Hillary Clinton Must Quit – NOW!

Eli Manning must quit the Superbowl – NOW! There is no way the Giants can win!

Roadrunner must surrender NOW!. Wyle E. Coyote has a new weapon from Acme Manufacturing that is a sure fire winner, this time.

There is no way. There is no way Hillary Clinton can win New Hampshire. She’s going to lose by 15 points. There is no way Hillary Clinton can win Ohio, let alone Texas. Hillary Clinton is about to lose California. God Almighty, there is no way Hillary Clinton can win Massachusetts now that Ted Kennedy, John Kerry and Governor Patrick are working non-stop for B.O.

Latinos are about to vote in droves for Obama now that Oprah and Caroline Kennedy are campaiging in New Mexico.

Surrender Dorothy! There is NO HOPE!

Big Media with all its power is never wrong. The voters must be ignored. Florida and Michigan can — be discarded. Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky can all be ignored, discarded, disenfranchised.

But wait. Maybe that explains this latest wave of demands that Hillary quit. Hillary is ahead by double digits in Pennsylvania. The race is tight in North Carolina with Hillary rising. Hillary is also ahead by double digits in Kentucky and West Virginia. Might this growing Hillary Clinton voter support have something to do with the latest demands that Hillary Clinton quit?

Of course. Whenever Hillary is going to win the demands she quit come rapid fire, over and over and over. The Party can’t survive, Big Media can’t survive if the voters are allowed to disagree.

Whenever Hillary is winning the pundits declare the importance of immediate Party unity and that Hillary immediately quit.

Whenever Hillary is winning Big Media declares that the Party is being damaged.

The recent calls for Hillary to quit are understandable. Voters are waking up to the flim flam man.

Maybe it is that Obama does not have a primary to distract voters from “Pastor” Wright and change the narrative for more than a month. Until April 22 all Obama can do is roll out news stories to fake out voters that this race is over. Obama, Big Media, incense burners know that until April 22 the news will be dominated by longtime Obama friend, slumlord Antoin “Tony” Rezko and “God Damn America” “Pastor” Wright with all his wrongs. For the next month the only story is the alienation of Americans, particularly working class whites, from “God Damn America” Obama.

Breaking News: Bill Richardson joins the McClurkin Gay bashing tour!

After saying Superdelegates should respect the voters of their respective states Bill Richardson went to Roswell. Gasbags from Roswell agree on Obama.

Let’s recall Bill Richardson’s biggest moment of the campaign (in which he peaked in low single digits):

Hillary Clinton must Quit – Now!

Fools like Eriposte at The LeftCoaster insist that Hillary Clinton still has a chance of winning. How dare Eriposte express such contrary opinion. How dare Eriposte remind Americans of voter disenfranchisement in Florida in 2000. How dare Eriposte defend voters and their right to vote and have their voices be heard. Stop it. Stop it now.

For the sake of Big Media power — for the sake of the unelectable bigot Barack Obama — for the sake of “Pastor” Wright — for the sake of Antoin “Tony” Rezko — for the sake of DailyKooks — for the sake of those that don’t care about universal health care — for the sake of typical white persons — for the sake of Howard Dean and the Democratic National Committee — for the sake of those who are afraid of Latino voters — for the sake of those who are afraid of women voters — for the sake of those afraid of empowered little girls — for the sake of those who are afraid of white working class voters — for the sake of those who are afraid of African-American Hillary Clinton voters — for the sake of Arriana and Russert and Matthews and Olbermann — for the sake of everything that is contrary to American progessive values —

Hillary Clinton must Quit – Now!

Forget Voter Rights! Forget Pennsylvania!

  1. Admin, in a nutshell they are saying: “Hillary must quit NOW, quickly, while I have the lead!”

Why the urgency? If she has no chance, then what do they care if she lets it play out til Denver? According to them, she’ll keep losing, his numbers will continue to rise, right? What are they so afraid of, that they are frothing at the mouth for her to drop out?

“Hillary must quit BEFORE I lose my lead. Hillary must quit BEFORE the voting booth shows that my gig is up.” That is the real message of all their “unity and math” handwringing.

  2. any person who belongs to a racist organization (including churches) can not be President of the United States! It is un-American.

  3. Exactly, HillaryforTexas.

If Hillary can’t win, do what McCain did with Huckabee – leave him alone.

The fear they have is that Hillary has a very good chance of winning. Hillary also creates a huge headache for those that want to disenfranchise Florida and Michigan. They want to force Hillary out to cover up their big mistake at DNC.

Just before Ohio and Texas the narrative was that Hillary could not win and that would mean the end of the campaign. Immediately after the Ohio and Texas wins the narrative was that this campaign would go on.

When the polling showed massive shifts towards Hillary and a big win coming in Pennsylvania — followed up with the Wright bomb — the Obama people worried as they bled white working class support.

They have a month of Wright/Rezko ending with a big PA loss. More losses after that and a whole summer of Wright/Rezko.

  4. HillaryforTexas

no real need to pay attention to the low life stuff spewing out of the Obama camp’s mouth. They will say anything, do anything, pay anything at this point to move attention away from the fact that Obama belongs to a racist church (and has no intention of quiting either). No use. We got your number Obama and we are going to keep calling it. 1-800-WRIGHT.

  5. Hillary is going to steam roll Obama in the remaining primaries. She will win big not just in PA, but everywhere!

    West Virginia Democratic Presidential Primary
West Virginia: Clinton 55% Obama 27%

Looking down the road to May 13, Senator Hillary Clinton holds a huge lead over Senator Barack Obama in the West Virginia Presidential Primary. The first Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of the race shows that Clinton attracts 55% of the Likely Democratic Primary Voters while Obama is supported by 27%. Eighteen percent (18%) are not sure.

Clinton is viewed favorably by 72% of West Virginia’s Primary Voters, Obama by 53%.

By a 48% to 31% margin, the West Virginia voters believe Clinton will be the stronger general election candidate against John McCain. However, by a 47% to 35% margin, they believe Obama will win the nomination. Even 32% of Clinton voters expect Obama to be the Democratic nominee in 2008.

If Obama is nominated, just 42% of Clinton supporters say they are even somewhat likely to vote for him against McCain. Eighteen percent (18%) of Clinton voters say that they are Not Very Likely to vote for Obama and 35% say they are Not at All Likely to vote for Obama.

On the other hand, if Clinton is nominated, 57% of Obama voters are at least somewhat likely to vote for the former First Lady.

The economy is the top voting issue for 51% of Likely Primary Voters. Overall, 53% say the focus should be on reducing the income gap between rich and poor. Thirty-nine percent (39%) say the focus should be on creating more economic growth.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) say that Obama has received better media treatment than Clinton. Just 16% believe that Clinton has benefitted from media preference.

  6. rjk1957, that sums the state of play fairly well.

Without Florida and Michigan voters represented, as they voted, the nomination will be illegitimate.

The numbers of Hillary voters that will not vote for Obama in state after state is astounding. That number is sure to increase as Rezko/Wright sinks into the minds of the electorate.

  7. Good morning, Hillfans. From the mouths of Chicago babes comes another angle on BO. Spread the news far and wide — email, call, hand out copies. This is the real Obama.

  8. Here’s a chuckle: Barack Obama Pushes for Hillary to Release Her NCAA Bracket

  9. Obama seems inept at patriot games
Clinton wisely mum as troubles engulf rival

    Sheldon Alberts, National Post
    Published: Saturday, March 22, 2008

WASHINGTON -It is already easy to imagine the Republican attack ads against Barack Obama.

They open with video of his wife, Michelle, saying she was proud of America “for the first time in my adult lifetime” because of her husband’s presidential candidacy. Cut to the Illinois Senator explaining that he doesn’t wear an American flag lapel pin because it is a “substitute for true patriotism.” Then flash a clip of Obama explaining that his Caucasian grandmother was a “typical white person” because she uttered racial epithets and was afraid of black people.

Finally, the coup de grace, pictures of Obama’s angry, arm-waving preacher blaming the United States for 9/11 and shouting “God Damn America” to the rafters of Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ.

    Game, set, election, John McCain.

Sound implausible? Hillary Clinton doesn’t think so.

The rest of the article too long to post:

  10. Gov Bill Richardson miscalculation goes deeper than what has become public. It seems he is looking to ward becoming VP and he knows Hillary won’t consider him being her running mate because, among other things, the Clinton campaign has made some indications she prefers Obama for that post. So the governor’s gambit goes with the hope that if Obama gets nominated he might be granted his wish. The funny thing is, Bill Richardson knows more than anyone else that Hillary is sure to be nominated or that Obama won’t be elected. But since he is not going to make anything out of her presidency he endorsed her opponent.

  11. I think those who endorse BHO do not expect a win in November at all. They endorse BHO to appeal to AA so that they can run in 2012.

  12. Gezahegn
Perhaps you give Richardson too much credit by assuming he is a person of normal intelligence. I would not assume as much. Could be that his doctor needs to adjust his meds, or that he has a crush on Obama’s wife, or could be that he is just plain stupid.

  13. Richardson showed himself to be a buffoon throughout the campaign. This late endorsement is further evidence. He is not very bright.

  14. paddy4Hill, I got supended and received a warning on “MYDD” for calling Richardson a “fat idiot”. LOL

  15. I cant believe that we’re still going to allow Obama to be the nominee when he claims himself to be an uniter when he wont and still wont consider either Florida and Michigan to be counted. He’s hoping people will forget this come November. I’m glad to see that there was an article in both USA Today and Wash. Post about the importance of including these two states in the delegate counts but still this type of news still continues to be underminded or ‘push-aside’ I think there needs to be a more focus and if people were to know that it is Obama that seems to push for the no-delegates count for either state will continue to hurt against Obama – this is not really ‘media-focused’ and it needs to be

  16. for me the question is simple.. am I a person who affiliates himself with church of “god bless america” or church oif “god damn america”. america hating nazi family descendents of god damn america church have “audacity” to preach tolerance to me and the entire nation..

  17. There has to be some other agenda here in the national party other than winning in November…they are so clearly trying to force feed us BO against the will of the majority of DEMOCRATS. We can’t win w/out 2 out the three big swing states – FL, PA and OH. She can/will win those, he can’t. You can smell the desperation – they are trying to hound her out now b/c she will win 9 maybe 10 out of the next 10 contests and he will hobble into the convention.

  18. clintondem99

try using skinny instead of fat. Maybe they don’t approve of weight discrimination. The idiot part they should not have a problem with.

  19. Obama is hoping with the Richardson endorsement that people will forget the Wright matter, Rezko, and not counting both Florida and Michgian, and boost his popularity. We need to continue to remind the people so they do not forget Obama’s:

Lack of Judgment (sitting in the pews while all these hate speech was happening and not standing up for Americans)
Willingness to go against two KEY states come November 5 (Florida and Michigan)
    Lack of Experience
Statements such as, “typical white people”

  20. At least on the some of the news outlet online doesn’t really have Richardson endorsed Obama instead it has Obama aide: Bill clinton is like Joe McCarthy in which I dont think will sit well with the democrats because of his popularity as a president

  21. Sixty-nine percent of voters who have heard or read about Obama’s speech say he did a good job addressing the issue of race relations, and 63 percent of voters following the events say they agree with Obama’s views on race relations. Seventy-one percent say he did a good job explaining his relationship with Wright.

When registered voters were asked if Obama would unite the country, however, 52 percent said yes – down from 67 percent last month.

  22. Gezahegn

Yeah, maybe their admin has difficulties dealing with adjectives. If they had any real smarts they would not be working at that site but ours.

  23. B Merryfield, if you compare this with what was resulted from Fox you will see a difference. CBS only superfically touched the Wright issue while Fox bombarded us with the Wright videos. Huge difference there.

  24. justmeinmountdorafl, after labour day, the GOP 527 will bombard the Wright vedios in every networks and cables.

  25. justme, you are correct. It’s sad but true that the Right is working so much harder and consistently on this. The Republicans, for all their faults, consider themselves the party of family values. The Dems, apparently, not so much. I’ll gladly let Fox News lead the way since all the other “news media” are in the tank for Obama. And I’m more than willing to lend them a helping hand if that’s what it takes.

  26. Plural, I agree, how can he expect Florida or Michigan (critical states) to go his way come November 5th should he be the nominee? Oh that’s right, Obama said that people will forget. No, no way will people forget that it was HIM that wants Florida and Michigan not counted. This needs to be repeatedly reminded as well as the Wright matter.

I agree B Merryfield, it is UP to us the grassroot movement to HELP Hillary, with Penn, Indiana, North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, Guan, PR, and Oregon. We need to continue to bombard and remind it is Hillary that is the right candidate for President and not Obama and why. I am rather tired of the negativism about Hillary. Hillary needs to quit, Hillary can’t get the delegates, and so on. Know why? Because Obama wont let her have Florida and Michigan. How’s that for an uniter?

  27. firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/02/01/629273.aspx

Obama said, “I am confident I will get her votes if I’m the nominee. It’s not clear she would get the votes I got if she were the nominee.”

Michele weighed in and made matters worse by saying she’d have to think about it before she could say she’d vote for Clinton.

Yet people in Penn are set to defect – “In a sign of just how divisive and ugly the Democratic fight has gotten, only 53% of Clinton voters say they’ll vote for Obama should he become the nominee. Nineteen percent say they’ll go for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and 13% say they won’t vote.

Sixty percent of Obama voters say they’ll go for Clinton should she win the nomination, with 20% opting for McCain, and three percent saying they won’t vote.”

  28. As far as Richardson goes, I have now decided to take the high road…lol…

I have no idea what pressures were put upon him to endorse the way he did. I have no idea if Kennedy, Dean, the DNC or whoever, badgered him day and night. That being said, I don’t think he is stupid and I certainly don’t think he is fat, ugly, etc… I think if he voted his conscience then I am fine with that. If he didn’t, then I feel sorry for him. I feel sorry that he has found some way to justify Obama’s weaknesses. I feel sorry that he has found some way to justify the disenfranchment of milions of voters.

  29. Yes, the exclusion of FL and MI.

And also the politically-motivated and indiscriminate flinging of the racism charge against people we know aren’t racist. That’s not forgiveable, or forgettable.

  30. nice to see this,

    “Sticking with Hillary” http://thedemocraticdaily.com/2008/03/21/sticking-with-hillary/

“More voices are calling on Democrats to count the voices of Florida and Michigan…“Our worry is about voters in Florida and Michigan…it’s incumbent on the party and the candidates to come up with a fair way to dig themselves out of this mess.” (Hillary’s blog http://www.hillaryclinton.com/blog)

  31. justmeinmountdorafl

Obama is correct is thinking that the people of Florida and Michigan will forget about him not counting their votes. They will forget to vote, at least forget to vote for him. Maybe he thinks the seniors in Fl have not been taking their ginkgo regularly.

  32. I think we should write to congressmen/senators for both Florida and Michigan saying if they do not work hard to have the delegates counted that their own seats will be jeopardized because of the many people who came out and voted

From Obama, the DNC, and MSM to the Democratic voters of the states listed below:

Since we are going to force Hillary Clinton out of this election, you can forget about voting for this primary season:

Pennsylvania – you people don’t deserve to vote.
Indiana – sorry but we don’t need you this time around.
North Carolina – you people don’t matter anyway.
West Virginia – you aren’t even important to anybody.
Kentucky – we will call you if we need you.
Oregon – the West Coast doesn’t count with us.
Montana – not enough votes to bother with.
South Dakota – what a waste of time you are.
Puerto Rico – so what! You also don’t count in the GE.
Florida – you missed your chance before, so forget it.
    Michigan – bwahahahaha!

