Hillary Clinton Confronts Hypocrite Barack Obama

“Today in the crowd I was given two mailings that Sen. Obama’s campaign has been sending out. … I have to express my deep disappointment that he has continuing to send false and discredited mailing with information that is not true to the voters of Ohio”.

“We have consistently called him on it. It has been discredited. It is blatantly false, and yet he continues to spend millions of dollars perpetuating falsehoods”.

“Enough with the speeches and the big rallies and then using tactics that are right out of Karl Rove’s playbook” . “This is wrong and every Democrat should be outraged.”

“He says one thing in speeches and then he turns around and does this,”

“That is not the new politics that the speeches are about. It is not hopeful, it is destructive particularly for a Democrat to be discrediting universal health care by waging a false campaign against my plan, to be talking about NAFTA in a way that tries to make him appear to have a plan when he does not.”

“It is the worst kind of politics. Number one, it is wrong and untrue, and number two, it is exactly the talking points that the health insurance industry and the Republicans use on a daily basis.

“Sen. Obama knows that it is not true that my plan forces people to buy insurance even if the can’t afford it. … My plan has more financial help my plan has been evaluated by independent experts as actually achieving universal coverage and providing the financial assistance so everyone can have health care.

“This mailing about NAFTA saying that I believe NAFTA was a ‘boon’ quoted a newspaper [Newsday] that has corrected the record. We have pointed it out, the newspaper has pointed it out. Time and time again you hear one thing in speeches and then you see a campaign that has the worst kind of tactics reminiscent of the same sort of Republican attacks on Democrats.

“Well, I am here to say that it is not only wrong, but it is undermining core Democratic principles. Since when do Democrats attack one another on universal health care?”

“This is the kind of attack that not only undermines core Democratic values, but gives aid and comfort to the very special interests and their allies in the Republican party,”

“Shame on you Barack Obama. It is time you ran a campaign consistent with your messages in public, that’s what I expect from you. Meet me in Ohio, and lets have a debate about your tactics and your behavior in this campaign.”

The FACTS here.

  1. THAT’S the Hillary that I know and love. Get angry, show that you’re a fighter.

We should ALL be getting angry now, and channeling that anger into action. Call, donate, blog, call, donate, donate, call call call!

We need to give a big F-you to the media who are already writing obituaries for Hillary, and we need to derail the fluff talk express.

I’m so happy to have found this “happy place” for Hillary.

  4. OMG, can we get the YouTube clip of Tina Fey on tonight’s Weekend Update making the case for Hillary and saying it isn’t too late Texas and Ohio? I thought it was fantastic . . .

This is my mantra for the next two weeks:

Well I wont back down, no I wont back down
You can stand me up at the gates of hell
    But I wont back down

Gonna stand my ground, wont be turned around
And Ill keep this world from draggin me down
Gonna stand my ground and I wont back down

Hey baby, there aint no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground
    And I wont back down.

Well I know whats right, I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushin me around
But Ill stand my ground and I wont back down

Hey baby there aint no easy way out
Hey I will stand my ground
    And I wont back down
    No, I wont back down

  5. So if I’m reading the posts in the previous thread correctly,
NBC offers two skits, one of which reinforces people swooning over Obama (complete with Obama girl and all), while simultaneously shifting blame for media bias to CNN while conveniently providing cover for their own news division in the process.

The second reinforces (over & over) the stereotype that Hillary’s a bitch, and this is something to celebrate?

    It’s a mindfuck.

  6. from taylors site:

C.D.S., otherwise known as Clinton Derangement Syndrome, meet O.C.S., which David Brooks has named Obama Comedown Syndrome.

The afflicted had already been through the phases of Obama-mania — fainting at rallies, weeping over their touch screens while watching Obama videos, spending hours making folk crafts featuring Michelle Obama’s face. These patients had experienced intense surges of hope-amine, the brain chemical that fuels euphoric sensations of historic change and personal salvation.
… .. Up until now The Chosen One’s speeches had seemed to them less like stretches of words and more like soul sensations that transcended time and space. But those in the grips of Obama Comedown Syndrome began to wonder if His stuff actually made sense. For example, His Hopeness tells rallies that we are the change we have been waiting for, but if we are the change we have been waiting for then why have we been waiting since we’ve been here all along? … ..

What the media has ignored, then built up, they now are salivating to tear down. This is going to get ugly. Just wait until the GOP starts defining Mr. Obama, something he should have done himself a long time ago.

  7. sorry i have to repeat this k?

” His Hopeness tells rallies that we are the change we have been waiting for, but if we are the change we have been waiting for then why have we been waiting since we’ve been here all along? …” ..

    LOL LOL LOL

    TE HEHE TE HEHE..
    SO F*_ING FUNNY…

  8. HILLARY IS MY HERO!!!! She was right on! Passionate and real. I don’t think, this was a tactical maneuver, but a real on-the-spot reaction, to all the misinformation that has been floating around out there. She said, she received the flyers in the line.

The other Obama line that causes me to roll my eyes: “We are the ones, that we have been waiting for.” What the h*** does that mean? I believe that line is from an Alice Walker poem, and is from the Hopi Nation. He never gives credit, when credit is due to another writer.

  9. I LOVE TINA FEY. LOVE her. 30 Rock is my fav show.

  12. I LOVE THAT FIRE FROM HILLARY!!! GOOD NEWS ON THE ONLINE FUNDRAISING!!! READY FOR MONEYBOMB MONDAY THOUGH!!!!!

  13. Hey guys, Have you seen the video of the day at hillaryspeaksforme? It’s great. Also, check out the video I want you Hillary. It’s so funny!

  14. CLINTON NAILED OBAMA

God, I love Hill she set him up over the last 3 days and he didnt even see it coming. I now know why she went all nicey nicey at the debate, it was a simple, oh yes you are a lovely person, we will be friends. She told the audience, I am gracious, and then came the whallop. I was friendly, i offered my hand in friendship to Barack and this is how he treats fellow Democrats. He stabs them in the back with lies and deceit. It was a classic. Compliment your enemy and then when they make a move you devour them as backstabbers.

Now H has set the scene for building on it through the media.

1 : its not the first opponent he’s done this to.
2 : He’s not what you think he is.
    3 : Who is Barack.
4 : If he can do this to Democrats, you cannot trust him in the WH.

She has now effectively put the seed of doubt in the minds. Classic timing when she needed it. The tide has turned bigtime.

  15. Howdy All! As usual, thanks for the wonderful reading. I love coming on here each day and reading the great stories and feeling all the great karma this site provides to Hillary and her supporters.

I just checked out her web site and noticed she’s still a little short of her $2.2 million donation goal. If you’ve forgotten to do it, please go to hillaryclinton.com now and donate whatever you can spare. ANY amount is greatly needed and appreciated! Let’s see if we can all pull together and help her reach this very important goal!

  16. she’s now also set him up for the next debate, he better be ready because she’s going to go in for the kill now. He opened the door for her to be vicious now. She made it legitimate to do so today.

  17. TexasforHillary…thanks for the update and your hard work…it sounds so exciting…believe me we are with you in spirit and donations…

Blue Democrat…the Tina Fey piece was fantastic…it was like a shot of positive media adrenaline…I am sure it will be on utube so if you haven’t seen it yet I think you will appreciate it when you do…she meant ‘bitch’ as in someone who gets things done…action…stength…maybe now that the writers are back we will get more Obama backlash…

I know that I am so sick of him…I am sick of his voice…of his face…of hearing about him…of seeing him on every channel every time I turn on the tv…it is just overload…it really bothers me that after having to mute the tv for the last 8 years every time the president came on…there is a chance I may be forced to do it again…

Obama is so overexposed and the balloon will burst…and his ego will be his downfall…I am even hearing media that is in love with him starting to make comments about him having to be careful of being so full of himself…he has drunk his own kool-aid and it is just a matter of time…and Michelle will wear thin very soon…she has too much of a chip on her shoulder…the combination is too overbearing and condescending…people will get sick of it…we do not need them preaching to us…

I love Hillary going after him…she has been way to gracious to him, especially since he has been attacking and insulting her and bill nonstop…this is exactly what she needs to do…call him out for the hypocrite he is…

…and I wish at the MSNBC debate she would also call him out on all the ‘Democrat for a Day’ mailings and there is also a utube about it for the Obama campaign and how to register in FLORIDA…the man is a fraud and dishonest…

a perfect example is when he said at the debate that he hardly knew Rezco and did 4 hours of work for him thru his church…the man is not honest…

  18. the hillaryclinton.com blog is frozen from posting comments. geez, will they get it together and really make it a free flowing blog? a lot of complaints from diehard hillfans there.

  19. Hillary should get Alice Palmer and anyone else he has betrayed a front row seat at the debate Tuesday night and make sure Bambi sees them during the photo just prior to it begining. Sort of like the congressional hearing scene in the Godfather 2.

He will be a stuttering fool all night wondering what the hell they are doing there and what they may say to the press afterwards.

  20. terrondt:

I sure hope you are right.

Hillary needs her voice to be heard, and she can’t do it without everyone’s support. And please remember all, NO amount is too small.

  21. i will donate one more time on moneybomb monday. after i have to wait until next payperiod. i get paid everyother week.

  22. man, i gotta get to sleep and quit browsing…

  23. politico-sound right? i think so
Here’s the five-point plan for her endgame:

    1) Run appealing, positive ads. On Saturday, she unveiled four new ads for airing in Texas and Ohio with messages such as “Hillary delivers.”

One features a testimonial from John Glenn, the astronaut and former U.S. senator from Ohio: “I’ll be proud to call Hillary my president.”

    2) Hold events every day that will drive positive news coverage. On Saturday, she was in New Orleans with talk show host Tavis Smiley for his ninth annual State of the Black Union symposium.

On Monday, she is slated to hold a foreign policy event to emphasize her commander-in-chief credentials. On Wednesday, she is to hold an economic summit in Ohio. Later, she plans to take a tour of Appalachia.

    3) Keep the message clear and personal, not wonky. Doug Hattaway, a trusted communications adviser within the bubble, gives her advice and pep talk before she goes onstage, encouraging her to lose the dense verbiage.

“It’s nothing new, but it’s someone new to say it,” said a Clinton aide. “She is appreciative of the feedback and suggestions.”

    4) Aim for women, who made her the upset winner of the New Hampshire primary. They’re the target of Clinton’s closing remarks from the Austin debate, which the campaign blast e-mailed on Saturday from “Bill Clinton” with the subject line, “The moment” and an appeal for funds to place her remarks as an ad in states voting on March 4.

“Women like the Hillary Clinton they saw in Austin,” a Clinton aide said.

    5) Mix criticism of Obama with positive conversation about herself. The restraint was clear in a remark she made Saturday at a Solutions for American Families town hall in Cincinnati.

“The other day in the debate, I was asked if I believed that I was ready to be commander in chief and my opponent wasn’t,” she said. “I prefer to talk about me. I prefer to say: I know I’m ready. I’m ready because I’ve been there, I understand it and I know what it will take to walk into that White House and assume that awesome responsibility.”

Speaking to reporters afterward, though, she ripped into her opponent by name over his mailing with the headline “Hillary’s health care plan forces everyone to buy insurance, even if you can’t afford it.”

Brandishing the mailer, she said: “Shame on you, Barack Obama!”

  24. My !@1@$ Obama-lovin’ DVR cut off the opening skit. I haven’t seen it yet 🙁

But, how I love Tina Fey so much. bitches get things done. She’s an independent btw.

I’ll try to put the clip on youtube, but NBC takes SNL clips down in 2.5 seconds. They’ll be offical ones up probably tomorrow, they’re pretty good about that.

Michelle Obama’s America — And Mine
    By Michelle Malkin
    February 20, 2008
Like Michelle Obama, I am a “woman of color.” Like Michelle Obama, I am a working mother of two young children. Like Michelle Obama, I am a member of the 13th generation of Americans born since the founding of our great nation.
Unlike Michelle Obama, I can’t keep track of the number of times I’ve been proud — really proud — of my country since I was born and privileged to live in it.
At a speech in Milwaukee this week on behalf of her husband’s Democratic presidential campaign, Mrs. Obama remarked, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.”
Mrs. Obama’s statement was met with warm applause from other Barack supporters who have apparently also been devoid of pride in their country for their adult lifetimes. Or maybe it was just a Pavlovian response to the word “change.” What a sad, empty, narcissistic, ungrateful, unthinking lot.
I’m just seven years younger than Mrs. Obama. We’ve grown up and lived in the same era. And yet, her self-absorbed attitude is completely foreign to me. What planet is she living on? Since when was now the only time the American people have ever been “hungry for change”? Michelle, ma belle, Barack is not the center of the universe. Newsflash: The Obamas did not invent “change” any more than Hillary invented “leadership” or John McCain invented “straight talk.”
We were both adults when the Berlin Wall fell, Michelle. That was earth-shattering change.
We’ve lived through two decades’ worth of peaceful, if contentious election cycles under the rule of law, which have brought about “change” and upheaval, both good and bad.
We were adults through several launches of the space shuttle, in case you were snoozing. And as adults, we’ve witnessed and benefited from dizzyingly rapid advances in technology, communications, science and medicine pioneered by American entrepreneurs who yearned to change the world and succeeded. You want “change”? Go ask the patients whose lives have been improved and extended by American pharmaceutical companies that have flourished under the best economic system in the world.
If American ingenuity, a robust constitutional republic and the fall of communism don’t do it for you, hon, then how about American heroism and sacrifice?
How about every Memorial Day? Every Veterans Day? Every Independence Day? Every Medal of Honor ceremony? Has she never attended a welcome home ceremony for the troops?
For me, there’s the thrill of the Blue Angels roaring over cloudless skies. And the somber awe felt amid the hallowed waters that surround the sunken U.S.S. Arizona at the Pearl Harbor memorial.
Every naturalization ceremony I’ve attended, where hundreds of new Americans raised their hands to swear an oath of allegiance to this land of liberty, has been a moment of pride for me. So have the awesome displays of American compassion at home and around the world. When millions of Americans rallied to help victims of the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia — including members of the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group that sped from Hong Kong to assist survivors — my heart filled with pride. It did again when the citizens of Houston opened their arms to Hurricane Katrina victims and folks across the country rushed to their churches, and Salvation Army and Red Cross offices to volunteer.

  26. “It’s also funny how a video linked from the Hillaryis44 attack site is getting comments mostly from Obama supporters!”

Comment from Youtube. Can we comment and rate up this video?

  27. stopobama – part of a 527 grant? just wondering. Great site and it’s interesting this stuff that’s popping up HilaryspeaksforMe and StopObama both aimed at younger audiences.

  28. ADMIN – would you post this pic sometime? someone had told me about this statue from the Natl Women’s Party that sits in the rotunda of the Capital Rotunda, and that blob in the middle is supposed to be carved into our first woman President.

    carteretcountyschools.org/aes/dc/images/day2/Day4/capital/SusanAnt.JPG

from an acquaintance who explained: “It features Lucretia Mott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Susan B. Anthony. ” this piece was added to the Capitol collection in 1921 as a gift from the National Women’s Party. Designed by Adelaide Johnson (1846-1955) as a tribute to the passage of the 19th Amendment.” I have seen this statue and did not realize that the lump in the middle is waiting to be carved into the likeness of our first woman president. Isn’t that cool?”

  29. the Bill Richardson non-endorsement article that I’m reposting from Levan –

What’s up with Bill Clinton’s matchy matchy look with the sofa?

The second reinforces (over & over) the stereotype that Hillary’s a bitch, and this is something to celebrate?

    It’s a mindfuck.

Well, you’re not much fun. lol

The opener focused on the media’s fatal attraction for Barack Obama (SNL has never been shy about mocking MSNBC/NBC’s news division); In Tina Fey’s Weekend Update “commentary” — where she identifies herself as a “bitch” (i.e.: plebian for outspoken female..yikes!) — she actually ridicules that stereotype. I’d say both points were favorable to us/Hillary.

