Republicans And The September 7 Obama Speech That Will Live In Infamy

Update II: Can it be true? At this moment, 9:40 p.m. reports are coming in that Obama has boobed again. He’s caved. Weakling Obama moves the publicity stunt to September 8. Update to update II – it’s confirmed – speech has been moved.

Update: It’s a Boobnanza! Speaker Boehner has told Obama to move it to September 8. September 8 is the start of the football season. Well played Speaker Boehner. You’re a Boob Obama.

Hey Republicans – GET A CLUE. What the Hell are you doing? Why are you helping NBC and Politico? Why did you agree to have a debate with either of these two Obama propaganda cesspools?

Hey Republicans, Barack Obama has boobed again. Take advantage of his boobery. PERMANENTLY CANCEL THE NBC/POLITICO MUGGING DEBATE.

In 2008 we repeatedly warned the Hillary Clinton campaign:

“We also understand that the campaign does not want to get into a feud with Big Media in general, nor NBC/MSNBC in particular. But guys, Hillary campaign, get this: NBC and MSNBC are already at war with you. Fight back. DON’T PARTICIPATE IN NBC OR MSNBC DEBATES.”

We warned and warned and warned:

“How do we fight that bias without taking on the whole Big Media establishment overtly?

Short of taking on all of Big Media overtly, make an example of NBC/MSNBC. DON’T PARTICIPATE IN NBC OR MSNBC DEBATES.”

Politico is not much better than NBC. The beauty of this situation is that Barack Obama is the one who has stabbed his propaganda ministers at NBC and Politico in the back. This is why we call him a TREACHEROUS BOOB.

Barack Obama has stabbed his Big Media whores but this time he is the one who can be made to bleed. Already we see peeved Politico pissing on the boob:

“The timing of the speech nettles Republicans and some members of the political press. Eight Republican presidential candidates are scheduled to gather at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library at 8 p.m. ET for a two-hour debate sponsored by POLITICO and NBC News.”

Translation of the above excerpt: Obama Big Media Whore Online Politico and broadcast Big Media Whore NBC are upset with the knife in their back. The initials on that knife are B.O.

What should Republicans do? How should Republicans respond?

The usually smart Legal Insurrection suggests Speaker Boehner turn-down-Obama. This is E over I (emotion over intelligence). This suggestion is emotionally satisfying but not the smart thing to do.

Let’s analyze:

Insecure and emotionally crippled Barack Obama (who wouldn’t be an emotional insecure mess if they were dumped by mommy as she traveled the world looking for third world men; and sperm donor dad wanted to put him up for adoption; and white grandma and grandad gave him up to a pedophile communist at an early age) wanted to remind himself and everyone that he is president and he can big foot the Republicans.

Obama also wanted to take attention away from the Republicans and grab the spotlight for his Voldemort soul.

So turn it around Republicans. HotAir correctly notes that now Republicans get to respond to Obama’s speech and will likely get more attention than with the debate. But HotAir is thinking small.

Here is what we suggest:

Cancel the NBC/Politico mugging debate.

Then, have all the Republican candidates for president stand behind the person who delivers the Republican response to Obama. That person should be someone like Latina Governor Susanna Martinez of New Mexico or Latino Senator from Florida Marco Rubio or an African-American Republican like Tim Scott or Allen West. In other words send a visual message (hey, isn’t that what television is for?) with the messenger and all the candidates in the background.

What should the Republican response be? What about reminding Americans of some of Obama’s greatest booberies. Remind Americans that everything Obama touches (Solyndra anyone) turns to sh… not gold.

Don’t forget to mention that the economy is already in an Obama double dip of sh… recession. Do mention that the Obama stimulus scam was a total failure designed to poach workers not increase new hires from the unemployed.

Consider mentioning the race-baiting and race hatred stirred up by Barack Obama and his minions against the Tea Party and anyone who opposes Barack Obama.

Don’t mention good ol’ Uncle Obama, the drunken car near-killer.

And Republican guys and gals, if you really really want to slap Obama in the face and get him absolutely unhinged – here is our self-interested suggestion:

You’ve got a great opportunity here Republicans:

(1) You can get NBC and Politico angry at their golden calf.

(2) You can screw NBC and Politico and still have clean… hands.

(3) You can get your message out to a wider audience and demonstrate the new found diversity in your ranks.

(4) You can postpone the fight Big Media wants to trumpet which will inevitably erupt at the Perry versus Romney fistfight debate.

(5) And you can slap Barack Obama around and get him all emotionally twisted and screaming.

And if you do mention Hillary – Michelle will rip off every sleeve in the capital thereby creating many new jobs for seamstresses. Think of it as a jobs program.

It’s all win for you and all loss for the boob that can’t speak straight.

Half-A-Cane Irene Is Gone, Back To The Obama Clown Follies

Time for everyone to get out of their wet clothes and into a dry martini. Big Media living rooms in the places that matter are happy people filled due to the great ratings of the past week. Those of you with basements flooded or without power are bitter racists clinging to bibles and guns and denying Obama made the oceans recede. Racist rats!

As we gear up to return to our regularly scheduled programming post Half-a-cane Irene we were thrown off track again by a funny press conference performance by the carney clown in the White House press room.

Here, join us and have a hearty laugh:

“At today’s White House press briefing WorldNetDaily White House correspondent Lester Kinsolving asked Jay Carney if President Obama is “certain” that Hillary Clinton won’t primary him. This comes after Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Obama has moved to the right because he has no primary opponent.

Carney said the White House is pretty certain Clinton won’t challenge Obama, however he tells Kinsolving “you’ll have to ask her.”

Every time this question is asked it takes a bite out of Obama’s heart. Transcript of the exchange:

“Q Just one. Just one. Just one. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders said — and this is a quote — “One of the reasons the President has moved so far to the right is there is no primary opposition to him.” And my question: Why is the President certain that Hillary won’t run against him? (Laughter.)

MR. CARNEY: You win the award for originality today.

Q Thank you very much.

MR. CARNEY: The President is focused not on any election — he’s focused right now on doing his job to grow the economy, create jobs, ensure that Americans who are in the path of this hurricane are taken care of. That’s what he’s focused on.

Q I understand. You’re running away from this question. I mean, can you guarantee that — are you sure that –

MR. CARNEY: You’d have to ask –

Q — Hillary is not going to run?

MR. CARNEY: You’d have to ask her. We’re fairly confident –

Q That she won’t?

MR. CARNEY: — that we need to focus on the task at hand.

We don’t know what Carney Clown thinks the “task at hand” is. Perhaps its that Social Security, driver’s license business with dear ol’ drunk and deadly Uncle Obama.

Might as well deal with drunk and deadly Obama because that reelection task at hand is not going so well:

If the election were next Tuesday he’d lose. That’s how bad it is,” said a Democratic strategist.

Obama and his Republican opponents in Congress left Washington in early August bruised and bloodied after the protracted debt-ceiling fight. As both congressional leaders and the White House were exhaling — pleased that a potential national default was dodged — Standard and Poor’s downgraded the nation’s credit rating. That sent markets tumbling across the globe, sparking more partisan finger-pointing. [snip]

And the president’s vacation turned out to be a political liability as he attracted criticism for relaxing in ritzy Martha’s Vineyard amid the economic downturn.

In-between meals and golf outings, Obama was briefed on an earthquake that hit the East Coast, Hurricane Irene and the ongoing strife in Libya as rebels appeared to be close to toppling dictator Moammar Gadhafi.[snip]

Settled back in Washington, with a head start over Congress, Obama will start the fall battles with his long-awaited jobs speech, which has already garnered unrealistic expectations and skepticism from both the left and the right.

While Obama promised shortly before his vacation that his speech will include a specific plan to create jobs, analysts and lawmakers are doubtful that the president will roll out much more than the infrastructure, payroll tax and trade plans that he has been pushing Congress on for months.”

With all that Hillary primary talk and the sure to be economic boobery next week Obama should call Uncle Obama and, after emptying several liquor bottles, discuss how stupid Massachusetts cops are. Or they could both laugh at how easy it is to fool people into giving them things – like Social Security numbers or the White House.

But what is given can be taken away. And as the Obama Dimocrats up for election in 2012 contemplate the future with Obama they might just decide that it is time to take away what was never theirs to give. That’s why the Hillary 2012 questions will not go away and why Obama will find no rest no matter how many vacations and golfing weeks he takes.

Big Media And Hurricane Irene

Update: Too bad so many spoke out so late about the hype of Half-a-cane Irene.

As noted in the comments by Basil99 the comments about Obama are hurricane force HERE. There is a good post on HotAir about Hurricane Politics (“This wasn’t about saving people from a rain storm.. it was about saving political careers from a crap storm of bad PR.”. Big Media deceived the public with terrorizing talk – for profit. Instead of discussing what was witnessed by reporters they embellished the lack of wind/rain with ‘but it’s gonna be reallllllllly bad whatever your lying eyes tell you’.

The article at HotAir notes what we have discussed for years about this being the Age of Fake. Everything is phony. Instead of leadership we get publicity stunts designed to fake real leadership. Toby Hamden does a good but belated job as well across the pond regarding the hurricane hype.

Americans have not been fooled by Obama’s boobery or Big Media’s attempt to salvage him. If Half-a-cane Irene was a fizzle of drizzle, Barack Obama is still a drip.