  34. Seems like the regular day shift is late today. Must be sleeping in. I’m going to get out of here before its too late. See you later folks.

  35. B Merry , a small editorial correction, it is former Illinois U.S. Senator Pete Fitzgerald not congressman.

  36. Hey its ONE month from today that Penn. votes – let’s make a goal for each day we help contribute to a HUGE and I mean HUGE win for Hillary in the state of Penn that will have an enormous impact on the coming states afterwards – ONE MONTH FROM TODAY, HILLARY WINS BIG

  37. I think those who endorse BHO do not expect a win in November at all. They endorse BHO to appeal to AA so that they can run in 2012.

I hate to see him run in 2012 now.

  38. Hillary must never quit. She will win.

They have to count MI and FL. They have to give Hillary her votes. They cannot be split with BO. That is vote stealing. I can’t believe he would suggest it. Can the nation go through another election where the votes aren’t counted? I don’t think so.

Right now Obama is desparate. I can tell by the way he is talking about Hillary. Just right down in the mud he is. He is shaking in his shoes.

He is no more qualified to be president than I am. And I am probably more honest. He is a joke.

I understand the dilemma of the AAs. I am white but I have waited a long time for an AA candidate to come along. However, this is not the right candidate. I know there are AAs that realize this. I don’t want the wrong candidate to have an administration that flops and then have to live that down.

Hillary has to stay the course for the democratic party. Unless they are totally stupid Hillary will be the nominee.

  39. ADMIN::::::::::::::::::::::::::

should we start a PETITION, saying we wont vote for barack obama if he is the nomineee, be cause we dont want a racist in the white house?

i read on some of the petition web sites where they said, online petitions are subject to fraud, but they gave an example of a petition in great britain, that collected a total of 1 1/2 million signatures, and because of the sheer numbers, the party was flabbergasted and voted to pass a bill that the people wanted…

so i say, should we do an online petition, calling for barack to step down, or we will not vote dem in november.

we could also start one that says, sit the florida delegates, as it was not any fault of there own…

you know we could get every good blog and every hillary supporter, and thousands and thousands of floridians to sign…
we could always put the two demands together, as a way to screw up the obama campaign from copying…

we could also have hill supporters collect on paper as well…
    is that dumb?

  40. Good Morning!

B Merryfield: Do you beleive Obama will have any fall out from the Rezko issues, and if so when do you beleive the bad news will come. Timing is everthing and Obama needs to another set back,(and soon).

  41. hey dot…some of those articles you have to ignore…how do we really know who writes them?

    watching mens right now.

  42. To the point;

Re “Rules Count,” by Carrie Giddins (Op-Ed, March 19):

Florida and Michigan Democratic voters broke no rules by participating in primaries that violated a Democratic National Committee fiat. The only laws governing primaries are state laws, with which the primaries complied.

The only rules governing delegate seating are those to be adopted by the Democratic National Convention, not those dictated by the Democratic National Committee.

Candidates do not have the power to bargain away the right of Florida and Michigan Democrats to be represented by duly elected delegations. Candidates who made such agreements may cry foul, but primaries are not held for their benefit. Primaries are held to enable party voters to choose a nominee. The Florida and Michigan primaries fulfilled that purpose.

Here is a task for the superdelegates: to serve democracy by disregarding specious “rules” and ensuring that all elected delegates are seated to cast ballots according to the primary results.

    Christopher C. Dunham
    Westport, Conn., March 19, 2008

More important than the horse race numbers are the internals to do with Obama’s favorability ratings:

On Saturday, Obama’s favorable ratings slipped a little further—46% favorable, 51% unfavorable.
Before the Pastor Problem became big news, Obama was viewed favorably by 52%. One month ago,
he was viewed favorably by 56%. McCain is viewed favorably by 54% of voters nationwide and
unfavorably by 43%. For Clinton, those numbers are 43% favorable, 54% unfavorable (see recent daily results).

    Obama’s fav/unfav rating:

1 month ago: 56% to 41% for a Net Favorability Rating (NFR) of 15%

Today: 46% to 51% for a Net Favorability Rating (NFR) of -5%

That is a swing of 20% in the NFR in one month!!!

This cannot be easily reversed. The horse race numbers will fluctuate day-to-day.
In my view the swing in the NFR is the more important story. The genie cannot be
    put back in the bottle.

The NFR will continue to get worse for Obama. The independents and working class whites
are moving away from Obama in droves.

    Sticking With Hillary
    by Gilbert Martinez
    March 21st, 2008 @ 3:18 pm

I’m not ready to give up. Hillary is not a quitter and I don’t intend to be one either. Everywhere I look it seems like someone is saying why Hillary cannot win. “The math” isn’t there (remember Karl Rove’s “the math”?). There will be riots if she’s the nominee. Al Gore will come in and save the day by nominating Obama at the convention. That Hillary is going to get abucted by aliens from Trafalmadore and have to give up on the race.

I’ll let you all in on a little theory I have: The Obama campaign and their supporters in the liberal blogosphere/MSM are scared–really, really scared–that Obama is going to get trounced in the next month or two and that Hillary will get the nomination. They are going out of their way to imply over and over that Hillary needs to drop out now to save the Party. Heck, they are trying to pretend they are going disenfranchise and/or ignore over 2,000,000 Democratic voters to make it seem less likely she can win.

Excuse me, but I’m not falling for it. There’s no way the Democratic Party survives without counting voters in FL and MI, so unless the DNC wants to be in their last year, I think its silly to think they won’t be counted. We still have PA, where Hillary is running strong. She is making gains in North Carolina. She is dominating West Virginia. She is on the rise nationally and Obama is falling. Yet they are still trying to force Hillary out of this before people’s votes are counted. Everyone needs to have a “cup of tea” or a glass of wine and calm down. Let’s let the voters have their say. I’m not afraid of that.

Hillary is in it to win it and I’m sticking with her. This party is just getting started, baby!

  45. TheRealist always comes through with a dose of reality.

That is the first thing I have read that makes sense about this whole thing. What are “rules” anyways??? They aren’t LAWS are they?

  46. Morning all! Does anybody have any information or links about Hillary’s new pollster? I hear he’s supposed to be very good.

  47. Happy saturday everyone.

Here’s a little pickmeup from Ambinder:

“The Obama campaign distributed Gov. Bill Richardson’s endorsement speech…note the stage direction:

    I know Senator Obama well.
I first got to know him when I chaired the last Democratic National Convention, where he gave that wonderful keynote address.

And then, last year, as we campaigned against each other for the Presidency, I came to fully appreciate his steadfast patriotism and remarkable talents.

I also felt a kinship with him because we both had one foreign-born parent and we both lived abroad as children.

In part because of these experiences, Barack and I share a deep sense of our nation’s special responsibilities in the world.

    [Turn toward Obama and smile]

Barack Obama, you are an extraordinary leader who has shown courage, sound judgment and wisdom throughout your career.

You understand the security challenges of the 21st century, and you will be an outstanding Commander in Chief.

  48. When they (Obama and MSM and some people in the DNC) are asking for Hillary to step down, then something is about to come! Just like Rev Wright, the week before that story broke, everyone was telling Hilliary she should step down.

  49. nikki22, Geoff Garin is well respected. As you can see he works for Hart & Associates and Peter Hart does polling for WSJ
    and is a well-respected pollster.

  50. I read the N.Y. Times Richardson article in the last thread. What a spineless wuss he is! He doesn’t automatically need to endorse Hillary because of what the Clintons did for him, but he should have the decency to be honest with Bill. He told Bill repeatedly he wasn’t going to endorse Obama. Why didn’t he just say he was undecided? His word is worthless.

Carville’s comment was great, though, and hit the nail on the head, lol.

  51. yeah, real WISDOM .. listening to AntiAmerican,AntiWhite hate for 20 years. What career? He’s a one term Senator who started running for POTUS as soon as he took office. WTF has he accomplished? What leadership can we expect.

My dad always told me “you are known by the company you keep” .. Obama’s company of Jeremiah Wright for 20 years tells me more than enough. He’d never in ANY circumstance get my vote. I’d not vote for Hillary if she put him on her ticket .. he’s totally antiAmerican and all about “himself”

  52. isn’t the new messiah on some island somewhere. wonder who he is meeting secretly with this time.

wonder if he plans to return to his “nest” at TUCC and remember what real acts of love are about.

  53. Paula,
This pretty much fits Richardson’s horrible political judgement. I mean endorsing BO right when he’s imploding. And did you see his performance on Meet The Press a few months back? Pathetic!

  54. I’m beginning to read comments about how the Democratic Party is on the verge of being destroyed. The authors suggest it will be the fault, in whole or in part, of Hillary Clinton.

The truth is if our party is destroyed it will be because of the current leadership and the stupid mess they have gotten us into.

On a more optimistic note, I’m sure Hillary, as the nominee, will come to the rescue of us and those nitwits in charge now.

  55. can someone send this to AP>

From a conservative National Review Reporter

    In Bill’s Defense [Kathleen Parker]

It isn’t often that I’m called to defend Bill Clinton, but since I was present in Charlotte, N.C., Friday when he made the remarks — now being spun by the Obama campaign as “like McCarthy” — I’m compelled to set the record straight.

The AP is reporting that Hillary Clinton is trying to clarify comments by her husband that “seemed to question” Barack Obama’s patriotism and that an Obama aide likened to Joseph McCarthy. Nonsense.

In no way did I interpret Clinton’s remarks as questioning Obama’s patriotism. Clinton was making the case for his wife’s electability against McCain, who last time I checked is the presumptive Republican nominee and her challenger should she win the Democratic nomination. He may have intentionally bypassed Obama in his leap to match Hillary against McCain, but he didn’t say anything that could be construed as questioning Obama’s patriotism. The sequence went as follows: He noted that Hillary polls ahead of McCain in Ohio and Florida and also that McCain leads “Hillary’s opponent” (I quit typing here and don’t recall exactly which states he mentioned in that part of his comment.) His point, obviously, was that Hillary should be the nominee and, in that case, she and McCain would face each other in the final contest.

Before he made the so-called controversial remarks, he praised McCain as an “honorable man,” who has “paid the highest price short of giving your life.” He mentioned that though Hillary and McCain disagree on many issues, they’ve worked together successfully on others. In that context, he said it would be great “if you had two people who really love this country and ask who’s right on these issues” instead of all the non-essential clutter that now distracts in politics.

This was toward the end of his talk, which focused on Iraq and the economy. Obama was no longer on the radar at this point. Bill Clinton was saying that Hillary and McCain are both good patriots who love their country, not that all those unmentioned are something else. At least that’s the way I heard it. Now, if I were the sort of reporter who looks for some random sentence to blow up into an attention-grabbing headline . . .

    03/22 12:03 PM

  56. sherm: On a more optimistic note, I’m sure Hillary, as the nominee, will come to the rescue of us and those nitwits in charge now.

🙂 yes that is what we need to emphasize….how Hillary will rescue the democratic party!

  57. Wow, the tickets for Elton’s event are selling out so fast! This will give Hillary a big boost in funds. Also, our meter shows close to $800,000 in less than 24 hours.

    Thanks Cashionistas!!!

Grandma Got Run Over By a Campaign Speech
The road to universal love is paved with cheap shots.

    By Mona Charen

It’s a mistake to try to pigeonhole Barack Obama. He is too smart and too agile to succumb to easy categorization. But the candidate’s eloquence is often more of a curtain than a window to his soul — and one is left to wonder where his heart truly lies. As George Burns said of acting, “Sincerity is everything. If you can fake that, you’ve got it made.”

Discussing his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, who asked God to “damn” America, who called this country the “No. 1 killer in the world,” Obama’s defense was subtle. Oh yes, he agreed, the rhetoric is “divisive … at a time when we need unity” and reflects “profoundly distorted views of this country” that “rightly offend both white and black.” But there’s so much more to the man. He serves his community, housing the homeless, ministering to the needy, serving those with HIV/AIDS, and so forth. He brought Obama to Christianity. And Obama can no more “disown him than he can disown the black community” and no more disown him than he can disown his own white grandmother.

Obama’s white grandmother, according to the account in Dreams from My Father, had once flinched before a black man on a public bus — hoping that her husband would drive her to work the following day so that she could avoid him. On other occasions, he recounts, she had uttered “racial or ethnic stereotypes” that made Obama “cringe.”

This is a false equivalence. In the first place, what pastor or congregational leader does not minister to the poor and unfortunate? Pastoral work in the community is the norm, not the exception. One can say the same of Louis Farrakhan and Hamas for that matter. It doesn’t begin to excuse or justify stoking the flames of hatred and bitterness that Wright so flagrantly fired.

  59. she needs a lot more money, dot48, so hopefully we can continue to try to encourage people to DONATE more, we need to uplift the news for Hillary. Im out for now, but be back later, take care you all my typical white people

  60. I absolutely hate the media. All they do is unquestioningly parrot Obama’s campaign talking points. Bill’s comments were absolutely, completely innocuous. This infuriates me. I’m no Kathleen Parker fan, but I thank her for call everyone out on this bullshit.

  61. Guys,
I finally figured out why HRC & her team were suggesting BO as a possible vp choice- to get him to turn it down. Duh! I don’t know about some of you guys but I couldn’t understand why in the world they were doing that. Now nobody can pressure her to put him on the ticket because he already flatly said he wasn’t interested. I’m usually pretty quick w/ the political stuff but that just went right over my head for a few weeks.

  62. Obama’s Military Advisor Gen. Tony McPeak in an interview with PORTLAND OREGONIAN in March 2003: We will be in Iraq for a century

Is Iraq the last country we confront in the Middle East?

“Who wants to volunteer to get cross-ways with us? We’ll be there a century, hopefully. If it works right.”

“We’ve been in Europe now since 1945. We’ve been in Japan since 1945, been in Korea since 1950,” said McPeak, one of the United States’ most outspoken retired generals. “We haven’t had a Middle East occupation force, so this is a start of that. This is the way great powers operate; it’s the way Rome operated.”

  63. Hey all, I read in the comments of Hill’s blog, Ireland nobel peace prize winner, John Hume, endorsed Hill. Anyone ever hear about this?

Hey, alcina, good to see you. I just mentioned you last night. Morning all!

  64. No kidding, JAS! Gosh, someone needs to tell team Obama, Rome fell. This is just what McCain has been saying. Who the hell does BO have advising him?

  65. HillBilly, mj, JAS,

Obama is getting desperate to change the subject from JWright and he is unable to.

He is flailing wildly and he is also failing spectacularly.

  66. Fuck McPeak. He is a sexist asshole tard. I’d like to know why his ass hasn’t been fired after all the nasty stuff he said about Hillary? He’s 👿 ‘s dimestore knockoff of Clark, I guess.

    Here’s a funny from EavesdropDC:

    First I’ll show her my O face, then my O sign. Oh… Oh… Oh…

Clinton Advisers to Obama Camp: Stop Engaging in Negative Tactics

    Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

Clinton spokesmen Howard Wolfson and Phil Singer say Obama preaches one message at his rallies, yet his campaign is engaging in attacking Clinton’s character.

Calls on them to run “campaign they promised.”

Wolfson: “I would invite the Obama campaign to play the tape of their call yesterday at all of their rallies… play it on the loudspeakers as folks are coming into the event so they can see the kind of campaign they are really running.”

Singer: His campaign is “throwing as many bombs as they can” to deflect attention from questions within their own campaign.

Points to his campaign’s attack on Clinton on NAFTA, her national security credentials, her personal character, circulating the B. Clinton-Wright photo.

