Blue And Grey On Memorial Day

The blue uniforms of the Grand Army of the Republic and the grey uniforms of the Confederacy, buried deep in the nation’s soil, gave birth to Memorial Day.

Memorial Day was officially proclaimed on 5 May 1868 by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, in his General Order No. 11, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. The first state to officially recognize the holiday was New York in 1873. By 1890 it was recognized by all of the northern states. The South refused to acknowledge the day, honoring their dead on separate days until after World War I (when the holiday changed from honoring just those who died fighting in the Civil War to honoring Americans who died fighting in any war). It is now celebrated in almost every State on the last Monday in May . . . .

The Democratic Party is now engaged in the opening battles of a Civil War. As in the 1860s this war cannot be avoided. Fort Sumter has been fired upon.

At Big Pink, we carry the Union flag. 50 States – some red, some blue – but 50 States form the Union. Men and Women from all 50 states for the Union.

Thus far, the Democratic? Party Civil War has been contained to the presidential level. At some point however those Democratic? officials and office holders who endorsed Obama will be held to account. As Kristen Breitweiser wrote

Those who are responsible for putting Democrats in the broken place we are in right now with regard to Barack Obama had better own it to the end. Leave those bumper stickers on and wear those campaign pins until the bitter end folks because YOU OWN IT. And people are going to want to know whose [sic] to blame.

And as for the superdelegates, just an FYI, we have the list with your names, you will be held accountable on Election Day and beyond, too. This time around, everybody’s going to be looking for accountability.

The Democratic? Party Civil War has begun. It will spread.

As Professor Sean Wilentz makes clear in his latest description of the Democratic nomination fight, Barack Obama is engaged in the destruction of the Democratic Party. Obama campaign officials and not-so-covert Obama supporters have an ugly vision for the Democratic Party which must be fought:

Donna Brazile: A new Democratic coalition is younger. It is more urban, as well as suburban, and we don’t have to just rely on white blue-collar voters and Hispanics.

David Axelrod: The white working class has gone to the Republican nominee for many elections, going back even to the Clinton years. This is not new that Democratic candidates don’t rely solely on those votes.

Barack Obama is destroying the Democratic Party and Dean/Brazile/Pelosi are aiding Obama in the destruction of the Democratic Party. Obama has engaged in a campaign of race-baiting (calling Hillary supporters racists, presumably Hillary African-American supporters are racist too) anonymous memoranda attacking Bill and Hillary Clinton, covertly pushing ugly untrue stories to Big Media allies which distort what Hillary and Hillary supporters say and do (the RFK Obama pushed assasination story is only the latest example), and engaged in misogyny and gay-bashing tours.

There is a Democratic Civil War. It is already underway.

Obama is also trying to get the Democratic Party nomination by NOT counting votes. Obama thinks Democrats will forget his election theft by November. We have not forgotten 2000 and that was eight years ago. Democrats will not forget:

Obama dismissed suggestions that bitterness over the matter might unravel the likelihood of Democratic voters uniting behind a single presidential contender in November.

Once delegates are seated “this is going to be a story nobody is thinking about in August,” Obama said.

Democrats will remember in November – the question is whether the Civil War spreads down ticket from the Presidential level this election cycle or the next.

Obama’s delusions about amnesiac Democrats shows how little Obama knows about Democrats.

The Democratic Civil War, much like the great split that occurred when the courageous Lyndon Johnson signed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, will be about Civil Rights and Respect – this time for Women.

Yet the excoriation of Hillary – under the cover of Clinton-bashing – raises the question of whether America could elect any woman at all. A country self-flagellating about its racial fissure has basked in its own misogyny. Racism is a proper injustice after all, sexism a Vaudevillian amusement. And so the “Bros not Hos” T-shirts depicting Obama (the black brother) and Hillary (the whore) are simply a blast. The Hillary Clinton novelty nutcrackers, on sale in American airports, are just frat-boy joshing, while a crude racial novelty item – perhaps a mammoth Obama pepper grinder to indicate the stereotypical size of the black male organ – is unlikely to have a patent pending.

Those who heckled Hillary with “iron my shirts” would be indicted or lynched if they barracked Obama with “bus my table” or “shine my shoes”. And it may be his slip of the tongue, “a bad habit”, as he says, to call a female reporter “sweetie” – although what might it be if Hillary called a black writer “boy”? – but did the journalist herself deserve to be branded a “bitch” or a “fat slob” merely for taking umbrage?

Clearly, American women should lighten up at these bottom-patting diminutions. Maybe it’s a sign of progress that Hillary hasn’t received as many death threats as the vice-presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 when the Secret Service insisted she campaign in a bulletproof vest. Perhaps we should indulge male political commentators whose brains combust when looking upon a potential female head of state, so they are blinded by visions of their grasping ex-wife, a bunny-boiling mistress, their third grade teacher, a shrew, a nag, their mother… All that old, old stuff, even now?

The Obama Chicago thugs aided and abetted by Big Media and Big Blogs (DailyKooks, Arriana Huff n’ Puff, and Talking Pimps Memo) have insulted and degraded all women:

Gloating, unshackled sexism of the ugliest kind has been shamelessly peddled by the US media, which – sooner rather than later, I fear – will have to account for their sins. [snip]

I am no particular fan of Clinton. Nor, I think, would friends and colleagues accuse me of being racist. But it is quite inconceivable that any leading male presidential candidate would be treated with such hatred and scorn as Clinton has been. What other senator and serious White House contender would be likened by National Public Radio’s political editor, Ken Rudin, to the demoniac, knife-wielding stalker played by Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction? Or described as “a fucking whore” by Randi Rhodes, one of the foremost personalities of the supposedly liberal Air America? Would Carl Bernstein (of Woodward and Bernstein fame) ever publicly declare his disgust about a male candidate’s “thick ankles”? Could anybody have envisaged that a website set up specifically to oppose any other candidate would be called Citizens United Not Timid? (We do not need an acronym for that.) [snip]

To compensate meantime, I suspect, sexism has been allowed to take its place as a form of discrimination that is now openly acceptable. “How do we beat the bitch?” a woman asked Senator John McCain, this year’s Republican presidential nominee, at a Republican rally last November. To his shame, McCain did not rebuke the questioner but joined in the laughter. Had his supporter asked “How do we beat the nigger?” and McCain reacted in the same way, however, his presidential hopes would deservedly have gone up in smoke. “Iron my shirt,” is considered amusing heckling of Clinton. “Shine my shoes,” rightly, would be hideously unacceptable if yelled at Obama.

We will remember in November.

Here we come to the crunch. Hillary Clinton (along with her husband) is being universally depicted as a loathsome racist and negative campaigner, not so much because of anything she has said or done, but because the overwhelmingly pro-Obama media – consciously or unconsciously – are following the agenda of Senator Barack Obama and his chief strategist, David Axelrod, to tear to pieces the first serious female US presidential candidate in history.

Big Media tool Barack Obama and Big Media have fired the shot at Fort Sumter. It is long past time we returned fire.

“Gloating, unshackled sexism of the ugliest kind has been shamelessly peddled by the US media, which – sooner rather than later, I fear – will have to account for their sins.”

The Civil War has begun.

  1. That was an awesome post. I cannpt agree more. Civil War has indeed begun in the party, and I look forward to fighting on the union side as we are now, including Michigan and Florida in our union of course. They think we will all come to close ranks…..laughable.

  2. That was an awesome post by Larry Johnson. This tape, if true, and it sounds good, is amazingly devastating and sd’s being paid off to endorse obama, all of the ones that have in other words, should think twice.

  3. they should but mcain aint going to help hillary ith sds with this tape so they will old it-but if mccain no has it, rove has it will anyone else have it to stop this dude?

  4. Larry said he has 4 sources about this tape, maybe there is more than 2 copies, someone at that church supports Hillary, I saw at least one in an interview in an article about Obama and Wright. I hope someone on our side has it, that would be nice to show Dean and the sd’s, and regular delegates.

  5. I can imagine many more folks on both sides have the tape. I have to imagine they are waiting for just the right time for the tape to appear for maximum benefit. So McCain will get the points for it.

  6. Holy s**t, texan4hillary. I just clicked on your link. There’s videotape of Michelle Obama railing against “whitey” at Jeremiah Wright’s church?!?! Whoahhh….

    —————
I know for a fact that Barack and Michelle Obama would like the tape of her blasting “whitey” during a rant at Jeremiah Wright’s church to never see the light of day. They are worried, appropriately so, about the damage this tape will inflict on the Obama campaign. They can be certain of one thing–the tape will hit the blogosphere and TV land come October if Obama is the nominee.

How do I know? I have learned from someone in touch with a senior Republican over this holiday weekend that a major McCain backer has a copy of the tape in addition to the one controlled by the Karl Rove folks. McCain’s supporters are not about to cut Hillary a break. They believe that John McCain stands a better chance of beating Barack rather than Hillary. That’s why they are holding the video. They realize showing it now would likely boost support for Hillary and erode support for Obama among the Super Delegates. Simply put, McCain wants Obama.

Then there is the angry woman problem. Here’s Michelle–living in a $1.6 million dollar home, graduate of America’s most prestigious universities, and pulling a six-figure salary–and she was not proud of the United States until Barack ran for President. Know what? The average angry, bitter white person. who is clinging to God and guns and not living in a mansion, not able to afford college, and making less than $50,000 a year, does not know what her damn problem is.

  7. I hope it gets snatched and leaked. That would be very good for us, but it would be amusing watching the fallout.

  8. From a column in yesterday’s Boston Globe:

    ————–
In an interview on ABC, Obama growled that Republicans “should lay off my wife,” and described the inoffensive Tennessee video as “detestable,” “low class,” and reflecting “a lack of decency.”

If Republicans “think that they’re going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign,” he added ominously, “they should be careful.”

Ooh, very fierce. But unless Obama is prepared to emulate Jackson – Old Hickory defended his wife’s honor by fighting duels, in one of which he killed a man – he stands no chance of putting his wife’s remarks off-limits to criticism. As long as he keeps sending her around the country to campaign on his behalf, everything she says is – and should be – fair game.

And unfortunately for Obama and his allegedly sunny politics of hope, what Mrs. Obama seems to say with grim regularity is that America is a scary, bleak, and hopeless place.

Here she is, for instance, in Wisconsin:

“Life for regular folks has gotten worse over the course of my lifetime, through Republican and Democratic administrations. It hasn’t gotten much better.”

    And in South Carolina:

America is “just downright mean” and “guided by fear . . . We have become a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day.”

  9. Admin. your post is everything i have wanted to hear and I wish i were as literate to express all of my pent up anger with OBama and his collection of campaign thugs, idolaters and cult supporters.Beleive me people, this group will go into our history books as the most dangerous, and vile campaigners ever to surface from the human scum that we have have always dreaded, might one day appear.STOP THEM NOW.Obama and his supporters have brought us to another Civil War.Living Veterans of all the wars, that our country fought for,BAND TOGETHER and fight off this shameful assault on peaceful and beautiful parts of our lives that we hold so sacred. In his book,Barack Hussein Obama, wrote that if he had to choose in a situation as this,he would be on the MUSLIM SIDE.He has no character,no shame,no love for this country that has given so much to him and his wife, the angry MO.Barack ,take Jimmy Carter and you so called base of SD supporters and start a new country anywhere else in this world but not here in AMERICA.
ps Don’t forget the paddle and don’t let the door hit you in the butt. VETERANS,Remember this guy,and don’t let it happen to us again. ALL YOURS SOON HILLARY,THATS A PROMISE WE WILL KEEP in NOV.by ABM90

  10. from comments at no quarter:

    From Corrente yesterday:

Readers, I am not kidding. Get a load of this trial balloon from the UK. Times Online. [I’ve deleted the lying liar material on Hillary’s remarks before the Argus editorial board]. And keep reading, because you’ll love the sweetener:

Barack Obama wants Bill to heal Hillary Clinton wounds
Barack Obama, the probable Democratic presidential nominee, wants Bill Clinton to help him heal the deep party rifts created by his wife Hillary’s divisive campaign…

“If anybody can put their arms around the party and say we need to be together, it is Bill Clinton,” a senior Obama aide said.

    And Bill gets?

But look, I thought that Obama was the one with the Unity Pony? But now it’s Bill Clinton? Then why’d you smear him as a racist? WTF? Is Obama’s Unity Pony on back order too? Then how’d Bill Clinton get one?

“He’s brilliant, he has got heart and he cares deeply about the country. It’s tricky because of his position as Hillary’s spouse, but his involvement is very important to us.”

    And Bill gets?

“Bill Clinton will give permission to Hillary supporters to come into our camp and become one party.

Er, no. We’re not a cult. Or a movement. We don’t “need permission.” You asshole.

He is critical to this effort.”

Yes, Barack Obama now expects Bill Clinton to bring the Party back together, because he is not cpaable of doing that himself. And in return Bill Clinton gets back the love of the AA community, that Obama stole. The man has a lot of nerve.

  11. whitey is a alleged tape with michele curing whites wrev white. but only a few folks have it-none so far going to release until oct. they are waiting for supers to vote in bambi before destroying him

  12. Diverging View Points by Taylor Marsh 5-26-08

“…I will do my best to have differing viewpoints represented hre going forward. That will include some voices that will likely infuriate you at times. But their opinion is no less valid than yours because you disagree.”

She says she will work to get Hillary nominated however if not she will work against McCain.

  13. Interesting…here’s the full text of the article texan4hillary posted. I’d think that the Obama campaign would want these tapes released as soon as possible, because the longer the wait, the more severe the impact.