  31. Here’s Tina’s segment on Hillary. Expect this to be down by tomorrow, if it lasts that long. NBC is really anal about clips, especially SNL. If anyone has any other way of sharing, let me know and I’ll send you the original.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzJjvWA0Vuc

Tina was the first female head writer of SNL and she and Amy Poehler were the first female anchor team for The Weekend Update. Bitches get things done!

  32. Agree Kingsgrove – two points for Hillary in this week’s SNL – the millions of people who watch SNL get their observations validated – with a lead-off skit “CNN is in the tank for Obama” and “Yes we can show our bias” towards a candidate –

Really good ones – and a collective sigh from (hopefully) millions saying, Wow, people feel that way too.

    Good one!

and I love “what’s wrong with two smart, qualified people being co-Presidents” – “I really just want to watch Starsky.”

  33. remember how CNN did a story on how they were on The View? – well, let’s see if CNN does a story on how they were on SNL – being “in the tank for Obama.”

  36. 2/23/2008 12:31:40 PM

President Clinton sent out the following message this morning:

    Dear Friend,

Thursday night in the debate, in one remarkable moment, we saw the kind of president Hillary is going to be — the strong, compassionate, and brilliant woman who will make us proud as president.

Everyone in the upcoming primary states of Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island, and Vermont needs to see that moment. The campaign has put together a 60-second ad with the video, but we cannot run it without your immediate financial support. We need to raise $1.3 million in the next 24 hours to put this ad on the air.

Watch the ad and make a contribution to help us get it on the air.

We’re just 10 days away from a monumental day of voting, one that will decide the outcome of this remarkable contest between two history-making campaigns. The Obama campaign realizes the stakes and is putting it all on the line with a massive advertising campaign.

We have to give Hillary the resources she needs to make this a fair fight — including running the ad based on her amazing moment from Thursday night’s debate. We need to raise $1.3 million to get this ad on the air and to match the Obama campaign’s ad spending in Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island, and Vermont. We have to reach that goal in the next 24 hours.

Watch our new ad and contribute to help us get it on the air in Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

With your extraordinary help she will win. And knowing that you are there for her now, as you have been throughout this race, means more than you can possibly imagine.

We can do this together. Let’s keep working.

    Bill Clinton

  37. “Whenever I’m in the United States Senate, I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,” Obama frequently tells voters…

and when your not in the Senate????

  38. Here come the Repub attacks on Obama:Questioning Patriotism:

By NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writer
    1 hour, 35 minutes ago

Sen. Barack Obama’s refusal to wear an American flag lapel pin along with a photo of him not putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem led conservatives on Internet and in the media to question his patriotism.

Now Obama’s wife, Michelle, has drawn their ire, too, for saying recently that she’s really proud of her country for the first time in her adult life.

Conservative consultants say that combined, the cases could be an issue for Obama in the general election if he wins the nomination, especially as he runs against Vietnam war hero Sen. John McCain.

“The reason it hasn’t been an issue so far is that we’re still in the microcosm of the Democratic primary,” said Republican consultant Roger Stone. “Many Americans will find the three things offensive. Barack Obama is out of the McGovern wing of the party, and he is part of the blame America first crowd.”

Opponents of Sen. John Kerry proved in the 2004 election that voters are sensitive to suggestions that a candidate is not sufficiently patriotic. The Democratic presidential nominee’s campaign was torpedoed by critics of his Vietnam War record called the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, even though he won multiple military honors and was lauded by his superiors.

The Swift Boat campaign started as a relatively small television ad buy that exploded into an issue that dogged Kerry for months. The Massachusetts senator has conceded since losing to President Bush that the campaign and his lackluster response to unsubstantiated allegations he considered unworthy of a reaction likely cost him the election. And the term even became part of the campaign lexicon — swift boating.

Obama already is the subject of a shadowy smear campaign based on the Internet that falsely suggests he’s a Muslim intent on destroying the United States. Obama is a Christian and has been fighting the e-mail hoax, which also claims he doesn’t put his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance, and he’s been trying to correct the misinformation.

“Whenever I’m in the United States Senate, I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,” Obama frequently tells voters.

“I’ve been going to the same church for 20 years, praising Jesus,” he adds.

Retired Major General Scott Gration, an Obama military adviser, said he expects the attacks will only increase if Obama wins the Democratic nomination.

“People are projecting things and taking things out of context,” Gration said. “There’s absolutely no question in my mind that Michelle and Barack are extremely patriotic, appreciate our freedoms and our values and everything else that the flag represents.”

Officials with the McCain campaign and the Republican Party say they won’t be suggesting Obama is less than patriotic, and instead plan to focus their criticisms on his record and inexperience if he wins the nomination. Well-funded outside groups, however, consider anything fair game.

Conservative Republican consultant Keith Appell, who worked with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, said Obama’s opposition to the war will create a “striking contrast between McCain the war hero and Obama the poster child for the anti-war movement.”

“If you are McCain, you want to play up the decorated war hero, loves his country, served his country,” Appell said. “You want to play those themes up as much as possible, especially in comparison to Obama and his role in the anti-war movement.”

On Monday, Michelle Obama told an audience in Milwaukee, “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country. Not just because Barack is doing well, but I think people are hungry for change.”

Cindy McCain, McCain’s wife, days later responded by saying, “I have, and always will be, proud of my country.” Barack Obama has expressed frustration that his wife’s remarks had been taken out of context and turned into political fodder — both the Obamas say she was talking about politics in the United States, not the country itself.

Last summer, Obama was photographed by Time magazine at an event in Iowa standing with his hands folded during the national anthem. His primary rivals Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson appear beside him, with their hands on their hearts.

It has been repeatedly reported that the moment came during the Pledge of Allegiance, but that’s not the case.

In October, Obama told Iowa television station KCRG that he decided to stop wearing a U.S. flag lapel pin during the run-up to the Iraq war because it had become “a substitute for, I think, true patriotism.”

“I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest. Instead, I’m going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great and, hopefully, that will be a testimony to my patriotism,” Obama said.

Obama’s comments led conservatives and media commentators to question his patriotism.

“First he kicked his American flag pin to the curb. Now Barack Obama has a new round of patriotism problems. Wait until you hear what the White House hopeful didn’t do during the singing of the national anthem,” said Steve Doocy, co-host of “Fox and Friends” on the Fox News Channel.

“He felt it OK to come out of the closet as the domestic insurgent he is,” former radio host Mark Williams said on Fox.

Gration said he had a copy of the national anthem photo e-mailed to him by a friend who didn’t know the facts and questioned how a military man could support someone who doesn’t honor the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I go to baseball games and football games and there’s just a minority of us who put our hands over our heart. It’s not an indication of patriotism,” Gration said. Gration said he personally wears a flag pin, but “if I meet someone who doesn’t have a lapel pin, it doesn’t mean they are more or less patriotic than I am.”

And, he added, “I don’t think you can find Barack again not putting his hand over his heart at the national anthem.”

  39. The question is, WHY did it take somebody from the crowd to show those mailers to Hillary.

Somebody is her campaign is in the tank for Obama..they are lying to her, keeping things from her and giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

This lying bullshit has being going on for months…Those mailers went out in California and everywhere else.

We know that Hillary’s core support is there and perhaps this tougher Hillary can manage to highlight his lying, cheating ass-side and put some saneness back in the campaign and get some undecides as well

  40. skmf12: I think I have broken the code.

When the Great Bamboozler tosses out that nonsensical statement we are the ones we have been waiting for it begs the very response you suggest, namely then why have we been waiting since we have been here all along.

But if you change one little word in that construct the intent becomes crystal clear. “I” am the one you have been waiting for. He cannot say that because he would be laughed off the stage as a religious kook. So he implies it, and as the song says “Fools Rush In Where Angels Fear To Tread”.

  41. TD,

    Thanks for the link.
“Bitch is the new black!’ 😀
“There’s a reason nuns teach at Catholic School instead of priests. They’re mean, they sleep on cots and they get to hit you. You hated their guts but at the end of the year you knew what the capitol of Vermont was.” hahahaha

  42. Dot,

“WHY did it take somebody from the crowd to show those mailers to Hillary. Somebody is her campaign is in the tank for Obama.’

Jeeeeez. i hope that isn’t true but you could be right. If so, what a tragedy! Maybe that’s why she hasn’t addressed the ‘Democrat for a Day’ issue which, IMHO, is even worse than the mailers as it’s giving BO fraudulent votes.

  43. Regardless of what anyone tries to tell you, Barack Obama has undermined a core Democratc value by attacking the position of Hillary and John Edwards on universal health care, and promoting his own proposal which will leave 15 million Americans uninsured. Superdelegates must take this into account when they weigh the merits of his candidacy.

  44. basil9: I got the sense from her comments that this information had been published before, her campaign had warned the obama campaign that it was false and obama agreed to stop, but now he has resumed. If so then it might be new news that he is back at it again in Ohio, and the mailing may have been recent. If these suppositions are not accurate, then I too would wonder why staff did not pick up this up earlier.

  45. “we are the change we have been waiting for.”

What the heck does that mean anyway? How narcistic…grrr…silly…

With Hillary going after Obama yesterday, she wasn’t doing it just to set the record straight, she was also doing the party’s job of policing. How sad that Dean, Brazille, even Kenedy have not come out and supported her in this travesty of justice.

  46. “How sad that Dean, Brazille, even Kenedy have not come out and supported her in this travesty of justice.”

Why would they? Obama is their creation. This is really a fight for defining the Democratic Party. The Far LEft wing…Obama, Brazille, Kennedy, Dean, Feingold et al. Progressives

Clinton is a centerist. She will talk to big business, she UNDERSTANDS the centerist nature of MOST of America while still having the social moral connection that big business, insurance companies, no-bid contracts (McCain) should not be running the agenda. It’s a balancing act that MUST be done, and she has no supporters from the DEM Party Brass who want the far left agends. America WILL regret it if Obama wins, IMO.

  47. i really dislike the “far” of any wing. BE it left or right wing. These are usually the people that make it impossible to be united and sometimes, to move forward.

Throughout America’s history, only centrist ideas and politicians can truly succeed in bringing about change.

  48. wbboei,
Yes. She said during her remarks yesterday that the BO campaign had been warned about the health care mailer being a total fabrication.
But why hasn’t SOMEONE pointed out to her or her campaign the Democrat for a Day strategy and why isn’t she attacking it? Don’t you think such tactics are fraudulent and illegal under DNC rules? Since when are dems allowed free rein to attack other dems and permitted to solicit voters from another party to support them and then tell them after the primary vote they can go back to being repubs or indies? You expect those dirty tricks from the repubs but from someone in your party?

  49. I NEVER I thought II would EVER agree with Bill Kristol. I still cannot stand him, but he was right on FOX this morning. HC needs to define Barack better. Not herself. We know who she is, and the far left and the pugs can’t stand her. I am for BALANCE. Obama is for sweeping reform, in the middle of two wars, an economy in the tank, bankruptcies at record numbers, home foreclosures at record numbers. Healthcare unaffordable. He will tank this economy faster than Dale Earnhardt at Daytona. Then go have lunch with Chavez.

  50. basil9, I’m sure that is something she has up her sleeve that she will ask Bambi about in the next Ohio debate. It will leave him floundering and stuttering to explain and at the same time, her remarks and calling attention to the next debate will urge many people to watch. Hillary can prepare for this debate to kill off Obama’s message once and for all and leave him with his blind supporters as the candidate of cults.

  51. @Basil “You expect those dirty tricks from the repubs but from someone in your party?”

they ARE using the rove playbook, IMO maybe even rove himself through 6 degrees of separation. After all …it worked for Rove.

  52. if Hillary plays her cards right, the MSNBC debate in Ohio can rightfully destroy Obama’s credibility. It will likely be MSNBC’s most watched debate ever. And Hillary can bring in documents proving Obama’s dirty “democrat for a day” flyers.

  53. Thank God for the Hillary supporter who gave HER those mailers.

I swear I think some of her staff is friggin asleep at the station.

Get with it. Fund raising is at an all time high online, you have a brilliant, caring candidate.

She can’t do all this by herself.

  54. @MJS “Throughout America’s history, only centrist ideas and politicians can truly succeed in bringing about change.”

I am not really sure that I agree with this, but the IDEAS of change come from the left (or right) of a party. (look at the religious right…radicals at first, now a part of the GOP platform) With GOOD LEADERSHIP and over time, those ideologies become the “law of the land”. The idea that Barack Obama can do it in one fell swoop will be a disaster.

  55. @dot: I swear I think some of her staff is friggin asleep at the station.

Get with it. Fund raising is at an all time high online, you have a brilliant, caring candidate. ”

    no shit

  56. Spacegirl, by that comment, i meant that there must always be compromise. Change comes aobut in healthy and slow doses of a new direction, and to me, that’s a very centrist approach. It doesn’t upset lives or create radicality, and at the same time, it moves the American people progressively.

Radical change in any sense is never good.

  57. the thing is, Bambi will no more effect SWEEPING changes than the man in the moon.

Nadar on MTP now as an independent.

  58. I wonder if Nader announce if he will get ANY Press coverage. He is the constant burr in the side of the DNC. He just announced.

  59. i don’t know who these buffoons are that keep convincing Nadar every year that he can get any more than 2% of the vote.

  60. Idunn
my 7 yr old niece is very worried about you. she asked me what i was doing and i explained the website to her and told her about the woman living in the cherokee national forest who had to live on scrambled eggs and only had basic cable.
she was very upset. I told the neighbors had a horse that regularly meanders over and if you had to you could eat that.
She was, however, at aloss regarding the basic cable.

  61. Has anyone posted this:
The spoiler in 2000 just announced to run for president on NBC’s Meeting the Press. More fun coming 🙂

  62. we are only short a bit on the goal of 2.2 million. come on everyone.

Look to see that number go up by $1,000 here in a minute..I’m getting out a credit card of mine that’s been paid off and I’m going in debt again…but this is my last chance to help WIN BACK AMERICA.

  63. Hmm. Maybe Nader might be a good thing this year when Obama loses. All the anti-Hillary democrats who might’ve been swayed to vote for McCAin before can now get all over Nader. Now, if only BLoomberg ran too, we can steal independents from McCAin.

  64. spacegirl, Dot, MJS,
I agree the entire BO strategy seems suspiciously similar to the Rove playbook. If WE notice this, it seems inconceivable that the DNC and Dem party leadership isn’t aware of it. So why isn’t someone imposing some kind of sanctions on the BO campaign? It must be because they approve of any tactics to deny HRC the nomination. That’s election rigging. That’s voter fraud. That’s the same old dirty tricks BO presumably is fighting to “CHANGE.” He’s the real ‘insider.” The Clintons have always been the outsiders. BTW, if anyone sees Tiburones could you flag him and let him know I’ll take his offer of donating $30.44 for him providing a half hour of calling?

  65. MJS…this is going to be one of the most fascinating processes in election history. My bet tho is that Nader will get no press so the golden boy doesnt get hurt. Also, about half of America just rolled their eyes when he announced.

  66. SpacegirlArt, I actually hope more independents run. It’s not like Hillary has ever been extremely popular with independents regardless. I think Bloomberg can sweep up Bambi’s disgruntled blind fans and some of McCain’s independents. Nader will appeal to the radical hillary-hating left and right-win Republicans will probably sit a lot of this out because they hate McCain with a passion. Under these circumstances, I honestly believe Hillary can sweep the nation in the GE.

  67. we now wait for bloomberg, unless bambi already tapped him for veep, as has been speculated. But what would his throngs think of THAT!? big busiiness billionaire in the progressive movement.

  68. Hillary and McCain are going to be the only ones who look sane to the voters. Now, I am not saying McCain is sane re: issues, but he will have appeal. People come home when things get too freaky. Nader just made it freaky.

  69. I wonder how the Bambi bloggers are handling this…will Nader be skeletor too, like they call McCain? Gonna go look. I’ll be back. I am sure all they had to do was hit “post”. Their comments were probably already prepared and distributed by Obama Central

  70. MJS, more and more are lookin at Bamboozle. Many will NOT vote for HRC, to be sure. But many may look twice at nader. The Nader supporters were many in the “boozler’s base, I am sure, as they could not support republican paul. But to be sure, it will be interesting. It all in the numbers now.