As you drink you Hurricane cocktails do not miss the story of Obama’s uncle (the one he wrote about in his book then dropped like a hot potato). Obama’s uncle got drunk, hit a cop car then asked to call the White House. Only in America kids, only in America.

If there is one thing that Big Media distorts and exploits for its own benefit even more than politics, it’s – the weather.

As we have written for years now, Big Media distorts our politics for the benefit of what we have to call the Big Media Party.

Now that Tim Russert is interviewing Osama Bin Laden in a very special place reserved for them because of their deeds, let’s look at the Big Media coverage of Hurricane Irene.

Have you noticed that for all the “New York will be destroyed’ innuendo and fear mongering (aided and abetted by ass covering politicians who do not want to be accused of not learning the “lessons of Hurricane Katrina”) there has been close to zero, if not actually zero, mentions of the last “hurricane” that blasted New York City? That’s because after much the same hype as we witness today Hurricane Gloria was a dud. Gloria was anything but glorious. Hurricane Gloria is best described as D.O.A.

An article like this is difficult to write because we do not want to encourage idiots who literally do not know when to get out of the rain. But is Hurricane Irene and the terror inducing coverage by Big Media justified? Shouldn’t there be some discussion of the interests of Big Media in driving everyone to TV sets. You betcha.

Without doubt Hurricane Irene will destroy piers and knock boats about and, along with high tides and surges, cause destruction of many homes, businesses and infrastructure. But this certainly is not a “killer storm”, at least not yet. How many people have been killed by Hurricane Irene? The hurricane directly hit islands in the Caribbean but we have not heard of any deaths. Have you?

Of course low lying areas (such as the below sea level New Orleans during Katrina) will be hard hit. If you live in these areas watch out and take all necessary precautions. The D.C. swamp is low lying in more ways than one and might be extra hard hit.

Even if you are not in low lying areas but in the storm path or periphery you should take precautions (hint: it’s the power shortages that will bite). But that goes without having to say it, doesn’t it. In every home there should be (near the door) emergency supplies and evacuation plans. Fires can strike at any time and other disasters are always looming. Preparation is the best antidote to fear at those times.

How bad is Hurricane Irene? Some are beginning to speak up on the sensible side and asking the right questions about Hurricane Irene and the Big Media stroking of fear and panic in search of viewers:

This post by Dr. Simon Atkins is making the rounds thanks to a Drudge link, but after reading it and listening to Mark Levin’s interview with the author, it sounds like he’s perfectly in line with what we knew a few hours ago. In brief:

1. The early fears that this thing might hit NYC head on as a Category 3 or even a Category 4 and tear the city limb from limb have faded.

2. It’s still going to do lots of damage, but apparently massive flooding from storm surges is now the main threat. Gusts of wind should top out at “only” 60-70 mph by the time Irene hits here, but because the storm’s moving slowly, that gives it extra time to blow water from the ocean into the streets and subways.

3. While somewhat less of a threat now, the wind may still pose unique dangers to skyscrapers. I haven’t heard anyone speculate yet that office towers might topple over, but someone tweeted to me earlier that once you get above the 25th floor or so, the storm is one category higher than it is on the ground. Avoid tall buildings at all costs, and in the name of all that’s holy, don’t stand underneath them. Windows will shatter and glass will fall.”

The Simon Atkins article which so many read so avidly last night at DrudgeReport comports with what can be seen by anyone who believes their own eyes not what lying Big Media “reports” for it’s own profit interests:

“The hype over Hurricane Irene is overblown, predicts the CEO of Advanced Forecasting Corporation.

“North of Delaware, most hurricane force winds will very likely be gusts, not sustained winds.”

o The demise of Irene has already begun. There is no visible eye. The storm intensity is down to 99 mph. This would be a low-end category 2 or a strong category 1 storm, while 36 hours ago some predicted a catastrophic category 4 storm. Air Force Reserve aircraft have found that Irene’s eyewall has collapsed, and the central pressure has risen — rising pressure means a weakening storm.

o The reduction in storm intensity likely confirms that this storm is not going to be as monstrous as it has been publicly forecast to be.

o Yes, it will be windy. However, north of Delaware most hurricane force winds will very likely be gusts, not sustained winds.”

That is what we noticed when looking at “news reports” (hint: watch the TV but keep the sound off. The words and graphics produced are catnip to keep you watching and in awe. Look and read source materials – in this case satellite images are the best source). There was no “eye” of the storm. Also at times the great round rings of power that surround the eye of killer storms or even semi-strong storms are also missing. What one can see is that on one half the bands are strong but on the other side of the hurricane there are few if any bands at all.

[The Mark Levin interview with Simon Atkins can be listened to HERE.]

The conclusion by Atkins:

“o At Advanced Forecasting Corporation, we are concentrating on the surging waters which typically cause over 85% of the loss of life in hurricanes. We have modeled the following predictions:

1) There will be wind damage over eastern-most North Carolina as well as some storm surge flooding up the Pamlico Sound. Some houses in the Hamptons will be flooded and destroyed. Flooding might occur in New York’s Battery Park Subway station and on the FDR Drive since the city could get up to 8 inches of rain. There may be some New England neighborhoods submerged due to rivers overflowing.

2) With 90% confidence, we predict a total damage bill below $1 billion. Unless there is an unexpected secondary or tertiary event, this is not going to be a huge-loss storm.

o Our internal modeling uses genetic algorithms to emphasize the weaknesses of storms. Remember that storms are energy. Just like people, they all have their own personalities. From the get-go, Irene was not a power storm. Her goal was to become wide, not internally powerful. Personified further, the storm became too big too quickly and it cannot master its own strength.”

The Weather Underground (not Obama’s bomb making friends but a weather related site) agrees with Atkins and Big Pink on a lot of the big points:

“Satellite data and measurements from the Hurricane Hunters show that Irene continues to weaken. A 1:32 pm EDT center fix by an Air Force Reserve aircraft found that Irene’s eyewall is still gone, and the central pressure had risen to 951 mb from a low of 942 mb this morning. The winds measured in Irene near the surface support classifying it as a strong Category 1 hurricane or weak Category 2. Satellite imagery shows a distinctly lopsided appearance to Irene’s cloud pattern, with not much heavy thunderstorm activity on the southwest side. This is due to moderate southwesterly wind shear of 10 – 20 knots. This shear is disrupting Irene’s circulation and has cut off upper-level outflow along the south side of the hurricane. No eye is visible in satellite loops, but the storm’s size is certainly impressive. Long range radar out of Wilmington, North Carolina, shows that the outermost spiral bands from Irene have moved ashore over North Carolina. Winds at buoy 41004 100 miles offshore from Charleston, SC increased to 47 mph, gusting to 60 mph at 3 pm EDT, with significant wave heights of 25 feet. [snip]

With its eyewall collapsed and just 18 more hours over water before landfall, Irene does not have time to build a new eyewall and intensify. The storm is too large to weaken quickly, and the best forecast is that Irene will be a strong Category 1 hurricane at landfall in North Carolina on Saturday. Based on the latest wind analysis from NOAA’s Hurricane Research Division (Figure 2) and Irene’s continued weakening trend, I predict that the 80-mile section of North Carolina coast to the right of where Irene makes landfall will receive sustained hurricane-force winds of 75 – 85 mph on Saturday at landfall; the 80-mile section of coast to the left will receive 55 – 75 mph winds. High wind shear of 30 knots will begin ripping into Irene Sunday morning when it is near Southern New Jersey, and more rapid weakening will occur. By the time Irene arrives on Long Island Sunday afternoon, it will probably have top sustained winds in the 65 – 75 mph range. However, since Irene is such a huge storm–tropical storm force winds extend out up to 290 miles from the center–it has set a massive amount of the ocean’s surface in motion, which will cause a much larger storm surge than the winds would suggest. At 3:30 pm EDT this afternoon, a wind analysis from NOAA/HRD (Figure 2) indicated that the potential storm surge damage from Irene still rated a 5.0 on a scale of 0 to 6. This is equivalent to the storm surge a typical Category 4 hurricane would have. While this damage potential should steadily decline as Irene moves northwards and weakens, we can still expect a storm surge one full Saffir-Simpson Category higher than Irene’s winds when it impacts the coast. Since tides are at their highest levels of the month this weekend due to the new moon, storm surge flooding will be at a maximum during the high tidal cycles that will occur at 8 pm Saturday night and 8 am Sunday morning. Wherever Irene happens to be at those times, the storm surge damage potential will be maximized. I continue to give a 20% chance that a 3 – 4 foot storm surge high enough to over-top the Manhattan flood walls and swamp the New York City subway system will occur on Sunday. The latest 11 am probabilistic storm surge map from NHC shows a 20 – 30% chance of a storm surge in excess of 3 feet in New York Harbor (Figure 4.) Keep in mind that these maps are calculated for normal tide level, and this weekend’s high tides will be nearly 1 foot above normal.”

Hurricane Irene is wide and bringing lots of water and it is a shame it did not go into Texas which needs the water. Texas would likely pay the price of the wind damage in order to get all that rain water.

North Carolina, accustomed to hurricanes of all varieties is helping its northern neighbors by taking Irene’s punch and weakening it. Say “thank you North Carolina” D.C.’ers and New Yorkers and Pennsylvania (and did anyone notice that Mayor Nutter has not attempted to shut down Philadelphia like Bloomberg has to New York even though Philly will be hit harder than New York?).