I understand the skepticism of many about whether there actually exists a tape of Michelle Obama engaged in an anti-white rant. The lady obviously has some anger management issues–just check out her senior thesis she wrote at Princeton–but this sounds too good to be true. However, here is why I think the tape exists.

I have two friends. One is a Democrat and one is a Republican. One lives on the west coast and one lives on the east coast. They do not know each other. Yet each has spoken directly with someone who has seen the tape. In fact, I first heard about the tape from my east coast friend. I thought it was interesting but, without additional proof, not worth mentioning. Later that night I was chatting with a friend, who happens to be an Obama supporter, but is very well connected to the Washington political scene. That person told me he had heard the same thing. He also told me about a separate tape of Barack Obama during an overseas trip that also is in the hands of the McCain folks.

The clincher came when my buddy on the west coast wrote to me that he had a friend who had seen the tape. Given that there are two separate people, completely unconnected, giving the same report, I think it is reasonable to conclude that the tape exists. We shall see.

  14. carry over from last thread:

    about the open letter
    confloyd,

    thank you…
could we write a new one as ‘justmeinmountdoraff’ suggests, and print it in a major paper, it would serve two purposes.

one it would tell hillary in a way she couldnt miss,
and two, it would tell s d’s in a way they couldnt miss…

GREAT IDEA CONFLOYD AND JUSTMEINMOUNTDORAFF !!!

let me know where to contribute for the ad…

  15. southern,

taylor has been pro hill, but seems to have been demoralized by recent events, her people ON her blog think otherwise.
    they want NO OBAMA…

  16. The point about Obama’s people wanting Bill Clinton to heal the party, wow, talk about audacity. WOW. After making him out to be the new David Duke straight out of the KKK. Please. His campaign has trashed the CLinton years, they havr trashed Hillary and Bill both personally, and now they want him to save obama……HAHAHAHA! LMAO.

  17. If the tape exists, and it sounds like it does, then it is 100 times more lethal to Obama’s campaign than anything Rev. Wright ever said. Wow.

  18. skmf12, I could write a new one, what about everyone writing one. It is a great idea to have them printed where? NYT or what? I guess I missed this idea upthread. I wrote that letter a long time ago. DId you see the date? Look how long they have been trying to get her out. I do know at that point I did not hate Obama as I do now. That’s what I noticed, the hate was not in that letter!

  19. Hawk, that’s bizarre that they are wanting Bill to help heal the party. Yeah right, if we will not forgive and forget when Hillary asks us to, why in hell do they think we will if Bill asks? That is just the way the Male chauvanists think! The man thinks Bill can get us in line, wtf? We are a split party and they better think about what they the hell they have done. As TM says; you broke it and now YOU own it! Get use to it, it will be President McCain if Hillary is not the nominee and on the top of the ticket!! If Obama is on the ticket he and Michelle better apologize and mean it!

  20. Sounds like Fox News is also promoting the assasination BS. Well, we at least understand there promotion of it, afterall, they are republicans.
I still will not be deterred, I will vote for McCain. I have always liked him anyway. He is Hillary’s friend. He is not perfect, but he is not a communist like O is.

  21. historically, the 2008 campaign will be looked upon as the great fissure that announced the end of the democrat party as we know it.

i just can’t decide if i’m trying to unite or secede in this whole mess. i just know i cannot be a part of the way it stands today.

  22. confloyd,

    NYT IS GOOD!

what do you think a full page would cost?
i’m thinking it would be outrageous, but lets face it, not only would hillary open it and see it, but so would:

    obama
    the SD”S
    tweety
    the dnc
    the true democrats
    the elitists
    the contributers
    the country and the world…

    SOUNDS GOOD TO ME.

(yes its money hill could always use, but the long term benefit, would be incalculable…)

we could spread the love to noquarter, taylors and onward…

  23. skmf12, So how do we start doing this? Should be write these letter and post them here and maybe get help with grammarical errors and decide which ones to post.
What about letters to the editors? I would even know how to buy a whole page add. I am in Texas so it would hard for me to get this info!

  24. i will donate to a NYT ad!!

brilliant idea…….the money it would cost/take away from hills campaign is minimal in comparison to the “VALUE” of what we purchase that Hill could not purchase for herself with our money.

    LET’S DO IT!!!

I bet we could send the money to …what was that group called again? the ladies that went on fox?? they ran that ad in USA today…….we could give them money to run our ad for us

  25. I don’t know if Hillary has seen the tape, but I don’t think she would release it to the public just to aid herself at the potential expense of the Democratic Party. If she has seen it, or has a copy, she may show it to SDs and officials. JMHO

  26. Two more superdelegates are out for Hillary…Diane Saxon….and…Norma Flores from Texas. Clinton Supporters Count Too (got this from TM)

I think the AD is a wonderful idea we should start off by pointing out the obvious with a nice background picture of Hillary (faded)

    Dear Hillary,

We, the people, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and in between, are with you all the way. We encourage you to continue to take this fight of yours to ensure that all voices are heard and that all states has its say and this includes Florida and Michigan to ensure that the fight for the nomination is fair and justice.

    etc… etc…

    Thoughts?

  27. ok guys, i just logged on after a long weekend. what kind of ad are you looking to publish in th NYT’s?

  28. djia,

    you’re right, BRILLIANT!!!!!

HOW DO WE GET AHOLD OF THEM?
we could tell them what we want to do, and ask if they would like to be involved, their work, our money….

  29. justmeinfla

maybe a short-sweet-to-the-point sentence representative from all 50 states. 50 reasons for HRC to continue the fight.

  30. Confloyd, agree 100%. Nice try, but no dice. There is no way I am in on this healing thing. Puleeeze.

  31. well we talked about putting out a letter to ask hillary to stay in the race, for the 17 million democrats who voted for her and believe in her…

we said we could tell her that under the circumstances, we are very sad to say, that we will be unable to vote for the more devisive democrat on the ticket, and we would like the DNC AND THE SUPER-DELEGATES to take note, that we have reached our bottom line, and will not budge from our position…

  32. Make sure the letter/ad says she has won more primary votes than any other US Presidential candidate ever.

  33. I think we should sign it off like

    Sincerely –

Truly yours, the true Hillary believers

    17 million voters and counting

  34. I wrote an open letter to Senator Clinton and posted on the DNC blog, I just posted it on the last thread. Do you all want this kind of letter?

  35. hey, alcina has a good point…

how about like on the vietnam memorial,

first we have that all encompassing short ‘statement’, than we fill the page in regular type, with supporters names…

  36. Hawk, I agree with you

One paragraph (preferably one of the first) should discsuss Hillary’s strength and reasons she should be the nominee and not Obama

Another paragraph – what the media fails to report – Hillary is stronger and electable compared with Obama and will beat McCain (include stastics) and the sexism in the media coverage of Hillary (include quotes from Obermann, Tweety, etc)

Another paragraph – the CORE democrat voters

I however feel we should REFRAIN from negatively attacking Obama just point out the facts etc

  37. skmf12, thats a good idea, names like on the vietnam memorial and a heartfelt statements from her supporters about why she should fight all the way to the convention floor, right?

  38. alcina,

we could ask all to contribute on the site by wed or fri, they would have to say it is their submission for the ‘AD’, than we all vote this weekend, and send our vote to admin, who could tally the votes, and announce the winner…

  39. Obama to do a “town hall “in New Mexico. It was reported that he changed the event to invitation only. What a weasel!

  40. cnfloyd,

yes sounds good when you think about it…

we could ask for contributions to have your name on the page right?
    or not…

  41. skmf12 Says:

    May 26th, 2008 at 2:52 pm
    southern,

taylor has been pro hill, but seems to have been demoralized by recent events, her people ON her blog think otherwise.
    they want NO OBAMA…
    *****************************************************
HELL NO!!! This is WAR, I’m sick and tired of this backstabbing lying Democratic “Big Tent” HYPOCRITICAL, LYING Party.

    NO OBAMA EVER!!!!

This SELLOUT will not vote for Obama ever and will become a proud democrat for McCain if Obambi is the nominee.

  42. I think the letter must certainly contain the information from the youtube video “mad as hell and we are not taking it anymore”. The misogyny is the most compelling issue of this campaign!! This campaign really shows me how women have let their guard down and become complacent and we have fallen back since the 60’s when we were all fighting for equality.

  43. Hillary Will Win Says:

    May 26th, 2008 at 3:49 pm
Obama to do a “town hall “in New Mexico. It was reported that he changed the event to invitation only. What a weasel!
*****************************************************Obambi is another George W. Bush from the left with the fake photo ops townhalls. Crying racism all the time when you question or compete against him…and look like you’re winning.

  44. There is already an organization that has been putting up ads for Hillary. Maybe, the letter could be in concert with them. That way, the effort would be more consolidated and the financial cost would be less. The NYT’s has been awful to Hillary. Why put an ad, in that paper? The name of the organization is: Women Count PAC.

  45. OKAY,

so it has a paragraph of our ‘mission statement’.
followed by ’17 million voters and counting…’

than, it has names of everday voters that sign there names to the statement.
if we had enough money it could wind around to the back page, of all hill supporters…

  46. I love the idea of an open letter!

How to start it off? Hmmm, how about something like this?

An Open Letter to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton

    Dear Senator Clinton,
Throughout your presidential campaign, you have demonstrated time and again that the American people come first and that the voters should be heard. As of (insert date), X million people in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands have voted for you in their various Democratic primaries and caucuses. X number more people have voted for you than for your Democratic opponent, Senator Barack Obama. Clearly, the people have spoken and they want you to be the Democratic Party nominee.

  47. I think we should do it independently of the organizations althought it could be costly but the reason for this is so to show its from Ordinary Americans

  48. we could ask for donations for that, but I think some people might not have money and are just as strong as those who have money. I think just ask for donations!

  49. Let’s get someone high profile to sign it too, a high profile person, and then the rest every day people, one from each state as was mentioned above. The 2 from MI & FL should read : Name and then “Disenfranchised Swing Voter”

  50. unfortunately, the NYT is one of few papers that garner national publicity. remember the political suicide of moveon.org’s general betray-us and the national headlines it made.

  51. Carbynew, maybe he changed it to invitation only because the American people have figured out he is just another Malcolm X and want no part of him! LOL!!

  52. hawk that would be a good idea, i’m sure many would sign…
and ofcourse the more the merrier…

  53. I think NYT is the most fitting place, afterall, they still sale full page ads even if it irritates the editorial board. I think thats the best place.
We should also say the state from which these open letters will come from. We could also limit the words amount of these letters!

  54. okay lets see if we are all talking about the same thing here.

    confloyd,
i think we are now talking about one letter, one mission statement, followed by many many names of hillary supporters and the state from which they hail…

    was this wrong folks?

  55. skmf12 Says:
    “jen NICE,
    is that your submission? LOL”

Thanks. Yes, that’s my submission for the opening paragraph. I guess it’s more of a first draft, actually. I’m sure the folks here will have ideas on how to improve upon it. And of course, after the primaries are over, we have to fill in the numbers. But I do think putting the numbers in the first paragraph is the way to go because that’s what will win Hillary this nomination.

  56. Obambi is just another wantabe, he is NOT Malcolm X or Martin Luther King Jr. or John F. Kennedy, he is just Barack Hussein Obama a WEAK ASS PUNK under the guise of a Democratic Senator campaigning for his party nominee for POTUS.

  57. Maybe if we have enough names, we could write just a small opening statement and then list the names/states. That would be awesome a whole page of names. WOW! and the end we could say and many more but we run out of space!

  58. I agree that the NYT is the right place for this open letter. For starters, Hillary is the senator from New York. And as others have said, the NYT has a national readership. International, even. The whole world is watching.

  59. I dont think we should name names but just leave it as

    17 million voters and counting

    thats a strong emphasis

  60. i also think that we decided on NYT’s, and i wonder if we are going to try and do this on our own, or we will try and include the ladies who put the add out in usa today, because they know how to get it done…

what is the thought here? first we should ask if anyone has a clue how to do an ad, or if someone is willing to contact them themselves and bring us the information…

  61. who has held money in the past for the ‘money bombs’?

isnt there someone or ones here who have worked in the newspaper industry? i seem to remember we do…

  62. No “make-up to break-up” repair here. Bully Obambi has crossed the line with that assassination crap. Twisting Hillary words about the Bobby Kennedy Presidential campaign to incite hatred with AAs is outrageous.

WOMEN is the MAJORITY faction in the Democratic Party and to tolerate this SEXISM crap is our own FAULT. For the DEMOCRATIC MEDIA to think we will STILL VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY after this GANG RAPE of HILLARY CLINTON is very telling of their respect for the women voters.

But that horse died and opened our eyes to the truth about our OWN party.

  63. Confloyd,

A full page NYT or USA Today ad? A small fortune, depending on placement. Here’s a small blurb about a Move-ON ad that ran at a reduced rate.
It would of course be quite valuable to the campaign, as it would be noted on networks and all around the net.
Maybe one of the fat cat donors could help….

According to Abbe Serphos, director of public relations for the Times, “the open rate for an ad of that size and type is $181,692.”

A spokesman for MoveOn.org confirmed to The Post that the liberal activist group had paid only $65,000 for the ad – a reduction of more than $116,000 from the stated rate.

A Post reporter who called the Times advertising department yesterday without identifying himself was quoted a price of $167,000 for a full-page black-and-white ad on a Monday.

