Until they supported BO, I don't know what their transgressions were. I agreed with TK on almost every policy he fought for. And he did fight. I am infuriated at his endorsement of BO esp. since BO couldn't have made it without it, but I don't find it evil -- I do see that it might be a part of their civil rights support which I applaud, even though it came at the expense of support for women. In short, I think it muddle-headed and dispiriting and maddening but not enough for me to heap calumny on the man whose voice cracked as he laid Bobby to rest or the man who was a guardian to 3 fatherless families while being an active and effective Senator. I believe that appointing CK would be wrong -- and in contrast to most of Bobby's children: Kathleen and Bobby Jr and others who have spent their lives in public service and consumer support and other good works.
