UPDATE: we are now getting some numbers in. Let’s go to Joker King with the big stupid map.

Joker King: as you can see the map is split into dark blue and light blue. The dark blue is MSNBC and the light blue is CNN. Right noe the whole map is practically dark blue, you’d think that means MSNBC is winning pretty impressively, but those areas all get lower ratings than the light blue, and they don’t win the demo. Once we start getting numbers in from these strongholds for CNN where all the ratings are, then we’ll have a much clearer picture of the race.

Welcome back. Let’s go to Soledad “Latinos-are-switching-over-to-CNN” O’Lyin and Will “only-the-riff-raff-vote-for-MSNBC” Snide-r. They have some exit polling results for us.

Will Snide-r: We asked viewers what is most important to them when choosing a news channel.

Facts 5%
Bullshit 95%

90% of MSNBC viewers chose bullshit. Surprisingly, 90% of CNN viewers chose the same.

An astounding 10% of CNN viewers chose Facts. Only 2% of MSNBC viewers chose facts. The remaining MSNBC viewers must have gotten distracted by their X-Box.

Soledad O’Lyin: Oh, that’s so fascinating, Will. It looks like CNN has the edge with the fact-based community. And, according to our exit polls, CNN also gained 10 points over MSNBC in the viewership of South Americans, so CNN is clearly cracking into MSNBC’s Mexican base, too. Must have been that Mind of Mencia endorsement.

Will Snide-r: That’s exactly right, Soledad. I am too tired to pick apart the holes in your logic, and I am just doing this job for the money, I don’t really care about statistics. All in all a very good day for CNN.
