That would be a wonderful Christmas present by the federal government, if the “SHAFT” was impeached for using his Chicago style politics to move the healthcare bill. I wonder who would be the scapegoat? My guess Rahm?

Poor little “Shaft” unable to take his vacation, especially when he uses it to take payola to the heads of the Hawaiian birth registration folks.

I saw that article that their carbon credits are losing ground. I love that, I am sure they are all invested heavily in that.

Here is Tyler, Texas, they have a night when all those folks who have homes and nice warm beds actually band together and try to spend 24hrs being a homeless person. They have NO money/no car, just the clothes on their back and they do this when its terribly cold outside. It a fund raiser, but I think a good one.

I think the senate and congress need to do this, maybe they would see that their polices are doing this to people not only in this country but in many others.

H4T- We’ve been waiting and hoping for an over-reach from the Chicago style politics in Washington. At the 11th hr they delivered Nelson to us. If admin posts the Graham video above. (or access it yourself) It describes in detail the investigation Graham is calling for by the South Carolina AG’s office into charges of Nelson accepting bribes for his vote from the WH and Harry Reid.

This little quake is sending shockwaves through Obama’s WH. He was supposed to leave today for a vacay in Hawaii. It was announced early today his vacy has been tentatively postponed. You can only guess why.

confloyd, if the problem is that they don’t care what we the People think, because they are beholden to their bankster masters, then carrying signs and protesting does nothing. Hit the master, not the servant.

Pick a month to do a managed bank run as protest, and everyone start pulling money out. The banksters would crap their pants. Under a fractional reserve banking system, they DO NOT have enough cash on hand to handle that.

This govt needs to FEAR us again, same as they fear the banksters.

My recollection of the relevant events is as follows: first, Emanuel cut the unholy deal with big pharma et al. in quid pro quo style, to elicit their support for the deal, and their contributions for 2012 re election. (Note: this was a true Rezko Chicago quid pro quo arrangement). Second, sometime thereafter the White House began making contrary public statements which caused the chief negotiator for the pharmaceutical industry to make that secret deal public, which raises serious doubts about Obama by his left wing political base. Third, they let insurance company lobbyists and bitter political partisans write the legislation, with no input from the other party, and thus ended up with a piece of legislation which will not withstand public scrutiny. Fourth, they cut deals with certain senators which meet Blackstone’s definition of a bribe. Those bribes were paid for not with private frunds but with public monies from the coffers of the American people. In short both the quid and the quo in the quid pro quo were Chicago style politics. Fifth, by his machinations Emanuel has put Democratic senator in the unenviable position of voting against the bill and weakening the president–if you buy into his 1994 scenario that the failure of the health care effort precipitated the Gingrich revolution, OR putting their own stature and careers on the line to support a bill which pretends to be something it is not–health care reform, a bill that provides special benefits for minorities at the expense of white people rather than economic need, a bill that infringes upon the liberty and freedom of doctors, taxpayers and consumers of health care services. If I were a Democratic Congressman I would be livid about this. Why should I fall on my own sword when my constituents hate this bill, other senators got a better deal than I did, and I know for sure my opponent will make me twist in the wind over this improvident piece of legislation. Fundamentally, why should I take the heat and jeopardize my career for a president who is going down in the polls like a head shot goose, and has proven in the Virginia and New Jersey governor races that he has no coattails. Goddam Barack Obama and Rham Emanuel. Why should I pull their chestnuts out of the fire?
