Send Bill Clinton to the Senate:
&&&&&&&&&

After after that, he’ll be the next Mayor of Hope, Arkansas. Then run a bait shop. That will complete his evolution.

Heh, it would be fun to watch Bill take on the Senate. However I'm sure Hillary has other friends she can trust to keep her seat warm, and Bill has better things to do.

Axelrod spoke quite highly of Hillary the other day on Wallace's show even though Wallace(who had his plate handed to him by Bill) tried to stir up the anti-Clinton rhetoric. Fox News is back to their Clinton hating almost as much as MSNBC. That "pimp" Shuster is back on the air as well....vomit!!!!

Turndown: I think we have to apply Allinsky rules to some of these talking heads. Personalize it, freeze it, ridicule them, take them down. I am sure they consider themselves untouchables, but if we can take them down then we can take the media source down with them.
========================

I thought that was the way Alinsky would get a particular official to give them a particular thing -- such as loans to unqualified buyers -- and then more and more particular things in future. If they actually got the official removed, next time they wanted something they'd have to start over with a new official. Once the first target has caved, they'll leave him in place to cave again and again. That's how blackmail works; you don't 'take down' your victim once and for all.

I don't see how bringing down a particular newscaster would stop the network hiring another as bad or worse. (And the publicity for that individual, which might be bad for a government official, is just more publicity/ratings for a newscaster.) There's an endless supply of those 'newscasters'.

To me the article is at best speculation the likes of what we do here, a little truth mixed in with I’m not sure what. I would rather hear from Hillary herself and I doubt that will happen
———————————-
Jan- I hope we are better than they are. Granted we are not paid 6 or 7 figure salaries, and we do no have the access that they do, but we are truth seekers and they are not.

I am as uncomfortable as you are with this their pronounced editorial bias and use of unaccredited sources whose motives are never discussed.

That assumes these informed sources even exist, for as you know we have had people like Mike Barancle at NYT who simply invented stories, and if they reflect what the editor of that newpaper wants they are not challenged internally.

Patrick Healey comes close to that line at times in my opinion
&&&&&&&&&&

I have started a partial boycott of my once favorite paper. All that's left is the little gem called the crossword puzzle. The partial boycott is of the Sunday paper, which I haven't bought since That One was installed. Who needs 14 lbs of newspaper, most of which gets recycled right away. But I continue to by the Mon - Sat., again. crossword. I'm not addicted. I just can't live without them.

But as for the rest of the trash... I used to read the first section religiously, but now, yeesh. Frank Rich? Maureen Dowd? Ach.

Krugmeister is still worth the read. But it's just going to be so much Obamalovefest, I'd prefer to get real "news" somewhere else.

Giving up things ain't so hard. I quit Olbermann in a heartbeat when in late 2007 it became apparent he was a paid Obama staffer who proclaimed to be an independent Voice of Reason.

Axelrod has got his AP snitch beth fouhey promoting a false meme about Hillary giving up her independence. Dont believe it. Fouhey has been working for Axelrod all along, according to my sources. I believe Axelrod will be marginalized by Raul. The Chicago machine will not "rule" the government, the country or the world. Axelrod will learn that in due course--hopefully the hard way. As for Fouhey we have got her number. Signing off.
