Maybe the reason for the political split in the family. RFK was basically kicked to the historical curb by the revisionist JFK history written by Teddy White and Jackie. JFK was very impaired by his medical problems and I suspect that RFK’s contributions to the JFK presidency have been marginalized in order to continue the Camelot myth. After Joe Jr, Bobbie was the star of the Kennedy family. As time goes on, JFK drops farther down the rankings of the Presidents. Hopefully, some day, the true stories of both JFK and RFK will be written; if it is, both will benefit.

I almost yelped my glee out loud, but I was on this secret mission – the planting of the folded flyers – so I just finished the job, ran out to the car where I could let out a blast of a laugh and a mighty “YES!” Hafta tell you this , I hafta tellyou.