  71. From Howard Kurtz, Reliable Sources. Listening now while doing chores.

“HRC gets mad, really mad about the BO campaign flyers but have the media bothered to check the facts?”

“Why do the cable networks give full coverage to long BO campaigns and not give other candidates equal coverage?” (paraphrasing)

  72. I also sent Hillary a support message just now.

You know, I think Hillary support is so strong and I just feel us all binding together…her support is unwavering .. if we could just shake that stupidity crowd that is under BHOI, the BarackHusseinObamaInfluence. It comes from the koolaid and we have to find a quick fix.

This is the problem with the neo left, Nader doesn’t have a snowball chance in HELL in being elected POTUS. His benefit to our country was as a advocate and he would make a lousy president. Nader doesn’t know the word compromise, it his way or the highways.

  74. Tavis Smiley and family get death threats for calling out Obama.

    welcome to the far left.

    cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/23/obama.sobu/index.html

  75. OMG…the SNL debate skit is a riot!

“I think you owe Obamagirl and the people of this nation and enormous Obamapology.”

I’m still cracking up. They had it down to Hillary’s suit collar. And to think they totally threw that together in 2 days.

  76. Carby, I agree with you completely. But his entranc einto the race, IF he gets ANY coverage, will be interesting to watch.

Bamboozle is a fabrication of the DNC, and they will pay.

  77. For those asking about Obama’s planet progressions for March 4th:

There’s nothing remarkable in his chart for that date, so far as I can see. I don’t see him really gaining or losing anything wrt Ohio and Tx. My guess is that he’ll probably lose, but not by huge margins (we can already see that’s probably going to be the case just but looking at polls, so no surprises there).

However, on March 8th , there’s a transitting planet aspect that is very interesting. On that day, Mars will transit his natal Venus and in doing so will form an opposition to his natal pluto in his 10th house. The 10th house, along with the midheaven there, is what influences our professional sucesses. Oddly enough, this aspect involves his natal Venus as well as Mars. Look for some major upheaval in his career that involves behind the scenes maneuvering and somehow effects or involves his wife, Michelle….or maybe his marriage(?).

(and no, I don’t think it’s the Larry thing…I think that’s probably BS. But who knows?)

  78. hillfans, Hillary will get support from independents and some or lots of conservative in GE when she run against McCain thus win to become 44. That is why so many Repubs cross party line to stop her.

  79. Spacegirl, don’t worry. Who watches Meet The PRess anyways? Especially on a sunday when most people are either in church or just hanging around on a lazy sunday. Theo nly one who listens to pumpkinhead is drooling-matthews.

  80. Normally I like to hear myself speak, but this cut/paste from http://www.stop-obama.org/?p=91 is quite **sweet**

what all of you idiots [Obama Robots] need to do is take that incompetent candidate and teach him how to get through a presidential debate. Obama will not win the general election. You know this and all of America knows it as well. You, and all of the Obama robots make me SICK. Oh, by the way, remember your golden boy cannot win without Hillary supporters. Since Obama entire campaign has been geared towards trying to eliminate Hillary chances at the nomination, he has less than a zero chance of getting Hillary supporters to back him.

It is time to take to wake up and see the writing on the wall. Obama IS A TOTAL JOKE and the Republicans will wash the floor with your boy.

  81. idunn, Rezko trial begins on March 3rd. Probably will have explosive stuff by March 7th or 8th?

Maybe….in his natal chart there’s a T-square aspect that involves his 9th house (philosophies, how we think on deep levels), his 12th house (end cycles) and his 3rd house (family, early life). This is a major life aspect for him, and an extremely difficult one given they form a T-square. What’s odd, to me at least , is that the T-square points to Neptune in Scorpio in his 12th house. That indicates very real enemies, secret addictions , possibly jail or death. Now, if it’s Rezko , jail makes sense. But that’s not the feeling I’m getting.

I’m getting a very clear sense (due to other placings in his chart) that drugs/addictions/ excess of some sort is his undoing.

(again, I’m not talking about Larry)

  82. well he hasn’t been looking too well lately. Maybe somebody really has hexed him. Those blue lips of his a quite scary.

Since he hasn’t been vetted … there are sooo many things in his closets — or hers too.

  83. Since he hasn’t been vetted … there are sooo many things in his closets — or hers too.

Hmmm…hadn’t thought of the skeletons that might be in HER closet. I was focusing more on something going on with HIM that would affect HER. I should see if there’s birth certificate info available online for Michelle.

  84. Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well! 😉

Its a new day today! I love how Hillary said, “Shame on you Barack Obama!”

Please consider donating – she is still shy of 2.2 million dollars – if you can’t donate it send the request to your co-workers, friends, and family members that supports Hillary or may be moved by the video of her. Please, let’s do better then 2.2 million dollars!

I’m going to donate again 😉

Anyone know if anyone will endorse Hillary (sad to say it seems that this year around its endorsements that plays a key).

  85. today: “Hillary holds a rally in Providence and a health care roundtable in Central Falls, Rhode Island and attends a low dollar fundraiser in Boston, Massachusetts… President Bill Clinton holds an early vote event in Arlington, Texas and rallies in Bowling Green, Lima, and Springfield, Ohio.”

  86. Nader wants single payer healthcare which is what Hillary should be calling for. Nader indicated that the majority of the people want single payor healthcare, 59% of the doctors want single payor healthcare. I wish she had come out with that.

I don’t know how much damage he will cause. If Hillary is not nominated, I may vote for him. I don’t like Obama. He scares me.

I gave my $50.44 yesterday. It is going to take a year for me to pay off my credit cards. I sure hope this is worth it.

  87. No birth time on the net for MO, none that I could find anyway. Makes doing an accurate chart on her impossible, so there’s no need to bother with it.

  88. Kurtz says it was striking when BO’s speech last Tuesday broke into HRC’s and he got 46 minutes of coverage whereas she got only 7 minutes, implying it was biased and unfair media coverage.
    IDunn,
    Very interesting.
Spacegirl, yeah, I read about the tavis Smiley death threats in response to him critisizing BO for not attending the SOTBU event. A foreshadowing of what the rest of us can expect under BO rule? Total censorship? I’m surprised it’s not more of an issue. Sinclair is also getting death threats.

  89. One of the weirdest things about BO’s chart (there’s alot of weird stuff BTW), is that T-square formation. There’s something major about his family (mother, father, siblings, cousins, etc.), his career path , and his end cycle. Something we’re all missing.

I don’t know. I’ll sit with his chart more this afternoon and see if I can put more pieces of the puzzle together.

Makes me immediately (with no real basis in fact mind you) think of his father and his cousin(?) Raila Odinga.

  90. Has anyone ever heard anything about Raila Odinga and drugs???

Can anyone point me to links that give more info on this guy?

  91. I saw this up thread and may be a fun idea. I will match $200.44 (fixed and not per person — not that rich :() at the end of the day with one or more volunteers to call.

ok, I am a little hesitant to get into this. But others have predicted similar things — I think there was one from modernvedicastrology.com

  93. PM, I looked at that site. I don’t see BO’s actual chart there, so I have no idea how accurate it is. The problem with BO is that there’s no real info on his birth time with the exception of one mention 2nd hand. I worked my chart using that time, and compared the placings for accuracy. I think it’s pretty damned close, if not right on the money.

But anyway, any astrology that isn’t based on accurate birth times is pretty much useless.

  94. Normally I love to hear the sound of my own “voice”, but here’s a cut/past from “Pamela” at http://www.stop-obama.org/?p=91 that is quite **sweet**.

  95. dot48 – I have no idea, it was updated yesterday evening but since then not yet. Let’s hope she does well.

Besides Akron newspaper enorsement of Hillary we need more positive news.

  96. devans: dont believe it . Someone probably ventured that opinion because the trial got set back a week. Not everyone out there had drunk the koolaid. Trials like this one move along on their own timetable.

  97. frank rich is a mean spirited jerk who absolutely hates the clintons. he was scathing last time around. i havent read this week but you already know what you’re in for. he’s irrational to the point that in a previous column he declared that hillary asking an african american woman to moderate the hallmark channel townhall was racist (really!). this guy used to be a theater critic and trashed the hell out of al gore in 2000 and he’s just doing the same shit again. forget him.

for all wondering about the health care flyers no idea whether hillary had personally seen them before but they were definitely in politico around new hampshire primary (hi Ben!) calling them harry and louise ads, i assume that came from her staff. i have gotten into arguments with bho-supporting friends (they are hopeless.. lol) about these mailers and they tell me, oh, that was an isolated thing, it doesn’t really count. i wonder what they say now that he started doing it again.

  98. hope i didn’t offend with the scrambled eggs

What did you say about scrambled eggs?

I’m eating alot of scrambled eggs lately. But tonight, we’re going ritzy and eating quesedeas. 😉

  99. LMAO!

Oh, I LUV LUV LUV it! That is totally awesome. Rings true on soooo many levels.

Greetings all. HIllary will be in Boston tonight and I get to see her! I also convinced 3 neighbors I met at the dog park to come to the rally and got a new donor to give $500 to meet her.

The debate has turned the tide. Lets all give Hillary the kind of comeback she wants to give America.

  104. Larry Sinclair results delayed until 1:00-1:30 EST so they can post second polygraph examiners analysis. However this saga turns out it has been a diversion to read about but depending on the results it could genuinely be a story.

  105. This Democrat for a day thing is so irritating, on so many different levels. For one thing, the media plays up Obama’s crossover appeal to Republicans and Independents, when in reality, what if most of it, is anti-Hillary voting? It seems to be voter fraud, but I don’t think, there are any laws against it. How does one prove it? What % are actually voting anti-Hillary vs true voting for Obama? What I can’t understand, what appeal does a left-wing liberal have for a conservative Republican. It does not compute (at least for me).

We’re trying to get universal healthcare first and Clinton plan will get us to there but single payor will not fly at all because how are Healthcare system is tied into our economy.

Why don’t these guys get it, our economy is fragile and a balance act is needed to make sure it doesn’t tip over to the red zone. This isn’t the 60’s when the US currency was the dominate one around.

  107. This is from the Prince of Darkness, for what it’s worth;
THE unexpected endorsement of Barack Obama by Teamsters President James Hoffa followed private indications by Bill Clinton that the 19-year federal monitoring of the big union under a court decree would not be ended under a Hillary Clinton presidency.
Hoffa previously had told friends he probably would stay neutral in the presidential race. He changed his mind, according to union sources, partly because of pro-Obama sentiment among rank-and-file Teamsters and partly because of former President Clinton’s attitude about the consent decree.
Obama has indicated willingness to end federal oversight of the Teamsters.

  108. “What I can’t understand, what appeal does a left-wing liberal have for a conservative Republican. It does not compute (at least for me).”

there isnt any, but there is a lot of Hillary hate and a lot of McCain hate

if Bambi wind in the GE, 2/3 of the country will be disenfranchised

  113. Ronals, when you meet her, thank her for us all and then ask how she feels about Obama’s Democrat for a Day campaign

Two leading governors tout the Democratic Party’s rules.
Seating barred delegates, they say, is a suspect proposal.

Los Angeles Times February 24, 2008

WASHINGTON — Two prominent Democratic governors, both supporters of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign, voiced doubts Saturday about her argument that her victories in Florida and Michigan should count toward her delegate total.
Pennsylvania’s Edward G. Rendell and New Jersey’s Jon Corzine suggested that it would be seen as unfair to award those delegates to Clinton, given the Democratic Party’s ruling that the vote in those two states would not count.

Trailing in delegates to Sen. Barack Obama, the Clinton campaign has said she would fight to seat Michigan’s and Florida’s delegates at the Democratic convention in August.

The Democratic National Committee stripped the two states of their delegates as a penalty for leapfrogging ahead of other states in the election calendar, a violation of party rules.

Obama and Clinton had agreed not to campaign in Florida and Michigan, partly so as not to offend states that traditionally hold early primaries and caucuses. In Michigan, Obama’s name was not on the ballot.

Clinton defeated Obama in Florida, 50% to 33%. In Michigan, Clinton won 55% of the vote, versus 40% for “uncommitted.”

Howard Wolfson, communications director for the New York senator’s campaign, said in an interview Saturday night: “We will be urging our delegates to vote to seat the delegations from Michigan and Florida. We believe that their votes should count.”

Several Democratic governors interviewed at the winter meeting of the National Governors Assn. here said that would be a mistake.

Rendell said the Clinton camp could not make a convincing case that Michigan delegates should be added to her column: “You can’t make any argument in Michigan, because Hillary was the only person who was on the ballot. I’m as avid a Hillary supporter as there is, but I don’t think we can make an argument in Michigan.”

In Florida, Rendell said, the Clinton campaign can mount a “tenable argument” that delegates should be awarded. Obama was on the ballot in Florida, for one thing. And Obama ran a television campaign ad there. It was part of a national cable ad buy. Rendell said it was likely an accident that it ran in Florida:”I believe he just didn’t think to redact Florida from the buy,” the Pennsylvania governor said.

The Clinton campaign has said that by airing the ad, the Illinois senator violated the pledge not to campaign in Florida.

And Clinton maintains that she did not campaign in the state, though she did appear there for several fundraising events before the vote. When it comes to Florida, Rendell said, “At least you can make a tenable argument . . . I’m not sure it’s a winning argument.”

Corzine said that a fair resolution would be for the two states to vote again. Because of their importance in presidential elections, neither state should be “disenfranchised,” said Corzine, who has endorsed Clinton.

In the face of the Democratic National Committee ruling that the votes in Michigan and Florida would not count, he said it would not be acceptable to change the rules.

“I think actually given how the votes came about, we probably need a revote,” Corzine said. “Some kind of new primary. I don’t really see how you can ignore Florida and Michigan.”

Other Democratic governors who have not endorsed a candidate took positions at odds with that of the Clinton campaign.

“I hate to see anyone disenfranchised, but my gut reaction to that
Michigan and Florida are large, important states that the party hopes to carry in the general election, and nullifying election results sends the wrong sort of message.
Asked how the party should resolve the impasse, Rendell said, jokingly:
    “Shoot [DNC Chairman] Howard Dean.”

Such a pain in the ass trying to post on this blog!
Not dealing with this shit today!!!

  116. i have a very strong feeling that since the company conducted a SECOND polygraph test and spent more time/money on the matter, that the Sinclair results have turned out that he has been telling the truth. WHo would test someone twice to confirm the information as false?

  117. PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Sen. Barack Obama is flush with momentum and cash, and that’s translated to a big advantage in spending on TV ads in Rhode Island.
    more stories like this

The Providence Journal reports that Obama is outspending rival Hillary Clinton more than three to one in advertising on four major stations.

He’s booked more than 640 commercial spots at a cost of $156,000 in the two and half weeks before the March 4 primary.

Clinton has booked about 160 ads at a cost of about $43,000.

Clinton’s Rhode Island campaign says it will compensate for the gap by reaching voters on the phone and in person.

Clinton visits Rhode Island on Sunday for a fundraiser and rally.

  118. So the guy I met last month visitng here in PR who is in the Nadar inner circle was right — he said Nadar would make a run and sure enough…

  119. “”I believe he just didn’t think to redact Florida from the buy,” the Pennsylvania governor said.”

    this is TOTAL BULLSHIT

he already came out and said they could not be pulled from a national buy

  120. I wonder how Obama’s thugs will try to censor the polygraph findings. I sure hope that Sinclair has a bodyguard.

As far as a 2nd polygraph test goes, it’s up in the air for me why they did a second one. I’m hopeful but reluctant to say this will go our way.

  121. Things like Sinclair (which I find hard to believe, polygraphs or not) and Nadar entering the race only underscore the unpredictability of and the need for Hill to stay in this race, come what may.

John King doing his best to deviate from Hill’s HC mailer assault on BO yesterday and portray her as desperate.
And the substance of her charges?????

    SpaceGirl,
    Hug, hug.

  122. @MJS,

LOL…I love your optimism and I really hope you are right. The pessimism in me comes from age and a lot of cynicism over the dirty tricks played in elections time and time again.

