You’ll Have To Fake It – Happy New Year!

Well we waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. But here we are, a few hours until the new year, waiting still. We thought perhaps a Christmas Miracle would occur. Perhaps Hanukkah Harry would come to the rescue. But it was for naught. The wait was in vain. The year ends as it began – Obama on a long vacation, the economy gearing up for a dive, no HOPE, no Change.

Big Media? It’s still in the shill for Boob Obama business. Richard Benedetto formerly White House correspondent for USA Today says it again:

“Over the past five months, the Republican presidential candidates participated in 13 debates where they fielded dozens of penetrating questions on every major issue facing the nation, and some not so major. [snip]

Yet, during all that time, the man they hope to defeat next November has rarely been asked by news reporters about many of these issues. [snip]

No questions on immigration, no questions on Iran or Iraq or Afghanistan or Israel or North Korea — global trouble spots the GOP candidates have been queried about repeatedly. Moreover, he was not asked about what spending cuts he would make to reduce the deficit, nothing about Medicare and Social Security reform or his health care law, all familiar questions for the Republicans seeking his job.

Obama’s ability to avoid tough questions, skate above the fray and look presidential while his potential successors appear to be futilely flailing is not by accident. It is by White House design, abetted by a press corps that seems content with being shut out by the president and being spoon-fed the message of the day, rather than clamoring for more chances to ask him questions during this critical time.”

As Benedetto points out, it has been Hillary Clinton who has spoken out regarding the potential fraud in Russian elections. The death of a North Korean parasite was left to Hillary to deal with. Hillary remains hard at work, Obama vacations.

As Bennedetto notes Obama has been silent on the Strait of Hormuz situation – perhaps he will say “pretty please” to the Iranian totalitarians. On Iran and Syria Obama has been silent yet he has found time to make “miss you” Love calls to Reggie.

Big Media still pines and shills for Obama, but Big Media is increasingly isolated. The dogs refuse to eat the dog food praised by Big Media. Meanwhile, young people have discovered their voice, their palate, and their empty wallets:

“In 2008, the youth vote helped sweep Barack Obama into office. Americans 18-29 spread the word on social media, energized fundraising and went to the polls.

In 2012, the youth vote is moving on and throwing those omnipresent “Hope” bumper stickers and t-shirts in garbage bins.

Not because of apathy. Not because another candidate generates more enthusiasm. Not because of his character. Not because they think voting is pointless. The 18-29 vote is up for grabs in 2012 because youth can’t afford cars to put bumper stickers on and those t-shirts are worn out from too many days sitting on the couch unemployed.

The sobering reality: just 55.3 percent of Americans between 16 and 29 have jobs. And earlier this year, Americans’ student loan debt surpassed credit card debt for the first time ever.”

Someone tell Claire McCaskill that young voters are not so hot for Obama now.

At every level Big Media had a rough year. It turned out that their idol is a kind of a White House recluse who moans for Reggie, not them. But all was not lost. Obama is still their most corrupt pet of all:

“For a few measly millions, Wall Street not only bought itself a president, but got the start-up firm of B. H. Obama & Co. LLC to throw a cabinet into the deal, too — on remarkably generous terms. President Obama, for a guy prone to delivering prim and smug little homilies denouncing greed, greed, greed — the only of the seven deadly sins that truly offends Democrats (though Mrs. Obama has done some desultory work on gluttony) — is strangely comfortable among the Gordon Gekkos of this world. Shall we have a partial roll call? Beat the drum slowly and call out the names: With unemployment still topping 9 percent, the catastatic world economy teetering on the brink of another, even larger financial catastrophe, and trillion-dollar U.S. deficits as far as the green-shaded eye can see, let’s hear it for Obama’s first National Economic Council director, Lawrence Summers (of hedge-fund giant D. E. Shaw and venture-capital firm Andreessen Horowitz), who has had some nice paydays courtesy of Lehman Bros., JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup. Let’s hear it for Citigroup’s Michael Froman, deputy assistant to the president and deputy national-security adviser for international economic affairs, for Hartford Financial’s Neal Wolin, deputy Treasury secretary, for JPMorgan’s William Daley, Obama’s chief of staff, and for his predecessor, Rahm Emanuel of Wasserstein Perella. Let’s hear it for Fannie Mae’s Tom Donilon, national-security adviser. (No, seriously: One of the luminous interstellar geniuses who brought Fannie Mae to its current aphotic state of affairs, upside down to the tune of trillions of dollars, is running national security, and the former director of the White House Military Office, Louis Caldera, was on the board of IndyMac when it finally went toes up — sleep tight, America!) And, lest we forget, let’s have three big, sloppy cheers for economic-transition team leaders Robert Rubin (Goldman Sachs, Citigroup) and folksy tax enthusiast/ghoulish billionaire vulture Warren Buffett.

That’s a pretty fantastic lineup, from Wall Street’s point of view, but the real bonus turned out to be Treasury secretary Tim Geithner, who came up through the ranks as part of the bipartisan Robert Rubin–Hank Paulson–Citigroup–Goldman Sachs cabal. Geithner, a government-and-academe man from way back, never really worked on Wall Street, though he once was offered a gig as CEO of Citigroup, which apparently thought he did an outstanding job as chairman of the New York Fed, where one of his main tasks was regulating Citigroup — until it collapsed into the yawning suckhole of its own cavernous ineptitude, at which point Geithner’s main job became shoveling tens of billions of federal dollars into Citigroup, in an ingeniously structured investment that allowed the government to buy a 27 percent share in the bank, for which it paid more than the entire market value of the bank. If you can’t figure out why you’d pay 100-plus percent of a bank’s value for 27 percent of it, then you just don’t understand high finance or high politics.

But high finance is not the only corporate mystery to be unraveled here: President Obama’s repetitious denunciations of Big Oil have not stopped his man David Axelrod’s firm from setting up Astroturf campaigns on behalf of Exelon subsidiary ComEd, or stopped the president from appointing GE chief executive/tax-minimization engineer/offshoring guru/bailout baby Jeff Immelt to his risible White House jobs commission, or choosing former Kraft and Duke Energy board member Mary Schapiro to run the SEC.”

Yup, Exelon, again. Exelon of the radioactive leaks and the Obama lies. It’s too painful to quote any more from that article. Too painful on New Year’s Eve. Our earlier predictions hold: “elect a boob, expect boobery”. Elect the treacherous, expect treachery. Elect the selfish, expect selfishness. Elect the lazy, expect laziness.

But tonight, like a night at the theater, is a time to gaze at the stars of possibility and beauty. Ignore the broken shells and dirt at your feet. Lift a glass of cheer at midnight and drown out the night and bring on the light:

“So tonight we raise a glass full of good cheer and songs in praise of real hope for real change and unwavering love for the possibilities of tomorrow – and drink deep. We’ll think of those still with us, those in shadow, and those who one day we hope to see again.”

Happy New Year! Even if you have to fake it, Happy New Year! And it will be a happy new year – at least the last two months.

Festival Of Lights

There is a lot of ugliness these days. There is a lot of beauty these days too. This Hanukkah and Christmas season (Festivus too) we are luxuriating in the beauty. We’ll continue with more parts of Draft Hillary Or Die during this lovely season. A few comments about the attacks on Big Pink as a “Republican ratf*cking operation” appear as an addendum at the end of this article.