Hey! Donald Trump is correct about ratings and Big Media:

No Big Pink article should be complete without noting Barack Obama and his interests. When Texas and other “red” states were suffering from fires or floods Barack Obama barely noticed until it was very late. But North Carolina? Barack Obama knows that without North Carolina he has zero shot of winning reelection and so North Carolina has been treated to immediate attention. It is deserved attention and we are not saying otherwise. But we are saying that if was a “red” state with problems Barack Obama would have extended his vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.

* * * * * *

We know our readers are sensible and will take sensible precautions and stay safe. The big danger will be power shortages so prepare. Remember what we told the Obama Hopium priests in 2008: “Hope is not a strategy.”

Our best wishes to our newly liberated friends at Martha’s Vineyard as well as those commemorating what happened 91 years ago.

As always, not just when Big Media pulls your chain and rings Pavlovian bells, stay safe and be well.

Update: Via those nogoodniks at Crawdad, the latest “tweet” from Charles Krauthammer:

“Earthquake, hurricane, Obamacare. When does it stop? Seven more and I vote we let the Israelites go.”

The Post Steve Jobs Resignation Question: After All The Treachery, Boobery, Thuggery, And Corruption – Who Will Miss Barack Obama If He Quits?

Because of the recent flood surge of ‘Obama should quit’ and ‘Hillary should run in 2012’ articles we’re working on a series of articles on what can be done to make Hillary 2012 a reality.

We’re also working on a series of articles to discuss what a President Hillary Clinton would have done as compared with the mess President Boob Obama has committed.

While working on that series of articles we hit on an obvious question: Who would mourn if Obama quit?

Republicans will mourn a loss of the opportunity to beat Obama at the ballot box but they will also celebrate not having to run against an incumbent who will corruptly wield all the powers and financial advantages of the presidency. So count out Republicans from the “miss Obama” list.

The creeps, thugs, henchmen and operatives Obama has surrounded himself with will be unhappy to lose jobs and money from the Obama campaign but they will move on and certainly by now they can’t tolerate Obama either.

African-Americans? Will they mourn the loss of the golden calf? There might be some resentment against Obama opponents but not much else. There will be despondency that they were so wrong in voting overwhelmingly in the general election and many primaries for skin color not content of character. Surely they will lament that Obama was such a boob. But like Libyans, they will be glad to be rid of a creep that has decimated the black middle class and spawned unemployment among black youth and the entire black community. We doubt blacks will mourn the loss of Boob Obama.

Will Boob Obama be missed by young people? Not since such numbers began to be tracked, in 1948, has youth employment been so low. The young won’t miss the Boob.

Compare the thought of ‘Obama Quits’ with the reality of ‘Steve Jobs Quits’. Even those who cannot bear the near cult attitude of Apple consumers and resent the nauseating ‘Apple is so great’ chants understand that Steve Jobs deserves kudos and respect.

That Steve Jobs has quit his job and left a competent successor ameliorates the loss felt. But Steve Jobs will be missed and we all hope that he will continue to live and he will continue to work even if at diminished capacity due to health. “Live Long And Prosper cyber dude.”

Who will mourn if Boob Obama Quits? Not former Hopium guzzler and Hopium distribution franchise Mort Zuckerman. Zuckerman (Suckerman 2008!) writes in today’s Wall Street Journal:

“Obama and the ‘Competency Crisis’

Like many Americans who supported him, I long for a triple-A president to run a triple-A country.

The rising impatience with the leadership of President Obama was epitomized on Aug. 8 in the middle of one of the now-habitual Wall Street roller coasters. His speech on the economy was 53 minutes late. What showed on TV screens was an empty White House podium, an image suggestive of the absence of leadership. When the president did speak, the best he could come up with was “We’ve always been and always will be a triple-A country.” The market’s response was a Bronx cheer, a drop of another 300 points.

Mr. Obama seems unable to get a firm grip on the toughest issue facing his presidency and the country—the economy. He now asserts he is going to “pivot” to jobs. Now we pivot to jobs? When there are already 25 million Americans who are either unemployed or cannot find full-time work? Does this president not appreciate what is going on?

Fewer Americans are working full-time today than when Mr. Obama took office. We have lost over 900,000 full-time jobs in the last four months alone, and long-term unemployment is at a post-World War II high. The public’s faith in his ability to deal with the economy has plunged. As Doyle McManus of the L.A. Times put it, “Can this president persuade voters to let him keep his job when so many have lost theirs?” Even Jimmy Carter didn’t plumb the depths of national dissatisfaction revealed in the stunning Gallup poll taken Aug. 11-13. The president’s approval rating was only 39% with a mere 26% approving of his handling of the economy.

Meanwhile, everyone in the business world is pleading for some kind of adult supervision to build a national platform for sustained growth that includes a long-term fiscal plan that addresses our ballooning debt. They are desperate for strong leadership and feel that all we are getting out of Washington is a lot of noise as Democrats and Republicans blame one another.”

What happened to Suckerman? Why is Zuckerman now a racist? Mort Zuckerman is a racist because as we learned in 2007 and 2008 anyone who opposes the golden calf is a racist. So Mort Zuckerman is a racist.

Racist Mort Zuckerman continues:

“Since the president is the one who represents all of America and all Americans, the buck stops with him rather than with the Congress. It is the president’s job to offer a coherent program for the twin threats of a static economy and an unsustainable explosion of our debts and deficits. [snip]

It is no surprise that many have begun to doubt the president’s leadership qualities. J.P. Morgan calls it the “competency crisis.” The president is not seen fighting for his own concrete goals, nor finding the right allies, especially leaders of business big or small. Instead, his latent hostility to the business community has provoked a mutual response of disrespect. This is lamentable given the unique role that small business especially plays in creating jobs.”

That’s Mort Zuckerman’s polite way of saying what we have been saying: Obama is a boob. Zuckerman then borrows some of our articles from 2007 in which we noted that Obama goes into “blame the staff” or just plain “blame everyone else” mode when it is clear Barack Obama himself is the source and fountain of the corruptions, treacheries, and booberies we have witnessed for years. Here’s how Mort recycles with polite perfumes our own blunt charges:

“The president appears to consider himself immune from error and asserts the fault always lies elsewhere—be it in the opposition in Congress or the Japanese tsunami or in the failure of his audience to fully understand the wisdom and benefits of his proposals. But in politics, the failure of communication is invariably the fault of the communicator.

Many voters who supported him are no longer elated by the historic novelty of his candidacy and presidency. They hoped for a president who would be effective. Remember “Yes We Can”? Now many of his sharpest critics are his former supporters.”

Not while we’re around. Although we are sweet and demure we will continue to provide the sharpest critiques. But some of the boobs who supported the boob are indeed commencing to speak up about the boobery they witness:

“Witness Bill Broyles, a one-time admirer who recently wrote in Newsweek that “Americans aren’t inspired by well-meaning weakness.” The president who first inspired with great speeches on red and blue America now seems to lack the ability to communicate any sense of resolve for a program, or any realization of the urgency of what might befall us. The teleprompter he almost always uses symbolizes and compounds his emotional distance from his audience.

We lack a coherent and muscular economic strategy, as Mr. Obama and his staff seem almost completely focused on his re-election. He should be spending most of his time on the nitty-gritty of the job instead of on fund raisers, bus tours and visits to diners, which essentially are in service of his political interests. Increasingly his solutions seem to boil down to Vote for Me.”

You bought him, you own him Mort. You were a Sucker-man in 2008. It’s up to you to clean up the mess you made you racist you.

Zuckerman is a racist for daring to criticize Barack Obama. In many Obama Hopium dens Mort Zuckerman will also be denounced for being a plutocrat and therefore not worthy of attention. But maybe the Hopium dealers and consumers will be able to explain the strange case of soon to be racist Trumpka.

It seems Trumpka, the head of the AFL-CIO, is taking some of our advice. In our first article (and subsequent ones) regarding the collective bargaining law in Wisconsin we exhorted Big Labor to extract itself from the clutches of Obama’s Dimocratic Party. Now Big Labor might be doing just that:

“The media likes to push the notion that the Republican Party will split in two because of the Tea Party, but they may have missed a real split on the other side of the aisle.  AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka announced the creation of a union super-PAC that will “build our own structure” rather than “build structures for others.”  And by “others,” Trumka means the Democratic Party:

The growing rift between labor and their Democratic allies was on full display Thursday, as AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka told reporters that labor groups are planning to scale back their involvement with the Democratic Party in advance of the 2012 elections.

Going forward, Trumka said, the labor movement will build up its own political structures and organizations rather than contribute to and depend on the Democratic Party’s political operation. …

Labor has traditionally been a major contributor to Democratic candidates and causes around the country. Trumka said that their outside effort will help keep union-backed candidates more accountable for promises made on the campaign trail.

“Let’s assume we spent $100 in the last election,” he said, explaining the union’s position.

“The day after Election Day, we were no stronger than we were the day before,” said Trumka. “If we had spent that [$100] on creating a structure for working people that would be there year round, then we are stronger.”

