Perhaps way off topic.... But here's twice Hillary has cited Goldilocks.

“It’s a little bit like the Goldilocks story. If they’re too weak, we don’t get changes. If they’re too strong, we get a backlash.

The first time was in the debates about a gas tax holiday. She said Obama opposed a holiday, McCain favored it, and she was Goldilocks becasue she wanted to give holiday and also pay for it.

A POST HERE THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CRITICIZING OBAMA??? WHAT'S BIG PINK COMING TO??

Sorry, a little off topic, but while perusing HuffPo for a) valid criticisms of obama b) further examples of PINO fawning and excuse-making... I came across funny man Jim Carrey's interesting article on

The Judgment on Vaccines Is In???

Recently, I was amazed to hear a commentary by CNN's Campbell Brown on the controversial vaccine issue. After a ruling by the 'special vaccine court' saying the Measles, Mumps, Rubella shot wasn't found to be responsible for the plaintiffs' autism, she and others in the media began making assertions that the judgment was in, and vaccines had been proven safe. No one would be more relieved than Jenny and I if that were true. But with all due respect to Ms. Brown, a ruling against causation in three cases out of more than 5000 hardly proves that other children won't be adversely affected by the MMR, let alone that all vaccines are safe. This is a huge leap of logic by anyone's standards. Not everyone gets cancer from smoking, but cigarettes do cause cancer. After 100 years and many rulings in favor of the tobacco companies, we finally figured that out.

The truth is that no one without a vested interest in the profitability of vaccines has studied all 36 of them in depth. There are more than 100 vaccines in development, and no tests for cumulative effect or vaccine interaction of all 36 vaccines in the current schedule have ever been done. If I'm mistaken, I challenge those who are making such grand pronouncements about vaccine safety to produce those studies.

If we are to believe that the ruling of the 'vaccine court' in these cases mean that all vaccines are safe, then we must also consider the rulings of that same court in the Hannah Polling and Bailey Banks cases, which ruled vaccines were the cause of autism and therefore assume that all vaccines are unsafe. Clearly both are irresponsible assumptions, and neither option is prudent.

In this growing crisis, we cannot afford to blindly trumpet the agenda of the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) or vaccine makers. Now more than ever, we must resist the urge to close this book before it's been written. The anecdotal evidence of millions of parents who've seen their totally normal kids regress into sickness and mental isolation after a trip to the pediatrician's office must be seriously considered. The legitimate concern they and many in the scientific community have that environmental toxins, including those found in vaccines, may be causing autism and other disorders (Aspergers, ADD, ADHD), cannot be dissuaded by a show of sympathy and a friendly invitation to look for the 'real' cause of autism anywhere but within the lucrative vaccine program.

With vaccines being the fastest growing division of the pharmaceutical industry, isn't it possible that profits may play a part in the decision-making? That the vaccine program is becoming more of a profit engine than a means of prevention? In a world left reeling from the catastrophic effects of greed, mismanagement and corporate insensitivity, is it so absurd for us to wonder why American children are being given twice as many vaccines on average, compared to the top 30 first world countries?

jbstonesfan,
'I am OK so far with what I have read about the so called “torture”. They killed 3k Americans, hit the Towrs, Pentagon and where going for the Capital, and we knew very little about them.'
I couldn't agree more. In fact, i'll take it one step further. I couldn't care less what's done to those Islamic-facist thugs and I get boiling mad at the inordinate amount of time and money spent debating their fates, with or without torture.
Perhaps I sound a bit harsh, i dunno. I do know I can never and will never give the benefit of the doubt to any POS who wants to impose Sharia Law. With regards to terrorists, I have an especially negative perspective having lived a couple of miles from the apartments of 4-6 of the WTC hi-jackers, including Mohammed Atta. I passed the partment of 2 of them every day on my way to work.
Living for a time in a region with the heaviest population of Muslims doesn't help, either.
And, about HRC, the more I see her behind the MF, the more I dislike it. Sorry but I honestly think she made the wrong decision and I fear she's being diminished the longer she sits in his shadow, Please don't crucify me for that. I still adore her. I just can't bear seeing her associated with him in any way. I recognize it is possible that my hatred for him is beginning to extend to everyone in his coterie, even HRC. :sad:

MR. "MOONSHOT" COVERS UP HIS INABILITY TO GET A SINGLE THING DONE WITH MULTIPLE "GRAND PLANS"

"He tried for the moon, but only got two inches off the ground. Might sad."

Here's another Yahoo "borrowing" from AP that will get added to AP's law suits:

Obama seeks a new era of energy exploration in US
=====================================

By PHILIP ELLIOTT and MIKE GLOVER, Associated Press Writers Philip Elliott And Mike Glover, Associated Press Writers – 13 mins ago
NEWTON, Iowa – Marking Earth Day with a pitch for his energy plan, President Barack Obama on Wednesday called for a "new era of energy exploration in America" and argued that his proposal would help the economy and the environment at once.

"The choice we face is not between saving our environment and saving our economy — it's a choice between prosperity and decline," Obama said in his first post-election trip to Iowa, the state that launched him toward the White House. "The nation that leads the world in creating new sources of clean energy will be the nation that leads the 21st century global economy."

But Obama's promise of preserving natural resources and jump-starting the economy ran smack into the reality of this economically struggling town about 30 miles east of Des Moines. The wind energy plant where he spoke, and received a tour beforehand, is a shadow of what it replaced — a Maytag Corp. appliances plant that built washers, dryers and refrigerators.

It employed some 4,000 in a town of 16,000 residents in jobs that paid about $30,000 to $40,000 a year.

Trinity Structural Towers has roughly 90 people working at the old Maytag site, a number that is expected to grow to about 140. Mark Stiles, a senior vice president at Trinity, which builds the towers that support wind turbines, said workers at his factory make about $17 an hour, plus benefits.

"This is a piece of the recovery, but we think it's a nice piece," Stiles said.

Newton Mayor Chaz Allen said many are still trying to recover after the loss of Maytag in 2007.

"You know, 115 years with one company was a great thing, but it's a different world now," Allen said. "Our economy has to be diverse and we can't put all of our eggs in one basket."

Obama was at the plant to highlight his energy proposal that has slowed on Capitol Hill. Skeptical Republicans and some Democrats from coal-producing states complain that it will increase costs for consumers, send jobs overseas and hurt businesses.

Obama said the nation needs more domestic production of oil and natural gas in the short term. But "the bulk of our efforts," he said, must focus on transitioning the U.S. to more renewable energy.

He pushed personal responsibility, calling on every American to replace one incandescent light bulb with one compact fluorescent. The president also said the leaders of the world's major economies will meet next week to discuss the energy crisis.

For his remarks, Obama chose Iowa, second only to Texas in installed wind capacity.

Said Clinton: “President Obama won the election. He beat me in a primary, in which he put forth a different approach. And he is now our president, and we all want our president, no matter of which party, to succeed, especially in such a perilous time.”
&&&&&&&&&

Dear Hillary, we know you are extremely skillful and tactful and diplomatic.

We know that when you say, "He beat me", we can read between the lines and know that it was a much larger cabal that ensure obama "won" the nomination. It was deplorable, and reveals that the Democratic party ain't (democratic). And we do conceded that he "won the election" either.

We know that you have an inside game to play.