Ah, the beauty.

The “Arab Spring” we denounced as an Islamist monstrosity when it struck at Egypt has turned into Arab Hell. As the Muslim Brotherhood misogynists gain power over Egypt we have been proven right that an “Iron Veil” has fallen over Egypt. The good news??? The sisters are doing it for themselves – fighting back:

“Historians called the event the biggest women’s demonstration in modern Egyptian history, the most significant since a 1919 march against British colonialism inaugurated women’s activism here, and a rarity in the Arab world. It also added a new and unexpected wave of protesters opposing the ruling military council’s efforts to retain power and its tactics for suppressing public discontent.

The protest’s scale stunned even feminists here. In Egypt’s stiffly patriarchal culture, previous attempts to organise women’s events at Tahrir Square during this year’s protests almost always fizzled or, in one case in March, ended in the physical harassment of a small group of women by a larger crowd of men.

“It was amazing the number of women that came out from all over the place,” said Zeinab Abul-Magd, a historian who has studied women’s activism here. “I expected fewer than 300.”

The march abruptly pushed women to the centre of Egyptian political life after they had been left out almost completely. Although women stood at the forefront of the initial revolt that ousted President Hosni Mubarak in February, few had prominent roles in the various revolutionary coalitions formed in the uprising’s aftermath. Almost no women have won seats in the early rounds of parliamentary elections. [snip]

The women’s demand for a voice in political life appeared to run counter to the recent election victories of conservative Islamists. But the march was hardly dominated by secular liberals. It contained a broad spectrum of Egyptian women, including homemakers demonstrating for the first time and young mothers carrying babies, with a majority in traditional Muslim head scarves and a few in face-covering veils. And their chants mixed calls for women’s empowerment with others demanding more “gallantry” from Egyptian men. [snip]

In Washington on Monday, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton called the recent events in Egypt “shocking.”

“Women are being beaten and humiliated in the same streets where they risked their lives for the revolution only a few short months ago,” Ms Clinton said. “Women are being attacked, stripped, and beaten in the streets,” she added, arguing that what she called the systematic degradation of Egyptian women “disgraces the state and its uniform.”

We commend these Egyptian women for fighting back. But they are misguided in that they continue to respect their oppressors. These women must some day soon realize that there is much more than the military government they have to protest against. It’s like Hillary supporters who reject Obama but still support what was once the “Democratic Party”.

Women of Egypt: supporting those who you once thought were allies but who in reality are your oppressors is a losing strategy. Develop yourselves and get out of the veal pen.

It’s Hanukkah. The Festival of Lights. Ah Egypt, Ah Israel, Ah Beauty. Israel in Egypt:

הודה המכב:

“He led the Maccabean revolt against the Seleucid Empire (167–160 BCE) and is acclaimed as one of the greatest warriors in Jewish history alongside Joshua, Gideon and David.

The Jewish feast of Hanukkah (“Dedication”) commemorates the restoration of Jewish worship at the temple in Jerusalem in 165 BCE, after Judah Maccabee removed the pagan statuary.”

In these troubled days for Israel, a Gideon will arise. Be not afeard.

Meanwhile, for those tired of waiting, Bibi, who is proudly Jewish, takes some time to say something courageous: Merry Christmas!

Matt Damon who attacks Palin and others as stupid, we have called stupid. Now stupid is denouncing his golden calf:

“Matt Damon rips President Obama in Elle magazine, blasting his leadership qualities and saying he’d prefer “a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done.” [snip]

“I’ve talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grassroots level,” says Damon. “One of them said to me, ‘Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politician.’” [snip]

“Imagine if they had a leader,” wonders Damon.”

Notice how stupid Matt Damon does what the LeftTalkers do? Instead of putting the blame directly on Barack Obama the blame is spread around to all “politicians.” It’s the “pols are pols” defense of Obama by the LeftTalkers who fluffed Big Media “darling” Barack Obama. They don’t want to admit they were wrong and we have been right. The problem is Obama. The problem is Obama enablers. The problem is the Obama Dimocratic Party.

Bill Clinton is keeping his mouth shut for now, but as we updated yesterday his silence speaks volumes. Again, Big Media enabled, protected, promoted, selected, Barack Obama in 2008:

“Bill Clinton agreed with Bill O’Reilly tonight on The Factor that the American press favored Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primary. Clinton went on to say he has an opinion on why they picked Obama but that he was going to keep it to himself… “There was more to it than that last time.

Bill knows it was Barzini Ted Kennedy, Kerry, Reid, Pelosi, Daschle and other corrupt “leaders” who selected Obama and Big Media enabled – but revenge is best served cold. Strike at the right time. (And, we don’t repeat the gossip but it does make us laugh and recognize the truth in this gossip.)

There is a time for silence and a time for shouts.

* * * * * * * *

We are the unforgiven. “Dumbledore says people find it far easier to forgive others for being wrong than being right,” said Hermione.” We don’t want forgiveness. It is for us to forgive, and we don’t forgive or forget those who enabled Obama to wreak havoc on this country and destroy the once great Democratic Party of FDR.

A few weeks after we launched this website Republican Penny Noonan from the editorial pages of the Wall Street Journal attacked us. Tim Russert on Meet the Press joined in the attack. We were attacked by just about every Republican/conservative and every Obama Dimocrat (and that is from around the entire world not just the U.S.) right from the beginning. The Obama worshipers still attack us every day in blog after blog.

Now some latter day Kook is again calling us a “Republican ratf*cking operation”. That is what the DailyKooks called us right from the beginning because we dared attack Barack Obama. We were either a “Republican ratf*cking operation” or “batsh*t crazy” or “deadenders” to these Damonish fools.

This Kook who is attacking us as “Republican ratf*ckers” is a self confessed Obama fan and Hillary hater. He says “I was not a hugeHillary fan…. I didn’t like the idea of dynasty… I simply thought that the Clinton name was damaged… I took at that time an ABC — Anyone But Clinton — attitude. I even supported Obama.” And this fool is preaching to us????

Since the very beginning we have made it clear we do not worship Hillary or Bill Clinton. We respect them. More importantly Bill and Hillary Clinton are the only clear avenues to resurrecting the winning, on principles, Democratic Party of FDR.

We have often written that the return of the Democratic Party of FDR and Hillary Clinton is necessary to this democracy. A principled and strong Republican Party is necessary too. These two principled parties can then engage in a debate to gain the loyalties of the sovereign American people and be rewarded with the consent of the governed.

We have noticed among some Obama opponents of the left a desire to slightly denounce Obama and continue to praise the “Democrats” and their alleged “principles”. We find this disgusting. Obama must be removed from power along with all those who enabled them and that includes the hypocrite left that used misogyny and race-baiting to force Obama on the electorate.

“It’s not just Barack Obama that must be removed before the Democratic Party can be resurrected and made whole once again. These creeps with their own versions of prejudice and racism, sexism and misogyny, must be purged fully from the party. These rotten trees must be burnt down.

Corruption will come from corruption – that is a law of reality that will not be denied. How Obama was gifted the Democratic nomination, his entire history of corruptions in Chicago, his associations and alliances cannot be erased – rather they write the future.”