  68. TPS: I agreee with you. Most Americans can/will not get over the statement “God Damn America”, that will stay with Obama for a long time, (Clinton needs to push his lack of judgement issue).

I just want to see more damaging information to come forth, all in timely manner, as you know timming is everything and with PA in about 4 weeks… that is a life time !!! 🙂

  69. Well…guys Obama’s Muslim Indonesian father taught him this survuval tactic – when he was 6-8 yrs old…

page 40-41 – dreams of my father:

“Men take advantage of weakness in other men. they are just like countries in a way. the strong man takes the weak man’s land. He makes the weak man work in the fields. If the weak man’s woman is pretty, the strong man will take her”. …

    “which would you rather be?”….

“Better to be strong”… “if you can’t be strong, be clever and make peace with someone who’s strong. But always bteer to be strong yourself. Always”…

    Oh yeah….

  70. JAS,

One word to describe Obama, his supporters, and his campiagn:

This is the only and proper response to their tactics of late.

    read here:

Come on folks, lets make March even better for Hillary!

  72. OkieAtty,

The thing I posted about McPeak above is that thet is no difference between his position
    and that of McCain.

  73. TPS: And I beleive most people see throught that tactic.

I keep saying I can not wait for that next shoe to drop, Hannity (I hope) is doing his homework.

  74. Passport Investigation Scrutinizes Employee of Firm With a Tie to Obama

The State Department investigation into how and why the passport files of three presidential candidates were breached is scrutinizing an employee at a Virginia-based company, which is headed by an adviser to Barack Obama’s campaign.

The Washington Times, which broke the news Thursday that Obama’s files were improperly accessed, reported Saturday that the State Department inspector general’s internal probe will include polygraph tests of supervisors to determine whether there was a political motive behind the breaches.

The article said a focal point of the probe will be an employee who works for The Analysis Corporation and is still with the company. The firm is headed by John O. Brennan, an Obama adviser, FOX News confirms. The Times reported he advises the Democratic presidential candidate on intelligence and foreign policy matters.

The Times reported that the employee at TAC is the only individual who accessed both Obama’s and John McCain’s passport information. TAC decided to honor a State Department request to delay firing the consultant to give investigators time to conduct their investigation, the company said.

Two other contract workers were fired from Stanley Inc. after it was discovered they accessed Obama’s files. It could be challenging for the State Department to force them to answer questions, however. Unless they volunteer to cooperate, they would have to be served with a subpoena compelling them to testify before a grand jury.

Obama’s campaign at first questioned whether the senator was targeted for political reasons, but on Friday the State Department revealed Sens. Hillary Clinton and McCain also had their files improperly accessed. The State Department believes the cases could be just a matter of “imprudent curiosity,” but the internal investigation and a separate congressional probe are expected to delve into whether it was anything more.

“There are still many unanswered questions, including why these passport files were accessed and for what purpose,” Obama’s office said in a statement late Friday. “Sen. Obama believes a thorough investigation of these privacy breaches is necessary and expects one that is prompt and thorough.”

A fourth worker tapped into Clinton’s records as part of a training session last summer, the State Department said, and that violation was immediately recognized and the person admonished.

The Justice Department is monitoring the effort.

“None of us wants to have a circumstance in which any American’s passport file is looked at in an unauthorized way,” Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said as she offered apologies to the candidates.

The unauthorized digging into electronic government files on politicians recalled a 1992 case in which a Republican political appointee at the State Department was demoted for searching Bill Clinton’s passport records when Clinton was running against President George H.W. Bush.

Obama’s files were compromised on three occasions — Jan. 9, Feb. 21 and March 14. The department’s internal computer system “flags” certain records, including those of high-profile people, to tip off supervisors when someone tries to view the records without an appropriate reason.

It was not clear whether the employees saw anything other than the basic personal data such as name, citizenship, age, Social Security number and place of birth, which is required when someone fills out a passport application.

The files also include date and place of birth and address at time of application. Agency officials said the files generally would not list countries the person has traveled to.

Attorney General Michael Mukasey said the case has not yet been referred to the Justice Department for investigation, but he did not rule out the possibility of the Justice Department taking an independent look.

  75. Mrs. Clinton’s advisers struggle to explain fully her online surge, which has continued into March, saying it was unexpected to them, as well.

Duh. That’s because of us, bitches. We sent out e-mails, built websites, had other bloggers post our stuff. Seriously- we were the ones that termed ourselves “cashonistas.” Sweet!

  76. As posted above, Hillary HAS TAKEN THE LEAD nationally among Dems today, in Rasumssen’s daily tracking poll! 46 Clinton, 44 BHO. This demonstrates that as more is known about Obama’s relationship to Jeremiah Wright, the more the public dislikes him. His campaign is in freefall right now, and all the high-falutin’ speeches about race in America won’t save him.

  77. Struggled to explain? Gosh, they even make her financing sound negative. It’s because she never really tried previously. Low hanging fruit.

  78. Yes, the only person to blame for the Democratic party’s chaos is Howard Dean. If he had been rational, and allowed MI and FL Dems to have a voice, Hillary would have the lead right now, Obama would still be drowning due to the Wright fiasco, and the only “debate” would be whether Obama had fallen so far that he’d spoiled his shot at VP.

Instead, Howard Dean screwed everything up and has created a tainted Democratic primary, by disenfranchising voters in two CRUCIAL swing states.

  79. Saying they “struggle to explain fully” is the NY Times’s way of trying to make it sound like a bad thing.

Visiting the United States this week, Ireland’s prime minister, Bertie Ahern, offered a view more nuanced than either of the Democratic campaigns. In Lackawanna County, Pa., on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, Mr. Ahern said Mrs. Clinton had been “hugely helpful” in the peace process, but he stopped short of crediting her with a central role in the negotiations.

“She was the first lady of the United States, not a party leader in Northern Ireland,” Mr. Ahern, who has been in office since June 1997, told The Scranton Times-Tribune. “No one would expect her to get into the nitty-gritty of the process.” But, he added, “any fair observer would find that both Hillary and Bill Clinton made peace in Ireland a priority while they were in the White House and after.”

Representative Peter T. King, Republican of New York, was one of several members of Congress who tried to encourage the peace talks. Mr. King described Mrs. Clinton as “definitely a player and not just along for the ride.” He said it would be accurate to describe her as “a knowledgeable and very effective go-between” whom he recalled often seeing “huddled off to the side at receptions,” talking with the Irish parties to the peace negotiations, “trying to break down as many barriers as possible.”

Mr. King — who supports Senator John McCain of Arizona, the presumptive Republican nominee — mentioned one occasion in Washington when he was summoned to meet with the president for what he thought would be a conversation about domestic politics. Instead, he found Mr. and Mrs. Clinton talking with Gerry Adams, head of Sinn Fein, the political arm of the Irish Republican Army, about the decommissioning of weapons, then one of the main sticking points in implementing the Good Friday agreement.

  81. Yes, but Rasmussen is much more reliable than Gallup, and the overall trend is what matters, anyway.

  82. TPS: I agreee with you. Most Americans can/will not get over the statement “God Damn America”, that will stay with Obama for a long time, (Clinton needs to push his lack of judgement issue).

I just want to see more damaging information to come forth, all in timely manner, as you know timming is everything and with PA in about 4 weeks… that is a life time !!!

that is why it is VERY important that if DNC allows this election to be stolen by not recognising FL/MI now. we know who supports these “GOD DAMN AMERICA and GOD BARACK AMERICA” treason by wanting to be BO’s VP!

that VP is/will be a “GOD DAMN AMERICA” traitor!

We know who they are so far:

who else, my fellow Americans and friends, ask yourself… who else will be on this list of traitors.

To all my “typical american friends”!

    Ask yourself!

will it be Nancy, Gore, Edwards,!

Yes in this case it is ABSOLUTE GUILT BY ASSOCIATION since BO did not renounce this rev guy WRIGHT AWAY!

In BO”S word, he is the candidate who will be “WRIGHT ON DAY ONE”!

  83. mj, JAS,

See my post above on RASMUSSEN internals on Obama’s NET FAVORABILITY RATINGS.

That is a more useful indicator than day-to-day fluctuations in the horse race numbers.

  84. The Obama camp comparing BC to McCarthy, is so ridiculous. Is anyone, even taking it seriously?

BC does not = McCarthy, by any stretch of the imagination. Just another example, of how the Obama camp parses words, takes statements out of context, and attempts to cause inflammatory responses and reactions. This campaign is out of control.

  85. The statement Bill Clinton made didn’t mention BO.

But BO thinks every statement made must be about him.

  86. admin, you’ve got me partying HARD in here to that Sir Elton clip! Obama can kiss my ass. He’s so unelectable at this point, Woody Allen could probably beat him in a general election. We keep fighting for Hillary all the way!!!!!

  87. so an employee of obama’s team accessed the records? Wonder if something was tampered with? Wonder if something was changed, removed, etc.

  88. I don’t know if anyone saw my post yesterday, but I came across a connection between Exelon and Bill Richardson. It seems that Exelon is a major component of an LLC that in November jumped the last hoop for approval for the first nuclear reactor approved in 30 years…and that reactor will be built in New Mexico. I’m sure they’ll be plenty of grease on Richardson’s palms (ewww!).

  89. Hey mj! What “century in Iraq stuff”??? I’ve been on a mainstream media extreme boycott, other than Fox (and, how much of that can you watch without feeling dirty?) so I’m out of the loop! Going back to read now.

  90. Richardson calls out Clinton adviser
    Posted: 05:15 PM ET

Richardson’s backing was sought by both the Clinton and Obama campaigns.
(CNN) – Bill Richardson criticized a Clinton campaign adviser Friday for suggesting his endorsement of Barack Obama is insignificant.

“I resent the fact that the Clinton people are now saying that my endorsement is too late because I only can help with Texans — with Texas and Hispanics, implying that that’s my only value,” the New Mexico governor told CNN’s John King.

“That’s typical of some of his advisers that kind of turned me off.”Earlier Friday, Clinton campaign senior strategist Mark Penn said he thought Richardson’s endorsement came too late to make an impact.

“The time that he could have been effective has long since passed,” Penn told reporters on a conference call. “I don’t think it is a significant endorsement in this environment.”

In the interview Friday, Richardson also said he called Hillary Clinton Thursday to inform her of his decision to back Obama, a conversation he described as “painful.”

“It was painful and it wasn’t easy,” he said. “I’ve spoken to others who have had that same conversation and they say at the end, it’s not all that pleasant.

“The former Democratic presidential candidate declined to elaborate further on his conversation with Clinton.Last month, Chris Dodd — another former presidential candidate who decided to endorse Obama last month — said he had a “not comfortable” conversation with Clinton informing her of the news.

Also in the interview Friday, Richardson said he ultimately decided to back Obama because the Illinois senator has “something special.”

“I think that Sen. Obama has something special,” explained Richardson. “Something that can bring internationally America’s prestige back, that can deal with the race issue as he did so eloquently last week, that can deal with the domestic issues in a bipartisan way.”

Richardson, who held posts as the Secretary of Energy and the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. in President Clinton’s administration, also said he “owes a lot to the Clinton family but I served well. I paid it back in service to the country.”
Look who’s whinnig and crying now. I just don’t think Bill Richardson and John Edwards are going to endorse Hillary because of something John Kerry and others has said about showing weakness to the Muslim government and that Obama fit in their “New World Order” plans and Hillary does not.

I just don’t trust them and their williness to throw Gerry Ferrero under the bus of racisim, while John Kerry’s cynical explanation that Obama’s race is a benefit?

I think Hillary campaign has to be a grassroot push no matter what’s happens now…the “boys club” will frame this a Hillary FAULT if we lose not taking any responsibility or accountability in running such an inexperince, identity confused and bitter Obama.

  91. What is Richardson howling about? Screw his endorsement! He couldn’t help himself when he was still in the race!!! LMAO

  92. Sugar, it’s upthread. His military advisor said we will be in Iraq for a century. Made a positive comparison to Rome! Gee, the man doesn’t seem to understand why Rome fell.

  93. Ha Ha, good one 1950. How about Obama sitting in a Florida voting place tied to a chair with ropes that say:

While a voters line up to vote with ballots that say “McCain”

One of the voters has tee shirt on that says “Typical White Voter”

  94. Seems BO is really trying to push this mccarthyism stuff. I can never vote for someone who would call the only two term Dem pres in my lifetime fricken mccarthy:

  95. $768,405 in less than 24 hours folks.

Let’s get $1 million a day from here on out. We can do it. Spread the message, she needs our help to defeat the sorry ass bastards from the boyz social club.

  96. you know the more ignorant stuff they bring .. the less capable he looks. they are digging themselves.

you know the old saying .. give someone enough rope and they’ll hang themselves.

his arrogance will be part of his undoing. the pile on doesn’t work with America. the underdog is america’s sweetheart. Hillary is the underdog right now, fighting against the corrupt party men who want to push aside women and say “they’ll come with us once we shut out the other woman” .. WRONG, DEAD WRONG.

  97. this Mccarthy thing, you would think that the DNC would not want that said, no matter which candidate it was about?

  98. Obama keeps bashing Bill C and the 90’s but I bet you if he becomes the nominee the hypocrite won’t think twice about asking Bill C to campaign with him and raise money for him. I hope if that Bill C and Hillary tell him to shove it and endorse McCain. F him and the backstabbing Dems!

  99. Everybody I’m spoken with regarding Richardson endorsement is outraged that he’d say he was doing it because he thought Obama was “special”.

The reaction I’m finding is that this is the one endorsment that will actually turn on Obama. They see Richardson as doing this as a deliberate slam to Hillary and that is not playing well with people. Look for Hills numbers to raise next polling cycle. This is just sinking in, outrage at his loyalty, and at the criteria he used to jump ship. People are beginning to catch on .. the outrageous claims towards Bill Clinton are not going unnoticed either.

  100. I just posted at

Easy comment form, no reg needed.

I wonder just which sermon clips Mayfield has seen. Even Obama has been ‘denouncing’ some of them, claiming he had no idea such things were being preached and would have left long ago had he known.

Whether Obama is telling the truth or not, the issue is his lack of judgement and lack of vetting. A candidate for President (or his staff) SHOULD know what his 20-year spiritual advisor is preaching.

This isn’t just about an emotional flap in the US; people in the Middle East are in danger of violence and stories about a US President’s spiritual advisor supporting anti-Jewish factions can inflame things over there.

Obama is not ready for prime time! If there’s any hope for his future, it’s to drop out now and hope this is forgotten by 2016.

  101. The new tag we need to hit Obama with is un-American. His campaign comparing Bill to McCarthy – un-American. His campaign nixing the Michigan revote – un-American. His campaign playing the race card – un-American. His spiritual advisor – un-American. Keeping telling people this and they will believe it. And you want to know why they will believe it? Because it is the truth!

  102. And yes Obamabots I posted that one for you. We are taking your guy down (though he’s doing a pretty good job of it himself).

  103. HillBillyLover – Oh so now according to Donna Obama isn’t black? It just keeps on getting more pitiful and more pitiful.

  104. dot: This is just sinking in, outrage at his loyalty, and at the criteria he used to jump ship. People are beginning to catch on .. the outrageous claims towards Bill Clinton are not going unnoticed either.

they are sinking themselves and when you think about it, it’s the best way for them to go.

  105. 1950democrat Says:
    March 22nd, 2008 at 3:03 pm

This isn’t just about an emotional flap in the US; people in the Middle East are in danger of violence and stories about a US President’s spiritual advisor supporting anti-Jewish factions can inflame things over there.