  64. Remember, the Republicans WANT Obambi because they know they can beat him in the G.E. They can count votes too and they are better at it then Democrats.

So don’t be surprise at another “Dems shoot themselved in the foot” obiturary the day after the Presidential election.

  65. Carby, your right, where is Dean, Kennedy or the rest of the dead heads? Now they ask Bill for help in uniting the party, that is so ridiculous! We will not unite when Hillary’s tells us, why would we if Bill asks? This is how stupid they are!!

  66. Regarding the open ad, why give so much money to the SAME MSM that been in the tank for Obambi…when that money can be donated to Hillary’s campaign to help her stay in the race?

  67. Why is anyone surprised that Obama fanned the fire over the RFK comment? You can not even say he is unpatriotic without being called a racist.

Camp Obama will be on a full court press this week trying to hit 2025 before the Rules committees meets, thus putting so much pressure on them that they will not be able to seat Flordia and Michigan after Obama has secured enough votes to win the nomination (2025) and in effect take it away from him by changing the votes needed back to the original 2209.

I suspect Dean, Pelosi and Brazille will be working behind the scenes trying to ensure Obama hits 2025 before Saturday’s meeting.

  68. Rather he has 2025 will not matter, he is not awarded the nomination until August. So whatever his numbers are on the 31st will not matter!

  69. I love Bill and Hillary Clinton but I love my country better and if Obambi is the nominee I will be a proud Democrat for McCain.

Remember it’s our own damn fault that our party felt they could use GANG RAPE tactics on Hillary and we will come back like sheep.

This has been the most insulting, disrespectful and sexist campaign I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. And I can’t reward bad behavior…I would be setting a horrible example for my children, if I kept quiet and except this knock down on everything I’ve work so hard to overcome.

ROE vs Wade was about Women having control of their own body and once again we have been regulated to the kitchen to serve the men folks. Who will decide on our destiny because we’re not smart enough to be fully respected as equals.

  70. also carby,

we could give hill all the money in the world, and it wont do what we want to do, which is to put out a absolutely visible statement that not only hillary and america can read, but one that the superdelegates will also have to read…

she cant put it out herself, if people really feel that strongly about, that they would put out an ad, someone better see we mean business…

well if worse comes to worse, we can find out how the ladies did it on usa today….

anyone in touch with these ladies?

  71. confloyd Says:

    May 26th, 2008 at 4:28 pm
Carby, we need to do it because thats the rag everyone read!
    *****************************************************
Why because everybody tells you they read that RAG, not where I’m from. I would rather donate the money to Hillary then to give it to the NY times.

    Gag me!!

  72. WHY would you ASSUME the MSM media would report about the open letter for Hillary to stay in the race, since they’re in the TANK for Obambi?

  73. I’m not in touch with the USA Today ladies, but I do think it’s a good idea to seek them out. We don’t have time to reinvent the bicycle, so as long as there are like-minded people out there who have already done what we’re trying to do, I say we should bring them on board.

  74. from no quarter:

Looks like Barack Obama ignored another constituency when the cameras weren’t rolling. And now Democrats will have to pay. This is why we must nominate Hillary Clinton, our only chance to beat John McCain in the fall.

Below is a Commercial made by Republican 527 Vets for Freedom Political Action Committee. In it, an Iraq combat veteran from Illinois discusses how he and 12 other combat veterans were unable to meet with Barack Obama. This vet wants to know why it is that Barack Obama is willing to meet with despots and terrorist leaders but not with Generals or combat veterans. He wants to know how it is that Barack Obama is so smart about the Middle East when he hasn’t even been there during his two and a half years in the Senate.

“If Barack Obama won’t listen to us, who will he listen to?”

  75. carby, you sound like me, the young women who did not struggle the same as we did, have I feel, deserted us in our time of need. They did not carry the flag of equal rights and did not apparently read it or hear about from their mothers.

Personally, the young women who grew up with ProChoice and roe vs wade need to see how it feels to live without it. That’s one of the reason’s why I would after all this I would vote for the most Right Wing Evangelist candidate in history, so they could see the error in their ways. Of coarse we all know they are being tricked by the Obama campaign, because they don’t know he actually backed a candidate in Kenya that would have imposes Shria Law. So that right there tells me what Obama thinks of women.

How could any American back a candidate like that? No one seems to remember when we went to Afganistan and just days before we came in they were executing women on the soccer field for sport!

  76. well frankly, i dont care which letter it goes in, and i am not looking for msn or anyother station to report on it, cause that wont happen.

on the other hand, in the newspaper, its out of their hands in millions of others in america, no thanks to media…

the ladies that did it in usa today, got alot of air time from that ad…

  77. jen i will write an email to them, will you as well? we can say we are looking for information, and would like to know how its done, if we dont feel we could do it on our own we could look for their help.

    whats your thinking?

  78. This is New Mexico’s Week.

    McCain came for Memorial Day

Obama to appear in Las Cruces, they did not go for him, so no wonder he changed it from a town hall, as I don’t think he can handle them. He bearly one the others (He Should have gone to Santa Fe). Doesn’t that invitation only sound like Bush?????

Michaelle is going to be her for the Women’s convention next week (We talked about a protest, but decided it was not worth it).

Chelsea will be here for the Women’s convention next week also. I plan to attend.

  79. skmf12, if they will help us that would be great. They have a contribution already up and going. Maybe we could ask them to run an ad for us and we give them the money for it!

  80. NewMexicoFan, I am sure he changed it so the SD’s would not figure out that noone came to see him! ROTFLMAO!!!

  81. neetabug Says:

GREAT IDEA CONFLOYD AND JUSTMEINMOUNTDORAFF !!!

let me know where to contribute for the ad…

I will be happy to contribute also.

I am here in Cali visiting my son and grandson., His wife aunt came over Sunday. First thing she started talking about was Hillary and the RK comment. She assumed i was for O, I let her have it. I told her if it is between O and McCain, I said i would vote McCain. I will just have to suffer the next four years before i vote for O. My daughter in law told her she was talking to a serious Hillary supporter, and for her not to mention anything negative around me about Hillary
    She became very quiet

  82. okay, i just shot them an email, asking for information and suggestions.
it took only minutes, could we have others send off a short letter stating same, that way, they will know we are serious, and there is a show of interest…

if someone else could ask about networking with them, that would be good. otherwise i will do it k?

  83. Neetabug, glad to see your having a nice holiday. I have to admit that your story does remind me of the civil war era. Think about kinfolk against kinfolk, friend against friend! That’s what this primary has turned in to.
I see as time goes on it only gets worse, and asking anyone to get out of the race would throw this thing into riots. The DNC made their bed and now that have to lay in it!
I don’t know the answer, but I can tell, I will not sit down for this one. I am going to Denver and am planning my own protest. I have asked my co workers to start a fund to get me out of jail because I am willing to do what ever it takes to have my voice heard!

  84. skmf12, I am as serious about as a heart attack, I think there is a group getting together to protest as we speak!

  85. Oprah Feels Negative Effects of Associating with Barack Obama, from the NYT:

    —–

    May 26, 2008
    A Few Tremors in Oprahland
    By EDWARD WYATT

LOS ANGELES — Oprah Winfrey is still the queen of all media, but her crown is beginning to look a bit tarnished.

The average audience for “The Oprah Winfrey Show” has fallen nearly 7 percent this year, according to Nielsen Media Research — its third straight year of decline. “Oprah’s Big Give,” an ABC philanthropic reality show, beat every program on television except “American Idol” in its premiere week this winter, but steadily lost nearly one-third of its audience during the rest of its eight-week run, according to Nielsen.

The circulation of O, The Oprah Magazine, has fallen by more than 10 percent in the last three years, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, and the magazine is now seeking a new editor in chief after the announced retirement of its longtime steward, Amy Gross.

And while Ms. Winfrey still displays a Midas touch when it comes to the endorsement of books and products, some of her latest picks have attracted criticism from longtime fans as she has strayed into new-age spiritualism and, perhaps more dangerously, politics. Her endorsement of the presidential bid of Senator Barack Obama appears to have alienated some of the middle-aged white women who make up the bulk of her television audience, many of whom support Senator Hillary Clinton.

“Not too long ago, she was like the pope,” rarely criticized by her ardent supporters, said Janice Peck, an associate professor of mass communication at the University of Colorado and the author of “The Age of Oprah,” a new book on Ms. Winfrey’s cultural influence.

Since the endorsement, however, angry criticism of her political stance became a regular feature of the message boards on Oprah.com, Ms. Peck said. “There are a lot of her fans who are not Democrats or who support Hillary Clinton who feel betrayed,” she added.

  86. One reason I feel so strongly is Bambi’s connections to the world of terrorists, communists and outright haters of white people.
I would not care if this were purely political and we as a country would be OK if either of them gets the nomination, but in my heart of hearts I don’t.
I will vote for McCain, but still don’t want to, I will just for spite against the DNC for giving us such a candidate!

  87. hi hillfans. i hope everyone is having a great weekend. any new polls out of puerto rico? hillary is recived well down there. hopefully she can build on her popular vote totals there.

  88. berkerly vox, it is little wonder why oprah has not been heard from in months. she knows a vast majority of her female base slammed her when she endorsed obama. but not so much endorsed her but totally shunned hillary. it is not bad enough these so called clinton fans are endorsing hillary but they trash hillary at the same time that has me burning. everyone has a right to endorse whom they want. it is the turncoats and disloyal UNENDORSING THAT IS SO ENRAGING.

  89. okay, sorry to have to do this to you, but i will, its memorial day, and this letter by a black woman serving in the military, is just beautiful, and so very well written, i have to post it…

    ==============================================
    Democratic Storm Warnings
The first in an ongoing series on voter dissatisfaction.

    guest post by Patsy

Let me introduce myself. I am 29 year old female serving in the United States Army. I am black. I am proud. And I am a supporter of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

We have seen daily how Senator Clinton moves forward to speak for our loved ones, our families and our friends, despite the constant call for her to step down. She has gone forward despite the obstacles in her path and she has continued to fight. To attempt to destroy the reputation, the name of the former First Lady and Senator by falsely portraying her supporters as racist is one of the worst mistakes of the 2008 election process. To use the the history and the struggles in the black community to destroy another person’s political career is the worst form of politics imaginable.

The media is slowly destroying the black community with their words. MSNBC should fire Keith Olbermann and let him return to being a radio sportscaster. They are ripping the Democratic Party apart and they are dividing this nation. Any sane, reasonable and coherent person can see that the cries of “racism” are their attempts to get Senator Clinton to leave this race. By any means necessary. Therefore any sane, reasonable and coherent person watching this debacle is going to resent what is happening, because anyone can see that Senator Clinton is being railroaded.

African Americans are not in any way stupid. If we believed that there was this level of racial discourse as these pundits make it out to be we would be marching on Washington D.C. But now we can only watch in horror as the media destroys our history. The only ones who are “outraged” are those who have no idea of true racial hatred.

How many black civil rights leaders have you seen in the media, on NBC, MSNBC, and CNN, that have stated that the former President and First Lady are racists? None. But we should believe analysts such as David Gergen, commentators such as Keith Olbermann and reporter Andrea Mitchell who get on television and tell you so? On 27 April, “Meet the Press” NBC reporter Andrea Mitchell boldly stated that racism was a “real factor” in the Obama vote on the ground in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Apparently because many voters are racist they have a “willingness to believe totally erroneous things about Senator Obama,” like he didn’t put his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance. So my next question is, where is the evidence for the “I vote for Senator Clinton and I am racist who clings to my gun and bible” scientific poll to determine who is racist or who is not? So the next time the Obama campaign gives you talking points make sure you understand what you’re reading and saying before you open your mouth and say it.

For those of you who don’t know, there is a movement happening behind the scenes and it’s one that is moving fast and one that is strong. It was born from watching this historic election with our nation having its first viable female contender for the position of Commander in Chief take hit after hit, day after day, while she attempts to fight for the heart and soul of the Democratic Party, when the party in question will not stand up and fight for her.

It was born from watching the little girls with big dreams, and those that are already living the American dream. It came from the mothers who can barely make ends meet and do without just so their families can barely get by. It’s from the blue collar workers who just lost their jobs. It was born from the heroes and sheroes deploying to the same place year after year with no end in sight. It came from the ones who want to give up, but find a way to keep on going. It started from the ones who have been constantly knocked down, but keep getting back on their feet. It came from those moving forward that never look back.

We all have a dream of change. A change that will put our nation back on the right path. Where putting the safety of our country is the first and foremost priority. Where people would stand up and fight for what they believe in. Where cries of racism is not the way nor the means to achieve a goal. Where the media reports news instead of their biased opinion. Where it’s OK to vote on who is best to lead our country based on a candidate’s experience.

The 2008 primary and general election is historic for many reasons. It’s the chance of having either the first female or black president. But the most important aspect and notable accomplishment for me will be the official date, the official time, the exact moment the Democratic Party died for me.

The party I thought I knew ceased to exist the moment, the minute and the second they allowed the first most qualified female presidential candidate in our nation’s history to be attacked, destroyed, and ripped apart, which reached a tipping point this weekend. As of 24 May 2008 0930hrs, I no longer belong to the Democratic Party. I will no longer be affiliated with any group or group(s), person or person(s), that would allow a party member to be falsely accused of allegations that bears no relevance or has no relationship to the situation at hand. I will not be part of a party that utilizes character assassination to achieve a goal. I will not quietly sit by and watch the destruction of my chosen candidate. I will not support, vote, or show any loyalty to those who sit quietly aside and allow this to be played out in the court of public opinion. The Party I once knew I know no longer. Today I turn my back on the Democratic Party, because by allowing the falsehoods against Hillary Clinton to be embellished as they have the Democratic Party has turned its back on me.