That’s not just an expression of disapproval with the Democratic Party.  It’s a public vote of no confidence.  Unions spent heavily in the 2010 midterm elections; they accounted for three of the top five high-spending outside groups in that cycle.  They also spent tens of millions of dollars in Wisconsin this year in an attempt to wrest control of the state Senate away from Republicans, and failed to achieve their objective.  Trumka’s comments make it clear that he doesn’t see a great prospect of electoral success in 2012, either.”

The author of the recent “What If Obama Quits” article discusses the potential meaning of racist Trumpka’s threats:

“This puts the AFL-CIO into a position where the creation of a third party is not just a theoretical possibility, but perhaps a likely outcome.  The Tea Party doesn’t have deep pockets for organization, but the unions have a mostly-mandated grip on the pockets of their members, thanks to closed-shop rules in many areas of the country.  They can generate hundreds of millions of dollars for elections and candidate recruitment, especially in areas of high union concentration.  Unions might not be strong enough to run their own presidential candidate, but they could win House seats and perhaps a few Senate seats as well, or more likely just provide a competitive third choice for voters.  In fact, there’s really no other way to read Trumka’s statement but as a threat to compete with the Democratic Party on their own terms.

And that’s where the Democratic Party will suffer most.  If unions start running well-funded alternative candidates, the vote will split and allow Republicans to make gains in Congress and in state legislatures.  Either Democrats will have to start endorsing union candidates or start falling hopelessly behind the GOP in power and influence.

Even if this turns into just a one-cycle phenomenon, it couldn’t come at a worse time for Obama.  In order to win a general election, Obama needs to run to his right — and in order to keep the union funding he desperately needs, he will have to move to his left.  Either way, Obama loses, as does his party.”

What was Obama doing during the Suckerman blast and the Trumpka threats? Well, what do you think? What do you think Obama is doing? Barack Obama has hit the golf trifecta and the boobery superfecta. The man is a total boob:

“It took President Obama nearly a week, but he’s played the trifecta: golf courses in the three main Martha’s Vineyard hubs of Edgartown, Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven.

With an earthquake down, a hurricane to come and a revolution in full revolt across the Atlantic, Obama nevertheless did what he likes to do best Wednesday. He golfed.

This time it was at the nine-hole Mink Meadows Golf Club, a day after he played the 18-hole Farm Neck Golf Club. On his first and third days of vacation, he favored the Vineyard Golf Club.

There’s been no word on how the president is playing amid natural disasters and international crises. He was viewed two-putting — or was it three-putting? — on the first green Tuesday, then the curtains closed on media coverage.”

With all the golfing he spends hours and hours and days on one would expect a certain level of proficiency at this point. After years in the White House Obama does not have a level of proficiency in anything but his already strong skills of treachery and boobery.

A former PGA golf champion, Paul Azinger, mocks the boob in chief today by stating that Obama “played more golf this month than I have. I have created more jobs this month than he has.”

Barack Obama must be forced into permanent golfing. Will anyone of consequence miss the Boob when he finally is forced out? No. No. No.

We Love Earthquakes

When the tremors hit the east coast many thought it was Michelle Obama out for a jog. But ol’ Scowly was resting in Martha’s Vineyard along with hubby. The hubby who rather be on the links rather than watching Michelle knock birds out of trees just by looking up.

As the Washington Monument imitates that old tower in Pisa and the White House and Congress literally shake, ancient Mayan priests are smiling like La Gioconda.

No need to join Mayan death cults or see vindication in the ancient predictions that the world (or at least a cycle of existence) ends late next year. No, good ol’ Shakespeare (via Jacobean political philosophy) frequently noted that natural events are heralds to the political world. We’ll stick with good ol’ Bill (S and C) and say “We Love Earthquakes”, political earthquakes. We’ll also wait and see if the Obama earthquake is followed by an Obama hurricane.

The Gallup poll reports Earthquake!!!!! as Obama approval golfs to 38%. Rasmussen reports Earthquake!!!!! as Obama index numbers rattles your windows and sinks like a stone.

Earthquake!!!!! Romney in the Gallup beats Obama, Perry after such a short time already ties Obama and “unelectable” Bachmann and “unelectable” Ron Paul are just a few points behind the resident of Martha’s Vineyard.

It’s almost as if Barack Obama was actually at work at the White House and the roof caved in on his grey head. The golden calf can at least say he has something in common with tween star Katy Perry (no relation to that other Perry) who had the roof fall in on her too. Tween star Katy Perry however had the roof fall in on her because she was a good sport and agreed with a fan that “pray for Israel” was a good idea.

Good thing Katy Perry did not ask for prayers to be chanted for Glenn Beck who is in Israel helping to bring about the Apocalypse.

Earthquakes!!!!, Glenn Beck in Israel, Katy Perry in trouble, Romney on top, housing going downObama golfs. Obama bikes. Obama sucks.

Watch out fella. “You have no power here. Be gone – before somebody drops a house on you too.”

Run Quaddafi Run – Quit Obama Quit – How To Run Obama Out Of Town

Strap your Pink Grenades On!

It was the most important story of the day and we hoped to discuss it and give it the attention it deserves. Today thanks to Republican/conservative website HotAir, the time is ripe for such a discussion.

In April of 2010, PUMA P.A.C. discussed the Big Pink strategy for the 2012 elections.
Our strategy, as stated then, is simple, elegant, effective:

“While we don’t think Hillary Clinton will directly challenge Obama for the nomination in 2012, we do think it is the job of sensible Democrats and smart Hillary supporting websites to drive Obama from the 2012 race. It is also the job for American citizens who care about the country.”

In our inaugural article of 2011 we restated the strategy:

“In 2012 things will be a lot better – after November – if we do our jobs right. Let’s get the job done in 2011 and drive Obama out to a life of retirement at the Rezko house. That’s enough Hope and Change for now, isn’t it?”

Those quotes written here are but an echo of our earlier declarations in which we clearly stated that Obama must go and then Hillary Clinton has to make a decision. This is from November 2009 (which itself is an echo of earlier dump Obama articles we wrote starting in November 2008 – see the strategy began that early) and it references an important article by Robert Shrum:

“With all the under-the-bus, “Obama’s War”, Democratic Party falling apart paragraphs, there is only one sentence that contorts Obama’s face and plunges Michelle Obama into a paroxysm of sleeve yanking. There is one sentence which drenches Obama in a Fever Nightmare. The sentence, which when tied to the Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin someday summit, is this one:

Inconceivable as it now seems, the President could also face a challenge for renomination from within a fractured Democratic Party.

Shrumie ends his job-hunting, Obama distancing article by noting:

By the Ides of December, the die will be cast.

While we don’t think Hillary Clinton will directly challenge Obama for the nomination in 2012, we do think it is the job of sensible Democrats and smart Hillary supporting websites to drive Obama from the 2012 race. It is also the job for American citizens who care about the country.

Did we mention that “two-thirds of the public thinks that Secretary of State HIllary Clinton’s qualified for the Oval Office. That’s more than Vice President Joe Biden, who’s currently next in line for the presidency.”? [snip]

Who else but Hillary?

We’ll echo Shrumie echoing us: Alea iacta est .

Which brings us to the well reasoned HotAir article that asks the lovely question “What If Obama Quit?“:

“I’m not talking about resignation, or just refusing to offer any proposals until after the next election. What if Obama simply decided not to run for a second term as President?

The thought occurred to me after reading Peggy Noonan’s piece this week for the Wall Street Journal, which argues that Obama has already quit in a practical sense:

Could or would narcissist Obama quit, as we have been writing for so long?:

“Some will scoff at the notion that Obama and his large ego would walk away from the office, but LBJ was also rumored to think pretty highly of himself. It’s a low-probability outcome, but it isn’t a zero probability outcome. Obama’s ratings have tanked this year along with the economy, and he hasn’t come up with an original thought on economic policy since Porkulus. The leaks of his rumored plan sound a lot like Porkulus II, a sequel to a flop. This gives the impression that Obama has run out of ideas, and as Noonan argues in her piece, his attacks on Republicans for their supposed refusal to pass a plan he has yet to even submit to them sounds like a man who realizes that he’s out of ideas, too.

But the decision may end up being out of his hands if the political environment doesn’t improve. Obama’s numbers are plummeting in places Democrats can hardly afford to lose. In Pennsylvania, where Obama will top a ticket that also includes Bob Casey’s bid for a second Senate term, he’s either at 43% approval (Quinnipiac) or at 35% (Muhlenberg). Wisconsin turned Republican last year and a series of elections this year confirmed it, and Herb Kohl’s seat in the Senate is up for grabs. Obama can be expected to drag down the ticket in Virginia (James Webb’s seat is open), Florida (Bill Nelson), Ohio (Sherrod Brown), Maryland (Ben Cardin), and Michigan (Debbie Stabenow). Obama is underwater in New York and New Jersey already, two normally staunch Democratic states, both with Senate races on the line as well. If Obama runs at the top of those tickets, he might eke out victories in the two states, but his presence on the ticket will depress Democratic turnout and might endanger Kirsten Gillibrand and Robert Menendez; Democrats would almost certainly have to spend a ton of money to bolster them that they’d normally spend elsewhere.

Democrats will be looking at a massacre in the Senate, and that’s not even including already-endangered seats in Nebraska, Missouri, Montana, and New Mexico, which just elected its first Republican woman governor last year. Democrats could wind up losing enough seats to give Republicans a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate if Obama chases away the white working-class vote that he’s been alienating for the past two years on ObamaCare and now his disastrous economic performance. If unemployment starts rising and growth remains low in the next few months, Democrats may insist on Obama finding a graceful exit before the primaries.”