  123. @birdgal,

I read about that in a post here yesterday. I don’t think they have a leg to stand on seeing as Obama has benefited from 527 ads on his side as well and never decried their usage then.

  124. Rendell said that? In addition to sabotaging the campaign on Michigan?
    Traitor in our midst?

BTW, Obama’s excuse that they couldn’t remove FLA frmo their ad buy is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.
Of course you can dictate your ad not run somewhere.
And they fuckin get away with it….

gotta go out, catch ya’ll later….

  125. JanH, its also from evidence. LOL

REpublicans are all rejoicing at this new ammunition, most likely. And Sinclair has received death threats for a while now, but nothing has happened to him. I assure you that most likely, REpublicans have been keeping a protective watch over him 😀

  126. Bill Burton, the Obama for America press secretary, called the attack “misguided.”

“Both national cable networks told us it would be impossible for us to run advertising nationally that excluded only Florida,” Burton said.

“For that reason we consulted with the South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Carol Fowler who told us unequivocally she did not consider this to be in violation of [the] pledge made to the early states.”

  127. My humble suggestions for Hillary to bring up (if the f*ckhead debate moderators won’t bring up the topic) regarding the Obama mailings (back in Nevada, and other states where crossover voting is allowed). She should address it head on, something to the effect:

I find that your mailings encouraging Republicans to vote Democratic for a day a perversion of the nomination process.

You encourage Republicans who will vote Republican in November to vote against me as a means of propping you up. The flyers say that a vote for a Dem in the primary doesn’t prohibit them from voting Rep in the general election. This is underhanded politics at its worst. We decried the Willie Horton ads and the Swfit Boaters, and this is much of the same.

The delegates and super delegates should be aware of how the potential nominees vie for the nomination. “Win at all costs” may benefit one candidate, yet cause our party to lose in November.

Do you consider this a fair strategy? Are you actually claiming to vie to reach across party lines? Or are you just exploiting loopholes in the Democratic rules on a state-by-state basis?

We want Democrats to pick the strongest Democrat. We don’t want outsiders to wreak havoc on our nomination process, to select who they’d want to run against.

The party heads should look at how each campaign has obtained its delegates, should there not be a clear winner by August.

I am proud how I’ve run campaign. Are you??

  128. from whitehouse.com: “Then, we’ll post the results, the names of both polygraph experts, and other relevant information, along with video and pictures, here on Whitehouse.com. Since the outcome of the test will be vital interest to the voting public, our findings will be made available before the presidential primaries in Texas and Ohio slated for March 4. That’s all for now, but check back for updates. “

  129. I just can’t see this Larry Sinclair thing being true. It just sounds…well…pretty incredible.

But hey, who knows? I for one couldn’t care less about the sexual thing but the drug thing? THAT grabs me.

Still…the whole thing just smacks of tabloid stuff to me.

  130. rgb44hrc,

Well said! Sigh…knowing how much the media loves to cut her off as far as airtime goes, I sure hope she gets the chance to say her piece this time. 🙂

  131. Anyone know, anything, about the lawsuit to prevent the 527 ads from proceeding or being aired?

Isn’t the NRA a 527? I see political ads run by them all the time.

  132. did Larry Craig’s accusations not sound like Tabloid stuff too? And they turned out to be true…

You make a good point there, Grasshopper.

  133. The two sides of Obama

Yhe blakck side is a Democrat

The white side is a Republican

this means he is able to speak out of both sides of his mouth.

That is what he says makes him a uniter, what it does not say, is that he is a big time BS’er.A modern day Elmer Gantry and a spittin image of Alfred Newman

This underscores the need for Hill to stay in this race, regardless of the outcomes in OH & TX.

You’ll be reading that here a lot.

  135. MJS, also, who believed at first that an intern had an affair with a sitting president and kept a stained blue dress as proof?

  137. Blue Dem: Not knocking Bill..just saying that sometimes outrageous stories can be true. Same with the Craig story. Sinclair may turn out to be a compete phony or mental case, we just don’t know but even though it is a tabloid type story it is something to watch.

  138. America loves a controversy. This Sinclair stuff will blow up if these test results turn out the right way. Larry has already filed a lawsuit again the Obama campaign and David Axelrod for trying to silence him.

  139. I know American Gal. Agreed, something to watch.

My bet is BM doesn’t go near this, regardless of polygraph results. Too ugly either way for them – and of course if he passes, they can’t let it hurt BO.

  140. there are so many instances of wild hypocrisy and tabloid-like stories. Many of them have indeed turned out to be true.

  141. MSM WILL report it.

They will be faced with a tough decision. Their love for Bambi? Or their love for money/ratings?

If even ONE news site like Fox starts playing it, the rest will follow and attack Obama and be just as vicious because if they are seen as too compromising, other stations will get the ratings.

  142. Anyone think, Sinclair might just be, trying to call attention to himself? It has happened before. It does sound very tabloid-like.

  143. getting nothing but answering machines and no answers in Ohio calls…will wait tile later in the day when people are home. Got almost everyone I called in Wisc 3-6

  144. birdgal, listen to this guy’s radio interview where he responded quickly and articulately to fast and brow-beating questions from the interviewer. This guy sounds pretty credible.

  145. Basil@9:50: I agree and can only assume the very arguments you make are being put before the superdelegates. Sometimes there is a difference between what is legally permissable and what is right for the party and the country. We can only hope that they understand the difference and do what is right.

  146. if this is bad enough, it can both destroy Obama’s presidential “hope”s and any argument the radical left have left to make Obama a VP slot with Hillary.

  147. MJS, I agree on the radio interview. If he’s not telling the truth I think he would have to be a delusional mental patient believing it to be true. He had lots of detail and has been consistent in various interviews. Again, doesn’t mean he is actually truthful.. just my personal observation. He could just be a very good liar.

Someone is posting on the YouTube site that Obama was absent from the Illinois state senate on Nov. 4, 1999, the day Sinclair says the incident took place. Evidently it’s in the Illinois state senate records–a link is given. This doesn’t mean anything by itself although if Sinclair is shown to have passed the polygraphs it might be supportive.

These results are either going to be a let down and we are back to other things or big, big news. I do think this will go mainstream if the tests show he passed (disagree with others on here saying they won’t).

  148. whitehouse.com will have a video and photos of the polygraph testing. potentially explosive right there. While we may look at Obama’s support as very rabid and cultish, keep in mind that many of his voters are soft too 😀

  149. LOL

Hillary will be asked to be President of Pakistan since Bhutto’s death!

  150. Looks like Obama camp trying to overturn caucus results by overwhelming county and state conventions. It was my understanding that there were only 10,000 state delegates chosen to represent counties at the Nevada state convention. Yet over 10,000 showed up at one county convention alone. I think the moonies are trying to intimidate Hillary delegates to switch sides.

Turnout Overwhelms Nevada Democratic County Conventions

LAS VEGAS — The hectic scramble for delegates between presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is playing out at Nevada Democrats’ county conventions. A surge of turnout Saturday overwhelmed southern Nevada party leaders and forced them to shut down the convention before completing the vote.Rowdy crowds quickly filled the Bally’s Hotel-Casino ballroom in Las Vegas to capacity and forced casino staff to close the doors early. Party leaders say that left hundreds of delegates outside.

The Bally’s staff says an estimated 10,000 people showed up there for the Clark County Convention, about 2,000 more than expected.

Clark County delegates account for 72 percent of the state convention delegation.

The confusion leaves the results of any Saturday voting vulnerable to a court challenge.

Meanwhile, early results from rural counties that were able to vote Saturday showed a slight shift in delegates toward Obama. And in the Reno-Sparks area, Obama nearly doubled his share of the delegates heading to the state convention.

    this is TOTAL BULLSHIT

he already came out and said they could not be pulled from a national buy

Well, then, he should not have taken a ‘national buy’. He should have bought smaller packages with fewer states in them. Since he had agreed not to campaign in FL, the ‘national buy’ WAS breaking the agreement.

  152. Woman on FOX “I am voting for Obama because he didn’t vote yes for the war”

they have successfully muddied the truth.

    Change = BS

  153. Las Vegas-What a travesty! Obama supporters are thugs, therefore, he is a thug. His supporters reflect upon him. He condones this behavior and tactics? This is very dangerous.

  154. the strong armed tactics of obama and his cult following are deplorable. Anybody who believes his bullshit ought to have to live with another 20 fcuking years of republican control. This shit now with the convention delegates is another “forceful” takeover of American way of life.

Court challenges??? I saw Hillary’s campaign should GO FOR IT. He’s using every dirtyass trick in the book all the while hiding behind of mask of Mr.Hope. Mr. Hope my asssss…

  155. birdgal
Why do you look at that crap? Take a look at some of their previous polls, I think they had Obama winning California by double digits and we all know how that turned out. The only half way reliable pollsters seem to be surveyusa and Rasmussen.

Zogby, ARG and USA are at the bottom of the pile.

  156. Let us pray that Hillary has a team in Nevada to challenge this stuff.

Also, do you know that Obama is advised by a guy named Ray MABUS….this is some scary stuff. I really do believe that this guy is some kind of cult monger.

  157. I think the media will downplay anything against Obama including if the Sinclair stuff is true. They have just been waiting to throw Bill Clinton history into this election and will not hesitate to say that what he did was so much worse.

  158. rjk1957, Ramaussen is Zogby JR. I don’t trust his polls for one minute either. He also had Hillary loosing California and NJ too as Zogby did. Have you read his commentary? That is one of the most biased BS I have ever read. I stopped reading his polls even if some might tend to favor Hillary.

  159. MEIYSING – are you around?? – you said you spoke Mandarin and Cantonese – pls email me at babyellen2008@gmail

    .

  160. Politics is dirty, that’s the way of politics!

Normally I would preferably have liked to see Hillary win this one straight up, but she has had the entire MSM against her and for Obama, this is a dirty game!!

So I must say, right now, I do hope sinclair passes the test, and how IRONIC wouldn’t it be, at the same time tragic(I wouldn’t want anyone to experience infidelity!), that this could happen to Michelle Obama???!?!
You all remember, “If you can’t control your own house…….” what goes around, comes around!!

  161. Caroline,

He had Hillary losing CA by 1 point 3 days before the primary about the same as most polls in the closing days except zogby who was way out there . He had Hillary winning NJ by 6 and she won by 9.

  162. ?????

what’s the point of that tim??

my point (I believe) still stand, why fuss about where this might have happened, I know the story is about the limo and hotel, I was just making a point about how michelle was so damn rude!

  163. Highest delegate counts in Texas, according to FOX, are in districts that have traditionally higher AA turnout, lower for Hispanics

  164. funny Tim.

Gorto – exactly. I didn’t want to dignify the Larry Sinclair stuff but if he passes two credible and reputable lie detector tests, how can one ignore that?

The super-delegates CAN’T – because they know it’ll be used to the hilt by the Republicans.

  165. RJK – if you’re sending the link about Nevada convention, just an FYI – Terry McAuliffe was in NV this past weekend to facilitate things.

  166. lninla

thanks. If Obama is doing these we need to do the same thing in states where he won the caucus by a wide margin. Storm the convention and scare the shit out of the Obama delegates.

That is GREAT! I hope they can start some advertising on the radio, as well.

  168. The really sad thing is the shaft that the American people are getting by this gang of thugs in the DNC. MOST people are not in the trenches like we are. They come home, turn on the news…Obama winning, Hillary mad, Wheel of Fortune.

Frames the win in a more pedestrian way. But the democracy is being stolen by the DEMOCRATS

  169. Morning 🙂

Thanks Linfar for posting that story. I appreciate it. I am a guy hon but I don’t mind. Makes it more safe for me from the obamabots 🙂

I love the SNL video. Very funny stuff 🙂

  170. RJK – if you’re sending the link about Nevada convention, just an FYI – Terry McAuliffe was in NV this past weekend to facilitate things.

I wonder, what his reaction was (is)?

  171. Okay I’m with Idunn on the tabloid thing
Is this whitehouse site for real or just a cruel joke by the obamabots to distract us

  172. At the end of an article I just read online, I found this to be rather funny:

Hillary went to the back of the plane to speak with the press, they had hung up some decorations in the plane.

“On a lighter note, Clinton was very amused with the decorations that were posted around the plane. One sign in particular caught her attention: “Hillary’s Pantsuit Schedule.” It lists “Mondays: Electric Blue, Tuesdays: Autumn Brown…Sundays: Sunshine Yellow.” Clinton belted out a laugh when she recognized that it was Sunday and sure enough, Clinton was wearing a yellow pants suit.”

  173. we are still short of 2.2 million dollars Hillary’s challenged us to raise

She as of now has raised: 2,089,746.

Please ask your friends to donate at http://www.hillaryclinton.com

She needs the 2.2 to keep showing the ads over the next several days to keep up with Obama.

  174. Why would they let just anyone into the county conventions anyway? They were for county delegates to choose representives at the state convention and should not have been open to the public to hold a rally.

  175. how IRONIC wouldn’t it be, at the same time tragic(I wouldn’t want anyone to experience infidelity!), that this could happen to Michelle Obama???!?!
You all remember, “If you can’t control your own house…….” what goes around, comes around!!

Aw, she’d just say it’s a vast centrist conspiracy.

  176. Idunn lol!!!

I know, I keep refreshing the page, they must have a lot of cash as they claim, to keep that site up and running now (excluding updating their page) as a lot of people must be paying attention now and refreshing

    Hurry up!!!!

  177. I just learned this today from a Yahoo group I belong to called Hillblazers08. Even though BO won the Virginia primary, Hillary won among white voters over the age of 60 by 2 to 1. Even more insightful, she won among all age groups of white voters over the age of 30! In my mind, the dividing line at 30 years old is pretty young.

I know some people here are still unsure that BO will lose the GE. I say the empty “hope and change” mantra is influencing your thinking. Never underestimate the seriousness of centrists–we want real solutions from proven leaders, not wishful thinking. Never overestimate the dislike conservatives have for McCain. Their dislike of him is nothing compared to their hatred of Democrats. When it comes to it, they will be out in force for him. The Democrats are looking at a big time loss in November if Hillary is not the nominee.

  178. OKAY WHEN DID THIS TURN INTO THE PSYCHIC HOT LINE?

can we stick to the campaign news?
44 has been really getting hokie lately..
a lot of people dont come here anymore cause of the bs..

  179. Don’t know what you all think about reverse speech, but I find it to be quite interesting, and a few clips up on youtube has shown some reverse speech clips of obama, and sinclair.

The ones about obama, just confirms what we know is true, he’s full of himself!!! And he knows his health care plan is doomed!

About sinclair, it catches him in reverse saying his story is true…. take away from this what you will, but it’s at least interesting.

  180. Idunn is making me jealous, firewood, bubblebath, food. Now I am cold (not really, it is hot and dry in my lil’ dorm room), I feel dirty (off to the showers in a moment), and am hungry (all I have right now is a little mini microwavable meal thingy). Damn.

  181. skmf12, you talking about this tabloid issue???

I’ll drop it if he fails the test!

But not until, and certainly not IF he passes!

With the media in the pockets of obama, sticking to ‘just the issues’ has so far gotten us nowhere!!

  182. for my own personal satisfaction, I hope the Larry Sinclair dude is legit.

I want to see MichlleObamabotulism GO DOWN!

  183. The Larry Sinclair issue will not hurt Obama with the democrats…so it’s a dead issue for me.

The issue is for Hillary Clinton to win the nomination: and that is through his issues, values, corruption, Commander in Chief, and how Obama campaigns.

    And how Hillary campaigns too.

  184. hey, is she showing live on Fox? Im showing color bars, is it over or will it be broadcasted shown?

  185. Oh, well. At least having the Globe headlines with Obama’s picture on the cover at every checkout stand in Texas and Ohio leading up to those primaries next tuesday will not hurt.

  186. Some Nader musing:

Doesn’t Obama have the support of Naderites in his campaign?

I wonder if they’ll leave Obama and go help Nader?

