Iowa Report: Ready For Change

Also, check out this video of a 2 part WOI-TV news report on Hillary and Bill’s Most Excellent Iowa Adventure. According to the reporter, there was “whole-hearted support for Hillary”.

Des Moines Register has video of Hillary supporters. Some great and even inspiring tributes to Hillary and the great presidency of Bill Clinton. These videos show the strong support Hillary from Iowans. “I miss Bill terribly… I hope Hillary recharges things.”

Ruth Harkin, the wife of popular Iowa Senator Tom Harkin, endorsed Hillary and introduced Hillary at the fairgrounds.

Latest poll from Iowa: Hillary leading in Iowa too. Only states Hillary does not lead in are the homes states of some of her opponents.

“Bill Clinton, wearing a bright yellow shirt contrasting drastically with his wife’s peach outfit, spoke for just seven minutes. He pointed out a man in the crowd with a sign, and said, “There is one guy back in the back that represents a group that I belong to. It says ‘Husbands for Hillary’.“

“In the Democratic arsenal, he is one of a kind; the ultimate weapon, a sort of rhetorical nuclear option. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton brought out the big gun at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Monday night in a jampacked event punctuated by fireworks blasts at the end.”

Hillary addressed the ACORN conference in Philadelphia yesterday as well as accepting the endorsment of her candidacy by Mayor Street (and many other Philadelphia area leaders) of Philadelphia. After the ACORN conference Hillary flew to Iowa. After arriving in Iowa Hillary issued a statement on the Libby pardon by Bush:

“Today’s decision is yet another example that this Administration simply considers itself above the law. This case arose from the Administration’s politicization of national security intelligence and its efforts to punish those who spoke out against its policies. Four years into the Iraq war, Americans are still living with the consequences of this White House’s efforts to quell dissent. This commutation sends the clear signal that in this Administration, cronyism and ideology trump competence and justice.”

  1. I have to admit, I’ve got a soft point for the Bill Clinton aka “the Big Dog”. And I just adore Hillary. I think bringing out “the Big Dog” to Iowa was an excellent idea. He isn’t over shadowing her. He’s just using his best asset, “charisma”. Go Clintons!