HotAir’s Ed Morrissey sensibly answers his own question as we have: Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton:

“And guess who that leaves with an open path to the Democratic nomination? Hillary Clinton. She can step into the void with promises to return America to the economic policies of her husband. The Left may not have much love for Hillary any longer, but she was winning the very working-class Democrats in the 2008 primaries that Obama is losing to the Republicans now. States like Pennsylvania and Michigan would snap back into place for Democrats, and perhaps Wisconsin as well. Having Obama off the top of the ticket would take some of the downward pressure off of some other Senate races, and Hillary would likely be a plus in most.

If Hillary took Obama’s place in 2012, Republicans would face a much tougher electoral map. They would still have the advantage of running against Obama’s record, but the GOP may not capture that disaffected Democratic working-class vote if Hillary also ran against Obamanomics and promised a return to Clintonian prosperity. The eventual Republican nominee would have at least a tougher task in winning those votes and the White House. And even if Hillary lost in a general election — Democrats lost the White House in 1952 and 1968, coincidentally both times with Richard Nixon on the Republican tickets — the Democrats might save a few Senate seats with an improved turnout in key states.”

In our most recent update to the “drive Obama out” strategy we mused on how the treacherous boob narcissist will have to be forced out:

What will it take to rid ourselves of this corrupt flim-flam man? Will his sleeveless wife, faithful as Chewbacca to her worthless Solo, be the one that has to tell him “Barack, remember, even I think you are “stinky”. Now the country’s nostrils have had a full whiff of you and they want you gone.”

In fact we doubt Michelle is as faithful as Chewbacca although she does share many other primary fashion characteristics as Hans Solo’s hairy friend. There’s always been a lot of stress in that marriage as garbage scow Maureen Dowd intimates today and we have discussed previously. No, Chewbacca, er, Michelle will not be the vehicle to drive narcissist Obama out.

Which now brings us finally to the point of this article and that important story we referenced in our second paragraph. Here is the important news story:

“Senate Democrats are increasingly concerned that President Barack Obama’s campaign money machine is sucking up so much cash that it will cut into the party’s aggressive campaign to hold on to the Senate next year, several Democratic sources say.

Democratic senators have already pressed Obama campaign officials — including campaign manager Jim Messina — not to lock up the richest Democratic donors, but the presidential campaign declined to make such a promise.[snip]

Messina would not agree to the request not to max out big donors, and no decision was made on the amount of financial backing that Senate Democrats will get from the DNC and the Obama-Biden campaign.”

Not to get to far into the weeds of campaign finance, nor to make too many Godfather references, but the way campaigns are usually financed is not the way 2012 is working out. Ordinarily in a presidential election cycle the president’s re-elect committee draws water from the (donor) well and makes room for the Senate and House campaign committees to wet their beaks.

But the beaks are not going to get wet because the Obama campaign is grabbing all the cash from the donor well. Why is this? The answer is very important to the question of driving Obama out.

Before answering “Why is this?” let’s read more from that very important article (and kudos to Politico which we usually criticize for publishing it):

“We have a huge number of incumbents who are up this cycle and a lot of them have taken tough votes to enact significant portions of this president’s agenda, and I think that there is a sense that there should be an all-hands-on-deck approach to keep the Senate in Democratic hands,” said one Democratic official familiar with the meeting. [snip]

As the 2012 campaign gets started in earnest, there is increased competition for donors across the board as Democrats in the House and Senate scramble to raise money while the Obama-Biden team is vacuuming up money from wealthy Democrats who may soon max out their contributions.

Adding more competition in the race for cash, Democratic operatives have formed a number of new third-party groups, known as super PACs, each of which have sometimes competing goals of electing more House Democrats, Senate Democrats or Obama himself. These operatives are often competing for the same list of wealthy donors.

All this comes at a time of growing concern among Democrats that Obama’s decreasing popularity may limit the amount donors are willing to give to Democratic campaigns.

The lede in the article is buried but our shovel ready project is on the job and here is the big point:

“One major point of contention among Democratic fundraisers centers on the “Presidential Partners” program. Under that program, donors who pledge $75,800 to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee operated by the DNC and Obama for America, can attend private briefings, sometimes with Obama himself. As part of this effort, donors give $5,000 to Obama’s reelection campaign, along with $61,600 to the DNC and $9,200 to a new fundraising entity that will spend money on down-ballot races in the states.

“That has ruffled some feathers,” said a senior Democratic officials, referring to the push for big donors.

Democratic senators are deeply concerned that continuing with this program will max out top Democratic donors for the rest of the 2012 election cycle — and they privately want the Obama team to abandon the initiative altogether. At the very least, the Democratic senators want donors to give the $9,200 to the DSCC, rather than the new statewide entity, the sources say.

Obama’s reelection campaign and the DNC raised more than $86 million by June 30, with a large chunk of that coming from donors giving the maximum contribution. Obama may raise upwards of $1 billion for his reelection, smashing all existing fundraising records, though administration officials insist that’s not their goal. Much of the money in the last quarter came from 619 deep-pocketed donors who maxed out their donations and contributed a total of $22.1 million. There were more than 550,000 small-dollar donors who shelled out less than $70 each on average.”

We’ll explain (promise) all this shortly and tie it all up, but just a little bit more from the article:

“At the same time, Senate Democrats have to defend 23 seats in 2012, versus only 10 for Senate Republicans, with some of these fights taking place in high-dollar TV markets like Connecticut, Florida and New Jersey.

While they complain about the cash drain from the presidential campaign, some Senate Democrats may see an upside — many of Obama’s key swing states overlap with the most vulnerable Senate Democratic seats, including Ohio, Florida, Nevada, Virginia and New Mexico, so plenty of money will flow to those states.

But there are other states where Obama’s campaign may not spend much money yet feature tough Senate races, like in Missouri and Montana, putting incumbents like Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) and Jon Tester (D-Mont.) in a tough spot.”

As promised this is what it all means: Barack Obama and his thugs know Obama is in trouble for reelection. Obama and his thugs also know that Barack Obama is Poison and many incumbents want to run as far away from him as possible during their elections. Barack Obama and his thugs know that in order to prevent incumbents running away from him or calling for him to quit or asking “Hillary, come save us from the Treacherous Boob” steps must be taken.

The steps they have taken is to hoard all the donor cash and demand fealty from those running for office or else – NO CASH.

We saw the results of the Obama ‘starve them of cash unless they do our bidding’ thuggery in Ohio in 2010. Ted Strickland, a former congressman from a white working class heavy district in southeastern Ohio was elected governor in the earlier gubernatorial election cycle precisely because he was not from the northeastern liberal areas of Ohio.

But in 201012, in order to get Obama Dimocrat OAF dollars Strickland was forced to tie himself to Obama with disastrous effect. Every piece of literature for Strickland was emblazoned with the hated Obama logo. Appearances with Obama in heavily black Cleveland did not help with Strickland’s former congressional constituents in Zanesville.

In order for Strickland and every other Dimocrat to get money from national Obama Dimocrats and committees, they had to swear allegiance to Obama and campaign with him and his hated logo. It was a disaster and every statewide Obama Dimocrat was kicked out on his/her sorry Obama ass.

So where does this leave us?

Barack Obama and his thugs will do everything in their power to keep incumbents from breaking down the door and fleeing in fright. But, as Maxine Waters demonstrates, the barn doors are getting kicked already.

We’ve surmised that in September Hillary will face a moment of decision. But to borrow from Robert Shrum who wrote back in 2009 about December 2009, Barack Obama’s moment of decision will come in December.

It is then, that incumbents, Obama sycophants, certain sleeveless ones and others will be forced to go to the narcissist in chief and tell him: GET OUT!

Barack Obama must get out and be forced out. As Hillary’s Libya policy (as we wrote) bears fruit today and tomorrow (read the excellent “before Obama takes credit” Hillary coverage at The Confluence and Uppity’s site as well) all Americans must remember who went to Rio and Martha’s Vineyard and who has been leading at great cost to herself (again read Josh Hersh via the Confluence).

Quaddafi’s days or hours are numbered and the rumors are he has fled Libya for Algeria. Tripoli will soon be a Quaddafi free zone.

Obama’s days are numbered too. Washington, D.C. will soon be an Obama free zone. We have to keep to the strategy and make it happen.

Smart Sister Sarah Palin And The Fierce Urgency Of Martha’s Vineyard

Lanky Barack Obama in a powdered white wig, dressed in a full gold and yellow lace brocade ballroom gown, a creme lace feathered fan wanly hanging from his boney arm, heads to the French marble-top desk, sighs, picks up a quill and begins to scratch on parchment and compose his manifesto to be delivered in September from Versailles.

Henry Louis Gates, in white shorts slightly stained from his long bicycle ride through the Vineyard lanes, is perched like a parakeet watching the great one at his great labors. Ever the literary savant, Gates squints out through the lattice windows at the neighboring castles and suggests the immortal line “Let them eat cake.” Madame Déficit licks his lips and feigns fatigue.

What kind of plan would emerge from the hard lands of Appalachia or the burdened fields of workday America we will never know. The fire this time, the fierce urgency of now, is and always has been Martha’s Vineyard.

