I think people will look back on Bambis decision to pick unvetted Biden over Hillary as the moment the election was irretievably lost for the Democrats. Obviously we do not know everything but this was a guiness book bad decision, and when the revisonists try to blame Hillary for the gotterdamerung ahead this needs to be the answer.

Jesse Jackson Jr on CNN spouting off on how Obama has unified the party, because he pulled back the bandage to expose all the pus, so now it’s healed. I guess we are the “pus”.

I worked my ass off in SC trying to get votes for your daddy, and I cried when he won, as well. But I will not shed one tear for your pale shadow, half-assed, wannabe, snotty little pathetic strutting caricature of a civil rights leader self.

A round of new polls by Mason-Dixon and the Denver Post, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and the Salt Lake Tribune will give everyone something to chew on.

On the plus side for McCain, he’s surprisingly up by four points in New Mexico (45%-41%) and seven points in Nevada (46%-39%). On the minus side for him, he’s ahead only by six points in his home state of Arizona (47%-41%), and he’s trailing Obama by three in Colorado (46%-43%), although a new Quinnipiac poll out today has McCain up one in this state (47%-46%).

McCain leads in AZ, UT, NM, WY, and NV. Obama is up by three in CO in the Mason-Dixon poll, but a Quinnipiac poll released the same day shows McCain up by one there.

All in all, this is great news for McCain. Mason Dixon has traditionally been the gold standard for state polls.

Two new polls showed yesterday that John McCain has locked up as much as 27 percent of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s supporters – and he’s mounting a new offensive to win over even more.

Moon: great news. This is what I have been sensing all along, with no empirical data to back it up. It is moving back to where it was before. I think the real number is 1/3–and the exit polls in November will show it.