Those that damn Obama but continue to support, indeed seek to elect, his corrupt enablers are Obama enablers themselves. Like those women in Egypt they need to reject the entire apparatus of oppression. Obama is the problem along with his enablers in the entire Dimocratic Party.

We reject Obama, the Obama Dimocratic Party, and anyone or anything that collaborates or enables these corrupt forces. Until the Democratic Party of FDR and Hillary Clinton returns we will continue to denounce and oppose Barack Obama and the Obama Dimocratic Party. That is our good news and our little pink light on the democratic menorah this holiday season.

Happy Hannukah. Merry Christmas.

Draft Hillary Or Die, Part I

Update: Thank you for the miles of smiles you bring to us today Republican/conservative HotAir. And yup, he has a book of exactly what you describe. Bill Clinton: Why yes, the media did favor Obama over Hillary three years ago:

Via Fox News Insider, this clip shouldn’t be as gratifying as it is. Surely no one needs Bill Clinton to tell them that the press was neck-deep in the tank for The Unicorn Prince in 2008. But it is gratifying, partly because of the hint of lingering resentment in Clinton’s reaction and partly because of the extra little shadow of illegitimacy it casts on Obama’s victory. It’s no secret that BJ didn’t think much of O during the campaign — remember this infamous exchange he reportedly had with Ted Kennedy? — but to see him acknowledge this when we’re on the cusp of another campaign where the media will be neck-deep in the tank for Obama is oddly comforting. Forget the bit at the end where he hedges on media bias against the GOP and never mind that, if asked, he would surely say he thinks Obama would have beat Hillary without the press’s help (she did end up winning New Hampshire, after all). Those are stock answers that any good soldier would offer for his party. The one about Hillary is not, which is what makes it so striking. No one’s under any illusions about the media’s corruption, including the elder statesmen in their favored party.

I’ll bet he has a little scrapbook stashed somewhere filled with stories like this.

The enemy of my enemy…
temporary alliance… sure to annoy those in the veal pen… NObama!

We promised to publish several articles about Hillary 2012. We promised the articles would begin to appear in September. There are reasons why we did not keep our promise.

By summer we were led to understand something was going to happen in September that might cause a change in the line of succession in the United States. Originally Barack Obama was set to stab Israel in the back at the United Nations and that Obama treachery would have had domestic consequences and a possible resignation. But that treachery was averted by Palestinian bumbling and miscalculations at the U.N. and a smart Hillary Clinton.

Something else, something much more important, then happened on September 13. As we tried to piece together the information we received piecemeal, in order to finish our promised articles, more information came into our possession.

The information we received was that votes were being taken at labor union executive meetings asking about Barack Obama. What we were told, from long time reliable friends and sources, was that certain U.S. Senators and Democrats were requesting union locals to survey their boards on the question of whether Barack Obama deserved reelection. What was odd was that the unions were asked to tape record the responses and provide them to these senators.

The responses were not what our sources expected. What we were told happened at these private executive board meetings was a wave of yelled anger against Barack Obama. The board members who did the most yelling and expressed the most anger were black women and black men members of the various executive committees.

As we called other sources to ask about the meaning of these votes, to be tape recorded, we were asked to let things play out and not expose these votes. We complied with these requests so that the meetings could proceed without interruption. We complied because there were other activities and non-activities which persuaded us that was the right course to take. We’ll explain as much as we can in the next installments of this series.

We postponed our articles. On September 13, something amazing happened which stopped the U.N. treachery:

“Today’s election in Queens/Brooklyn is an eviction notice to Barack Obama to vacate the White House. There are two very important lessons that will emerge from today:

(1) The attempt by Barack Obama to revive his dead presidency with a fake jobs bill has failed. The fake jobs bill was always a fake. It was an attempt to fool worried Dimocrats that Obama has the cojones to fight, if not win. But Obama has already caved and it has been announced Obama will take whatever cold fish the Republicans slap him with smack on his face. Obama had to cave. No one is impressed by a Boob who can’t rally the troops or win an election in the deepest of blue areas.

(2) If the strong and corrupt Dimocratic machines in Queens/Brooklyn can’t bludgeon voters to support Obama/Weprin then no district, precinct, ward is safe for Obama Dimocrats. No one should think that Bob Turner, the Republican, is a sure win or even a close win in a district that has rejected Republicans since 1923. The political machine in the 9th district and in Queens is a powerful dynastic machine of Weprins, Staviskies, Vallones and Crowleys. Even a close election result will be a massive achievement for the NOBAMA Coalition.”

September 13, was indeed Dump Obama Or Die Day – the Republicans won the election. It is fear of what the election results will be in November 2011 that drives a great deal of what is happening behind the scenes. Fear of what the election results will be in November 2011 also drives a lot of what is beginning to happen out in the open:

N.H. voters should draft Hillary

We argued in a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed piece that President Barack Obama should stand down and let Secretary of State Hillary Clinton run as the Democratic presidential nominee in 2012.

We are now calling on Democratic voters nationally — particularly in New Hampshire — to organize a write-in campaign for Clinton. This is something that New Hampshire voters have a long history of doing.

We advocate this Draft Hillary movement not because of the desire to make political mischief — but to put the country on the right course.”

Just the mere talk of this is political mischief that hurts Barack Obama’s reelection. Just talk of “Draft Hillary” reminds many of the Mistake In ’08 and the never to reconcile Hillary supporters who reject Obama and the Obama Dimocratic Party. And there are many of us. [I have a short conversation between my friend Rumana and President Clinton this afternoon at a book signing in Chappaqua.  Here is Rumana’s synopsis: I said you should go to S4h FB page and see we are encouraging her. He put his hand on my shoulder and said if lot more people encourage her maybe she will run. I said Mr. President we are talking about 2012 please do something. He said she needs to know you are there for her and I said please tell her.”]

Just the mere talk of “Draft Hillary 2012” injures Barack Obama and reminds us all what a colossal failure Barack Obama is:

“It’s clear that Obama has been unable to build consensus and, with the polarizing campaign he is now running, will be unable to govern effectively even if reelected. Only Clinton can commit the Democratic Party — and, indeed, the nation — to a unification and healing process. This could allow Washington, in a bipartisan manner, to finally address the economic and governmental crises that now grip America.

We are facing a crisis of national leadership, so citizens should step up and take charge of their country the way demonstrators in the Middle East did earlier this year. And, stunningly, as the people of Russia are now doing.

It’s time to take the decision about America’s leadership out of the hands of the established powers and return it to the citizens of our country. That opportunity to change U.S. politics will appear in the second week of 2012 in New Hampshire.”

Many will scoff, particularly those too tired to fight. But remember, just the mere talk of “Draft Hillary 2012” hobbles the corrupt criminal Chicago clown. In their call for citizens to seize control and “Draft Hillary 2012” Schoen and Caddell echo must of what we have written particularly in regards to what big dollar donors must do:

“To seize this moment two things are required:

First, and most important, ordinary Democrats and independents in New Hampshire should mobilize behind a grass-roots effort to write in Clinton’s name during the Jan. 10 Democratic primary.