  90. Re the idea about a big ad to address the super d’s… something like this?

You know Hillary is the electable candidate.
You know she has a far superior resume for the job, and the people are with her.
You know Obama is not qualified to be president of the USA
Knowing all you really know, if you don’t make her the nominee, there is something really rotten in the state of the Democratic Party,
The people can show you we are greater than the party. We would rather see the party destroyed than corrupt.
Therefore, if Hillary is not the one, there will be huge numbers of Democrats voting, not just for McCain, but for a straight Republican ticket in November.

  91. hillfans, as an african-american this is tragic. before this year bill clinton was not liked by afican-americans, HE WAS LOVED!! now after big media and obama got done with him i would have came to this planet today and hear big media, you would though he and hillary are george WALLACE/david DUKE. tragic and a damn shame. the clintons did so much for african americans and 90% of them just turned their backs on them. well, i am part of the 10% that is sticking with hillary. they imply racism if 65% of whites vote for hillary but it is ok when 90% of blacks vote for obama! GIMME A F#CKING BREAK!

  95. DIJA,

    you agree?
    omg, its perfect…
    it says everything….

i have written an email to the women pac group, waiting to hear back.
    i will keep on them…
can you copy and save and we can present it as ‘THE LETTER’ ?

    WHAT DO YOU THINK?

  96. Admin:

    Great video

    skmf12:

We need to distribute that letter by Patsy. That really gets the point across and it comes from a very important voice, that of an African-American woman serving in the armed services.

  97. Just think, if Hillary was a man, with the experience she has, do you really think there would anyone saying she would not be the best candidate, absolutely not. THey would be behind this candidate with money and support!

YOU can bet you boots there is a big backlash coming against the media!!

  98. SKMF

yes i agree, and can copy and save it for later use 😀

paul i agree……we need to hit every blog with it!

  99. paul,

so glad you agree, we have a question for you…
we have been talking about taking out a full page ad, like the woman pac did, in a paper like usa today, we think this letter would be just so impressive, it says it all for us, what do you think?

  100. Patsy posts on TM, so her permission should be sought. She seems like a great person, and a wonderful support for Hillary.

  101. OKAY,

so i realize this is a holiday, so we can revisit this idea during the week…

    just to recap:

we wanted to do an open letter in a major newspaper, a full page ad. one that not just hillary can read, but one that the superdelegates and the dnc, along with pelosi and friends could read.

that would basically, state our committment to hillary staying in the race to the very end, and our committment to the dnc and superdelegates, that we are serious about defecting to mccain, if obama is the candidate this novemeber.

we talked about the nyt, and after some examination found it to be too expensive. someone suggested that we cotact the womans pac and ask for their assistance.
i have mad a first overture, waiting to see what comes of it…

talked about raising money here at 44 and possibly at noquarter and at taylor marsh for ad…
decided the good far outwayed any consideration of raising same money for hillary campaign, as it will be for her benefit and ours.

we have seen the letter by patsy, that was posted at taylor marsh, and copied here, and have a hope that everyone will find the letter as perfect as we do…

the letter ideally, would be posted on full page AD, done in one of two ways.
1- it would be printed as open letter in regular type, followed by many names of hillary supporters from all fifty states, filling the page, just like the vietnam vet wall, with the many many names.
2- we could have just the letter in large and bold type..
    or
3- in the event patsy is not willing, or we are overruled, we could do just the simple statement and followed by hundreds of signatures…

i have to work tomorrow, so i wont be able to discuss till i come home.
if anyone is interested in the idea, and would like to go ahead and run it by everyone, that would be fantastic…

    is that about right?

  102. yeah bill, your right, they are afraid she will win, and she is close! you can depend the republicans and their media will also get in on the act very soon.

  103. skmf12 Says:
“jen i will write an email to them, will you as well? we can say we are looking for information, and would like to know how its done, if we dont feel we could do it on our own we could look for their help.
    whats your thinking?”

I was eating dinner and couldn’t answer your post until now. But yes, I will contact the NOW pac.

I also read Patsy’s letter and I think it’s perfect. If she agrees, I think we should use this letter for the ad.

I’ll go write to NOW now.

  104. Hey everyone – I have to admit that what was posted above from skm12 is not what I had in mind. I think what we should do is have an ad with an open letter to Hillary with the goal of reaching as many people as possible hence either ny times or usa today. The goal of this letter is to share with the audience why Hillary is in it to win and why she is the stronger candidate we should load it with facts with the purpose of stating that Hillary is electable should we want to have a democrat in the white house I don’t think we should tlk about obama or deflecting to mccain bec this can only end up hurting the purpose of the letter. We should also incorporate the need of florida and michigan in this letter.

  105. Just a suggestion re: Patsy’s letter

Get her permission, then forward to the email address of those ads in USA Today WomenCount PAC.

They have the resources to run the ads, and what better ad than that of a female African-American member of the armed services? That carries more weight than anyone I can think of.

I would contact that organization since they are already running ads.

  106. skmf12:

I think using that brave young woman’s — Patsy’s — letter would make for a fantastic ad. It is perfect.

In an era when all it seems that black Democratic voices have to look forward to is being “John Lewis”-ed, a woman like Patsy is invaluable.

We have to meet the thugs head-on. Patsy is, and can be, an important part of fighting back against Barack’s racial terrorists.

    Go for it.

We need more Patsies, and Greg Williamses (the man who can be seen in my “The Obama Cult (Ruby Ridge Remix)” video starting at around 7:29 in; see link below). The media — under the direction of Barack Hussein and his George Wallace racial stormtroopers (Michelle Bernard: “There Will Be Race Riots in the Street,” anyone?) — is drastically disintegrating racial relations in this country, and neither they nor Obama gives two sh*ts about it except to get Bambi into office.

It is a crime what is happening, and it needs to be stopped, now. The RFK horsesh*t is the latest example. Hussein and his posse not only don’t want a “Kumbaya” denouement with the ‘North’ they have started the 2008 Democratic Civil War against, they are looking for their next opening to toss another Malatov.

This is war, and having a real-life, African-American soldier such as Patsy as a point woman in our struggle against Hussein’s reign of racial tyranny is definitely a wise move.

    Great work, skmf12

  107. Amen to Bill Clinton’s comments. None of us have ever witnessed the disrespect to any candidate that chose to run for the presidency until now. No candidate has ever been badgered to quit like she has.

The Democratic Party of the People no longer exists. Hillary Clinton is like a woman without a Party, just like we 17 million citizens are residing in a nation that we no longer feel a part of or have a sense of belonging to. What’s wrong with this picture? EVERYTHING. We won’t be intimidated or bullied by threats of violence in Denver. It’s time to walk shoulder-to-shoulder, stand up for Florida and Michigan where it counts. If that means on the floor of the convention, so be it.

WE WOMEN should DEMAND that Florida and Michigan presidential primaries be placed on their August ballots, since BHO wouldn’t agree to a revote a couple of months back. Let’s stand up and be counted. We will not shut up, and you will not silence us. And “wonk” – heads up, I personally am very close to the Chief Homicide Detective, just so you know. No intimidation, threats or bullying will deter any of us.

  108. RE: justmeinmountdorafl

I hear what your saying….and i some what agree but not totally..

There are so many things that NEED to be said and the list is long…..I think we all will agree on that!!

We can and will do an ad…..it’s with in OUR POWER!

The real question here is can we say it all in one ad? or do we need to be more focused on one or two specific things?
and if so…..which brings us to question #2….what will be the Main focus of our Ad?

Perhaps, the compromise is to not use this letter above in whole….or as the person wrote it, but to be selective
With parts of it, and work it into an entirely new letter of our own…

I am not entirely certain that we should leave out the part of being to the breaking point with the Dem party.
But on the other hand……..do we really want to sound like we are black mailing the DNC as if we are saying we
Too will riot……. I just don’t think that we should convey that kind of message in connection with hillary Clintons campaign
IMHO…….as much as I would love to scream we will riot…..we shouldn’t ……We need to stay above that fray.

NOW I WANT YOU ALL TO THINK ABOUT SOMETHING……

This forum is trolled 24/7……… we need to keep our talks on this private!!!
We should not give any HEADS UP and in turn give BO camp or MSM opportunity to prepare.

If you agree with me then ….

I have set up a sight for those who want to go to Denver and coordinate ride shares
Motel etc together….. I offer it up to those here who wish to discuss in private
    About writing a letter/AD etc…

You will need to email me privately at luvcowboys63@yahoo.com (my throw away email account so don’t bother with me bots)

And I will then confirm who you are in order to send you a private invite to join
    The group

  109. I think we should think about just focusing on WHY Hillary needs to be our candidate (we can subtly imply that there will be a serious deflection should Hillary not be our candidate by indicating that DNC appears to have an agenda of their own that does not include the hardcore of DNC’s base)

  110. You know we could do more than one ad. We could title them Bloggers for Hillary want you to know.

    Space them out a little.

How much do these ads cost. Does anyone know?

  111. Isn’t that typical? Howie Kurz finally does a fluffish expose of misogyny just as the nomination battle seems to be winding down unless HRC takes it to the convention.

F**K him and all the media pimps. I am FURIOUS! That’s one of the reasons I don’t post much anymore. I hate the thought of interfering with anyone else’s optimism. But I’m STILL hopeful HRC will go to Denver.

In the meantime, it just occurred to me that on a subconscious level perhaps the all-male lynch mob is particularly enamored of a presidential candidate whose cousin rules a country in which women are totally subservient and, if Odinga has his way, will be reduced to ‘property’ staus under Sharia law. Just wondering. 👿

  112. thank you, carol costello.

long before it became fashionable to denounce “W” and cheney, you were there with your lively early am reports from CNN atlanta HQ. i’m sure it cost you in the long run as you were quickly shared and displaced by the likes of “little-man-anderson”. glad to see you back and not missing a beat. glad to see at least one journalist i can still rely on.

  113. We could call the ads Hillary Blogger count.

Obama is definitely sexists. You can tell he really hates when she one ups him.

  114. I can tell in one sentence why I want Hillary to win: She is the only one that cares if we get universal healthcare!
We can have a thousand 1sentence sentences why we want Hillary!

  115. Footnote:
(You know me and my conspiracy theories) 😳
I sometimes wonder if Rap with its sexist misogynistic lyrics (which MOST younger people take as ‘the norm) wasn’t promoted SPECIFICALLY to diminish women nation-wide, not only within the culture that listens and dances to it but by the execs, the power-players, the military-media-entertainment complex, as a way to gradually revoke women’s rights and usger in a new regime of gender oppression as exists throughout the MUSLIM world! Just saying.
Ladies, let’s take an informal poll. how many of you are Appalled at the thought of FMG?
Men, how many of you know exactly what that means?
And yes, that practice is alive and well in kenya. And Waffles supports the cousin who wants to reimpose sharia law. I don’t know about the rest of you but that scares the PANTS off me.

  116. I hope the letter will make it clear that it isn’t just Obama, the MSM and the Dems’ treatment of Hillary (which is horrendous and a real character failing of Obamas) that has made our mind up.

It is all the other character flaws, the lies, the inexperience that has convinced us he is unacceptable for President. AND we resent the party and the press that has distorted and covered up the truth to try to make us believe that he should have our votes.

BTW, has any reporter just asked Obama or Michele if she spoke at church using the term ‘Whitey”?

  117. Maybe she should be asked. So that if and when they pull that out, they will have that footage on file.

  118. Let me just make one point clearer, for those who won’t have the chance to watch the “The Obama Cult (Ruby Ridge Remix)” video, don’t know who Greg Williams is, etc.

Greg Williams is an African-American man who chose to rise above the corrosive racial rhetoric and violence which followed the 1992 acquittal of 4 police officers who (sickeningly) beat Rodney King. Many of the international readers of Big Pink likely don’t know about this important moment in American history.

Instead of giving himself a free pass to descend into the “Heart of Darkness” madness which consumed much of LA for 6 days following the officers’ jury trial, Williams selflessly put his own life on the line for Japanese-American motorist Takao Hirata. Hirata had been assaulted while still in his vehicle by an angry mob armed with ‘bottles and metal rods.’

In rising above the Hitler-esque ‘racial solidarity’ Armageddon which toxically fueled the riots, Williams became an Amercian hero who championed everything which MLK believed in and which would have been considered soft by the likes of pre-Mecca Malcolm X and vermin like William Ayers.

    *

Here is the absolutely critical point to understand in what Patsy is courageously standing up for, and what Williams put his life on the line for:

Real people, actual human beings, die and are maimed for life because of the kind of hateful, divisive rhetoric which is being advanced by Barack Hussein Obama and his Brownshirts. Ask Takao Hirata, or Fidel Lopez. Ask Reginald Denny.

Now James Clyburn won’t get hurt in rioting. Nor will Doug Wilder, or Michelle Bernard. They will be safe in their TV studios and Congressional offices.

So they don’t give a f*ck about Takao Hirata, Fidel Lopez or Reginald Denny.

All they care about is playing on black anger and using the worst stereotypes imaginable to try to scare the white pansy elite of the Dem. Party to do what they want, or else.

This is reckless almost beyond comprehension, and is totally unconscionable. And it is why I will never in my life vote for Barack Obama, much as I would not have voted for George Wallace.