* * * * * *

Sister Sarah Palin discussed the lush salt air paradise last night with Greta Van Susteren:

“GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: This is a “Fox News Alert.” The stock market takes a bath. It has been a week of gyrations, up, down, up, down, and now down. Today it nosedives, the Dow down 419, the NASDAQ down 131, and the S&P 500 down 53. It was a very bad day for Wall Street and a terrible sign for our economy.

So where is President Obama at an important time like this? He’s officially on vacation in Massachusetts on Martha’s Vineyard for 10 days.

Joining us is former governor Sarah Palin. Good evening, Governor. I guess the truth is, is that whether the president’s at the White House tonight or Martha’s Vineyard, the stock market still went down today. We still have jobless claims over 400,000. So where he is doesn’t matter. But does it send a sign to the American people? Does it matter sort of symbolically where he is?

SARAH PALIN, FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR/FORMER ALASKA GOVERNOR: It does matter where he is tonight, Greta, and I don’t know why our president bothers even making promises at this point or spewing those platitudes. One in particular, he said he promised to not rest until every American who wanted a job got that job. And yet there he goes, jetting off to tickle his toes in the sand of Martha’s Vineyard and probably burying his head in the proverbial sand, ignoring the fact that 14 million Americans cannot find a job, that 40-plus million Americans are relying on food stamps to make ends meet.

You know, economies are crashing. Markets are crashing. There’s a lot of turmoil right now. And he just seems so extremely absent from the reality that the rest of us are facing in this country today. And that’s illustrated by his desire and now his action to go on vacation again, this time for 10 days in a pretty elite high mucka-mucka area where the rest of us are kind of shaking our heads saying, Really? At this time? Perception being reality in politics, why in the world would he do this?”

We answered Sister Sarah’s question long ago: Obama does not care that you know he knows that you know he does not care.

The discussion turned to the events in Syria. We’ve written about Syria, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and certain connections Obama has with Syrians. [We’ll write about this again very soon and explain once again how to listen to Hillary Clinton who is occasionally forced to spew words written by Boob Obama.] Sister Sarah talked about Hillary Clinton and the mess that is Barack Obama:

“VAN SUSTEREN: You know, going back to President Obama, I tell you something that surprised me today. I was watching the announcement by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about the United States’ position, as the chief diplomat, on the president of Syria that he — you know, that he must go, that he’s got to leave.

And as I was looking at the screen, I thought, you know, this very important thing, you know, the president — and let me be very sarcastic. He’s busy packing for his vacation. He hasn’t given the jobs plan. Meanwhile, it’s almost like he outsourced this. And she looked much more presidential, and you know, sitting there up on the screen, announcing the policy of the United States. And I thought to myself, you know, Is he just tired? Has he sort of given up? Or — or — I mean, like, you know, suddenly, she looked like the president.

PALIN: Well, he’s got his priorities skewed, really, Greta. And I take it literal that he was getting ready for, packing for vacation while here it was Secretary Clinton asking on behalf of the United States of America for another president of another country to step down. That is our president’s role!

No, this is another example of President Obama leading from behind. Makes you scratch your head and wonder what really does he do? What does he desire to do in that position of leader of the free world and so much influence that he has, and in a case like this, he’s stepping back and allowing Hillary Clinton to basically carry the water for our entire nation. Very strange goings on there with our foreign policy decisions and announcements like that.

And I’ll bet you, Greta, going out on a limb because I — you know, obviously, I can’t speak for liberal Democrats. But I just think that after a day like this, where you saw that kind of presidential aura of Hillary Clinton as she made that announcement today, while Barack Obama was packing to head out for 10 days on vacation again to go golf and tickle his feet in the sand — I’ll bet you people, if they had to do it over again, who had that choice at that time in the Democrat primary between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama — I bet you today, they are saying, We should have gone with Hillary Clinton.

Soon Sister Sarah will be PUMA!

Greta Van Susteren then committed the usual mistake of saying that Obama ran a great campaign in 2007/2008. That is just not the case. Recall how immediately after the bungled inauguration many wondered where the “brilliant” communications operation for Barack Obama disappeared to? Well, it didn’t disappear. It never existed. Sister Sarah discussed last night the obvious fact that Obama was protected by Big Media:

“VAN SUSTEREN: You know, it’s just — it’s amazing to me, though. As I think to myself, like, why — has he — has he almost sort of given up that he would sort of outsource that? I mean, you know, where’s the fighting spirit for him? I just don’t get this because, you know, he was – – he was so — such a strong — strong on the campaign trail and he inspired so many Americans. I was hoping that he would inspire, you know, people who had never, ever been involved in politics. He got them out to vote. And now, you know, it’s almost as though he’s lost his steam. He seems to have lost the interest, or at least right now in this month, he has.

PALIN: Well, the difference between him now and back there three years ago on the campaign trail is he was getting away with everything on the campaign trail, and it was driving me crazy as a team member of the John McCain presidential team, as we were campaigning for office, watching what the press was letting candidate Barack Obama get away with, with his proclamation that he’d be transforming America, and yet nobody asking him, What in the world do you mean you want to transform the greatest, most prosperous, safest, healthiest nation in the world? What do you mean, transform it? Do you mean restore all that is good and strong about America, or truly, you want to fundamentally transform it?

That’s just one example of candidate Obama spewing that kind of rhetoric and getting away with it. And now, three years later, we’re understanding what he meant by that fundamental transformation of America as we see more and more failed policies being implemented and we sit here scratching our heads, wondering what is next? We saw markets today reacting to volatility, reacting to a lack of plan, which leads to lack of confidence in the marketplaces. And we wonder how much worse is this going to get before 2012? I tell you, 2012 can’t come soon enough!

For those of us who in 2007 asked “change, to what?” Sarah Palin’s words are familiar. It turned out we were right and it was CHANGE FROM BAD TO WORSE. OBAMA MADE IT WORSE.

Pat Buchanan also noted the odd location chosen for Obama to compose his next snake-oil speech coming in September in an article called The View From Martha’s Vineyard:

“As he and his daughters bicycle around the summer playground of the Northeastern elite, Martha’s Vineyard, President Obama is steadily bleeding away both the support of the nation and that of his most loyal constituency.[snip]

Unemployment remains at 9 percent, as it has for two years. The Dow has lately lost 2,000 points, or $3 trillion in wealth wiped out. All that money the Fed pumped out is now being reflected not only in the price of gold, silver and Swiss francs, but in rising consumer prices – inflation. One in five U.S. children is living in poverty.

Middle America, some time ago, decided the “hopey, changey thing” was not working out for them. Now the patience of African-Americans with a president for whom they voted 24 to one is wearing thin. [snip]

A collision between Obama and his base seems inevitable. For Black America’s situation, though tough today, seems certain to get tougher. Why?

First, black Americans held a significant share of the subprime mortgages that went sour when housing prices went south, and are thus overrepresented among those who lost homes.

Second, black Americans, with a higher rate of poverty, depend more on the entitlement and social programs that Obama cannot avoid hoisting onto the chopping block in any “balanced” plan for dealing with the deficit-debt crisis.

Third, African-Americans are overrepresented among the 22 million who work for local, state and federal governments. And while government workers came out best in terms of job security and salary hikes in the stimulus days of 2009 and 2010, in the austerity days of 2011, they are getting their fair share of pink slips. It is almost a truism: Whenever Middle America goes into recession, Black America flirts with depression.”

We warned long ago that it would be the young and African-Americans who would be hurt the most by the election of Barack Obama. We warned long ago that it would be gentry whites who would ideologically suffer the most. The chickens are coming home to roost for those most fervent Obama supporters because: If You Elect A Treacherous Boob, Expect Treacherous Boobery.

For those upset that we quote Pat Buchanan at World Net Daily, try this on for size:

Rep. Pete DeFazio (D-Ore.) slams president Obama in an interview with KGW in Portland.

From the KGW report:

Asked whether he thought the President had a shot at re-election, Defazio was skeptical.

“At this point it pretty much depends on how far out there the Republican nominee is. You know with a respectable–someone who is a little bit toward the middle of the road–Republican nominee, he’s going to have a very tough time getting re-elected,” said DeFazio.

He’s also not convinced the President will do well in Oregon.

I believe Oregon is very much in play. I mean we are one of the harder hit states in the union, particularly my part of the state. I’ve just done six town hall meetings, have seven to go but people are shaking their heads and saying ‘I don’t know if I’d vote for him again.‘” Defazio said.

Asked if he was surprised, the congressman shrugged.

“Not at all,” DeFazio said. “One guy asked me, ‘Give me 25 words what he’s about and what he’s done for me.’ I’m like, ‘It could have been worse.’”

Yes, that is old time Democrat from Oregon Pete DeFazio which indicates that recent New Jersey and New York poll numbers are not that odd after all. Oh, those Silicon Valley geniuses that thought Obama was Mess-iah and Hillary Clinton was not – they’re disillusioned too. Latinos? They think Obama stinks and support continues to drop.

No wonder the Republicans, hardly on high moral ground in any of this considering the Bush years, are mocking Obama with a new website which supplies free greeting cards.

For Barack Obama the “fierce urgency of now” that Martin Luther King spoke about is about self-advancement, vacations, golfing and to hell with the “bitter”. But as he slumbers in his ballgown outfits in the playgrounds of the rich he might well remember a lyric from a fun summer song from days gone by. In that musical frolic the ominous note for Barack Obama is “There is danger in that summer moon above.”