Second, a committed group of Democrats with resources and stature needs to help facilitate an authentic citizens’ movement — independent of party structure, Clinton and organized interests — to support a massive New Hampshire write-in campaign and put this before a deeply disaffected electorate.

There is already an online petition to draft Clinton, created by Democrats.

“We the undersigned Democrats want a new Democratic nominee for president who can win in 2012. We are convinced that the only person with the national stature, experience … who can win in the general election in 2012 is Hillary Rodham Clinton. We are fully prepared to take matters in to our own hands and launch our own massive write-in campaign,” it reads.

Even if one does not agree with their every argument, we urge everyone who shares our beliefs go to that website now — and to tell their friends to go to there and sign it.”

That website, with every view and every signature, hurts Barack Obama’s reelections and reminds everyone that:

“And to the Democratic National Committee Chair, Vice Chairs, and Distinguished DNC Members as well as the Superdelegate Members, make no mistake: under NO circumstance will we cast a vote for your current predetermined choice for nominee, Barack Obama. We will not fall in line like last time in 2008 when we were asked to be “good little Democrats” for the sake of the Party. We all know how that worked out. We are fully prepared to take matters into our own hands and launch our own massive write-in campaign, much like Senator Murkowski’s successful write-in campaign in Alaska.”

Schoen and Caddell warn that Obama is a loser:

“Since 1944, when approval ratings first became reliable, there have been five cases in which the incumbent president had an approval rating below 49 percent a year ahead of the election. Each time, the incumbent party lost.

Obama’s approval rating has dropped to 43 percent — less than Jimmy Carter’s. Obama now has the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history. Many, particularly on the left, have begun to demonstrate with signs reading, “Buyer’s remorse.

In a recent Daily Beast piece, “Hillary Told You So,” angry, frustrated liberals were quoted saying, “No one ever had to tell Hillary” that the economy is crucial, and “Hillary is tougher.”

Indeed, the most active calls for Clinton to run have come from the left — indicating that there is substantial support for this idea across the board and not just from centrist Democrats.”

To hell with the party. The bottom line is that the American people cannot survive another four years of Obama the corrupt, treacherous, incompetent. The country cannot survive a president who has contempt for vast majorities of the American public:

“Certainly, the recent barrage of articles by former Obama allies saying that the White House has lost white, working-class voters — a key part of the Democratic coalition — is cause enough for Clinton, who has been that voting bloc’s champion in the past, to be the Democratic standard-bearer.

Many argue that our approach is impractical and is unlikely to work because Obama will not stand down. But make no mistake, we are political realists.

As political realists, we know that every recent presidential candidate who has emerged — from Obama in 2008 to Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and now Newt Gingrich — has been citizen-driven. The elites have not driven the process; ordinary voters have filled the void.

Such a void exists now.

Clinton pulled off a stunning New Hampshire primary victory over Obama during the 2008 primaries. There is every reason to believe that, as a write-in candidate, she would get a substantial number of votes in the Granite State next year.

New Hampshire is one state where grass-roots politics predominates. As presidential historian Theodore White wrote in 1965, New Hampshire’s primary allows candidates “to appeal directly to people” and “over the heads of the politicians.”

This primary — traditionally well before other primaries — allows independents to cast ballots for either Democrats or Republicans, unlike most other “closed primaries,” in which only registered Democrats and Republicans can vote on their respective parties’ ballots. It’s justly famous for write-in candidates, who often had substantial success.

In 1964, write-in candidate Henry Cabot Lodge had an upset victory over GOP front-runners Barry Goldwater and Nelson Rockefeller. In 1968, incumbent President Lyndon B. Johnson was not on the ballot, but as a write-in, he received nearly 50 percent of all Democratic votes.

A write-in candidacy in 2012 can send a message that the Democratic Party must stand for something more than Obama’s reelection at all costs.

There once was a Democratic Party that cared about the American people. Now the Obama Dimocratic Party only cares about Obama. Obama has got to be driven out:

“We are not asking the president or the secretary of state to take action. We ask the people of the United States, Democrats and, especially, New Hampshire voters to exercise their right to be heard by writing Clinton’s name on the primary ballot.

Voters have had enough of the establishment powers dictating who can run.

All that is needed is a spark on the dry tinder of political frustration and anxiety. A few Democratic patriots can provide the means to make it possible — and change the course of U.S. history.”

Many will scoff at this proposal. But every mention of Democratic opposition to Barack Obama and “draft Hillary” argument hurts Barack Obama’s reelection chances.

What little is left of Barack Obama’s presidency continues to unravel then burn. We now learn that the “universal” heath scam Obama forced through means that the federal government will now be the thug enforcer for Big Insurance companies to extract billions from the American taxpayer and that not much else has been achieved by that corrupt Obama health scam:

“In a major surprise on the politically charged new health care law, the Obama administration said Friday that it would not define a single uniform set of “essential health benefits” that must be provided by insurers for tens of millions of Americans. Instead, it will allow each state to specify the benefits within broad categories.”

On March 26, 27, and 28, the Supreme Court will hear Obamacare arguments – at the height of the Republican campaign season. Obama’s health scam is rejected by most Americans and the argument at the Supreme Court will only help Republicans next year.

The economy continues to sink or stagnate and ugly Obama schemes such as another Social Security threatening payroll tax holiday fall apart. The latest two month payroll tax holiday is such a logistical nightmare that this recent mess is already in trouble.

The country cannot continue in this manner. Leadership is required. Obama must go.

Hillary Clinton In Arabia; Republican Debate Fight Night In Iowa

Update: It’s the final battle. It’s Armageddon. It’s Iowageddon. It’s the Sioux City Debate. It’s 9:00 p.m. (ET) on Fox News.

The LiveStream is HERE.

The final, in Iowa, Republican debate of the year is tonight and our comments section will monitor it. Aside from the debacles of the Obama-made-it-worse-economy, a debate discussion of the Middle East is desperately needed.

In a sense many of the foreign policy issues that require debate discussion in 2011 are directly related to the Barack Obama versus Hillary Clinton debates of 2007/2008. Obama’s “no preconditions” promises and flip-flops to dictators and enemies of America proved back in 2007 that Barack Obama was not and is not qualified to be president of the United States. Hillary Clinton’s clear line in the Arabia sand that an Iran attack on Israel would lead to obliteration of the Persian state was attacked by the Obama campaign and the crackpot websites of the Kook Left.

None of those issues have disappeared. Quite the contrary. Those very issues are now of the utmost importance. News reports allege that the recent downing of a U.S. drone was due to electronic hijacking of that essential weapons system. The American withdrawal later this month will also essentially leave Iraqi air space free for Israeli jets when Israel is forced to deprive Iran of nuclear weapons with which to threaten the entire region and the world.

This past May we discussed the “Arabs’ lawyer Barack Obama” and his ugly anti-Israel speech:

“What does Hillary Clinton think about the Barack Obama attacks on Israel? There is a concerted campaign of lies and deception about Hillary Clinton and it’s coming from Israel haters, Hillary Clinton haters, and Barack Obama lovers. The attempt is to glue Hillary Clinton to the Obamination which is Barack Obama’s treacherous speech last Thursday attacking Israel.

We wrote about why Barack Obama went to the State Department to deliver his TelePrompTer attack on Israel. It was an attempt to create the impression that Hillary Clinton was on board with his treacherous attack on an ally as well as an attempt to shut down any State Department/Hillary Clinton pro-Israel moves.”