    *

People ask me why I have included the leader of The Third Reich in my “The Cult of Obama” video. Same with David Koresh. You know, isn’t that a little over the top?

No, it’s not. And that’s the point.

What is being done — and particularly to those African-Americans who refuse to drink the Obama Kool-Aid, like Sheila Jackson-Lee — to millions of Americans in Obama’s name is the kind of thing which would have made Der Fuehrer smile. And it is being done with a level of devotion that Koresh or Jim Jones would have demanded.

What the Obamans are doing is beyond disgraceful. It is a frontal assault on what America stands for and what she has sent millions of her sons and daughters to fight and die for. We honor those sacrifices today, on Memorial Day.

This is a Civil War which we — the majority of the Party who has refused to back this race-baiter — did not seek. It was brought to our front door.

Like Patsy and Greg Williams, however, we will answer the call and repel the forces of Barack Hussein Obama and his racial terrorists.

For our party and for all of those whose sacrifice we honor today.

For, my brothers and sisters, America.

  119. Not for the squeamish, but a discussion of kenya and FMG.

In 1998 a study concluded that half of all women over 35 and a slightly less number of those under 19 had been forced to undergo the procedure.

THIS is in KENYA! Waffles cousin Odonga’s country! The country Waffles claims as his nation of birth!

  121. Last one, i promise.

From wikipedia. Guess Odinga and Waffles share more than just blood ties. They also practice similar campaign tactics.

‘On December 30, 2007, the chairman of the Kenyan election commission controversially declared Raila’s opponent, incumbent president Kibaki, the winner of the presidential election by a margin of about 230,000 votes. Raila has challenged the results, alleging fraud by the election commission but has refused an election petition before the courts. Independent international observers have since stated that the poll was marred by irregularities on both sides, especially at the final vote tallying stages.[1] Many Kenyans across the country protested against the announced election results.’

  122. I read at NO QUARTER that BO had picked up 9 SD this weekend…is that correct? Wonder who they are and what states they are from? Are these more of the bunch BO had in his pocket to dole out at times beneficial to him or to distract from Hillary? Is Axelrod and Co. trying to show that the SD’s are so upset with the made up Robert Kennedy thing that they went for BO?? Sorry, not buying it.

  123. Terrondt
hillfans, as an african-american this is tragic. before this year bill clinton was not liked by afican-americans, HE WAS LOVED!! now after big media and obama got done with him i would have came to this planet today and hear big media, you would though he and hillary are george WALLACE/david DUKE. tragic and a damn shame. the clintons did so much for african americans and 90% of them just turned their backs on them. well, i am part of the 10% that is sticking with hillary. they imply racism if 65% of whites vote for hillary but it is ok when 90% of blacks vote for obama! GIMME A F#CKING BREAK!
    ——————————————————————————————
I agree with you 100%. I hate the way the Barack’O campaign and Big Media destroyed the Clintons in this election. To Hell with them and I will never vote for that Hillary Hater/Race Baiter. NEVER!!!!

  125. universal,

I liked the Waffles cult video. I think a longer documentary illustrating the similarities between the Hitler propaganda machine and Waffles big Brother strategy would be fascinating and illuminating.

  126. As for asking Michelle about the “whitey” tape…why can’t a reporter just ask BO about it? Why not? But can’t you just hear his wiggling and squirming around to dodge the question like some sort of rattlesnake?

If there were some video out there featuring Bill or Chelsea saying such racist things, you can bet by now Hillary would have been pounded into the ground with questions about it.

Do you suppose the media realizes the damage they are doing to the Dem. Party? This is not the same old, same old from years past elections. This time, the chickens won’t come home to roost and many will cross over for good. Has there ever been a time anyone can remember when a third party was so needed and wanted by so many?

  127. Basil:

Raila Odinga — Obama’s cousin and the man whom Barack personally campaigned for, lent his (Barack’s) visage for Odinga’s campaign materials and whom Dick “I suck whores toes” Morris was dispatched to help win his bid — has been accused of ethnic cleansing and genocide by the Kenyan government.

    See for yourself:

    http://www.africanpress.wordpress.com/2008/01/11/the-kenya-government-accuses-raila-odinga-of-genocide-and-ethnic-cleansing/

This is a man whom Obama actively campaigned for.

Remember when Obama was being trumped-up for his ‘judgment?’

    Raila Odinga.

And when Odinga’s thugs went on their reign of terror, Babmi was totally impotent with meaningless phone calls to his cousin which didn’t keep hundreds from dying.

This is the man who wants to meet — without condition — with figures like Ahmadinejad and Kim Jong-Il.

Maybe he thinks his next “stop your thugs from killing hundreds” phone call will be more effective?

That this hasn’t been looked into more thoroughly, that this man can be this close to the White House at all, speaks to how derelict the media is and has been in an effort to foist this pretender on the American people.

It is a disaster, and one we are going to have to work very hard to stop.

  129. Universal,
yes, I am aware of the ‘ethnic’ cleansing, overseen by Dickie-boy Morris, which resulted in the slaughter of nearly 1,000 Christians. Waffles was in close contact with Raily-boy about this during the NH primary as I recall.

Forgive me for being selfish but, one of the PRIMARY reasons I detest Waffles, aside from his sexist, patriarchal, rap-thug attitude toward women is that he SUPPORTS a man who would inflict even greater oppression on Kenyan women from FMG, to sharia, to stripping of the few rights women there still possess.

If HRC supported a relative or friend who ruled a country where slavery was still legal, what do you think the reaction would be? 😈

  132. basil9, I am always looking on the conspiracy front. If you read Evelyn Pringle this corruption goes all the way to Bush. Wasn’t it several big shot Republicans that took a liking to Obama very quickly? I can’t remember which ones, I think one is Dick Durbin and he is named in the Daley political machine the “the combine”.
I find it equally funny that the republicans have raised on a tiny bit of money, while Hussein has raised a huge amount.
I think the republicans are in on this deal because of the media. I think they want Bambi to win to shut down the trial and digging deeper.
I think right now its funny theres a woman on the jury that keeps asking for days to shut the deliberations down. I wonder who she is and if she is black or knows Obama or is on the take.
Don’t worry about being laughed at about conspiracies, I am full of them!

Obama Excludes Military Service as Way to Serve Country in Memorial Day Weekend Commencement Speech

CNN correspondents thought it “strange” that Barack Obama’s Memorial Day commencement speech at Wesleyan University didn’t mention the military. Obama, who replaced the ailing Ted Kennedy as commencement speaker, encouraged graduates to serve, but not in the military. CNN correspondent Bill Schnider took notice:
    (transcript)

BLITZER: On this Memorial Day weekend, we’re remembering U.S. troops who have fallen in America’s various wars.
We’re also assessing right now what we just heard from Senator Barack Obama…..

    ……………..

BLITZER: He graduated from Harvard Law School, was editor of the Law Review. He could have gone to a Wall Street firm and made a ton of money or some other law firm. But instead he decided to become an organizer in the South Side of Chicago. He tells that story.

SCHNEIDER: He does. And it’s a place he never lived and he devoted himself to community service and now to national service. There was something, however, strange with this speech that could I point out. He talked about how to serve your community and your country. He talked about rebuilding places like New Orleans, about fighting poverty, energy, education. All the ways in which these young people could serve. But on Memorial Day weekend, I didn’t see anyplace in his prepared remarks — he hasn’t finished speaking — he didn’t say anything about military service. I thought that was strange on Memorial Day weekend.

BLITZER: Yes, you would think that on this Memorial Day weekend he’d be referring to that.

SCHNEIDER: He made one reference to the military and it’s interesting. He said, “at a time of war,” this is in his prepared remarks. “At a time of war, we need you to work for peace.” As far as I can tell in the prepared remarks, that’s the closest he comes to mentioning anything military.

Remember Obama’s refusal to wear a flag lapel?

REPORTER: “You don’t have the American flag pin on. Is that a fashion statement?”

OBAMA: “You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest.

“Instead, I’m going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism.”

Obama loves his wife and wears a wedding ring, why not wear a little flag on your lapel if you love your country?

Recall Obama’s refusal to put his hand over his heart during the national anthem at a Democratic function? The other Democratic candidates, including Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson and Joe Biden, all knew what to do (WARNING: terrible singing alert; turn down the volume)

What about Michelle Obama’s confession that her husband’s campaign is the first time she’d been proud of America her entire adult life?
Or Obama’s unpatriotic affiliation with his anti-American pastor Jeremiah Wright for 20 years?
    This is officially a pattern.

  134. Raila accused of genocide and ethnic cleansing? Is this real? Why is the government out now to connect this strong opposition leader with genocide and ethnic cleansing? Is the government covering something and now trying to pre-empt the fact that the international community may decide to accuse those in government of not doing their best to stop the violence that may qualify to be called genocide and ethnic cleansing?

It is the duty of the government to protect the people, no matter which tribe they belong. Did the government fail in that duty and now trying to push the blame on the opponents in an effort to tarnish their names? This is one thing that should be looked into. It is not a problem if leaders accuse one another of simple things, that is politics. However, genocide and ethnic cleansing is not one of those simple things that should be labeled on a person or persons without evidence, because it is a very serious offence that, if credible evidence is at hand, those involved must be arrested and tried by the International courts that handle such matters.

  135. basil

Thanks for the kind words. I would certainly be willing to work on such a video as you suggest. There is so much material from the Bambians to use.

I have already begun work on my next Bambi video.

There is so much which the American people need to see and hear about this fraud that the MSM is not telling them. It can be overwhelming to even think about taking on their Goebbels-like propaganda machine.

  137. WTF!!!!!
Where’s the rest of my post????
Sometimes I HATE this feature, especially when lines of text just disappear.

Confloyd, i was trying to respond to you but my answer was scubbed. Anyway, about the previous post, I was pointing out that Odinga and Waffles also have similar responses when anyone accuse them of anything.

    BLAME the OTHER GUY!!!!!! 😈

  138. Senator Clinton has a lot of military backing. What Military backing of Obama have you seen? I cannot remember any.

  139. Djia,
    excellent article and great poll.
    Confloyd,
D@mn, I’m so confused now about what did and didn’t post. The excerpt above is about Odinga being accused o genocide and ethnic cleansing. His response (the kenyan version of Waffle-speak) is that the OTHER guy (the government) is trying to CONFUSE and DISTRACT the citizens by placing blame on ODINGA”S shoulders.
You know; bamboozling, hoodwinking, blindsiding? Grrrrrrrrrrr

  140. The way I understand the visit, he is trying to grab this state. He lost the popular vote, but thinks he can gain it in a GE. The leadership has of course played the Judas Card here. He was suppost to have a town hall, and the blog said he cancelled, and it was an invite only.

Kerry, could not win here, and he never had a close rally that I can remember.

Maybe someone was going to ask him about the Whitey tape?

It is a bad omen if he can not even campaign in an open forum here.

  141. confloyd…… i am here, in and out anyways….. busy getting the hubby on the road and the son to his ride back to school

    anyways……

as for them just noticing obama’s allergies to anything patriotic goes….. i think “they all” have had blinders on, on purpose
I highly doubt anything about obama including the shit we don’t know yet is “unkown” to “them”

I would wager that the MSM, DNC, and even Hillary has had the most expensive investigations done on bambi and it probably began before 2004

  142. curiosity: Thank you very much. As I just told basil, more are on the way.

    *

basil: Those charges of ethnic cleansing and genocide against Odinga are (or at least were) very real. You don’t not stop your supporters from killing hundreds of your countrymen and think that the government is going to just forget about it.

The reason for the ethnic cleansing and genocide labels is because of Kenya’s tribal/ethnic makeup.

Odinga — like Obama — is Luo (the Luo make up, apparently, around 12% of the population of Kenya).

The reign of terror by Odinga’s thugs was committed against members of the Kikuyu ethnic group (the largest tribe in Kenya, approximately 21% of the country’s population {from what I read}).

So, there did seem to be an ethnic nature to the ‘cleansing,’ yes.

Here is some more info from a Kikuyu on what happened:

    http://www.kenyangenocide.blogspot.com/2008/01/why-william-ruto-and-raila-odinga-are.html

This person says that Human Rights Watch accused Obama’s cousin of actively participating in this violence/ethnic cleansing/genocide.

How much have we heard about this — about this Obama family member whom Obama PERSONALLY campaigned for – charge from Human Rights Watch?

    Nada.

And that is why we are boycotting them.

I promise you, basil, I will never make up anything that I say as regards Bambi. He has his hand in so much dirty stuff that there isn’t any reason to make things up. The truth is more than enough.

I’m going to step away for awhile and take care of some other things I need to do. Great talking with you all and let’s just keep on working to save our glorious Republic from the Bambi Anti-American cabal.

    Happy Memorial Day!

I even think Hillary might have a copy of the tape and I think they are trying to cover it up. They know it would be bad if the DNC knew about MO and still backed his nomination. This whole thing is very strange.
I can’t believe that everyone did not go out and buy all the tapes as soon as the first one appeared! Surely they did and Bambi probably quietly paying them off!

  144. djia,
Thing is, according to Pringle, Blagojevich, the Illinois governor, was supposed to have been the 2008 presidential nominee but when the operation Board games investigation heated up and many of his close associates were implicated, including Blagojevich, Waffles became the default candidate.

I agree the Illinois Combine candidate was intended as the Dem nominee but I’m not convinced it was supposed to have been Waffles.

    whaddaya think?

