The Mark Of Cain, ‘Colorism’ And The Paperbag Test – Is Herman Cain Ahead Because He’s Black Or Because Of The Content Of His Character?

Update: Halloween and the story is Herman Cain. Well not really. The story is who leaked this story to Politico?

On the one hand Willard Mitt Romney has been leaking stories about everyone and he has the best opposition research team on the Republican side. On the other hand, this type of dirt is vintage Barack Obama. Attacks to benefit Barack Obama, based on sex, are an Axelrod specialty as we documented so long ago.

The campaign finance improprieties at Team Cain story is also an Obama style Chicago drive by shooting. It took Politico years to finally admit that our original reporting was correct and it was the Barack Obama campaign that anonymously pushed the John (“are you my daddy?”) Edwards $400 haircut story.

As we wrote below, Herman Cain’s strong card is his content of character. That is why this anonymous attack is so pernicious. Herman Cain has already strongly denied the sexual harassment claims so maybe this will go away if there is nothing at all to the story – but it is a test for Herman Cain on several levels including transparency and political acumen and durability of his support.

Herman Cain today said “I was falsely accused of sexual harassment” while at the restaurant trade association.

Cain appears to be surprised that the restaurant association settled the sexual harassment claims. There also appears to be a confidentiality agreement associated with the settlement which means that possibly even referencing the existence of such a settlement is legally difficult.

In today’s interviews Herman Cain has handled the matter well with a strong denial. There is not much more he can do.

As to the women who made the allegations it is up to them to go public or the matter will die. We hope if they are telling the truth they speak up. This is likely very difficult for them to do as they might put at risk the settlement monies they received. Of course Willard Romney, or Barack Obama – whoever is responsible for this drive-by shooting could offer a financial incentive that would negate loss of the settlement monies from 15 years ago. Let the truth prevail and whoever planted this story should also be exposed for all to see.

This is called “winning ugly.” This type of tactic wins elections, but it makes governing very difficult as the “losing” side does not forget the dirty methods employed to win.

In retrospect the rise of Herman Cain to the top ranks, if not the actual top rank, of the Republican nomination contest is easy to see. It can be summed up in one word: marketing.

Herman Cain rescued the Godfather’s Pizza chain by smart hands-on management and by “marketing strategies that worked.” That a marketing smart guy could market himself and his campaign effectively (with a simple 9-9-9 economic plan) should then come as no surprise.

But more importantly Herman Cain has displayed something that Barack Obama has never had: content of character.

* * * * * *

Herman Cain’s character can be witnessed through his remarkable attack on Obama’s health care scam. Cain not only scorched the Obama policy but he placed it in the context of how it affects the individual who is sick – namely himself when he fought off Stage IV colon and liver cancer.

That’s a much more powerful attack on the most hated Obama policy than Mitt Romney will ever be able to make (and Obama’s health scam will be the #1 issue in 2012 along with the economy).

But Herman Cain’s character can also be seen in a Hillaryesque manner. In 2007 we noted that Obama’s history was shrouded in lies, lack of witnesses, and self-invented chronology from invented “autobiographies.” Hillary however had a history which could be traced in detail from kindergarten onwards.

Since the age of 10 the 65 year old Cain has attended the Antioch Baptist Church. Politically, Antioch Baptist is a church populated with “liberals.” Antioch is not however the “God Damn America” church of Jeremiah Wright on whose pews Obama squatted for more than 20 years.

It takes a lot of character to sit in a church from the age of 10, year after year, and worship as your faith teaches even though your positions are at odds with the vast majority of the congregation. Only a man of character could survive with reputation intact and respected as Herman Cain has.

Herman Cain, as Martin Luther King, Jr. advised, should be judged by the content of his character not by the color of his skin. Barack Obama race-baited his way through the many elections in 2008. Many Obama Dimocrats want to race-bait Barack Obama to reelection.

It’s not often that we see black on black violence in the realm of race-baiting. But Herman Cain is being race-baited by gentry whites and blacks. Perhaps it is the “paper bag test” that Don Lemon recently lamented that drives the race-baiting this time.

The “paper bag test”:

“We rarely expect a member of a minority group to discriminate against someone else in the same group. But that is exactly what happens among African-Americans.

More than any other minority group in the United States, blacks discriminate against one another. The discrimination, called “colorism,” is based on skin tone: whether a person is dark-skinned or light-skinned or in the broad middle somewhere.

Most African-Americans refuse to discuss this self-destructive problem even in private. According to the EEOC, though, the number of such cases are steadily increasing, jumping from 413 in fiscal year 1994 to 1,382 in 2002, a figure that represents about 3 percent of all cases the agency receives yearly.

The most recent case making news in the black press involves two employees of an Applebee’s restaurant in Jonesboro, Ga., near Atlanta. There, Dwight Burch, a dark-skinned waiter, who has left the restaurant, filed a lawsuit against Applebee’s and his light-skinned African-American manager. [snip]

Colorism’s history is fascinating: Fair-skinned slaves automatically enjoyed plum jobs in the master’s house, if they had to work at all. Many traveled throughout the nation and abroad with their masters and their families. They were exposed to the finer things, and many became educated as a result. Their darker-tone peers toiled in the fields. They were the ones who were beaten, burned and hanged, the ones permanently condemned to be the lowest of the low in U.S. society. For them, even learning – reading, ‘riting, ‘rithmetic – was illegal.

When slavery ended, light-skinned blacks established social organizations that barred darker ex-slaves. Elite blacks of the early 20th century were fair-skinned almost to the person. Even today, most blacks in high positions have fair skin tones, and most blacks who do menial jobs or are in prison are dark. Believe it or not, popular black magazines, such as Ebony as Essence, prefer light-skinned models in their beauty product ads. [snip]

In his 1996 book The Future of the Race, Henry Louis Gates Jr., chairman of the Afro-American studies department at Harvard, described his encounter with the brown paper bag when he came to Yale in the late 1960s, when skin-tone bias was brazenly practiced: “Some of the brothers who came from New Orleans held a “bag party.’ As a classmate explained it to me, a bag party was a New Orleans custom wherein a brown paper bag was stuck on the door.

Anyone darker than the bag was denied entrance.

Perhaps “colorism” is what animates the British accented Martin Bashir to brazenly question the “riting” skills of Herman Cain with “can he spell Iraq?“.

Cain, who graduated with a degree in mathematics from college, at least did not have his “rithmetic” skills questioned by Bashir. But the campaign is still young. Maybe if Cain bleached his skin like some rappers do Bashir will treat Cain with more dignity and respect.

Martin Bashir of MSNBC is not alone in his “colorism” attacks on Herman Cain. On Bashir’s program Karen Finney joined in the “colorism-baiting”:

“On Martin Bashir’s television program this afternoon, Democratic strategist and MSNBC analyst Karen Finney said that Republicans are supporting Herman Cain because of his race:

“One of the things about Herman Cain is, I think that he makes that white Republican base of the party feel okay, feel like they are not racist because they can like this guy,” Finney said. “I think he giving that base a free pass. And I think they like him because they think he’s a black man who knows his place. I know that’s harsh, but that’s how it sure seems to me.”

Thank you for spelling that out,” Bashir responded.

This isn’t the first time liberals have made this kind of charge about Cain and his supporters. During an online production of NBC’s Meet the Press this week, Democratic congressman Elijah Cummings of Maryland said white voters support Cain to show they aren’t racist. “I think when [members of the Tea Party] can vote for a Herman Cain and hear him say the things that he says they feel like, ‘Well, you know, I can, I support this guy and…so it shows that I’m not racist and I’m supportive,'” Cummings told host David Gregory.”

1%’er Janeane Garafalo told 1%er Keith Olbermann:

“Janeane Garofalo: “Herman Cain is probably well liked by some of the Republicans because it hides the racist elements of the Republican party. Conservative movement and tea party movement, one in the same.

“People like Karl Rove liked to keep the racism very covert. And so Herman Cain provides this great opportunity say you can say ‘Look, this is not a racist, anti-immigrant, anti-female, anti-gay movement. Look we have a black man.'”

So, according to this Obama Dimocrat strategist conservatives like Herman Cain because he’s a black man who knows his place. That’s an amazing standard. If you don’t support half-white half-Kenyan milk chocolate Barack Obama of Hawaii you are a racist. If you do support dark chocolate descendant of American slavery who grew up to be a captain of industry Tennessee born Georgia raised Herman Cain you are a racist.

Barack Obama whose dad was at best a sperm donor who vanished and was booted from Harvard for sperm donations is also a Harvard graduate whose mom dumped him into the arms of her banker parents so she could continue her elite travels for male companionship. Herman Cain’s father by contrast was a janitor, a barber, a chauffeur. Maybe it is a class bias that drives these anti-Cain Obama Dimocrats along with a color line paper bag bias.

Warning: Bartender’s son Marco Rubio better get ready as Operation Get Rubio questions Rubio’s “Hispanic authenticity”, color and class too.

We do have to consider that maybe it’s not colorism or classism that motivates the hatred. Maybe it’s because Cain supports those durn Joos and says things like “so-called Palestinians”. “So-called Palestinians” is surely a mistake, right?

Well, Cain might have some history on his side:

“In 1937, a local Arab leader, Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, told the Peel Commission, which ultimately suggested the partition of Palestine: “There is no such country [as Palestine]! ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented! There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria.”