Those attempts to tie Hillary Clinton policies to Obama continue. “She is his Secretary of State” goes the argument. What that argument misses is that Hillary Clinton is having to fight Obama all the way. On Libya, Hillary fought Obama. On Egypt, Hillary fought Obama. Hillary understood the stakes involved, Obama went to Rio.

Hillary understood that as bad as Mubarak was, the Muslim Brotherhood would be worse when, not if, it gained power in a post Mubarak Egypt. Hillary also understood that Libya’s Gaddafi was not an American friend and that getting rid of him would demonstrate that it was not only American allies who would be imperiled by turmoil in the Arab street. Obama only looked to see where he could get applause.

Unlike Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton also understands the need to destabilize and replace the Syrian regime:

“Hillary Clinton has urged the Syrian opposition to build a society that is free of the “whims of a dictator”.

The US Secretary of State spoke after meeting six members of the Syrian National Council, an exile group seeking to end the 41-year rule of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his late father.

She also urged the group to respect the rule of law and minority rights: “Obviously, a democratic transition includes more than removing the Assad regime.

It means setting Syria on the path of the rule of law and protecting the universal rights of all citizens, regardless of sect or ethnicity or gender.

The most recent example of the concerted campaign to tie Hillary Clinton to Obama’s anti-Israel policies involved some rumors of something or other that she supposedly said according to someone or other. What did Hillary (and Panetta and Gutman) say?:

“The U.S. ambassador to Belgium, Howard Gutman, caused an uproar when he suggested on Dec. 1 that hostility among European Arabs and Muslims toward Jews was rooted in anger over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and should be distinguished from traditional forms of anti-Semitism. Jewish groups condemned his remarks, which drew calls for his dismissal from Republican presidential front-runners Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney.

The following day, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta stirred controversy when he told an audience at the Saban Forum, an annual Washington conclave for American and Israeli policymakers, that Israel needs to “get to the damn table” to negotiate with the Palestinians and “mend fences” with its neighbors. The Anti-Defamation League expressed “surprise and dismay” at a speech that it said “disproportionately put the onus on Israel to overcome its isolation.”

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made waves a day later at the Saban Forum when she reportedly expressed some concerns about the state of Israeli democracy. [snip]

They’re “putting all of the onus on Israel, and that’s with Panetta, with Hillary and with the ambassador,” he said. “It’s something that we’ve had a problem with this administration.”

Gingrich and Romney are right to call for the firing of Gutman. If any political figure dared to say that discrimination against blacks was due to the high crime rates and welfare grubbing by blacks, that political figure would be rightly excoriated. As to Leon Panetta, he should stop blaming Israel and start condemning the duplicity of the Palestinian officials and their bad faith “negotiating”. Panetta should remember that it was not Israel that gutted the Bill Clinton peace plan of the 1990s which promised a two state solution – it was the Palestinians.

Panetta must remember that it takes to to tango and two good faith partners required to sign any contract or peace treaty. Israel does not have a good faith adversary with which to negotiate. Panetta is simply wrong to demand negotiations without good faith negotiating from the Arab side:

“In his wide-ranging speech on U.S.-Israel relations, Panetta said that Israel needed to take steps to alleviate its isolation.

“For example, Israel can reach out and mend fences with those who share an interest in regional stability — countries like Turkey and Egypt, as well as Jordan,” Panetta said. “This is an important time to be able to develop and restore those key relationships in this crucial area. This is not impossible. If gestures are rebuked, the world will see those rebukes for what they are. That is exactly why Israel should pursue them.”

After the speech, the Saban Center’s Kenneth Pollack asked Panetta what steps Israel should take to advance peace. Panetta replied, “Just get to the damn table. Just get to the table. The problem right now is we can’t get them to the damn table to at least sit down and begin to discuss their differences — you know, we all know what the pieces are here for a potential agreement.”

Gingrich issued a statement condemning Panetta’s remarks.

“Barack Obama must tell the American people today whether he condemns or condones the deeply wrong statements by his Secretary of Defense and Ambassador to Belgium,” Gingrich said.

The Zionist Organization of America and the Emergency Committee for Israel — both consistent critics of the Obama administration — also blasted Panetta’s remarks. The ADL, however, was the main centrist Jewish group to take public umbrage.

“The Defense Secretary emphasized the shared U.S. and Israeli interest in deepened strategic cooperation and in countering the Iranian threat,” the ADL said in its statement. “But he undermined the sense of assurance that this could have projected by using a prestigious public platform to focus disproportionate responsibility on Israel for the campaign of hostility against her.”

As to Hillary Clinton, there are many who want to create the illusion that the respected Hillary is on their side. These deceivers want to tie Hillary Clinton to the disaster which is Barack Obama on Middle East policy:

“Clinton’s remarks the next day at the Saban Forum were considered off the record and her session was closed to the media. According to news reports based on sources who attended, her speech went over familiar ground, such as the need to restart peace negotiations and the Iranian threat.

But in a question-and-answer session afterward, Clinton reportedly expressed concerns about some aspects of domestic Israeli politics. She was said to have criticized proposed Knesset legislation aimed at curbing foreign funding of Israeli NGOs and gender-segregated bus lines serving haredi Orthodox areas, among other domestic developments.

Israel’s finance minister, Yuval Steinitz, was quoted in the Israeli media calling Clinton’s remarks “totally exaggerated.”

“Israel is a living, breathing liberal democracy,” Steinitz said.

If reported accurately, Foxman said, Clinton’s comments were “out of line.”

Hillary Clinton reportedly speaking out against proposed gender restricted busing legislation before the Knesset is neither shocking nor inappropriate. Because the Hillary remarks are not direct quotes they are difficult to confirm, condemn or condone. But, women’s rights are a hallmark of Hillary’s life work. Abe Foxman of the ADL made some inaccurate assertions as to what Hillary “reportedly” said:

“This is a secretary of state who certainly doesn’t go out to the Arab Muslim world and criticize them for inequalities,” the ADL leader said. “Sure, Israel is not perfect, human rights could use improvement, but my God, in comparison, I think it’s inappropriate, it’s excessive.”

Clinton has spoken about abuses of women’s rights in the Islamic world. In an April address at the U.S.-Islamic World Forum in Washington, she cited progress on addressing abuses of women’s rights in some Muslim countries and condemned those “who are actually working to undermine this progress and export a virulently anti-woman ideology to other Muslim communities.”

Foxman and the Republican candidates tonight should condemn without hesitation or reservation – Barack Obama. Yeah, the guy who has never visited Israel not even when he spoke to “the Muslim world” in his Cairo abomination speech. Obama snubbed Israel when he spoke to the Muslim world and the Muslim world saw that snub as well as Obama bowing to Muslim kings and princes in Saudi Arabia.

The Republican candidates for president need to speak out on Obama’s Middle East mess. Already in “respected” foreign policy circles idiot suggestions are being made which contradict the clear lines Hillary Clinton drew in 2007. These so-called “experts” think being nice to Iran is the way to go, appearing to blink, spinelessness, weakness is their advice:

“The United States Takes the Military Option “off the Table” with Iran

For at least a decade, U.S. leaders have repeatedly insisted that all options are “on the table” with Iran. In one sense this is a truism: as long as you have certain capabilities, you always have the option of using them no matter what you’ve said in the past. But constantly harping on the possibility of military action is not a good way to build trust — especially when the opponent is already deeply suspicious.”