  145. confloyd…… this is politics!!

of course they have a doctrine on him……..they would need to know what they will have to fend off
in this election and “create the spin” in advance and have plans in place in order to act as quickly
and as stealthily has they have.

  146. There is one thing that is for sure, this campaign season is very strange at best. The republican side is no better, its just not making the news. John McCain is constantly changing campaign staff is what I am reading here and there. Red State abhores McCain and basically says he can’t win. I think they are wrong, I think he is a strong candidate and they just don’t like him because he is a maverick. I did read today on Redstate that they always lose when they have to go up against a bluedog. Hmmm, wonder what the elitest think about that? They say they always win against an elitest! LOL! We all know that, but Dumb DNC doesn’t!

  147. Universal,

    Gotta add one point:

DICKIE-BOY Morris, of the toe-sucker cult, you know, the nightly FOX
2- Minute- Hillary- Hate ritual (orwell even got the TIME right!)
was ADVISING Odinga to conduct a protest march ala MLK and THAT”S when the slaughter happened!

Dickie Toe-sucker never gave much thought to the fact that Kenyan crowd control isn’t quite on a par with that of the US. 👿

  148. basil….. I have read all that pringle has written

but obama was personally hand selected by Kerry and Dean back in 2004

to give that speech at the DNC that year………I think they have been planning on him for awhile now

perhaps it was supposed to be Blag….now and BO in 2016? but Blag is busted so they went with 2016 now

but i am sure they are very well aware of what they bought.

  149. Jade,

    Cool video.

But you’re preaching to the choir. 😉

i haven’t watched ANY TV (except for a couple of History TV shows) for almost 2 weeks and I feel SOOOOOOO much better!

Nest thing is to BOYCOTT BM sponsors products!

  150. djia,

that’s what i think. Waffles was being groomed for either 2012 or 2016. I have to reread some of the parts I skimmed over.

i agree he was hand-picked for the 2004 convention speech.

  151. I’m in. OHHHH, please, let me do a graphic of a memorial like the Viet Nam wall and with all our names on it; it costs no more to have graphics than it does to have text; color is very expensive. I can make it where I can email it to whatever paper we choose. The first step might be to price full page ads in papers; however, if possible I think it should be theNYT because that is our Hillary’s home state for her senate seat and they might like that. This graphic could be a masthead at the top of the open letter. Send me your names at my email:

    floridademandsrepresentation@gmail.com

While he was in the Navy, my son visited the VietNam memorial and said, “Mom, you would not believe how it is a solace to the families. There was one soldier’s name that was near an opening/crack in the memorial and the mother had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in a baggie with a note saying it was her son’s favorite sandwich.” Still makes me cry. Friends and neighborhood boys names are on that wall.

  152. basil9, I really think Blog was supposed to be the guy too as you say Bambi had to take his place. Bill and Hill are on the outside of this though.
DO you really think the DNC knew about Ayers, Odinga, Davis and all the maxist stuff. Why would they promote a guy like this for the Presidency, I think they really wanted Blog. They did not have time to completely check Bambi out!

  153. DJIA,

SORRY, i was out to dinner…
    OKAY EXCELLENT IDEA…
thank you for offering this site to talk about the AD…

    luvcowboys63@yahoo.com

    this is callled ‘SELF HELP’…
we can and will take matters into our own hands. i believe we know whats best for hillary now. she needs a public statement by her supporters, that will speak to not only her, but to the DNC,
and THE SUPERDELEGATES, and TO THE OTHER FAITHFUL DEMOCRATS AND UNDECIDEDS, who dont know what to think, and are looking for answers, or ‘ SELF HELP’, for hillary…

SELF HELP=WHAT WE OURSELVES CAN DO TO HELP THE SITUATION…

so the question is what? with who? and how, and how much?

so far i have some interested in discussing the project:

need to know whether we are going to put forward ‘the letter’ by patsy, as i must email her.
infact i will do it anyway, cause she would be a great addition..

    okay?

  154. confloyd……..if they didn’t know ahead of time (which i highly doubt)

then the next questions is…….why do they continue to support BO and protect him if they are just learning about him now ?

why not seat the FL and MI delegates in full and help Hillary Clinton??????

  155. skmf,

Please add me, too!!!! You can contact me through hillbilly’s site.

I sometimes post at TM under another name and I’ve responded to Patsy a number of times.

She doesn’t know me ‘personally’ but she’s probably seem my moniker over there.

Do you want me to give her a shout-out? (will check in tomorrow)

  156. another question….

super delegates are still Endorsing him even after truths have come out………super delegates are endorsing against their constituency’s where hillary has won their state by 41%!! ……………after TRUTH has come out.

    what does that say???

  157. basil9

    JADE!

Sometimes i’m so stinking CARELESS! I hadn’t seen the entire clip when I posted and it’s way more cool than I thought!

    ————————————————————————————————-

That’s okay. It is a great Video in it’s entirety. I haven’t been watching CNN or MSNBC because I hate when they bash Hill. I’m getting ready to leave Fox alone as well since Dickie Boy Morris seems to be in their lineup regularly.

  158. If they handpicked BO in 2004 to give that speech at the convention…they had plans for him then. But this is 2008…they had at least THREE YEARS to check ol BO out.

Do you think they thought they could ram through that hope and change mess like they were a few months ago and no one would really check him out before he sealed the nomination? They had the media in their pockets, big money coming from God know where, the leaders of the Dem party pushing BO all the way.

  159. dija, it says bought and paid for or big time guilt. Something nasty and vile is surely going on Chicago style behind the scenes.

  160. basil,

GOOD! GOOD! you are invaluable… thanks…

listen i left a message for ‘patsy’ thru webmaster at taylors, but i dont know patsy personally, if you have a better way to talk to her, let me know k? she would be good in the project, whether we use the letter or not…

also i’ve never gone to hillbillys, how do i get you there?

  161. dija, Anyway I think they are strong arming quiet a few people. We know that did strong are Lewis. If they would do this, why wouldn’t they do it to others?
If this combine is deep and wide, maybe they have something on some of them. Maybe they just want to be with the winning ticket come August. WHo knows why they are supporting the fool, but they are and its seems absolutely crazy that they would after finding out all of the crap on him. They had to know that the republicans would bring it up. It feels like a set up on both sides for very differents reasons. The commonality would be MONEY!

  162. dija, I just hope we all find out before our country is in the hands of this man. God knows what he could implement? This is and has been surreal. Most of the time the media wants a story and it makes no difference who it is on. Not now, and that scares me, what about you?

  163. Maybe just maybe its a concerted effort from both sides to keep Hillary out. You know the “boys club”. They also know she would leave no stone unturned if there were knee deep corruption on both sides. They just know she would sit idley by while they ravaged the pensions of working Americans!

  164. Confloyd said, “It feels like a set up on both sides for very different reasons.” I keep thinking about what someone said her a few months ago or so…after BO was elected to the Senate, supposedly Bush and Cheney along with Rove invited just him over for a lunch. Afterward, Bush’s comment was something like, My, you are an articulate fellow. For some reason that has always been in the back of my mind.

Maybe Rove and Rep saw the potential then of BO and how they could use him to beat Hillary…just another theroy. Who knows and we will probably never know the real truth.

  165. southern born, confloyd…..et all

universal has brought up “trilateral commission” in a few of his posts…. and he is right on!!!

I believe this is not about the “dem party” backing obama, I have researched “trilateral” “bilderberg group” “NWO” “skill and bones” many of those members of all those groups
(not sure exactly how they are all inter related, but they are) but have found many of them are not only backing obama but
are in his closest positions in his campaign……and YES THEY ARE DEMOCRAT ELITES

I don’t think this is about the democrat party but something Much Much much bigger than the party. IMHO

  166. I have contacted someone important and asked if that group might
sponsor our ad – keep your fingers crossed. It may just be too much money for one entity, wishing and hoping and thinking and praying…….
    did I say HOPE?

  167. as some know i am from the machinist union, whom i might add, has supported hillary full force…
but here is another AMAZING LETTER, from a union person, who has joined the fight, and resigned out of principle…
    from noquarter:
    =====================================================

To: CSEA Association President; Rob Feckner,
    Executive Director; Bud Dougherty

Effective May 1, 2008, as matter of principle, I am resigning from CSEA as President of Chapter 645 and as a CSEA union member.

My reason for this principled decision is because I can’t support or work on behalf of a union that allows and condones bigotry and racist remarks by Keynote Speakers and does not publically and forcefully correct the error when brought to the Presidents’ attention.

On Tuesday April 29th, a paid CSEA keynote speaker by the name of Lee Mun Wah, gave a presentation to the assembled members of CSEA. Throughout Lee Mun Wah’s presentation of “multi-cultural diversity,” he repeatedly blamed European white males for the suffering of others.

In addition, I understand CSEA has not endorsed a presidential candidate, but permitted the Keynote Speaker, Lee Mun Wah, to use the CSEA platform to, by his words, endorse a presidential candidate, Senator Barack Obama, defending hate speech by Senator Barak Obama’s spiritual mentor Reverend Wright, while denigrating the other two candidates.

I, sir, am a white male of Scottish heritage and personally had absolutely nothing to do with the imprisoning of Japanese American’s during WWII, or the death of Lee Mun Wah’s mother, or ANY of the racist examples he put forth. I will not be associated with an organization that permits the use of “white guilt,” calls me a bigot or ANY other form of racism and does nothing to address it.

I cannot stand by while a photo of the jet crashing into the World Trade Towers is used for marketing purposes in describing a “stereotypical” group of younger people. Among the many innocent lives to perish, I had friends die in that building that day, on 9/11/01. How dare CSEA use that tragic event, in the manner it did.

Nor can I condone, when a training “skit” is used to depict a registered Republican and a member of CSEA listening to the members of the audience laugh in condemnation, and so such disrespect. It saddens me that the CSEA leadership shows the same indifference, lack of respect and in-sensitivity for CSEA members,. that Lee Mun Wah showed. I expressed my views to CSEA leadership and was ignored. Your lack of response to my serious concerns is deplorable.

In closing, I held the belief that CSEA’s mission was about the workplace rights and well being of its union members. That belief has been damaged beyond repair because of your indifference to my real concerns, and I will make it my duty to alert media outlets that CSEA is more interested in multi-cultural racism and citizenship for illegal aliens, then the welfare of its own members.

I was and will be, deeply offended by Lee Mun Wah remarks and CSEA’s lack of response in repudiating them.

    Respectfully,

    Adrian Gillies

  169. The above Adrian Giles just comment over at NO QUARTER, “Leadership has consequences, but without principles it is called something else.”

  170. djia, well i checked out those organizations and now you have really scared me. I thought maybe this would be it, but I did not want to believe. Oh well, it is a huge conspiracy, but I am not sure if Obama is person these people are looking for!

  171. A proposed solution for Fla. and Mich.
    By: Lanny J. Davis
    May 26, 2008 03:15 PM EST

Here are two important neutral principles that should guide the
Democratic National Committee’s Rules Committee when it meets May 31
to decide whether to seat the Michigan and Florida delegations — and,
if so, how to allocate them between Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary
    Rodham Clinton.

One principle is based in law, the second in pragmatic politics. Both
principles result in the same solution: in some rough approximation,
honoring the results expressed by almost 600,000 Michigan Democrats
and more than 1.7 million Florida Democrats, who turned out in record
numbers though they were told their votes didn’t count, were not
responsible for the rules violations, and don’t want to be
    disenfranchised.

The legal principle supporting that solution is pretty simple. In U.S.
contract law, the party breaching a contract usually has the right to
“cure” the violation during the term of the contract. But if the other
party stands in the way of that cure, the breaching party cannot be
further sanctioned — and certainly, as a matter of fairness, the party
preventing the cure should not stand to benefit.

That is, in fact, what happened in 2008 to Michigan and Florida. Those
states violated the party rules when they scheduled their primaries
before Feb. 5. But then in March, elected officials and party leaders
in both states were willing to “cure” — i.e., to hold new primaries
and raise the money privately to pay for them. In Michigan, Gov.
Jennifer Granholm and Sen. Carl Levin proposed a “fire house” primary
in June, in which voters could revote at local fire houses or
libraries. In Florida, Sen. Bill Nelson and others supported a revote
by mailed ballots and perhaps also offering the fire house alternative
for those voters who preferred to vote in person.

DNC Chairman Howard Dean said at the time that such revotes were
permissible and would bring Michigan and Florida back into compliance.
And there was precedent: In 1996, Delaware Democrats held a party
caucus earlier than the permissible date, resulting in a rule
violation. But state Democrats were allowed to hold another caucus
later on and were then found to be back in compliance.

In March and April 2008, Clinton publicly supported the revote
proposals of Michigan’s Granholm and Levin and Florida’s Nelson. She
repeatedly invited Obama to join her and do the same. He never did —
    and the revotes never occurred.

Now the Obama campaign would say that they neither objected nor
approved; they just raised “concerns.” That is a fact. But here is an
unavoidable inference from other undeniable political facts: Had Obama
instructed those supporters in Michigan and Florida who were opposed
to the revotes to support them, and joined with Clinton in endorsing
the revotes, the new rounds of voting would have occurred.

Can anyone seriously argue against that inference? Or that the Obama
campaign, by referring to vague concerns for weeks about the revote
proposals without offering to sit down with Clinton campaign, Florida,
and Michigan Democratic officials to work them out, was more intent on
playing out the clock and killing the chance of any revotes than
finding solutions to permit the revotes to occur?

