There are 7,000,000 Dem voters 5,300,000 rep voters, 4,000,000 indies. Hillary had 2.7 million votes, Obama only 2.1 million, this is interesting because it means that at least 2.2 million Dem voters were passive in the primary. Will they turnout for the GE. On top of that, Obama has to work for Hillary's 2.7 million votes. Now heres the interesting part. In 2004, Kerry took 6,745,000 votes to Bushes 5,550,000, Kerry underperformed registration by 250,000 and Bush over performed by 300,000. Here's the interesting part, if we say Obama will lose 1/3 of clinton voters, thats 900,000 in California. So if you drop 6,745,000 by 900k and increase the repubs total by 900K, you get Obama 5,850,000 and McCain 6,450,000. Is this why Obama and McCain are running ads in California? In regard to the birth certificate issue, obama has not proven citizenship therefore one can assume that he is illegal in our country. There should be an emergency hearing and deportation consideration like anyone else. Mc/Palin will do just fine. I am looking mostly at our national security more than anything else also, Mc/Palin have proven their record. If a threat of civil unrest happens than so be it.