The representative of the Arab Higher Committee to the United Nations submitted a statement to the General Assembly in May 1947 that said “Palestine was part of the Province of Syria” and that, “politically, the Arabs of Palestine were not independent in the sense of forming a separate political entity.” A few years later, Ahmed Shuqeiri, later the chairman of the PLO, told the Security Council: “It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but southern Syria.”

If it’s not the durn Joos, perhaps the hatred and attacks come from the slight possibility that Cain might have a strategy that somehow will work and the Obama Dimocrats will have a dark chocolate opponent:

“HOMEWOOD, Ala. — Herman Cain’s rise in the polls appears to be no fluke.

Unlike some other Republican presidential contenders who have flamed out after auditioning as the conservative antidote to Mitt Romney, Cain is still riding high atop public opinion surveys.

“They said I was the flavor of the week,” the Georgia businessman said at an appearance Friday on a campaign swing through Alabama. “But four weeks later the Cain campaign still tastes good!

Cain has little money (though Cain is “pacing himself” and the money is beginning to come in), lots of gaffes, not much of an organization and his 9-9-9 plan is under examination and assault. Conventional wisdom also says that Cain should be spending all his time in Iowa and New Hampshire. But maybe Cain, the guy who has somehow gotten high on the saddle, knows what he is doing:

“Cain has carved out an unorthodox — some say impossible — path to the White House, largely eschewing early voting states to focus heavily on the South. It’s a region where tea party groups, social conservatives and evangelical voters that make up the backbone of his support hold sway. [snip]

Block argues that next year’s compressed primary calendar means more states will play larger roles. So instead of scurrying around New Hampshire trying to win over skeptics, the campaign team is revving up support in states where Cain’s small government, anti-tax message and church revival-style delivery resonate with voters.

Cain was trying to show that in Alabama, where enthusiastic, overflow crowds greeted him at every stop. In Talladega, residents were visibly excited by the first visit from a presidential candidate in modern memory.

“I heard that FDR waved from the train once when he came through,” said Jeanne Rasco, who had turned out for a packed Cain rally at a historic theater on the city square. “I think it shows he cares about our values. He’s one of us,” she said.”

What clever racists! They shower love and say “HE’S ONE OF US.” They’re “enthusiastic” and emerge in “overflow crowds”. Clever racists huh? Cain doesn’t think so:

“Cain himself plays up his Southern roots: His drawl grows a little thicker and he mentions God a little more frequently, to suit the crowd. “I am in Alabama because Alabama matters,” Cain said at the state’s party headquarters. “Ya’ll are my neighbors.”

In the South, some Cain supporters say that supporting an African-American could turn long-held racial perceptions around. No Deep South states supported Barack Obama in 2008 and elected representatives in the state have become more racially polarized in recent years.

Scott Beason, a Republican Alabama state senator, said a Cain victory, especially in the Deep South, would be a visible sign of progress.

“It would change the stereotypes that still exist about how people make their decisions down here,” Beason said. “I think it’s ironic that he will do better here than in the so-called enlightened states up north.” ”What folks are doing is listening to what is he saying and he is not afraid to say what he thinks.

It’s more than “ironic”, it’s dark chocolate “just desserts” to see the attacks on Herman Cain come from a hypocritical Obama Dimocrat left wing afraid of the black man.

In much the same way that old time Southern racists used biblical passages about the “mark of Cain” to discriminate and oppress black people, the Obama left today will twist words and use any reasoning to stop Herman Cain. We don’t think it will work to hurt him. Instead of cursed, Herman Cain appears to be blessed.

American Groan

The hypocrisy chokes.

From little things to big things to even bigger things the hypocrisy is astounding.

Michelle Obama the patient dumper of Chicago hospitals has yet another Obama makeover publicity stunt, this time a book called “American Grown.”

The full title of this campaign 2012 product (due on April 2012) is “American Grown: How the White House Kitchen Garden Inspires Families, Schools and Communities.” Consider that full title.

“American Grown” – from a women who has only cared about herself and only until recently was proud of America is a sickening inversion of reality. But as bad as that attempted duplicity is, consider how immodest and pompous the entire title is. It’s Michelle Obama writing “see how I inspire!, Aren’t I just wonderful!”

The pomposity is reminiscent of Obama’s pre-inaugural seal. Only the wife of a man, who having accomplished nothing nor attempting to accomplish anything for anyone other than himself writes two autobiographies, could indulge such a verily pompous title.

It is possible that Michelle Obama’s model in writing this book is not Barack Obama, but rather Oprah Winfrey. You remember Oprah? She’s the 1% almost billionaire black woman who for decades postured as a pro-woman-blind-to-color TV hostess until she met a black man running against a woman for president (Happy Birthday Hillary).

Oprah, who for decades pushed useless diet plan after diet plan even though Oprah – with a small army of nutritionists, persona trainers, home gyms, cooks, doctors, advisers , stress reducers, assistants, go-phers, sycophants somehow could not hide the fat or her real life eating/exercise habits.

Likewise Michelle. Michelle Obama – with her small army of nutritionists, persona trainers, home gyms, cooks, doctors, advisers , stress reducers, assistants, go-phers, sycophants will lecture American on what to eat and how her garden (cultivated by her army of staffers, most definitely not her, to cultivate an fake image for her) is such an inspiration to the little people who do not have at their disposal a small army of nutritionists, persona trainers, home gyms, cooks, doctors, advisers , stress reducers, assistants, go-phers, and sycophants . Hypocrite Michelle Obama shares with Oprah a private life at odds with her public pronouncements:

“First lady MICHLLE OBAMA fuming as PAULA DEEN dishes on her unhealthy eating habits despite new book “American Grown” PR blitz!

MICHELLE OBAMA is now furious with Southern cooking queen PAULA DEEN for crowing that the first lady, a healthy-eating advocate who’s waging a war against childhood obesity, pigs out on fattening foods.

While plugging her new book, “Paula Deen’s Southern Cooking Bible,” the feisty TV chef took a pot shot at Michelle for gorging herself on greasy french fries, fatty hot chicken wings and sugary deep-fried Snickers bars!

“Michelle’s spitting mad,” a source told The ENQUIRER.

“She thinks Paula is trying to smear her and her family just as the 2012 presidential election race swings into gear.”

The trouble first began before Barack Obama was even elected president in 2008, when Michelle made a guest appearance on Deen’s popular “Paula’s Party” show and revealed that fried shrimp was her family’s favorite meal.

Then in an interview after filming the program, Paula quipped that Michelle would be serving high-fat, greasy and sugary foods in the White House if Obama won the election! [snip]

Paula added: “She probably ate more than any other guest I ever had on the show! She kept eating even during commercials. Know what (the Obamas’) favorite foods are? Hot wings. Y’know – those kinds of foods that aren’t necessarily top-of-the-list healthy foods.”

The chutzpah of Michelle being upset that someone is targeting her clearly political book for political reasons! But that is small potatoes on the list of why Americans groan every time they hear the pompous Obamas. It’s the much bigger, more important hypocrisies and corruptions that make us heave the collective groan.

Remember back in 2007 when we wrote about the then big issue on the left – the unitary executive? Hillary Clinton was attacked on this issue and Obama was extolled to high heaven by, the now exposed as total hypocrites, Dimocratic left. Once the Dimocrat left attacked the “unitary executive”. Now the hypocrite Dimocratic left applauds the “unitary executive” when it proclaims student-loan regulation relaxations. All that 2007/2008 talk about the Constitution and the corruptions of a unitary executive was just talk by a fake hypocrite crew which postures as the left.

Remember all that anti-lobbyist talk from the fake Obama Dimocrat left? Now Obama hires lobbyists and the Obama Dimocrat left does not care. Obama never cared about this nonsense issue but Obama profited by fleecing these easily duped and willingly duped dopes. Only when the lobbyist is a lobbyist whose highest level appointment is a clear premeditated slap at environmentalists does the fake left even notice.

The biggest deserved groan from us is when we hear Obama Dimocrats or even the truly concerned Bill Clinton, yammer about election intimidation or voter ID laws. The argument is that the evil Republicans are out to keep millions of Americans from the ballot box.

For years we worked to ensure election integrity and voter rights. But then in 2008 a committee of the Democratic National Committee stole Hillary Clinton delegates, duly elected in an election, in order to gift those delegates to Barack Obama who was not even on the ballot.

The same Rules and By-laws Committee violated every major fundamental principle of democracy in order to gift Obama the nomination and ignore 18 million voters. We don’t forget.

When we hear about Rush/Holt or other initiatives aimed at voter integrity we groan. It wasn’t Republicans on that Rules and By-laws Committee. It wasn’t Republicans who imposed Barack Obama on the Democratic Party. It wasn’t Republicans who stole our votes. It was Obama Dimocrats. 18 million votes stolen.

The integrity of our elections was violated in 2008. It was Obama Dimocrats who violated our elections. It was Obama Dimocrats who race-baited and lied.

It’s a tough lesson to learn. Many don’t want to learn the lesson and that is why they support contraptions and fakeries such as Occupy Wall Street. The enemy is fake progressives. The enemy is Obama Dimocrats. The enemy is in the White House.

Barack Obama Made It Worse – Clunkers And Iraq

Barack Obama made it worse. More evidence every day. More material for Republican truth ads every day.

