William made a comment on tm several months back that Hillary is the last great Roosevelt liberal left on the stage. Times make the man or in this case the woman. There is no one better than Hillary to find a path through this mess. Obama needs to stay out of the way and let the people who know what they are doing fix it. The fact that he is studying for the debates and doesnt intend to act until he becomes president means he will not be in a position to fuck it up which is good.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Hillary was "studying for the debates" (back in 2007 and 2008) for years. As First Lady. As Senator, she was a policy wonk, just like Bill, and just like Al. Bill was a natural, but the man could cite statistics, and then turn them into a compelling narrative. I thought we all saw Hillary growing, starting back in 1999 or 2000 when she stated that she was going to run for Senator of NY. And she continued to grow, and learn, and lead. Right now, she's making the best of her current situation, and defending as best she can the good name of the Democrats, and in doing so, her own good name and reputation.

Obama? Not so much.

Disgusting — Saturday Night Live is in hot water, as they should be, for their tasteless joke on this weekend’s episode about Todd Palin, his daughters, and incest. NBC’s hateful misogyny continues
--------------------------------------------
Q: berkely- by your lights will this cause a voter backlash. This stuff should turn off alot of people but it is part of an effort by bambi to subject her to the death of a thousand cuts. The public should revolt against this sort of thing. Is there any evidence of this?

Berkeley Vox,

NBC and the rest of the media in Obama's pocket could care less if they are in hot water. They got their message of mockery out there and that is all that matters to them.

I have alot of fun here with Biden but I do agree he is a good man. You may recall when she went to the state of the union and bambi turned his back on her as he stood next to kennedy, biden offered her a place to sit with him. Of the original 7 candidates he was my number 2 choice.

Palin takes Manhattan
Tue, 09/23/2008 - 4:16pm
Getty Images

Call it foreign-affairs speed dating: In a meet-and-greet whirlwind set to last no longer than 30 hours, Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin is in the midst of her "coming out" to foreign-policy society at the United Nations General Assembly.

The introductions began last night with a cocktail party thrown by none other than Pres. George W. Bush at Manhattan's famous Waldorf-Astoria hotel. Among those she's met or is scheduled to meet are Afghan Pres. Hamid Karzai, Iraqi Pres. Jalal Talabani, Colombian Pres. Álvaro Uribe, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and U2's rockstar-turned-activist, Bono.

These fleeting encounters have the potential to backfire, but there might be more to glean from Palin's "must meet" list than from any gaffes. James Bone of the Times, for instance, points out that her meetings with Georgian Pres. Mikheil Saakashvili and Ukrainian Pres. Victor Yushchenko are "a gesture towards a revanchist Russia," and notes that nowhere on her agenda was there a representative of Britain. So, while this dance may be fleeting -- those looking for clues about Palin's diplomatic capabilities and the McCain camp's foreign-policy intentions should pay close attention.

Idunn,

Very interesting. We were saying that, yesterday, too. My thoughts were it could be a premptory strike to control the narrative in case of a Nov. 4th loss.

But you think something's out there that will portray BO as racist?
Tell us more.
"Bambi and Co. are definitely pumping the race card in anticipation of something about to come down the pike. Doubt it’s Wright (been there already)…whatever it is, must be something pretty damned good"
