

How much of federal spending goes to Catholic hospitals, universities, etc?