Great point 1950Dem. People who are trying to discredit this fiasco are not thinking rationally.

  106. Pray and Meditate for Hillary:

I’m calling for another pray or meditate time for Hillary on Sunday March 23 at 6:00 pm PST. Pray, meditate, light candles, reach out to the spiritual world in any way that is right for you.

    Please pass this message on.

    Peace and thanks.

  107. mj,

Obama is digging deeper by comparing President Clinton to Joe McCarthy. This will outrage Clinton supporters
and for sure will split the party.

Obama calls the Clintons racists and now he has called them McCarthyite.

This is what we have to say and put Obama and his supporters on the defensive.

  108. I’m sure some terrorist recruiter is splicing together Wright video right now. From my last blog at politwix.com:

“To think that just five days after that devastating event Wright was preaching “God Damn America!” to his congregation is enraging. Americans watching clips of those sermons may have realized on a visceral level that Wright himself looked much like a terrorist — so much hatred and venom inside.

Obama’s speech did little if anything to address how he feels personally about this incident to calm queasiness that he might also share these views.”

  109. I wonder what John Lewis thinks of the whole Rev. Wright issue? ….. Oh that’s right, he has been silent…. not a word of for support Obama, that speaks volumes!

  110. Good question JAS. Does anyone know if he even called Hillary to tell her that he was switching his support? Or did he just do it?

  111. Also any idea how munch money the Elton John will raise???? I wish Barbara Strisand(sp) would also give a concert.

  112. I don’t know but I sent an email to the campaign and told them to record the concert and then sell dvds as an additional fund raising device.

  113. tcbequalityactions: I beleive he called…. and from my understanding it was a very plesant conversation.

  114. tcbequalityactions, John Lewis did call, and he didn’t trash Hillary about the call the way Richardson did. he’s friends with Hillary and that doesn’t change.

Love the idea about the recordings. How much would that cost them?

  115. mj – Not sure the cost but I am sure there would be a good size profit. Glad to hear that John Lewis did the honorable thing. I had to ask as there has been a lot of un-honorable actions in this election.

  116. Lewis just said a couple of days ago that the two would make his dream ticket and he declined to comment on who she be on top of that ticket, which is interesting. He lcearly doesn’t share Brazile’s bizarre views of Party “civil war”.

  117. I just read on TM in the comments that Wolfson called the McCarthy charge outrageous and asked for a retraction.

  118. The accusation of McCarthyism comes across as another desperate effort to distract from Wright’s hate speech.

  119. Funny. I was just reading through some posts on Hillary’s website and someone had already called for a prayer/vigil/meditate for Sunday at 9:00 pm EST. Same time as the one I called for!

  120. Hey! (by the way, I’m new)

I came in here because mydd.com has way too many BHO people coming in and posting lies about the HRC campaign, and it makes me sick. They need to stay in DailyKos (DailyJOKES) where they belong, and where no one will read them.

ALSO, I’m really mad at the eBaums site with “anonymous” posters making all sorts of disgusting videos about HRC. I e-mailed the webmaster, but I got no reply. They’re so wrong and offensive, it hurts. Needless to say, I bet they’ll be begging for Hillary Clinton when their only other choices are Obombi and McLAME.

  121. BTW, I know I should refrain by complaining here, but it really wasn’t smart for Hillary’s campaign to raise so much GE money back in the spring. She really could use that for the nomination instead, because that’s $21.5 million she can’t touch.

  122. Someone just forwared this email to me:

    > On CNN Jessica Yellin and Candy Crowley just said that while Obama
    > likes to say he’s the one to stay above the fray, his campaign can
    > often be more negative.
    > This is a watershed moment in my opinion.
    > Also they keep replaying the clip of Obama pouting with his arms
    > folded as General McPeak bashes Bill Clinton.

    Anyone watching CNN?

  123. Paula, the GE donors were nearly all primary donors maxed out. It’s also a good argument with SD’s. She already has plenty in the bank.

  124. mj, I just mean that Obama had $33 mill for the primary after February while she has $11 million. That’s half of what she has set aside for the GE.

  125. Paula, again the GE donors, had already maxed out in primary donations. Collecting money for the primary and GE from the same people is just multi-tasking. He has more primary donations because his younger fans have far more expendable income than the average Hillary supporter.

  126. I’ve been sending positive letters to editors of Oregon newspapers today as to why I think Hillary should be President. In one paper someone had written a piece called “Obama needs to find a new church.”

  127. Most of BO’s supporters and a majority of Americans probably have never heard of McCarthyism and don’t have a clue of what it is.

    Just like Richardson. 👿

  128. Sugar,

Yes, people are so focused on US pundit flaps, they don’t remember the whole world is watching.

Obama tried to score some point here last summer by threatening to invade Pakistan — and Pakistan people burned him in effigy over there.

  129. Wasn’t Richardson’s endorsement so fake? I figure he endorsed BO once it was determined Hill would not need him as VP, because she was so more popular among latinos than him.

  130. Meant to add:

But EVERYONE (or at least 80%) of Americans know who Reverend Jeremiah Wright is and that BO’s granny was a ‘typical white person.’

  131. tcbequalityaction,

not that i had to say this, but i will.
this is not to critisize you, but i wont be doing any prayer vigil thing for hillary.

i absolutely have a big problem with church and state, or politics and religion bundling…
i cant stand that rev wright preached politics from the pulpit, and dont believe anyone else should mix the two…
    anyway, sorry cant join in…

  132. That is ok tcb, it is just for those that want to.

A lot of us meditated for Hillary before Texas and Ohio and an it just seems like a good idea to send her our good energy. Especially because we tend to get so wrapped up in anger towards Obama that could be better directed toward lifting up Hillary.

I’m the first to admit I get bogged down in the negativity at times during this race.

  133. Peeps, had a call .. if you want to GOTV in Pa any time from now till Primary ..

Please call: 215-625-0329 .. they are still accepting volunteers

I wish I could go, but I am phonebanking so I hope that helps here.

  135. Mr. Obama! You leave my Bill C. alone. You are no match, either physically, mentally, or in any way shape or form!

You are a racist, name-calling bully!

    GO HOME!

  136. That’s interesting. Wasn’t it someone from BO’s camp who tried to say McCain couldn’t run because he was not born in the US? Or, was that just the foolish media?

  137. Anybody notice how BO seems to have given up on PA? I know he’s going to spend $ on ads, but he hasn’t done nearly the kind of campaigning HRC has. His inability to win the big democratic or swing states has got to send a huge red flag to the SDs.

  138. I’m up to the letter C with the Oregon papers. What is everyone else doing today to help Hillary?

  139. @mj

  140. Six members of my group created a telephone bank for Hillary this afternoon. We telephoned PA for four hours, and the reception to our advocacy for Hillary was quite favorable. My group in NC also has a website, and we are scheduling fundraisers. We also purchased a large number of signs. I must say I am impressed with the members of my group: they are committed, and they are “in it to win it” for Hillary.

  141. The files also include date and place of birth and address at time of application.

Sounds to me like we have an astrology buff in the state department. 😉

Psssttt…hey state department guy, pass that time of birth over here!

  142. Idunn, this was a contractor actually, not a state department employee. I’m pretty sure it was just curiosity but the connection with an Obama advisor caught my attention.

Townsend, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy and a former Maryland lieutenant governor, will appear with the Clintons at Dyngus Day and Solidarity Day events in South Bend.

Townsend lost the gubernatorial election in Maryland five years ago.

Dyngus Day is a Polish holiday that celebrates the end of Lent, but in South Bend it’s more of a political holiday where residents can meet and talk to elected leaders.

The former president also is scheduled to make stops at “Solutions for America” rallies Monday in Rochester and Logansport. His schedule for the day ends with a 7:30 p.m. appearance at a West Lafayette High School rally.

Chelsea Clinton will be joined by Astin, the star of the Notre Dame football movie “Rudy,” during an appearance in Bloomington. The two will appear at 6:30 p.m. at the Grand Foyer at Indiana University Ballroom, according to a campaign spokesman.

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton toured the state Thursday, and her husband also made appearances on Tuesday. The New York senator is battling Barack Obama for Indiana’s 72 delegates. The state will hold its primary May 6.

Obama, a senator from Illinois, held a town hall meeting March 15 at Plainfield High School.

  144. pulch, good work, I have to say the pressure for you just got a lot greater, with Bill C saying NC could be decider.

  145. hope for great voter turnout in PA close to 2.5 million and getting 60% of those vote.. and she will have 500K popular vote from PA…

  146. Good Afternoon Hillary Lovers!

Rainy, dreary day here in Florida…been painting a mural in a bathroom all day. How is everyone?

  147. I love how Bill Richardson is being tauted as Hispanic when it’s been only the last year so when most people found out he was hispanic…and he really couldn’t generate much support in the latino community.

  148. pulch, Pa has been a fabulous place for me as well. I have been telling everyone to try to call and tell the voters that their votes are very, very important.

where did you see Bill C say that North Carolina might decide it? Hmm..

  149. Great pulchritude!

There are a couple on new groups like your here in Northern California. We are still working here even though we have already voted for the primary.

I can also tell you that up to about a week ago it seemed like every where I turned there was an Obama bumber sticker or Obama sign. Now sometimes I see none or 2-3. Very, very different from a week ago. And this is Obama country (he carried Alameda and San Francisco counties).

Also, had a man chase me in the parking lot today. Ends up he likes my Hillary bumper sticker and wanted to talk about supporting Hillary.

    Feel the earth shake?

  150. Just catching up on Passport-gate, Richardson-gate, Arms-crossed-and-sulking-gate and fund-raising-gate. Had CNN on for 30 minutes and have not see Hillary once. But Plenty ‘O Bambi!

  151. Hey Dot…yes, I saw that! Good for us, and someone, OkieAtty, I think, credited US, and rightly so…for getting the word out. And I know there are many other great groups doing this for Hillary too…AND her online Blog. Those folks are ALL IN too!

  152. We went to Abingdon, Va. today becayse the Dixie Pottery is going out of sale and had a 1.2 price sale. After we got our stuff, we got into the check out, and the young girl at the register noticed my HRC hat. She smiled and asked, “Think you’re girl is gonna pull this off?” I smailed back and said, “It’s in the bag.” She laughed, shook her had and said, “I don’t know what kind of idiot is voting for Obama.” I figured I had an opening there so I asked, “So, will you be voting for Hillary in the GE?” she giggled and said, “No, I’m voting for McCain…BUT I’d be able to sleep at night if Hillary won.”

I just nodded my head and told her I wished her guy luck. The funny thing is, when we were walking to the car, Hubby turned to me and said, “Damn, Hillary IS a uniter. She’s uniting Democrats and Republicans everywhere .”

  153. Great Story, Idunn. Nice to hear that and thanks for sharing.

Hey…I have a question…If I do a MyDD page, can I link to to a moneybomb for Hillary?

  154. nikki…I’m born and bred WvGal! But I live in Tn now. I did get a call from the campaign today about volunteering in PA .. they are calling a lot of the phone bankers to see if they might go for foot soldiers.

Anyhoo, I told them I would love to phonebank and GOTV in Wva and they don’t have the lists ready yet. Said to be sure to put in online what states you want to work and they’ll go from there.

Wva is for Hillary. They won’t be bamboozled or hoodwinked, these are rugged, hardworking people and they know you got to WORK to get stuff done and they appreciate her and Bill’s commitment to the country.

Everyone I’ve talked to is angry about the way Hillary is being treated by the media and by the party.

Nancy Pelosi is taking HEAT big time .. did you see the article where she is trying to say she is “uncommitted”…We need to keep calling that bitches office.

  155. just spoke to a Clinton staffer – and friend – working in Scranton, PA – says, it’s Hillary country out there with people with Hillary signs all over their windows – he said the St. Patricks day parade was very encouraging, 3/4 of people turned out with Hillary signs. that the Rodhams live only 10 mins away from the office.

Anyway, our goal in PA is to WIN BIG – not only to bolster her electability argument but to bolster the argument that he is unelectable. So, keep phoning.

  156. judst one right now, but I developed an email relationship with the WOMAN that is producing them, and I am happy to pay her for another and have it shipped withmine

If you want one, email me and I can send it (for cheaper) when it gets here.

  157. Hey guys, send James Carville some support for his comments:

An act of betrayal,” said James Carville, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton and a friend of Mr. Clinton.

“Mr. Richardson’s endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic,” Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week.

  158. That’s such a sweet offer, Spacegirl. Thanks. But I think I’m gonna go ahead and get a few off ebay myself. I know my Dad would love one, and a few friends will get a kick of them. Thanks for the offer, though. 🙂

Ooooh, wouldn’t it be great if we could mount a challenger to Pelosi in her home district!! Obama did that to John Lewis down south and Lewis caved. Is there time to get a challenger on the SF ballot??? Or even try? A lot of signatures on such a petition might scare some sense into Pelosi, even if it couldn’t get officially on. Or a ballot resolution for fairness and seating FL/MI?

  161. by the way, three people with whom i spoke in PA claimed they would vote for hillary, for they are “typical white” people.

  162. Kingsgrove,
LOL. I’d love to see Carville officially join the Clinton camp. He’s the best! Also I wonder if SNL will have anything on the BO/Wright controversy?

  163. Holy smokes terrorists, Rezco and the whole shebang! Another explosion getting ready to rock ObamaLand?

  164. B Merryfield,

It’s getting to the point that everytime you post I have a smile on my face! 🙂

Obama’s connections are mindboggling and terrifying at the same time!

  165. Ok Idunn….the offer stands if you see another one when Obama makes another gaffe.

Linfar, thanks for the info re money bomb

    B. Merry…wow on the article. This guy is just stinky as…well..B.O.

coupled with the communist learning and teaching in his Hawaii days, he is looking like a regular Marxist

Is this story CREDIBLE enough to send aloft into the wire services and news outlets?

  166. An insightful MyDD diary by a Latino activist

Inside Reaction from Latinos on Richardson
by latinfighter, Sat Mar 22, 2008 at 12:12:05 PM CST

Disclosure:[ I am a Hispanic activist & a Sen. Hillary Clinton supporter. I will support Sen. Barack Obama in November if he is the nominee. ]

Since the mainstream media is feeding the public perspectives about the Latino vote from an outsiders viewpoint, let me share some key aspects from the Latino viewpoint.

  167. Jan…better to call it that, than what they are TRYING to characterize it as….the “McC” word and Patriotism

  168. LOL…ummm…don’t some of you read Rexkowatch?! B Merry has had all this info on her blog for quite some time now. Shame on you guys…YOU MUST CHECK REZKOWATCH DAILY!!

End of the wrist slapping. For now.

  169. How in the world did all these ticket brokers get tickets for Elton Johns fundraiser? Selling them on Ebay in some cases half of what they cost on Hillary’s website and you know they are making a profit on them.

  170. kingsgrove,

Emailed Carville with thanks. I wish he’d come on board as a consultant. He’s the best.

  171. So what does the Gov. Richarson endorsement do for Latino voters? Particularly for the 70% of who are currently supporting Sen. Clinton ? Not very much. How can he sway Clinton supporters when we actually chose her over him. Its not like we were supporting him as our 1st choice & he is now asking us to change our support. Governor Bill Richardson NEVER owned the support of the Latino community in the first place, so how can he give it away ?

Damn, that pretty much says it all.

  172. I’m not sure how many of you all post at Hillary’s official blog but it looks like a lot of people are posting testimonials and talking about contributing. I think this is really smart .. the more people see that there is a lot if interest on her own blog the more $ will come in.