As Sister Sarah Palin (with a brand new campaign ad out) said, “2012 can’t come fast enough.”

Flim-Flam Man Without A Plan On The Lam – Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Paul Ryan, Sarah Palin – Come On Down

Imagine you have a bunch of life preservers in the trunk of your car. As you look out over the shore you see Americans about to drown. You run to the shore and shout “I have a bunch of life preservers in the trunk of my car. I’ll toss them to you – in September.”

Imagine that. Barack Obama says he has a miracle cure-all plan for the economy but he’ll release it in September in yet another nation abusing speech. Hey, leave Obama alone – he’s on vacation, vacation, vacation.

* * * * * *

JammieWearingFool had us laughing yesterday because we read some familiar words from here at Big Pink and some New York news:

“Indeed, spending any resources in states that haven’t gone Republican in a generation means Obama’s in deep trouble.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of behind-the-scenes meetings occur at Chez Clinton while Obama’s off golfing in Martha’s Vineyard. Democrats might want to use that time to figure out a way to usher this boob out the door gracefully unless they want to join him on the sinking ship.”

What is that JammieWearingFools referring to? The PUMA P.A.C. people (giving away (yup, free) Hillary 2012 bumper stickers) will love the news. Here is what the Jammie people are referring to and yup, you’re reading correctly, it’s New York State:

“President Obama’s job approval ratings are the worst they’ve ever been in the Empire State, but voters here are still sticking with him in 2012, according to a new Siena College poll released today.

The poll finds that just 36% of New Yorkers approve of Obama’s job performance — a 17-point plummet from the 53% rating he received in May. Meanwhile, 63% of voters give the president a negative job performance rating.

His job performance has not fallen, it has tanked,” said Siena pollster Steven Greenberg.

Even Democrats are evenly divided. For the first time since March, fewer than half of voters say they are prepared to re-elect the president.” [snip]

“If the Democratic National Committee has to spend money competing in New York for the presidential victory next year, they are in big trouble,” Greenberg said. “Because if they are competing in New York, which is a two-to-one Democratic state, that does not bode well for them nationally.”

As to why New York voters would vote for Obama even though they think he stinks? Don’t bet the condo on that. [On the other hand, the idiot left cannot be underestimated in their stupidity.] A lot of these racist (remember, anyone who opposes Obama is by definition now a racist) New Yorkers might simply stay home just as disgruntled Republicans stayed home in 2008.

Merlin’s beard!, we would not even be surprised if racist Maxine Waters (a sure racist as she chose Hillary over boob Obama in 2008 at a critical moment in the primaries) decides to stay home on election day 2012:

We don’t put pressure on the president,” said Waters to jeers as people interrupted at will and yelled at her. “Let me tell you why. We don‘t put pressure on the president because ya’ll love the president. You love the president. You’re very proud…to have a black man [in the White House] …First time in the history of the United States of America. If we go after the president too hard, you’re going after us.”

When you tell us it‘s alright and you unleash us and you tell us you’re ready for us to have this conversation, we’re ready to have the conversation. The Congressional Black Caucus loves the president too. We‘re supportive of the president but we’re getting tired ya’ll…we’re getting tired. And so, what we want to do is…we want to give the president every opportunity to show what he can do and what he’s prepared to lead on. We want to give him every opportunity…but our people are hurting. The unemployment is unconscionable. We don’t know what the strategy is. We don‘t know why on this trip that he’s in the United States now, he’s not in any black community…we don’t know that.”

The crowd shouts “it’s alright” to attack black-middle-and-working-class-destroying Barack Obama. Leave Obama alone you racists! After all, he’s doing the very best his inexperienced scrawny treacherous ass can do.

Oh, there’s trouble. Not only do New Yorkers think Obama stinks, the voters of New Jersey prefer Governor Ralph Kramden Chris Christie to Barack The Boob:

Quinnipiac finds Obama’s approval plunging neighboring — and nearly-as-blue — New Jersey. While Chris Christie’s numbers have rebounded a little, Obama’s have slid to a new low:

President Barack Obama is headed in the wrong direction as New Jersey voters disapprove 52 – 44 percent of the job he is doing, down from a 50 – 46 percent positive score June 21 and the president’s lowest score ever in the Garden State.

Again, the gender gap is huge as men disapprove 60 – 37 percent while women approve 51 – 44 percent. Turning thumbs down on Obama are Republicans 93 – 6 percent and independent voters 57 – 39 percent. Democrats approve 77 – 17 percent. …

New Jersey voters say 49 – 45 percent that Obama does not deserve to be reelected, but say 45 – 37 percent that they would vote for Obama over an unnamed Republican challenger in the 2012 presidential race.

One more year of boobery and high unemployment (and after September comes and goes without any plan from the boob) will convince more voters to stay home or vote ABO – Anybody But Obama. Liberal Portland, Oregon isn’t looking to fired up for the golden calf either.

Could too-liberal-for-Republicans Chris Christie (although conservatives such as Ann Coulter support him) win New York and New Jersey in a general election race and leave Obama counting bird droppings along the Potomac on election day 2012? Christie sure sounds like a candidate:

“New Jersey governor Chris Christie slammed President Obama at a recent press conference for not demonstrating competent leadership and not providing the American people what they want in a president. “You can’t lead from behind,” Christie said. “Leading is not a political strategy. It’s a moral strategy.”

Holy ham sandwich, the big guy is right. But Barack Obama has more important things to do:

“Imagine sitting around the Oval Office discussing presidential travel plans and someone says: “Hey, I’ve got a great idea. Let’s have the president travel to the Midwest for several days talking to people about jobs, their struggles with unemployment and basically how fouled-up everything is and then POTUS can leave for his vacation on a 28-acre compound in tony Martha’s Vineyard.

“Why Haversham, that’s a simply bully idea. Let’s do it.” [snip]

No one begrudges any president time away from the stresses and demands of the job. But the juxtaposition and timing of spending a few days in the heartland of America on a listening tour of the jobless, followed up by a fancy-pants vacation in one of the most exclusively affluent enclaves in the nation is, to put it bluntly, a really boneheaded idea.

Not to be insensitive here, but what is Obama likely to hear on his stops in Cannon Falls, Minn., or Decorah, Iowa, or Peosta, Iowa, or Atkinson, Ill., that he hasn’t heard before? People are scared. They fear the loss of their jobs. They lose sleep every night worrying about being foreclosed. They see the homeless on the street and see themselves. They look into the future and don’t see very much — for them.

And they see a president dropping in for a photo-op conveying an image of caring, before heading off for 10 days on the shores of Martha’s Vineyard, where the struggling folks of Cannon Falls and Decorah and Peosta and Atkinson couldn’t afford a cup of coffee.”

Priorities, priorities... how long ago was it that we began an additional catechism of “Obama doesn’t care that you know he doesn’t care?” Well, he doesn’t care. And he doesn’t care that you know he knows that you know he doesn’t care:

“GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: I wanted to talk to you about the recent news about Pakistan and China. But first I want to ask you about your tweet. I can’t resist. A recent tweet from you, on your Twitter account, says, Barack Obama played golf yesterday, now he heads to a 10-day vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, nice work ethic.

DONALD TRUMP: Well, the fact is, he takes more vacations than any human being I’ve ever seen. They used to complain about George Bush, but I understand he’s already exceeded George Bush and we’re not even through the year. So he likes vacation.

VAN SUSTEREN: What does — I mean, obviously, that doesn’t sound a — send a good message if, indeed, the American people think that he likes a, quote, “vacation.”

TRUMP: Well, I mean, it sends a bad message. Here we have a country that really is going to hell in a handbasket. Let’s not kid ourselves. What’s happening to this country is horrible. All over the world, they’re talking about it. And we have a president that’s constantly — whether it’s Martha’s Vineyard or someplace else, constantly on vacation. I mean, all the time he’s on vacation! So I think it sends a very, very bad message. We have to work in this country to bring it back.”

Trump as usual is exactly right. Why doesn’t Barack Obama’s campaign pay for the Black Buses of Doom? Why does the American taxpayer pay for this flim-flam trip?

Are we racists for referencing the color of the Buses of Doom? Apparently now talking about “black clouds” is considered racist. The New York Times must be racist:

“Traveling in a black bus with dark tinted windows and flashing red and blue lights that looked like something out of a “Mad Max” movie, the president urged audiences in Minnesota and Iowa to tell their elected officials they would no longer tolerate the partisan gridlock on display in the recent debt-ceiling talks.”

G_ _ Da_ _ racists!

Speaking of the Big Black Bus In Deep Dark Ditchthey’re made in good ol’ Canada!

“President Obama is barnstorming the heartland to boost US jobs in a taxpayer-financed luxury bus the government had custom built — in Canada, The Post has learned.

The $1.1 million vehicle, one of two that Quebec-based Prevost sold the government, has been tricked out by the Secret Service with state-of-the-art security features and creature comforts.

It’s a VIP H3-45 model, the company’s top of the line, and is used by major traveling rock bands.

That’s the more luxurious model,” Christine Garant of Prevost told The Post. [snip]

It is the perfect coach for entertainers, sports stars, NASCAR drivers, executive travel, or anyone accustomed to the very best.”