Money was certainly not an issue. Sufficient funds — estimated at
between $15 million to $20 million for both states — could have been
privately raised. New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine and many other big
Democratic donors publicly offered to raise this much. Moreover, does
anyone doubt that had Obama joined Clinton in supporting these
revotes, there would have been any difficulty in raising this sum just
from their joint appeal on their campaign web sites alone? Hardly.

    A possible solution

So what is the fairest solution for the Rules Committee, taking into
account Michigan’s and Florida’s willingness to revote but for the
failure of the Obama campaign to sit down and work out details to
    solve their “concerns”?

It is rather simple. Go back, in effect, to the status quo ante and
make some reasonable and fair adjustments.

In Michigan, Clinton received 55 percent of the vote. According to
Thegreenpapers.com, she thus should receive 73 pledged delegates based
    on that percentage.

What about the 50 remaining uncommitted delegates, and 7 collectively
cast for Sen. Chris Dodd and Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich, who were also on
    the ballot?

Some of those 50 delegates might have been for Clinton as a second
choice to candidates other than Obama, so it would be totally unfair
to award all 50 delegates to Obama.

One little known fact: Clinton complied with party rules by allowing
her name to remain on the ballot, as did Dodd and Kucinich. Obama was
not forced by party rules to remove his name — he chose to do so.

The Rules Committee has several options. The fairest would be to
allocate those 57 pledged delegates, to Clinton and Obama by the same
ratio of their standing to one another in the average of the most
recent Michigan statewide polls prior to the Jan. 15 primary. Or
perhaps one Solomonic compromise, more generous to Obama than to
Clinton, would be to divide the remaining delegates approximately
50-50 between the two of them, 28-27 (giving Clinton the extra
delegate since she led in all the latest statewide polls prior to Jan.
    15).

Florida’s compromise solution is even easier. Clinton won 50 percent
of the vote, while Obama won 33 percent of the 1.7 million Democratic
votes cast. According to Thegreenpapers.com, that would give Clinton
105 delegates and Obama 69 delegates. That leaves 11 elected John
Edwards delegates yet to decide, as well as 13 still unpledged
superdelegates. (Eight supers have already decided for Clinton and
    five have decided for Obama).

Practical politics: Winning the November election

Such solutions for the seating of Michigan and Florida, rooted as they
are on neutral and long-standing principles of law and equity, are
also required by practical political realities if the Democrats want
to win the White House in 2008.

If more than 2.3 million Democrats in Michigan and Florida are told
their votes didn’t count even though their party leaders were willing
to revote, that could anger them, to put it mildly. If they blame
Obama for not supporting the revote while still blocking a fair
solution by the Rules Committee, essentially not permitting their
January votes to count, they are likely to be angrier still — if, that
is, he is the Democratic Party’s nominee. In a close election that
could mean the difference between the Democratic candidate carrying or
    losing Michigan and Florida.

Is it worth risking the White House in November by not accepting this
    fair solution?

I don’t think so — too much, such as the Supreme Court and Roe v.
    Wade, hangs in the balance.

Lanny J. Davis served as a member of the DNC from Maryland for 12
years (1980-1992) and served on the DNC Executive Committee. He is
former Special Counsel to President Bill Clinton (1996-98) and a
supporter and fund-raiser for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. He holds no
position in Clinton presidential campaign; the views expressed are
entirely his own, and in no way speak for the campaign.

  172. There’s a revolting, leading piece in WaPo with lines like this
(didn’t I read somewhere Kennedy had a fraction of Carter’s delegates?
Did Kennedy win the popular vote? The Big States?
Oh, but “Many democrats are pointing to” THIS?
    God Fuck it All!);

And with that, at age 48, Kennedy returned to the Senate, where he committed himself to a career as a legislator, crafting landmark bills on health care, education and immigration.
Many Democrats are now pointing to the Kennedy model as a path for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to reshape her own political career, assuming she is unable to wrest the nomination from Sen. Barack Obama.

  173. from a Talkleft reader as to electability in November, based on the past five Presidential Elections…

    * There are FIVE “BELLWETHER STATES”.

These are states who have voted for the WINNER in ALL FIVE of the most recent Presidential elections.
They are: Arkansas, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Number of these that HRC has won? FOUR (80%)
    HRC’s Average Margin? 13.2%

    * There are THREE “VERY SWINGY STATES”. These are states who have voted Democratic in either 2 or 3 of 5 of the most recent Presidential elections. They are: Ohio, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

Number of these that HRC has won? THREE (100%)
    HRC’s Average Margin? 21.3%

  174. Blue, you gotta remember though he (kennedy) was going against a person with zero past. Obama is a person with a very questionable past. Surely this will come out soon! Lets keep up the faith!!

  175. Yeah, Blue, I wish the trial for Rezko would reach a verdict so we could see who will be next and there will be a next. There is some woman on the jury that keeps asking for days off to take care of family business, this really make me suspicious! Lets get the verdict handed down and move on.

  176. Both CNN & MSNBC carried this President Clinton quote today.
I saw CNN’s package twice and definitely here’s where it started.

“And I have never seen anything like it. I have never seen a candidate treated so disrespectfully just for running. Her only position was, “Look, if I lose I’ll be a good team player. We will all try to win but let’s let everybody vote and count every vote.'”

    What’s interesting is what they cut, which I just discovered;

“She is winning the general election today and he is not, according to all the evidence,” Clinton said. “And I have never seen anything like it. ….

From what I’ve seen, they’re trying to play it off as ‘Clinton Crying’, ‘Clinton Complaining’, ‘Clinton’s Crazy’, mixed with a good dose of plain old ignoring it as a story.

    Cause that’s how they do….

  177. Yeah Blue, they are not going to give the Clintons any wiggle room. It’s getting hard for me here at work with the blacks, they come to see what I am looking at on the net. This race-baiting is going to get people hurt, do they care, NO! Guess it’ll be a good story for them though!

  178. basil9 and confloyd,
I did not get your emails.

    deja, count me in.

confloyd, the jpg I sent will need to be downloaded and then opened because of its size.

  179. I would hate to think that the superdelegate endorsements are more susceptable to bribes of money from the Obama campaign than to who can actually win in November based on the polls, electoral college numbers, and recent primaries.

That only leaves “the people” to right this terrible wrong!

  180. Unfortunately Power and Money always speak louder than the voters.

In addition there is the fear the Clinton Machine.

I think they are about to meet the Obama Machine, and it will not be pretty.

Dean and the SDs have no idea who they are dealing with.

  181. We must react this time, and not just let them screw us as we did in 2000.

I don’t mean violence, I mean rally, demonstrations, and stop work, and voting. Even massive change of party to I or R if necessary. Can we do this?

The other side is threatening Violence. However, much can be achieved without this.

  182. You can be sure that the other side will have a huge presence outside the DNC meeting at the end of May. I sure hope Hillary’s supporters do the same.

    Signage, speeches, no violence.

  185. FEC, media can’t handle Obama jackpot

    By KENNETH P. VOGEL | 5/26/08 4:30 AM EST
    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0508/10609.html

The record-shattering fundraising by Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton has reshaped the financing of presidential elections and generated breathless coverage and analysis of the otherwise arcane area of campaign finance.

Yet it’s had another consequence that has gone all but unnoticed. The campaign finance reports filed by Obama and Clinton have grown so massive that they’ve strained the capacity of the Federal Election Commission, good government groups, the media and even software applications to process and make sense of the data.

A milestone of sorts was reached earlier this year, when Obama, the Illinois senator whose revolutionary online fundraising has overwhelmed Clinton, filed an electronic fundraising report so large it could not be processed by popular basic spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel 2003 and Lotus 1-2-3.

Those programs can’t download data files with more than 65,536 rows or 256 columns.

  186. re: what i just posted above….

is this how he’s getting away with his SO CALLED “small donors”???

this just smells of chicago combine tactics……make the files so large and make sooooooo difficult to review them.

  187. YOU JUST CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP!! 😀

Obama Obfuscates on Chavez & FARC
    By Jack Kelly
Should Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez be engaged? Or isolated? Presidential candidates debated this question in Florida last week.
Make that a presidential candidate debated this with himself in Florida last week. Sen. Barack Obama took both positions on successive days.
Mr. Obama told Walter Pacheco of the Orlando Sentinel last Thursday he’d personally meet with Mr. Chavez:
“One of the obvious high priorities in my talks with President Hugo Chavez would be the fermentation of anti-American sentiment in Latin America, his support of (Marxist narco-terrorists) FARC in Colombia, and other issues he would want to talk about,” Sen. Obama said then. “It is important to understand that ignoring these countries has not led to improved behavior on their part and it has not served our national security interests.”
But in a speech in Miami the very next day, Mr. Obama said any Latin American government that supports FARC (the Spanish acronym for the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) should be isolated.

“We will shine a light on any support for the FARC that comes from neighboring governments,” Mr. Obama told the Cuban American National Foundation. “This behavior must be exposed to international condemnation, regional isolation, and — if need be — strong sanctions. It must not stand.”
ABC’s Jake Tapper was confused. “So he will meet with the leader of a country he simultaneously says should be isolated? Huh?”
    ****Snip******
“Since the Bush administration launched a misguided war in Iraq, it’s policies in the Americas have been negligent toward our friends, ineffective with our adversaries, disinterested in the challenges that matter in peoples’ lives, and incapable of advancing our interests in the region,” Sen. Obama said. “No wonder, then, that demagogues like Hugo Chavez have stepped into this vacuum.”
Hugo Chavez assumed power in Venezuela in 1998. President Bush wasn’t elected until 2000. Sen. Obama should be careful about who he accuses of having been “negligent toward our friends,” and “ineffective with our adversaries,” because it isn’t only Hugo Chavez who should be embarrassed by what was found on Raul Reyes’ computer.
In a letter written just a couple of days before his death, the FARC chieftain told his inner circle he’d met with “two gringos” who told him Sen. Obama would be the next president, and that if elected, he’d cut off military aid to the Colombian government, and oppose the Free Trade Agreement with our ally.
Our enemies think Sen. Obama would be the best friend they’ve ever had in the White House. It’s not hard to see why.

A proposed solution for Fla. and Mich.

  189. Yay for Lanny Davis!

OK seriously, I think we all need to put our heads together and plan a course of action for what to do after the MI/FL decision comes down this week. Obviously, we don’t know what that decision will be, but whatever it is we need to be proactive. I have to go offline pretty soon, but I will be back tonight. So I’m thinking we should envision the most likely scenarios for MI/FL and discuss what we all should do for each one.

Scenario #1. The best-case scenario– MI and FL are fully included, with the delegates allocated according to the results of those states’ elections. It will also raise the bar in terms of how many delegates are needed to win the nomination, making it less likely that the opponent will be able to weasel his way over the top.

Scenario #2. The worst-case scenario. MI and FL are not included or seated. I don’t see this happening, given the outrage. But it is a possibility, so we need a plan for what to do should the worst happen.

Scenario #3. Some sort of compromise is reached. There are several different ways they could go about this. Which ones do you think are acceptable and which ones are not? And again, what do we do about each one?

    How Dare You!

    Posted May 26, 2008 | 09:17 PM (EST)

    by Jill Iscol
We need to talk. How dare the leadership of the Democratic Party turn on Hillary Clinton! How dare they betray Bill Clinton! How dare they not speak out when Hillary is disrespected by words like bitch, whore and the “c” word! How dare they allow them both to be smeared as racists, playing the race card! Where was Howard Dean ? Where was Nancy Pelosi ? Where were Hillary’s colleagues in the Senate when the Clintons were being so unfairly accused and denigrated? The Democratic Party has a lot to answer for. If we had stood as a party with one voice and said, “no”, we will not allow one of our own to be so disturbingly maligned, we would now have a unified democratic party electorate at the end of a virtually tied primary race. Instead we are deeply divided. Now, since the party’s leaders have chosen again and again not to speak up, I will.

I am a Hillary supporter and along with millions of Democrats throughout our country , I have been outraged by how the media have treated her throughout this primary season. But what is most disturbing is how my Party has stood by and allowed the demeaning and dishonest attacks on Hillary to continue. This is not the party I thought I belonged to. This is not the party that espouses fairness, justice and equality for all. This is not the party that elected Bill Clinton President in 1992 and 1996 and Hillary Clinton as Senator in 2000 and 2006. That party knew that it had benefited enormously from the Clinton administration as well as the incredible accomplishments of one of the most activist, hardworking First Ladies in our history. That Party stood proudly by a president who many called the first black president because both he and his wife had demonstrated a lifelong commitment to civil rights and human rights.

Imagine if Democratic leaders had done what Hillary did when President Bush associated Barack Obama with terrorism in his much lauded speech in Israel. Remember, Hillary gave a heartfelt statement that Barack was one of our own and she would not stand by and allow him to be so denigrated ?

Women are outraged. We are still fighting for her, and we are ashamed of how our candidate, a woman who has devoted her adult life to serving others, a woman who has been a distinguished First Lady, a woman who has helped her colleagues pass legislation and win races in their own states, a woman who has stood up for all of our rights, has been treated not just by the media but by her own Democratic Party. Throughout all this, Hillary has maintained her focus, her message and her dignity. This is truly courage under fire. This is what it takes to be a great president. It is not over until the lady in the pant suit says it is and I and millions of others are with her.

  191. djia,

Now that is a lheartfelt etter that should be spread far and wide.

    She definitely speaks for me!