  173. basil .. I did too now LOL. We must have reached our goal. They will most likely put up another goal soon. I see the testimonials and a big THANK YOU.

I just went over and posted a big thank you to Hillary on her blog. I think the more active we make that place be the better also..a lot of people are not aware of this place

LOVE IT re: Richardson and the Latino vote. He wasn’t even a 24 hour news cycle LOL

  174. news.aol.com/political-machine/straw-poll

Have you all participated in this aol straw poll? Clinton is winning in all states except HI and WI.

  175. That MYDD diary is really enlightening.

Fact # 1: Sen. Barack Obama cannot win the Presidency without at least carrying a MINIMUM of 70% of the Latino vote in November.

On at least three occasions in February & one in March, Obama’s Latino key leaders in the West Coast & the Midwest have explained this in Spanish radio & Spanish language TV.

Here are some key pointers from the Obama camp.

    A) They fully expect that Sen. Obama may receive less white votes in November than any of the previous three Democratic presidential candidates. Its only a critical question of by how much less white support he will receive. They have pointed out key white voting percentages:

2004-John Kerry received = 41% of all white voters
2000- Al Gore received = 42% of all white voters
1996-Bill Clinton = 43% of all white voters

  176. i received this in my inbox five minutes ago

“On Obama’s web-site there is a fraternity doing voter registration at a Charlotte area Wal-Mart soon. ”

Is anyone surprised? White fraternity boys volunteering for Obama?

  177. Idunn,

B Merry and you guys are MUCH smarter than me! I find it difficult to follow the story, it’s so complicated. I get bits and pieces of it but Merry is a genius, in my book, for being able to follow all those plot strands.

    But I’ll keep trying.

  178. That’s the first time anywhere I’ve seen an acknowledgment that Obama will get less white support than Gore, Kerry and Bill.

  179. The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is a former CIA official and a consultant on foreign policy to the Barack Obama campaign

  180. Hey there are some pretty decent headlines out there right now for Hillary. If you go to Yahoo you can vote and keep her good stories on top..

Also,, here is one that might be useful to keep bumped up..Talks bout the differnt in pastors

  181. One of the things I’d like us all to remember is to not buy into the MSM narrative about race in this campaign. I don’t believe for a second that white voters in a DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY are voting against BO because he is black. That’s a popular thing to say for a lot of Obama supporters in the media- that Hillary’s white working & middle class voters, as well as hispanics, have a problem voting for a black man. While I’m sure that is the case for some its not true for most. I don’t think he appeals to these voters because he never addresses their issues. He never talks about specifics, its just all this vague “hope” and “new politics” crap. Even with the Wright mess I think any voter is perfectly justified in saying I’m not voting for someone whose spiritual mentor has spewed such hate about Americans of a different race, and apparently at least one black person (thanks to MJ for alerting me to his Condi Rice insult), from the pulpit.

  182. The negativity in Obama’s campaign is off the charts. The headlines I’m seeing won’t help his “unity” theme any.

Bet Olgerman is on oxygen for sure now that they find the firm that got the passports is tied to Obama!!!

  183. nikki22, agreed. He’s an african american Bill Bradley, which explains his bizarre base of african americans and elite white liberals.

  184. I just posted at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/20/AR2008032003022_Comments.html

Pretty decent discussion, post went up quick, lots of decent posts that need ‘recommend.’ (I had registered previously.)

Imo the key to this sort of situation is that the DNC needs to find some ‘punishment’ for disobedient states that does not impact their voters or any candidates. This current situation would not be such a problem if the nomination were not perhaps hanging on it.

A constructive solution in future would be to let the pledged delegates from disputed states phone in votes for the nominee they were pledged to, but not allow them to attend the convention for further wheeling and dealing.

One solution for the current situation not often enough mentioned is that the DNC make an exception to its June 10 deadline.

Obama is whining that his name did not appear in MI (he took it off himself!) and that he didn’t campaign in Florida. Both these actions were his own choice. His behavior in Michigan shows that he was gaming the system: taking his name off, then coming in to campaign for “Uncommitted.” He should not be rewarded now for his choices then. (Imo his “Uncommitted” delegates should be seated AS uncommitted, and let Obama try to persuade them to in fact vote for him.)

Hillary has supported seating of both states all along; all she agreed to was not to campaign there. She is looking ahead to the November election and later, trying to keep the Florida and Michigan voters from leaving the Democratic side in anger at disenfranchisement.

  185. Barack cares about as much for PA voters as he does for those in MI and FLA.

The word I’ve heard is that when he spoke in Scranton, people thought he came off badly. And then afterwards, they said he was rude.

He’s running away from PA. What a joke. He can’t win PA and OH, and North Dakota isn’t going to help against McCain.

  189. mj,
Exactly! That’s why I’ve never understood his campaign’s contention that he has this broad appeal when he actually doesn’t. His base couldn’t possibly net him 270 electoral votes against McCain. Especially against McCain because the independents who supposedly love BO so much also like John M too.

  190. @nikki

“because the independents who supposedly love BO so much also like John M too.”

and a hellofalotuv Hillary supporters nationwide

  192. Idunn,

Thought YOU were the original screaming banshee???? *LOL*

Didya see HWNSNBS’s profile way up thread? I wanna check the 28th, too.

  193. I still can’t get over Obambi’s advisors being behind PassportGate.

His team just keeps giving. Priceless

  194. nikki,

I’d love to see Carville officially join the Clinton camp.

His wife would gut him like a carp.

  195. mj,

I wanna ask you something. Could you email me at hilaryhawke@mhcable.com.

thanks for the testimonials. I’m in the same boat. this is the first time in my life I’ve ever contributed to a political campaign.

  196. nikki22,

I think most Americans make educated decisions when they decide who to vote for. The media might want to make this about race. Obama definitely wants to make this about race. That is an insult to everyone. There are enough reasons not to vote for Obama that race doesn’t even need to come into it.

If he had no connections to Rezko, Wright, terrorists, etc… then this wouldn’t be an issue at all.

  197. count me in to as a Virgin to contributing. I’ve never felt drawn to any candidate like I have been to Hillary. I really liked John Edwards first campaign and I was bummed that he didn’t win, sort of helped that he become the vp nominee. However, nobody in politics has inspired me like Hillary..she has worked hard for us, she and Bill. She is ready to lead .. Day 1.

  198. LOL…been frantically looking for my KC masterpiece potato chip that looks EXACTLY like George Washington on the dollar bill….just heard the girl with the “IIllinois” Corn Flake got $1300.00 on ebay! LMAO

Can’t find it…but it IS here somewhere! LOL

  199. I’m still foggy on whether Hillary’s passport was accessed by this bunch or not.

There is more to this story I believe. I wonder if they were able to go in and delete info and stuff.

  200. According to the CNN article .. Hillary’s passport WAS breeched by this firms employees.

Boys and girls I believe that Obamacamp was trying to set Hillary up for something and it backfired on them.

Why would that firm allow 3 breeches without reporting. Something smells fishey about this whole thing.

  201. NMerryfield: From your post at 6:08

Do these allegations have hard proff and a money trail. I know I sound as though I don’t beleive this, but in order for it to stick and go further MSM is going to hae to have some “meat amd potatos”

This great informations…. I just want it to “stick” and bring Obama down!!!

  202. Same firm according to how I read the article. They were “training” when they snooped on hers .. and it was Last year. Why did it take so long for this to be known?

Also, the guy who owns the firm is Obama’s foreign policy spokeman AND intelligence spokesman. He was just awarded a big contract to do passport security for the government.

  203. John McCain would definitely have an advantage when it comes to Indies/Seniors/Veterans/Reagan Dems/Latinos not to mention MI and FL voters – IF Obama were the nominee. It won’t be pretty. Thank God that won’t happen. And thank God the Democrats have someone as unselfish as Hillary to save them even after they spit right in her face….

  204. Tps: another -gate

    Did I miss any others?

  205. Everyone should contact Carville and thank him. Ask for his help.

WHOA! Maybe THAT’S what the 28th has in store for her! I never even thought of it having to do with Carville!

last night Drudge had a headline posted that a former someone to some where who was appointed by Bill Clinton had been with state but left last year and was one of the people “involved”…as they were trying to pin this on Hillary supporters

that was at about 9am yesterday for the dateline before ObamaAdviserPassport-gate made the headlines.

I do not believe these two things are related. Hillary’s was LAST JANUARY (2007) or something like that. My guess….Obama thinks he will be running against McCain and someone snooped (from his team) then smokescreened Obama’s passport to throw them off the trail. Perhaps he looked at Hillary’s too, but Olgerman and Company and the Team that couldnt shoot straight were on this like typical white on rice, so loudly they doth protest!..

    they did it themselves.

  209. Isn’t there a Michelle-gate somewhere???

Ayup…”for the first time in my life, I’m proud of my country.” 🙄

I noticed something quickly. The poll tallies votes by state and the individual state
numbers seem representative of what we would in general expect. She is leading by big numbers
    in PA

  211. IDunn,

here is the relevant question. HAVE THE FAINTING INCIDENTS AT HIS RALLIES STOPPED?

That would be the give away.

  212. Wish I knew the answer to that, TPS. I sure haven heard of any, but then , I can’t stomach watching one of his rallies, so I dunno.

  213. Idunn,

Wow, what a great video? It makes all the relevant points in such a simple and understandable way.

  214. BO is trying to buy Respectability,Experience,Religion,Trustand the Presidency with words from his uncle and pastor Wright.REZCO supplies money and a Mansion.Dice rolls are a losing choice. He is a shadow candidate with a shallow Resume. What we don’t see.is what we might get. if we are not careful.I am a typically white man.I am not afraid of passing someone on a dark street but I sure am afraid of having BO pass on to the Whitehouse. We need Hillary.

  215. And there are some really bad, vicious racist one that I won’t link here. Scary. But I never saw anything like that before Rev. Riding Dirty came to the front.

  216. A hilarious post from Tom Maguire on Obama’s feigned outrage at Bill Clinton praising Hilalry and McCain

    March 22, 2008
    Affirmative Action Campaigning
Check out this latest outrage on the Democratic trail – Bill Clinton is now “Joe McCarthy” because he praised his wife and John McCain but forgot to praise Obama as well. Oh, dear -such selective praise might negatively impact Obama’s self-esteem, and none of us want that, now do we?

Wild Bill’s offensive, reprehensible comment is here:

“I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country,” said Clinton, who was speaking to a group of veterans Friday in Charlotte, N.C. “And people could actually ask themselves who is right on these issues, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics.”

How dare he praise two candidates and not the third! And this during a Presidential campaign! [But why did Clinton single out “this” election year? Is he really attacking John Kerry’s patriotism?] The Obama Camp’s reaction was swift, measured, and thoughtful:

[Retired Air Force Gen. Merrill “Tony”] McPeak, a former chief of staff of the Air Force and currently a co- chair of Obama’s presidential campaign, said that sounded like McCarthy.

“I grew up, I was going to college when Joe McCarthy was accusing good Americans of being traitors, so I’ve had enough of it,” McPeak said.

Clearly it is time to extend the Obama Rules – any praise of Hillary for any quality she might posses that is not immediately coupled with similar praise of Barack equals criticism of Barack for a deficiency in that quality. Perhaps the FCC can fold that into a revived Equal Time rule – whenever one of her surrogates praises Hillary they must devote equal time to praising Barack.

As an example of Compliant Campaigning, let’s all look forward to Bill Clinton speaking on Mother’s Day:

Hillary has been a wonderful wife and devoted mother for years. And let me add that Barack has been a wonderful husband and devoted father, as far as I know. No, strike that qualifier! He has been Mr. Wonderful, and who could doubt it?

Do not scoff at me. If Bill were to praise Hillary’s marital and parenting skills while overlooking Barack’s that would be the worst sort of racial pandering, playing on unspoken prejudices of black abandonment. C’mon – when I’m right, I’m right.

Left unanswered – how will this work in the general election? If Republicans praise John McCain as a hero and patriot without similarly praising Barack, will they also be accused of McCarthyism? I think we know the answer.

MORE: The Captain thinks this will dust-up will hurt the Obama people with their military surrogates. I don’t know – I think it hurts the Obama people with the three folks who were still watching this campaign with a straight face.

PILING ON: Can we count on Oliver Willis? Yes We Can!

(File this under “How Soon They, i.e,. We, i.e., I Forget” – was Oliver’s site motto “Like Kryptonite to Logic”? Or perhaps “Like Magnetite to Stupid”? Troubling…)

KEEP ST. PATRICK ALIVE! Was it only five days ago we were all wearing the green? And now this “McCarthy” attack introduces deplorable and divisive anti-Irish rhetoric into the campaign.

But McCarthy is part of the American story. We can no more disown him than we can disown the Gimp…

  217. ya’ll the money bar is back up! 768,705 in less than 24 hours. YES WE CAN DELIVER ONE MILLION BY TOMMORPW

  218. Idunn….i just sent that rezko-slum video to Oprah, and asked her why SHE AND OBAMA and the CONGREGATION of 8000 at Pastor Wright’s church did not speak out when Obama helped rezko get $100 million dollars and let these places go. I said THESE ARE AMERICANS LIVING HERE! WHY DID YOU NOT SPEAK OUT?!

  219. The thing I like the most about the “Obama’s Forgotten People” video is that it shows the map with all those foreclosures on Rezmar housings. I find it hard to believe that if Americans REALLY knew and undertood that Obama helped GET Rezko these contracts, and was pocketing cash from Rezko while these people went without heat, water, garbage pickup, they wouldn’t run his sleazy ass out of town on a rail. But you try to tell the Obamatons the truth, and they say you’re making it all up. You can show them copies of the damned letter he wrote for Rezmar…doesn’t matter. You can show them the pictures…doesn’t matter. You can point them to the info from the Chicago Sun and the Chicago Tribune and all they will say is that it isn’t Obama’s fault that Chicago is so bad. WTF?! Nobody is talking about Chicago as a whole, retards, we’re talking about the 13th District, the one OBAMA, KING OF HOPE AND CHANGE himself is responsible for!!

Who speaks for the people he’s fucked over and over again? Him? Nope…HRC supporters, that’s who. Now you tell me, what the fuck is wrong with THIS picture?? 🙄

  220. Do not scoff at me. If Bill were to praise Hillary’s marital and parenting skills while overlooking Barack’s that would be the worst sort of racial pandering, playing on unspoken prejudices of black abandonment. C’mon – when I’m right, I’m right.

    ROTFLMAO! Love it, TPS.

  221. Idunn…I doubt it will ever get to her

but I was PLEADING with her, like a huge fan who had been deeply disillusioned with her and Obama…
WHY OPRAH, WHY? HOw could YOU let this happen?!?!?! WHY OPRAH?! WHY?!

  222. Maybe, Oprah can do a “Big Give” show in that neighborhood.

Guess Oprah cares more about the people living in Africa than the people living in squalor in her own city. 🙄

  223. Ed Morrisey chimes in on Obama’s feigned outrage:

It’s hard to figure what McPeak found so intolerable, or intolerant, about Clinton’s remarks. He didn’t say that the Democrats didn’t have two candidates who love the nation, just that it would be good to focus on the issues instead of what Clinton sees as irrelevant issues. In fact, that construction makes it clear that he found the controversy over Reverend Jeremiah Wright as part of that “other stuff” that distracts from the issues.
In any case, the charge of McCarthyism is not just overblown, but entirely inaccurate — and a military man should know the difference. Clinton didn’t accuse Obama of anything, and certainly not of treason. But McPeak has now made an accusation, and one that will not endear him to the party establishment that has depended on the Clintons for their careers and their fundraising. If the Democrats want to win anything in November, they need Bill on the stump, and having Obama’s campaign accusing him of being the next Joe McCarthy damages the brand, not to mention tarnishes the idea of returning the White House to the supposed halcyon days of Democratic control.

