3. He’s going to lose the popular vote. It has happened that in the GE, the popular vote winner has lost the electoral college, but rarely.

Would this be a first, where the nominee of a major party doesn’t win the popular vote??? Or maybe the last time it happened, it was before the game of Baseball was invented?
&&&&

To clarify, he's going to lose the popular vote within the party primaries, I wasn't talking about the GE. That he'd win on delegates and lose the popular vote to Hillary.

NewMexicoFan Says:

Just got a Hillary gram. They finish with we will unify behind the nominee etc. I have a gut feeling that there is some reason they are hitting this so hard. I don’t see Obama saying it.
&&&&

My take: Hillary is saying she is going to fight for the nomination, but she's putting on boxing gloves, not brass-knuckles. Essentially, "I'm going to work for every vote, and then work for every super delegate, and work within the confines of the party's rules, and I will accept the outcome if the opposition wins fair and square".

Obama's attitude is to play it cool, that it's already a done deal. But me thinks they're a bit worried, on many fronts:

1. they fucking know that about half of Hillary's supporters won't back him. It's not just a tantrum-y phase we're going through "because our candidate will lose" (she won't "lose", we're fighting to have the nomination stolen). The vast chasm between Them and Us is not going to heal over just because the DNC on 5/31 said "Party Unity: Mission Accomplished". Too much bad blood, over *how* Obama is ahead on delegates (unfair caucuses, fighting revotes in FL/MI, etc.) and SDs (we suspect these weenies are getting donations from the vast pile-o-dough from Obama's fundraising machine).

If only 10% of HRC supporters defect, the GE is unwinnable for Obama & Cabal. 20% or more, it's a friggin' landslide. "Ah, the sweet stench of defeat".

2. His negatives are up, and we've got more skeletons falling out of the Really Big Walk-in Closet. And the famed Republican slime-machine hasn't even started warming up yet.

Roger Stone may be right about the tape, but he's a slimeball. He started an anti-HRC organization with the initials C.U.N.T.

There is hope, we still haven't heard all there is with Rezko, and there is the "whitey" tape possibly coming out before the convention. But honestly, BHO has been a teflon candidate so far nothing sticks.

Moononpluto, Roger stone a republican operative claims that one of the networks has the tape. He also claimed that as the reason why Hillary stayed in the race. The Dem operative did not think she is in the race for that reason. Strangely enough he did not deny that the tape exists only called it republican dirty trick. I think most Dem operatives know that such a tape exists.