These same “experts” mainline Hopium and indulge themselves in delusions about terrorists:

“But imagine what could happen if Hamas announced it was dropping the most offensive (and stupid) clauses in its current charter? It could still adopt a hardline position on other matters, and still try to portray Fatah as corrupt, inept, or heavily compromised. But by providing an unmistakable signal that Hamas was willing to dump some of its most extreme claims, revising the Charter could open a path towards the organization’s participation in the peace process (which is probably necessary if it is ever to succeed), and thus be a potential game-changer.”

Read the Hamas Charter (HERE) and try to imagine that their actions will ever change just because of a change of words on a piece of paper.

Republicans need to discuss and clearly outline what they would do in the Middle East. After all, Ron Paul can win in Iowa and he might have some smart answers on domestic matters and constitutional issues, but on foreign policy, Ron Paul is nuts.

Ron Paul is nuts on foreign policy which is one sure reason for Andrew Sullivan to endorse Paul:

“We do not need to prevent China’s rise, but to accommodate it as prudently as possible. We do need to get out of the Middle East to the maximum extent and return our relationship with Israel to one between individual nations, with different interests and common ideals, not some divine compact between two Zions. We do need a lighter, more focused, more lethal war against Jihadism – but this cannot ever again mean occupying countries we do not understand and cannot control. I suspect every other Republican would launch a war against Iran. Paul wouldn’t. That alone makes a vote for him worthwhile.”

That’s the same Andrew Sullivan who praised “Obama’s face” as the way to get Muslims to love America among other foolishness. Sullivan hated Hillary and Israel but loved Obama in 2007/2008. Now Sullivan is up to the same tricks. There are reasons why “conservative” Sullivan joins the left kooks and why Sullivan hates Hillary and loves Obama:

“That America would even think of abandoning Israel is an Obamination. That anyone doubts Iranian intentions of another holocaust against American ally Israel as well as opposition to American ideals and values is madness. The Obama Dimocratic Left is crazed and dangerous [snip]

These people are crazed and dangerous. They were kept in a cage when Bill and Hillary Clinton were in the White House. Now, with Obama skewing the rudder, they are uncaged and wild.”

Rick Perry, if no question on the topic is asked tonight, should speak out as he has recently on Israel and the Middle East. As the Associated Press recently reported, Obama is in trouble with American Jews and supporters of Israel. Perry should speak out on these issues. All the Republican candidates should speak out on these issues.

Right now, Barack Obama appears to be a dead man walking. An American Crossroads ad shows the clear path to electoral victory for the GOP.

Even Obama supporters expect Obama to lose. The Obama campaign clowns continue to crow about “five graves paths to victory” but there is only one Obama and Obama is the problem.

Obama is the problem and the first step is to get rid of him. But then what? Republicans tonight, on this last debate of the year 2011, need to provide the solutions to problems both at home and abroad. The Middle East is growing ever more dangerous. Israel might discipline Iran once that Iraqi air space is abandoned. What then?

Republicans tonight should tell Americans what they intend to do about the entire Middle East and take on “no preconditions” Obama directly. The problem is Obama not the other candidates. Obama must go.

The ‘Get Gingrich At Drake’ ABC Republican Debate

Have you noticed what little scrutiny establishment candidates receive at debates? In the 2008 election cycle Hillary Clinton performed brilliantly while Barack Obama usually stumbled and bumbled – the exception being when he would simply repeat Hillary’s answers. Obama was the establishment candidate of Ted Kennedy, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

This election cycle candidate after candidate has been beaten up on at the Republican debates – the exception being Romney. Pawlenty got beaten up because he refused to beat up on Romney. Rick Perry got the beat up treatment. Herman Cain got the beat up treatment. Tonight it is “Get Newt Night.”

Tonight’s penultimate GOP debate of the year will be broadcast on ABC (9:00 ET). Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos will moderate the debate from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Jon Huntsman will not attend due to poor poll numbers and of course Herman Cain has been chased off.

Tonight’s “Duel At Drake” will provide both Gingrich and Romney the opportunity to bludgeon each other. Perhaps Rick Perry might get in the act too and resuscitate his campaign:

“There is some chatter in Republican political circles that Perry’s ads are (finally) starting to take hold in the Hawkeye State and that his support is beginning to bump upward.

No polling has begun to pick up on that movement just yet — he placed fourth with 11 percent among likely Iowa caucus-goers in a poll sponsored by the Washington Post and ABC News — but keep an eye on the numbers over the next week to ten days to see if Perry can make the difficult leap from spoiler to contender in Iowa.”

Tonight’s debate is attracting the attention usually reserved for world champion boxing matches starring Muhammad Ali. The Republican candidates should not forget that the economy is supposed to be the topic tonight and the economy is not doing well:

“The average US household lost $21,261 of net worth this summer, the largest decline in family wealth in nearly three years.

The drop in the third quarter, tied to falling home values and a cratering stock market, is the second straight quarter of eroding wealth, according to the Federal Reserve’s quarterly report, released Thursday.”

At tonight’s debate the Republican candidates should remember who is the enemy and who is a future ally. The Republican candidates should read the latest CBS poll wherein 54% of Americans say Obama does not deserve reelection:

“Since his speech to a joint session of Congress in early September, Obama has vigorously positioned himself as the champion of the middle and working classes, attacking Republicans as the party of the wealthy and pushing for redistributive policies, including those in his so-called “jobs bill” that even Democrats wouldn’t pass. That strategy has been a total flop. The numbers on the question of whether Obama shares the priorities of voters fell to the worst in the CBS series, 41/54, not coincidentally the same percentage as the question of whether Obama deserves re-election. In April, that was 43/53, and in May 2010 — as Obama headed for a historical mid-term rebuke — it was 45/47. It hasn’t changed the perception that Obama is helping Wall Street more than average Americans (42/38).

The damage can be seen in the question of whether Obama has been a uniter or a divider (38/47), with independents breaking 35/48 on the question. Obama is also -18 among independents on the re-election question, 37/55, a harbinger of disaster in November. Even while Obama keeps fanning the flames of class warfare, no one is sure what Obama intends to do with a second term anyway. Two-thirds don’t have a clear idea on his second-term goals (32/66) — and that includes a majority of Democrats (46/52) along with more than two-thirds of independents (29/69).

Obama’s reboot as a class warrior has not changed the trajectory of his decline. In some ways, it appears to have accelerated it. This might explain the new theme of desperately trying to tie himself to Teddy Roosevelt’s legacy, but if this poll gives any indication, Obama will end up going the way of the Bull Moose”

Eyes on the Prize Republican guys and gal.

Tonight the Republican debate, our next article will be the promised Hillary article.

Days Of Infamy

We did not commemorate last month’s Veterans Day. We just did not have the heart to do so. We thought of all the sacrifices by generations of Americans, especially our veterans, and tried to convince ourselves that it was all worth it. Was it? Look at how low our nation has fallen.