With such a celebrity boob riding the Black Bus of Doom, no wonder there are so many more Republicans thinking about running for president.

Perry just got in, replacing Romney on the Obama hit list. As many enemies as Romney has, Rick Perry is now getting hit on all sides as well.

Every-time we mention Marco Rubio as the obvious VP pick we get emails or comments which question whether Marco Rubio is a natural born citizen. If anything this should be another reason to get Rubio on the ticket. With Rubio on the ticket Obama Dimocrats will want to bring up that natural born question but they won’t be able to because of all the um, questions, about Barack Obama’s status. It’s a win/win. And if Rubio is not constitutionally eligible, there is another: Susana Martinez.

As to Sista Sarah, we’ve long ago stated that Palin will run. A Sarah Palin Susana Martinez ticket could be a woman power ticket – that is if Marco Rubio (and by extension Barack Obama) is precluded from running.

Chris Christie and Marco Rubio on the ticket would probably finally grab New Jersey for Republicans on the presidential level. There are a lot of Cubans in Jersey.

Paul Ryan will announce his final decision/intentions in a week or two after everyone thought he was a definite “no go.” If he gets in we’re sure he will be fully vetted (unlike Barack Obama).

There’s a reason why so many Republicans from the top tier are thinking about splashing into the presidential waters. Increasingly the country knows Barack Obama is a boob and they just want someone smarter than a broken clock to vote for.

The JammieWearingFools are right to wonder what goes on at Maison Clinton. Bill and Hillary can see the Big Black Bus is stuck in a ditch and sinking in deeper and deeper along with poll numbers.

More Shamelessness From The Obama Left – The 39% Bus Tour Dictator Solution

We read it at the end of last week and we ran for cover. We thought nuclear warfare would explode on the internets. Instead there was silence.

Such is the desperation on the Obama Left that no indecency, no corruption on behalf of the golden calf is unexplored. Michael Tomasky debased himself (again) last week in service to Barack Obama. Read it and weep for the corruption that is the Obama Left:

“If Obama wants to show he’s grown a backbone, he should force Congress into recess and make appointments that Republicans have been blocking, says Michael Tomasky.”

That’s right – in order for Obama to prove he is a man he should get rid of Congress so he can make recess appointments. How low can these Obama hacks go? These are the very same “liberals” who used to protest against the “imperial presidency”. These are the “liberals” and “progressives” who attacked Hillary for insufficiently attacking the “unitary executive”. These are the very same fake “liberals” and “Progressives In Name Only” who denounced George W. Bush for his exercise of presidential power. Here’s Tomasky now, calling for a seeming dictatorship in everything but name:

“I’ve been wondering lately the same thing as a lot of liberals in Washington: when and how will the president ever grow some backbone? Sure, the post-debt-deal polls show that he came out of the mess looking somewhat less terrible than the Republicans. But he looks weak, and he’ll keep getting pushed around until he throws down on something. I’m planning an occasional series about what that something could be, and here’s idea No. 1: force the Congress into recess and make a slew of appointments.”

Tomasky asserts the president, under Article II Section 3 of the Constitution, has the power to adjourn the Congress and Obama should do so. Then under the recess appointment power granted the president in an earlier age when communications and travel made such a power a necessity, Tomasky urges Obama force feed federal appointments in order to make himself appear tough.

Imagine if George W. Bush or Bill Clinton or Ronald Reagan or Richard Nixon, or Lyndon Johnson, had ever exercised such an abuse of power. Further, imagine if in future a Republican president decides to adopt Tomasky’s vile argument. Can you year the howls of “Dictator”?

Fake liberal Tomasky does not care that the consequence of his proposal may be used in circumstances and by people he does not worship. The consequences to American be damned.

PINO Tomasky’s concern is only for golden calf Barack Obama to exhibit his shriveled, raisin sized, testicles for all to admire as much as Tomasky apparently does. Tomasky loves them raisin-y Obama testicles:

“But imagine the Obama who invoked his constitutional power for a change, forced a congressional adjournment, and put Cordray—and a hundred other appointees doing the limbo—to work? Conservatives would howl that he was behaving like a dictator. But liberals would be enraptured, and I feel certain that most independents would be impressed that the guy finally drew a line in the sand over something. An Obama who did that would light this town up, and he’d be making a stand that would serve not only him well but also future occupants of his office of both parties (which is how he could package it in keeping with his post-partisan daydreams).”

Tomasky is absolutely idiotic in thinking that “liberals would be enraptured” – not any liberals that we know. Tomasky is absolutely delusional in thinking that “independents would be impressed.”

Tomasky is exactly right in saying that if Obama did adjourn Congress in order to bypass Congress and make recess appointments it would “light this town up.” But not in the way Tomasky audaciously dreams. Tomasky should read up on King Charles I’s order for Parliament to adjourn and how Cromwell and that Parliament reacted.

Shameless Tomasky in his rapturous love for Barack Obama will, like the rest of the Obama Left, do and say anything for the greater glory of their golden calf. Here is Tomasky the day after election day 2008 in full rapture and writing silly things about the past campaign, past history, and the future with Barack:

“In the meantime, here are a few matters on which I feel pretty confident. He will obey the US constitution. He’ll reject the Bush-Cheney theory of the “unitary executive” and will relinquish some of the executive power they amassed on matters such as domestic surveillance.”

Tomasky has traveled from opposition to the “unitary executive” to placing a crown on the ol’ grey head. Disgusting.

It’s easy to understand why the Obama Left is so desperate. After all, this week finds Obama downgraded to 39% approval. An appeals court has declared the Obama health scam to be unconstitutional thereby setting up a resolution of the issue by the Supreme Court. And for many Americans Obama just isn’t working out because they have no jobs to work at.

Obama’s reaction to the disasters he has wrought and those he has made worse? Why, vacation of course, on the taxpayer dime. Time to head on up to lovely Martha’s Vineyard and cavort with the ghost of the Chappaquiddick Chauffeur.

But first things first. First, Obama will loot the taxpayer with an all expenses paid for by the taxpayer series of campaign stops in states Obama will eventually lose.

To make matters worse, all the plots and plans of the Obama thugs regarding who they thought they would be running against are falling apart. Hey, we told you so. None of those on the Iowa debate stage are going to be the nominee of the Republican party. There are still a few others, or at least one more candidate, outside the arena biding her time to get in.

And who knows, there might be more surprises in store in 2012, not 2016, when Obama finally realizes the American people get to drive the bus they paid for.

The American people will not, contra Tomasky, make Obama their dictator. That bus trip Obama is on will end with Obama himself under the bus.

Republican Debate Tonight – The Eventual Nominee Will Not Be There

There will be eight Republicans on the Iowa debate stage vying for the job of running against a certain corrupt Chicago Boob. Tonight’s 9:00 p.m. debate festivities will be grade B or C entertainment because we doubt the person who eventually gets the nomination will be present.

Willard Mitt Romney is the presumed Republican front runner. We suppose he could get the nomination. But we doubt it.

First of all, Willard is a Mormon. Nobody likes to talk about this but evangelical Christians do not think kindly of Mormons. There are many reasons for this, which we will not get into because we do not want to get involved in sectarian violence. But do remember that Ted Kennedy, the Chappaquiddick Chauffeur who engineered the coup that gifted Obama the nomination, used Romney’s Mormonism to destroy Romney years ago when Romney ran against Kennedy for the Senate seat from Massachusetts.

And if you think Barack Obama and his army of thugs do not know that history of Ted and Willard’s Excellent Adventure and will not use the same religious line of attack against Romney, well then you should get out of here and go back to your coloring book and videos of Barney.

Second, well let’s just quote from an earlier article we wrote about Romney (we also listed reasons why Gingrich is not getting the nomination either):

“Consider Willard Romney. Most Americans hate the Obama health scam. Willard, as a Republican nominee, would not be able to exploit this most potent issue. He just won’t. He just can’t: [snip]

Picture Romney with a hat and cane – he’s a song and dance man in a vaudeville hall. Yet no Republican/conservative is calling for the hook to get him off stage. The man would throw away a major issue/strategy/tactic but he is considered “serious.” Willard is seriously flawed. Willard also does not poll well with the white working class and that’s another missed opportunity as the white working class does not like Barack Obama at all.

So laughable was the Willard spectacle of authentically genuine foolery (“a sincere, intelligent, cogent, informed political disaster“), Ron Paul’s odd plea on behalf of Pakistan and the “not necessary” killing of Bin Laden was lost in the gales of laughter. Get the hook!”

Ron Paul, Newt, Pawlenty (great recent ad but its an ad for the general election not the primaries), Cain, Bachmann (doing very well thus far but as Yoda once said “there is another”), Huntsman (same religion problem as Willard and is not doing particularly well), Santorum – ain’t ta gonna happen.

The eventual Republican nominee is busy elsewhere. Sarah Palin is rolling her bus around the country and will make her moves in September. Meanwhile she is not eating her peas like a good little girl – she’s fighting back like a girl (hint: tough as nails). Rick Perry… lots of Rick Perry news today. Chris Christie is slimming down (hard to believe but as he joked during the New Jersey Governor’s election when taunted about his weight by Obama Dimocrats, “I’m a big fat winner”) and that only means he is seriously weighing his options.

And… are we the only ones who noticed that Marco Rubio has opened up a political action committee called “Reclaim America”?