If the Hillary Clinton campaign desires, they can make this a serious issue — and it’s hard to see why they’d pass up the chance. Obama can’t afford to lose his military surrogates, who give him all of the credibility he has as a candidate for Commander-in-Chief with no military or executive experience. They can pressure him to give up McPeak, and the longer Obama keeps him in place, the longer they can argue to the superdelegates that Obama will damage the Democrats if nominated. After the hypocritical way Obama’s campaign went after Geraldine Ferraro, they have this kind of fight coming.

  224. Idunn…that seems like it is going to be the whole thrust of any Obama Administration.

First exec order? Hot water and plumbing for Granny in Kenya

Second? Lose white granny in Hawaii’s SS checks

  225. Not to mention the fact that Obama can give $10,000 to his bigot, hate spewing minister, but hey, fuck the people he’s being PAID to give a shit about.

God, it just fucking infuriates me to the point where, if I could ever get my hands on him, I kick his nuts right up into his throat. And walk away feeling GREAT about it!

  226. BMerry-cudos to you for this excerpt. Like a Lucchese Family Capo I refused to do business with at JFK Airport once told me: “Everybody’s gotta eat”. That has a nice ring to it. In fact, it can be his affirmative defense when and if the fickle finger of fate points to him. In other words “Mr. Prosecutor: even if all your dirty lies are true I am still not guilty because everybody has got to eat–even an Illinois state senator”.

Kass turned to former Illinois U.S. Sen. Peter Fitzgerald for wisdom:

“What do you call that Illinois political class that’s not committed to any party, they simply want to make money off the taxpayers?” Fitzgerald said. “You know what to call them.”

“The Illinois Combine,” Fitzgerald said. “The bipartisan Illinois political combine. And all these guys being mentioned, they’re part of it.”
And who are “these guys being mentioned”?, RezkoWatch asks.

Well, quite simply put, most of them have been connected in one way or the other with 2008 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama dating to at least 1995 when he ran for the Illinois State Senate. They have been—and some still are—colleagues, campaign contributors, and fellow travelers along Obama’s meteoric rise in both Illinois and national politics, a veritable “who’s who” of the “Illinois Combine”.

  227. TPS, send that to the campaign tips line…it’s pretty good thought

and on top of Passportgate and their shrill accusatory tone, it shows them for the fools they are. VERY unprofessional

  228. Sorry if I’ve offended anyone with my language tonight. But sometimes the “fucks” just gotta fly, ya know?

  229. TPS…go to Hillary Website, go to the tab where Press releases are and pich Hillary Hub…

tips is in the top right corner

  230. There has been a bill introduced in Congress, by Obama for approx 850 billion dollars in aid to Africa. I know, this is a large number, and I could be wrong. But, it has the support of several Senators, including Dianne Feinsten. Wouldn’t that amount of money be better used in the United States? I wish, I could remember where I read about it.

  231. Bill’s been singing variations on the theme of focusing on real issues for 15 years now. And suddenly it’s McCarthyism in the narcissistic minds of the BO campaign.

  232. On a more sober note this: it is bad enough that the Illinois Combine should run the sovereign State of Illinois to the detriment of its citizens. Far worse that it should run the entire country as well though its chosen one–Barack Huessin Obama.

  233. SpacegirlArt, when i click on that link it looks for a Outlook on my computer which
    is not set-up.

Do you have an email address that you have sent this to?

  234. Todd Beeton makes this point on an MYDD post:

Contrary to the inevitability campaign Obama supporters are currently waging (what else is left after failing to win it outright on votes or to change the superdelegate rules in the middle of the game…) high level Democrats still have reservations about Barack Obama as the nominee and Obama supporters would be well-advised to accept and respect this fact. Where are all those superdelegates who were waiting in the wings to come out for Obama after March 4? If it’s so impossible for Hillary Clinton to win, why aren’t they ending this thing right now? John Edwards’s refusal to lend his weight to Obama’s candidacy at this point speaks volumes for both the real doubts some have about Obama as well as the continued viability of Hillary Clinton’s candidacy.

I think the SDs are at least waiting to see what Hillary does in PA.

  235. wbboei, of course that is what the Daley machine here wants.

The Democratic establishment is more difficult to udnerstand. How can any rational politician think
    that this guy can win?

  236. “The Democratic establishment is more difficult to udnerstand. How can any rational politician think that this guy can win?”

From all appearances, they’re so in love that they’ve lost their minds.

  237. Birdgal: surely you jest. A trillion dollars of US Aid to Africa (give or take 150 billion) if BO becomes President. I hope his AA supporters understand that that money will NOT be invested in the inner city where it could do some good for OUR PEOPLE by which I mean Americans like them!

Back to the Victorian poet Houseman:

” And then I saw the morning sky
Hi ho the tale was all a lie
The world it was the old world yet”

  238. Have you noticed that those with spelling issues always have some over active cat or dog that just happen to sleep on their keyboards? I demand a PETA investigation!

  239. Yeah, when your living out in country, not too many people on the road to let off some ‘road rage’

  240. When do you think this arabic blood issue is going to pop up for BO, some repub 527 around September if he gets the nom?

  241. wwboei: after I posted, I thought it must of been million, not billion. I was shocked at how much it was. If I come across it again, I’ll repost. I just remember, it was some god-awful amount of money, and several prominent Senators were supporting it.

  242. I see the fall of the Democratic Party!

If Hillary does not get the nomination this will be the begining to the end of the Democratic Party as we know now it. We all know that Obama will lose to McCain, which in turn will spliner the party even more. So. after November 5th there will a lot of rebuilding to do, this I beleive will be difficult because: First, new leadership will need to take over, (who would want that job?) once that has been determined it will take time to develop that leadership. Second, 2012 election, who do we have ? or should I say who would want to run? and Third, re-uniting the party could be very difficult, also, fundraising will have it’s chalanges, and in politics money is everything.

Now, this is just my opinon and thoughts, some might agree some might not. These issues are for us to think and ponder.

  243. I just learned a funny Obama fact I haven’t read anywhere else. You know how he always touts his “ten years legislative experience” in the Illinois State Senate. I’ve been on about that being a part time job for a long time. But I just got around to looking the schedule up. The Illinois State General Assembly met, on average, about 75 days out of the year. They meet January through May, and then one day in October and a handful of days in November. But here’s the thing – in 2002 and 2003, legislators were only required to attend 55 days out of the year. In 2004, it rocketed up to 70 days that they had to attend. On the “perfunctory days”, roll call isn’t even taken to establish who is and isn’t there. Here’s the link for anyone who wants to check it out. That ought to knock another chunk out of his experience argument.

  244. When Hillary wins this thing, I WANT a teeshirt that says:

    “Karma is a bitch……

Her name is Hillary Rodham Clinton”

  245. JAS,

I don’t think it’s all that bad. For one thing, the people trying to bluff Hillary into quitting are probably pushing this ‘permanent damage’ meme too.

A shake-up and reassembling of the Dem party might not be a bad thing. We haven’t had successful presidency in 60 years (except the Clintons), so it’s not like somebody had been doing something right. Dean looked promising after years of nominating limp-wristed latte losers, but now he’s backing another no-go, ie Obama. But with all Hillary’s people out and active, if Obama got the nomination and crashed, her faction might be able to get rid of the Dean/Brazile faction and clean up the DNC for 2012.

Hey, Bill Clinton for Dean’s job! Maggie for Brazile’s! Carville for anything!

  246. That Cake “building a religion” video is creeepy. I love Cake, and I love the song, though!

  247. Psymac….I resemble that remark!

With three cats who come and go and a large golden retriever sitting ever-close, I have a reasonable excuse for keyboard fodder.

II do what I can with compressed air and occasionally turning the laptop upside down and giving it a good smack (cringe) but it still protests at time. Perhaps it’s just mold…..

My computer can also self-possess at times…and it will type in tongues with no warning whatsoever. I have never figured out the reason for this ssstrange behavior.

  248. 1950- I see your point, I still think there will be a lot bitter democrats, this is our election to lose and we just might do that!! I love your thought on Bill and Maggie…. How about Carville for President!!! 🙂

  249. I’m getting a T-shirt made with Obama as jesus, and the words: WE ARE BUILDING A RELIGION undeneath. 🙂

  250. I think the SDs are at least waiting to see what Hillary does in PA.

More likely they’re all hiding in storm cellars till June, hoping the dust will settle before anyone makes them commit themselves. Except the ones already plugging one or another candidate.

  251. Lol, SpacegirArt, lover Labs, really great pet. And I have one cat, but Persian mix, so no sheding. I blame all my typos on my 3 year old climbing on dad to ‘help.’

Hey great post over at taylormarsh.com, seems like BO training wheels are showing again.

  252. When Hillary wins, I want a tee shirt to say “The Bitch is Back!” , which was wonderfully enough, sung by HRC supporter, Elton John!

  253. That Cake “building a religion” video is creeepy. I love Cake, and I love the song, though!

It’s not the VIDEAO that’s creepy, it’s the truth of it that so creepy.

  254. Psymac, I wonder if he will sing that song at his fundraiser? LOL! Oh, I hope so! The crowd will go wild! If he does, I hope there’s a youtube.

  255. Have you noticed that those with spelling issues always have some over active cat or dog that just happen to sleep on their keyboards?

I don’t make any excuses, I’m just lazy and retarded. 😉

  256. Ok, nite all! Fox News Sunday looks like a great match up, MA gov and PA gov (the other talk shows are taking a ‘holiday’ break it seems, not much going on).

  257. Still shocked at the quality of that “Building A Religion” video. That’s too damned good to have been done by an amateur.

Anyway, guess I ought to grab my book and hit the bed too.

  258. You think cats and dogs are bad, try having ferrets! They are like kittens with ADD on crack! Mine luuuurv to climb all over my keyboard.

  259. @ IDunn: “I will not think of him grabbing the beard, I will not think of him holding onto the beard…”

ARRRRRRRRGGHH!!! My braiiiin! Damn you, Idunn!

  260. Thanks for the info Dot…that means I can get to work early

NNo interest in seeing Richardson trash hillary on FOX

    night Idunn!

    Say your prayers…

    Obama will be listening!

  261. Psymac Says:

Ok, nite all! Fox News Sunday looks like a great match up, MA gov and PA gov (the other talk shows are taking a ‘holiday’ break it seems, not much going on).

Jesus, my Governor again…boy, am I regretting that vote.

  262. Okay, I think the Clinton campaign should demand an apology from the Obama campaign over the “Mccarthy” comment.

Obama needs to pull his surrogates back with all their loose talk and insults that have no merit! First calling her a monster, saying she is likable enough, then calling a former president unwarranted names!

    This is getting ridiculous!

  263. And I’m also getting really tired of Obama letting these insults slide for a few days until they do their damage and then coming forth and saying something.

  264. SpacegirlArt Says:

    March 22nd, 2008 at 10:40 pm
mj…how much longer til you can have another choice?

A few years. But, I was talking about the primary.

  265. Guys, aide to africa is important and since BC laid the groundwork to our current funding for africa and his global initiative has done more for africa than any particular government, I don’t see that changing with Hill. What Obama did was purely political. Presidents dictate funding for foreign countries, and then ask congress for approval. he was just looking to score political points with aa voters.

  266. Jan, the thing that I just get amazed at as how “quick on the draw” they are. They don’t have ANY skill at waiting to see what the REAL story is…they just go OFF and OFF in a way that makes them look STUPID.

On another note, I loved James Carville comment about Richardson, but Penn’s was stupid. He was behind the curve and showed no graciousness in his remarks….nothing like “While we would have appreciated an endorsement, we respect his right to hang himself”

  267. MJ!!!

that is so cynical of you dear!

    BBO, PANDER?!?!

  268. @spacegirl,

“they just go OFF and OFF in a way that makes them look STUPID.”

That’s what I mean. We are talking about the presidency here. Is this how an Obama 4 year term will look like? Will he police all thoughts that are constructively critical of him, while verbally attacking for no reason at all?

  269. During the 1930s there was a cabal of left wing intellectuals who fell madly in love with the idea of Communism only to realize millions of deaths later that the reality never quite measured up to the promise. At that point communism became for them a god that failed, and they repudiated what they had once sworn fierce allegiance to.

Since this is often the denoument of movement politics I have looked for early signs of a god that failed reaction in the Obama ranks.

Yesterday, a close friend of mine who is a first generation Chinese doctor described a story he had read in a Chinese newspaper to that effect.
So we went to Chinatown, found the newspaper and he provided me with a rough translation. because his english is not so good. I intend to follow up with the author.

She was born in China, grew up during the cultual revolution (let a thousand flowers bloom) and received a masters degree from Harvard in China. She emigrated to the United States in 2001 and voted for the first time in 2004-a right she cherishes. Like many other people she was drawn to the Obama campaign by this message of change and political transcendence but came to reject him later and ultimately became a strong advocate for Hillary.

The catalyst for her was the Obama supporters. She found them to be predominantly young people who bullied supporters, worshipped obama and tolerated no dissent from their orthodoxy. bullying behavior and group think.

These group behavior patterns conjured up terrifying memories which she had not thought about for years. Memories of a time when the Red Guard pillaged the country side, innocent people she knew were thrown in jail and their property was confiscated or destroyed. This is not an idiosyncratic reaction for someone with her life experience. My friend has the same mindset as it related to the Obama campaign.

Her solution was to go visit the Hillary campaign. The people there were older, quieter, more laid back and willing to consider differnent viewpoints. As an educated individual she was impressed by Hillary’s substantive approach to governance compared to the vapid and airy one emanting from Obama. As noted she is now a strong Hillary supporter. As for the party she lamented that typically democrats fall in love while republicans fall in line.

Would it serve any useful purpose to interview this lady. Let me know so I can raise the issue before I talk to her.

  270. try this again…

“he was just looking to score political points with aa voters.”

    (see above for commentary!)

I think it’s time for bed!

  271. eek! I meant to say “is this what a 4 year term could look like.” No way do I mean that it is a given. He will implode way before that ever happens. 😉

  272. I think we ought to use “enough” whenever Obamabots challenge us. Say it with the same little smirk he used toward Hillary.

    Are you saying he’s un-American?
    “Oh, he’s American enough.”

    Do you mean he’s unpatriotic?
    “Oh, he’s patriotic enough.”

How dare you call him dishonest!
    “Oh, he’s honest enough.”

  273. HillaryforTexas,

    That’s a genius idea! 🙂

    Are you saying he’s unlikable?

    Oh he’s likable enough! LOL… 😉

  274. Wbboei…very interesting….

I wish that I could offer whether the campaign would be interested, but it seems that someone like Jim McNeal of the News Hour may be a better selection…or someone who could get it to the Opinion Pages of the NYT

  275. Wbboei,

She sounds like a very smart woman. Thanks for sharing her story. I’m so glad she’s on Hillary’s side. 🙂

  276. Ok folks…I am off to bed. But for those of you who need to erase the dark and dirty backroom presidential attemppts of Barack Obama, go here, and feel the difference of real hope and change.

I posted this link last night, and it makes me feel GOOD to browse….I think it will you too! ENJOY!

    night all!