  187. JanH…yes, they are saying deception in questions related to the sex allegation and deception in questions related to the drug allegation. No further details. The website will be posting actual video and the questions later today. They have not posted the second analysis of the polygraph by the second expert…that will be later today.

  188. carby…it will hurt Obama more than Clinton, if it hurts at all…but at least it confuzzzez them more in their convictions IMO

  189. Dot, that will always be a problem, but the conspiracy thing in ths will not gain traction. The GLOBE story will do more damage. It creates QUESTIONS, and just LIKE WITH OBAMA, people don’t look deeper. They see the Headline “Obama God” and say “wow. OK”

I have a bumper sticker that says “question the answers”

  190. oh well, deception detected may not be ‘passed the test’ but it is also not ‘failed test’.

But we will still have Globe! 😉

  191. Thanks AmericanGal. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that at least some of what he was asked is true and somewhat damaging to the man who thinks he walks on water.

Somehow I thing the Globe and NYT are going to be compared for trash journalism and Hillary’s opponent will come out with a halo on top. I really hope that doesn’t happen.

  192. Sinclair also hasn’t put them in touch with the limo driver, even though they’ve asked him to repeatedly. We should leave this alone, guys.

  193. The Obamabots could have planted the Sinclair story to throw the scent of the Rezko trail – that’s where the real scandal(s) resides.

Besides, Sinclair isn’t the least bit attractive.

  194. Spacegirl I think she meant great name in politics referring to that guy who introduced her, named whitehouse, nothing racial there!

  195. Hey Hawk, I just updated your diary to say you are a guy!! I will be puzzling all day over why I assumed you were a woman. Hmmmmm.

  206. Oh, someone fainted, and hillary said, I’m sure it was my heated rhetoric’ haha, she said it with a cute laugh.

  207. Here’s the latest from modernvedicastrology.com:

(Updated Feb 23, 2008) As the March 4th pivotal primaries in Ohio and Texas loom ever-larger for Hillary Clinton, her campaign for the Democratic nomination is now entering the realm of the long shot. The political betting site intrade.com now lists her chances as just 17% of winning the nomination against Barack Obama’s 83%. Pundits are attempting to sketch out her few remaining paths to victory and unanimously concede that things are looking grim against the seemingly unstoppable momentum of the charismatic Obama.

While I had not foreseen the extent of her February troubles, I still believe that a reversal in fortunes is in the cards. (or is that stars?) Aside from the birth chart, the campaign launch charts of candidates can provide another source of information of the possible outcome of their endeavours. Hillary’s immediate concern is March 4th because if she loses either one, her run will be over. And yet a quick look at the respective campaign horoscopes of the two candidates shows that March 4th is very favourable to Hillary Clinton as tr.Venus will conjoin the Venus-Moon conjunction in late Capricorn. The transiting Venus in Barack Obama’s campaign chart is also putatively good news in so far as it conjoins the natal Sun. However, the complicating factor here is that the Obama campaign chart features a tight Sun-Saturn opposition, so that Venus is setting off that complex of energy. The results stirke me as being more ambivalent. Moreover, the transiting Mercury contacts the Sun-Saturn opposition on March 8th, a date which we have isolated as being potentially damaging to Obama by virtue of affliction in his natal chart.

  208. Hillary’s speeches are always solution focused with a good dollop of evidence-based problem solving ideas.

Bobo’s is full of nothing…absolutely nothing. Then again, he does make the girls sigh and the men puff up their chests. I guess that is just as important…NOT!

  209. We shouldn’t give the media any ideas or be so pessimistic ourselves, see this as a great thing happening, we all love this side to Hillary, we should enjoy it!!

  210. Sane democrat leaders also know that Hillary is correct.

There is no “let us all just get along” in politics. And YES Obama is DELUSIONAL in thinking that this is how it will work.

Obama would be Jimmy Carter redux.

  211. Again with the gender/sexist bias. Hillary is negative if she jokes about Obama’s empty rhetoric. Obama is funny when he uses his disgusting “put-downs.”

  212. Dot “Sane democrat leaders also know that Hillary is correct.”

let’s just hope there are a few left.

  213. sometimes I think – are we in the twilight zone – how can so many people be duped by this false idol…? the whole thing is just really really weird.

  214. MtDora…it’s over, just now but I am sure C-Span will carry it later. They have been pretty good about that. But to be sure, the networks will carry the god/light/miracles bit

  215. That speech was awesome. She touched on her electability versus obama and her readiness to deal with emergencies around the world (“getting a call at 3 am from somewhere in the world and being able to make a quick, smart decision”), I loved that rally.

  216. GREAT!!!!

sorry you missed it, she was fired up, more energized then I have seen her in a long time(if not for this entire campaign) she was strong, firm, tough, clear, a little ruthless,(sky will open, we’ll all unite..) loved it!!

the crowd looked like they loved it too!

  217. I think the Tina Fey video has already been pulled off YouTube

I think all of youtube is down. Weird!

But when they take a video down they send you an e-mail and I haven’t received one yet. ::knock on wood::

  218. I’m glad Hillary is TAKING IT STRAIGHT TO THE PEOPLE now.

She won’t back down. I think she’s running the ship now folks. Good for her.

  219. hawk…she really needs to hammer preparedness, not the Bush FEAR CARD, but the national security issue is still a real thing

  220. On the contrary jubjub, they DO Deserve her…it’ll serve them right

gotta take the dog out then I guess I should make calls for a while

  221. Idunn, how is the fire?

I ended up not starting the woodstove because it’s not all that cold outside. No idea why it’s freezing inside. I just turned on the electric heat. (hubby won’t like THAT, lol!)

  222. A quick question on donation. I already donated 2300 for the primary elections and a few hundred more GE. IF Hillary does not get the nomination, does it mean MY money might go to Hussein Obama? If that’s the case, can I ask the money back?

  223. No, she asked if someone could help the person, and said it was probably because “of my heated rhetoric”, and then she told them to unlatch the fence to get her out if necessary.

  224. I-view on cnn…the republican student is not worried about the economy

    Nor the democratic student

    rich kids

  225. maybe she is saving something for the “meeting in Ohio”

God I love how she called him out.

The debate Tuesday night is gonna be out of this world…but look for Messiahnbc to cush for the good ole boy.

I want her to hold up all the fliers … explain them…they will have to give her the chance to once she pulls them out.

The dem for a day…unless it can be legally tracked back to his campaign…officially endorsed by him…well, that would backfire and he’d say she is grasping and then her efforts on the mailers would look weak.

  226. Aww. sorry Idunn. She didn’t leave the stage and give the person water did she? I think she just told someone to get them water. Oh well, either way she handled it gracefully as usual 🙂

  227. ALL signs (and this includes FOX All-Star panels where their overwhelming – and really quite touching – concern that Democrats avoid a war at the convention and must hurry and wrap this us)
continue to point towards BO trying to get the nomination before the proverbial shit hits the fan.

Hill, fighting mad like she is right now, must not give up.
If she keeps grinding him down, he’ll be a squealing little gerbil by the time this process plays out.

NY Post:TOP STORY ‘O’ Time” — ” ‘O’ POWER PLAY — AIDES TELL TOP DEMS: BACK BARACK NOW”:

“Aides to Barack Obama are putting the squeeze on Democratic officials, urging them to get aboard the campaign ‘sooner rather than later,’ The Post has learned. Obama supporters have also approached members of Congress and state legislators who face re-election and argued they stand a better chance with Obama heading the ticket than with Hillary Rodham Clinton, sources said.

“One Clinton supporter said Obama’s quest goes beyond the battle for ‘superdelegates,’ party big shots who serve as delegates at the Democratic convention. His campaign has reportedly begun reaching out to lower party officials in an effort to put an end to the divisive primary battle.

“The message is that ‘we want to end this sooner rather than later’ to bring unity to the party and stand a better chance of beating likely Republican nominee John McCain in the general election, said one lawmaker who supports Clinton. … [A] city official in the key primary state of Ohio said it was clear ‘the Obama campaign is really accelerating.’ He added that there was a lot of ‘aggressive electioneering.’ ”
The Obama campaign isn’t commenting, but points out that the story lacks sourcing or evidence.

  228. corruptnewsnetwork and messiahnbcnetwork are so obviously biased. Hillary is doing all she can do right now…she is fighting all fronts as hard as she can.

I hope that Susa$$e Malvo and CandyBigA$$ Crowley gets their due…KARMA is gonna bite them bitches.

  229. Yeah, she didn’t do the “water pass-off”. 😉

Speaking of which, we should all list moments in this election we’ll never forget. Good way to kill a slow newsday.

  230. A friend of mine is asking why the campaign does not rent something like a few hundred buses on 3/4 to send her supporters in OH and TX to polls and caucuses? This would blanket the states and should cost around 1 million dollars to do, and it probably would be quite effective. We can call them buses to success :).

  231. the PowerPlay by Obama will turn a lot of people off.

I say, take it all the way to the convention Hillary.

    We’ll get your back.

  232. Idunn .. for me, YESTERDAY .. the “challenge” .. get your ass to Ohio cause I’m going to whip up on you a whole lot you snotty nose little brat…

  233. “# dot48 Says:

the PowerPlay by Obama will turn a lot of people off.”

Unfortunately a lot of Democratic officials are wimps and unfortunately the power play may just work. I do believe the GOP are more united. I still remember in the 2000 election during the recount period, all the GOPs on TV news were all talking in the exactly same way as script they were reading the same script, while some of the Democrats were saying Al Gore should concede. Shut up you wimps!

  234. And I will never forget:

finding this site; meeting heros of mine (HRC, WJC, Chelsea, Madeleine Albright, Terry McAuliffe, Joe Biden, Jay Inslee, Joe Wilson, Wes Clark, Tom Harkin, etc.); Seeing all of the excited people for Hillary at the rallies I went to; That speech from yesterday (the “shame on you”); Working for a brilliant woman; Finding out HRC loves her martinis; meeting lots of new people and making lots of contacts; and there are too many others to list…

  235. “I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views,” Mr. Obama wrote in “The Audacity of Hope

Well shit, this is the most honest thing I think he’s ever said!

  236. interesting comment.

Comment by Democratic race a mess
    February 24th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
Are any of you volunteers for either candidate I am when I called people in Wis most people were for Obama Now I’m calling Texas and Ohio and most people are siding with Hillary most calls go for her. Check Obama web site the blogs says the same thing they don’t think Obama can win either state. Hillary will take Texas and Ohio and she don’t have to win them by a landslide just win them. Obama’s website in there own words say they Mislead the People in Ohio. It seems that Michelle Obama is under fire yet again about her being patriotic. For Hillary she has done wrong too we all no what they are. But think are you electing a rock star (that is way over board) or electing a President. Who has the most experience? People from the Obama camp are crossing over to Hillary’s people isn’t agreeing with the Obama camp and his tactics and lack of experienced and for how he is playing the game. Some thought he actually stood for a change but are seeing he is no different he is saying what he can to elected (they all do). So ask yourself do you just want to be caught up in this rock star or elected a President. The only candidate that is going to win this Presidential Race is McCain. The Democratic race is a mess.
The Democratic people are stupid and that will cost them the election because they cant figure witch candidate has the most experience. FL and MI state will go RED because the people were disfranchised of their vote and for Obama those state probably wouldn’t vote for him because he don’t want them to count. Nader has said he was running in the Presidential race Remember what happen Gore he lost. ******THINK******

  237. dot 48…don’t call them bitches..we are the bitches..we stand up for our beliefs…they are just hos..they go with the flow

  238. Yes, the Democratic people are stupid and this will cost us the elections. Ugh, sometime I really think I am in the wrong party.

  239. these people are strikingly similar to the Heaven’s Gaters

Hawk, if Obama becomes president and he mandates that we all buy black Nikes…I’m effing outta here!

  240. Remember that SNL commercial where it showed a bunch of people wearing black nikes dead in their beds. The at the end the words come on the screen that says, “KEDS, the choice of sane people” ?

    Omg…too funny!

  241. Can I say “ho” without being banned LOL.

Here is my list of bitches I will never forget from this campaign..this is just tv .. will add the bitch endorsers maybe in the future.

    Candy FatA$$ Crowley … CorruptNewsNetwork
    SusASS Malvouex …CorruptNewsNetwork
    Donna Godzilla ..CorruptNewsNetwork
    NorahrahrahObamabot Oduncecapdonall…MessiahNewsChannel
    MikaPlaymate Bricksenica … MessiahNewsChannel

    I loathe these bitches.

  242. the media keeps ignoring that in national polls – half of America is still routing for Hillary – HALF OF AMERICA IS STILL SANE.

  243. Driving and Talk Radio,
So I listened to Jamie Roberts who’s question of the day was how many think BO has been given a free pass by the media. Most of the callers agreed with that. She later cited a stat from some recent study (don’t remeber the name) that said BO’s media coverage so far had been 83% POSITIVE.
OTOH, another show had callers from Texas who said they were repubs voting for BO and one guy said there were 40 people lined up at his polling place and he knew most of theme were repub and they were all voting BO. SH!T!!!!!!!! One other TP, a caller from Brooklyn said BO should contest the NYC vote because some precincts had no votes for him.

  244. I have one question that I would like all of the media lemmings to answer.

If the situation was reversed and Obama was giving speeches of substance and Hillary was giving no-name speeches about nothing at all, what would their critiques be?

  245. Talking of astrology:
Jonathon Cainer (cainer.com) one of the UK’s top astrologists, predicted last year before Hillary declared her candidacy that if she did so she would win; despite events he is sticking with that prediction. He has an interesting comment again today.
What makes it more interesting is that when Comet Holmes arrived last November he said it didn’t bode well for Bhutto or Clinton! Sadly for B. Bhutto, and the primary results for our girl in February, no one can argue with that.
Idunn: I’m thoroughly enjoying your astrological knowledge, it’s fascinating.

  246. Well if Obama wants to play that game pressuring the DNC officials to vote for him, Bill should pull out his little black book and remind them all about the skeletons they have in thir own closets. Screw fairness this is all out war!!

  247. Most people at the DNC owe their jobs to Bill and Hillary Clinton, including Donna Brazille, who would have never managed Al Gore’s campaign in 2000, because w/o WJC, Al Gore wouldn’t have been VP. These people need to be reminded of how they got to where they are.

  248. “# hawk Says:

Very true, but so far I don’t see much loyalty in these people. Very disheartening.

  250. Fact Check: Obama Continues To Mislead on Hillary and NAFTA
“Senator Obama’s insistence on repeating attacks that have been demonstrated to be false by independent entities proves once and for all that his speeches about the new politics are just words. That’s not change you can believe in.”

    —Clinton spokesman Phil Singer

Today, Sen. Obama said the following:

And yesterday, Senator Clinton also said I’m wrong to point out that she once supported NAFTA. But the fact is, she was saying great things about NAFTA until she started running for President.

This is false. Hillary criticized Sen. Obama for sending out a mailer that claimed she said NAFTA was a “boon to the economy” when she never did. Today, the University of Pennsylvania’s FactCheck.org concluded “We do judge that the Obama campaign is wrong to quote Clinton as using words she never uttered, and it has produced little evidence that she ever had strong praise of any sort for NAFTA’s economic benefits.”

Also, Hillary has been critical of NAFTA long before she started running for President. For example, here’s Hillary in March 2000:

What happened to NAFTA I think was we inherited an agreement that we didn’t get everything we should have got out of it in my opinion. I think the NAFTA agreement was flawed. The problem is we have to go back and figure out how we are going to fix that. [Working Families Party, 3/26/00]

Sen. Obama touts his consistent opposition to NAFTA. But speaking in Illinois in 2004 Obama said the United States “benefited enormously” from exports under NAFTA and talked about the need to continue to pursue trade agreement like NAFTA that support “a system of free trade in this nation that allows us to move our products overseas.”

  251. I don’t suppose there’s time to start an “Impeach Brazile” movement. But she has to get re-elected sometime, doesn’t she? (And Dean?) Is anyone up there in the right position already running against them?

  252. What do the charts say for August 27, 2008?

I don’t know, haven’t had a chance to work out the math for those transits and progressions yet.