Here is the last campaign speech, the last list of questions for voters, that Republicans in 2012 will make:

“Next Tuesday is Election Day. Next Tuesday all of you will go to the polls, will stand there in the polling place and make a decision. I think when you make that decision, it might be well if you would ask yourself, are you better off than you were four years ago? Is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores than it was four years ago? Is there more or less unemployment in the country than there was four years ago? Is America as respected throughout the world as it was? Do you feel that our security is as safe, that we’re as strong as we were four years ago? And if you answer all of those questions yes, why then, I think your choice is very obvious as to whom you will vote for. If you don’t agree, if you don’t think that this course that we’ve been on for the last four years is what you would like to see us follow for the next four, then I could suggest another choice that you have.”

The shocking, ugly, truth is that four years before election day 2012 it was very very bad – but Barack Obama has managed – through a combination of corruption, treachery and boobery – TO MAKE IT MUCH WORSE.

Consider Obama and Iraq. Yesterday Barack Obama made a celestial choirs “Mission Accomplished” announcement. However, according to the New York Times “Iraq withdrawal outcome of Obama negotiating failure”.

“When Barack Obama announced yesterday that all US troops would return from Iraq, he framed it as a campaign promise kept, although Obama promised to pull the troops out in 16 months and ended up sticking with the timeline set by George Bush instead.  He also neglected to mention that his administration had spent the last several months trying to avoid the outcome he proudly proclaimed.  This morning, the New York Times makes clear that neither side wanted a full withdrawal from Iraq, and that the collapse in negotiations came as a result of bungling by the White House

“Bungling by the White House”????? How can that not be? Bungling (we call it “boobery”) is an Obama White House specialty, polygamously wedded to treachery and incompetence.

The Obama lovin’ New York Times on Obama lipstick on a pig:

“BAGHDAD — President Obama’s announcement on Friday that all American troops would leave Iraq by the end of the year was an occasion for celebration for many, but some top American military officials were dismayed by the announcement, seeing it as the president’s putting the best face on a breakdown in tortured negotiations with the Iraqis.

And for the negotiators who labored all year to avoid that outcome, it represented the triumph of politics over the reality of Iraq’s fragile security’s requiring some troops to stay, a fact everyone had assumed would prevail. But officials also held out hope that after the withdrawal, the two countries could restart negotiations more productively, as two sovereign nations. [snip]

Over the last year, in late-night meetings at the fortified compound of the Iraqi president, Jalal Talabani, and in videoconferences between Baghdad and Washington, American and Iraqi negotiators had struggled to reach an agreement. All the while, both Mr. Obama and the Iraqi prime minister, Nuri Kamal al-Maliki, gave the world a wink and nod, always saying that Iraq was ready to stand on its own but never fully closing the door on the possibility of American troops’ staying on.”

Keep an eye on that “restart negotiations” bit. It has implications.

The New York Times writes that in June Obama agreed to leave 10,000 troops to train and equip Iraqi forces. This past August “debates between the Pentagon, the State Department and the White House” resulted in a 3,000 to 5,000 troop number. The arguments of Hillary Haters Thomas E. Donilon (the “Obama enforcer”, and Denis McDonough (the “sewage pipe”) “prevailed over those of the military.

The Times writes that the Obama boobs forced the issue of “immunity for troops”. We are then informed “they misread Iraqi politics and the Iraqi public.” It was boobery. It was, according to the Obama lovin’ Times “a severe tactical mistake.”

That “restart negotiations” bit? It turns out that “the two sides are continuing to discuss a continuing military relationship.” Ordinarily this would be an occasion for joy in that previous boobery could be redressed and turned to something better than boobery. But remember we are dealing with Barack Obama here, and you can’t spell “boob” without a double dose of “B” “O”.

Prepare for a double dose of boobery:

“On Friday evening, an American official in Iraq, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the deliberations are confidential, said that negotiations would now center on arrangements that would begin next year, after all United States troops leave.

Possibilities being discussed are for some troops to return in 2012, an option preferred by some Iraqi politicians who want to claim credit for ending what many here still call an occupation, even though legally it ended years ago. Other scenarios being discussed include offering training in the United States, in a nearby country such as Kuwait, or having some troops here under NATO auspices.”

Treachery, boobery, incompetence, all in one:

“In other words, Obama wants to make a little political hay on the Left thanks to what looks like incompetence. That may come back to bite Obama, however, as some of the same troops whose return Obama wants to hail may have to make a U-turn in the next few months [snip]

As part of his “mission accomplished” speech yesterday, Obama insisted that we need to focus on rebuilding our own country. How exactly will he sell the return of thousands of American troops to Iraq?”

If you are at all afraid that this Iraq boobery depletes the Obama boobery stockpiles, be not afeard. There’s lots more boobery from this fountainhead of boobery.

Back in 2009 we discussed the real “clunkers”, namely Obama and his team of Geithner tax cheats and liars. We derided, “‘Cash For Clunkers” is when you donate to the Obama Dimocrats.” Now one of those clunkers speaks up –

Yup, the guy that secretly called Canadian officials during the 2008 primaries against Hillary Clinton to secretly tell them that Obama was lying about NAFTA and not to worry about Obama lies on the campaign trail is talking a bit. The latest from Austen “Goolsbee: Cash for Clunkers, home-buyer tax credits were mistakes:”

“Barack Obama told Jake Tapper on Monday that “I believe all the choices we’ve made have been the right ones” on economic policy.  One of the architects of Obamanomics disagreed just a few days later.  Austan Goolsbee, one of Obama’s key economic advisers, admitted on Thursday’s Morning Joe that the gimmicky, short-term stimulus approach was a failure [snip]

Not only did they misjudge the difficulty of recovery, the same short-term, gimmicky approach made it even more difficult to do so.”

Obama made it worse. Yet… Obama thinks he’s perfect. Obama is a clunker. Obama is the problem.

When Do We Americans Get Our ‘Sigh Of Relief’?

Update: The Veni, Vidi, Killee, Scandal – “Hillary Clinton on Qaddafi: “We came, we saw, he died”’. Oh no she didn’t!!!!!!

The pearl clutchers are clutching their pearls in shock. It’s the latest Hillary Clinton scandal:

Heavens to Mergatroid! Exit, stage left even. What a scandal. Fetch our feathered fan.

It just goes to show, you can mess with Joe, but Don’t Mess With Hillary.

The woman who pulled the trigger on Muammar Qaddafi had this to say this morning:

“Clinton said she couldn’t confirm the reports, but that if they are true, ‘it’s a big sigh of relief for the Libyan people.’ She also told Wendell that Qaddafi would wage a guerilla war with Libyan money. And, even if he was in fact killed, the Libyan people still have a steep climb ahead.”

[Warning: bloody, gruesome videos]

So when do we Americans get our “sigh of relief” and rid ourselves of Boob Obama and the Obama Boobs and thugs? Hopium Guzzlers who try to twist our question into an assassination plot – go screw yourselves. We already addressed the “assassination” crap before.

When do we get our “sigh of relief”? For the desperate or delusional the sign of relief was Occupy Wall Street. We knew better. Groups, and group-think, from the left or the right that don’t see the difference between the rapist and the raped are not the solution, they are the problem. Mobs like Occupy Wall Street that don’t take responsibility for what happens at their events, under the guise that they are “evolving” or too “creative class” to be “structured”, are a danger to the community at large and to its own community as well because they are from the outset – MOBS:

“That woman who was kidnapped and raped at the Obama-endorsed Occupy Cleveland protest…

Obama protection racket Occupy Wall Street is not part of the solution, it is part of the problem. The same Obama sexism and misogyny we witnessed during the Obama 2008 campaign we now see in the Obama 2012 Occupy Wall Street campaign.

* * * * * *

Today the hero of Obama Wall Street, er, Occupy Wall Street, will try to claim credit for the demise of the Libyan dictator who robbed the people while pretending to be a tribune of the people.

But we know better. From the very beginning Libyans cried for George W. Bush because Obama was busy in Rio. Obama was also busy in his secret war against Hillary Clinton.

It was Bill Clinton who first called for a No Fly Zone in Libya.

When Obama was forced to action by Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton he immediately fled the country to a vacation in Rio. The world heaved a temporary “sigh of relief that Hillary is on the job”. We quoted Politico when they caught up to our reporting:

“Clinton’s position was vindicated early Thursday evening when the United Nations Security Council – at the urging of the United States – approved a resolution authorizing “all necessary measures” to protect Libyan civilians, including a no-fly zone. [snip]

Clinton’s persistence in the anti-Qadhafi cause has been such a constant in the White House in recent days that Obama, according to reports, joked about Clinton lobbing rocks through his window during his remarks at Saturday night’s Gridiron dinner.

“Stay tuned,” said one Clinton friend when asked if the secretary would ultimately prevail.” [snip]

Clinton, according to sources, has been pressing Obama to take bolder action in the Middle East for weeks, especially in Libya where she has privately implored the president and his top aides to impose a no-fly-zone to aid anti-Qadhafi rebels before it’s too late.

But she’s reportedly faced opposition from National Security Adviser Tom Donilon and Defense Secretary Robert Gates who have argued for a far more cautious approach, warning against the cost, logistical complications and political blow-back of further U.S. military involvement in such a volatile part of the world.

Clinton has not publicly pressured Obama. But her husband has.”