At Walter Reed National Medical Center those Americans that Obama despises as “clinging” to religion and guns were told “no Bibles.” At a time of great suffering and peril Walter Reed Medical Center bureaucrats told family members they could not bring Bibles to injured soldiers.

After protests the military bureaucrats rescinded the order banning Bibles or any other religious reading materials to loved ones injured in battle. The question that has to be asked is why such an order existed in the first place? What mentality is it, in the most powerful recesses of American government, that would ban ritual practices or readings that many who are in pain seek out?

Why deny the beautiful poetry found in the Bible to those in distress? Why deny believers the right to practice their religion and beliefs at a moment when even ardent atheists sometimes find solace and peace in religious devotions?

The wishes of believers and non-believers should be respected, especially at times of danger to life or limb. Proselytizers leaving unwanted materials might be a problem but to establish a policy banning all religious materials at a hospital is itself sick and betrays a contempt for beliefs many Americans “cling” to especially at desperate hours watching a loved one in pain or withering away. Why is this happening in America?

Today former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison because of his public corruptions. The previous governor of Illinois was sentenced to 6 years for his public corruptions. District Judge James Zagel on why he gave Blagojevich 14 years in prison:

“The sentence is the longest received by any Illinois governor and one of the longest for any politician in state history.

“When it is the governor who goes bad, the fabric of Illinois is torn and disfigured and not easily or quickly repaired,” U.S. District Judge James Zagel said in announcing how long Blagojevich should spend in prison after being convicted of 18 corruption charges that included attempting to sell or trade an appointment to fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by the election of President Barack Obama. “You did that damage.” [snip]

Just moments later, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald called the whole case “profoundly sad” and said having two Illinois governors convicted in a century is too many — let alone two in the past five years.

This has to stop,” Fitzgerald said of corruption in Illinois. He said stiff sentences for corruption “can and should change behavior in a significant number of people.” [snip]

The judge also issued fines and assessments totaling nearly $22,000. [snip]

But Zagel noted the damage caused by Blagojevich “is not measured in the value of money and property. The harm is the erosion of the public trust in government; [people’s] confidence in and trust in government.

Prosecutor Fitzgerald and Judge Zagel have done nothing to stop the corruption from erupting again in Illinois. Putting Blagojevich in prison will not deter the public corruption in Illinois.

Blagojevich has been turned into a pauper, that is all Fitzgerald and Zagel have achieved. Blagojevich does not have sufficient money to pay for his own lawyers nor does he have enough money to keep his house. But the more corrupt officials of Illinois will continue to live in splendor in their Rezko housing. The big crooks, the Jackels and Jekylls who made the money and got the property will continue to vacation in the White House in Washington and in the Rezko House of Hyde Park:

“Judge, the defendant is corrupt, he was corrupt the day he took office, he was corrupt until the day he was arrested,” Schar told Zagel. “Judge, the people have had enough. They have had enough of this defendant. They have had enough of people like him.

A message must be sent to the people of Illinois that when they are victimized by corruption — their frustration, their disappointment, their cynicism, their disenfranchisement from the political process, they’re being heard.

Chicago Clown

Blagojevich got caught and punished but the people of Illinois and America will continue to be “victimized by corruption” because Barack Obama remains at large. The corruptions continue to afflict. From the Rezko House to the White House, the corruptions paved the way:

“Charity Rorie, a mother of four, sat in her Mishawaka, Ind., kitchen, stunned that her name appeared on a 2008 Democratic presidential primary petition for then-candidate Barack Obama.

That’s not my signature,” she told Fox News, saying her signature is “absolutely” a fake. She also said she was troubled someone forged both her signature and that of her husband, Jeff, and listed personal details such as their address and birthdays.

“It’s scary,” Rorie said. “It’s shocking. It definitely is illegal. A lot of people have already lost faith in politics and the whole realm of politics, so that just solidifies all of our worries and concerns.”

Robert Hunter Jr. said his name was faked, too.

I did not sign for Barack Obama,” he told Fox News, adding his signature supporting the then-Illinois senator’s effort to get on the primary ballot was also a forgery.

As he examined the Obama petition he held in his hands, Hunter pointed out that “I always put ‘Junior’ after my name, every time … there’s no ‘Junior’ there.” He said the signature on the petition looks “very close” to his real one, but it clearly is not.

My wife and I actually signed a petition for Hillary Clinton,” he said.”

Corruption upon corruption upon corruption – the Obama way:

“The prospect that theirs are two of an estimated 150 signatures that may have been forged on the petitions has raised the question of whether President Obama actually reached the legitimate number of signatures needed to be placed on the ballot in Indiana. Under state law, presidential candidates need to file 500 signatures from each of the state’s nine congressional districts. Indiana election officials say that in St. Joseph County, the Obama campaign qualified with 534 signatures; Clinton’s camp had 704. The certified signatures were never challenged.

“I had always thought that, now-President Obama, had earned his victory in Indiana,” said the state’s Republican chairman, Eric Holcomb. “But then I quickly learned that he had cheated his way on to the ballot in the primary.

The allegations that election fraud touched a race for the highest office in the land are at the center of an investigation by St. Joseph County Attorney Michael Dvorak. He would not comment, but sources say the probe is gaining steam as prosecutors delve into the petitions that sailed through the St. Joseph County Voter Registration Board, located in South Bend. There have been reports that as many as seven people may have been involved in an alleged conspiracy to fake the petitions. [snip]

St. Joseph County Board of Voter Registration worker Dustin Blythe has reportedly been identified as having handwriting that matches the writing on some of the suspect Obama petitions. The South Bend Tribune and the political newsletter Howey Politics Indiana hired a handwriting analyst who examined the documents and says Blythe’s writing can be found on “nine suspicious pages from the Obama petition,” according to the newspaper. [snip]

Blythe’s LinkedIn profile describes him as a “government employee” who is also an “independent contractor/volunteer at Indiana Democratic Party” and a St. Joseph County Democratic Party “volunteer.” His Facebook page includes a photograph of him taken with former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards.”

It was, by all appearances, a “widespread, systematic organized effort by Democrat operatives to cheat the system by forging names of, especially Democrat voters, to put Barack Obama on the presidential ballot for the Democratic presidential primary in 2008.

The corruption will continue until the corrupt are put in prison:

“But voters like Charity Rorie say they feel victimized and are fearful of the message that the scandal sends across the country.

“We have a generation that’s behind us who is not very faithful in making sure that they vote,” she lamented. “I think this isn’t going to help the situation.

“I think that if we need to continue with our children the way that America is supposed to work, then I think it needs to be done correctly.”

Disrespect for the values and institutions of many Americans, public corruptions both punished and unpunished, and the betrayal of friends are the hallmarks in this Age of Fake and Days of Infamy:

“Two of the Democratic Party’s core institutions are challenging a bipartisan consensus on Israel and Palestine that has dominated American foreign policy for more than a decade. [snip]

Events of recent years such as GOP attacks on Obama as insufficiently loyal to Israel, Israel’s controversial raid on a Turkish ship bound for Gaza and debates over the Iranian nuclear program have deepened the divide between some on the Democratic left and the party’s mainstream foreign policy apparatus.

