A reason NOT to vote for the DEMOCRATS this election cycle. A Fine American was THROWN UNDER THE BUS BY THE DEMOCRATS AND TEAM OBAMA by NOT STANDING for this person's rights.

Country before Party, When the party that's SUPPOSE to be for Equal And Women RIGHTS attacks this innocent American in the quest of annoiting their "empty suit" against the Clintons. Democratic Leaders, MSM and Team Obama's MORALLY BANRUPTED LEADERSHIP shows ALL American how little they VALUE Women in the DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

THIS WOMEN WAS SLANDERED BY THE MEDIA!!!

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY ENDORSED AND PROMOTED SEXISM AND MYSOGINY as ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR FOR THE WORLD AUDIENCE. AMERICA WAS SHOWN AS BEING HYPOCRITAL ON WOMEN RIGHTS and are the TALIBAN OF THE WEST!!!

Vanity Fair to Gina Gershon: Sorry, but we're not sorry over Bill Clinton story
By Jo Piazza
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Gina Gershon demanded an apology and a retraction from Vanity Fair after a story implied she's been carrying on with Bill Clinton. But the mag says she's not getting the former.

Vanity Fair refuses to issue a retraction for their Bill Clinton profile that implied the former commander in chief has been having an affair with "Showgirls" stunner Gina Gershon.

Gershon's pitbull lawyers at L.A. celebrity law firm Lavely and Singer demanded a retraction from the mag, saying that "rumor mongering was substituted for fact-checking. It is apparent that Vanity Fair was intent upon publishing unsubstantiated rumors, and that it avoided learning the true facts so that the truth would not get in the way. Such conduct is reckless and malicious, giving rise to substantial liability for defamation."

But now the mag is biting back. A Vanity Fair spokeswoman says, "Todd Purdum's article does not indicate that former President Bill Clinton had an improper relationship with Gina Gershon. The story merely examines the concerns of some of Clinton's aides about reports of his behavior. We don't believe that any correction is warranted."

Purdum attributed the rumored romance to "high-end Hollywood dinner-party gossip" in his profile of Clinton, "The Comeback Id."

The writer implied the affair was conducted cross-country as part of Clinton's bad-boy behavior with bachelor pals Ron Burkle and Steve Bing.

Gershon has stated that she has only met the former president on three occasions, all of them heavily supervised by the presence of other people.

We need to keep up the fight and keep posting here on the internet. The next couple weeks may be uneventful (the calm before the storm) unless the Republicans decide to go all out starting on Monday. I would hate to see people swayed into a sense that suddenly everything is roses. That is why I think some Obama campaign people are saying they will wait a couple weeks to see if Hillary supporters are really going to not vote for Obama before consideration of her for VP. They are betting that we have no resolve to follow through with what we say. No doubt some Hillary supporters will drift into the Obama camp but I feel confident many of us absolutely will not..I know I won't. We need to keep Obamas feet to the fire...we all know that everything is not what it seems. There is an avalanche of negativity just around the corner for Obama and soon the world will see it unfold.

i too dread "the speech" for the same reasons. i know she will be saying a lot of things i don't want or need to hear. any pitches toward holding hands and forgiveness will fall on deaf ears.

i signed up for citizens for McCain this morning. that is my "speech" for today.

I am sitting here trying to decide whether I want to listen to this speech, which is strange because 48 hours ago I was seriously considering going back there for it to show the love respect and fondness I will always have for Hillary. But if the speech is a ringing endorsement of this chalatan or worse I do not need to hear it. I would rather remember Hillary as the fighter for a just cause rather than as a shill for a fatally flawed candidate and a corrupt political party. I never got sea sick when I was in the navy, but if that is what this speech is about I will puke. And to his misguided supporters spare me the we really need you speeches because the truth is I dont need you, I dont want you and I will be supporting McCain.

virago47 Says:

June 7th, 2008 at 9:18 am Mr. Rangle is a good friend of Hillary Clinton, and like only a good friend can do, he explained the reality of the situation to her. She was not going to get the support of the DNC or super delegates. Hillary Clinton respects Mr. Rangle and his judgement.
-----------------------------------------------
I think this is accurate. The only thing I would say is that if Charley was really a good friend he would have conveyed this message privately rather than in the presence of other sds.

It’s not that she hasn’t looked around.

It’s the beginning of the sell, probably at Hill’s request.

Steinem on women’s issues is about as unimpeachable as it gets.

Do you not think?

Bluedem: if the question is do I think- then the answer if I am trying very hard not to as I wait to hear what Hillary will say in this speech. If the question is do I agree with your assessment that this is the first stage of the sell women on the unity message and it is directed by Hillary the answer since Gloria is a strong Clinton supporter the answer is an unequivocal yes. You are right.

Laura sitting in for O’Reilly is a.#@%^@. Nasty gal. Her hate of the Clintons just jumps through the TV and grabs you around the throat.
---------------------------------------------
Southern Born: surely not Laura Ingraham. Last time I checked she was mildly supportive of Hillary. Perhaps they have decided the real attack against Bambi cannot begin until Hillary is out to the race. I really believe that the vitriol directed against Hillary by the media this past week is a feeble attempt to make her concede rather than suspend. According to what was reported above some of the sds have made a faustian pact with the dnc to not support her at the convention. When we know their names we will be in a better position to take retaliatory action if we decide to do so. Certainly women in Massachusetts have been willing to do so. We will see what she says on the suspend vs concede issue. Also I have not gone back and read the entry above but I was sent an earlier version of it and there was something about calling the game on the media although the statement was more nuanced.