In Libya as in everything Obama was President “Who Gives A Crap.” Obama will always Fibya On Libya. If not for Hillary, the Libyan dictator would still be walking around Libya.

Obama lured himself to brilliant beaches on the very day American armed forces were sent in harm’s way.
Today, in pictures and video we see that Quaddafi has met his fate.

“Now look at this picture called “Commanderinchief”:

The picture originated with someone called “Slu” and appeared at the most-definitely-not-a-Hillary-Clinton-fansite, Ace of Spades. This is what DrewM wrote there before Hillary appeared in front of TV cameras to announce the latest developments in the “Kinetic Military Action”:

“President, er, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will brief shortly. It’s really shameless how Obama has hidden from this mess. He’s not addressed the nation as Presidents do when they send troops into battle. He’s spokesman won’t do an on-camera briefing and for the most part the military and not political officials are the face of this.”

The”mess” came about because Barack Obama hesitated and tried to escape responsibility. It took so long for Obama to decide what to do in Libya the rebels were weakened and the Libyan dictator strengthened.

We supported the Libyan action before it was taken and gave our reasons why in “Does Obama Have Testicles?“:

“We do not support the intervention for doe-eyed “humanitarian” reasons. We believe it is in America’s interest to do so. Just as we explained during the Egypt crisis, American interests must be the determining factor in what America does.

In Egypt our concern was that as corrupt and bad as Mubarak was he still was an ally (a very horrible ally especially when it the topic was women – check out the “virginity checks”). We feared the Iron Veil and urged caution. Today the New York Times confirms what we feared about the Iron Veil and the Muslim Brotherhood gaining strength in Egypt.

In Libya we believe in maximum punishment with minimum costs because Quadaffy was not an ally and the situation will at worse go from bad to bad (in Egypt it could have gone from bad to worse). Our worldview holds for Syria and Iran as well – maximum punishment/minimum costs.

In our view intervention in Libya is a good idea as long as it is executed well and in full compliance with the law. Barack Obama has utterly failed on both counts.

As we wrote that defense of the Libya military operation, the Occupy Wall Street misogynists and sexists at The Nation magazine wrote that it was “Obama’s Women” who pushed “War Against Libya.” They wrote that as if it was a bad thing because women are supposed to be weak and frail little things. Women at The Nation are supposed to be able and willing to be raped at progressive events and occupations – like the hostile to women basketball playing workplace called the Obama White House.

The problem is not the Valkyrie women. The problem is Obama:

“Obama does not have the ovaries necessary to be president. Obama does not have the testicles necessary to be president. What Obama has is a lot of gall in ever running for president.”

Americans will not be able to heave a sigh of relief until we rid ourselves, at the ballot box, of the Boob-in-chief.

Does Anybody Love Willard? The CNN Nevada Western Republican Debate – Perry Versus Cain Versus Romney

There can be no doubt that Willard Mitt Romney has run a masterful campaign. Willard has been very good, if not excellent, at the debates. Willard has a big and powerful campaign organization. Willard has raised tons of money. Willard has the Republican establishment working on his behalf. We still don’t think he will be the Republican nominee.

If not Romney, is it Perry? If it is Perry he’d better get better:

“Although Texas Gov. Rick Perry survived last week’s debate at Dartmouth College, he must do better than simply surviving in the upcoming debates, starting with Tuesday night’s in Las Vegas.

Perry’s reported third-quarter haul of $17 million is impressive, but his poll numbers are in free fall and his organization isn’t even remotely comparable to that of the GOP front-runner, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Such poll hemorrhaging can only hinder future fundraising and organizational efforts in key early states. Enticing local activists or new donors to climb aboard what appears to be a sinking ship is a pretty tough sell. If Perry doesn’t step up his game and quell growing reservations about him, his days as a real contender—if any still remain—may soon be over.”

Charlie Cook thinks Perry still has a small chance but time is quickly running out:

“That leaves two scenarios. In the first, without transforming into a world-class debater, Perry recoups enough to stabilize his candidacy, placate at least his Texas donors (after all, he remains governor of the Lone Star State regardless), and become the Romney alternative—albeit one with clipped wings who is unlikely to ultimately prevail. Perry could repair some self-inflicted damage, though with the Iowa caucuses scheduled for Jan. 3 and the New Hampshire primary potentially coming as early as December, there isn’t much time for a dramatic turnaround of his fortunes. Holding out for later victories is an option, though former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s 2008 debacle suggests that strategy has shortcomings.

Or, Perry proves unable to stanch the bleeding and former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain solidifies his position as the anti-Romney, even though Cain has no discernible campaign strategy and questionable ability to raise serious money. Cain’s poll numbers soar as doubts about other contenders on the most conservative end of this field mount. Clearly, conservative Republicans like what Cain says and his plainspoken way of saying it. The question is whether they really see Cain as a possible nominee and president, or just as a place to park after pulling their support from the previous flavors of the month.

One wonders if Cain’s campaign has any idea what it’s doing. This past weekend, Cain took a bus trip through Tennessee (a March 6 Super Tuesday primary state, really?) from Memphis, his birthplace, in the west all the way to Cookeville in the east. Such counterintuitive campaigning suggests Cain’s schedule is determined as much by random chance as by political strategy (though opportunities to sell autographed copies of his book at $100 a pop seem to make it onto the schedule). This is not the way to win a Republican nomination, particularly one that seems to have growing value by the day.

If Perry wants to continue he better stop listening to advisors and columnists and be who he is. He was doing well when he started the race but then Big Media demanded Perry stop being “so Texas” and Perry took that advice. Now Perry looks like the small little kid in the new classroom afraid of the other kids with their hands deep in the fingerpainting. Perry still has time but not if he acts scared. Our advice is: Let Perry Be Perry. Rick Perry still has a chance and a case to make for himself: “Rick Perry, still America’s jobs governor.”

Romney is the frontrunner in name only and even that epithet is dubious:

“Two things are becoming clear: Romney is emerging as the clear front-runner, but an “anybody but Romney” resistance will coalesce behind either Cain or Perry. What is no longer clear is whether Perry will be the last guy standing against Romney. [snip]

This brings us back to the adage that Republicans wind up nominating the guy who’s next in line, like McCain, who was runner-up to George W. Bush in 2000. The GOP could be in the middle of continuing that habit in 2012, as Romney is the only top-tier retread from 2008.”

So it is Willard Mitt Romney, right? Maybe not:

“LAS VEGAS — He has consistently outperformed the rest of the Republican presidential field in debates. He has built a powerful fund-raising machine. He has rolled out one big-name endorsement after another. He has avoided being drawn into distracting sideshows or becoming rattled by his opponents.

But a word of caution about calling Mitt Romney the inevitable nominee. He is now going to be tested in a more serious way.

With the start of the primary season a little more than two months away, Mr. Romney’s Republican rivals are planning more aggressive tactics, including waves of attack ads, in an effort to define him and determine just how strong — or brittle — his support is.

As Republican candidates gather here on Tuesday night for the eighth debate of the campaign, a CNN poll has found that two-thirds of Republican voters say that their minds are not made up about whom the party should nominate to challenge President Obama, a sign the race could still have another unpredictable turn.”

That sentence “He is now going to be tested in a more serious way” is a sentence entirely not applicable thus far to Barack Obama. Obama was not vetted in 2008. Obama is not held responsible in 2012, especially not by Occupy Wall Street.

Willard “rarely garners more than 25 percent in national polls” of Republicans. Evangelicals in Iowa and South Carolina, early primary states, give Willard the skunk eye. It’s not just evangelicals who smell a rat. Does anyone believe anything Romney says at any particular time – even if he says what he says convincingly at the moment he convincingly says whatever he says he says?

Willard has never really faced a barrage of attacks. Only when Ted Kennedy ran a stealth attack in South Boston reminding Southies that Willard is a Mormon has Willard been tested. Willard failed that test. In 2007/2008 McCain never attacked Romney with ads because the money was not there. Up to now, Romney has not been the target either.

Herman Cain is now the target and he knows it:

“Herman Cain said Tuesday he could feel the pressure from his fellow 2012 candidates ahead of the CNN Western Leadership Conference Debate in Las Vegas.

“The way it feels is that you got this big bull’s-eye on your back, and it keeps getting bigger,” Cain told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on “The Situation Room.”

Today, Herman Cain painted a big target on himself when he said ‘Sure I can see myself releasing everyone at gitmo in exchange for one U.S. POW.‘ Yikes!

At tonight’s 8:00 ET debate in Las Vegas Nevada Cain needs to demonstrate he is more than a curiosity and is growing as a candidate (and do a lot of ‘splaining). Perry needs to show he is in command not by bluster but by genuine control of himself and the stage. Romney needs to continue his brilliant performances but somehow convince the viewers that it is not just a performance he is engaged in.

The rest of the candidates should be happy to have something to do on a Tuesday night. Hey, be happy, you’re on time and on stage at the Las Vegas Nevada CNN Western Republican debate! Ron Paul and his army can righteously grouse that Big Media is shutting them out and that the game is rigged against them and that no matter how well they do, they will be ignored.

Our advice for every American and Republicans: Don’t let Big Media select your president or your nominee.

OWH – A Thousand Days Of Boobery, Corruption, Treachery

It’s been one thousand days of OWH. It seems like ten thousand days. What a day it has been, and it is not yet over.