  277. Admin –

I have an email stuck in the filter, I think. I looked into how many days the Illinois State Senate worked per year. It averages out to about 75 days. This is the thing, though, not all of those days are mandatory. In 2002 and 2003, Illinois legislators were only required to be in session 55 days. And on days when the General Assembly was open but the legislators weren’t required to be there, roll call was not taken. I provided a link to the state site, but I think the important thing is simply getting the numbers out there. Obama did about 2.5 months worth of work per year.

Here is a broken up link so that it gets through the filter.

Spread those numbers far and wide. I don’t think it’s what people imagine when they hear he was the Illinois Senate for 10 years.

  278. The only thing BO has left is the media propping him up. If the media would just treat him like the typical cook county pol he is, he would crash and burn faster than the Dow Jones on Black Tuesday.

  279. A Newsweek article on Barry became Barack

    An interesting passage:

Back in Hawaii in the 1970s, it could seem that everyone was some kind of a minority. The fact that Obama was half-black and half-white didn’t matter much to anyone but Obama, Kakugawa says: “He made everything out like it was all racial.” On one occasion, Obama thought he’d gotten a bad break on the school basketball team because he was black. But Kakugawa recalls his father’s telling the teenager, “No, Barry, it’s not because you’re black. It’s because you missed two shots in a row.” (Here, Kakugawa’s memory is different from Obama’s. The Ray character in the book is the one obsessed with being discriminated against.)

  280. everyone must visit no quarter. i guarantee it is worth your wile.

  281. TPS, that still seemed like a pretty fawning article. By the way, I still don’t believe BO was in his prep school on scholarship. I know its been reported that way and you have citations, but his grandmother was an executive at a Hawain bank. Frankly, I’ve been to Hawaii most mainlanders who move to Hawaii have money.

  282. What’s this about Bosnia? I’m not sure they were being shot at or just had the threat of being shot at, but that definately happened because I remember it being on the news over and over again. I remember because the comedian Sinbad was there and he was running too. And, when he came back and went on the talk show circuit he talked about it. I think he even joked about it later.

  283. Emjay: since you like Yeats this one is for you:

    Hearts with one purpose alone
    Through summer and winter seem
    Enchanted to a stone
To trouble the living stream (Easter 1916)

Case in point. General McPeak (Barry’s butt boy)

During the New Hamphire campaign he shit in his messkit. He said Hillary cried and Barry didnt. When he was called to task on this he wondered aloud whether he had damaged Barry, apologized and said he had nothing but admiration for Hillary. Slip of the tongue.

Well it seems McPeak has gone off into the wide blue yonder again. When our Bill makes the innocent comment that it would be a good thing to have two candidates in the general election who love their country, which is demonstrably true in the case of Hillary and McCain, the errant general has two ways to go:

He could have said Obama is a patriot and explained why he felt that way. But that is not what he did and we must therefore assume he too was shellshocked by Wright. What he did instead was to raise the spectre of . . . . . hoping that some mensch would fall for it.

What this tin soldier needs to understand is that that Hillary and McCain have an abiding love for our country, have made choices that reflect it and this is a quality that any presidential candidate must have in order to be effective. He must also underestand that it is possible to question Obamas love of this country based on his 20 year association with a spirtual advisor who says “Goddam America” without advocating McCarythism. He should apologize again.

A friend told me tonight that McPeak has come in to a troubled Portland company called Control-Span he is associated with. I asked him if he knew McPeak personally and he said no. His only comment about him was that he was Secretary of the Air Force for a brief time only and was not liked by the troops. He said McPeak made changes in uniform etc. that were reversed when he left.

If this living example of the Peter Principle is the best Barry can do compared to the 30 distinguished Flag Officers who support Hillary then I say the record speaks for iteself.

  284. You guys see this headline at CNN?

“Chief of firm involved in (passport) breach is Obama adviser”

The guy advises BO on “intelligence” matters.

    That’s one to email around

You see my apology? Hope so…..

  285. Although maybe that is just commong when flying into war torn countries, and maybe that isnt the trip she was referring to.

  286. Blue: so let me see if I understand this. Obama is not a chief operating officer, he has no background in national security (except for the subcommitte meetings he has failed to convene) so the answer is he will hire good people to protect the country, but we now we learn that one of his own people is running the company that committed the breach of security he previously accused the Clinton campaign of.

  287. If elected Obama could be the first president who can not get an NSA security clearance. Can you imagine intelligence officials hiding information from the president because he can not be trusted?

  288. OMG, I just watched the Maher rerun. My God, these people are koolaid drinkers! First, they defend that Wright. Then, he basically says BO made these great point populist point in his speech to those white working class who are voting for Hill(inferring they are voting for her only because he is black), then he acts like BO is really wise because he linked the war to the economy, and then he links spitzer to Bill Clinton, and they don’t want to have sex with theirs wives. Disgusting! I wish I had not watched.

  290. MJ,
I gave up on Maher long ago. He turned into a real douche.
He has a great format, but used it to do 500 consecutive shows on Iraq, only recently stopping in order to perform fellatio on Obama on national television.

Every once in while I still click on quick just to see who the guests are.

This week, just as I turned it on I heard the black girl saying

    “Obama is Thomas Jefferson.” Click.

  291. hi hillfans! screw these naderite nutkooks calling on hillary to get out. she is raising tons of money online. i want her to go all the way to the last night of the convention. if obama is going to win the nomination, he will have to fight to the bitter end for it.

  292. curiosityhasme,

    Damn!!!, that’s damaging for BO.
Nice get- and good work by Debbie Schlussel.

Could be the follow-up punch that puts BO down.
    Who’s got the connects?

    Send this to Hannity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    **** EXCLUSIVE: Must Cite Debbie Schlussel and/or DebbieSchlussel.com ****

Responding to criticism by Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen, Barack Obama declared his strong opposition to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan:
I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan.
Obama also went on to condemn his Church’s award to Farrakhan and his minister’s tight relationship with him.
But a former Obama insider says that Obama’s sudden aversion to NOI and Farrakhan is belied by the fact that Obama employed and continues to employ several Farrakhan acolytes in high positions on his Illinois and U.S. Senate campaign and office staffs. I have verified that this person–who agreed to talk on the condition of anonymity–held a key position in the Obama campaign. The insider was so close to Senator Obama that they frequently personally discussed and exchanged direct e-mail messages on campaign and policy matters. This person is not connected with the Clintons and is not a disgruntled employee.

The insider says he frequently objected to Mr. Obama’s placement of Cynthia K. Miller, a member of the Nation of Islam, as the Treasurer of his U.S. Senate campaign. When I contacted Miller, now a Chicago real estate agent, to verify whether she was a member of the Nation of Islam and whether she shared Louis Farrakhan’s bigoted views about Jews, she responded, “None of your business! Where are you going with this?” She said her resignation as Obama’s treasurer had nothing to do with her Nation of Islam ties. Then, she hung up.

The Obama insider says he also objected to Obama’s involvement with Jennifer Mason, whom he says is also a member of the Nation of Islam. Mason is Obama’s Director of Constituent Services in his U.S. Senate office and is also in charge of selecting Obama’s Senate interns. She did not respond to repeated calls for comment.

But it’s not just that he employed these individuals in positions of power in his office, it’s that when the former associate raised objections, he says Mr. Obama’s position was that he saw nothing wrong with the Nation of Islam and didn’t think it was a problem. If true–and the fact that Ms. Mason still holds her prominent Obama Senate staff position bears that out–Obama’s condemnation of Farrakhan, this month, is phony.

But the insider says there is more to it than that. Obama’s Illinois State Senate district consisted of prime Nation of Islam territory, including Hyde Park, home to Farrakhan’s mansion. It is not possible, Illinois politicos say, to win that district without the blessing of the NOI leader. NOI members, including consultant Shakir Muhammad, held important roles in the Obama state senate campaign.

How many Nation of Islam members will work in an Obama White House?

Then, there is the issue of Israel. When Obama first ran for the U.S. Senate, he gave militant responses to the Chicago Jewish News about Israel. Obama denounced Israel’s fence–which he called a “wall” and “barrier to peace”–to keep out terrorists and favored working with Yasser Arafat. When members of the Chicago Jewish community circulated his responses, Obama said that the answers were not his positions, but the work of a low-level intern. He submitted new answers. But that was a lie, the insider says. In fact, they were the work of Obama’s Policy Director, Audra Wilson. Moreover, Obama told the insider that he blamed the Mideast conflict on the Jews:

Barack told me that he felt that Jewish community was too inflexible, and that was why the situation in the Mideast could not be resolved.

This is the man who says in a new campaign ad that Hillary Clinton will say anything but change nothing. Barack Obama will say anything, but change his answers.

Palestinian activist and Islamist Ali Abunimah, who was a close friend of Obama’s, attended an Arab fundraiser at which the late Edward Said–plagiarist, fabricator, and prominent PLO/Arafat advisor–was the keynote speaker, and at which the Obamas were notably in attendance. Pictures on Abunimah’s site, posted above, show Obama and wife, Michelle, sitting next to Said and engaging in conversation. Abunimah, in a must-read article, says the Senator has since “changed” his proclaimed views from those he expressed privately, in order to get Jewish donors and votes.

And he has succeeded in spades. Lee Rosenberg a top Illinois official of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the pro-Israel lobby is a big Obama donor. Ditto for former national AIPAC official Bob Asher. And Penny Pritzker of the pro-Israel family that owns Hyatt hotels. And there are so many others who have bought in to Obama’s newly pro-Israel views. The insider says Obama pulled the wool over their eyes.

Then, there’s Bettylu Saltzman, also Jewish and one of Obama’s first major supporters and donors. She is a major Peace Now devotee, officer of the far-left, pro-capitulation New Israel Fund, and wrote a letter to a Chicago newspaper praising Jimmy Carter’s book calling Israel an apartheid state. The Obama insider says she has Obama’s ear on the Mideast and “will be a major policy person for Barack. Very dangerous.”

The insider points to Mr. Obama’s changing views in Iraq as another area of uncertainty. He has highlighted his opposition to the War in Iraq. The insider says there is strong speculation that Obama attempted to get his crony, Federal Indictee Tony Rezko, a contract to build a nuclear power plant in the new Iraq. Rezko, a Syrian Arab who helped Obama in a deal to purchase his home, was in a partnership with NOI founder Elijah Muhammad’s son, Jabir.

Barack Obama can denounce Louis Farrakhan ad infinitum. But with supporters like Ms. Saltzman, high-level staffers who are Nation of Islam members, and constantly morphing views on Israel merely for donor appeal, a Barack Obama White House bodes poorly both for Israel and–far more important–for America.

  293. good lord-im sending that one round the world. as a jew this is beyond worrisome. i wonder fi this report is accurate-

  294. FOX News already has as their top story Obama’s advisor being involved in the passport imbroglio.

Wait till they get a hold of this new one!!!

The rest of Obama’s staff is from the Nation of Islam!!!!

    Oh My God!!!!!!

  295. “This is the man who says in a new campaign ad that Hillary Clinton will say anything but change nothing”

Is that true? Is he really running an ad like this?

  296. One of the lies Obama tells is that Superdelegates should “vote with their constituencies”. Richardson, by that logic, should have endorsed Hillary: the same with Kerry, Patrick, and Kennedy of Massachusetts, since Hillary won New Mexico and Massachusetts.

We at HillBuzz wondered what the Superdelegate breakdown would be like if ALL supers voted for the candidate who won their state.

Result: Hillary wins the supers 346-309, based on states that have voted so far.

For the complete results, check this out state by state, with projections for upcoming contests:

  297. hehe… Obama and Axelrod are huddled drafting a speech on
how America must overcome it’s staffing problems.

For weeks now I’ve envisioned Obama as a virtually unblemished fighter.
To my mind, Hill’s wins in TX & OH opened a cut over his eye.
The Rev Wright stuff staggered him pretty badly. But like any fighter you don’t want to give him a chance to fully recover.
This NOI stuff is the shit. If ever this site helped push a story, this should be the one and now is the time.
Obama almost explained away Wright – at least in the short term- as a crazy uncle and by changing the subject to race relations.
But having his staff littered with NOI members will be too much.

He’s not explaining away Louis Farakhan having real hooks in his campaign. And this will affirm in many the bombast of Wright in Obama.

I don’t do dissemination. Hope you guys can.

  298. How old were Rev. Wright’s speeches?

This is what happens when a guy is completely unvetted by the MSM.
Some of these pieces tothe story are just laying out there.
    Here. Replace the dotcom

  299. btw – and I haveto make sure I state this clearly here – when I say I saw Obama as unblemished, that is my view of his general perception, as relayed to the general public via the MSM and how the public is reflecting it back via polling, blogging, etc…

It’s certainly not what I think of the man or his campaign, for sure.

  300. It reads an awful lot like disinformation. I’d be very, very careful of this. There is nothing the obama camp would like more than for this to prove to be a totally false story and have it get it’s internet pass-around start here in comments.

Color me very suspicious of this story and it’s pedigree.

  301. basement angel,
I’m reminded of the words of LBJ, when he knowingly fed a reporter a bogus story on his opponent.

“I just want to hear the bastard deny it.”

I want nothing more than the truth. Let the media ask the right questions the right way and see what they say.
If Schlussel’s correct, the one non-denial given on the record is certainly circumstantial evidence the media MUST be made to follow up on.

    Vet, vet, vet, vet….

  302. As an attorney, Schlussel represented University of Michigan students in a lawsuit against the University when it hosted Al-Arian as a speaker at a radical conference (a conference urging divestment from Israel) on campus, exposing him and other radical speakers, and putting them and their supporters on campus on the defensive.

The Hotline, politics’ and talk shows’ most influential newsletter and online website, called Schlussel a “rising GOP pundit,” and The Hotline’s influential former columnist (and current “Hardball” producer) Howard Mortman wrote in his “Extreme Mortman” column that Schlussel is “one of the fastest rising young TV pundits today.” The site’s webcast of Schlussel was The Hotline’s most viewed webcast ever.

  303. A right wing hack? Undoubtedly, though apparently – as opposed to most of the pundits who call themselves journalists – she does some actual reporting.

I never thought I’d have a kind word about these folks, but lately some of them have been among my favorite people.

    What a strange world sometimes….

  304. Ya’ll should read this article about Obama trying to suck up to Israelis:

Here are a couple of tidbits:

“Obama’s phrasing suggests that Hizbullah launched thousands of rockets in an unprovoked attack, but it’s a complete distortion. Throughout his speech he showed a worrying propensity to present discredited propaganda as fact. ”

“In total, forty-three Israeli civilians were killed by Hizbullah rockets during the thirty-four day war. For every Israeli civilian who died, over twenty-five Lebanese civilians were killed by indiscriminate Israeli bombing — over one thousand in total, a third of them children. Even the Bush administration recently criticized Israel’s use of cluster bombs against Lebanese civilians. But Obama defended Israel’s assault on Lebanon as an exercise of its “legitimate right to defend itself.”

As he came in from the cold and took off his coat, I went up to greet him. He responded warmly, and volunteered, “Hey, I’m sorry I haven’t said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race. I’m hoping when things calm down I can be more up front.” He referred to my activism, including columns I was contributing to the The Chicago Tribune critical of Israeli and US policy, “Keep up the good work!”

  305. texan4hillary

Interesting piece about the credentials committee. The good thing in Hillary’s favor is that the members are apportioned by state population. Hillary has won all the big states and will get more members from those states. the big question is who the 25 members that have already been choosen by Dean are. Since they have already been choosen we need to find out who they are now and start a campaign as I am sure Obamaland is already talking their ears off.

