How about calling it the “NO SPIN ZONE”

I thought you were talking about only papers/journals/magazines, etc.

Except for the Aussie papers, all mine were radio or TV, some streamed over the internet, most not.

btw, in print, add The Economist to my list, as well as The British Independent (slightly left of center), and the Times, of course, for more truth than fiction.

I don’t worry so much about how a publication or broadcast “leans”, left or right, as I do about whether they are speaking the truth.

This is what Blue and I are creating, we were talking about it as ‘News Vigilantes’ or ‘News Worth Reading’.

I also google the CBC (Canadian) radio and internet TV sites, Australian radio and Video, plus 2-3 of the papers (the Age, the Australian and the Times), DK (German) Nightly news on PBS, as well as World Focus (sorta junky) on PBS nightly.

Added to the BBC, one gets a very different perspective from the LA and NY Times, the Chicago Trib, Miami Herald etc.

I told wbboei once that I am old enough I can remember when the Trib and Gannett did not own every darn paper around: we had god, the King and Queen and the 10 children…all 13 were high quality first tier NEWSpapers.

I to have always wonder about this comment.

Scepticism rises, then peaks when told that the story came from the security company…. I suspect some odd reporting somewhere along the line.

Yes, I’ll give you a head start with the connection who is behind Barry. It’s George Soros in tandem with the IMF. I discovered recently the UK gave up it’s “sovereignty” in July of 08′ when Brown signed the Lisbon Treaty joining hands with (38 countries..taking number from memory) under The New World Order, Global Economy under the authority of the International Monetery Fund. (aside: The city of London was cut out of the deal and remains soveriegn to the monarchy) (and I believe we have the same deal where DC remains sovereign to the US) The only country asking their citizens by referendum at their last election, if they want to join the Lisbon Treaty giving up Ireland’s Soverigenty. Citizens voting a resounding “NO”! (there hasn’t been any resolution yet with Ireland’s sovereign status)

The next meeting for the IMF will be held in London in April. At this meeting is where I believe, with Obama as president, he will acquiese to the US giving up our sovereignty to the North American Union. (invisible borders between Mexico, US and Canada and in the near future a new currency to come…something called the Ameri-peso when the US Dollar is offically scrapped)