Here, have a laugh, or a cry, or a chortle – it’s boobery grand buffo scale:

“President Obama is against repealing the health law’s long-term care CLASS Act and might veto Republican efforts to do so, an administration official tells The Hill, despite the government’s announcement Friday that the program was dead in the water. [snip]

Over the weekend, The Hill has learned, an administration official called CLASS Act advocates to reassure them that Obama is still committed to making the program work. That official also told advocates that widespread media reports on the program’s demise were wrong, leaving advocates scratching their heads.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced Friday in a blog post on the liberal Huffington Post web site that the administration did not see a way to make the program sustainable. Sebelius indicated her agency hadn’t been able to figure out a way to ensure the program providing long-term care paid for itself as required by law.

Later in a call with reporters on Friday, an HHS official said work on the program was being suspended.

We won’t be working further to implement the CLASS Act … We don’t see a path forward to be able to do that,” Assistant Secretary for Aging Kathy Greenlee told reporters on Friday.”

This is Nobel Prize worthy boobery, Olympic boobery. Recall when we wondered if Obama could top his boobery of August? A few days into September and the question was answered with “yes”. September brought us a supernova of boobery. Now Obama threatens to turn Octoberfest into Boobamafest!

Try and wrap your minds around this boobery: Kathleen Sebelius was tasked by the ObamaCare health scam law to implement the CLASS act. But this past Friday Sebelius threw in the sponge as HHS abandoned the crucial part of ObamaCare as fiscally unworkable. But today Obama is repudiating his own Health and Human Services Secretary and saying he will try to get some CLASS. Who’s on first, who’s in charge?

It takes the experience of one thousand days of boobery to achieve this level of boobery, the crowning achievement of boobery. Yup, “Obama opposes repeal of law so terrible that even his own team abandoned it”:

“In other words, it’s mathematically impossible to make the CLASS Act work, yet somehow The One’s going to make it work anyway. You’ll never find a sharper illustration of his basic approach to fiscal reality than you’re seeing right here.

In fairness, he probably does understand that the program’s well and truly dead, but so terrible would it look for him to sign legislation repealing any part of ObamaCare that he prefers the idiocy of vetoing a bill that’s aimed at undoing a program already undone by his own staff. There’s wonderful symbolism in that: Agenda and “messaging” trumps all, even if it means keeping a policy in place that’s now acknowledged as destructive by both parties. So much for the guy who was going to end “business as usual” in D.C. Guy Benson’s right too that O likely wants to keep stringing along the CLASS Act true believers for as long as he can, partly to soak them for donations before election day and partly to deflect tough questions they might ask about which other unworkable parts of ObamaCare the administration might be prepared to discard.”

It’s Boobery, Corruption and Treachery all in one on day one thousand from “the One”.

But no one should be surprised. After all, today is also the day that Obama is taking another bus tour of “must win” states North Carolina and Virginia – paid for by the taxpayers not his campaign. How can Obama campaign and fund raise from willing dupes after his HHS Secretary clued in the rubes as to Obama’s lack of CLASS?:

“President Obama will kick off a three-day bus trip through small towns in politically competitive North Carolina and Virginia Monday, but White House officials insist the trip is about jobs, not votes.

So much so, in fact, that they convened a conference call Sunday to reiterate that point several times, pointing out that the trip is fully on the taxpayers’ dime, not the president’s re-election campaign’s.

Well no one is that stupid right? No way that Obama can dupe the dupes and seduce those willing to be duped even when all the evidence is there that they are dupes, right? No one is that stupid or that desperate to be duped and duped again, right? Right?:

“The Occupy Wall Street protests have energized liberals in Congress and all but silenced the left’s criticism of President Obama.

Liberals who have felt scorned and overlooked by the White House say they are rejuvenated by the protests launched from Zuccotti Park in Lower Manhattan, and hope that they provide Obama and liberal causes with new impetus and vigor.

Mission accomplished Occupy Wall Street. Silence is golden. Congratulations for fleecing the flock, duping the gullible and those desperate to rejoin the Obama Dimocratic Party. It’s sooo lonely being without a party and it’s fun to be back.

But enjoy it fully and immediately, because soon the bill will come due and already a Hill poll shows the majority of Americans blame Washington, not Wall Street, for the economic crisis. Yet Occupy Wall Street continues to protect Obama. Congratulations.

Mission accomplished JournoListers – you are duping the dupes and duping those who want to be part of a fake movement, AGAIN. Congratulations.

Mission accomplished zookeepers of Zoo-cottie Park. Congratulations and thanks for the condoms and Hitler T-shirts. Those chicks sure are juicy and ready to be de-feathered and plucked.

We Must Not Let Occupy Wall Street Zoo-cottie Park Distract From: Obama’s Africa Corps, Solyndra, Fast And Furious Grenade Walk, Lies, Scams And Lack Of CLASS

Well we found the perfect anthem for the dupes at Zoo-cotti Park who are willing to give their Hope and Change voice to forces they know not, again. They want to change the world but they don’t know what to do, so they leave it up to… who?:

…tell me where is sanity
Tax the rich, feed the poor
Till there are no rich no more

I’d love to change the world
But I don’t know what to do
So I’ll leave it up to you

Don’t lend or give your voice to nameless forces. Don’t trade reason for madness. It only helps Barack Obama. Doubt what we say? Doubt no longer:

Obama plans to turn anti-Wall Street anger on Mitt Romney, Republicans

President Obama and his team have decided to turn public anger at Wall Street into a central tenet of their reelection strategy.

Corrupt and treacherous Obama received more money from Wall Street than any other presidential candidate ever but he will dupe the dupes of Zoo-cotti Park for his benefit – and we’re supposed to stay silent?

Oh, but, isn’t it good that Obama is finally attacking Wall Street and the corruption that looted the American economy? If you believe that you are either stupid or yearning to be a dupe. It’s the same old trick Obama used to dupe victims of Exelon into believing he was on their side but behind the scenes he used those fools who believed him. It’s the same trick Obama used to destroy health care reform in Illinois when he sided with insurers while pretending to side with the dupes who believed him.

“We intend to make it one of the central elements of the campaign next year.” That’s a quote from David Plouffe. So if you want to be a dupe for Obama be a dupe for Obama but don’t say we did not warn you or that we did not tell you so – that’s an excuse too many now use to explain why they voted for Obama.

The dupes from Occupy Walls Street are a too convenient distraction for Obama 2012. A lot of dupes fell for Obama distraction from his filthy record in 2008. One such dupe is Mike Lupica who attacked Hillary Clinton and her supporters (with violent and sexist language only a frat boy can love). Now Mike Lupica is learning bit by bit that Obama cannot be trusted and that something is very wrong at Zoo-cottie Park (and he rewrites what we wrote days ago):

“Occupy Wall Street protesters should aim their wrath at Fundraiser-in-Chief Obama [snip]

“Where do you suppose they go next?”

A better question? When do they head to Washington and start yelling about a President who often looks like the Fundraiser-in-Chief, trying to keep his job backed by what might become the richest campaign in history, in a jobless country going broke.

It’s why you wonder if there will come a day when the house that Occupy Wall Street is standing in front of isn’t Jamie Dimon’s on Park Ave., it is the White House. [snip]

At a time when the protesters, and God bless them, put big money and big corporations on notice, how long before they go after the corporation that is the Obama campaign, just so they don’t look like part of it? [snip]

In the next several months, while Republican candidates spend like crazy just trying to get the nomination, Obama for America will relentlessly fund-raise on a daily basis, adding to an already amazing war chest.

Then next year, when the time is right, they will do exactly what they say the Republicans want to do to them: Spend hundreds of million of dollars defining the other guy as negatively as possible before the other guy can accumulate the money to fight back. Make the issue the opponent and not the economy.

At which point Obama will continue to be so much more brilliant as a candidate for President than he has been a President, to the point where you really start to believe we would have been better off if Hillary had won.”

Too late to take back your violent/sexist hatred of Hillary Clinton and support of Obama in 2008 Lupica. As to the nonsense dreams and hopes (a retread of the 2008 Obama blank screen strategy) about Occupy Wall Street turning on Obama and protesting at the White House and Occupy Lafayette Park – if they do that the labor unions and all the behind the scenes manipulators will fade away and try to create splinter groups

But what are we talking about? Pshaw. The behind the scenes manipulators are hard at work. It’s the “Coffee Party” fakes all over again.

Whatever rational arguments can be made on behalf of Occupy Wall Street, the bottom line is that no one knows who is behind the curtain, manipulating with HOPE And CHANGE, the dupes and the wannabee dupes. Rest assured that if there is a YearlyKooks style “convention” next year it’s sole goal will be to nominate Barack Obama as Emperor Extraordinarious and Savior of the Nation.

And where ever there is a pro Obama group posing as nonpartisan (recall Al Sharpton and Donna Brazile) Big Media will be there to pimp. It’s Half-A-Cane Irene, the hyped up destroyer of New York City all over again:

“The Truth About Occupy Wall Street: It’s Much Smaller Than It Seems” [snip]

Nothing about Occupy Wall Street is what it seems. Sure, the month-long protest has launched more passionate theories than any event since the publication of Freud’s The Interpretation of Dreams. [snip]

How do I convey this respectfully as a veteran of the 1960s? This is not the 1967 Pentagon March or anything like it. Nothing I saw in New York this week justifies the current level of the-whole-world-is-watching media coverage. At times in Zuccotti Park, there seemed to be almost as many reporters (many of them from foreign news outlets) as overnight campers.”