  306. The Credentials Committee
    06 Mar 2008 09:13 am

Assuming that Florida and Michigan Democrats do not submit new delegate selection plans to the Democratic national committee, their plea to seat their delegations will fall on the ears of the DNC’s committee on credentials.

The chairs of the committee are all veterans of the Clinton administration in some way: Alexis Herman, James Roosevelt, Jr. and Eliseo Roques-Arroyo: this led to certain conspiracy theories. But all three have maintained their neutrality; there are many Clinton officials supporting Obama, and it’s hard to find prominent Dems who didn’t play some role in the Clinton administration.

Anyway, Mr. Dean has not packed the committee with Clinton loyalists. He’s packed the committee with, well, Dean loyalists. Those of us who covered the Dean campaign will be familiar with many of the names:

Kate O’Connor, his gubernatorial chief of staff and campaign senior adviser; Bob Rogan, a campaign deputy manager who worked closely with current DNC executive director Tom McMahon; Kathy Hoyt, another former chief of staff to Dean in Vermont; Jane Stetson, a Democratic fundraiser from Vermont; Dr. Dean’s college roommate, Dr. Ralph Dawson; Adelita Grijalva, daughter of Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), an early Dean endorsee; Scott Maddox, a former chair of the Florida Democratic Party who supported Dean and who warred with the current regime at the Florida Democratic Party; William Strauss, a Massachusetts state representative who was one of Dean’s earliest campaign endorsee; Tina Flournoy; a longtime Dean adviser; and many others.

Some of the members of the committee have allegiances to the candidates: Mr. Beyer raises money for Barack Obama; Flournoy is one of Clinton’s top outside advisers. She also happens to be on the party’s rules and bylaws committee.

But most are loyal to Dean. And Dean’s overwhelming priority is to maintain the integrity of the rules.

The members of the committee are:

    Dean Aguillen
    Don Beyer
    Jose Ceballos
    Ralph Dawson
    Sheila Dixon, Mayor
    Christopher Edley, Jr.
    Hartina Flournoy
    Maryscott “Scotty” Greenwood
    Janice Griffin
    Laura Harris
    Kathy Hoyt
    Carol Juneau, State Senator
    Scott Maddox
    Iman Malik Mujahid
    Adelita Grijalva
    Maria Neira
    Kate O’Connor
    Carol Pensky
    Bob Rogan
    Leila Sahar
    Marc Stanley
    Michael Steed
    William Straus, State Representative

  307. There are a couple of folks on the rules committee I have concerns about:

Mary Rose Oakar is President of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, the largest Arab-American grassroots civil rights organization in the country. From 1977 to 1993, she represented western Cleveland in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she worked on several pieces of legislation related to peace and justice in the Middle East and for those of Middle East ancestry. Oakar served as secretary of the House Democratic Caucus. (she has also been accused of corruption)

David Walters is president of Walters Power International, which specializes in electrical generation equipment. From 1990 to 1994, he served as governor of Oklahoma, where he made education a top priority – increasing education funding by 30 percent and investing heavily in construction and renovation at state colleges. (This guy’s company does power business in Iraq and Indonesia. Obama’s stepfather was a power company exec in Indonesia)

  308. This is an interesting tidbit I pulled out of The American Thinker:

“Elijah Mohammad led the Nation of Islam until his death in 1975. Jabir Herbert Muhammad was sued in 1999 by boxer Muhammad Ali for unauthorized use of his name in connection with the so-called Muhammad Ali Foundation. Rezko served as Executive Director of the Foundation.”

Man, this Rezko guy is shameless! Below is the article, and it is very good for those not up on all the Rezko stuff:

  309. Many years ago, there was a most unusual judge who sat on the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in the distinguished company of Leaned Hand and August Hand. In addition to being a judge he was a bit of an entrepeneur in sense that he took contributions from both sides in a case and was decent enough to refund the money to the losing party consistent with the ancient doctrine of maritime salvage-no cure no pay. At some point his little scheme was discovered, no one was particularly amused and off to Sing Sing he did go.

When you look at the money coming in to the Obama campaign today you have to wonder what strings come with it. I dont mean the small donors on the web, I mean the BIG ONES –like the shadowy figures who met at Goose Island a few days ago, the Illionis Combine, Darth Vader Soros through Move-on crowd et. al. Some of them want federal appointments, some want protection from federal government regulation, some want federal grants, and the only thing Soros wants is to control the world.

For Barry this must require a delicate balancing act. After all, it isnt easy to associate with the anti-semitic likes of Wright, Farrakan etc. for political gain and also accept money from the American Israeli Pact–if the Shussel story is believed. As with Judge Manton you have to keep both sides in the dark and make suitable amends to the losing party. More digging will yield more information and we can only hope the full truth will be known Ditto in the case of Rezko.

  310. HillBillyLover

That list is of the members Dean appointed the remaining of the 186 total committee members are decided by the delegations from each state. Each state’s allocation is determined by population. California alone gets 17 members on the committee and most of the small states Obama won that he would not win in November get 1 or 2 each.

  311. Holy moly, I got my numbers wrong on how much time the Illinois legislature took of Obama’s time. He was in the Illinois State Senate for 7 years; not ten. Considering that there were about 55 mandatory days that he had to be in the Illinois senate per year, that means he had about a year and a half of legislative experience when he was elected to the US senate. That means he had a grand total of about 3.5 years legislative experience when he announced for the presidency.

This is literally insane that we’re thinking about nominating this joker after everything we’ve been through with Bush.

  312. rjk1957, those two names I mentioned are new to the Rules Committee, not Credentials. I am a little unclear about how each of these plays into the decision about MI and FL delegations, but in the Larry King interview Obama mentioned Rules Committee a couple of times I believe.

  313. The credentials committee seats all the delegates at the convention. Fl and MI will have to appeal to the credentials committee to be seated.

  314. timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article3602710.ece

From “Barack Obama: toxic mentors start to corrode pristine campaign
The Democrat was surging ahead but now revelations about the men who helped shape him are putting voters off” and Emil Jones – leader of the Illinois state senate who helped Obama:

“That intensifying scrutiny may soon lead to Jones’s Illinois door, and to further uncomfortable insights into the unflattering political realities that accompanied Obama’s climb from obscurity.

At one point during Obama’s 2003 Senate campaign, Jones set out to woo two African-American politicians miffed by Obama’s presumption and ambition. One of them, Rickey “Hollywood” Hendon, a state senator, had scoffed that Obama was so ambitious he would run for “king of the world” if the position were vacant.

When Jones secured the two men’s support, Obama asked his mentor how he had pulled it off. “I made them an offer,” Jones said in mock-mafioso style. “And you don’t want to know.”

  315. Richardson has dishonored himself. Most people know it and someday he too will figure it out. In this life you do not turn on the people who helped make you what you are. If you do then you are lower than a snakes belly.

When Richardson told Hillary of his betrayal I expect she felt the same way Washington did when he learned of the treason committed by his trusted general Benedict Arnold. That Richardson expected her reaction to be pleasant is testifies to his delusional state.

I cannot help noticing that Richardson has grown a beard. Perhaps he wants us to believe that the clean shaven man the Clintons pulled out of obscurity and gave cabinet postition to is different from the bearded one who committed the foolish mistake of endorsing Obama.

But the truth is no one is fooled. Everyone I talk to understands difference between loyalty and treason. Everyone I talk to understands the difference between principle and crass opportunism. Everone I talk to looks at his actions and agrees with me that Bill Richardson is now a man of dishonor.

In sum, if Bill Richardson has any conscience then this this endorsement is one which he will deeply regret long after the current parade passes by, etc.

  316. The credentials committee thing sounds pretty decent–the proportional delegation sign is a good thing for us, and from what I’ve heard, depending on the Florida delegate size, Hillary may get enough delegates out of MI and FL in combo with her win in PA to get the actual lead in pledged delegates going into the convention. I do think we will get Florida’s delegation seated, but MI’s will be a different story, unless we can break it down so that Obama gets all the uncommitted delegates I don’t think that would ever fly.

    Speaking of Ricky Hendon:

Barack Obama angered fellow Democrats in the Illinois Senate when he voted to strip millions of dollars from a child welfare office on Chicago’s West Side. But Obama had a ready explanation: He goofed.

“I was not aware that I had voted no,” he said that day in June 2002, asking that the record be changed to reflect that he “intended to vote yes.”

Of course, saying you made a mistake means nothing, because the actual vote can not be changed, regardless of whether it’s a mistake or not. Hendon was so pissed, he literally almost knocked Bambi’s light out over it.

  320. There was also another situation between Hendon and Bambi later, I think. Hendon had worked his ass of on some piece of legislation, and then at the end Obama came in, did something minor to help it pass and then claimed all the credit.

Hendon was furious, saying, basically that nobody likes to carry the ball for 99 yards, and then have someone come in, grab the ball, and run it in the last yard and steal all the credit. Which is EXACTLY what Mr. Unity did. Hendon wouldn’t come out and call it bill jacking, but you know, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…

  321. Also… regarding that Debbie Schlussel (or however you spell her name) piece? I don’t know this woman. I have nothing what-so-ever that would make me believe in her credibility, AND I’ve never seen that info verified ANYWHERE.

So as far as I’m concerned, it’s utterly meaningless.

I’m not going to damn anyone based on some unsubstantiated rumor I read on the internet. But hey, that’s just me.

  322. Hey Basil…I can’t get into my email right now. Haven’t been able to all morning. System just keeps locking up.

    I’ll try again later, though.

  323. Idunn…I am with you on that story about NOI folks in BO Camp. We saw that on here a few months back, and I am sure that Jewish groups and Hannity have seen it too. I don’t know how to verify anything about it, so I will hold off on sending it out. We have other shoes to drop in the meantime. Like Passport-gate, in which, btw, the Obama supporter employee was the only one NOT fired, last I heard.

And since he doth protest too much and too LOUDLY, I think that is a big old smoke-screen for guilt. Same with the McSneak commentary to Bill’s innocuous comments to the veterans. Another MSNBC PUSHED story.

Bambi is sinking himself. I’ll hand him another anchor anytime I can verify the info. Otherwise, it has the potential to backfire about Hillary, and I will NOT do that if I can help it at all. Better to be silent, than throw the life vest by mistake, IMO.

  324. psymac,

Richardson is an A$$wipe. notice how he and Wallace are ASSUMING that NOT counting Florida and Michigan votes will wash with voters? Like there will be no backlash? Rendell mopped the floor with Richardson and really got him on the SD issue and how the BO people are all about the rules the rules the rules and yet don’t want to enforce Kennedy and Kkerry, not to mention Pelosi, following their state’s popular votes but Richardson says oh she (HRC) only won by a half percent. Rendell also got him on the total number of electoral college votes HRC is in line to win which is 70 more than BO’s.

  325. morning space- and all

I got an idea. Nothing wild but it seems to me that this is an ideal time to inject a little humor into the campaign. Something we can all help out with without too much expense.

We need home-made hand-written campaign signs. We need to make em and send them out to the local offices. Spacegirlart, you’re the artist. Lets not make just T-shirst, quick simple signs that will show up on TV behind Supergirl.

    My ideas:

another TYPICAL WHITE PERSON for Hillary

    FL voter hoping to VOTE

48 states of America, per DNC

Rev Wright does NOT speak for me- Hillary Speaks for ME

there’s lots more. I could be wrong but I think the local offices need help with these signs. Its great to be able to hand them out at rallies. Some people bring their own but we can be a little more edgy.

  326. I speak for MYSELF.

No way I’d want to saddle anyone else with responsibility for the shit that comes out of my mouth. 😉

  327. Stephanapoulos and company beating the same drum that it is next to impossible, mathematically, for HRC to win now that Florida and Michigan are out.
Is it not completely obvious to everyone that the REASON FL. and MI. aren’t having a do-over is because it would benefit HRC? if it was BO who needed the votes to count, don’t you think the do-over would be a done deal? How STUPID do these arrogant out-of-touch a$$wipes think we are to NOT notice we are being bamboozled? the problem is, what are the options? It’s obvious the DNC, Dean and brazille will not life a finger in the name of fairness unless rank and file DEMS start screaming bloody murder. that is what is so infuriating about this. the script has been written, a few detours have occurred, just blips on the screen, and write back to the script, as if it’s already been pre-ordained and if, like i think, that is true, we HAVE to get the word out away from the Dem party umbrella, as individual outraged citizens, that we WON’T sit passively by and let the country slip into the hands of an incompetent, untried, arrogant neophyte with ties to groups determined to bring down the USA and turn it into another repressed totalalatarian regime.
I will campaign for McCain (i’ll have recovered by then) if BO and the DNC gets away with this. Screw the Dem. Party.

  328. Idunn-
some of that shit is gold
as far as sound bites are concerned.

so… this isn’t my idea. I dont know where I read that the BO campaign has people that go to rallies and give out these homemade signs, they even take the ones that people brought and give them new ones. I think it was an interview on CNN with a high school student who was saying she thought she liked BO but had changed her mind but couldn’t tell her friends. Gross.

Well our campaign has been more… professional. But why. I think we can do the sign thing as an insurgent grassroots support without going through the campaign for direction, approval distribution. Lets take back OUR election!

  329. *LOL*

Tota-LA-LA-Larian regime, just the thing for the Obama-lama-ding-dong bots.

    Enough already. off for brunch.

  330. Good morning Hillfans. If you’ve not visited RezkoWatch yet this morning, the Easter bunny (or the Spring Equinox bunny, take your pick) left a goose egg for Obama this morning. Enjoy!

  331. Nice collection of videos this morning. I’ve seen the building-a-religion one but the rest were new to me.

We have alot of arrogant asswipes in the democratic party that are ignorant of most of the people in this country. Bo will never become the POTUS because of his lack of character, strength, value, integrity and his very bad judgement.

John Kerry and the elites’ east coast bias against all things west and south is very enlightening on how they view the rest of the country. Never in my life have I seen such blatant arrogance from a bunch of losers.

This AA is so tired of the Clinton bashing and always blaming the Clintons for their mistakes and obvious short comings. Obama LOST the MILITARY!!! Obama LOST the BLUE COLLAR Voter w/the exception of most AA’s!!! Obama is LOSING the country and no matter how you dress up this pig, he’s still a PIG.

  333. texan4hillary ,

What has been the reaction to Gov. Richardson’s endorsement on Obama in your area?

I’m from California and I know this endorsement won’t help him very much.

  334. Idunn and SpacegirlArt – Didn’t realize you both have inside info that Debbie Schlussel’s article/source not credible. Since so many of the players in the Rezko trial are revealing to be members or have ties to Nation of Islam, doesn’t seem like a stretch to me. Sure feels like a coup takeover to me with far left-wing propoganda machines CNN, MSNBC and DNC leading the charge. Still wonder if TUCC’s Choir Director’s murder by multiple gunshots around Christmas (and right before Iawacaucus) was a real robbery or love triangle gone bad. He’d been there twenty years, too. Hmmm. So many strange and hidden stories. Sure are lots of people trying to skirt/dodge issues. Interesting the way news reports today say Obama didn’t attend TUCC on EASTER SUNDAY because he’s on vacation. WHAT A CHRISTIAN! Case in point.

  335. Hi everyone,

New to this blog i am on Hillarys blog everyday. I am a staunch supporter of Hillary. I am from East Cleveland, Ohio I will be traveling to PA to help out. This blog is so refreshing compared to other blogs bashing Hillary. I am not worried, i know she will be the nominee. The media knows this as well. I no longer watch the cable channels they are for Obama.