“Like segregation in the American South, the siege of Gaza (and the entire Israeli occupation, for that matter) is a moral abomination that should be intolerable to anyone claiming progressive values,” wrote Matt Duss, a CAP policy analyst and the director of Middle East Progress, last year, after an Israeli raid on a flotilla challenging the blockade of Gaza turned violent.”

That America would even think of abandoning Israel is an Obamination. That anyone doubts Iranian intentions of another holocaust against American ally Israel as well as opposition to American ideals and values is madness. The Obama Dimocratic Left is crazed and dangerous:

“But that more liberal stream of foreign policy thinking, in exile in the Clinton years, was vindicated for some Democrats when its leading voices opposed President Bush’s war in Iraq – a position the rest of the party came to late if at all. And CAP’s new views are, Duss said, in part generational.

“I’m really interested in the way in which America’s experience in the Middle East in the last decade has informed this younger generation of analysts and journalists and veterans,” he said.” [snip]

And Rosenberg told POLITICO that his cadre of writers is looking less to sway votes on Capitol Hill today than to shift the Democratic Party’s conversation and its younger generation. [snip]

But the new tone in Washington is also one that straightforwardly pro-Palestinian voices see as a welcome change, if one that has yet to be accompanied by a shift in American policy.

“What is actually happening is that the discourse that lot of people in the Palestine solidarity community and activists have been engaging in is starting to break down the walls of the Washington bubble,” said Ali Abunimah, a longtime activist and the co-founder of the site Electronic Intifada. “But political intimidation from Israel’s supporters is still a much more powerful force than any change in thinking at the CAP.”

These people are crazed and dangerous. They were kept in a cage when Bill and Hillary Clinton were in the White House. Now, with Obama skewing the rudder, they are uncaged and wild.

They are also deceptive. Recent remarks by Hillary Clinton are twisted to appear to support them. But Hillary Clinton’s remarks in a question and answer session at the Saban Center are the product of hearsay and distortion. Because the Hillary remarks are not direct quotes they are difficult to confirm, condemn or condone. [We will discuss these issues in our next article.]

As the world collapses, almost as if by design not accident, what does Barack Obama do? V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N. 17 days vacation. That is until Willard Mitt Romney stood up:

“President Obama is not vacationing in Hawaii with his wife and children while the extension of the payroll tax holiday remains in limbo, and has warned GOP congressional leaders to stay in town as well.

Obama had planned to fly to Hawaii with his family on Dec. 17 and stay there through New Year’s.

After getting ripped by GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney over his vacation plans, Obama told Senate Democratic leaders Wednesday that he will stay in town until Congress finishes work on the payroll tax holiday, unemployment benefits and other issues. [snip]

“I just think it’s time to have a president those idea of being ‘hands on’ doesn’t mean getting a better grip on the golf club,” Romney told potential caucus voters in Iowa.”

Hooray for Romney!

* * * * * *

So, has it been worth it? Is there cause to believe that America might be worth fighting for? Was it worth it veterans? Seventy years later, do we fight on? Will the nation recover from these Days of Infamy the way it recovered from that long ago Day of Infamy?

Yes, it is worth the fight. Yes, there are reasons to believe America will come out of these days of infamy. Step One is remove Barack Obama and his Obama Dimocratic Party from power. That is happening as more and more Americans see things our way:

“President Obama and his re-election team have prided themselves on their well-oiled get-out-the-vote effort. But a new study from the centrist think tank Third Way suggests Democrats are losing ground organizationally in nearly all of the key battleground states in the general election.

The group’s analysis found that, in the eight politically-pivotal states that register voters by party, a significant number have left the Democratic party since 2008, with many choosing to register as independents. Over 825,000 registered Democrats in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina and Pennsylvania have departed the party rolls since President Obama’s election in 2008, a much more significant share than the number of Republicans (378,000) who have done the same. Meanwhile, the number of registered independents has ticked upwards by 254,000.”

Who do you think leads that exodus from the Obama Dimocratic crackpot party of treachery and corruption? It’s Hillary Clinton Supporters that’s who. As Obama disapproval is over 50% in the Gallup polls, hope rises in America for a new day.

That new day is less than a year away.

The Very Bad News For Newt Gingrich

Update: Mike Huckabee is hosting a presidential “forum” for the Republican presidential candidates tonight. It’s at 8:00 p.m. ET until 10:00. On Fox News cable channel.

Herman Cain will not be there because of today’s events. Jon Huntsman has chosen not to participate. Huckabee has stated attacks will not be tolerated at tonight’s event.

No black man at tonight’s 8:00 p.m. Republican forum which we will monitor. The Obama campaign Big Media affiliate rejoices.

On November 10 of this year panty sniffing JournoListers of Politico orgied in full Herman Cain craziness. Politico JournoListers had already published more Cain sex stories than ever published about the Case of the Missing State Senator. Having never bothered to seek out or interview shivering Rezko tenants and what they had to say about Barack Obama, the Politico Journolisters frenzied on women who had anonymous dirt to throw at Herman Cain.

That tumultuous November day the Herman Cain website celebrated a remarkable fund raising event with a typical graphic of a fund raising thermometer breaking through the goal set by the campaign. JournoLister Ben Smith rubbed his legs and declared the graphic was too graphic. Ben Smith used the fig leaf of “a reader” who thought the “imagery” was “jarring” to expose his own little boy mind. To JournoLister Ben Smith the fundraising thermometer was an ejaculating thermometer.

Today Herman Cain has “suspended,” meaning ended, his campaign for president. No doubt the panty sniffers at Politico will giggle and twitch, rub themselves raw, and declare Cain has “pulled out” giggity giggity, giggle giggle.

Herman Cain has not been blameless in this entire episode. But certainly Herman Cain has been subjected in the past few weeks to more investigation and speculation than Barack Obama has ever endured. Meanwhile the Fast and Furious Friday document dumps continue without much Big Media attention. And that’s why (Chutzbama indeed!) Barack Obama can go on a 17 day vacation to Hawaii this Christmas secure in the knowledge that Big Media is on watch protecting him.

Herman Cain has ended his campaign but there is little to cheer in this episode. If there is any good news it is the report that Politico’s readership has taken a dive (in Politicospeak “readership numbers are flaccid”.) The Professor is correct to write that Politico is following in the dirt path down of MSNBC.

The Professor is also smart to note that the JournoListers have taken an increased interest in someone new[t], now that they have finished off the black man in the race. Yup Newt Gingrich is the new target of the Obama protecting activist base of JournoListers.

To his credit Newt Gingrich has repeatedly warned the other Republican candidates that their enemy is not one another. As we have warned since 2007 the enemy for anyone not actively worshiping Obama is Big Media and the Big Media Party.

The Big Media Party has its own agenda and candidates. The Big Media Party is not, as Big Media “personalities” propagandize, an equal opportunity abuser. The Big Media Party is not about news or “opinion”. The Big Media Party is an activist advocacy apparatus which distorts our politics in more harmful ways than the loathed “big money” fundraisers and lobbyists.

The Big Media Party disposed of Herman Cain today and the very bad news for Newt Gingrich (who will likely inherit the bulk of Cain’s support) is that they are now free to target free-fire zone Newt Gingrich. After Newt is Mitt, Huntsman, whoever is not Obama.