* * * * * *

To a very large extent Occupy Wall Street dupes have already accomplished what they are intended to do: DISTRACT.

The distraction has been most successful. Other events have been crowded out of the news.

Consider some news distracted from by Zoo-cotti Park:

Two days ago Leon Panetta testified before congress against Pentagon budget cuts:

“PANETTA: Without telling you that decisions have been made, and no decisions have been made, I can give you an example. For example, if we decide that we’ve got to maintain our force structure presence in the Pacific in order to deal with China and China’s expanding role in that part of the world and because of the other issues that exist in that very sensitive part of the world. And if we decide that the Middle East is also a very important area where we have to maintain a presence as well then just by virtue of the numbers that we’re dealing with, we will probably have to reduce our presence elsewhere, our presence perhaps in Latin America, our presence in Africa and so if you’re talking about risk, part of the risk would be having less of a presence in those areas.”

Yesterday, two days after Panetta fretted about “our presence in Africa” the United States is in a land war in Africa because Obama is sending 100 US combat troops to Uganda. Of course it won’t just be Uganda as advertised because the Occupy Uganda Lord Resistance Army troops are operating in the Sudan, the Central African Republic and the Congo. What’s next from Boob Obama – a land war in Asia?

Consider the distraction from Occupy Wall Street and who the distraction benefits. How Did Obama Know About Fast And Furious Before Holder?

That’s from Obama lovin’ CNN, not Fox News or Glenn Beck.

Consider the distraction from Ron Brownstein’s report: “Obama’s Performance Rating Slips Again Disapproval of Obama’s agenda has begun to harden among voters.”

Consider the distraction from this story:

“Oklahoma billionaire George Kaiser has been in the headlines in recent months thanks to his role as a major investor in Solyndra LLC, the now-bankrupt California solar panel maker hailed by President Obama as a model for America’s “clean energy future.” [snip]

Because Kaiser was a campaign “bundler” – an individual who collects contributions to a candidate from others that are then simultaneously given to the candidate – who raised about $250,000 for Obama during the 2008 campaign, congressional Republicans and media analysts have speculated that the Solyndra loan guarantee was nothing more than using tax dollars to reward a political supporter.

But the Solyndra scandal is far from Kaiser’s first brush with political controversy. As the Sunlight Foundation’s Bill Allison reports today, Kaiser has become extraordinarily wealthy by taking advantage of the federal tax code in ways that some tax experts – including the IRS – believe to be illegal.

As Allison describes it in his Sunlight post today, “in one six year period, during which he increased his net worth enough to land him on the Forbes list of the 400 wealthiest Americans, Kaiser reported taxable income to the Internal Revenue Service just once, totaling $11,699–equivalent to a full-time hourly wage of $5.62.”

Where is Warren Buffett’s secretary on this? No doubt distracted by the Zoo-cottie Park fun.

Hidden behind the distraction curtain the Obama White House refuses to turn over all internal documents related to Solyndra to investigators. The Obama White House is also fighting a court ruling that “Secret Service records of visitors to the White House complex are subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.” Most transparent White House ever. Investigators can’t get in but Malik Shabazz can get in (now is that Malik Shabazz the Black Panther Obama was with in Selma and the same Malik who was busy intimidating voters and being an all about race-baiter?)

Also too easy to distract is the Fast and Furious walk-a-grenade. CBS’ Sharyl Attkisson has not been distracted but few have heard about the grenade walker:

“But, but, but, but” reply the dupes and wannabee dupes “haven’t these stories been reported? How did you find out about it if they haven’t been reported.?” Well we are not easily distracted.

We’re not distracted by NO CLASS Obama. Not his manners but the budget gimmick that now threatens the entire Obama health scam. The Obama HHS was forced to abandon the boondoggle of Obamacare because it is fiscally unworkable.

The easily distracted supported the Obama health scam even as the logical knew it was all a boondoggle by Ted Kennedy who gave us the boondoggle Obama White House:

“The Obama administration Friday pulled the plug on a major program in the president’s signature health overhaul law – a long-term care insurance plan dogged from the beginning by doubts over its financial solvency. [snip]

Known as CLASS, the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports program was a longstanding priority of the late Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Edward M. Kennedy. [snip]

But a central design flaw dogged CLASS. Unless large numbers of healthy people willingly sign up during their working years, soaring premiums driven by the needs of disabled beneficiaries would destabilize it, eventually requiring a taxpayer bailout.

After months insisting that could be fixed, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, finally admitted Friday she doesn’t see how. [snip]

That’s the same conclusion a top government expert reached in 2009. Nearly a year before the health care law passed, Richard Foster, head of long-range economic forecasts for Medicare warned administration and congressional officials that CLASS would be unworkable. His warnings were disregarded, as Obama declared his support for adding the long-term care plan to his health care bill.

The demise of CLASS immediately touched off speculation about its impact on the federal budget. Although no premiums are likely to be collected, the program still counts as reducing the federal deficit by about $80 billion over the next ten years. That’s because of a rule that would have required workers to pay in for at least five years before they could collect any benefits.

The CLASS Act was a budget gimmick that might enhance the numbers on a Washington bureaucrat’s spreadsheet but was destined to fail in the real world,” said Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.”

It was always a budget gimmick. Many will not hear the news of the lack of Obama CLASS because Occupy Wall Street occupies their minds and their TV screens.

Meanwhile the woman that Ted Kennedy tried to drown, still lives and she is talking economy:

Don’t get distracted by Occupy Wall Street antics at Zoo-cotti Park. We won’t.

The Race Of Citizen Cain

Big Media never fails to race-bait on behalf of Barack Obama. But for a black Republican like Herman Cain any slur is allowed if not encouraged and repeated.

Herman Cain is repeatedly referred to as the “flavor of the month.” Presumably the flavor is chocolate. Hillary Clinton supporters know if Barack Obama was disparaged as the “flavor of the month” Big Media would call that a dog whistle, racial code, ‘racism at its most blatant’!

Talk about a “black cloud” of debt over the economy and Big Media declares it racist code. Everything is “racist code” to Big Media and Obama Dimocrats if it in any way reflects the truth – that Barack Obama is a corrupt treacherous Boob.

Today, Obama lovin’ JournoLister Ben Smith once again deploys the race card on behalf of Barack Obama and Obama Dimocrats:

“A reader sends over this striking mailer from the campaign for Ohio Issue 2, a Wisconsin-style measure to roll back public employee unions.

The contrast — between the shadowed president and the bright white citizens — is hard to miss, and the details of the proposal are buried by the clear anti-Obama message.”

“The shadowed president” reeks of the same false accusations made by the DailyKooks (a.k.a. The Kook Klutz Klan) against Hillary Clinton’s campaign – that it had darkened Obama’s skin color in advertisements and was engaged in RACISM.

As we have repeatedly written Barack Obama is poison and the Republicans know it and are smart to take advantage of Obama’s lack of popularity to push issues and candidates. JournoLister Ben Smith somehow does not understand this simple idea and persists in race-baiting on behalf of Barack Obama and his diminished band of loser Obama Dimocrats.

It does not enter into JournoLister Ben Smith’s mind that calling Herman Cain a “flavor of the month” is disparaging and that such language deployed against Barack Obama would have made front page headlines and manufactured outrage against the RACISM.

It is difficult for JournoLister Ben Smith and the Obama lovin’ Big Media to acknowledge that Herman Cain is a black man and a Republican and a top tier candidate for the Republican nomination. In June of 2010 we tried to clue the dolts as to how the Republican Party has adapted to circumstances and demographics while the Obama Dimocrats and JournoListers are still peddling race-baiting:

“Consider, yesterday the Hopium Guzzler dream of 40 years of Dimocratic rule due to demographic changes in the American electorate was shattered. In primary elections yesterday Republicans nominated a 38 year old woman as their nominee for Governor in the state of South Carolina. That she is a former Sikh and of sub-continent Indian heritage shows that Republicans will, as we predicted, adjust to whatever demographic realities develop. The future belongs to the swift, not the corrupt. In addition, black Republican Tim Scott, also endorsed by Sarah Palin, beat the son of long dead segregationist Strom Thurmond in a big victory and will likely become the next congressman from the South Carolina district. It’s not just Nikki Haley and Tim Scott – there are others. Louisiana Governor (and Indian-American) Bobby Jindal might be joined by “rainbow” candidates such as Susana Martinez (New Mexico governor nominee), Marco Rubio (Florida Senate nominee), and lots of women.”

Race Baiter and JournoLister Ben Smith needs to read our article “Mistake in ’08 Part VI – The Republicans React“:

“In earlier Mistake In ’08 installments (see HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE) we have outlined the massive historical mistake the Democratic establishment inflicted on the now dead party of FDR/Hillary Clinton by gifting Barack Obama the nomination. The Mistake in ’08 is coming home to roost this November.

The crackpot theories espoused by “strategists” such as Ruy Teixeira assured the Democratic establishment that if Barack Obama became the 2008 Democratic nominee there would be an endless vista of Democratic control of Congress and the White House for generations unto generations. What we call the Obama “situation comedy” demographic strategy was the future, according to these crackpot theories that have so destroyed the party of FDR/Hillary Clinton.

