As someone who has grown fond of Sarah, I loved her rally today. She was on fire, giving a talk without any noticeable look at any notes.

She said, “It isn’t negative campaigning to talk abut someone’s experience and record” and proceeded to do that. Obama on spreading the wealth and taxes and how we were all fooled till Joe the Plumber got O to say what he really means to do.

It was a tour de force.

But I am strong, I am woman, there are 14% [of 18million Dem votes] of us who are not voting for
nObama, and I wager that pretty much all of us are voting for McPalin! And to think, without McCain having anyone calling him the Messiah, without fake Greek Temple columns, without millions and millions wasted on a loser campaign that could have fitted nicely in the pocketbooks of those that nObama want to give a welfare check to OUT OF MY POCKET, without cheating/fraud, and without an EGO the size of the state of Texas – no, er, the size of Alaska…..and without BEATING UP ON GIRLS!

So take that and stick it up where the sun does not shine…and keep listening to the chant CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE that nObama whispers but never explains……hell, nObama has not even stopped sh!tting green yet he is so naive and inexperienced!

It is very troubling to see how little some people understand about the importance of party unity and that real tried and proved political figures are far smarter than their critics.It takes guts,strength,inteligence and a solid understanding of the of the system.Wether Obama wins or loses,Hillary will still be standing and highly respected by bothsides of the aisle and the vast majority of the American people.She won the primaries and had more votes than the her rivals.The Caucases were rigged for BO and as we now know Acorn has been at work for many years and got him into Chicago politics and has paved the way with fraud deception and downright bribery.Hillary is our homegrown leader and is being true to our country an its peopleWhat has BO done to be even considered as leader and true citizen of this country.
Cry on you poor misguided light weights and watch her and learn a thing or two about integrity and personal sacrifice from the smartest most honorable woman ever to bless this country.

For most of the last twenty months, I have kept an open, objective assessment on Obama but this last month I just have been shattered.
I have not disliked anybody as much as I despise
obama. I even find Bush more tolerable than BO and that is saying something.

OMG MP me too. Bush lost me with the war, I think he handled it poorly, and took too long to realize he was on the wrong track, and there were some lives lost that didn’t need to be. We’re a military family, and hubby was in a very secretive job during the early years of the war, and of course he couldn’t tell me anything, but he did say trust me Linda, this the right thing to do so I wasn’t against so much at the begining, but then I learned other things that led me to believe there were some leadership problems and poor execution of the war. Nothing secret, he didn’t break any laws, just an inside perspective. Hubby was a Clinton and Gore supporter though, grew up in an Cleveland democrat home, and his mother is barely talking to him. She’s an FDR dem. This is the first time I’ve voted. Although I always supported Clintons, I always lived in an area where my vote really didn’t matter, I was looking forward to voting for Hillary in Florida. But we voted for McCain, not only because of BO did to Hillary and because he’s a socialist, marxist who probably even isn’t a US citizen, but because McCain was right on the surge, and he saved lives by not giving up and pushing the surge, maybe even my husbands, and BO voted to cut off their funding while they were still in a war zone, even Biden said that would cost lives, and because we believe Sarah will speak for special needs, something close and dear to our hearts. And like you I just can’t even stand to look at BO anymore.

You know I never thought about it before, but he definitely has a point there. I thougth she was on her sick bed, of course it did take him 3 days from announcing to actually going there. A**hole. He’s confirming he doesn’t even meet the constitution’s criteria to run for POTUS. This if for no other is why he must be defeated.

Shortermer I just saw your post. Sorry it was a crazy busy day. I took a bunch of kids with autism day trick or treating. I can’t go tomorrow, we are leaving to check out our next station(military family.) House hunting. I would have loved to have gone though, thanks for the offer. You’re probably already gone but have a ton of fun and if you meet tell her a special needs mom for Hillary is 100% behind her!

birdgal: the article I referred to took the business analyis a step beyond malone. I think there is some merit to what Malone says–the editors wanting to hang on until retirement. But the notion that there is some loose understanding in place whereby bambi would save their industry stands a better than even chance of being true in my opinion. My dad was a good poker player and he used to say trust all men but cut the cards. In the case of bambi it would be wise to demand a new deck.

I’m not sure it was though. I have heard 2 different things, one was about McCain’s campaign manager saw her on a Charlie Rose show on PBS, she was debating someone, and she caught his attention, and he called McCain. And that is when she was first put on the list of possible contenders. And I think they said that was Feb. It actually may have been before McCain even had the nomination. And then when McCain met her at some function in Washington, Cindy was with him, she said they hit it off right away, she also said he didn’t say anything, but she knew he was going to pick Palin. And I think this was before June, I think it was before anyone knew what the outcome would be, And I think I was watching Cindy’s interview with Greta where she said this. I would need to research to know for sure on the time line, but This would show that Palin was not a last minute decision based on Hillary not getting VP pick, and was on the list and at the top of it before it was decided between BO and Hillary. Unless they are lying. But Cindy doesn’t strike me as a liar. She seemed proud of herself that she knew what her husband was thinking way back then. I think its classic McCain. On conservative lists she was always on the list, she just wasn’t on the media’s list, so that is one reason they reacted the way they did and made the accusation that it was only because she is a woman. That seems sexist to me. I think he still would have picked her even if they didn’t cheat Hillary like they did. But like I said, that is so classic McCain. I think the other reason he picked her was because he knew she would energize the base, and he needed someone to pull in the conservatives.
