That 10 foot strip of land is very important.

Remember Obama’s excuse for the land deal was that the Rezkos intended to develop the side yard as a commercial property. (As if Obama would buy a mansion knowing that noisy and dirty construction would take place right next to the mansion and not even know what that commercial development would be.)

Once the 10 foot strip of land was sold the side yard became worthless as a development site.

I was speaking with a friend of mine who has strong ties in the black community. She tells me that the older members of that community do not hold Jesse Jackson Sr. in the same high regard that our own beloved big media does.

She says that Dr. King lost confidence in Jesse Jackson Sr. and would probably have thrown him out of the inner circle because of his self promoting tendencies and big mouth. Kings papers provide part of the basis for this insight. Furthermore, elderly black people who were in the no did not appreciate the manner in which he seized King’s crown after the assasination. They knew the inside story.

So if it turns out that Jesse Jackson Jr. did in fact try to buy the seat, he would be a chip off the old block, now wouldnt he.

My friend has deep insight into Chicago politics and has lived there on and off for years. My friend says there is no way–no way Obama could have possibly risen in the Chicago Machine–much less as fast as he did–some might say meteorically, if he was clean. Impossible.

My friend believes this is the first cog in his undoing. Too many people know the truth. It will take time but Act 3 may be closer than we think.

Finally, she noted that msnbc–and apparently ratboy chuck todd–are blaming the prosecutor. See why I say they are a joke–all the way up to Capus and Griffin.

Nothing I have heard him say is nearly as trancendent and revealing as the above quote.