Instead of endless victories and a “cemented” and expanded Democratic majority in 2010, Obama has led the party to an electoral Waterloo. Not only will Republicans expand, if not cement their majority in 2010, they will do so in a post census redistricting year.”

In that article we discussed Marco Rubio (still the likely Republican VP) and the Latino vote:

“How would Obama Dimocrats counter such a candidacy – with low level Latino functionaries at the OD DNC or with Latino movie or singing stars? Certainly Obama Dimocrats could not produce a powerhouse Latino Dimocrat to counter Rubio because there is no powerhouse Latino Dimocrat.”

This past week Politico competitor The National Journal (Ben Smith should read them) caught up with our analysis from years ago:

“Obama looking to shore up his standing with Latinos, but it would help to have high-profile Hispanic candidates by his side.
President Obama’s numbers are cratering with nearly every demographic, but the latest Gallup weekly tracking poll shows his approval dropping most steeply among Latinos. It portends poorly not only for the president, but for a Democratic coalition that increasingly depends on their strong support.

Obama’s support among Latinos dropped 20 points since his election, with only 47 percent of Latinos approving of his job performance, according to the poll. [snip]

Talk to enough Democratic strategists about the 2012 landscape and one sees the problem extends beyond the presidency. They say a dearth of viable statewide Latino candidates is hurting the party’s chances.”

National Journal reports that Barack Obama is desperately trying to recruit some token Latinos to try and spice up the Obama Dimocratic Party. It’s more Obama flim-flam to try to help himself in 2012:

“Obama’s involvement strongly suggests that the White House is acutely aware of the need for Democrats to have a Latino candidate running for statewide office—at a time Republicans will be showcasing their own talent. [snip]

Obama’s reelection team also has been routinely highlighting Arizona as a state it feels it can win, thanks to the growing number of Hispanic voters. What would it say about Obama’s own prospects in Arizona if Democrats don’t have a credible candidate to run in a winnable Senate seat?

But Arizona-based Democratic strategists aren’t nearly as optimistic about Obama’s prospects in the Grand Canyon State. Its economy is struggling and many white voters are still mad that his administration sued to prevent the state’s immigration law from taking effect.

Making matters worse is the escalating Operation Fast and Furious scandal.”

The Obama Dimocratic Party is trying to flim-flam Latinos. The flim-flam is to sucker some sad-sack to be window dressing for Barack Obama (who continues to be irked by Hillary Clinton and the persistent rumors). Meanwhile the Republicans continue to expand their team of minority members running for public office and actually having a chance of victory. the latest Latino to add to this group is Ted Cruz, “the GOP secret weapon for 2012”.

Ted Cruz was a big hit at this months Values Voter conference of conservatives. Texas Senate candidate Ted Cruz is more evidence that the Ruy Teixiera Obama Dimocrat nonsense about a bright Obama Dimocrat future due to demographics is a phony dream that will likely turn into a nightmare.

For now the nightmare (is “nightmare” racist code? You know, night is dark and shadowy so that could be a dog whistle to racists right?) for Obama Dimocrats is chocolate Herman Cain. The dark chocolate Cain now has money and in his words “it’s time for me to be a job creator” and build up an organization.

We first wrote about Herman Cain in 2010 in One Dumb Black Man, One Smart Black Man (Cain is the smart one):

“We’re not fans of multi-millionaire Cain but he is playing a very shrewd game. As a successful business owner of a very popular food product (we’re not fans of his pizza either but sales figures tell us it is tasty to many), he can easily vault to the top ranks of Republican grassroots leadership as a voice that potentially reaches black voters as well as Tea Party activists. And Cain can do so with a non race based appeal even as his race will certainly be a matter of discussion.”

We’re bigger fans of Herman Cain now but we still don’t like his pizza. We still don’t think he will be the nominee. We were right that “he can easily vault to the top ranks of Republican grassroots leadership” and that he is a Tea Party favorite (weren’t they supposed to be racists?).

Fate has kissed the hard working Herman Cain sweetly on the top of his chocolate head. The “flavor of the month” proud black man who does not race bait is sitting pretty atop the polls.

First it was the PPP poll that had an “oh my” Cain 30, Romney 22, Gingrich 15, Perry 14. Oh my indeed.

Then today, lightning strikes twice with Cain at 27, Romney 23, Perry 16, Paul 11 All this without having to race-bait the way Barack Obama does. Oh my my.

[And consider this: “Perry’s lost 22 points since the last poll — and not a single one went to Romney. That’s how reluctant base voters are to back him over some other conservative in the field.”]

Herman Cain, the once ridiculed 9-9-9 flavor has proved he is the little engine that could. Herman Cain is taken seriously and many are now asking “should conservatives back the 9-9-9 plan?”

Cancer survivor Herman Cain is changing the face of the Republican Party. Like it or not, he is more than just a flavor of the month. Herman Cain is a Tea Party favorite and a black man in the Republican Party who has reached the top. Yes, he can. And he did it all without race-baiting.

Hooray for Herman Cain!

Obama’s Iran Contra BoobaPalooza: No Preconditions Leads to Iran Terror Leads To Fast And Furious Mexican Drug Cartels Hired To Murder For Iran

So Eric Holder ran away from yesterday’s Iran Terror publicity stunt press conference because he was asked about Fast and Furious – Fast and Furious is the Obama program to give guns and ammo to Mexican drug cartels – Then we are told that the Iran government tried to hire Mexican drug cartel personnel to kill the Saudi ambassador in Washington. Does anyone smell a whiff of Reagan era Iran-Contra?????

What the Hell is going on?????

Larry Johnson is right to scratch is head in disbelief. The Crawdads have scratched heads too. Maybe it is all a coincidence and we have gone off the deep end, but we do think Hillary is onto something even if she is not exactly saying what we think she is saying:

“The idea that they would attempt to go to a Mexican drug cartel to solicit murder-for-hire to kill the Saudi ambassador, nobody could make that up, right?” [Hillary]Clinton told The Associated Press.”

We don’t know what to think about the alleged terror plot or what smells an awful lot like Iran-Contra but we certainly want a lot more information. If we find Obama sent a Koran to Ahmadinejad our heads will not explode.

Iran-Contra involved “senior Reagan administration officials and President Reagan secretly facilitated the sale of arms to Iran… The scandal began as an operation to free American hostages being held by terrorist groups with Iranian ties. It was planned that Israel would ship weapons to Iran, and then the U.S. would resupply Israel and receive the Israeli payment. The Iranian recipients promised to do everything in their power to achieve the release of six U.S. hostages, who were being held by the Lebanese Shia Islamist group Hezbollah, who in turn were connected to the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution. The plan deteriorated into an arms-for-hostages scheme, in which members of the executive branch sold weapons to Iran in exchange for the release of the American hostages.”

Money went to anti-Sandinista rebels in Nicaragua back then and we still do not have a full account of what happened. But Israel giving weapons to Iran and money from that transaction used to fund Latin American counter insurgency – “Nobody could make that up, right?

We don’t know what the Hell is going on but we sure as blazes want to know. The one thing we do know is that Obama is a boob and his boobery is a danger. Recall “no preconditions”.

Obama in 2007 lied extensively and repeatedly after he declared his “no preconditions” stupidity. We won’t review that history today (here and here for those that need a reminder). But we warned at the time that such stupidity would be viewed as weakness by America’s enemies. We warned Obama is a danger.

The Iranian government certainly has viewed Obama as someone to treat with the utmost contempt. Can anyone make the case that Obama deserves anything but contempt? (Larry Johnson also flags the report that Obama wanted to apologize to the Japanese for the nuclear bombings of the Japanese Empire in World War II. Whether the Japanese waved him off or not the Obama weakness and potential apology is always hovering in the air.)

From the standpoint of Obama weakness it makes sense that Iran would make terror moves in the United States with impunity. But little makes sense about Fast and Furious, starting with the fact that a supposed gun tracing operation had little to no tracing of guns.

Attorney General Eric Holder running away from Fast and Furious questions at the Iran Terror assassination press conference does make sense if we are not supposed to see a connection between the two issues.

We need answers about Fast and Furious in a most fast and most furious way. There is a huge coverup going on and we need answers real fast.

Sharyl Attkisson of CBS (CBS? What a pleasant surprise) has been intimidated by Obama thugs to get her to stop digging and stop reporting. But Sharyl Attkisson is on the job:

“In Fast and Furious, the ATF allegedly allowed thousands of assault rifles and other weapons into the hands of suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels. The idea was to see where the weapons ended up, and take down a cartel. But the guns have been found at many crime scenes in Mexico and the U.S., including the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry last December.

A source familiar with the Oversight Committee’s plans tells CBS News the subpoena request was prompted by the Justice Department dragging its feet in voluntarily turning over information to investigators, and new documents obtained by CBS News last week which seem to contradict Holder’s account of when he learned of the operation.

More questions were raised by the documents reported on last week, which indicate senior officials at the Justice Department knew at least something of Fast and Furious, and memos were sent directly to the Attorney General as long as ten months before he told Congress he first heard of the case.”

Today Congressman Issa issued subpoenas for Holder demanding full documentation on Fast and Furious. Issa might have to expand his investigation into areas even he did not suspect if there is any connection to Iran and the guns of Mexican cartels provided courtesy of Barack Obama. We’ll wait and see if and when “national security” is invoked.