  192. Hello Hillary supporters…this whole RFK ‘fake outrage’ is the last straw…and Eugene Robinson cannot let it go…MSNBC and CNN are determined to destroy Hill…and Bill…and leave them powerless…today I sent this off to Eugene Robinson and the rest of the MSNBC and CNN cabal…

    Dear Eugene,

    RE: Clinton’s Grim Scenario 5-27-08

You sir, are a disgrace…the question really is who will be responsible if anything happends to Hillary Clinton?

If anyone has to worry about being assassinated it is Hillary Clinton…

You, Keith O, Chris Matthews, Andrea Mitchell, Jack Cafferty, Roland Martin…the whole cabal of you and the far left blogs and the MSM have been verbally assassinating Hillary Clinton from day to night for the last year….

…all of you have been using words like death, death watch, toast, over, bitch, “take her out to the shed’…for months…the list is endless…

what is left? for some crazed person to come along and ‘put her out of her misery’ and finally take the last step…

You (and MSNBC,CNN, and the Obama camp) have milked this ‘race card’ since Hillary beat Obama in New Hampshire…you have not let one second go in your responses with your ‘colleagues in the destruction of Hillary Clinton’…to somehow shed a negative and destructive light on this dignified, smart, graceful, determined woman…

…you – the media – all took sides from the beginning and it was going to be ‘this wonderful young black man’ against HER…not the first viable woman, no that would show some respect…no, it was the young black prince against her, that witch…

YOU and your MSNBC cohorts set out every day to turn Hillary Clinton into some horrible monster that is a racist and secretly wants murder…you try your best every day to turn Hillary Clinton into some kind of horrible cartoon character with sinister motives…

You and your friends, include David Schuster and Dan Abrams, are quite simply put…a dangerous DISGRACE…

If anything happens to Hillary Clinton…all of you, especially MSNBC and the blatantly pro-Obama panel at CNN, will have her blood on your hands…

The media has proven that it is driven by hate…not facts…not analysis…but hate aimed right at their favorite targets…Hillary and Bill Clinton…

btw…the cat’s out of the bag…the public knows how that story about Hillary’s innocent RFK remark became the big scandal…we know that David Axelrod pushed it hard to all the media…we know he pushed Keith O’s rants, Keith, you know, the guy that compared Hillary and Gerri Ferraro to David Duke and George Wallace…

…we know that once Obama and David Axelrod passed the ‘Hillary ticking time bomb’ to you and the rest of the media…that you would all do your best to spin and repeat it over and over again…as if Hillary was implying she was waiting for an assassination…

You, Eugene Robinson, and the bulk of the MSM, are the ASSASSINS…you have put the target on Hillary Clinton and you all won’t be happy until you have embarrassed, hurt, destroyed and reduced Hillary Clinton to smithereens…and you all just cannot stand the fact that she does not care what you say…she will not quit…she is better than all of you put together…

…and don’t think we, the public, don’t see the cynicism of Barak Obama in pushing this story and then trying to act like he is taking the high ground and above it…he and David Axelrod and Gibbs are/were the ones pushing this story…

SHAME ON ALL OF YOU…you, the media, and the OBAMA CAMP used and exploited the memory of RFK to hurt Hillary Clinton…plain and simple…YOU and your friends are DISGUSTING…

You, Keith O, Chris Matthews, and the rest of you…are a DISGRACE…you are all guilty of verbally assassinating Hillary Clinton every day…

When will you all start showing some concern for Hillary’s safety?

  193. Jen the Michigander

Scenerio 3 seems the most likely and the way it will probably go is Florida seated as is and Michigan divided.

A scenerio that Hillary could proposed that would shocked the DNC and camp Obama would be to seat both states full delegations as uncomitted and let the war begin…..
Since both states have already finalized the delegates and a vast majority are Hillary supporters we would just have to turn the Edwards delegates and Obama delegates with the line Obama does not want to count your vote, remember 2000???

  194. S,

Eugene Robinson is a joke! This is his 30 seconds of fame moment. What is tragic about this whole mess is that Obama and his friends have taken any improvements that have been made regarding race issues over the years and turned them back to the mess they used to be.

I am sick to death of what is happening to Hillary.

  195. JanH…I so agree with what you say about Obama and his friends making race relations so much worse…

my feeling is that if Obama had stepped up to the plate after Hillary’s win in NH and then on to NC and made an definitive statement that the Clintons are not racists…I would have respected him and admired that he was trying to create a new way of doing politics…but instead he encouraged it and set the tone…and pushed the memeos to the MSM…Tim Russert even confronted him with the memeos during one of the debates…he pushed the racism…and now the democratic party is divided right down the middle and I believe it is going to get worse as we go into the GE…

not only is Obama not a new kind of politician…he is the most cynical example of the old kind…

it is all sad, despressing, disappointing and infuriating…

It looks like uninformed youth in Gaza are also for Obama Obamabots Everywhere trying to influence votes in America.

Maybe Congressman Wexler can explain to this district what this is about.

  197. S,

Not only that, but how the “H” does he have the audacity to now say that he thinks Bill Clinton is the man to put the party back together and mend the rifts, after everything he has done and condoned being done to Hillary so far?

Obama and the DNC are weakened and scarred in their continued silence and they should be condemned far and wide for it!

The only way they can redeem themselves is to do the right and fair thing at the meeting this week. Their past behavior tells me that instead, they will do everything in their power to broker a crooked nomination for their wunderkind.

These are the Judases that do their evil at the behest of the real enemies of our democracy and not for thirty pieces but for millions of dollars and promises for prominence in the field of broadcasting and mind control.SHAME SHAME SHAME.

By ABM90 You have sold your souls and you are stuck with BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.Have a good trip to where ever he may take you down that road to Fairy Land.

  202. ABM90,

I’m just going to ignore your comments on the Jewish people. Generalizing in this way doesn’t help Hillary.

Yes there are probably some who are Jewish and are in group you have mentioned, but there are many more, like Lanny who aren’t.

  203. JanH – yes I agree…how more transparent can the Obama camp be…after they spent the last year thrashing Hill and Bill and their integrity…now they want to use Bill’s big heart to bring everyone together…

so it’s ok to use Bill to bring Hill’s supporters to Obama…but they can’t accept Hill or she isn’t fit to be VP because she goes against O’s message…and Hill and Bill are part of the problem according to O…

    we must defeat this guy…

JBStonesfan…I am here in south Florida also…I cannot believe that Florida will buy into O…I already contacted the Broward voting registrat to find out what a write in for Hillary means…

the fact that this guy has no resume, no experience and got out of the gate early with his popularity contest and now is pushing out – with the help of the DNC – pushing out such a superior candidate as Hillary is too much…

everyone is starting to see we have another emperor with no clothes in front of us…even Tucker Carlson and other non Clinton supporters can see the obvious…she is head and shoulders above both Obama and McCain…and yet, the dems are heading for the cliffs…again…

Scenario #1. The best-case scenario– MI and FL are fully included, with the delegates allocated according to the results of those states’ elections
&&&&&& Obama cannot be awarded all the 45% Un-Hillary votes/delegates. Some were Edwards’, others took their names off the ballot too. Remove your name, and you get no votes.

Obama’s “45% of the people supported me in MI” is the vague kind of argument to be included in a floor fight at the convention. Yes, it is a valid point, but we can’t give him delegates because we don’t know what percentage to assign. It was a tactical mistake, a chance they were willing to take, and a price they knew they were paying in order to appease Iowan voters.

Scenario #2. The worst-case scenario. MI and FL are not included or seated.

&&&& We go to the convention in this case.

Scenario #3. Some sort of compromise is reached.
&&&, Still, see ya in Denver.

  208. The many recent news stories about how / when / why HRC has to give up are based on apples-to-oranges comparisons.

For instance, Kennedy in 1980 or Brown in 1992 were no where near as close in delegates (Brown was waaaaay behind). And, without having to look it up, they weren’t LEADING (or even close) in POPULAR VOTE. And it’s looking quite likely that HRC wins the popular vote WITHOUT FL/MI!!!

But if you are an intellectually dishonest reporter / commentator, those comparisons work for you, and you’ll continue trying to con your readers / viewers.

You have to go “off road” (away from MSM) to get a whiff of reality.

  209. Chris Mathews, Eugene Robinson, Olberman, and many other Clinton haters are far from being Jewish. Hillary has much stronger support among Jewish voters than Obama.

  210. janh;I agree with you,but my argument is with the few that are controlling the process in favor of Obama.I feel badly for the many Fl voters that are being disenfranchised by these mercenary people.Jewish people have always supported the Clintons and they are to be applauded for doing so. BUT we are dealing with group that have no respect for fairness and truth.Just watch CNN and MSNBC on an election results telecast and see and hear them ,predict, laugh, humiliate, denegrate the Clintons,Just for MONEY.The rotten apples DO spoil the GOOD ones.I love the Clintons,The Lannys and their honest Jewish supporters and we need their input What has Obama and hiscult done to yhis great Country. We should all be worried about the outcome of this disgusting campaign to alter our wonderful democracy. recreate.68 is the scenario that spells CHAOS

  211. Eugene Robinson’s ridiculous op-ed piece today in the Washington Post (basically saying that Hillary has lost her “soul” because she noted that the 1968 Democratic primary was also decided late) is one of the most absurd pieces of alleged logic I’ve ever seen. If Obama says he takes Hillary at her word (which he should have done from day 1), then Obama’s minions should follow his lead.

  212. dija,

let me know okay, cause otherwise i will need to leave references…
but since i’ve been on this site a year, admin should give me one….

  213. The reason Obama yanked his name off the ballots in FL and MI is because (a) he was pandering to Iowa voters, at the expense of other states and (b) he knew he was going to get trounced in both states, so he wanted to get the hell out of Dodge as quickly as he could.

For Obama to start whining now that he should be entitled to some freebie votes and freebie delegates is absolutely ridiculous. No deal, except count every vote.

  214. I wonder how old Robinson was in 1968 — those of us who remember know that Hillary has complete respect for RFK and everything that happened that year.

The same can’t be said for those like Robinson who slander her about it.

His name was on the FL ballot. He took it off MI.

  218. Barack Obama: Do as he says, not as he does.

Here is what Obama is going to say today.
But if those same candidates are taking millions of dollars in contributions from the PACs and lobbyists, ask yourself, who are they going to be toasting once the election is over?
I’m the only candidate who doesn’t take money from corporate PACs and lobbyists, and I’m here to tell you that you can count on me to stand up for you after this election, just as I’ve been standing up for workers all my life. That’s why I’m running for President of the United States.

Of course, here is what Obama actually does.
Last fall, Barack Obama quietly slipped into the Miami headquarters of a major law firm scarred by the scandals of Jack Abramoff, its once-powerful Washington lobbyist who now sits in jail.
Arriving a little after 10 a.m. on Oct. 1, Obama spent the next three hours schmoozing, speaking in a video conference to branch offices and raising money at Greenberg Traurig, a billion-dollar firm with one of the biggest lobby shops here.
Obama has now raised about $125,000 from Greenberg Traurig employees — nearly half of it at the time of the event — more than from any of the other top law and lobby firms.
Symbolically, it was a starkly contradictory event: an appearance by the candidate who crusades most adamantly against lobbyists at the onetime firm of the poster child for out-of-control influence peddling.
Of course he’s not a hypocrite. Don’t accuse him of being a hypocrite. . You actually have to stand for something to be a hypocrite.

Public anger over the Abramoff lobbying scandal led Obama to institute the ban on lobbyist money in the first place, an aide said last year.

Realistically, it shows the fine line Obama draws when he says he does not accept money from lobbyists and political action committees, while raising a stunning $200-plus million overall.
Taking funds from lawyers but not lobbyists — the distinction Obama draws — is “hair splitting,” according to League of Women Voters President Mary Wilson.
Obama is a run-of-the-mill corrupt Cook County, Chicago political hack with a thin record and timid positions (or “present” in the Illinois Senate) on the important issues.

He claims to not accept money from federally registered lobbyists… but he accepts money from these same lobbyists’ business associates and spouses… and he accepts money from lobbyists who happen to not be registered. He accepts bundled checks. He uses lobbyists and other government relations professionals as advisers.

Thak you JanH:my apologies .I am just a 90 year old that has seen the best and the worst of what humans can do to each other.I meant no offense to anyone but those in the MSM that think that they can get away with the assault on the Clintons and any one else that support them.I am not a writer,a historian or even a well educated person.I can only express by blogging, what I have seen, sensed and experienced in all those years. I have always been tolerant of everyone until The Media decided to take over our minds and votes and give us their choice of our President.I don’t have the resources, the stamina, the tme to scrap as you youngsters are doing.I send Hillary $10 every month when my SS check arrives and hope that I will live to seeher with Bill and CHelsea at her side, sworn in as our 44th Madam President :HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON.

  226. Is Obama really GWB in disguise!

Quote of the Month: “My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it.” – Senator Barack Hussein Obama

you can’t make up stuff, like this. What an idiot.

  227. ABM90,

You might not be a writer or a historian, but your posts are amazing. You should really consider writing your memoirs. I bet they would be fascinating. 🙂

  228. JanH; Thankyou for your kind words and the commemt that my memoirs might be fascinating. It is far too late in life and the references that I strongly believe are always necessary to keep the words factual and honest, are not possible so late in life.Having instant recall as my Children often accuse me of,keeps my life ever interesting and I hope honest.JanH,I am just an old guy ,like all others who like to look back and remind the younger set that we are all lucky to me Americans First.I take great comfort in knowing that I have been A Good Husband,A Good Father and A Good Soldier. Oh! and I left out A Diehard Hillary Supporter.

    Thanks ABM90