  253. Basil and everyone – if you hear of anything about where Republicans for Obama flyers are being handed out – if you hear of any churches, community centers that Republicans are doing this – let me know. I am in Texas starting Tuesday – I am happy to go and pick up evidence.

    This is deplorable what’s happening…

  254. jubjub:

Legally the additional GE money should be sent back to you. I asked the same question because I do not want a penny of my money to help BO… nothing! NADA! ZILCH! And DNC does not get money nor does DCCC or DSCC.

I got this in writing by email from Hill’s Finance person in CA.

I may give some to McCain!

  255. I put the comments to the youtube video to moderated because some asswad posted some death threat (NICE). And one of the comments I just got was calling for a boycott of NBC because of bias towards Hillary.

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  256. What’s with all the damned death threats going around? You, Smiley , Sinclair….geez. Maybe we WILL have an exposive situation when Bambi doesn’t win the nom. 🙄

  257. They seriously need to do screening and metal detectors before they let anyone into these rallys. When we went to see Bill in Abingdon, we just walked right through the doors, no questions asked. Didn’t see any secret service either. 😯

  258. @Tiny Dancer

I just about fell off the couch-bias towards Hillary. What a crock of s***. If Obama supporters are posting death threats about an SNL skit, threatening people like Tavis Smiley, and intimidating DNC members and SDs, something is very, very wrong with the Obama camp. He is condoning this behavior, otherwise, he would halt it. If Hillary loses the nomination, I am voting for McCain.

  259. An Obama Whitehouse would be one full of intimidation and bullying. That is why Hillary has to get through to the delegates and superdelegates that if they think there being pressured now by O’s thugs, just wait until later.

  260. SpacegirlArt, yes cut and paste the whole comment. I fell excited about the comment is that most people in TX and OH side with hillary.

  261. I can’t wait until we win the nom, I wanna see the looks on the bots’ faces. Can’ wait.

I’m just glad I live in the middle of nowhere. Like I said, unless bear are gonna rise up in anger, I’m pretty safe where I am.

  262. When you really think about it, it is the Obama camp that is divisive and non-unifying. Look at the death threats and coercion going on.

  263. Unless bears get mad and rise up, that would be the day, unless the obamabots have been dumping leftover kool-aid into your area waterways…..

  264. TD…if you for real had a death threat on YouTube for a pro hillary video clip, you need to notify your local FBI office. SERIOUSLY, that is a federal offense and a great news story for our side!

  265. SpacegirlArt Says:

“i’m not just saying NAFTA is bad because I am running for office”

Funny, he was in favor of NAFTA when running for the sente, he said he did not want to ammend it just enforce it.

  266. Idunn….do you know where Erwin, Tenn is?

Sure, it’s where they sentenced an elephant to death by hanging in the 1930’s. 😉

I’m not far from Erwin, why?

  267. SpaceGirl,

CNN’s been doin’ it all week. Disgraceful. Saying if Hill camp disputes BO’s (false) contentions, they have to respond. Unreal.

On top of it all, those lazy pricks are running the same campaign recap package from 3pm at 10pm! They’ve missed quite a few of Hill’s speeches doin’ that.

  268. OK, what the he11. It is a slow newsday so for everyone’s amusement:

The man we know as Mabus may be some obscure future terrorist who, if he is not identified and restrained in time, will trigger World War III and the extinction of civilization as we have known it.

  269. @dedfg

You are so right. Sounds like Chicago politics, if you ask me. He is the divisive and non-unifying candidate. Death threats, lies, intimidiation, bullying, voter fraud are very scary tactics. I do not want to see this guy in the White House.

    @SpacegirlArt

CNN can go to HELL. I have not watched the news for the past 2 weeks. It is too biased and negative towards Hillary. I don’t know, why Obama spends so much for advertising; he has free air time on the networks.

  270. It was some guy threatening to go after Hillary, just being stupid, but I deleted it and decided to moderate the posts. I think you can see the responses still.

  271. Didn’t know that about Erwin, IDunn…i have had friends there for years, 2 women, outsde of erwin on Tumbling Creek….up in the hills. They have 66 acres that back up to the Blue Ridge Natl forest. GREAT house, lots of goats. One is a Lawyer the other a carpenter

  272. TD “It was some guy threatening to go after Hillary, just being stupid,”

it is STILL ILLEGAL. Call the Secret Service, for real. Look at all the YouTubes and FaceBook and MySpace stuff that ends up in school shootings

    it is your obligation

    http://republicansforobama.org/?q=node/3 59

Attention All Texas Republicans and Independents!!

On March 4th, Texas Republicans and Independents will have an opportunity to end Hillary Clinton’s (and Bill’s) presidential ambitions once and for all!

Since Texas has on open primary, Republicans and Independents should sign in at their polling place and request a Democratic ballot. They should then vote for Barack Obama. Even James Carville admits that if Hillary loses Texas, “she’s done!” Republicans can help make this a reality!!! Just think, no more Clintons in the White House!

Voting Democratic this one time will have NO effect on your ability to vote in the next Republican primary or obviously on your vote in November. Since John McCain has the Republican nomination locked up, voting for McCain or Huckabee at this point will have no effect on the outcome on the Republican side.

After you vote during early voting or on March 4th, you ARE NOT done! Report back to your regular polling place at 7PM on March 4th to sign the Barack Obama list for caucus delegates. In a little known Texas voting quirk, 67 delegates to the Democratic convention will be seated because of these caucuses. This is a full one-third of the total number of Texas delegates. For Hillary to lose, she has to lose the primary votes AND the caucus votes.

I urge you to vote against Hillary Clinton by voting for Barack Obama. Please forward this e-mail to all your Texas Republican and Independent friends so that we can help ensure the Clinton’s defeat on March 4th!!!

  274. mp:
Thanks for the info. I wanted to make sure Hussein Obama does not get one penny from me if the thug wins. In that case, I will donate to McCain.

  275. Erwin is in Unicoi County. Just beautiful. They have a great apple festival that we go to in the fall.

Ask your friends about the elephant story some time. It’s a sad story, but also so damned weird it’s funny. In fact, there are even pictures of the elephant hanging. They had to hang it off a crane. 😯

thanks. But I also have a certain aversion to go to any of those sites. I have not watched TV since the early signs of lack of fair play.

  292. I hear Obama is feeling sorry for himself. He told the media that he was the “upstart” and that if the situations were reversed, he would have been asked to step down after 11 losses.

Personally I think he was being to kind. I see him as being more of a center ring at the circus than being an upstart.

  295. @JanH

He is a jerk. That statement shows, why Hillary is ready to be Commander-In-Chief. She is tough, tenacious, brilliant, and doesn’t give up, when the going gets tough. He is acting entitled, already. Like, she should step aside, because she has had a string of losses, but is not that far behind him in delegates? Intimidation techniques, if you ask me.

WTF is your problem? And if you’re so busy working for Hillary, why in the f-ck are you hanging around here stirring up crap?

  322. Thanks B Merryfield. I got it up. Everyone, if you can, Please recommend. Don’t you all think this is hilarious? I read somewhere once that laughing is the best way to take an opponent down to size. I think she does it here. Bigtime. The Obamabots are sputtering and whining and crying.. Yahooooo.

“The crucial issue here is John McCain’s integrity. John McCain poses as a reformer but he seems to think reforms apply to everyone else but him… His latest attempt to ignore the law is just more of his do as I say, not as I do hypocrisy and it calls his credibility into question. McCain financially benefited by accepting this agreement; he got free ballot access, saving him millions of dollars, and he secured a $4 million loan to keep his campaign afloat by using public financing as collateral. He should be held to the law.”
What about the DEMOCRAT For A Day Scam and DNC Voter fraud????

    Love her in Yellow too.

I have cried the last few days too…but it is what it is. She is not giving up and we shouldn’t either. There are still states to go and votes and delegates to get.

  326. About the Democrat for a Day thing from Texas.

I had an email from the Republicans for Obama leadership team telling me that the email posted in the forum was posted by a one-time visitor and not by anyone from the organization.

I revised that section on Deck of Cards and added an explanation.

RFO has no idea where else this person may have posted this.

What I don’t understand is why RFO is leaving the post up on the forum. I was told it was because the commenter had not violated any rules. To me, that just means that it is not offensive enough to be taken down.

  327. That video clip was great! People were laughing, not acting offended.

So, why is Dean going after McCain? Isn’t it a bit early????

  328. Someone posted the comment I made here about removing comments from youtube. ::waves::. I’ve approved most of the comments, even the Obama ones. It was the really vile ones I’ve taken down/not approved.

  329. I mean, posted the comment I made here about removing the vile YouTube comments in the comments at YouTube.

  330. I got an email from Dean yesterday want friggin $ to go after McCain with .. I replied and told him to worry about the Delegates in Florida and Michigan first and all those voters who are not counting for anything.

I will never donate to them again … period. They have shit on Hillary and I’ll never forget them and I will NEVER forget the backstabbing politicians who used Bill and Hillary Clinton to get what they wanted and needed and now don’t have the friggin balls or class to say thank you.

  331. dot48, I said the same thing, NO MONEY FROM ME until you seat the delegates from Florida and Michigan

  332. Hey hawk, you should go over to mydd and see all the nice things people are saying about your article. They are loving it.

Do you believe that explanation from the RFO?

    Everyone,
Is there another money bomb tomorrow?

  335. why is skmf angry…

i think its a bit inappropriate for anyone to bash anyone in here

could it be like the hidden aggitators that stir up the crowds

  336. yes…Hillary supporters came through. THANK YOU everybody here and across America.

Get them ads rollin now campaign.

I feel something good going to happen for the campaign this week…I just feel it. I think Hillary is more energized and I think she knows something too. Please God, Please.

  337. Those flicker photos show what is NEVER shown on tv, that SHE is drawing HUGE crowds. This is a good sign. Either Hillary is a great actress or she sees stuff in her internal numbers that is giving her a lot of strength. This does not look like someone who is throwing in the towel ANYTIME soon.

We just gotta keep the faith.

Email the link to those photos to EVERYBODY in your email contact list. The media want people to believe that she is down on the mat…these photos of her recent rallys show a woman who is drawing huge support and who is going to surprise everyone on March 4.

I feel it. I feel it. I feel it. I feel better today than I have felt in a whole week.

Here are BO’s quotes. What a complete fraud he is.

BO’s comments 7/27/04 in response to Russert’s questions about the Iraq war on Meet the Press.
“I’m not privy to the senate intelligence reports. What would I have done? I don’t know.”
”There’s not much of a difference between my position on Iraq and Bush’s position at this point.”
“I think there is some room for disagreement in that initial decision (to vote for authorization of the war.”

  340. Everybody…tomorrow starts a new week. I promise to make devote 3 hours every day this week to phone banking. I don’t want to lose. I refuse to give up. I want this woman to be the nominee because I believe in her and her ability to get the job done.

Our calls this week can help make a difference. We got her $ this weekend..this week lets get the phones back on and get her some more votes.

We can continue to make a difference.

I want to see the whole friggin networks have to eat their words. SHE WILL BE 44!

  341. Love this comment from the Akron beacon endorsement.

“Most impressive is her keen intelligence. No candidate in this race, Republican or Democrat, can match her command of issues, foreign and domestic. Consider health care and education, two of the country’s highest priorities. Clinton speaks to each with depth and clarity, articulating, say, the value of universal health coverage or ways to repair the troubled student loan program.”

I hope, they can do something with this. They may already know about it, but it may help them to know, other people recognize what is going on.

  344. What matters now is winning Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island. Tuesday is a debate and we are sure Hillary will do fine. We like this new fighting spirit we are witnessing (we updated the front page with the Rhode Island video).

Tonight is the Academy Awards and there probably will be some political jokes in the monologue for us to enjoy/hate.

Let’s not worry about drama or polls or anything that distracts. Focus on winning Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island. One step at a time. No need to borrow trouble by thinking of scenarios. Let’s just win. The rest takes care of itself. Donations help, volunteering helps and doing that work should keep everyone busy.

Thanks to all who have donated this weekend. Those that have volunteered to help with the Monday Rezko Moneybomb, please contact your lists and sites tomorrow as early as possible.

    There is lots to do.

  345. Hello all,

That video of Hillary mocking BO is hilarious! I love Hillary’s sense of humor! 😛
I’m so happy to see that the we met the 2.2 million dollar goal! WOHHOOO! Now get that ad on the air!

  346. I’m wondering if Hillary saying that today well get people up in a fuss, for trying to burst their bubble, their dream about a new future. I mean, she’s absolutely right and there needs to be a realistic approach in the room, but can somebody put this context for me? Do you think she knows she’s going to do well and people are resonating with it? I’m just nervous about this guns blazing approach, but she excels at it…

  347. BTW, there is a big article on Michelle Obama at the Dailymail which is not very flattering. Thanks to the emailer who sent it to us.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/femail/article.html?in_article_id=517824&in_page_id=1879

Last week it seemed the mask had slipped when, speaking unscripted for once, a sharper, less emollient Michelle emerged. ‘For the first time in my adult life I feel really proud of my country,’ she said, an apparent lack of patriotism immediately seized on by her Republican opponents.

Yet even they have failed to scrutinise her seemingly remarkable story, or question how her homely rhetoric, full of jokes about Barack’s domestic failings, squares with the reality.

When The Mail on Sunday went back to the gritty district of Chicago where Michelle LaVaughn Robinson was raised, we found a rather different picture from the one so single-mindedly promoted by Camp Obama.

Instead of the one-room tenement that now appears in most accounts of her upbringing, we found a well-kept neighbourhood of red-brick Arts and Craft-style houses which have long been home to respectable black families.

Indeed, according to family friends, Michelle’s father was a volunteer organiser for the city’s Democratic Party, a by-word for machine politics in America, and his loyalty was rewarded with a well-paid engineering job at Chicago’s water plant. Even before overtime, he earned $42,686 – 25 per cent more than High School teachers at the time.

    ———–
An acquaintance of Obama’s family compares her with another political wife, another lawyer as it happens, with a keen interest in making money.

“Michelle is very much like Cherie Blair. She is a middle-class girl who has discovered that money is nice and doesn’t see that as a contradiction with having radical beliefs,” he said.

Chicago’s veteran political consultant and pundit Joe Novak agrees, saying: “She [Michelle] is now motivated more by personal gain than by social consciousness.

“She saw her opportunities, and she took them.”

The rewards have been significant. Despite the image she projects on the Newsweek cover, Michelle owns an impressive collection of diamond jewellery, designer outfits and £400-a-pair Jimmy Choo shoes.

When she is wooing working-class voters, however, she favours austere black skirts and white blouses. “Our lives are so close to normal, if there is such a thing when you’re running for president,” she declared during a campaign stop in Delaware, shortly before her husband’s latest victories were announced.

“When I’m off the road, I’m going to Target [a U.S. chain store] to get the toilet paper.”

She did not bother to mention, however, that the paper, like the rest of the family shopping, is taken to an £825,000 three-storey red-brick Georgian revival mansion, set amid beautifully manicured lawns in one of Chicago’s most affluent districts.

Even the house became a source of controversy when it emerged that the wife of a Chicago slum landlord, Tony Rezko, helped them buy land to enlarge its grounds.

Renowned for leaving tenants of one of his squalid buildings without heat in the city’s brutal winter, Rezko now is facing federal corruption charges.

More contentious still was Michelle’s appointment as the £150,000-a-year vice-president of external affairs at the University of Chicago hospital in 2005.

It came only two months after Barack was sworn in as a U.S. senator, and was attacked by critics as a blatant attempt, critics claim, by the hospital’s hierarchy to curry favour with her husband, in an era when some politicians want to rein in the vast profits of America’s medical system.

They questioned why the wife of a committed Democrat would work for a hospital that has been accused of ruthless greed.

Michelle’s image was further tarnished in May 2006, when it was revealed that the centre – despite earning some £50million a year – had refused to treat a man who could not afford to pay his bill. He died.

All of which has led some political veterans to accuse Michelle of the very lack of compassion and moral scruples that her husband has lambasted in his Republican rivals for the White House.