Today’s statement by Joe Biden that we’ll unite the world to isolate Iran by doing pretty much what we’ve been doing all along is not reassuring. Of course neither Joe Biden nor Hillary Clinton are in charge.

No, the boob in charge is the one that was angry and disagreed with Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden – the boob in charge is the one that wanted to have “no preconditions” when it came to Iran. Such weakness invites attack.

The boob is in charge and we are in danger. Iran and the Mexican crime cartels are safe.

Zoo Story: Zoo-cotti Park, Perry’s Promise And The Republican Debate Tonight

Chris Christie endorsed Willard Mitt Romney today. Unfortunately Christie repeatedly talked about pie, growing the pie, smaller pie, bigger pie…. He was talking about the economic pie, but for some reason our funny bone was tickled.

The Christie endorsement of Willard Mitt Romney is an attempt to get a snowball rolling down the mountain and give Willard some momentum. It won’t work. No matter who gets in or gets out or what happens, Republican voters shift to someone other than Willard.

Another reason to hold a pre-debate press conference today was to try and hurt Rick Perry with the Mormon controversy of recent days. It won’t work.

We have written that the Mormon issue would come up again and predict now it will emerge yet again – just before the evangelical heavy Iowa caucuses. It will happen again because it works – it worked for Ted Kennedy when he ran against Romney:

“Willard Mitt Romney is the presumed Republican front runner. We suppose he could get the nomination. But we doubt it.

First of all, Willard is a Mormon. Nobody likes to talk about this but evangelical Christians do not think kindly of Mormons. There are many reasons for this, which we will not get into because we do not want to get involved in sectarian violence. But do remember that Ted Kennedy, the Chappaquiddick Chauffeur who engineered the coup that gifted Obama the nomination, used Romney’s Mormonism to destroy Romney years ago when Romney ran against Kennedy for the Senate seat from Massachusetts.

And if you think Barack Obama and his army of thugs do not know that history of Ted and Willard’s Excellent Adventure and will not use the same religious line of attack against Romney, well then you should get out of here and go back to your coloring book and videos of Barney.”

Many Republicans and conservatives are upset at what they call the religious bigotry and are quaking in fear about what it says regarding Republicans. But, hey, read up on the Ted Kennedy campaign and what they did in South Boston to bang the anti Mormon drum. And while evangelicals have valid doctrinal reasons to declare Mormons non-Christians and to therefore oppose Mormons, perhaps the pearl clutching Republicans/conservatives should highlight the liberal anti-Mormonism:

“Politically, more Democrats than Republicans say they would be less likely to support a Mormon candidate. Liberal Democrats stand out, with 41% saying they would be less likely to support a Mormon candidate. Only about a quarter or fewer in other groups say this.”

Don’t forget the flip-flopping:

And today we learn that Obama consulted Romney advisers on ObamaCare. Not even Chris Christie can intelligently shill for Romney on RomneyCare to ObamaCare.

So even with all the recent bad news about Rick Perry and his bumbling performance at the last debate, we still think Perry will be the Republicans nominee.

Charlie Cook agrees with this assessment:

“The Cook Report: It’s Perry’s to Win

If he learns from his mistakes, the Texas governor will be Barack Obama’s opponent in the fall. [snip]

It comes down to Perry’s capacity to turn the corner.

Clearly, most Republican voters would much prefer a very, very, very conservative nominee to the more buttoned-down Romney. (Even if he has shed his pinstriped suits and nice ties in favor of sports shirts and khakis, he still looks like he could be a Haggar slacks model.) It’s unclear whether they want, or will end up supporting, Perry—but, obviously, they want a Perry-like conservative. But it comes down to Perry’s capacity to turn the corner, to become a national, as opposed to a Texas or a Deep South, candidate.

Perry has shown a proclivity to step on his own body parts and will undoubtedly do so again. The question is whether he learns from his mistakes. If he does, he will be the GOP nominee and stands a fair chance of beating President Obama, given the horrific economy and the public’s loss of confidence in the president. If he doesn’t and isn’t more careful about what he says and how he says it, Perry will either lose the nomination, or he will win it and then lose a general election that’s there for the taking. Simple as that.”

What about Herman Cain?:

“By traditional yardsticks of measuring a presidential candidate’s potential success, he falls short. For hard-charging conservatives who have become disillusioned with Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, and now Perry, and who have resisted the appeal of Ron Paul and Rick Santorum, Cain may be the new flavor of the month. But without the apparatus, money, or expertise in actually winning a party’s nomination, it’s doubtful that he can go very far. The current flurry won’t keep the titans of business and finance on the sidelines; their skepticism will likely mirror that of the political pros and pundits.”

Cain is doing remarkably well but we suspect that is because he is a bit of a charmer and because Republicans don’t want Willard and recoiled at the Rick Perry they saw in the most recent debate. Cain could conceivably acquire a campaign organization as other campaigns collapse and get oodles of cash sufficient to compete with Perry’s $17 million haul, but we won’t believe it until we see it.

Many call tonight “the Perry last chance debate. Rick Perry better perform well tonight or his promising campaign will flutter to the ground dead. Perry has been trying to “shape the battleground” with a new Perry ad attacking ObamneyCare:

Via the New York Times Perry operatives promise that for tonight, Perry will (as we strongly suggested) prepared and studied for the debate. Perry will also get some sleep before the debate.

We’ll be commenting in our smart-alecky way tonight when the debate starts at 8:00 p.m. ET.

* * * * * *

While the Republicans debate, the Occupy Wall Street rave has turned into a zoo. We wrote we would take Occupy Wall Street seriously and with respect when we see them act seriously and with respect. When they move to occupy Lafayette Park and take the fight to Barack Obama we will treat them as something more than a zoo. But we are not holding our collective breaths.

How can anyone take the Zoo-cotti (Zoo-cooties?) rave and their supporters seriously when you read something like this:

“Occupation can lead to ownership, whether or not you want it.

The spread of the “Occupy Wall Street” movement was met with initial hesitation in both the Democratic and Republican parties. That might be an appropriate response to any protests that aim themselves squarely at the establishment, particularly those with goals that are diverse and diffuse as the current protesters’ are.

But a consensus is emerging among Democrats that the “Occupy” movement is worth tapping into, even helping along and joining with in some instances.

I support the message to the establishment,” House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said on ABC’s “This Week.” “Change has to happen. We cannot continue in a way that does not — that is not relevant to their lives. People are angry.”

Honey, you are the establishment. The counterculture of the 1960s is the establishment. Nancy Pelosi is the establishment. Granted, Pelosi and the counterculture of the 1960s cum establishment of the 21st century has proven a great disappointment. After all, Gloria Steinem fundraising for “hostile work place for women” Barack Obama, was the last heel in the coffin.

As to the Occupy Wall Street Zoo-cotti Park activities there are some things that make sensible people dizzy with laughter:

“It started as a gathering of furious youngsters, protesting about the supposed lack of opportunities for the average American.

But then the freeloaders came along.

As the Occupy Wall Street protest continued in full strength in Manhattan this weekend, the atmosphere in New York’s financial district became increasingly debauched.

Conspicuously living among the politically active in the makeshift village in Zuccotti Park are opportunistic junkies and homeless people – making the most of the free food on offer.

Also present and infuriating the hard core of activists are a number of teens looking to turn the gathering into an urban rave.

Among the banners and flags are now discarded packets of condoms, cigarettes and bottles of spirits, while naked youngsters happily get together with just sleeping bags covering their modesty. [snip]

Among the activists, however, clearly there are some on the ground with less noble intentions.

Most of the kids are trust-fund babies. They don’t need to be here,’ Andre, a 40-year-old activist told the New York Post.”

The sex, drugs, and homeless don’t bother too many other than the pearl clutchers. The trust-fund babies have a right to whine too. But there is a certain stupidity which really disgusts.

Why do the Zoo-cotties tolerate, nay, cheer someone like Russell Simmons? Russell Simmons is a multi-millionaire owner of a debit card company. And they are cheering him?

Kanye West, with elective dentistry to replace his regular teeth with gold teeth, thick gold chains draped round his neck, arrived at Zoo-cottie in a $300,000 car and a $300.00 shirt – and he was cheered. Do the Zoo-cottie’s think West and Simmons are part of the alleged 99% (Tea Party activists are not allowed in that 99% nor are the white working class we presume since they are not part of the Obama situation comedy coalition)?

Ed Rendell told Occupy Wall Street Zoo-cooties to “Go Home. Imagine however if our advice to the Zoo is taken and they decide to go rogue:

“OWS has a far better chance of advancing its agenda by acting as a tea-party-esque weight on Obama’s left than by lining up as good soldiers for his campaign. And O surely realizes it: That’s part of the reason I don’t buy the theory that these protests were organized by the Democratic brain trust. There’s way too much that can go wrong for them with a crowd this radical, from momentum for a primary challenge to the sort of nightmare scenario described by Rendell in recalling the 1968 Democratic convention. What’ll be lots of fun over the next month or two is watching how the media handles its love affair with the protesters if they end up coalescing around principles that are a bit too far left for Democrats to market to undecided voters. Job one, above all else, is reelecting Obama to beat back the wingnut hordes, and there’s a chance that OWS could make that job harder, not easier. What will the New York Times op-ed page do then?”

The Zoo animals should get out of their cages and fight against Barack Obama. Until then, we’ll throw peanut shells into the cages and mock them.