    Lots more.

  348. Hey Admin

Did you get the post about republicans for Obama and encouraging them to vote on March 4th for Obama?

What can we do? I tried emailing the contact you posted earlier but not sure if the person is the right one. Any suggestions?

We need more powerful endorsers like Edwards or Richardson

  349. * For those wondering about the Texas & Ohio operations. A lot of confidence coming from Ace (take note of his comments about the Texas caucuses). BTW, does anyone know where Whouley’s working now?

    blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2008/02/19/clinton-aides-see-wins-in-texas-and-ohio/

Clinton Aides See Wins in Texas and Ohio

Susan Davis reports on the presidential race.

Despite two recent polls indicating Sen. Barack Obama is encroaching on Sen. Hillary Clinton’s lead in the March 4 Texas primary, senior aides to her presidential campaign expressed confidence today that she has the support and ground operations to pull out necessary victories in both Texas and Ohio.

Ace Smith, Clinton’s Texas state director, said the response the campaign is getting on the ground is “absolutely amazing” and recent stops have drawn thousands of supporters. “We’re comfortable we’re going to have a ground operation we haven’t seen in the state in a long time,” he said. “We’re going to have a campaign down here where we cede absolutely nothing.”

A CNN poll out Monday gave Clinton a narrow 50%-48% lead against Obama and a separate USASurvey poll gave Clinton a slighter larger 50%-45% lead. Smith played down the polls. “I don’t think there’s any big movement,” he said. “There’s so many polls showing so many different things.”

Smith said Clinton is running a coordinated campaign for early votes as early voting started today and will continue until Feb. 29.

While Texas has a quirky electoral system –- it has both a primary and a caucus system to select their delegates — Smith said Obama’s past edge in winning caucus contests won’t translate in the Lone Star State. “We’ll be absolutely dominant” in those efforts, he said.

Since Clinton announced earlier this month that she had made a $5 million loan to her campaign effort, the campaign said donations have been pouring in at a rate of about $1 million a day. “We have raised $15 million on line in the first 15 days of the month,” Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson said.

    [SNIP]

Robby Mook, Clinton’s Ohio state director, agreed. “I don’t think Ohio voters are concerned about the horse race,” he said. “We have two weeks, two debates, there’s a lot of time for voters here to really get to know Sen. Clinton.”

  350. Admin,

I sent the RFO info yesterday, along with a couple of other links to the Florida and Nevada Get Out The Repugs for BO vote.

    Hope you got that, too.

  351. The democrat for a day thing in Texas is just more of the same denial while proceeding with active recruitment. The Obama campaign is truly afraid of getting tagged with this and they are careful. I’d give a lot to just get one person to spill the beans. But I think there is enough evidence out there now. And people are talking about it and democrats are getting pissed. They will fight!

LJ, she has nothing to lose. If she is nice, she is criticized for not being tough enough. If she is tough, she is criticized for being negative. It is a lose-lose situation. Today, was not an angry speech, but a satire on Obama’s speeches. People laughed. It was mocking him, but I loved it. There has been a split in her campaign (according to some posters). Some want her to go negative, others want her to play nice. Well, she played nice Tuesday, became angry yesterday, and today it was satire. She has covered all bases. LOL!

  353. yes..NINE days …

please everybody, try to call. We helped her $ goal for now. Lets set some kind of goal for phone banking again. We can do it BigPink. We can’t let give up. She’s not giving up and we owe it to her to work our asses of.

Maybe Adm could make tomomorow a RecordCallDay as well as MoneyBombDay.

Do Not Let Them Steal This From Us.

  354. Admin, thanks for the post from the Daily Mail. No chance that will get carried in American Press, eh?

Any thought that Mr. O’Reiley should see it.

(oh god, now I have to go wash my hands…I can’t believe I have thought of resorting to that, but they say, fight fire with fire)

and to make myself feel better, here is part of a comment from an O supporter on a blog I saw yesterday. I bit my tongue and did not reply. It just feeds them.

“I come from the school of politics that says you play to win and I am sick of Democrats being more concerned with being right than with winning. Let me clue you in folks, it doesn’t matter how right you are if you lose; nobody listens to you and nobody cares. We have to win first and then we can work on affecting the changes we need. In the meantime I tell candidates to play by the rules they are given NOT the rules as they wish them to be.

  355. I like the Hillary I saw over the last few days. This is a candidate who people can connect with. This is what she needs to stay on for the rest of the time…

I connected with her incredibility of how someone can just command the skyes to open and the problems will be gone. Voters will connect with this.

This is the Hillary who will connect with the nosebleed seats.

I’d rather she continue in this form. This is the iron woman I know she is. Not a bitch but willing to fight for what she believes in

  356. birdgal, i read some blogs on Huff that were all offended! “She is now attacking the supporters” “That’s what BUSH does!”

I have heard ref to her over and over as a Bush-like person. WHERE ON EARTH are these folks getting this?

  357. If you are one of Kerry’s constiuents, I recommend cspan’s Road to the White House tonite…on now, and will be repeated later tonight.

I think he is “shaving the truth” but don’t know him as well as some of you do.

Something is just wrong with what he is yammering about.

Bill Clinton on later, in about 10 minutes, I think.

  358. @dot48,

Couldn’t have said it better. Hillary has nothing to lose now and everything to gain. She’s tried appealing to her opponent’s sense of right and wrong. It didn’t work. He has no conscience so anything goes with him. Hillary needs to nail her message home now!

Cannons to the left of us! Cannons to the right! LOL… GO HILLARY!!!

  359. kerry seems more passionate for his candy ass little punk than he ever did for his own candidacy. I regret ever voting for him.

Movements ASS…the only movement I’d like to give him is a swift kick in his ass.

We should start our own movement ..

The Pink Kick Kennedy and Kerry Out Movement.

  360. @SpaceGirlArt:

I have heard ref to her over and over as a Bush-like person. WHERE ON EARTH are these folks getting this?

Like, I said, she can’t win. So, what if his supporters are offended? She is not Bush-like, at all. She KNOWS, what she is doing. Obama DOES NOT KNOW. I think, Obama supporters are brain-washed.

  361. Someone said Bill Clinton was on C-Span and I turned to watch it but instead saw Kerry. That MoFo is the most boring individual I have ever heard.

  362. grrr..don’t ever send me to cspan when them hypocrit, back stabbing turds are on there. I want to hit something and I can’t afford a new tv right now.

Dale Jr. out of California race..wrecked by his own teamate ..dayum…now they are waiting on the track to dry out ..why couldn’t they figure that out before they got my man wrecked. Shoot

  363. seriously folks..did anyone notice the fight for comprhensive immigration reform before millions of latino’s took to the streets by the millions???

are any of us willing to get out of our cozy chairs and away from our keyboards to hold a nationwide protest of the media coverage on Hillary??

I’ll help in California…anyone else game?

I totally agree. She was not a bitch, but a strong woman, and one with a fighting spirit. She is my HERO!

  365. The last thing on Hillary’s mind right now is the ObamaWingNuts. She is going after the undecideds and shoring up her own base.

The WingNuts are ready to walk off the ledge and I say…LET THEM. All they need is their cots and tennis shoes.

  366. Kerry is full of s***. Hillary is saying, just about the same thing. I don’t think Obama has ever had an orginal thought in his head.

BTW, Clinton will be on after Kerry.

  367. Debbie, I’m with you. I’ll help in cal. Only thing is it has to be big. Anything small andthemedia will say her campaign is faltering blah, blah, blah

Hey All – this is good news because millions saw SNL last night: hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3ic1abd1883d2156379cbacdba318a8fe1

‘SNL’ has highest rating in two years
    By James Hibberd

    Feb 25, 2008
The post-strike return of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” scored the show’s highest overnight rating in two years.

Hosted by former “SNL” cast member/head writer Tina Fey and featuring Carrie Underwood as the musical guest, the show delivered a 6.1 rating/15 share in metered-market households — the highest average since a Feb. 4, 2006 episode hosted by Steve Martin. That’s also up 36% from the show’s pre-strike average this season.

  369. Hillary is my hero as well.

Maybe she is reading here and she saw where we as a unit told her to “Give em Hill, Hillary”.

  370. Hillary needs to have a rally like the one she had in El Paso right before March 4 in Austin Texas said an insider from Austin, Texas, any way we can put word in for Hillary? She needs these type of rallies in both Texas and Ohio where there are powerful politicans and hollywood stars

  371. Debbie, Post your earlier post on one of the blogs on the HillaryClinton.com website. It is a great post.

What do you have in mind for the media bias? I am also in CA (northern).

Does anyone here have inside contact with Hillary’s campaign including the admn?

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Why do you want to know?

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Many here have ideas as to how you can pass on info or tips, but the direction would depend on what your goals are.

  373. Kerry, blah, blah. now, he is talking about electronic medical records. Hillary has been talking about this, forever.

  374. NO & SO CAL campaign offices could help coordinate this via outreach if ok by HQ They have access to all the supporters.

  375. emjay, read what I posted above about rallies in Austin Texas and Ohio thats what I want to see if Hillary can do

  376. obama stole all of Hillary’s ideas. Does anyone besides me catch that the debates always ask HER the questions first .. that gives HIM the chance to copy her answer. He’s never had a good idea in his life, he thinks we owe him something.

  377. God, I take it back .. he is as BORING as ever. I don’t blame her for falling asleep. What is she raising her hand for?

  378. If you want to help Hillary, just keep sending complaints to MSNBC and CNN and assure them that there is amovement to boycott these networks and their advertisers.they have taken over our election process and are battling to be the network that will pick the next president.Get to work stop complaining and fight for our Democrasy and for the most qualified candidate this country has ever elected. Hillary Rodham Clinton.Good government does not come without a price and extra efforts. She has more guts and energy thanthe majority of men could ever muster. Hillary clean Obama’s clock on tues.watch yhis marvelous and dedicated woman that will be our next President. If you dan’t fight for her, this country will lose a great chance to be the world leader again.Step up and ask what you can do for your country.Get off your dead butts and FIGHT-FIGHT-FIGHT.REZKO is coming but don’t bet on a fair trial from our shameful Jistice Dept.

  379. @Dot48

Yes, I have noticed the original ideas come from her. One day, I briefly listened to Obama’s speech to a group of workers in Ohio, and it sounded verbatim like, one of the speeches I heard Clinton give a week or two before.

  380. I am so sorry, that I ever voted for Kerry. He is a backstabber. Movement my a**. It is pure propaganda, appealing to people’s emotions, not substance.

  381. ooh. It’s not good to have Kerryand Obama share a stage. It’s never good when the lackey knows more information than the candidate.

  382. I take it Bill won’t be on till around 8ish my time. Am not going to continue running up there and having to see that long donkey faced shill.

  383. ABM90 – not sure if the boycott will work unless we get thousands upon thousands of signatures –

i’m sure there’s a ratings reason why big media gives Obama more time – they think they’re hitting a new 18-35 male demographic, so after this primary – petition, petition, petition.

  384. Geezzz Caroline and Dot 48

sorry if you don’t live in MA…thought you might want to have something with which to beat his brains out..which is what I have heard on these pages.

    Forget I brought it up.

    Shoot!

    Screw trying again.

    Fran…where are you?

  385. well SOMEBODY has to be paid to spill the stolen ideas of Hillary. Bambi can hardly string two sentences together.

  386. Debbie,

    I have the same problem.

Does anyone know HOW to contact her site with tips and info other than that stupid form the contact us link at the BOTTOM of the page links you to??

Isn’t there any staff email contact or tips link like here on Big Pink? And if not, why not??????

  387. Does anyone remember the story of the Emperor who had no clothes? Well, Dean, Kerry, Brazille, Kennedy, and the rest of the wannabe stars are simply riding on his invisible coat-tails for their last chance of fame.

He will throw them away as soon as their “best before date” is used up.

  388. I found this:

GOP people say and will say everyday, everywhere: B. Hussein Obama (Not Barack Obama) we love you but not as President. Your change is empty, your experience is flat, your patriotism is ……….Whoops,we voted for you in primaries because we pressed wrong buttons.

The above comments are not my fabrication. They are from my coworkers, GOPers. They voted for Obama in WI primary. I asked them whether they’ll vote for him in GE. They said “Never”. The answer is so straight and shocked me. By the way, lol to you.

  389. Emjay I am not exactly sure why you are addressing me. Did you post something here about Bill C on C-Span? If you did, I didn’t see it here. I was referring to seeing it on Taylor Marsh’s blog. You do really need to chill. Not everything needs to be addressed agressively.

  390. Heres a parable that I do not know the author of but I love it:

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.

“A fight is going on inside me” he said to the boy.

“it is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil- he is anger, envy sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is good- he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

The same fight is going on inside you- and inside every other person too”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed”

  391. Spacegirl

last note here, I swear…but you picked up on something we talked about here early last December.

In one of the news stories abt BO, he replied to a question about his tactics (getting his prospective opponents off the ballot via those “legal” challenges…I can’t quote exactly, but it went something like

you do what you have to, to win, in order to be in a position to help people.

  392. Bill will be on cspan at 6:30 p.m. PST, and 9:30 p.m. EST.

The Hillary site is slow. Sometimes, when I go back, after awhile, I see my comment. I think, the Obamabots are tying up the system. It looks like the comments get screened, before posting.

  393. I really really really like the Hillary we see in the Rhode Island video. Her range of emotion and material is terrific. Too many people (idiots in my opinion) are too caught up in their feelings to realize that what they need from our next president is a problemsolver. To mock him in this way calls attention to his little sky pilot con game thorugh the powerful vehicle of humor. If I am right then this will accelerate the vetting process that needs to occur.

  394. If you haven’t lately, I’d appreciate all you Hillfans dropping a RezkoWatch hint in the comments section tonight or tomorrow morning. Very controversial article link up … thanks.

  395. Coupla Notes:

Hillary giving major foreign policy speech on strengthening America…Monday…George Washington University in D.C….

Speaking to reporters on board her campaign plane, Mrs. Clinton expressed surprise at the news that Mr. Nader planned to run.
“I don’t know what to say,” she said, when a reporter asked for comment. “Wow, that’s really unfortunate. I remember when he did this before. It’s not good for anybody, especially our country.”
She added, “I didn’t know that he had said that this morning. Obviously it’s not helpful to whoever our Democratic nominee is. But it’s a free country and I don’t know what party he’ll run on. What did he run on last time, does anybody remember?

The Green Party, a reporter replied.

“Well, you know his being on the Green Party prevented Al Gore from being the greenest president we’ve ever had,” Mrs. Clinton said. “And I think that’s really unfortunate.”

  396. I don’t trust this guy as far as I can throw him, but that said, he’s got a few valid points:

Nadar: “And the…all the candidates, McCain, Obama and Clinton, are against single-payer health insurance. Full Medicare for all. I’m for it. As well as millions of Americans and 59% of physicians in a forthcoming poll this April. People don’t like Pentagon waste, the bloated military budget, all of the reports in the press and the GAO reports. A wasteful defense is a weak defense. It takes away taxpayer money that can go to the necessities of the American people. That’s off the table, to Obama and Clinton and McCain. The issue of labor law reform: repealing the notorious Taft-Hartley act, that keeps workers who are now more defenseless than ever against corporate globalization from organizing to defend their interests. Cracking down on corporate crime. The media—the mainstream media—repeatedly indicated how trillions of dollars have been drained and fleeced and looted from millions of workers and investors who don’t have many rights these days. And pensioners. You know, when you see the paralysis of the government, when you see Washington D.C. be corporate-occupied territory—every department agency controlled by overwhelming presence of corporate lobbyists, corporate executives in high government positions—turning the government against its own people, one feels an obligation, Tim, to try to open the doorways, to try to get better ballot access, to respect dissent in America in terms of third parties and independent candidates. To recognize historically the great issues have come in our history—against slavery, women’s rights to vote, and worker and farmer progressives, through little parties that never ran…won any national election. Dissent is the mother of assent. And in that context, I have decided to run for President.

  397. wow, I’m surprised she didn’t know what party Nader ran on before LOL. Are you sure this is a real article?

Wonder why she is giving this at at George Washington University tomorrow .. any big Senate votes tomorrow?

  398. just got back from trolling re:Nader run, hillarys “I see the LIght” performance…let me catch up 😉

  399. I think I could in good conscience vote for Nadar if Hillary is not the nominee. BUT, I will not have to make that choice.

  400. Hillary is on a roll ..fight those obatrons, obotulisms she is still standing..why you think that is no one is paying attention to those bloggers anymore, they have caught on THE People in america and the web.there losing thr fight against the one who fights real ptroblems for us and OUR COUNTRY.SHe will win..keep the faith,

  401. As a nurse, I think, a single payer system would be great. But, it would inflate government spending and create a greater bureaucracy. In addition, it would never get through the Congress, at this point in time. It is DOA, which is why Clinton is advocating her type of health care plan.

Paula..write him call him out on it,you guys would be better reporters than these pundits ever will be…they get by with this shit reporting false info…
Nader has run for President 5 times (in 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008).[1] In 1992 he ran as a write-in in both the New Hampshire Republican and Democratic primaries, and other primaries. In 1996 and 2000, he was the nominee of the Green Party; in 2004, he ran as an independent, but was also endorsed by the Reform Party.
he never wins…just to get his name in the news i guess

  412. Ok, found this on Drudge. It’s from Newsday, and I’m assuming this was the expose we’d heard about (and thought was impending via the NYT)

“But there is a little-known episode Clinton doesn’t mention in her standard campaign speech in which those two principles collided. In 1975, a 27-year-old Hillary Rodham, acting as a court-appointed attorney, attacked the credibility of a 12-year-old girl in mounting an aggressive defense for an indigent client accused of rape in Arkansas – using her child development background to help the defendant.”

  413. HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. – A man fighting with his girlfriend clung to a car roof and punched her through the window as she drove more than a mile on a busy road, hitting several other cars, police said.

  414. dot,

    what’s the dean-vermont connection?

Forgive me for butting in, but Leahy is pro-Obama and part of the group trying to block Clinton: Kennedy, Kerry, Dean, Leahy, Pelosi, etc.

  415. he was gov to of vermont, remember when someone died.. i checked wikpedia
Howard Brush Dean III, MD (born November 17, 1948) is an American politician and physician from the U.S. state of Vermont, and currently the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, the central organization of the Democratic Party at the national level. Before entering politics, Dean received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1978. Dean was elected to the Vermont House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1982 and was elected lieutenant governor in 1986. Both were part-time positions that enabled him to continue practicing medicine. In 1991, Dean became Governor of Vermont when Richard A. Snelling died in office.

  416. Dot, birdgal,

You mean the vermont polling numbers are low for HRC coz Dean is from vermont and is part of the group you mention above, including Vermont Senator Patrick leahy?

  418. Emjay, Spacegirl,

Here is a link to a long profile of Obama posted in April that gives the story in length.

Imo it shows Obama with a very nasty, dismissive, ‘insult to injury’ tone. He shows this in a lot of things. When caught, he acts like an impudent smile can wash it all away.

Chicago Trib Obama story posted in Aprl titled “Showing his bare knuckles
In first campaign, Obama revealed hard-edged, uncompromising side in eliminating party rivals”
    http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/obama/chi-0704030881apr04,0,3337845,full.story?coll=chi_news_politics_obama_promo
( If this link doesn’t work, there are others; or try Googling some key words. )

And he defended his use of ballot maneuvers: “If you can win, you should win and get to work doing the people’s business.”
    ….

Asked whether the district’s primary voters were well-served by having only one candidate, Obama smiled and said: “I think they ended up with a very good state senator.”

Imo a very nasty, dismissive thing to say, as they already HAD a very good state senator, Alice Palmer. Mr Kumbaya Negotiator could have done things a little differently, and got TWO state senate seats for his group, instead of bumping her out of hers and then making nasty remarks about her.

“I gave some thought to … should people be on the ballot even if they didn’t meet the requirements,” he said. “My conclusion was that if you couldn’t run a successful petition drive, then that raised questions in terms of how effective a representative you were going to be.”

Everyone already knew how effective a representative Alice Palmer had been in that seat for quite a few years.

  420. Vermont is very very liberal: Bernie Sanders is a socialist democrat, Leahy endorsed bho, Dean is from there, and so is Ben & Jerry’s, started by hippies I think…..

In first campaign, Obama revealed hard-edged, uncompromising side in eliminating party rivals”
    h t t p : / /www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/obama/chi-0704030881apr04,0,3337845,full.story?coll=chi_news_politics_obama_promo

Everyone already knew how effective a representative Alice Palmer had been in that seat for quite a few years.

birdgal .. yes. FSU. I lurve the support Hillary has there

LOL! Well, I’m sure you know me, then. 🙂 What a small cyber world.

  423. Basil…the TIPS line on top right of HillayHub works for me. I’ve sent them stuff and have actually had a reply “thank you”

try that rather than “Contact Us”

    Dot, birdgal,

You mean the vermont polling numbers are low for HRC coz Dean is from vermont and is part of the group you mention above, including Vermont Senator Patrick leahy?

    (Sorry I sometimes I’m a bit slow).

I can only speak of myself, but yes. Vermont is very liberal.

  425. I missed you IDunn, been out there blogging, taking the dog out, ordering an iron lung (smile) and gathering info…

I wanted to know if you could again post that quote from Obama’s book about him being a blank slate for projection

  426. obama can succk it. This is not going to be an election he can just cakewalk towards and even if Obama is the nominee, I want Hillary to fight tooth and nail and drag him down under.

Hillary will still win though. NO doubt. I am now more convinced than ever that HIllary is 44.

  427. Bill’s on from Kileen C-SPAN

Blue…a post like that about hillary from Drudge needs the full story. Maybe the kid was a freak. But if they are having to go back to her twenties to find stuff they don’t already know, they are reaching.

My bigger fear would be Rove in Arkansas

  428. So Sinclair didn’t pass polygraph? Didn’t see it discussed.

    Found this…
Dr. Ed Gelb, Former President of the American Polygraph Association was the Polygraph expert selected by Whitehouse.com. He has done over 30,000 polygraph examinations over his long career. There were two polygraph tests administered by Dr. Gelb on Friday. the first polygraph asked Mr. Sinclair on his sex claims. The second polygraph test asked Mr. Sinclair on the drug use claims. There was deception indicated in both tests.

Also worth noting the ObamaBots are insane about these rethug attacks on his patriotism. What’s really interesting is how despite all the legitimate things Hill’s campaign has rapped BO for and received little to no play, this one starts with the AP, was carried by CNN & MSNBC.

” The article contains one quote after the next from right-wing polemicists accusing Obama of being unpatriotic. Josh Marshall noted last night that the article prominently features disgraced GOP operative Roger Stone as one of the central accusers, but just as bad, if not worse, it then goes on to quote this repulsive dialogue from Fox News’ Fox and Friends:

“First he kicked his American flag pin to the curb. Now Barack Obama has a new round of patriotism problems. Wait until you hear what the White House hopeful didn’t do during the singing of the national anthem,” said Steve Doocy, co-host of “Fox and Friends” on the Fox News Channel.

“He felt it OK to come out of the closet as the domestic insurgent he is,” former radio host Mark Williams said on Fox.

  429. SpaceGirl,
It’s a really long story (and can’t post a link).

    That’s why I didn’t post it & just gave a heads up….

  430. birdgal, I love FSU. I’ve been quite ill for the last couple years and don’t get to follow skating as much as I used to but I try to follow the online threads. I so much miss Kwan/Slutskaya/Cohen rivalry.

  431. Wow – I love Hillary giving Obama hell. Mock him – that’s what he needs. Duped isn’t the half of it. How dare he pretend to be this unifier while he is practicing the most deceptive politics in United States history! Just now able to log on – tell me what the response has ben from a) the corowds, b) MSM and c) BHO?

  432. yeah Im watching it now, he looks great! He’s really pushing it with the supporters and that’s great! He’s a lot more moving as a speaker compared with Kerry earlier who had a lot of sleepers, 🙂

  433. Hey curiousity! “tell me what the response has ben from a) the corowds, b) MSM and c) BHO?”

blogs I bothered with was same old shit from BO folks “How dare she mock us” “desperate” “she needs to give it up” etc…

as for MSM and BO….i dont care and havent looked. 😉

  434. Spacegirl, I can’t even remember the exact quote now. I know it was from The Audacity Of Hope, and said something about being a blank screen people project their politics on.

  435. I lurve Bill Clinton. He is such a wonderful advocate for Hillary.

Dot 48: Sorry to hear about your illness. I miss Kwan, Cohen, and Slutskaya. Everyone else pales in comparison.

  436. spacegirlart, what do you mean?

Kerry is coming on after this at 10 pm, wonder if it’ll be a bore?

  437. SO GLAD he is doing National Security…Stinky’s folks will call it war mongering, cuz they don’t have ANY cards in that deck

  438. Spacegirl, I found it.

“I serve as a blank screen,” Obama writes, “on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.”

  439. Oh God Deb, I lived there when he was zapping people every week. Was back in N Georgia mountains when he zapped Carla Fey…he was like a kid pulling the wings off flies

  440. I find Kerry to be a VERY moving and motivational speaker, in fact….bwahahahaha…forget it. Couldn’t even go there with a straight face.

  441. *swoon* I’m fainting. Idunn, got any holy water?

Dot, YOU know we don’t waste precious holy water on fainting!

I could maybe ask everyone to stand clear and give you some space though. 😉

  442. Blue Dem, Roger Stone is also the one who formed that anti-Hillary organization with the acronym C U N T. He’s scum indeed.

  443. Gawd, Bill is GREAT! I hope, really hope, that the people of Ohio, Texas, and Rhode Island see the light, and vote for her.

  444. Damn, I wished I’d have thought of saying this:

He’s not too left, not too right. Sort of black, and sort of white.

  445. Spacegirl says here is part of a comment froan O supporter on a blog I saw yesterday.

I think I was on that blog and all I posted there was a reference to BO’s comment about knocking his oppents off the ballot instead of letting the voters decide. Here are more references to the story:
    h t t p : //www.google.com/search?q=site:1950democrat.livejournal.com+%22Alice+Palmer%22&hl=en&client=opera&rls=en&start=0&sa=N

Then I closed the window, I didn’t want to waste time debating philosophy with that creep.

For one thing, THEY are the ones trying to change the rules about the Superdelegates in the middle of the game; the Supers are SUPPOSED to break ties, and to balance the results of popular votes that might be skewed, and in general to put a human judgement on choosing the best candidate.

For another, it IS within the rules for the first delegates seated at the convention to allow in other disputed delegates if they choose, overriding Brazile’s unwise ‘punishment’ of FL and MI.

All this is the fault of Brazile and the DNC: the FL GOP legislature caused trouble by setting a date that conflicted with the DNC’s date, and Brazile and others fell for it. And instead of some enforceable ‘punishment’ (such as withholding funds from FL next year) they tried to strip the delegates, which they should know was likely to cause a fight.

  446. IDunn…thanks for the link…

as Hillary would say, “All Hat and No Cattle”

glad others are saying it more.

The DNC is going to get screwed before November….with Barack Obama and his “I am a Dream” speech.

  447. seeing obamathugs on MYDD now trying to say that Hillary is raising money just to pay off the loan she gave her campaign, before dropping out. They are getting desperate in the wish that she will drop out.

  448. 1950, thanks…

they DID know it would be a fight…just the way they wanted.

It is GERRYMANDERING BY the WHOLE lot of them…the “Stars” as Bill just called them.

We have GOT to keep this election from being stolen

losing in a real fight is one thing. Rigging the fight is another.

So much for their HOPE AND CHANGE. It’s the SOS

  449. That article about Obama, came out 12/06.

    @Devans:

The obamathugs, obamabots can think whatever, they want. They are delusional. I hope, she comes out with some kick-ass TV and radio ads. I don’t know, why they think she should drop out now, especially, with two big contests coming up. Wishful thinking?

  450. I don’t think BO will be trumpeting this endorsement:
‘In his first major public address since a cancer crisis, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the “hope of the entire world” that the U.S. will change for the better.’

  451. devans, I heard a small radio spot a few weeks ago when she announced her loan that there was more if she needed to do that, and they mentioned a figure. . That is why WE need to keep giving. This is the only time I am more than happy to supplement a Millionaire. I am paying for OUR FUTURE, and not the way GW has made me.

  452. UG…i just unmuted Kerry for a millisecond. HE’s telling the Barack was a poor boy from Indonesia story.

Sounds rather disingenuous coming from Mr. Heinz.

  453. Devans…ROLF…..

I argued this point in a blog the other day…that is, if he is the HOPE OF THE ENTIRE WORLD, why does he need an election to prove it?

    JUST DO IT

  454. @Devans:

GAG ME! They give BO, way too much power. Everyone is going to move over for him? Give me a break. This is very scary and dangerous.

  455. [I]In his first major public address since a cancer crisis, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the “hope of the entire world” that the U.S. will change for the better.[/I]
    LMFAOOOOO to infinity.

  456. yes, SpacegirlArt same here. She may be a millionaire, but her money alone would never be enough to offset the forces backing BO. We are and need to continue funding her as much as we can.

  457. That article about Obama, came out 12/06.

I’m aware of that. I posted it because there was a quote in it that Spacegirl asked for, and I thought she might like to see the whole article.

  458. “This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow.

Notice how Farrakhan left you white devils out of the picture! 😉

LMAO until I’m blue in the face!

  459. Idunn: it is a good article. It is so true.

Yeah, I’m kind of surprised I’d never read it before. I read at Realclearpolitics all the time, but yesterday was the first time I’d seen it. Go figure, huh?

  460. Farrakhan also leveled small jabs at Hillary Rodham Clinton, Obama’s rival for the Democratic nomination, suggesting that she represents the politics of the past and has been engaging in dirty politics.

I guess, BO’s new politics include: threatening people who do not agree with you or don’t endorse your candidate; support followers who are abusive, disrespectful, and vulgar to other people; advertise in Florida, when a prior agreement had been made, not to so; use language, which is gender biased and sexist; displays arrogance; and the list goes on. What is wrong with these people?

  462. goodnight my friends, let’s pray that tomorrow is a good day for Hillary!

Onward to a new week that’ll be in Hillary’s favor, let’s win this for her!

  463. Gotta hand it to bambi. He is finding love and admirers in all the right places. The Reverend Louis Farakan and his wonderful theories on the original source of the AIDS virus. Spiritual leader of the world. What fun it would be to be a Republican now. Just roll the tapes and let him do it to himself. I-am-the-one-you-have-been-waiting-for. Halleluja, pass the offering plate to venture capitalists circling over our country like vultures ready to seize assets and of course the crown family who he served so ably, and he can say to them as well I am the one you have been waiting for.

  464. why…is a picture of BHO next to the headline of Nader announcing his run??? don’t the delusional know they don’t have pictures on the ballots??

  465. I gurantee that the right wingnuts will all be speaking of the same talking points tomorrow on OBami re:

    patriotism
    flag pin
    Pledge of allegiance
    Michelle Obama
    and now…….drumroll please…..
Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakkhan.

  466. thanks devan…

    saw this out there…

The rovian words continue. “LORAIN, Ohio — Sen. Barack Obama said today Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton presents herself as if she was “co-president” from 1993 to 2000.”

this is what MANY have concerns about. Hillary Clinton is RUNNING ON HER OWN. This guy needs to be bitch slapped at the next debate.

  467. Broward County (FL) Dem Chair on Fox…”It has never been a question that we will be seated. We will be seated, but we do not know when”

    whatever that means

  468. I’m glad to see Hill alive and fighting and not caring so much what the MSM will think of her. Take your case straight to the voters. I’m so very please that they made their goal but the campaign will be needing more money and we definitely need to continue to call, call, call.

I think that the small drumbeat of negative press that Obama is getting may start to take their toll. Her #s are very encouraging in RI but they really need to get more ads up in that state, 3-1 is not good so hopefully when the debate ad is added, the playing field will be levelled.
